"It's the passing league. We're not going to play all that many games. You know, we might need the extra defensive tackle against the two Patriots games and the Ravens game. A lot of these other games. Maybe you can go with three on game day because the other guys the defensive end can kick in the number. One guy on that list is that the Obama to and it was Obviously he's the version of what people wanted The Christian wait story to be going through that international pathways program. Guy that figured out how to just let his physical gifts translate. It's been a really exciting thing, and I think he's the name bill spans are going to get to know diseases. And I wonder, too. How much you believe his versatility to bump inside. Same with Boogie bash ums like Where do you lead this conversation on the defensive line Numbers? We we've been, you know, Sale we just had sale on before you sail was a little hesitant in saying like, Yeah, this is This is a team that's going to that's going to cart 11 defensive lineman. Um, he kind of stopped short of that. This is a team that historically is like nine and two more. That that puts you in a squeeze at like a number of positions. Do you believe Obama to and potentially Basham is ability to bump down? Maybe has them reconsider how many overall guys at the defensive tackle position they'll keep in to follow up with that question? How much does Harrison his Harrison Phillips injury? Complicate all of that. So that last question is the key because that I think that what we're going to see, Uh, don't get too nerdy here with all the numbers, it's I think we're going to see 11 defensive lineman for a day. Because there it's going to be like last year where they go through on Tuesday. It's going to be 11 defensive lineman and then on Wednesday, they're going to get moved to the I R short term and then they're going to bring somebody else back. So It looks pretty clear that's going to be the case with Harrison Phillips. I think he's the easiest one. So you have to have them on the initial 53 Man roster to put him out of the injured reserve to be able to bring him back similar idea Hodgins last year and other moves that they made So I think you're going to have 11 for a day. Then all of a sudden, it immediately comes back to 10. The question is going to be. Does that versatility mean that Vernon Butler, who you know, we all saw him playing reps in the fourth quarter of a preseason game would against the Bears alongside Brandon, Brian and other guys that nobody thinks he's going to make this roster? It's not a great sign for for a guy like that. Now. Maybe the injuries to Harrison Phillips and Justin Zimmer simply make it unavoidable that we cannot allow the to be that sin a defensive tackle. He has to be there so That's really going to put it at odds because he's one of the guys that I would have considered. I'd rather keep you know somebody was a little more upside than what I've seen from Vernon Butler. So that's where it gets down to either 11 or 10 for me. I initially, you know, assuming health Had it at 10, with Vernon Butler getting released, Um, I know I've dug through would work with cell on a bunch of the different salary numbers here. We can save 1.7 million and cap space by releasing Vernon Butler, and that's probably the reason by itself. It's a little bit extra that you don't have to worry about next year. Um, I think that's the guy who's on the block. I think the other guys, I think Carol Johnson really has solidified his rule. From a special team standpoint, Zimmer has just flashed so much. I'd be apprehensive to to wave him and let him try to go through waivers to get to the practice squad. It's possible he would, but he's flashing awful lot. I think it's going to come down to looking at 10 that day. Then you put Harrison Phillips and short term IR and it ends up being nine. If it's 11 and tenants whose burning Butler makes it because they're nervous about Phillips and Zimmer in the short term, need that extra defensive tackle Greg get in a plug for the work. Always going to talk with you. Nice to have you on the show again. And thanks for giving us your time this morning and have fun enjoy the football season. Dad cannot wait a couple more weeks. Greg Thompson joining us from cover one on our Western hotline before we go to break, Let me just share a couple tweets. A couple of the bills players have run afoul of the National Football League. And have been fined and have actually tweeted out, in fact, as a Mackenzie tweeted out a copy of basically the first page of a letter that he received from the National Football League for Mask violation. Um, I could probably skim through this, but basically on August 25th this is the letter from the Deer Isaiah. Always nice to just start this is yesterday. It is a letter. Yes. This happened yesterday letter is actually dated The 26th. So that's today. Right? So yesterday this happened on August 25th approximately 2:15 p.m. while walking through the indoor field house and into the training room. You failed to wear a mask. Then at approximately 4 35 PM for several minutes, you again failed to wear a mask in the meeting area of the weight room while gathered near other players after the offensive meeting. What is he what They know all this stuff. He says he being fined by the team. No, This is a league thing. I believe this is a letter from the National Football League. So it's the league that is finding him. In fact, he later tweeted I think he tweeted. They got me NFL. Um and I thought he said, like $14,000 so that that would indicate then Isaiah McKenzie has not been vaccinated, right? That's right. It has to. If you're reading this right, you refused to wear a mask occurred. This occurred after you were informed here You would go. Nate, This is your giveaway to this. Your refusal to wear a mask Er occurred after you were informed that it was required for unvaccinated players. As set forth in the club disciplined schedule and goes on to talk about the refusal to wear the mask. We gave a presentation mask wearing requirements unvaccinated players subject to fines and discipline for refusal to wear the mask. You've been warned Black Black Blair. Okay, uh and you still refuse to wear the mask? So, yes, he also tweeted out. As I said, I think it was like a $14,000 500 something dollars Fine, So he's been fined by the NFL who got him yesterday for not wearing the mask in the facility as an unvaccinated player. Cole Beasley, then tweeted out. Quote, Tweeted Isaiah's letter. Oh, God. Don't worry. They got me too. But I was wearing a mask when I was in close contact with fully Vax trainer who tested positive and still got sent home. So what's the point of the mask anyways? Meanwhile, I'm here still testing negative and can't come back make it makes sense. I mean, I guess I, by the way, he was really mask, right. What I want to violate to point out that that doesn't make sense. That he would if he was wearing a mask. What's the Violet? Why would you get fined? I guess he's not even that. But why? I even want to take this step further if he was wearing a mask, and he was near someone that tested positive So is there is there no way that if you're in close contact, you could be in a bubble. And it doesn't matter You're still going to have to. I believe, because five days because you're not because you're not vaccinated, Correct because he did like he. He tested negative. In fact, the guys who were sent home, according to Brandon Beane, all tested negative, right? I do. They were all sent home because Of the protocol for unvaccinated play, and I buy that. I think it's smart for the league to say, even though you tested negative today. It's very possible in two or three days or 24 48 hours that that changes you're getting people would not want you to test negative and then walk into the facility a day later and test positive and you know, so listen, I get that from the precaution perspective. This is what this ultimately is is these are rules to incentivize through consequence..

"Took a number of phone calls before someone would speak to her and then she was told that they weren't investigating the case any further. It was with the fbi so misty called the fbi. She said she thought they should look into matthew muller and they came and took all of the evidence that had been collected from the white mustang and the house in south lake tahoe which included aaron quinn's laptop. It had been stolen from his house on the night of the home invasion. And then everything else though. White mustang also had in the gps. The the cross streets where i was dropped off Where i was released and you know it was the same way out of the home That i had described and so there was just overwhelming amounts of evidence that linked him to our case was matthew mueller. Who was this guy. I mean we found out about him in news reports Apparently he was a harvard educated. Attorney i mean. He was honest about a lot of what he told me. He was in the military. He's in the marines at one point was married and gotten a divorce and it seemed like there was a lot of things in his life that were falling. Apart leading up to this point he had been linked to some prior break ins about eight or so years before our case He had been an attorney Immigration attorney but apparently He was disbarred in two thousand eleven. His employer accused him of stealing records from the office computer network at night sleeping in a sleeping bag in the building to do it and then using a computer program to try to hide what he done other employers had significant problems with his.

"Or if i kept denying that they're gonna pay me as a cold calculated murder. God denise at this point you were still being held captive now hundreds of miles away. You said that you thought you were going to die and you're sexually assaulted while in captivity but then two days later you were driven back to your parents hometown and set free. What was going through your mind. At the time. I was really more than anything in shock and disbelief for those two days. I was convinced that it was the end of my life. And i had to make peace with that and so being physically free. I couldn't really trust it especially before because before it was released i was again threatened and not just me but my family i was told. You're probably gonna talk to the police but there's two things you can't say that the police anything about as being in the military or anything about the sexual assaults and so i just felt lake no matter what i was going to be under the captivity of their threats for the rest of my life and any decision made anything could potentially cause harm to my family so it was really difficult. Place to be now denise when you were found alive two days later authorities immediately doubted your story. in fact vallejo. Police held a press conference the same day you were released publicly. Shamed you suggesting you were lying about your story and said you owed the community apology. The media described you as the real life. Gone girl implying that you staged your own kidnapping and that label stuck. How painful was it to withstand this treatment from the police the media and the public on top of actually trying to cope with what you just survived. Yeah i mean that label. Real life gone girl. Probably the greatest insult of my life. I spent my life dedicated to my studies. I got a doctorate in physical therapy. So i could help people and in that time in captivity the thing not grounded me gave me strength and hope was the thought of returning to my life to the people in things that gave me meaning which was my job so having police lie like that and just completely destroy my name and my reputation and anything that i could return to. That could help me start to heal. I mean it was just completely lost completely broken. I mean the only thing that really kept me going was having errand by my side and also the support of family and friends will aaron. Your names were only cleared after the assailant struck again several months later. Can you explain how that happened. we did our best to try to police action. Investigate this crime denise unilaterally labeled her as a hoaxer she went to police Or two days of questioning and they did investigate because we knew these guys are dangerous and unfortunately a few months later one is one of our sealants attacked another family and in that case They're able him off and the detective from dublin Misty did exact opposite livelihood And she went above and beyond and track down when they went to south. Tahoe where matthew muller was staying. They found my laptop. They found Blonde hair attached to swim dogs. Similar to what we wore which the The family dublin didn't have no one had long blond hair. Eventually she tracked it Chased him to our crime and it wasn't for her and her partner. I don't know where we be. I r. reputations wouldn't be restored. I don't know if it'd be working so we saved our lives. Yeah she's a true hero for us. Well more with denise hoskins in aaron quinn when we come back. We're back with denise hoskins and aaron quinn aaron twenty sixteen matthew muller as you mentioned. He's a disbarred. Harvard educated lawyer pleaded guilty in federal court to kidnapping for ransom and was sentenced to forty years in prison. He has also since face multiple charges by the state but has pleaded not guilty. You settled a civil lawsuit with the police for two point. Five million dollars but only recently six years later. Did you receive a public apology. It came in the form of a statement to abc news. Vallejo's public information officer. Christine elise set. This case was not publicly handled with the type of sensitivity. A case of this nature should have been and vallejo's new police. Chief sean williams said although i was not chief in two thousand fifteen when this incident occurred i would like to extend my deepest apology to miss hoskins and mr quinn for how they were treated during this ordeal. What is your reaction to that. Does it provide any closure for you. I don't think the apology six years later. really matters too much to us are closure or us. Moving forward is more about came back to who we really are in our love for each other Our love for our family our professions and vote. We would like to see is the who actually make changes to be better as a department. They encourage your viewers to look them up. They have a pretty bad track record and we want sustainable. Changes of things like this doesn't happen to other people. We're lucky that we have the support for each other. We're lucky that we were able to move We're we're so grateful for the network we have support and i don't want this to happen again today. But well denise it's been six years since the abduction but there is a happy ending to your story you got married in two thousand eighteen and our now parents to a beautiful baby girl. Olivia what is life like for you today. Oh i mean. Olivia springs us so much joy. And i mean all in all. We're really simple. People living simple lives when i'm working. He's watching her and vice versa. And then we just spend our time together and enjoying each other You know so. I mean that's really day to day we just take gratitude and where we live and each other and the people on our life. That means a lot to us. Denise we should point out that you both used the term. They instead of him. Because you still do not believe this kidnapper. Matthew muller acted alone why not. Is anyone taking those concerns seriously. When will the night of the home invasion there are several things that indicated there was other people there for one. I saw people standing at the edge of the bed and we heard people downstairs when he was upstairs with us there so many pieces of this and if people read her book will be able to see that it just it. There's too much that just one person could have done. Sadly i don't we haven't really been given any information about what else has really been cleared as far as that part of the investigation goes so it's the same investigators that were on the case when they were calling it a hoax trying to prosecute us so it's hard to trust what has been done and i think you know. The hardest part is knowing that there's going to be a lot of answers that were never going to get and we just kind of have to move forward and make peace with that..

"During a home invasion in march of two thousand fifteen. Denise hoskins and aaron quinn were terrorized and drugged and denise was kidnapped for ransom although denise was found alive two days later there nightmare wasn't over instead. F from crime victims two suspects to survivors. Please welcome denise hoskins and aaron quinn. thank you so much for joining us. Denise bank you denise what you've been through is truly horrifying and we appreciate you sharing your story with us. Let's start with the night. you were abducted. You were told not to call the cops or denise would be harmed ultimately. You made the decision to call nine one one then. You went from victim to prime suspect in her disappearance. Can you explain what happened there. Yeah so the kidnappers had set up a camera to monitor Nearing apple my phone. So they said. If i called the police they would kill denise as hit. Went on a camera wasn't fully operating. My i believe my best choice. Action wants to call Intern why went to police department. "Ahead an all new view your deal welcome back. Congratulations are in order. For harry and meghan who just welcomed a baby daughter. Lilibet diana a name that honors. Both the queen. As well as the baby's graham of the late princess diana sarah i think very fitting tribute to the women in this family but i i kind of wish they'd have found a way to also put megan's mom's name in there but i get it. What do you think. I think it's a beautiful tribute may self was named after my dad's mom sarah hanes and i. I always held that as a badge of honor. It gave me some kind of calling some kind of legacy and we've gone ahead and name dark with little tag tidbits of family names that we wanted to lift up an honor. I think it's beautiful. Sadly this little girl will never meet her grandmother diana but now she gets to think of her and honor her every time she mentions her name and she gets to wear that s her own badge of honor and i. I think it's beautiful right. Megan how about you. How would you think of the announcement. My daughter is named liberty. Sage after america and my favorite or my dad's favourite cactus blossoms so i can never comment on other people's children's names because i chose an unorthodox when myself but i'm glad their families happy joy. Yeah oh. I'm thinking how long before piers morgan starts attacking the baby. That's what i'm waiting for I think that when you want a reconciliation you have to be in the same building or the same town of the same country. I'm not sure that this is going to do anything. But it's kind of sweet that they named the baby lily best which is a queen elizabeth's pen her What's the word. I'm joined my name. Yeah yeah my name is. My name is josephine. Say and i'm named after my grandmother but no one in the family could tolerate calling a baby josephine that the time and now is a hot name for a kid. Steve martin's baby is named josephine. My daughter's best friends babies named josephine. I cannot get over it and it's like an old italian isn't it. It's gotten there are only two other whoopie is that i'm aware of but who's counting. They also said they're both taking parental leave for the next few months. I think this is a great thing and should be allowed. What do you. What do you guys think i mean sunny star with you. I think i think it's. It's a wonderful precedent. Unfortunately in this country we have a real problem with parental leave. And hopefully some sort of precedent. I i think it's doubtful and i'm named after my great aunt. My real name is. It's an uncommon name. But i'm really happy that most of my family and my husband called me us. Young people shortened it to sonny. Because it's a little difficult to pronounce. Little bit is just so sweet and the amish to her great grandmother and her grandmother. I think is beautiful. Family names i is very special. I think so are very special. So i'm thrilled for them. I think we should all be very happy for them. Well i think everyone actually might be and you know you can find out more about this on the american royal baby which is streaming tonight on hulu and we. Of course we'll be right back. So tell me about his. I guess people are really concerned about these hands and sunny. I'll go to you. What's up with the parents will. I didn't watch his speech. But i did get sent several pictures of the pants and i learned new words this weekend and i'm not sure what what happened with the pants. I'm not sure right. I yeah okay. I'm i'm not sure. Maybe maybe they were on backwards or or maybe maybe they were ill-fitting but if he's a billionaire that he should have a better taylor i'm just not sure right. Okay megan why do you think it is his pants that people are focusing on. Were they talking the brightly colored. I didn't see it. So i'm not sure i think ex presidents have to present themselves in a way where they're gonna be taken seriously otherwise you can kind of look like a crazy ex mad king and he's been Like a wedding singer at mar-a-lago and he just looks really shoveled. he doesn't look at. I mean and again it's it's i don't. I'm not one of these people that like you know. I'm not like a jim acosta. Where i'm always just like dunking on him. But this was not how if he's really looking to lead the party. This is not the way. He should present himself for a lot of different reasons. What's also interesting. Is that lara. Trump said she's not running for senate. So i really do think this could be working. Sea change right now of leadership okay joy. Did the pants disturb you as much as apparently they've disturbed everyone else in the country. Well they make him look. You know crazy. They make him look crazy. I'm on fox news. They talk about how. Joe biden is suffering from dementia. Hello joe biden's riding his bike and leading a country quite well. This guy's running around with pants. That look like he. He pooped in them. Something it's weird. Jitney stalemate. Didn't they still a lot of money from. Oh my god. Didn't they still live coverage with standards before that we weren't supposed to say that that's why is it. Oh my god. Sorry panic weird to say that. I did not have that conversation with standards. Anyway the point is that the guy stole so much money from his constituents when he continues to say that he won the election has nobody can go to get some better pants. Mommy i mean. Come on on backwards wizards. i don't. I don't know maybe zip up on the side. Sarah what do you. What do you make of all the attention. The pants are getting should he have just come out and underwear and let the pants do the talk. Please please. don't come down somewhere like let's just leave it with these weird cans. I don't need to see that. But i got kind of looks like this. The disheveled oversize suits when he does that. Dance like this. You know like it feels like he's around people that if he asked he just like they just yes him or you can't control him which is also highly possible. But if you say something. Brilliant people won't be looking at your pants which is kind of the point here guys. The pant stole the show. Because there's something going on in their average holds and tonight sit on a second here speed. I believe hold on hold on. I believe sunny has has information on this sunny. What is the information. I have a note. I have a note while he has not made a statement about the state of his pants slopes reviewed ninety minutes of footage from the event and declare. That's just how i feel but we'll be right back later. The couple at the center of the kidnapping case. That was wrongly dubbed. The real life gone girl shared. What happened when law enforcement thought they were the prime suspects. So anything is mister quinn and miss hoskins. Does this community apology. Welcome.

"Hello and welcome to view. Democrats are making a push to combat several red-state restrictive voting laws with a voter reform. Bill of their own but west. Virginia democrat joe. Manchin said he'll vote with the republicans to kill the bill as well as save the filibuster and he defended his decision yesterday. Take a look by taking it off the table. Haven't you empowered republicans to be obstructionist. I don't think so because we have seven brave republicans that continue to vote for what they know is right in the facts as they see him. Not worrying about the political consequences. I believe there's a lot more my republican colleagues and friends fill the same way. I'm just hoping they are able to to rise to the occasion to to defend our country and support our country and make sure that we have a democracy for this republic of all the people. I'm i'm just very hopeful. That i see good signs joy do you share mansions hope here. Well i don't think so. I think he's very naive as chris wallace called him. He says that he's giving props to his republican colleagues. Who are doing the right thing without regard to career. That's a very disingenuous remark from senator mansion. Because that's exactly what he's doing. He knows that. Straddling the The the i guess the republican base. What i don't know how to put it as straddling the base. That sounds a little sexual but by doing what the republican party might like. He keeps his job in west virginia as my point and as far as as they work across the aisle since twenty thirteen. This guy has been working with. Senator toomey to get background checks on guns. Okay have we. Seen any significant movement in that department only how many four republicans voted for it including to me susan collins and john mccain back in the day so it come on come on match you know this is a bunch of bs. And you know that you're doing this just to keep your job because west. Virginia will not have a liberal democrat. But we're talking about basically saving the country year. And i feel very sad for us and annoyed with him. Frankly sarah do you think mansion has a point. Yes and i don't think he's straddling offense. I think at the end of the day these elected officials have to actually represent the people that put him in which is why mansion often votes republican because his state is purple. If not a little more red like he that's who he's representing. So i think he has to vote in line with that. But i also think you have to step back from the actual at hand. Which i know is so important. I'm as angry as the next person about this. But what he's saying here. Is that when it comes to the importance of voting. He does not believe it should be down the party line purely because you're literally strong. Arming the whole the whole process which is what republicans are doing. I'm not. I'm not stupid to that at the state level. But what he's saying is you cannot swing the pendulum the other way and bang it down people's head for that and he's also defending this filibuster. Because i would argue that. He talks about in his ed. That absolute power corrupts absolutely which is not his words but he saying in the spirit of that that you cannot get rid of what allows the minority party in the in the government to not be able to push back and historically every party locks into loving the filibuster win it serves them. This pendulum will just keep going back and forth. I do wish though he would reconsider his vote for this particular bill because right now you're dealing with the republican party leadership acting in bad faith. You've got people that they just. They're not only rewriting. What happened on january six there. They won't even do a bipartisan commission. On that so and you've got mitch. Mcconnell literally saying one hundred percent of my focus is stopping this administration so the fact that republicans will leadership and government. People will fall in line every single time. You're not dealing with people coming to the table with the same good faith. You are right sunny. A mansion is talking about bipartisanship. Does he really think that that him working with them is going to show that as as what something that is. We can look forward to in the future mitch. Mcconnell has made it very clear that there is not going to be any bipartisanship mitch. Mcconnell said that one hundred percent of the republicans focus is to block the biden agenda one hundred percent of the focus and so it is not only naive to think that bipartisanship in the senate is possible. It is one hundred percent dead wrong. And let's think about what's happening in the states. You have three hundred eighty nine bills. Three hundred and eighty nine bills in forty eight states that would make it harder for their own residents to vote in upcoming elections. All of those bills have been put forth by republicans. Because they don't have agendas speak to the people so rather than have agendas that address the very real needs of americans they have decided to take the vote away from americans. They've decided to cheat. And the only way to address that is to address it federally and that is what this act does. And i think that joe mansion just has it wrong. And he's certainly. Has it wrong when it comes to the filibuster because what. He is really allowing as chris. Wallace mentioned is that he is now allowing the republicans to filibuster. And he's empowering them because now they know that joe manchin vote for the filibuster. And i will say this one last thing because i know i'm running out of time but martin luther king said years ago and we have the clip that the filibuster is often times used by misguided. Senators to block people from voting. And i'd like to roll that. I think the tragedy is that we have congress With a senate that has a minority of misguided senators who will use the filibuster to keep the majority of people from even voting. They won't let the majority of senators vote and suddenly they wouldn't want the majority of people to vote because they know they do not represent the majority of the american people in fact they represent own states. A very small minority. Megan should what what should democrats should they be upset with mansion or should they be looking at him as someone who has china lead forward thinking what your thoughts i have a few thoughts I could literally debate the filibuster for this entire show. But we're literally darrow time. So i'm gonna try and talk fast. Joe mansion was fascinating to me is the democrats would seem to have rather have a republican in the senate and joe manchin seat than have any moderates in my home state of arizona. Kristen cinema is also someone that came out and said that she wouldn't vote for the filibuster. Either i think mark kelly is also going to be someone that is more centrist..

So there will be a pairing between the flus coin, Aaron Quinn assuming it's traded on our exchange, and we're going to pair it based on the quickey based on the pricing across other exchanges were making sure we're pairing to the fair market value of that. So there's no arbitrage opportunities to cheat you or cheat us, but you want to pay with the Aaron old coin. So we would allow Aaron coffee to accept the Aaron old coin at his store whereby it's going into flu squint. So what's happening on a step by step processes, you're going from Aaron coin to flus square. Now we would only support Aaron coin based on if there's liquidity in there that we could get out because we need to then convert that either back to a higher volume coin, right? Unfortunately, for the Aaron coin, I think it's gonna be a little bit of time till this that goes online. Let the first way in that's with any old co. Join payment to then support are stable coin. Obviously, we're going to need to make sure we Pat it a little bit to protect us. On twenty twenty right back into news, the bizarre crime that captivated the country than California couple woken tied up in my God. What is this? She was kidnapped toss to do a truck. Only thing that I was thinking. Mom until he was left behind torture by pine games. Karen is worried that if he didn't stay within the confines of this red tape that the news would be killed, but almost worse. The police say they made it all up police, say the kidnapping was a hope, orchestrated hopes of possible. Kidnapping hopes there was a certain feeding frenzy on the hoax thing on the gone girl, ours cry. They went from, I tilted needs to be a hoax. He treated you like a criminal to realize that we're life is completely worthless to the people who are sworn to protect it. All this time and tell their true and tonight right here they do. He said, you know, I wish we would have met under different circumstances. Now the shock of who the kidnapper was and tonight a question and a warning was he working alone. The public is in danger and with we know that they're still out there stranger than fiction. I'm Elizabeth Vargas I'd be you're in. This is twenty twenty. Here's eighty Roebuck. Voice kept saying over and over again. Wake up. This is a robbery or not here to harm you. There were red laser beams pointing at them. They were flashes, bright lights. There were told to turn over rebound is it's wild. It reads like a movie script. The details are insane, and I could see red dot scanning the wall, and I thought. This is real, Aaron Quinn and Denise husking are sound asleep in their bed. It's three in the morning when intruders break into their dreams. And I remember thinking like God, this is a really bad nightmare that would face. They say, they hear men swarming their home. One comes into their bedroom, dressed in a black wetsuit. He's barking orders said, I'm going to leave some ties at the age of the bed and Aaron's going to put his hands behind his back. You're going to tie his hands behind his back and his feet together. He gets creepy. The man in black calls Aaron by his name, and he said to Aaron turnover, and I was named, yeah. And like that was another like, oh my God. What is this. He is weirdly courteous and complimentary. Any was encouraging me saying you're doing a good job continue saying you're being good victims. Yeah, asked if I was comfortable might, would you care Aaron in Denise are stuffed in a closet. Trust up with zip ties and blindfolded with blacked-out swim goggles headphones, playing, soothing music, or please to over there years. They're forced to chug a cocktail of cough syrup pleased with a powerful sedative, total sensory deprivation. I don't know a better word than terrifying because it wasn't just a robbery. And so you probably thought the end might be death? Yeah, I was convinced of it. We were helpless at that point, Aaron, here's a free recorded voice in his headphones reddening that if he resists Bill shocked with a stun gun or cut her face coldly informing him, this is a kidnapping. They're going to take Denise. They leave Aaron behind to raise the ransom to eighty five hundred dollar payments. They knew exactly what he could afford for surmount money that I could pay. If he asked for a million dollars. I immediately go to please. One shadowy abductor tosses Denise still bound hand and foot wearing those goggles and headphones in the trunk of a car and drives off into the dark of night. Before the violent invasion of their cozy life. Aaron and Denise might have considered themselves. The luckiest couple in Vallejo, California errands house is on mare island, a northern suburb of San Francisco, very safe neighborhood, new nice homes, white picket fence, Erin, Denise had it all good looks great careers in physical therapy and the thrill of a new romance. They just met seven months earlier way. Jokes at our first day wasn't really intended to be a first day. We were out with other therapists that we work with, and it was like, there was no one else. There just came natural. Our relationship was easy. And then the detest Raphy when Erin comes to Denise is gone, but he's not alone. There's a camera there and their tape marks on the ground to imprison him arid wakes up from the senator groggy and terrified. He says the kidnappers had marked off the section of the first floor living area with red tape and warned him stay within the lines or else. Confinement, and we will hurt the knees kidnappers telling me that they're gonna kill to me. If I go, the police are gonna kill my family. It is an agonizing decision, but finally, ten hours after his home was invaded and his girlfriend -ducted Erin makes what he says is the toughest call of his life. He dials nine one one, knowing he's gambling with Denise 's life. When I was dialing nine one, one, four, I think I might be killing her.
