Pompeo's Letter Is the Trump Administration's Opening Salvo of Obstruction
"Let's start with what we know about. Mike Pompeo the more and more we're starting to see here. It is is quite clear that we are headed to a a full blown impeachment possibly not just against the president they are stonewalling. They are we now have pompeo subpoenaed for documents Giuliani Subpoena for documents the failure to provide these documents now and this is what the differences with impeachment as opposed to normal proceedings they have written in the context of this subpoena but failure to produce produce under these circumstances will be regarded as evidence of obstruction and will constitute obstruction action in the context of impeachment. They are simply declaring it. Remember this is not this is a political a political process not a criminal or judicial. One and Congress is simply saying you do not provide us this material. It will be a count of obstruction and it will be obstruction it. They could launch impeachment proceedings against Pompeii. Oh they could do it against bill bar and it feels like every day there's more and more the evidence to substantiate an impeachment proceedings against both of them. Here's Palm Peyot two weeks ago two weeks ago now. Maybe this wasn't this Sunday. Oh yeah wait it. Was this Sunday wasn't it. I'm sorry sorry I'm confused because today's Wednesday here he is on this week with Martha. Raddatz on Sunday right this is with Martha got it and here he is. He's completely bewildered about this whole call thing do they call will return to this whistle blower complaint mister secretary the complained involving the president and a phone call with the foreign leader to the director of National Intelligence Inspector General. That's where the complaint was lodged by the whistleblower. The Wall Street Journal is reporting the president trump pressed the president of Ukraine eight times to work with Rudy Giuliani to investigate Joe Biden son. What do you know about those conversations so you just gave me a report report about IC whistle blow compaign none of which I've seen I can tell you about this administration's policies with Ukraine. I remember the previous administration was begged begged by the Ukrainian people to deliver defensive arms so that they can protect themselves from Vladimir Putin and Russia and they gave them blankets. This administration took seriously the responsibility of grain and people. We've provided now on multiple occasions resources so that the Ukrainians can defend themselves. We've worked on that. We Are we're working. We'll see presence Alinsky this week. We want a good relationship with let me read something freedom and independence but you know nothing about this but let me let me let me ask ask you this question. Ukrainian presidential read out of the conference conversation said they discussed quote investigation of corruption cases which inhibited the interaction between between Ukraine and the US say the president tweeted Saturday was perfectly fine and respectful conversation. Do you think it's perfectly fine to ask foreign leader to investigate a political opponent. I think I saw statement from the Ukrainian. Foreign Minister yesterday said there was no pressure applied in the course of the conversation I I I do think I do think if President Biden behaved inappropriately fee was protecting his son and intervened with the Ukrainian leadership in a way that was corrupt. I do think we need to get to the bottom of that. Martha within I I hope that we will. I hope that Vice President Biden engaged in behavior that was appropriate. I hope the American people will come to learn that we've seen Matt Matt have interfered with America cannot have our elections interfered with and if that's what took place there if there was that kind of activity engaged in by Vice President Biden. We need to know Oh. There's no evidence of that yet but if the conversation was perfectly fine as president trump said why not release the transcript or a portion to the public the white hustle have to explain I mean I think we've this was this was it must have been a week a week from last Sunday. There's two weeks ago and there's Mike pompeo seemingly no awareness of this call whatsoever. You didn't even have time to read the whistle blower complaining just heard a report about the whistle missile blower complaint he did though put a clue in there because it wasn't just about Joe Biden in Hunter Biden's corruption. This phone call was not just about that that we should say and we'll we'll discuss the the the lack of corruption that exists there I mean at least in terms of Joe Biden's perspective but they are now pursuing another theory that is Obama Gate or Hillary Gate that the Ukrainians were the ones who actually actually interfered with the election but tried to frame the Russians. This is the stuff that's going on now in the fevers this gateway pundit stuff and there's Mike pompeo trying to push that narrative on ABC television last week. This is what they've been up to but we'll get back to that meantime. Here's Mike Pompeo yesterday in Italy conceding that well actually I was on that phone. Call was on the phone. Call was on the phone call. The phone call was in the context of now. I guess I've been secretary state for coming on a year and a half I know precisely what the American policy with respect to Ukraine remarkably consistent and we will continue to try a to drive those set of outcomes. It's what our team included. Including Ambassador Volker or focused on was taken down the threat that Russia poses there in Ukraine it was about helping the Ukrainians to get graft out corruption outside of their government a- and to help now this new government in the Ukraine build a successful thriving economists what State Department officials that is basically that was his way of. I mean he listened. Easy is smart guy went to Harvard knows how to Filibuster knows how to bury the lead. I was on the phone call but because and then here's a bunch of filler. Essentially that's basically the the story they're going with now. I imagine most people by I now know that the Hunter Biden situation the Joe Biden was over there telling the Ukrainian they get rid of your prosecutor because the prosecutor was not pursuing corruption and there was a hideous amount of corruption there it also happens to be the case that Hunter Biden is not exactly a you know. He's he's sort of the George Bush the family. He's a fell son. Can I right. I just add to this a little bit. I mean so to be really specific about what you're saying. The reason it is exculpatory. I think there's a broader critique here in two ways but the reason it specifically Komo can specific conspiracy theory does not stand is that this energy company is a Russian aligned oligarch who was was gonna who sort of represented the Russian aligned order he got Hunter Biden on with the sort of clear desire to win favor with the Obama Administration and what Biden did was basically fire a prosecutor who was aligned with this guy and not all for the firing right call for the firing so so basically the reason that this specific threat of the story is nonsense. Is that in that specific action. He's contradicting his son's interest to the frankly I mean it's you know it's pretty irrelevant. His son makes a payday either way right. Let the conspiracy theory is exactly backwards. He's going up against what the sun is hired to do. However I mean it's actually sort of an interesting drama where the dad comes in and the wayward son. Is there and he tries to undercut the wayward sons interests or even. It doesn't matter like hey son. You got your payday. We're still going to do this anyways. You know either way we win and I would say that serious. You know I wouldn't take I do think you know structurally when the US talks about corruption other countries even when they're right that is a harbinger of our own interests and energy companies. We want to advocate for so there's there's a broader critique as well as just even hunter getting the job to begin with but that's specific conspiracy is contradicted by all evidence of what happened. The hunter thing is more of a generic type of corruption. That seems to exist everywhere whether it's like you know Chelsea Clinton. I'm getting hired by. NBC or Abby Huntsman for that matter or you know Billy Carter going around and trying to sell off access to advil yeah. Billy Carter was cool though I feel bad for him because he didn't have family sign off. He's just trying to Qaddafi May. Why do you always get all the credit read it. I don't get the sense that hunter necessarily has family sign off too. I think this guy get family sign off from his brother to sorry what's that you don't know that story about the net. It's been a lot of things I did without family sign-off man hey my brother died. What's up sauter her but the trump people the trump people are always going to be angrier at these coastal elites and it's like normal corruption and this kind of nepotism. It's just accepted as the way of things than they are at trump's open and craven corruption and I mean look because they're like well. At least he's not pretending that he doesn't have mud on him right but the the bottom line is is that this type of corruption exists in every facet of society. I'm not making apologies for it but I mean you know you grow up in you know we. I I went to go see concerts in high school because my girlfriend's dad was on the Civic Center Commission. You know it's like Whoa Whoa Whoa. I think you just showed yourself here. They might need to take the rest of the week off Sam. I gotcha flow deep corruption but I I mean of course this is true and of course the stakes of the the cranium energy business are deeper than basically hunter gets the job promises yeah. I'll get dad well. He shows up at the loss he also got. MBNA lobbying thing right at the same time as dad was pushing through the bankruptcy bill he was on the board of something the board of the Amtrak Amtrak which is basically a trade expert bro Brothers wives. I just think that come into an Amtrak board way would family members everywhere and some are incentivized to do this stuff and helped out more more than others but nevertheless meanwhile as Mike Pompeo heads it's to Rome apparently Seb Gorka gets on the plane with him because someone has to go now understand the here's the point one of the reasons why impeachment was so necessary in which I was saying for months. Was that there you you can't just basically run out the clock and it -ssume that there's just GonNa be this vacuum that remains there while all all this is going on. It's quite clear the trump administration bill bar Mike pompeo have been actively involved involved in trying to not only undercut the Muller investigation. Remember the molar investigation to over. They're undercutting the entire

"The left of outreach, and I will tell you. I take this very personally as a woman of color who has been the subject of so much bigotry, and what a lot of people don't know is that my grandfather is Jewish. He's the Sephardic Jew. And so I have, you know, my family members have received a lot of bigotry, so, but I I've experienced firsthand in my family, anti-semitism and bigotry for being black. And so I just so, you know. Attraction. That is sunny hosted and who is now like my favorite daytime talk show. Landless Hayes do. Comfortable with me speaking now. You're going to go back because really now stands it. Well, so Meghan is trying to interrupt a sunny throughout this. And she can't and even Abby Huntsman was trying to interrupt a sunny throughout this. And she she can't just blew through her. And so I have a feeling the fact that Meghan was, you know, feels ganged up on by joy and sunny, I mean, this is so silly that we're talking about this. But millions of people get their perspective on these things through this. I mean, this is this the view is so much more effective in getting a political message across than this program it that it is impossible for medium contemplate. So this stuff is relevant so sunny enjoy are basically, you know, taking the lead here. And I think that's as much of a reason. Why Meghan McCain get so emotionally anything else watch this act? And so I just I saw, you know, I I think think it's it's I I it's it's. traction leather comfortable with speaking. Now. So she also said Israel has hypnotized the world suggested that Jews in Israel have bought US politicians all about the Benjamins imply that American Jews have divided loyalties. And it's okay for people to push. None of this is true. The only thing she did say was that Israel has hypnotized the world. And and I would take issue with the word hypnotized because really what they have done is sent out squads of former Masada agents in private organizations to change and to intimidate literally to intimidate people who critique Israel in this country. That's not hypnosis in many respects. It's worse. And this is something that she tweeted in twenty twelve deleted and apologize for in. Frankly, I tell you like it may be inappropriate language for a congress person. Because you're in a con- like, I tell my son. Hey, we're at a restaurant don't keep talking about your penis..

"I thought he did too, but it was a tough day for him and you guys did a great job. We can't. We're real people right wanna realize pile Pylons on. wanted to understand have hearts. Yeah, we do well tells one thing that we would be really surprised. No about you about me. I can't whistle. Oh my God. That's hilarious. Can we just hear what you can do? Wow, I've tried. Many times to can't whistle. What does that say about the two of the way? I know my right hand versus my left is still the sung, the thumb that I would suck. I sucked my thumb and I was twelve years old and my dad would tell me he would say at night if you don't suck your thumb, I'll give you little prizes here in there so he'd come in and tuck me in. And when he'd leave, I'd pull my thumb right out from under the pillow and put it back my mouth who didn't know. Oh, you're a cute. It's your baby sucker. She's not. Oh, I know in a way I'm happy because it was so hard for me to to get over. Yeah. The only reason you braces because my teeth were sticking out so much from all those years. Gosh. Yeah. What about the other stuff you're interested in? What about the rest of your life? Because we talk politics here every day when you're not watching news when you're not reading about this stuff, what else are you into? What are you doing? What are you stream on? Netflix? What do you do with that music do? Well, I'm a huge music person because I grew up doing musical theater Ryan. I bond over his wife loves theater too, and that's really, I think, what. Allows me to do what I do now is I had this love for performing in this left for acting and playing characters that were so different than who I was. I loved that challenge and music is I just my sister concert pianist. My dad dropped out of high school. He was in a rock band, so sort of runs in our family when we're together. All we do is as listen to music. And then if it's not music, my husband, I love Netflix where we were into. So every tower three, Netflix shows you love. Are you've been watching. It's a mix. We just I don't know if it's always Netflix since it's really apple TV we, you know what I'm watching right now is kidding with Jim Carey yet. It's funny which is actually good, but we're, we've been at all of them how Handmaid's tale. We just finished the Americans was great. Finish that one, but it's like our thing like we get together if we have time at night and we watch like an hour episode and. Brought a fee watches an episode without you? Well, we went through that because I used to work the morning shift at FOX, and so he would have to watch Netflix himself on the couch. And I get so mad because he'd finish whole season. And then I decided not watching it because I don't wanna watch it alone and weekends back for the first time. You realize how much you need weekends when you get them back, just getting up on a Saturday with your family and just getting.

"She's so once people think the show is, you know, people disagreeing and it's all about politics, but you get outside of that and you guys see this morning meetings, how much of it is just laughing, comedy. Our joy reminds me so much of my sister who's now doing stand up comedy, and they say what so many people in the room are thinking, but nev-. I would actually say. Says it and half the time. Everyone just sits there. Cringing silence to say that and the other half were all laughing. Hysterical. And I think because our show has gotten so serious because of all the stuff going on in the world, I think people forget how funny Whoopie is how funny joy is. And so I jump at any opportunity to let them be themselves. Light-hearted segments like today doing the traveling alone, right? You know, that's when really, really shine. We're all making an effort to do more and fun stuff too. But the new cycle. Yeah. Then that leads us to sunny who's obviously are designated lawyer on the show. There's so much more to sunny. You know, she's such a family person. She someone that cares a lot about about race, about equality about women's rights, and she's really passionate about and she comes on there and it's, you can tell like, she goes to bed at night concerned about these things. I learn a lot from her just about life, but also the law. I mean, that's that's something that I don't always understand. So sunny sort of the person we can say, you're, you're the one that gets this helps break this down for us, but she's just she's just a lovely person. I was watching her during the Cavanaugh hearings and because we spend every day with her, you know, and there are so many funny parts about her and she's very so strong put on her legal hat. She put on her leading and which I still think we should do on the show. She just put on a hat periodically in the. Right? Because she's they're different sides of the analytical lawyer, and then she's got social Justice chickens and she loves to cook. I'm learning more about her. She has a restaurant and she was on chopped even. My favorite horrible lose admits it. Yeah, and got chicken eggs yet. Although I put everyone on that show's about loser. I mean, the only way to survive on the view like b. I have a hard time right ex- from the chickens yet, not yet. Eggs who I've only been here month. They're delicious. All right. So Abby, this season already with so many incredibly interesting guests who stood after you the most? Well, Kelly, Clarkson is my absolute favorite and she was so surprisingly humble and just fun out there just herself. And that's probably why she's been so successful these years, but Norman Donal was one of my favorites. I know people are surprised by that, but he came on during a really intense time for him where he was getting a lot of criticism for comments. He made about me to and and sympathizing with the accused and what it turned into was a real honest conversation and allowed him to explain himself. And I think in a way be forgiven and to be listened to. And what I took from that moment is this is what the show's about this show is not about, you know, you get a question and you answer the way you think you're supposed to. It's this is a conversation and how do we all learn from this? How can we all be more forgiving? How can we all be better to each other? That was the good takeaway. That's, you know, Norman been booked for a long time in that week. We're looking at it. We had all these big news e- political book we had. I'm Orosa stormy Daniels and all these things. We thought then at the end of the week, love like a light fund nor McDonald segment, and he was the news of the win. He was the news happens. Eleven to lie, didn't cancel does. He was canceled on Jimmy Fallon than four and we didn't know what was going to happen. I give them a lot of credit for coming on a show, not just a national television show, but a show of all women. Whereas topic most days have something do with sexual assault and harassment in those things. And he and he went into the lines, then I think he handled it pretty well..

"And then we've course set you up hardly when we do the hot topics. Can we just make a note that your parents are so fabulous looking? I mean your mother had on her leather pan. They are like the cutest couple ever. There's a reason why love still alive. I think they both. They both care about still being attracted to one dollar. And my mom always says Honey, when you get home at night, because I, I'm the opposite. I put on my jams the minute I walk in the door. He still got to put a little lipstick on been walks in. I, that's the advice she gives me, but the on them just being, I think having a good marriage is they're both just kind people there. So they're so selfless and humble. And so when people say your mama's such beautiful woman, I think will if only you got to know her because she doesn't even know she's beautiful. She. Care so much about other people, and that's what I love the most about those true when you when you meet my parents, you'll know right away. We can't wait your parents. They're going to get. They're going to be in the hot seat when they come. Well, here's what I wanna know. I love first of all. I'm just so happy like you backstage and you have a great relationship with all the host. So of course, for new person that brings both of us so much joy to see that that was just a seamless transition. So I wanna know what your thoughts are of each host, and let's start with miss Whoopie Goldberg. Who. I didn't know any of them before I came in and they're all so so different. And that's what makes this show Whoopi. Would be as I've gotten to know her. I always loved her from afar. She's a legend. We all know what we go Bergen. I've loved her since The Lion King since I was a little girl, she is has the biggest heart. One of the biggest harsh, anyone that I've met and she, she cares about you and she, that's the thing about will be everything she says on that show, whether you agree with her, you don't politically. It's coming from a place of personal experience. Something that she's been through in her life that she says, you know, I feel this way because of this. It's it's so authentic and she'll pull me into her office and talk to me about my daughter and say, here's here are some things that can help you, but I get it and the life experience. She has unbelievable. She has a story about everything. Every Hagley talking Frank Sinatra came, which is like, yeah, I remember when I met Frank and I'm just like, Marlon Brando took me in and I'm like, oh my gosh, you met everyone. There's no life experience, not just liberty stuff, but she's just lived. Very interesting. She can talk about anything intelligence. She doesn't act more important than you. No, she's got a great heart. Yeah, yeah, joy. Behar Whoppi shoe collection. My goodness. I told her just before coming on the show. Now I said of hydrogen size, I would be in there every single day. Unfortunately, I know I saw trying to get a pair on here. She does give them out to the staff which is nice thing. She does her. I have several pair awesome shoes off to the audience or something we should figure now. Now she knows what she loves a great thing. She's like, I know what I want to spend money on. Those are my shoes. Joy is a character is character because she makes me laugh, but she's not a character in that she so real everything. She says she, she believes she stands strong on that. It's not just she's not just speaking for now. There's no agenda. This is her heart overtime. She'll sit and she's the person when you're in the meeting or you're in a conversational people that she'll say something under her breath. And I'm like the one of it's my sense of humor. So I catch like second or two later, and I just can't stop laughing. She'll see me laughing. The two of us should start laughing together..

"I gotta tell you what I said today. Is that something sorry? That's fine. It's not even just Russia. It's President Trump comes up every single day on our show, and I have a dad that works for the president right is working for the most complicated relation that we have right now. And we've had these conversations and he's been very clear about this is something I love about him. He said, look, you go be you. You go, speak your mind. You're not there to speak on my behalf. You're not there to speak on the president's behalf, say whatever you believe, because I know that you have had enough experiences in your life to be confident about how you feel about what you want to say. So we've got a great relationship. I think I feel responsibility to defend people that work for the administration, like my dad. Because I know them, I know him well, and so when people paint a broad brush around the fact that if you for the president, you've got to believe everything that comes out of his mouth and you have to beat the same person is I have to push back on that and you'll see me do that on the show because it hits so close to home for me because I know one of those people who's wonderful who's over there and who understands how serious the national security threat is as it relates to Russia, and then trying to meddling meddle in our elections. I, I know that I know he's there for the right reason. So you'll see me push back just because there's a personal understanding. One of my favorite moments early on was with the New York Times came out for the anonymous op Ed. You know for the record father and then you kind of took a second and says, well, I don't think dad call me if it is now. That was funny. The other thing that hit close to home as when you call your parents out for their PDA. And that was hysterical, and I was like, there's no way on earth. She did not have to call up and be like, mom, dad, I kinda imply backs. So my parents have a great sex life, but they don't know that they're seven kids talk about a lot. We tell each other stories, did you have this experience? And so sometimes I think I've already experienced that on national television. You say, things that are personal because that's what the show is, and I think people relate to that. But then you also have to get the call after of like, why didn't you say that? I was so worried after that, that moment that I was gonna get yelled at and my mom called and was less great. You know what? I think people should be proud. The relationship that they having? No one that I'm so glad that you feel as a daughter. You can be proud of that, and I love my husband. I want people to know. I said, you know what? That react. Action is why I love my mom and why I look up to my parents so much, but I was very worried too. I was going to be the doghouse. Okay. Anytime anything like that happens anytime time or something like that that comes up. You've been there Brian? I'm definitely I've gotten killed them show that on another episode wait, but we always kind of take notes in the back of our head like, oh, that that could be really good..

"Afternoon just in time for your commute, your workout or any place you want to be to catch up on topic. Absolutely. And every now and then we're gonna be giving you some bonus episodes like today. So we're going to take you behind the scenes and if there are specific things you'd like to hear about, if you have questions, if there's a host you wanna hear from or to learn more about how things go at the view. You can tweet us at the view at Bryant PETA or at candy with an I and Carter hit us up on social. All right. So here we go. We just finished a live taping of the show and we are here with Abby Huntsman welcome. Be thrilled to be here. Hi Abby and interviewed by really my bosses the executive producers of the show. That's true. I forget that sometimes. Okay. So a month on the job, how's it been? It's been a whirlwind. Honestly, it feels like it's. A year already. A lot of that is the new cycle that doesn't slowdown, but the show is it's an attempt show. I mean, you go on there every day and you are. You're talking about the tough issues that everyone is home talking about, and those conversations behind closed doors can be uncomfortable sometimes, and you're out there in front of the American people, and you have to know what you think about things and you have to find a way to, you know, how do you handle a disagreement with other people at the table? And but also still relies like we're in this thing together, you know, when the show's off, we're still friends, and so you realize every day it's a responsibility. I know that I in a really lucky position to be here and I need to know how I feel, and I need to find a way to best communicate that and hopefully impact people along the way that that might feel the way I do. Can't the United talked about this and it's very different thing to watch the show. It's a different thing to co, host the show. Would you done earlier in your career than actually being on the show and and what's the biggest. Prize for you being on the show? Yeah. How is it different than you expected? How is it similar to what you expected behind? The scenes has been pretty seamless for me. I mean, we've I've heard about, I've watched this show since it came on the air and be also reap things about the view and years where it's it's, it's tough. You know, behind the scenes and my experience has been has been the opposite of that. Honestly, it's everyone everyone on the team is wonderful. It's I think the biggest change for me going from from FOX. And before that at MSNBC this live audience, you go out there and there's this energy and people come to the show and they wait in line all morning long to be here, and they're excited because it's like it's not just a performance, but I think we're really impacting people as we do it. The interviews that we do, the stories that we tell the unpredictability of the show every day is what's been the biggest change for me, and I learn something new every day. But one thing I think because we started so hot. Season. I mean, we came right out the gate with all these giant guests and all these big news. What? Because I did not easy them definitely didn't need him, but you did a great job coming in anyone. We've seen start this very hard job seamless, but one of the things I think that has been a loss there is we haven't gotten to know that much about you yet. And I think that will come throughout the season as we have more time to do hot topics and talk about your family relationships and things like that. But you just mentioned coming from FOX, but you MSNBC in other, tell people about your background a little bit. Yeah. Well, it's true. I mean, I who we are is really our upbringing and and the life that we live outside of work. And for me, I've lived all over the place. I've, I went to four high schools. One of seven kids married my college sweetheart and just had a baby ten months ago. They Bill and I have a golden retriever. So life is chaos when I leave show, but you're right, I bounced around I. I've been at Huffington Post. I started here ABC I after college Huffington Post MSNBC, Fox News..

"That? Austin is worried about the wording of the alert. She wants to make sure that it is worded properly and to her liking it. Better be polite. When telling you two quick run. Yeah. Because she she is so afraid of how the president would handle this. Here's the thing. I I gotta say who listens to that show family guy wants did a version of that they pretended that the view, and it was just all the women clucking. There was. It sounds like it's a hen coop. It's. You would never say that about men who acted that way. Hans. But they don't sound like either they just sound like their minds. Did you hear that? I did. And I've never heard of hint sound like that. But I can't believe you put me in the position by being by being a sexist. You put me the position of defending the view, stop it. I love that. Now, you're defending the view. It's amazing. I hate that. But what would they do? You can't believe you, maybe defend them. But did you see your them? All just automatically. What? Oh my God. This is terrible. And Abby Huntsman sitting there. Why Abby Huntsman is on this show? I don't understand why she's on this show. But it's because it's not because I don't like the president. But he's an idiot. Okay. Abby Huntsman just conveyed an opinion that you agree with what does because they hate the absolutely. But I have to Wade through the the craziness in order to get to that one voice. I can't I so their complaint that President Trump uniquely has this ability to be able to text everybody. Which have you got the alert. Yesterday, was wasn't even a text. Message was literally this is a test of this system, or whatever the words were actually I still have it on my phone. I saved it just for this. Good. Thank it says presidential alert. This is a test in all big letters of the national wireless. Emergency alert system. No action is needed. A. Wow. What a what a dramatic tax. I would say something like that. The grammar here. It is not written properly. But the point though, is the view is complaining about this. They're not alone. I saw some you know, some Twitter liberals making the same point yesterday. How dare the president of the United States have access to something like this? This is too much. This is that he has this much power. And my response to that is he has access to the nuclear codes have some perspective. This this is the most offensive thing. He could have access to he's got access to like far more dangerous stuff than this. And I hate to tell you. But we elected him. This is how it works. I yeah, I get it. And I know this was was set in motion the play was all planned out under Obama and get it. I don't I would prefer it to be an opt in system I can opt in to get these emergency alerts that I need to know about. I'd rather have it be often women, look that's all secure agreements with these with these telecommunication companies, which apparently they they have by force of law. I guess, but and do this. So that you can reach out to people they already do of your television and radio. You got these emergency alerts. This is not this is not changing my life, very much an MA actually save it on the other hand. I kind of would like this to go out on a periodic basis just to remind liberals that Hillary is not president and you have to include the word trumpeted somewhere. And just watch them all melt word is we're getting one this morning at nine. I just got that seriously White House, we could it's to say, don't watch the view. The president. We could totally gaslight them. It's eight twenty three at WMA AL. This December.

Be called shrews yes yes that'd be awesome she is in fact actually doing that like it's legit. And for real and announced by ABC. Herself she got like. A. Major pay, raise I'm gonna think so yeah I mean 'cause I make some Bank to want to be on. That, panel to go into that Hornets Nassau gosh what a horrible place day Place I mean you got yourself some Megan as that's it but. That's, it that's all you got I mean? It's, pretty that's all. You got yeah you got Whoopi joy and sunny another, one am I. Forgetting well not now That's, it okay you got what, be Joyce? So, there's always five there's always five okay all right Sunday she replaced. The you, know the. Other check whose name. How, horrible yeah I'd rather get a. Pap smear on a root? Canal, every day To be on that show that's some serious hey right there Yeah I wouldn't want to be. On that, show I don't, know about the daily root canal I mean every single day what a horrible place. To be must she's doing it and more power to her and I hope she is a voice on the show because what we don't need is just her sitting back and like being, meek and not talk who hates this is joy and Whoopi but the reason that they did this is. Because the ratings. Are, so good Megan and, so you know somebody at ABC was like we gotta add more conservative voices because. We're kicking but right now because maybe there'll be more fight the fights or the drama and the drama or the ratings and that adds up to money yeah so that's why Abby going, I think it starts next week is it I think it starts next week Season of it it's going to be fantastic. Next, Tuesday I believe yeah she'll do great yeah I hope so I. Mean again I I never watched her on, FOX. And. Friends weekend, so I don't know. How you don't know. Her personality to know whether. Or not she's going, to be real you know she's going to be a forceful voice or if. She's someone who thinks she's like combative or meaner yeah I just think this she's going to be able to hold around I kind of want. Somebody. Combative and mean yeah yeah, I mean I hope she is. I hope? She's strong that's what I'm hoping It's the Ninety-three WIBC, mash. Up. Steering learning, about history ninety two. Columbus sailed.

"Got to checks Because she's apparently gravely ill and that makes. Us sound everybody pray for her Let's talk about what's going to happen on the view it's going to be good time, when it's going to be if you were a FOX and friends weekend. Fan then you may have seen Abby Huntsman give, her goodbyes, this past weekend she is leaving FOX and friends and. FOX altogether in fact and she didn't. Mention, the view on FOX. And friends she spending more time with her family however it's pretty much officials she is joining the view and she is finally going to be some like. Her and Meghan McCain are going to balance out those other crazy hag? 's, haven't you spend more time with your family and go to the view yeah Well I suppose the view is what two hours as a two hours at one hour I don't even know it is two hours so it's like less time on and then? You Weekends, there's five women. And then, it's basically you just fight with people that's basically what you're doing and listen I. You're right, it's it's her and Megan they're both from. Political families yeah which is nice I mean she has a. Lot in common. With Megan and, what he's head is gonna explode I'm like I bet you the, that she enjoy both they probably. Didn't have a lot, to, do with this decision I bet you I don't know I'm I'm. Speaking, just based on my this is my, opinion, here but I bet you the neck the network was. Like, listen our ratings are awesome right now because their way better with Meghan yeah and. I bet you they were like okay so, let's add a little bit more. Conservatism in here They'll be more. Fights and working are watching with Megan, I, mean you, there's something there and I. Think more people watch because. They're, looking for the. Drama there, waiting for the fights right well I love that I like it better just because. I I, mean I I will watch more clips just. Because Megan is on it because I am conservative and I. Don't I don't. Care about that, show it's just all liberal right down I mean there's just nothing, for me to watch yeah but. If I can see, a, little bit of a balance then I'm like okay well this is. Somewhat, interesting because at least I'm going to, see, a conservative angle here otherwise it's just more MSNBC crap Yeah. But, it's the disagreements that make it interesting yeah right I. Mean it's, the it's the fact that there's an opposing view this loud and proud I wanna see I wanna. See, I mean if? They're gonna talk about stuff that's happening, like? News, of. The day, I wanna see okay here's a, little bit of if you're. Going to Spar let's let's see let's yeah let's. Have both sides I don't want to see, what be telling me what's right and it's weird because, I had thought and. Again I, could be completely wrong about this I don't, know how the internals of the view work but I thought, that she'd been there long enough that she had some. Executive producer sort, of credits yeah and that she would be involved in decisions like this so honestly I wouldn't be surprised if. She. Okayed, it knowing just. How good the ratings have been with, Megan yeah, so, who knows but she wants to keep your job right yeah exactly I mean they want the show. To continue so it's gonna be. Interesting I don't know a date. That that, is starting I think contracts don't need. To, be signed but that I mean from all reports that I've seen that's where, she's, going, I mean I think at the beginning of the show it used to be more. Balanced, like that because the whole Premise of the. Show, was it's the? View right it's all different viewpoints and, then? It'd, be. Because that's, when they first started that's how, I remember like Debbie Matt. Nobelists was on the show it was like there. Was a young person's viewpoint and older women, and like they had ever there's like a whole different, bunch of eyeballs you. Know looking, at things and then it became like this, liberal cesspool yeah and and I was like I'm so bored Yeah just. Didn't get Gresley it's nice that they're they're coming back to a different place you know, it's like I guess, I don't wanna say original place because it is different. Than what, it was when, it started but at least it's it's. A little more balanced and that's good. So this now instead of one. Against four it'll be two against three against three exactly so I'm, gonna? I'm gonna enjoy watching. I think it'd be interesting extremely interesting last week big. The big news of last week, was Alex Jones is his all. Of his social media not all of it but a lot of social media kind of being. Gone I mean he got suspended got suspended, from all, kinds of things Facebook took down four of his pages he. Got, shut down on YouTube there's, just a lot That all of this stuff was removed, except for his website and except for Twitter account and. In, fact it's skyrocketing in. Terms of number of, followers now but Twitter also over the. Weekend suspended? Crtv Gavin, McInnis which that's another huge huge development in terms of accounts being suspended that are conservative accounts Gavin used, to be with rebel he may still have his videos on rebel. And now he and a lot of accounts, that he has been involved with in. Terms. Of his organization. Called proud boys which. Is a right wing group. And they. Have several different. Accounts on Twitter like a lot there's the different chapters of it like all the different, states have always Vermont, Ohio and California Illinois and all like yeah but they're. They're gone, they're gone are, they saying why are they saying they're. Saying because of its violent extremist groups. They're violating the pa- the Twitter. Policy on violent extreme Myst- group I don't. Get that I just look? What why I've never. I've never, looked at the proud boys Twitter accounts in fact I didn't even know that that. Was the thing that. Gavin McGuinness was involved, with I like. His Twitter I like him too and he's hilarious. And, a lot of people, don't get his satire he's he is so funny but he's a master. At, it and. He's he's interviewed one of articulate yeah. That's right, he had hand on his head indeed, but yeah and he responded to all this saying, all this stuff is part of the conservative purge getting the right off social. Media to try and stop Trump from. Getting reelected he's already won that ship has sailed I think it will have zero effect on my reach. Or on the proud boys will always, come back he's also saying that he may sue, which I don't know how that will turn. Out but that's another thing that's in, the works and he's right because in the meantime all of these bands are not in fact hurting Alex Jones and info wars at all searches for. That site and hits. To that site are skyrocketing Twitter.

And then Abby Huntsman I like how it works with. Like Megan gets feisty, I like Megan McCain. Some of our ideas, I don't agree with but at least she's spunky and I like her with with Whoopi and joy Behar when they go out and, it's kind of, fun the sunny host and she's, very pleasant and beautiful but I. Think they need another this woman. Is from Fox News I'm assuming Abby Huntsman I'm assuming she's conservative. Is so they'll need that's good because sometimes. It's, a little one-sided yeah you don't want it to be on one or five hundred zero now so that maybe she'll balance it, out a little bit but it's nice to have all the. Different views on the that's why they. Call it the view that's how many people. Have they gone through they've gone. Through a. Like twenty it's crazy they need to settle down. Picked, people and. Stick Not going to happen with it. What are you doing. Here's what they need. Walter yes Barbara there, you had someone that was in charge now it's being run by committee Barbara Walters was and is the gold standard of of woman, women and journalists, Bill Getty to Bill Getty yeah, absolutely a New York Senator is. Calling for MGM to drop its. Lawsuit against the Las Vegas mass shooting victims if it wants to. Buy Yonkers casino is this this is gonna. Hurt, MGM people renting them because they're suing now I I am very upset at the MGM it's obviously horrible publicity unless they invited, us to go spend a weekend and then I would think. About getting over my anger to go. And do the show from their possibly but. I do feel sorry for them. Because they. Had nothing to do with this nut shooting up The victim but they're gonna get sued themselves because they're gonna make the argument. Oh well you should've had TSA type of security screening at the front of your hotel does yeah Thanks if you're the hotel eleven no, one thought it, was the impossible right flying, a plane into building so this is the. First so maybe they will have all those metal protectors, and all of that detectors rather I don't know but to sue. The, victims, I don't think that's a good move publicity-wise it's not going to help their business? And Be the first. And suck it up would the Mandalay bay was built there was no outdoor concert, venue across the, street right when the architects, were were coming up with with the security. And all of that for the Mandalay bay They never anticipated that some nut would shoot into a concert venue at a space that didn't exist at the time that's exactly right but. That's not gonna stop them from suing them and. Look I understand why if you're. A, victim you go after the. Group with. The big pockets because Stephen. Paddock is dead and the apparently he lost a lot of his money? Gambling so there's. Not a lot. To go for there so? You, go for the MGM. Yeah, but. It's not their fault it's not it's absolutely not their fault but again? Is the right thing is the correct reaction to sue back I don't know I don't know I would you say there yeah he did say that oh yeah What am I asking. Of, course You there A month ago and I got the edge Go back I'll be going back this weekend do you think Lady luck Larry two-night Americans would. Rather talk, about anything, other than how much money they make even politics of course only about one in ten Americans would feel comfortable. Talking about, how much they they make it a dinner party in, fact, people, would, rather discuss, just about any, other hot, button topic romance religion medical conditions or even politics even politics even politics, at about two. Thirds of those rather talk about. Space force then The aliens are coming Lawrence Yvonne was here earlier talking about the same thing. With Dr, drew and, she said in New York everyone knows everyone so their business so if you bought an apartment in New York. And I, think I'm a little guilty of this because my friend, just, bought, a, condo in, New York and, I'm from, TV and I'm like what that's what how much that set you back Clark You. Know like. I don't I don't because I'm. Like oh I bought my house for this and now. It's triple this and I I don't think about but. I don't talk. About my salary they she said everybody, in New York says would you pay for that so what you did, they bump you up at work, are you good are you and. They ask salaries I don't ask that well it's, some shops you can't you're in violation of the contract if you talk about how much money you make, sure I didn't know that and I've, worked? In five shops that's very interesting so you wanna It's? An unwritten rule that nobody talks, about if you want, to, trick on how. To figure. Out how much someone paid for. Their house without having to ask them oh just get. The address plug it into Google Zillow what tell you. How much they. Paid for it Big closed escrow always. Do that oh my God that is so pitchy It's great Also show you the estimate of what? It's, worth yes. I did I. Saw, that yeah That's. Also, information I'm. Interested in you, know Many moons. Ago the LA times did a story on, I don't know why k-tvhe, was centered out but the on. My God the LA times loved to do they did. A lot of really positive stories on me and then a couple writers out of bug, up their, ass about me and they just you know. We're, always trying to find a good angle anyway they did this story that the men at FOX, on average earn double. "That it was hate speech you heard about this facebook claimed that a part of the declarations hate speech and they and they they removed it now they've since put it back and apologized having been told that they were wrong in determining what they thought was hate speech and we'll get to that here in just a second but but hegseth is right here patriotism should unite us but it doesn't it doesn't and let's folks there are plenty of people in this country today who don't like america you know this you don't even need me to tell you this they don't like america away it was founded they don't like to america the way it is and they are certainly trying to transform it back now to abby huntsman following hegseth it's been such a divisive and hateful time and you think we here the fourth of july above everything else we are all americans and how often we forget that right we are all here fighting for the same cost right fighting for our freedom sell that is what we need to celebrate today and as rush limbaugh said don't be ashamed but out those american flag beginning to worry that she didn't get it but she did abby huntsman got it don't be afraid to be american but look this idea that we're all unified on independence day and we're all patriotic and they were all fighting for the same we are not we are not fighting for the same causes by any stretch of the imagination we are hipdeep some people already think that we're in a version of a civil war now i wouldn't go so far to say that but i'm just telling you some people do but we're all not fighting for the same cause we are fighting for many different causes and we're up against a group of people that really don't think our way of thinking should be tolerated and it should not have a place the freedom we're up against a bunch of stalinists and fascists fox that's why the battle is so paramount epoch and it is important be right back rush limbaugh because we know for you only the best will do on the network.
