"Brandon Golson was the most successful thing we've ever done we got she'll Direct TV and Visa involved made a lot of money got a lot of lessons Patrick Mahomes retweeted it Travis. Kelce was retweeting it. We're starting to make an impact we've gone from you know, this dog Warriors and and Lakers podcast who are so valuable to now, you know Pat Mahomes is retweeted glue. It's just You told me that the company to go to one of the best quarterbacks in the world would be content wouldn't have happened at the radio station. That was that they're thinking small they're thinking about how do I local programming for for 7:30? Yeah, so it's been freezing for me. I felt like I was a bird in a cage man. And now I'm I'm flying and I'm building a team of it's amazing. You mentioned some professional athletes that jumped on board early early. How did you get them to I guess kind of your brand get them to buy in. You know, how a different person or the regular is that a Barstool deboard. I really sets the tone the same same at the ringer with Bill Simmons. All the content is a little bit different than than portal your sentence underneath them, but it's mostly the same the higher the same type of for Bill. It's a snarky NBA off type of voice and they they really even talked the same or annoyed as much as I love big cat and it's all kind of a Spain the think about birth. wire is Man, we negative sewer are gay. Abner mares is a bilingual podcast. We are looking at ourselves as more of a label. Of course, we're brand but Thursday, we are a Melting Pot a pot luck dinner. Everyone kind of their podcast is like their own little Tapas played that they come and bring into blue wire. And so we're think of us like Shopify not Spotify Shopify all these eCommerce Merchant some kind of upload different things and do transactions from Shopify arms Rebels and they work with Kim Kardashian's brand off work with Pepsi for all their e-commerce. We're trying to do the same. We want to have arming the Rebels the new voices for Lakers Warriors all these podcasts and these athletes are also plugging in to us and wage, you know Shopify is how people make money as they have their own brand. They have their own brand plugging into Shopify and that's how we're looking at ourselves. It's really cool how you've been able to diversify and kind of just like jump into age. Everything every every once it's very inclusive. Everyone's involved like a million different audiences, which is obviously a huge for the business, you know, they say people listen to anywhere from 4 to you know, five six seven podcast a week. There's so many podcasts out there. What's kind of your strategy to get in people's rotation. Oh, yeah. So what blue wire does hurt our broadcasters a hundred fifty of them most of them we edit their show. We monetize it. We send them video clips to upload so they can focus on growing Their audience. They can tweet more if they can post on their Snapchat more they can that's our sell to people to why they should join us, but you're right. It's it's super crowded for us when I got into we're making our own original content, right? So we have our creators, but our first original series is called American Prodigy and we are looking to make content that we can one day become dead. And who do the example Tiger King started as a podcast was called? It wasn't called hydrogen, but Netflix bought the rights to that and so we are building. How bout I mean I just have all this Regional content and have all this storytelling content. So season 2 of American prodigies coming out and a month. It's on Ken Griffey Junior season 3 is bought him a famous golfer from mm who won a lot and then quickly disappeared. I think there are true crime type of stories that are not true crime, but can be towed in a podcast and then eventually made into documentaries having some amazing conversations with some Hollywood Studios. I feel like I'm dreaming man. I never even set out when I started this company to make movies now all of a sudden, you know, we might be partnering with with guys who have made movies on HBO and ESPN pretty quickly here with a podcast that we started wage. Amazing amazing separate ourselves man. So it's completely really really hard Spotify iHeart Barstool. All these people are investing in original content. Thought I heard are requiring add Tech podcast is going to be more like you there are thirty-three million channels out there. Of course, there's really good ones. But God there's only 1 million podcast feeds right now eight hundred thousand of them are absolutely awful. So I just think we haven't even scratched the surface think about what you can search in to YouTube and find out where you can search for a podcast. I think the space is going to move quickly in the next five years to become more searchable more short for more stories right now. It's still two people talking mostly dead. And that's why I'm coming in the spaceman. Yes. It's crowded. The the best are going to win. I think blue irises positioned ourselves to be one of the best in podcasting. It's the Raiders post-game Edition starting now. What's up, everybody? Welcome to the post-game edition of the Vegas Nation Podcast to tidy thing here and I'm joined with Adam Hill and our columnist said rainy. We're going to break down the Raiders lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 45 to 20 the final here at a legion stadium and we knew it was going to be a tough outing the Raiders taking on Tom Brady, but the week that led up to it and everything else that happened on a field from the defense of flounders and the running game never really getting started here. There's a lot of things that went wrong in this loss. But Adam, what was the thing that stood out to you than most tonight in the Raiders 45 to 20 lots of the Bucks. I mean two things one on each side of the ball. I would say the fact that they couldn't run it that was a big factor for sure was one of the worst running games we've seen out of that was the worst running game. We've seen out of Josh Jacobs and I think a lot of that was the offensive line of the you know, the difficulties they had this week, but that was also the fact that Tampa Bay is one of the best front sevens in the league and then dead On the other side of the ball. I mean it was the defense in general but I think just like on the offensive side where it starts up front. It starts up front defensively and they could not generate any kind of pass rush and if you let you know. Quarterbacks and you know, Tom Brady has been a great quarterback, you still a pretty good quarterback in this league and he had a really good day today. If you let those guys stand in the pocket and don't even don't even threatened to to make sure them don't even threatened to make them uncomfortable. It's going to be a long day for your defense and the Raiders found that out quickly. Yeah, and I want to remind everybody that we are brought to you here by Sam & Nash injury law were also brought to you by favor indeed Pepsi. So and I wanted to ask your thoughts here on what the readers might have been able to do better. I don't know that they could have done much better against pass rush. But what could they have done better overall in this game? I mean, it sounds simple but Adam said it but you know, here's the issue at this. It doesn't start today. They can't pressure quarterbacks and until they find a way to page. Quarterbacks, it won't matter if it's Tom Brady. It won't matter who the quarterback is. Justin Herbert when they play the Chargers whoever it is too old when they play the Dolphins, you can't let guys just stand back there and pick you apart all day. So they you have to find some way to get pressure on quarterbacks Blitz more that gets you in Peril in the back end when you're young but you can't just stay on Pat here as a rule for the column tomorrow status quo in the defense is not working and they've got to start pressuring quarterbacks. There are three and three I think they have a playoff level offense, but they're going to get caught here if they don't improve their defense cuz you can have a playoff level offense. But if you can't stop people going to the playoffs and I don't think it's a lack of talent. There's plenty of guys on this defense that had great Seasons last year. You look at Max Crosby. I mean clelin Ferrell we knew needed to step up this year. But Nick wykowski has been out there making tackles for this team Adam. If you had a point to one particular part, you mentioned the pass rush already, but I mean what can be done here to try to improve On this to create pressure to make this front for better to make these linebackers play better and have the Raiders come out on ahead of this, you know curve what could be done better off. I think they there's a couple things we first of all they meet to look for if their personnel choices that can be made if there's can you make a trade. Can you find somebody that's out there? I mean, they tried to to go get her veins week. We'll see how close he is. He has a plane a couple of years and I think Jon Gruden was very cautious about whether he'd ever be able to make an impact. Is there somebody out there they can go get is there something genetically you can do either, you know, figuring out some sort of, you know way to stunt up the defensive line. We saw a little bit of that today when they were, you know, lining up with a car off the edge of the hip of the defensive and and try to stack that way try to run stunts you can you can do things like that, but there's only so much you can do because if you try to get into a blind situation, Georgia Posing the the back end of your defense of that something that they really don't want to do because they are sitting there with a lot of it experience, you know in the cornerback position at the safety position all over the back end of the defense you you don't have experience. So you are in a tough spot there where you know, you don't want to put pressure on those guys by blitzing and and leaving them exposed. But at the same time you've got to figure out a way to suck how some way pressure quarterbacks cuz it's not working with the front floor and I've gotten said if you're only going to rush for, you know, then the first of all they have to get there, but if they don't then you've got several guys that are covering you've got to be able to get guys covered. They can't do either one right now and I wanted to get into credits comments because he did seem that he was going to put some thought into things here and was there any hints there that are maybe some changes coming with coaching of any sort when you listen to what Gruden had to say in the post-game press Ur, when he's like I have to think about it, but something will happen in the morning. Yeah. I mean, I think looking put everything off. Table with a very read between the lines comment of the going to have changes. I don't know if that means, you know defensive coordinator Paul guenther. I don't know what that means. It's coaching staff. Like Adam said you could change your skin. But at this point that's I don't know how much you can change it at the point this season six games in maybe you're you're too deep changes and guys who haven't gotten as many snaps now get your snaps, but he definitely made a comment to her everyone read probably into what they thought he meant, but there's no question changes coming. He said that the process was going to start right after the press conference and I think he's probably already started that process took a major might have been done already Heidi and we probably won't know till tomorrow. I don't think we'll know tonight but they might have already made a major move that we just aren't aware of yet. All right, so we'll wait that out and see what happens but let's talk about here on the wrong side of the ball. We talked a lot about the Raiders defense, but on the offense, you know, Derek Carr threw an interception. He hasn't done too much of that but we did make a mistake here. He was being pressured flushed out of the pocket quite often job. Even in one of those plays where their car was trying to escape the pass rush he kind of fell on top of Sam young Sam young gets hurt and wage left the game in the second quarter didn't return. So I mean there were already down some of these offensive lineman, but now I think Gabe Jackson had to leave the game and then you're down Sam young takes an effect, but overall. What did you make a Derek's car performance and how did you created it? You know what it was fine. You have to throw in there. Like you said, he was Patchwork in front of him that sat three times. I think he got hit five other times. I had some nice place to have some nice throws made a bad pic morning. Threw it into some coverage but you have to start with a line. Like you said, you'll gave Jackson didn't just leave you got thrown out of the game for something you shouldn't do and stand and hit the guy shoulder when the guys down on the ground. I mean, you can't react like that you're going to get thrown out and that really hurt them when you take him out of the lineup to go with that dog. Is already missing so they didn't lose because of their car today they lost because they could they let Tom Brady stand back there and have a sandwich and a soda all day. I mean that's why they lost but there are car was fine. Now Derek are played off today where if they had any kind of Defense if they pressured Tom Brady if they meet some, you know made Tampa may make some mistakes the Raiders would have been in it. So he was fine. He wasn't.
