Are the Packers Preparing for Life After Aaron Rodgers?
"Take a listen to our friend. Chris canty who was on keyshawn. Jay will zubin. The packers are telling you that prepares you for life. After aaron rodgers one front last season was with the personnel. This front. This offseason is with the financial house and making sure that they can have aaron rodgers on a year to year proposition rather than committing cab dollars and resources to in future years so i think that this is mark murphy in his roundabout way of saying. We're getting ready for life after aaron rodgers. We don't know exactly when that is because we gave him that contract in two thousand eighteen. We're going to be the ones to determine when exactly that happens. Not the player you heard them. The packers are preparing for life after aaron rodgers. No doubt obviously. They drafted now first of all that they really liked to take jordan. Love means that they didn't decide this year. We're going to take a quarterback they. They decided within like a two to three year window. Probably when we see a quarterback. We think we will be great. We're going to grab him and that we could actually get in the draft because they usually have a good record and jordan love they grabbed. They think he's going to be the next great one. When you look at the packers time between store and brett farve but you know as pretty you know breakfast starring brett farve and then during brett forbes rain they draft aaron rogers and rogers even better than fourth. Now they have gordon love. They're preparing for life after aaron rodgers. The thing is what tom brady just showed you. Is these dudes playing to their mid forties nowadays early mid forties. Who knows how much time. Rogers has
Rams superstar Aaron Donald upset at end of playoff loss
"The packers thirty two eighteen on saturday and heading into the weekend lindsay. You wrote that you were really excited to see this. Coaching matchup between matlock floor. And sean mcvay. What stood out to you in the battle of the minds here. Yeah i mean because these are two guys who know each other so well and you know. They're very much part of the same coaching tree. They both worked under kyle shanahan about the flora then works Under sean mcvay. So they have very similar offensive philosophies but that was just a game that was full of really interesting. Coaching matchups mallon floor wine. That batch up by far the packers had the better game plan. They were the better team better coach. All of this and sure aaron. Donald was not at full strength. You could tell that. He was very clearly hampered by the rib injury that he suffered during the wild card round but it was just a very impressive performance overall by aaron rodgers and certainly by matt leflore and that entire coaching staff the packers put up four hundred and eighty four yards of total offense against basically the best defense in the league. talked about aaron donald. Who's just a generational talent. Not being at full strength. But how is this packers offense. So effective saturday night. We'll everything they do. Obviously starts with aaron rodgers. Who just seem to have this innate mastery of what was coming and it kind of went viral on twitter a little bit because so many of fox's camera angles shown face on with aaron rodgers where you could see the moment that he realized what was coming that he was able to diagnose the coverage and dictate the play based on what was coming and the offensive line played really well protecting aaron rogers. He was barely touched. I'm not sure if his jersey had a single grass stain on after the game. And you know when you're not getting pressure on a quarterback and you're running the ball really well and you have davante adams who's one of the best wide receivers and football. It really wasn't even a close match up. And you know. I know a lot of people in green bay throughout packers land. Were wondering this is the best defense in football and it has to make you wonder. If that's the way that the packers aaron rodgers played against supposedly the best defense in football. What are they going to do for the rest of the

He was efficient. He threw 437 yards and the loan Washington touchdown. He notched a one or 2.3 passer rating and also rushed for 22 yards on three attempts. How did you feel out there? Taylor felt great. You know again. I've been training ever since. You know, Quarantine or covert hit was with the XFL in ST Louis and know we were having a good year and then Um, you know, covert happened and and I was back home training never sent. So, um, I was prepared for this moment, and you know, it's fortunate that I happened. It probably should have happened sooner. Dwayne Haskins had a putrid 8.3 passer rating in the first half and committed three of the teams. Four turnovers. Why not pull him earlier? Coach Ron Rivera. Remember last week we came out of halftime. We move the ball put ourselves in position to score. That's why I did what I did. Okay. Okay, coach. Okay. "Have a harder time aligning its he's come out and you just play faster than everybody else and I talked to some people who had expected that to be sort of a large. Portion of of the season this year and we're just not seeing it. I. Was I was really surprised. Let's. Let's go down to Carolina where the bears moved to five and one look. This offense is bad and will probably say that all year would probably say, say that in the lead up super bowl fifty, five and Post Games Super Bowl fifty, five nick foles is a lifting lombardi trophy again but defensively the difference between twenty, eighteen and twenty nineteen for this defense was the fact that they took the ball away a ton in two, thousand eighteen they didn't take the ball away much in twenty nineteen They really hadn't take the ball away much this season so that made it even more of. Let's call it unusual. Some might say absurdly fluky that there were foreign one coming in this game but this game was different. They had three takeaways. To them were interceptions. One of them was kind of a more giveaway by Mike Davis who seemingly just forgot he was carrying football in the open field but. They get three takeaways. They get four sacks if the defense does this then yes. It makes sense that they are going to win a lot of games in spite of the fact that the offense is is. I don't WanNa say League worse because the jets are still out there but certainly bottom five in the NFL give me your bottom three right now. It has to be the jets. As the worse. The giant the giants are doing offensively puts them in the bonfire I liked Daniel Jones. I really do think Daniel is going to work in a long term. It's just it's It's it's an offense that doesn't really provide many answers for him and so yeah, I guess in that way I I would put giants down there. is anyone else worse than the bears besides those two New York teams though Who am I forget forgetting someone? Obvious. I think the Jaguars are better offensively than a certain more enjoyable to watch. Yeah I'M GONNA put them at thirty in my offense of power rankings. Yeah. But you know your point your point is valid i. mean I like the fact that there are tough. I mean you know this is like this is such a ridiculous dusty old platitude but they are tough I mean this this team is good. You know. With Joe Judge. It's Dave gettleman problem. I think everybody can recognize that right there are talent deficiencies throughout the roster and they're just getting beat because they're not good enough you know and it's not because they aren't fired up to play. It's not because they're not technically sound you know any of that kind of stuff. It's just right now they're losing games because. Other teams have better players but this was one of those games where everything Kinda just you know came together and defensively some of that stuff that..

"Are The Sunday night game night game coming deep into the show here I feel like we've really offended the forty niners in rams at this point but this game was a bit of I don't want to call the Duh. A forty niners fan it was incredibly encouraging not only because you win the game in which our home underdog but they finally just Kinda did what they want to do offensively in the first half of the game which I I can't remember the last time we said that about this team they went and they just they they held on the ball they they had sustained drives, Kyle Shanahan Dialup, basically two routes that were not thrown behind the line to dig routes off of play action, and they both worked beautifully and Jimmy Garoppolo made throws and other than that. There guys just you know they got. The ball into the hands of whether it was remo stirred or deebo Samuel or Or George Kill the got into their hands early and they just broke tackles and they just kept the ball away from the Rams Brandon I you to getting getting involved here over the last few weeks, which was inevitable when I released him from my fantasy team but you know I I think that they benefited. This was one of these games were Jimmy Garoppolo did throw some bad passes like pick six worthy passes that were not taking advantage of and you know it's weird. I, mean the rams just can look so light speed and then just just slow down to a crawl at some points against some of their opponents but this is good on good on the forty niners. This was a classic forty niners game from last year that we recognized and the kind of showed off how deep they were weapon wise. How hard they are to tackle how good they are creating yards after the catch for the receivers. and. Maybe all is not lost right there right now. Now, what they hadn't answer for Aaron Donald with CIA most people don't have lots of double teams for Donald but largely neutralizing this one. So it's it's probably worth the investment. Yeah. That's something that You know not a lot of people can say they did this year so. And the Rams Kinda you know this is the second time. This year we seen the rams play from behind. They came back in Buffalo. They sort of stuck with their thing they they still ran the ball. They still use play action You saw the same thing, but they just they just ran out of time and they had they got deep Red Zone CEW Cup drops a touchdown and they get intercepted on the next play They they just you know I I don't know in the bills game it's like Oh good they they stuck to what they do and in this game it's like they had no urgency. So yeah, it gets it depends on the they were. You know there were like certain segments of the game with removing fast and I thought getting some headway there. I think there was that one drive that got blown up because of the holding penalty where they kind of picked up and they started going into the into the no huddle and I don't know why they're doing that not doing that more and to further that point I think that. I. Don't know why every team didn't do that coming right out to start the season like because the one thing that you could you could have controlled during the pandemic off season conditioning right? You could have gotten your offense into better shape. You knew that the defense didn't have time to play together was gonNA..

"This is a this is a nice win for the bucks here who are sort of reestablished after that just really weird Thursday night loss in Chicago where they were shorthanded and No penalties, this game I bet that's been. That's been a big deal and obviously if this team does not get penalized for. Know four, hundred yards every week like they had been coming up to this point, they are going to be quite good knee NFC. Yeah. Let's let's. Let's go out to steelers browns here. This was one that I I mean I think everyone was really looking forward to this one see. Really. Gauged, not only where the browns were but we're Ben Rothlisberger is because. It is a different sealers offense, this year and. Hasn't been a high. A high degree of difficulty with the schedule so far, and it was kinda worth seeing what rothlisberger was going to be especially as a browns defense that I mean myles Garrett had been dominant to this point but this was just an absolute blowout and kind of started with the steelers defense did to that Brown's off line. Yeah I, mean for me it was all emblematic of that fourth one that the browns went four in the third quarter when they're down like two and a half scores I think it was like. Seventeen points I think at that point, and if you look at what Pittsburgh, did they walked TJ Watt up to the lines to their five guys on seven years for Cleveland Browns had a tackle eligible net tight end on the other side and it wasn't even close. I. Mean The five steeler defenders just destroyed that Brown's offensive line. I think Kareem Hunt got tackled three or four yards in the backfield. It was so fast that neither of the two linebackers on that play really had time to get into the play like the defensive line blew it up that quickly and if you're looking for one thing that sums it up, I mean, here's your best run offense in the league versus your best past airy your best run defense, and so that's what happens and I think Pittsburgh show just how much stronger they are maybe then some of the other teams in the league with with something like that. Yeah I want to highlight Bud DuPrey in this game who was a WHO's dominant? He had two sacks he had two more. Tackles for loss in this one, he had one play look. Every time you hear NFL coach talk about like, oh. We want to be more physical teams us kind of roll your eyes, and that's something that Mike Tomlin says a lot Sometimes there's something to that though and and I mean buddy pre had a play and I still can't really wrap my head around it. It was like a second twenty second along for the browns it was little a little slip screen type thing to Austin Hooper in Hooper's running downfield. And but dupree came up from behind and like declared an unusual if it's like a head on head on collision young guy. Over type of thing but. It just must be so sucky to like be awesome hooper at that point where you're you're running out, feel comes from behind you and and again it's just..
Super Bowl Bound: 49ers and Chiefs
"Did bill. We made it to the Super Bowl. You me and Jimmy Garoppolo. I feel I I may have sweat more watching the NFC championship game. That Jimmy Garoppolo actually swept playing being in the NFC championship game. Bill Barnwell is a senior football writer at ESPN and the host of the bill. Barnwell show so after two weeks Of Extremely Exciting Football Championship weekend did not disappoint niners and chiefs fans disappointed pretty much everyone else or at least anyone who wanted close close games both favorites dominated so let's start with the most dominant team the San Francisco Forty niners bill win the niners packers met earlier earlier. This season. Aaron Rodgers had one of the worst games of his career threw for one hundred and four yards. Tonight he threw for three hundred twenty six yards But the result wasn't much better. Why is that okay? So the first time these two teams played the niners won with an absolutely dominant. Pash Josh Rush Nick. Bosa and his teammates knocked down Aaron Rodgers ten times on Sunday. The only knockdown Aaron Rogers twice and while they did hold them without a first down conversion in the first half both of those games the packers movable pretty consistently I should say after after halftime instead the forty niners otherworldly in a different way on Sunday they ran the ball forty two times for two hundred eighty five yards and four. We're touchdowns averaging nearly seven yards per carry to put that in context. ESPN has a stat called expected. Points with measures how each play impacts team's James Chances of scoring on a given the forty niners racked up the second most rushing. EPA for any team in a game this season and and the most for any single team in a playoff game over the last decade just narrowly beating out the prior record holder. which just happened to be the forty niners? Twenty wanting twelve playoff win over. The Green Bay Packers would Colin Kaepernick. Ran For one hundred. Eighty one rushing yards. So they're leading rusher tonight. I was not Colin Kaepernick. It was re Moster who ran for two hundred and twenty yards by himself. were good has hat trick the first half of the NFC championship game deserves a hat trick of field grade baby bill. Will I am guessing. A decent amount of football fans hadn't heard Ramos before tonight. Okay so you mustard is basically it accident accident in football terms but it's such a cool story so the Shanahan offense has a history of unearthing obscure running back and turning them into stars going back to Mike Shanahan stays in Denver but even among those backs most particularly remarkable case. Liners did everything they could to find a different running back over the past a couple of years. They hand picked a runner who they traded up to nab in the two thousand seventeen draft never played a game for the team. They signed Jerick McKinnon Torres. ACL He's collected more than and twenty one million dollars for the niners without ever playing a single game for the team. This offseason they added. Kevin Coleman from the Falcons who suffered an injury in the first half and that opened up the door from western and most of its story is easy to root for. You heard him talk about it. After the biggest game of his life on Sunday crazy that I've been on seven. Different teams actually still have cut dates every before every game a look at the dates when I got cut not everybody can can deal. Would that type of stressing the pain and agony I went through. I kept the faith to not only myself but whoever gave me the opportunity is organization has done a great job most are made the niners roster as a special teamer at first but after he looked good in limited time last season they gave him a three year extension after playing. Well this season most are just became the first running back. NFL history to top two hundred rushing yards and scored four rushing touchdowns in a single game. That's never happened in the playoffs playoffs before pretty good for a guy who was really an afterthought until the two thousand eighteen season. What's just remarkable? Bill is those two hundred twenty rushing yards. Were nearly three times as many yards as Garoppolo the night as quarterback past for which made for a remarkable stat sheet. There was a point in this football game where according to ESPN stats and Info. Jimmy went ninety four minutes in real time without attempting a pass so I have to ask going into the Super Bowl. Is that a sustainable offensive approach. I mean we all had that friend and in our twenties who got by succeeded solely because they were good looking right now that friend is Jimmy. Garoppolo I mean in the divisional round. He barely through through the football in the conference championship game. He barely through the football. We saw a similar situation with Ryan. Tannehill right over the first two weeks of his post. The season and when Tennessee ran into an offensive juggernaut with the chiefs their offense with Danny Hillis not able to accelerate into a higher gear. Now of course Garoppolo is the one who has to face the chiefs unless the forty niners can shut down the Kansas City. Passing game with their pass rush which isn't out of the question they're going to need to throw the football more quite a bit more. We've seen the niners succeed in games or Garoppolo and to throw the ball at ton with the Saints Win. Maybe as a notable for example but since Garoppolo through that interception against the Vikings in the divisional round cow Shanahan has called seventy one runs against just twelve passes passes even if the niners do end up throwing the ball effectively against the chiefs. It's clear that Shanahan doesn't WANNA put the game on Garoppolo shoulders unless absolutely necessary and that in itself is telling throughout the game bill packers fans were frustrated. Understand police and they seem to be taking out some of their wrath on the coaches arguing. They should have devised better game. Plans to both run the ball more and stop the run and do you think there's anything that Matt Leflore or the Packers Defensive Coordinator Mike Patton could have done differently in this game. Yeah I think so I think to be fair. Shanahan might just ask pedants number. It just felt like you is several steps ahead of the packers defensive coordinator and when pen and tried to adjust it just never seemed to catch up and work there. There was one play I think in the second quarter was a microcosm of everything that went wrong for the packers in this game. They came out in their nickle package with five defensive backs against the forty niners base. He's too back offense which created the size mismatch. The niners pitched the Baltimore and not only did he have a huge hole but he made both safeties with on their tackle attempts downfield win for about thirty yards. pedants struggled to put his players in positions where they could succeed and meanwhile leflore didn't coach like a guy who was a seven point underdog. The packers punted. I believe on their first drive on fourth and one from the fifty yard line. We know the packers are enormously more effective offense with Aaron Aaron Jones on the field but the floor still Jamal Williams their backup running back. Play over thirty percent of the offensive snaps and he didn't really take advantage of move the niners movement Richard Sherman. That was really fascinating during the regular season for the niners and during the vast majority of his time in Seattle Sherman signed up for almost every every snap asked the left cornerback. Defense playing against the right side of the offense. The niners started the game on Sunday. Which chairman on the opposite side of the field on the right side of the defense on the left side of the offense against devante items and while Sharon didn't travel to the left side very frequently? He did do it a few times during the first half. The second half Adams was able to be isolated Sherman over the top for a huge play downfield. I think that played about half of his snaps on either side of the field. I would have liked to have seen for trying to isolate him against German a little more often and take his chances with
Did Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy deserve to get fired?
"Is not to say that Mike McCarthy didn't deserve to be a head. Coach is not to say that he did a terrible job because he did it. He's proven to be a good coach. And it may very well be that he deserves to be someplace else. I'm certainly not gonna sit up here and say that Mike McCarthy doesn't deserve to be a head coach in the league as long as Jason Garrett, and Marvin Lewis is still head coaches in the league, I'm not gonna do that. I'm not gonna do that. Especially Marvin Lewis. These Jason gave wanna play off game is more than I can say for Marvin Lewis hasn't wanna play off game sixteen years, Mike McCarthy's a Super Bowl champion. I think that ultimately the indictment against Mike McCarthy is very very simple, ladies and gentlemen. When you are coaching. Arguably the greatest talent we have ever seen at the quarterback position in NFL history. You gotta have more than one Super Bowl championship in more than one Super Bowl appearance to show for it. You have to have that Mike because he didn't have that. You can't have Arron Rogers questioning the play calling. You can't have him chagrined over the personnel. That surrounding him ask why that's the biggest defense that I have for Mike McCarthy. He he isn't the only one that needs to needed to go. I think I don't have any problem with Mark Murphy, the presidency yo for the Green Bay Packers going. I mean, you don't wanna had Ted Thompson up in there as a GM before you put. We assign them to consultants position. Brian Khuda Kint good a cancer. We don't know what he's capable of. He clearly wants to move into different direction and have his own guy. That's fair enough. But under Mike are under under a Murphy, you had a regime that did not respect ariza's enough. Didn't show him the courtesy and respect you deserve. You got rid of the quarterbacks. Coach alexan- pelt. You didn't even consult with Andrew with Rogers. How do you have a quarterback coach and not consult with Amer Rogers before letting him go? How do you do that? How do you do that? I remember one time I was told Aaron Rodgers walked into their office. They told him to get the hell out shut up. You play. We run organization. That's how this works really, really. I want to walk around here and act like you know, what Aaron Rodgers listen. He's not having a greatest year. Yeah. Absolutely. Right. He's not in that. Absolutely. Right. Eras is not having the greatest year. Nobody's gonna make that defense. He's not gonna make that defensible himself. He ain't blind. He could see understands, but we're talking about eras who will who will saunter who will cruise into the hall of fame first ballot without question. And gentlemen, Aaron Rodgers has twenty one touchdowns and just one interception on this season. And that's a down year for him. That's how lethal he is. That's how great he is. We are talking about a man with a career ninety eight and fifty five and one record. We are talking about a man, then it's completed sixty four point eight percent of his passes. First career. We are talking about a man that has done this at the frozen tundra lamb Lambeau Field for his career, and he is still passing over forty two thousand yards. We are talking about a man that's exceeded. What some would label top-five quarterback in NFL history who's passed over seventy thousand yards and Brett farve. And nobody would tell you that bradfo was better than that Rogers. That's how great Aaron Rodgers is. That's how great Aaron Rogers has been. And so guess what? If he's not feeling a coach, if he's not happy, or whatever the case may be you better pay attention.
Aaron Rodgers' estranged brother rips QB after wildfire donation
"However, then all of a sudden this this guy, Jordan Rogers gets on social media in starts blasting Aaron Rodgers the SEC network. Analysts took exception to his brother's quote unquote act accusing the Green Bay Packers quarterback of king lacking compassion for his family. So against Jordan Rogers is on the SEC network. He's an analyst. And of course, we all know that Aaron Rodgers is the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers. So we know the Jordan says that you know, he and Aaron I guess they've had a falling out. He says, please donate spread awareness and send love Jordan tweeted in response to errands social media campaign video, but and this is where it gets a little a little dicey. He says, but when your mom is home alone during fires in car packed and ready to evacuate, and you missed the fundamental first step of compassion. Calling your parents to make sure they're safe everything else. Just feels like an act. And that's what Jordan did. So you got Aaron Rogers says saying that he's going to pledge a million bucks and trying to help people there with the California wildfires, and and so then Jordan tweeted his response back to Aaron. And of course, all the other folks on social media. So this is all a bunch of family garbage in and we see this all the time, whether it is a family's going after each other or celebrities going after each other we've seen you know, spouses and girlfriends and boyfriends taking each other out on Twitter and social media. I'm gonna goes on and on Facebook is another one you post on somebody's time line, and you can put something real nasty up there or something personal. You know? Hey, why are you cheating on me or whatever it is? You could be the post that on somebody's time line. And so one of the things that I've noticed with social media is there there just seems to be this lack of decorum these days. Now, they good social media is a big part of that. Now, the story points out, and this is from FOX four one one the Rogers family drama has been a public debacle since Jordan aired their dirty laundry during his appearance on season twelve of the bachelorette in two thousand sixteen revealing that Aaron had been in strange from his parents in rarely contacted them. Well, you know, my two cents on this would be and I made these speaking out of turn.
Brett Favre: 'Mike McCarthy is an excellent coach'
"Brett farve came out in support of Mike McCarthy this week. Oh. La pressure on Aaron Rodgers earned. Unlike him Brett says he is an excellent coach that might hurt. The I think Mike is is an excellent coach they have to win. And I think when and hurry or something may happen there earns playing outstanding. And really keeping them in games. Their defense is really at times looking really good opportunistic aggressive, but I don't see that. I see a lot of potential. I just think that they're underachieving little bit right now. Okay. Of course farve connects with Mike McCarthy, first of all the personalities old school. Little stubborn their cut from the same cloth. The other thing is McCarthy saved Forbes career Mike Sherman was a bad NFL coach Green Bay was four and twelve McCarthy came in and turned it around in two years. They went eight an eight and then went thirteen and three. So, of course, farve loves him. He read I'd love a boss to if he resurrected my career ours loves him. The second thing is never forget this McCarthy use. Used to be in San Francisco and his Greg Jennings. Told us the former Packer he didn't love Aaron Rodgers coming out of college. The thing about Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy that people miss sometimes who's the number one overall pick the year Aaron Rogers came out Alex Smith who was his offense coordinator, Mike McCarthy. And it would just be so random in Aaron we'll take a shot at Mike like, oh, yeah. Like how you picked Alex Smith. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. So listen farve is gonna love McCarthy. Same personality cut from the same clause resurrected his career. And there's no question that Aaron Rodgers is a different dude. The McCarthy he inherits McCarthy McCarthy is farve guy and McCarthy wants passed on him. I I'm not a grudge holder. But I don't forget stuff, I forgive. And I don't forget about I'm not a grudge holder. But if Aaron Rodgers is like can come guy. He's right McCarthy's kind of afar of guy and so. Farve comes out and says I love Mike McCarthy. I totally get it completely absolutely explainable. I do think McCarthy and Rogers twelve years in time for divorce. There are always hear horror stories about bad divorces McCarthy will get under job, Aaron we get a more progressive offensive mind. It will all be good Aaron have after this year. Another good for years. I'll be last physically Khalil Mack twice a year. Biking's defense twice a year. But Aaron's going to have an ice for years after this year. They're not gonna make the playoffs this year.
Aaron Rogers to donate a million dollars to wildfire relief efforts in North California
"Rogers says he's donating a million dollars to wildfire relief efforts in northern California announced it in a video on Twitter just moments ago. I forgot that's where he's from. Wow. I thought he was a mid west dude because it's been Green Bay so long but his hometown Chico is in Butte county, which has been hard hit by those by those fires I feel I don't know. I feel a lot of these charitable social media drives from athletes that we see a lot of we don't always see their own money being put up and this is a doodoo who's putting up seven figures. You know, that's a that's a number that gets your attention a million dollars. I some other athlete just donated one hundred thousand I can't recall who that's a great thing. But. A million is is terrific. So many athletes live out there. And some have, you know, tweeted about losing homes and and stuff like that. You know, that's that's the best. Use of celebrities is when you have the financial wherewithal to really make an impact like that in you You know, know, I. I saw lady Gaga whose lives out there. You know, visiting a firehouse and and spending time with first responders and anytime celebrity can really lend themselves or their money to a great. 'cause I think it's really meaningful. I think. Yeah. Well, it's going to have some very real impact. It's so much of that goes directly to the resources that are needed to not only corral the fires which only about seventy percent contained right now in northern California. But also with the rebuild which is gonna be so massive once they get going. I'll we're gonna have Greg Candice Buckner for the Washington Post coming up at eleven o'clock here on ESPN radio. She has been as plugged in his anyone to the miserable failure. But also entertaining dumpster fire that the Washington Wizards have been so far this season. Although I think she's going to tell us at least I'm gonna ask just hell far back. This goes, I refuse to believe that this is something that's bubbled up over the last. I. Of the season or thereabouts. And it's just when I say she's plugged in. I mean, she's plugged in from, you know, the pen and paper dot com side as opposed to Steven A who went down, and sort of sort of made sure that he was face to face with some of these protagonists and antagonists in the story. But I listen, the wizards are probably as close as I get to NBA fandom not like Mike with his Cleveland Cavaliers, but like I'm super plugged in to the contracts in plugged in just plugged into the fire Ernie chance now like, and it's just I'm dying to know some of
Leonard Fournette of Jacksonville Jaguars unlikely to play vs. New England Patriots but no final decision yet
"Com. Probably the best game on the board. Here. The AFC championship game rematch. Patriots either minus or I've seen pick them as well at Jacksonville is Leonard fournette going to play. Jalen Ramsey been talking. A lot of joke about gronk this week. Yeah. If there's if there's one team you don't want to antagonize. It's it's the New England Patriots. I mean, we've seen them come out with chips on their shoulders before and and back it up. So I'm not sure exactly what's going on there. I do think there's going to be one of the tougher defenses at the patriots pace play this week. They have the the easiest schedule in terms of defenses that they faced for the for the entire season. So this is really one of the few tests that they have on the docket. You know, I think Jacksonville, Jacksonville, certainly has everything that you need. We talked about this secondary before. I mean you talking about Ramsey Ramsey one of the best cover corners in the game. Their pass rushers great. I'm not quite sure about Vernet, but Yeldan did a good job in his place. I'm not sure how much they lose their on. This is gonna be interesting. I actually like Jack Jaguars and the points. I do think that they can they can eke out a win in this match up. But you just you don't wanna piss Belgium. Check off. I don't know what exactly that's going on there. But I agree with you. That is the best game of the weekend.

Tom Brady of New England Patriots says his priorities are same as Bill Belichick's
"There has been a lot made about the potential for their being tension between Tom Brady and Bill Belichick ESPN reported late last season. There was friction between the two because the Brady's connections with trainer, Alex Guerrero this morning Brady had missed, say, I'm w. e. e. I about has relationship with Bella shit quote. I think our priorities are the same that they've always been, and I think that's why we get along. So, well, we're here to win. It's been a very professional environment he's created on. I think I'm very lucky to be in that environment. I think he's the best coach, whoever coached in the NFL and I feel very privileged to kind of be mentor by him as long as I have.
