It's a new recommendation for the U.S. preventative task force adjusting the age for breast cancer screenings in women should be lowered from 50 to 40 years old with black women more likely to die of breast cancer than white women. Doctor Carol mangion, an internist with UCLA health, says women with a BRCA genetic marker for breast cancer or a first degree relative who had breast cancer early like a sister or mother should be screened even earlier. "In the civil trial against former president Trump E Jean Carroll claims mister Trump raped her decades ago and defamed her when he called her allegation a lie Repeatedly for the jury, E Jean Carroll's attorneys said that she's here. She testified over the course of three days, and Trump was nowhere to be found, and in a civil case, the defendant deciding not to testify. Well, jurors can make a negative inference about that and Carol's attorneys tried to suggest that he wasn't here because he knows it's true. The defense said that Trump didn't come because he has nothing to say other than it didn't happen. ABC's Aaron kotze outside the courthouse in Manhattan. The question of whether or not former president Donald Trump will testify in his own defense in writer E Jean Carroll's civil defamation and battery case against him has been answered on the northwest news line ABC News senior investigative reporter Aaron kotze and Aaron, we got that answer from Trump's attorney, didn't we? Yeah, it had always been something of a mystery Brian whether Trump would actually show up to testify in his own defense and now we know that he won't. And his attorney was asked along with the plaintiff's attorneys to name their remaining witnesses, plaintiffs rattled off a few names in the defense attorney Joe tacopina mentioned just one name in the judge looked up and said, so this means mister Trump's not going to be coming. And correct tachypnea said. So Trump will not show up for his own trial, will not testify in his own defense. However, we do expect the jury to hear Trump in his own words through a videotaped deposition, plaintiff's attorney said they're going to play about 40 minutes worth of that tape and on it, Trump is heard saying things that appear to be at odds with some of the testimony so far. Now, do we know is that on the agenda for today or will we hear from others today? The trial is kind of winding down, but there's still a few more witnesses, including a psychologist who's on the witness stand talking about the lasting trauma that each eaten Carol appears to have endured from the alleged attack back in the 1990s. The jury is also going to hear from another woman, a second woman who also says that Trump assaulted her Natasha sto off as her name. She was writing an article for People magazine about Trump when she was down at Mar-a-Lago, says that Trump tried to assault her before he was interrupted. And that would be the second other woman that the jury has heard from as the plaintiffs try to show a pattern of alleged behavior that he denies. And then the jury is going to hear from a woman that Carol says she called after the alleged attack and who can it's hope by the plaintiff side corroborated her story. "From damaging winds to possible tornadoes and thunderstorms and parts of the Midwest could see a significant amount of snow, parts of Minnesota could see more than a foot today. Alec Baldwin's manslaughter charges related to the onset shooting while filming rust have been dropped more from ABC's Aaron kotze and Michelle franzen. Aaron Baldwin's attorneys have long said that they were going to fight these charges from the start. What's been their response so far? The attorneys say they're simply pleased that the prosecutors made the decision to drop the two counts of involuntary manslaughter against Alec Baldwin. They had said from the outset Baldwin had said from the outset in an interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos, that he didn't pull the trigger and had no reason to believe that there was a loaded round in the chamber. So I take the gun and I start to cock the gun. I'm not going to pull the trigger. I said, do you see that she was, well, just cheat it down and tilt it down a little bit like that and I cocked the gun and go, can you see that? Can you see that? Can you see that? And she says, and then I let go of the hammer of the gun and the gun goes off. And so he said he couldn't be held accountable for these charges because it just wasn't part of how he operates on a movie set. A person died because of this negligence because of this recklessness. The prosecutors in New Mexico said that Baldwin had been willfully dismissive of what are supposed to be standard safety protocols on movie sets when handling firearms and even if he didn't pull the trigger the theory of the charges was as the lead producer on the movie, he had a responsibility for everything. Lena and I had something profound and common. And that is we both assumed the gun was empty. His attorneys obviously challenged the theory of the case and now the prosecutors have decided to drop those charges. And where does the investigation into that shooting and the safety issues stand now? And is the movie sets armor are still facing charges? She is. And so now it all seems to fall on her as the one who handled the weapon that discharged and ultimately killed halena Hutchins, the cinematographer, and those charges remain. The way that prosecutors dismissed the charges allows them to bring them back in the course of doing additional investigative steps they find that their warranted again, but they need that time. Remember Michelle, the special prosecutor who was initially appointed to oversee the case resigned. Rereleasing a statement saying it has become clear that the best way I can ensure justice is served in this case is to step down so that the prosecution can focus on the evidence and the facts. There was a real question the defense had about whether she could fulfill her dual role as an elected legislator in New Mexico and also be a prosecutor and she resigned from the case new prosecutors came in and apparently decided to dismiss the charges. Still complicated from the criminal standpoint, but there's also been multiple civil suits against Baldwin, other producers and staffers, including from Hutchins husband. That one was settled, are there other civil suits? There are and probably will be. But for Alec Baldwin, the biggest threat to him beyond financial. It was the prospect of going to prison. And the charges, even though they had dropped a gun enhancement back in February, there was still the prospect of prison time over this, whether he would have actually gotten it, had he been convicted, that's a matter of debate and speculation.
