"abbot" Discussed on Conspiracy Theories

"Heist, abbot had put in his two weeks notice. It seems pretty likely then that his abbot did his rounds on the night of March 17th, he wasn't thinking much about doing the most thorough watch possible. Instead, his mind was on the Grateful Dead concert, he was attending the next day. He couldn't wait for his shift to end. Perhaps, as a result of that, Abby grew a little careless, which is problematic because his actions that night have raised real suspicions about his involvement. At around 1 a.m. on the night of the heist, abbot opened one of the museum's side doors and peered outside. This was totally against security protocol, unless extreme circumstances left them no other choice, guards weren't supposed to open the doors after hours for any reason. However, when questioned about it later, Abbott claimed that he checked the doors every night because he wanted to make sure they were locked. But that explanation doesn't make sense. The doors locked automatically and the only way to unlock them was from the inside, either electronically from the security desk or manually, which is exactly what abbot did. Plus, if anyone opened a door after hours, a computer registered the event and printed out a report, which the security supervisor checked every day. So if abbath had been opening the doors every night, someone likely would have noticed. Other people have also pointed out that Abbott's poor decision making was awfully convenient. 20 minutes after he opened the door, the thieves showed up. While it's possible that abbot was just checking the doors locks, this seems very suspicious. Many think it was a signal to the thieves, who were parked in a car across the street. It's also worth pointing out that once the two thieves disguised as police officers appeared at the side door of the building, abbot ignored everything.

Santa speaking talking about The strength of florida funny concept floridians. Believe insecure borders as governor. Fantasy pointed out much to the delight of the crowd who came out to the bring small businesses back tour. We believe in secure borders in florida on that. Our country's sovereign and that the borders matter we ban sanctuary cities in the state of florida my first year in office when we started to see the massive surge in texas and governor abbot states. To help we were the first state to send people to help on the southern border and we are proud of that mission. We're also. The state of florida is suing biden over his policy of releasing criminal. Aliens back into our community doesn't like florida because he knows that we show. His policies are failure with respect to the border. And it's getting worse and worse every day with what's going on down there and the fact of the matter is he is created this problem. This is intentional and this is very damaging to our country so we stand opposed to joe biden on that and we think he's failing the country and we think quite frankly probably the worst performance of a first nine months of any president in my lifetime. I can tell you that it is absolutely intentional. He's so right about that. There's no way they're incompetent.

"Is betty lou in south texas. I'm a third generation texan Thank you for all you're doing. I am disgusted by the deplorable hans. Fly of illegal immigration into our mighty state and wants to great one nation under god. I'd like to hear more about governor abbott and other governors. What are they doing to forestall this horrible mind stress on fly. Thank you take care. God bless god. Bless thank you betty lou. She makes a great point. It's a great question. In fact tucker. Carlson asked that question last night and has apparently repeatedly invited governor abbott on his show. Evidently governor abbott has declined because tucker keeps asking the texas governor. Why are you not deploying the texas national guard. Why are you standing up to the incompetent. Inept utterly failed biden harris administration on this issue. Here's a. Tucker carlson said last night we opened the show with horrifying pictures. What's happened at our southern border. Which is completely open in. This country is being invaded. No that's not an overstatement more than a million people this year expected by the rest of the world. It's been going on for months. And we've asked texas governor greg abbott many times to come on this show to explain why he hasn't called the national guard to seal the texas border and protect the rest of us from this invasion. Greg abbott has refused to come on repeatedly so pretty soon possibly tomorrow we plan to invite his primary opponents on this show to describe what they would do if they ran texas. That might be an interesting conversation. Governor abbot one. More chance to come on sincerely. Please come on and tell us how you plan to save the rest of us. What is happening in your state. Isn't that a reasonable request. What is what is texas gonna do texas it roll over. I lived there. I love that state. I know the texas spirit. It's not acquiescence

The Real Reason Your Kids Are Being Forced to Wear Masks

"Good morning charlie. My kids attend school in san antonio in northside. Isd and they are deliberately disobeying. The supreme court ruling of abiding by governor abbots executive order banning mask mandates. My highschool daughter stood her ground and refuse to wear a mask. Today she has had eight asthma attacks this week. The principal told her that. I will need her to wear her mask or leave campus. I asked how nasd things. They have the legal authority to enforce masks and he said he didn't have an answer for that. Of course not. He repeated himself about masking or leaving campus and not being able to attend classes so evil. My daughter choose chose to stand her ground. We left my question is what can we do here. In texas of reached out to the governor's office the attorney general the superintendent. And nothing's happening. This has to end. Thank you. I love your show amber. Thank you the reason why your daughter is being forced to wear masks regardless of what the texas legislature has passed and governor grab greg. Abbott has signed into law is because leftists democrats and liberals that run these schools. They are not afraid of the consequence. They're not afraid of the potential penalty. That will come down if they violate the law. That republicans pass we're experiencing this right now. In scottsdale i gave my speech at the scottsdale unified school district. A couple of days ago. Where i told the scottsdale unified school district. They are breaking arizona. Law by mandating masks on children. Despite governor doug ducey is signed into law and they basically shrug it off and i say delta variant we can do whatever we want so amber. Let me connect to things for you. The reason why the head of the san antonio school district thinks can they can do whatever they want is because when they see democrats flee the state of texas to try to block quorum and no one gets arrested. It plays into the narrative that the regime of the media will protect you if you rebel against republicans but if republicans rebel against democrats they will crush

"What attracted you to the idea of habits. Why did it resonate with your audience. Well they're probably multiple reasons. I mean one thing is you're building habits whether you're thinking about them or not. Garrett body is doing brain is doing all the time to get through life and pattern matching into just live more efficiently depending on which study you look at somewhere between forty to fifty percent of. Your behaviors are automatic and habitual. But that's usually referencing just stuff that like you think about like Brushing her teeth. You're tying your shoes or pulling your phone out of your pocket to check it. And i think the true influence your assets even greater than that you know who knows what the number is. seventy eighty. Ninety percent of your behaviors are either habitual or influenced strongly by your habits. So take for example. Checking your phone. I mean you could be standing in line at the grocery store. Just you know waiting for something of an extra peanut three minutes and you just kind of out of habit. Pull your phone out. Will you may think carefully about responding to that. Email that you're reading or you know a whatever you're reading on social media or playing video game but that menu of options the behavior that you're following was all shaped by the habitable your phone out so the our habits have a very strong influence on our lives and they. They're very wide reaching their impact and in a sense. You know what many of us most of us want is some form of results in life and almost all of your results are downstream from your habits. So you know pretty much. Every outcome you have is a lagging measure of the habits that preceded so your weight's lag measure of your nutrition habits. Your bank account is a lagging measure of your financial habits. Your knowledge is lagging measure of your reading and learning habits. Even little stuff like the clutter on your desk or you know in your living room is a lagging measure cleaning habits so given that were building habits already. And they're going to be part of your life whether you think about them and given that the results that we all say we care so badly about s- Are strongly influenced by your habits. Adding it makes sense to dive into the more deeply and understand how they work so that you can be the architect of your abbots not the victim of

"You just tell us a little bit about the project and what. That's all about also do you pronounce trans-hub project or trans halacha project pronunciation question cellini. We get their abbot. Even before we jump in on what the project is maybe will it. Just define our terms here right. Maybe we'll just define trans and then we'll pass it over to laney to pronounce undefined For us so what does it mean that. This is a trans project. Had we define trans for ourselves. And i think this is a definition to that one can use in the wider world right. Where trans or transgender is used as an umbrella term for anyone who knows themselves to be a gender that's different than the gender. They were assigned at birth. Folks may be like gender assigned at birth. What does that mean. is this a thing. We still do our world and of course it is right like people give birth. We look at the baby's we look at their genitalia. And we say it's a boy it's a girl and assign a particular gender based on those primary sex characteristics and then we started a forest fire. That's right and then we start a forest fire on. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott baselessly claims herd immunity

Since last summer. Speaking on fox news sunday abbott pointed to the more than seventy percent of seniors and more than half of people age fifty to sixty five in texas. That have gotten at least one vaccine dose. I don't know what herd immunity is but when you add that to the people who have acquired immunity. It looks like it could be very close to her to be unity. Herd immunity is a point when most of the population is either vaccinated or has natural immunity after getting the virus for covid. It's thought to be when around. Seventy percent of people are immune. some health. Experts are disputing abbots claim while some high risk groups have been widely vaccinated. Only about twenty percent of the state's overall population has been and new variants of the virus. Already spreading could send case numbers back up in the coming

He's serious about right now but maybe some way down the like. Here's a direct quote. He said look. Politics seems to be a broken business to me right now and when politics redefines its purpose i could be a hell of a lot more interested so when you hear that matthew mcconaughey is gonna run against governor abbot i. Texas governor lifts mask mandate and allows businesses to open at 100% capacity, despite health officials' warnings

"Texas Governor Greg Abbott is ending coronavirus restrictions in his state. He announced this at a restaurant in Lubbock, where he also said businesses should reopen a week from today, Quote 100%. Now this is exactly what the CDC has said not to do and these public health measures early. Sarah self Wall Brick is a senior. Order a Texas tech public media and she was there covering the announcement. Hi, Sarah. Good morning. Practically What does this mean for Texans? So governor, Abbott said that starting next week, businesses will be able to open it. Full capacity and mass will no longer be required. He says he wants businesses and other entities to make those decisions. So, for example, supermarket chain H E B has already announced that they won't require customers to wear masks in their stores. So Abbott says, people should still do. It protects them. Right eye's rescinding the statewide mandate. So here's what he had to say yesterday. Personal vigilance to follow the safe standards is still needed to contain covet. It's just that now, state mandates are no longer needed. But did he explain why now? Dad, is it just that things are looking up across Texas at least when it comes to co vid hospitalizations air down even in regions like Laredo, and I'll Passo that have seen the worst of it. Vaccinations have gotten off to a really slow start here. Texas is obviously a big populous state, but less than 7% of the population is fully vaccinated right now, which is one of the lowest percentage is in the country. So you have mixed news case is going down, but vaccinations going slowly. How are people reacting to abbots announcement? It's definitely been mixed. So based on what I've seen on social media, I think a lot of people see this is a political move, especially after the fall out of the winter storm that thousands of Texans are still dealing with. I talked with a few lobby guides after the announcement yesterday because the mask me a date wasn't well enforced anyway. Dr. Craig Ryan with Covenant Health says We're sending the mask order may not do much. And he hopes that common sense prevails. I think that the people that have grown accustomed to wearing a mask and have gotten a sense of safety and security from wearing a mask will probably continue to do exactly that. Chris Bury owns a local restaurant is president of the Loving Restaurant Association. He hopes at its announcement will lead to higher consumer confidence. If everyone feels more comfortable and getting out and going out to eat and getting back to the quote unquote normal life, that's what we're looking forward to, and that's what we anticipated. Okay, That's how many businesses I would imagine might feel, But I'm curious about medical workers. The people who work on the front lines. Did you talk to any of them? I had. So I heard from one woman in particular. Christie Ginza, Who's a nurse practitioner who's been volunteering at Love Eggs, covert vaccination hub. Have a hard time believing the governor is taking advice from medical experts. He's put in labs and our economy at risk yet

"Welcome to another episode of Pit Lane Parlay in this first part of the episode. I am joined by new Chief Operating Officer Down at Syrupy the Americas Rick Abbott Rick. Thanks for joining how you doing today. Everything's great. I'm really happy to be with you today. Yes thank you for joining me. Congrats on the new role there Everybody just a little bit of background on Rick. You've been at NBC BEFORE ESPN missy. Here I was just looking at it the PGA tour and also you were a draft. Pick a major league baseball. So you've been around the sports and entertainment world for quite a while. What originally brought you to circuiting America's a couple of years ago interesting I At my twelve years at ESPN Had worked closely with Sean Braches. Who was that F? One and Sean called me one day and said hey you know we have this great relationship down with circuit of America's with Bobby Epstein and goes. Would you be interested in talking to them and and returning back to sports? Always been something that I wanted to do while I was at. Nbc was working as the head of operations for thirty rock which was absolutely a great job and I loved it but it didn't have anything to do with the sports of NBC because that was all up in Connecticut and so it gave me an opportunity to kind of look at being back into sports and specifically into something. I really enjoy which is racing so it was a it was a good fit for me. I love it so as chief operating officer of a race track. What are your typical responsibilities on a non race weekend versus you know during a three or four day race weekend Great Question I mean. What's funny is that with our big three races with the indycar classic and Motor GP and April and then of course Formula One in October. We're really add a planning mode of doing something for big race and so if as soon as that one's over we'll immediately kinda go into planning for April motos and and indies races and everything but beyond that I mean we you know the track is running. You know every single day. You know that we're out here. W- whether if it's Mercedes or Ferrari or a you know the sec a car clubs and And or Chin or with whatever's happening out. Here you know it tracks always going so you know. The the good part is is that you know. I I'm lucky enough to have a Office that looks right down on the start. Finish line and cars are wasn't by every single day and that nothing makes me happier. I mean we have the Audi driving experience out here which is fantastic and we just added. Skip Barber with you. Know F one type cars out here so it's a it's an interesting job but on top of that as far as race is concerned. Non Racing also is that you know. We have our own professional soccer team here. The Austin bold. We just signed a deal to To have a rugby team here We have a thirteen thousand seat amphitheater that we have over thirty concerts a year with. So that's you know the likes of Maroon Five I set black Crowes Hall and oates kiss or coming so we're GONNA have a great concert season this year so Trust me I stay busy. You made me tired just just saying everything that you have to deal with. I I was talking. I was thinking. Oh my God we got a lot of planning to do but it's all good. It's all good. Yeah I I know the feeling so you know specifically with Indycar and being there for the first time last year what was your impression of the series and and competitors and what did you think of the overall your first race weekend for the INDYCAR down there. I was lucky enough to go to Indianapolis a couple of times my ESPN career had had been exposed to I M S and and the whole team down there you know prior to so I always knew that it was the first class organization and so when we announced that Indycar was coming to Austin. I was thrilled. Because you know it's an American owned you know race series and Americans love their open-wheel racing and it's something that I really enjoyed the weekend. You we have. They come down and do testing in February and they'll be down here on the tenth and eleventh of February this year and so got a chance to Kinda see them on the inside out where it's a little less formal and so get a chance to meet some of the drivers team owners and things like that and you know and they're all in on you know helping us you know sell tickets. Do Marketing you know. Be Accessible to the crowds One of the things that I don't think indycar gets enough kind of credit for is how available. They make everybody in their organization. Be to the public. They are so forward facing as it relates to you know to allowing people to get as close as possible within safety limits of course of the actual race cars in the race teams and. I think is fantastic that you can you know. Buy Tickets and come down and be in the paddock. You know and and be looking. Right into the garages. And it's it's an exciting time for us and we love having any car here. I hope that sold some extra pit and paddock passes for the INDYCAR weekend. Because you're a hundred percent right. It's just so awesome to be down walking around with all the fans and seeing kids take pictures with their favorite drivers within minutes of the race about to start or the national anthem about to start such a cool experience. I remember Coda last year. I had my wife with me for the weekend at that race. And we were standing next to one of the cars in all the signs that were being held next to the car were being held. By the Little Usak drivers for the USA quarter midgets that were racing that weekend as well. I believe so. It was really cool to see that kind of mix. I think you know my first experience at Kota. Last year was amazing. I will be down for the test again next month and being there for the test is nice because it gets me out of cold. Pennsylvania for a couple of days and we will. We will welcome you. That's for sure 'cause it's one of the great things about living in Austin. First of all I gained ten pounds and my first two months being here because of all the barbecue so and then going to music and everything we do around that But it's I love Austin. The weather here is so temperate. Sure it gets hot during some of the summer months. But you know that's a little price to pay for the rest of the season just being absolutely wonderful. I'm looking out my window right now. You know it's mid sixties and not a cloud in the sky and so it's awesome just a wonderful city. See now you're just bragging because it's about twenty degrees here. I have to admit there is a little bragging going on. I get it. That's fair I I would do the same thing if I were you Having your office right over the start finish line is probably an amazing view so going forward as as chief operating officer. Is there anything you want to adapt? Or maybe add into circuit. America's weather be more entertainment around the track or another race series. Coming anything along those lines I think is doing a reset your track this year of not mistaken without looking at up to we have the world endurance challenged The weekend of the Twenty First Twenty second and twenty third here That's GonNa be great so we were just meeting with the The ownership groups with them. And so that's going to be a lot of fun And then other things that I would like to do is we have. We have an unbelievable karting track here and doing more for the fans that then just to be non-participants. We want them to be more participatory in what they do here. So you know we're We're GONNA have some fun. We have fun already with the karting track. We're building out some other amenities that I can't quite talk about quite yet. Because we're we're in the planning stage but it's GONNA BE EXCITING. Coming to code is going to be much more than just kind of walking around and watching other people drive but we'll have plenty of opportunity to do the same thing or Audi driving. School has been fantastic. People will get a chance to drive the track You know that the that the INDYCAR and the and the and the F one drivers drive in you know to get out on code is track gives you a different appreciation to watch the race. About how difficult it is Because you know coming off turn one going straight up and then of a sudden you're into a bunch of banks turns and it's exciting. The first time I you know hop behind the wheel of car and got in on it I was pleasantly surprised how difficult it is because I think that as a total amateur driver I really get the appreciation for the guys that get behind the wheel and do this for a living. Yeah very well said I did not get to experience that at Kona but being Oh Mon Mike. We're going to get you in a car. So try you. What's talk when you get down here and I'm GonNa get you behind the wheel? I love it I I am honored to even even have that chance. You know talking to you right now so I appreciate it and I'll be sure to be reaching out when when I arrived down in in early February so I'll wrap it up with one final question here. And and let you get about your. You're probably a very busy day. You mentioned that you grew up a racing fan so who are some of your favorite drivers our favorite races and series and whatnot. Growing up as a as a kid and young adult. I can you not be a fan of Mirai. Mario Andretti. I mean the guy did it all As far as you know following you know the American series but I have to tell you though I grew up and then especially as I started getting into my adult years I was at Ayrton. Senna Fan I he drove. He brought me into Formula. One his style. You know the the passion behind the Brazilians behind him obviously When he died it was devastating for the entire sport of car racing for auto racing but especially for those of us that were found to be big fans of his. You know it's it's an interesting thing that when I was at ESPN and you know. I worked on the NASCAR circuit when it came back to us And I really enjoy any type of car racing. But there's something about open-wheel racing that just as different and I really really enjoy the tax. The the the technical aspect of how they do their jobs. And it's It's fun so I get to be a little bit of a kid in the candy store here when you know those racist. Come to town yeah. That's that's great story Obviously growing up in Pennsylvania grew up. A Mario Andretti fan myself was cool to see him at one of the Barbecue places in Austin last year. Forget exactly where we are. But Anyway Rick thank you very much for a couple of minutes. Today I look forward to being down at the track in February and then again in April. You guys have been absolutely amazing facility there. Thank you very much for the time today. Courts Mike Anytime you WANNA to come and get behind the wheel. I'm GonNa make it happen for you. Thank you very much..

Even the manager service said it happened to him one time as a catcher, you're thinking it's going to be a double play, but you have to stand at your base, until the guy throws it there. Hopefully there's a catcher tonight for Andrew Morton throw too. When he takes the mound at seven ten against the Astros after picking a lot of college pitchers. The Mariners drafted a third baseman today, Austin Shenton he's from Bellingham. He had to stop at Bellevue, college, Florida international. "Control that will include non discrimination ordinances. You know, you see Republicans a little less harsh toward gay marriage. Almost pro marijuana in some cases, Texas drifting that direction willing to welcome conservative Muslims as allies particularly social conservatives. Yeah. And just willing to at least talk carefully governor abbots always talked carefully about Mexico in the border. So you can see that the that the Republican party wants to keep winning in in order to keep winning. They have to have forty percent of the of the fact vote, and they have to eliminate all the the disqualifications. It's kind of like a a fella going on a date with somebody. Who's a really great girl? You know, you you don't want to be disqualified on the first date you want to at least, listen and pay attention and just don't. Say anything on the first few days, if you can go out on three or four dates and still not get disqualified that chance the Republicans are trying to get rid of everything that makes them sound bigoted or makes them sound discriminatory. And it's part of the constitution. It's part of the state rolls. They that they are the the party of religious liberty. They can't go to Austin and talk about the religious freedom restoration act and restoring religious freedom if they don't seem to hold religious freedom. Yeah. So the they're trying to be sure that the parties open every this is we talk about fourth is the west begins, and this is kind of where the west Texas mentality that you about begins because you know, you go over east to plano, and you have the suburban districts, but Charlie guarantees work in Tarrant county for public schools is you know, what Charlie Aaron does here for and castleberry and for the for the public schools in his district dist- is caught aware that spirit begins of, you know, west Tex. Up holding the need for strong public school. But Kennedy at bud Kennedy on Twitter when it take you come. I know that we've spent more time than we expected to spend with you. But it's all been riveting. Appreciate you so many people asking me about that. I can just refer them to this podcast. Now a couple of things that you see emerging in this legislature head the inaugural today. A winter couple takeaways that you have going into the next one hundred thirty days. Yeah. Everybody's talking about getting things done quickly. And particularly it was interesting to hear the emphasis again today on fixing public schools. You know, some of the backdrop on that that that some legislator told me some lawmakers have said there were that next session, they'll be focused on redistricting session after that that make up the legislature may have changed. So the Republicans particularly in the house believe that this is the last chance to spend. The session fixing public school funding and doing something for public schools. It's always gonna be the the scales of Ardy focus more on public schools or more on limiting taxes. And I'm worried that those two are gonna get combined into one and that the focus is going to be more on limiting taxes, but the emphasis today on public schools, particularly from governor abbot was really heartening. It sounds like that yoga Lieutenant governor Patrick presented this budget with a five thousand dollar as for teacher thrilled for teachers want to hear more about schools, and what's being done for the schools and not just to pay teachers more. That's a great first step. But the governor abbots talk about teacher talk about schools seems to be sincere at I think that that's what he in the house wanna focus on. And I think that Lieutenant governor Patrick has his own ideas. Okay. In another thing you see sticking out. Well, I I mentioned the bath. Through mail, and we won't have a bathroom Bill, but we will have a couple of other very similar bills come up, and they're like, I say that the just the whole tamp down a local control and.

So I am very much involved in every little atom of what makes a film film. Unfortunately what I discovered in. My case is that when you get so technical in detail, as I do, you serve lose, the essence and the magic, and you lose oversight of just enjoying film for what it is.
