"Of course, Doug Hopkins, ladies and gentlemen, hold on. I gotta eat your microphone up. I always screw that up. I don't want to have it. Got you forgot to to have my headphones. All right. So I want to say, thanks. We had a lot of fun over the last couple of weeks here on doing Christmas party stuff. Like that. You just reminded me of something. I started cut you off. But you just run something. We had our Christmas party over the keg in Chandler. And there was like forty of us over there, and they have a private room in the back. And I just wanted to give a shout out to the keg because that their service the food everything was spot on it couldn't have been better. We had a bunch of people there the food came out on we it was the food was fantastic. And the prices were great. We had a fixed menu. If you have a party at your you're planning on going to a with about anywhere between twenty five and forty people. I can't recommend the keg enough. He was really really awesome. They did a fantastic job and a shoutout to the to the especially the trailer branch over their gender restaurant because it really made our. A Christmas party all that all that much better who they were on top of that was awesome. What did you guys know? I loved it. You're right. And in the room was perfect in that, you know, you could still get up and mingle, you know, it's not like you were all stuffed in food was phenomenal and not one but two lobster tails and a steak. I thought I'd died and gone. I was one of the options. You know, it was it was just really really good. The food was fantastic people were fantastic. And and the the company and the party was fantastic shows. It was just great great all round. So little shoutout to the character for sure it. I wanted to say thanks to you because you've put that all together. And I gotta tell you. It was really awesome Ashton. I give her all the credit. All right. She actually took care of it. She got a couple of what do they call those dirty Shirley's? I think they said so. Those are pretty good, man. I used to love as a kid I used to love those Shirley temple Shirley temple Jose, say plenty marriage. Doug had an interesting childhood. We'd go to. When I was when I was a little kid. We'd go to all the jet jet home games. I lived in New York and my dad had season tickets the jets, and we go to all the jets games and afterwards, they had a place called the diamond club where the players would come up and this was in the early eighties or whatnot. And in the players would actually come up and Mingo because the people that were the bar would buy them drinks early making like thirty forty grand. Multimillion dollar contracts and whatnot. So I got to meet a lot of the players up there after the after the games, and so you'd have Abbas beard, and I'd have my Shirley temple. I couldn't wait to go up there. And see what players. I was gonna meet that day and drink my, Shirley. Temple was awesome. That's a great memory, right? There and needless to say that is what made you a lifelong jets fan and why you lose money on Sundays. Yeah. And all. God has a plan for me. I'm pretty sure because you know, he's cursed me by two teams that I liked and the the New York Jets and the Arizona Cardinals by two favorite football teams in the world. You couldn't pick worse. Get you know them in my lifetime have a championship while they came close. It's you know, they were one tow away from winning that one to homes. Yeah. Catch that ball still. I'll tell you. What matters fans are gonna call. Now, there's no better site, then Larry FitzGerald running that touchdown in with two minutes left to go to take the lead in the Super Bowl. And look it up and you see in himself on the scoreboard and outrunning everybody on that team for what a sixty yard touchdown. That feeling I got was it was almost like when that happened was almost like when lose Luiz Gonzalez hit that was about to say that I was about to most awesome feelings. And then you look at the clock after he scored and go. Yup. And that's what cost us. All right. Well, we were talking about since we're working our way towards two thousand nine hundred. And you said you had some goals that you were going to try to hit a couple of New Year's resolutions. Now, we all do the classic gonna try to do my best to let go of this weight that I picked up over the winter. But what's yours for this one? You have actually dropped a little bit of a weight this in the last couple of months, I've been going to orange theory and doing that doing that thing. I'll tell you what that's a tough workout, those guys aren't joking now, that's a tough workout. So that's been that's been pretty cool though. But what I found out is it doesn't matter. How much you work out? If you're not eating, right? I think that's the truth right there. Yeah. I think it's eighty percent. What you put in your mouth and twenty percent, which you do as far as working out goes. So. I've really got to make a concerted effort to to eat better and eat right during the Dern two thousand nineteen that's one of my goals is just to be healthier. And that's when we all gotta take on as we get older nowadays. It you start thinking about that stuff in the time clock starts looking more. Like, it's right in front of you. You know? Yeah. It's true. It's true. When you're younger it, you know, your health was Nika pretty much do anything to your body, and you just bounce right back destructible not that way anymore. I'm going to give you the low peel the curtain back. Doug is coming here. Couple of times so sore. They do these things over there. You told me about endless rowing challenge. Oh, God he comes in. He's like two thousand miles of rolling. Now doings doing it. With me too. Twenty years younger than I am. He's. He's like oh give Douglas. Let's go side-by-side. It's oh, yeah. And my little power walk and whatnot huffing and puffing. And he's running at fifty miles an hour. You know, next to me on. What's the problem? I swear I'd be over there. Trying to trip him on that trip. Great dog through water bottle. Try to stand next to you know, go over there. All the other side of the room, man. Once you start out in the weight room or something like that. Well, at least you don't have any of those crazy things like next thing. You know, I was expecting to hear something like we'll have decided I'm going to sail around the world solo in a boat and all be back in thirty days or something crazy like that. Well, you know, what I did is we went and did a zig Ziglar has like a life is circle of of all the different aspects of your life and family and your physical health and work and financial goals and spiritual goals and stuff like that. So I did I'm not gonna share all. But I did I sat down and did all those for my whole life and all aspects of my life and actually what got an accountability partner. So that we're going to sit down every week. And and go over what you know, what tasks were going to do for the week and. And we have to come in. And and prove that what we did. And and so I think that'll help to somebody here at work, and we're going to sit down and go over that. And I'm going to be her accountability partner, and she's going to be accountable to me, and we'll have rewards and or punishments. If you don't do back you see. Is this accountability partner somebody that you are currently pursuing? No. I just heard about punishments and. Dylan's got leather bondage. Alright, joanne. I want to tell us your body. I was gonna say you're going to Lynch be if I don't. Let's bring that up again. So I was talking to a lot of folks we were looking at going up north and stuff like that. And I was actually talking to you. I was out in flagstaff looking around. And I started thinking, you know, what would be awesome is if I bought a spot up here. So I could come up here. Then of course, my wife slapped me and said, let's put you back into reality. We don't have time with two kids to go up. So I said, no. But I gotta figure that a lot of folks say, yes and buy a property up north hasn't got up there and had a lot of fun. I've got a place up in pace. And I bought it. Over little over fifteen years ago. It's gone way up in value. It's great. It's a little property and pace right on the river out there. And I got it for a song and. It's a great place to go, man..
