CNN Publishes Mother of All Kamala Harris Exposés

"So there's a couple stories that I want to try to put together here. But the first and the most interesting story quite honestly. And it's interesting in a way that you might think is the sudden and unexpected. Kind of shade war and stories that were coming out against cami. Against Kamala Harris. So late on Sunday evening on the front page of CNN were at least 6 or 7 different stories. 6 or 7 separate stories. That we're covering how The White House is at odds with one another. On the front page of CNN dot com last evening, here's where the headlines were this. Harris struggles with her relationship with Biden. Vice president's team tries the distance herself from fraught situation at the border. Harris looks to turn page as she zeros in on voting rights. White House goes into damage control after reports of dysfunction in Kamala Harris's office. 5 stories against Kamala Harris on the front page of CNN dot com. Exasperation and dysfunction inside Kamala Harris's frustrating start as vice president. Now, this is not Fox News dot com. This is not zero hedge dot com. Is that breitbart dot com? This is CNN dot com. That is reporting this. Worn out by what they see as entrenched dysfunction, and a lack of focus Key West west wing aides have largely thrown up their hands at vice president Kamala Harris. And her staff deciding there simply isn't time to deal with them right now. Especially at the moment, when president Joe Biden faces quickly multiplying legislative and political concerns. I continues by saying defenders and people who came for Harris are getting frantic. When they're annoyed, some pass around recent onion stories, mocking her lack of substantive work, one with the headline, quote, White House urges Kamala Harris, the Senate computer all day in case emails come through. When they're depressed, they bat down the Aaron Sorkin style rumor that Biden might try to replace her by nominating her to a Supreme Court vacancy. That chatter has already reached the top levels of Biden orbit, according to one person who's heard it. She is perceived according to CNN dot com to be in a weak position. That top Democrats in and outside of Washington have begun to speculate privately. Her job as number two is to be helpful and supportive to the president and to take work on he asks and who asks her to be intelligence briefing. This is a multi page hit piece. Double sided by the way. CNN dot

"On an issue that I have covered regularly the vaccine regularly should say the virus and all its ramifications vaccines included. Aaron Syria lawyer who has followed this greatly and been involved in it legally CDC admits crushing rights of naturally immune without proof they transmit the virus. After formal demand, and I saw the formal demand. It's a freedom of information act demand. After formal demand the CDC concedes it does not have proof of a single instance of a naturally immune individual spreading the virus. I saw it. It's so incredible this piece of news, and of course it won't be reported in denying media. That was the truest thing that Donald Trump said in his four years. And he said, many true things, by the way, the lying media is like its treatment, remember, what was that Catholic boy's name in Washington, D.C.? Anyway, remember that the Catholic boy? This written house is really chapter another chapter in that, or like the white, the white lacrosse players at duke. The media lie to you that every day by omission or co mission. They lied about me. That I denied that gaze have been pariahs during the aids crisis. It's a 100% law. You could read my statement. But because I also said, or because I said that the unvaccinated are also pariahs who, this set them off. The left owns all victimhood. There are no victims. Aaron Rodgers has been a great ambassador for our company, for much of the past decade, a company spokesman said in a statement to USA Today, sports Monday morning. We don't support some of the statements he has made but we respect his right to his own personal point of view. Do you know how rare that is in America? This was the most common thing, said in the United States about speech. We may not agree with you but we respect your right to have a different opinion.

Monoclonal Antibodies Provide Long-Term Protection Against COVID-19 -- So Why Is This a Left-Right Thing?

"Thing yet. Are you tired of everything in America becoming a left right debate? Everything everything is a left right. Everything is us versus them. Monoclonal antibodies is a right left thing. Everybody's mad at Aaron Rodgers because he suggested that monoclonal antibodies is an effective treatment for COVID. And so the left is mad at him, and now a new study comes out even confirming more that it's an effective treatment. For COVID, there's a brand new study out. Again, seems to completely confirm what everybody's been saying about things like monoclonal antibodies. And used to use the things you scratch you and you say, why is that right left? Who cares if you're a Democrat or a Republican? Regeneron's monoclonal antibody drug that's used to treat COVID may also be highly effective at preventing people from catching the virus in the first place. The company announced this week. Regeneron announced that it's monoclonal antibodies reduced the risk of contracting COVID-19 by 81.6%. Compared to a placebo group in a long-term study. Until now, monoclonal antibodies have only been used to treat patients who have already contracted COVID-19, not as a preventative measure. They're saying that Regeneron works long-term as a prophylactic. Sign me up.

"The mason minute. With Kevin mason. As we celebrate Veterans Day, I'm thinking about the world we live in and role models. We've been told for years, we shouldn't look to celebrities. We shouldn't look to athletes to be role models. That discussion has come up a lot about Aaron Rodgers the last couple of days about how he's not a role model. I don't know if you ever wanted to be or not. That's always a discussion too, as to whether these people, whether their actors, whether their athletes, whether their celebrities want to be role models. But as it is Veterans Day, do we use our service men and women to be role models? Who do we look to? Who do we aspire to as children? I know in a perfect world we aspire to be like our parents, but as we've also learned, some parents, you don't want to aspire to. I've had people I look to, whether they were athletes whether their celebrities, whether they were real people. There are always role models. They're always people who looked up to, at the end of the day, role models are more about morals. And sadly, there aren't a lot of people to look up to these days, especially in a time when role models would be a great thing. Who do we look to? I don't know the answer to the question. I don't have kids, so it doesn't impact me directly, but it's still something I'm very concerned about.

He's, you know, he's Terry Bradshaw he's a character, right? Big NFL star and longtime veteran studio analyst, okay, it's Terry Bradshaw. Lovable Terry, right? We'll lovable Terry shouldn't get to lie. Why does Terry Bradshaw get to get away with a an absolute complete provable debunked lie? You know the story by now, Aaron Rodgers is now dirt. "But i run out of ways to explain how special this player is into be in that stadium which was during that game to feel what he means to not only that team but to that city. I can't think of anybody else. That's more important to their team in their city in our organization than lamar jackson. Bring jeff dan on this and as i do so let me show everybody. Dominic was there and you brought. Your son was first ever game sydney. let's roll. That will quick. That's a beautiful that what's his name declan. I'm i'm pretty proud of. We had a good time at the game but my wife just text me and said that he was faking a sore throat so he didn't have to go to school today. So maybe he's home to see this. I guess we'll see one way or another. He was there to see lamar jackson. Trust is his favorite player. Based they're making the big play at the end you covered that and one of the things that you were telling us in our meeting. This morning was how much his teammates believe in him and look up to him. That's the thing being there. You talk about that non analytical kind of stuff that. i don't know how you could have been there on sunday and not gotten that and again even post game in the news conference is talking to players before and after they get there. They're absolutely in love with this young player and they believe in him to an extent that is you know. I think a lot of players. A lot of quarterbacks around the league spend their whole careers trying to reach and he is. I think that was the key component of sunday night was this was a major psychological and emotional hurdle for this team that it was able to clear under incredibly adverse circumstances. I would say galvanized them and brought them together. I think they were already there. What do you think jeff. what are you saying. Listen this guy is just next level. When you think about lamar jackson. He didn't have an agent. Didn't have the deal doesn't complain about. It goes out and plays right like you think about all the guys why they wanna play. He's probably the most authentic football player. We have in the game right now right at every conference. He's showers praise on his teammates. And he takes chris and criticism so he say he don't play patrick behold be at the same time but he takes all that doesn't ever say hey passed the blaine man. Like what this guy. Does you talk about why. How teams are forged. This is what true leadership looks like and everybody on that football team believes. He's the best player on the field every sunday. We'd be looking back on that game as kind of when that became a lead quarterback and his rookie year and since then he's only gotten better time after time and kind of answered the question. So i think he's someone who you can trust someone who's normally quite healthy and i don't want to catch the heat from tad i hear you. I don't know if i agree with the pick. And i like to think all right the next one through two weeks of this season. Which team have you been more wrong about than any other in the lead washington. I live in dc. I remember last year towards the end of the season. We started projecting next year. And i was like this could be a super bowl team. Yeah because i saw chase young. And i remembered how von miller was the draft pick that kind of propelled the broncos to win a suit bowl. Manning was no longer good in the point. I was making was. You don't have to get a first round quarterback order to propel your team. You need to get a superstar somewhere and rookie prices and that could propel your team. And i thought this defense was going to be outstanding but it seems like so far. This defense might be a little bit of fool's gold. They beat up a bad quarterbacks last year with that great defensive line and we haven't really seen them show show up and take over the way. I thought they would dominique eighty-two marcus on one side i got you on the other side. We'll see it's a long season last one which one player and the nfl is the most important to his team. That's the easiest one. I thought he's supposed to be hard questions. Lamar jackson by. It's so easy. You look at the game last week and it's not just that game but that game was perfect. Distillation of how important is suing team offensive line with injuries. Not very good receivers all hurt running wrong routes slipped and falling to first quarter interceptions. Defense doesn't have any. Db's they can't play solid defense that they wanna play. They can't seem to get a stop somehow. Tend to lean away from these kind of platitudes about guys. Just wanted more just making it happen..

"Romo was an undrafted kid coming out of college. You budget was the number one pick in the draft. Bill made that decision. This is the reverse situation and they just unwilling to do it. In the meantime an entirely different quarterback situation in pittsburgh where the offensive line for the steelers is a significant problem. Trying to protect the thirty nine year old ban rama's burger this year. Big band has taken fifteen hits inside the pocket through two games at the fourth. Most of any quarterback this year and they're forcing burger to changes entire approach. He's currently has average time of two point. Three seconds before throwing the ball. The quickest among quarterbacks since last year sunday was the epitome of at all big band hit. Ten times by the raiders. Pass rush in which they did not attempt to single blitz brian clark yesterday here on ghetto then robbins burgers in a position where he's going to stand in the pocket because he understands that he needs to win now but that may be to his detriment because he won't make it seventeen games as he was saying that jeff. You're nodding percent listen. You can't have the shortest time of the ball coming out of your hands and still get hit fifteen fourth most league. That just doesn't compute and when you look at their rushing attack. They were last in the league last season. Their last league due to Two weeks of this season like there's not a lot of good signs trending towards rothlisberger making it through the season. I mean he is taking shots and listen crosby flat out god after him and he's a good pass rusher and all those things you can't do any more than the steelers are doing to protect been. He can't protect himself when everybody's just getting through the offense. I mean. get dolphins of lonzo. I'm telling you it's a scary situation. Because as good as their defense is their offense is dragging lagging. So much concerned hits. Help but definitely not want to ask you this question. Because you are the offensive lineman in this group. But every other element of that offense the wide receivers cutting back that they drafted the tight. End the quarterback. Even if he's not what he wants was he's obviously he knows what he's doing out. There can the offensive line. Get better as the season goes on because everything else they have. Is that minimum. Why are you shaking your head at me. You're right to be critical of the offensive line. But i'm a stand up for my hogs upfront. Like jeff won't boroughs burgers bad no matter. What the circumstance anyway. He has a qbr thirty eight win in the pocket and not pressure so go ahead protect them is still going to be poop bike. I don't know what you have. Ben thing as much as it is aligned. No i think it's both i feel sorry for the playmakers that they have on the edge because they have some real legitimate receivers and nausea harris. Seems like a special player. That defense is awesome but that lies not good. But but but here's your concern and i agree with you. Ben is not playing well. He understands that as well. But here's the problem quarterbacks by nature once they start getting hit us to say this all the time about peyton about. Tom brady about drew brees. All you gotta do is make it move off their spy. There is dropped down because of pressure. All the sudden they are ineffective quarterbacks. That's what's happening. You kind of you heard people say you're they're seeing ghost. Didn't sam donaldson day. Because that's real quarter you and when you see them all your play down so you can't just lay. There got act. I then let me see what you burger. Isn't those guys that's how bins always played been uncomfortable or presser. He kind of six dang near forty health and wanting to be healthy changes..

"Because i was like who from upper management told him a clear zoya go. Yeah go make sure this is cleared up but bras is our guy he clears things. Here's the deal with with what matt nagy is doing. And i'm so tired of having a visceral reaction to this because he obviously wants. Andy dalton to beat a guy to start and i don't know if i'll only thing i keep coming back to fellas. This is something that justin feels is doing is telling matt nagy. He's not ready. Is this something that he are. Matinee doesn't understand about just the feel skill set. that's telling him he's not ready to play. Because we all watching this. We're all watching just feels plate. And yeah i knew he. I know he threw Interceptions but when you are when you're preparing for a week you are not preparing for that particular quarterback calling plays for that particular quarterback. That was a tough situation for just fields to come in and do and even vet. We saw the juice and energy from this offense. So i don't know what promises were made. I don't know what type of relationship matinee has. We're andy dalton and the don't literally we don't know if he's healthy and the mayo won't even name just the fields to start this week or at least say we prepare just into get ready to start the game. I have no idea outside of the fact that justin feels should be playing for the chicago bears. I ain't getting off debt but there's something or some kind of relationship they for them to keep the dog in their star. You know this isn't sanity when you think about you. People say well we'll start on the six game or the fourth game or whatever game when everybody gives their genius ideas of when you should start a rookie quarterback. He's not getting better watching like what you saw when he walked in the game. Andy don't get hurt. That's what you'll see again because he's not preparing. He's not taking all fifty four snaps of all -fensive of offensive play calling during the week. He's not taking all those things. The red zone. He's not taking short yardage goldline right so you throw him in a game. Expect them to do these things. And you're not going to get a different result. Like he has to be the guy that's getting the practice reps. That was my whole point. You should bubble wrap. Justin feels what. You're not doing that. Two trevor lawrence. You're not doing. It does that wilson. You're not so as you're having these conversations. I don't understand the process of what you're saying. Justin feels by going yet. We take an eighty percent. Andy dalton over one hundred percent you by the way we drafted you move up because we thought you'd be better for our offense at some point you gotta let him be your guy and understand. The situation is right. Let it happen beyond the mechanics of the press conference. I mean what are what are people saying about this every former player. I know perplexed by so inside the building. What they're saying is they have a plan for justin field. They have since they draft him. Something matt nagy wants to wants to see something he hasn't seen or wants to get to some sort of milepost that he hasn't got to yet before he decides that justin fields is ready. And that's that's that's what it is market are you alright. Dodges are just like this. This situation has made me feel helpless. I've never felt helpless on tv before. But i feel health. This may like nothing about what i know about. Football is in correlation with this particular choice like nothing literally nothing and maybe it is the former player in me and jeff and all of the guys. That's talking about this situation because we are more about what we see. When i saw tony romo practicing and killing our number one defense in dallas in scout team and in practice we was like he better than drew bledsoe. The poor sales played him because he was like. I just don't understand man. laying paint..

"We are back on. Get up and it's time for dan. Grozny auto hand overreaction tuesday so i'll some statements you tell me if they are overreaction. The first tom brady is about to have his best season ever. It's not an overreaction. By where we allowed to do this or is that roger's gonna be reacting too much. It's not an overreaction. He is set up. Nine touchdown passes to his first two games. That went on. Page seventy seven touchdowns. I looked it up. That would be a record. I doubt he holds that taste but the group around him is such that he is set up for success at an entirely different level. The next one. Jon gruden and the raiders have finally figured things out. Is that an overreaction. I think for now. It is an overreaction. They played extremely well. We like everything we've seen from them. The problem is since gruden got back there in the current guten tenure. They have not finished seasons well. They're five and ten december january game under leading the second time around so we've got to see it hold up over the course of a season so far so good but it's an overreaction to say they'd solve the problem because one of the problems is finishing through one point if i sent the cowboys the nfc east favorites again. What would that be. That's not an overreaction. Look if you like to talboys coming into the season they haven't given you any reason not to like them. They've looked good in both games at got solid offense of game plans in both games. Obviously they lost a tough one of the buccaneers in week. One but you probably have them winning that one anyway. I'm going to pick a different team in the nfc every single week. That's the way to approach this division. I think the cowboys are good. Good well let's talk about them a little more. Ofek nice road win in la on sunday but it did not come without controversy. You know what happened at the very end with a timeout in his pocket. Mike mccarthy opting to bleed the clock down to four seconds and settle for fifty six yard field goal to win it. Here is mccarthy yesterday trying to further explique big inexplicable box. We're anticipating them calling a time out there so But then we had one of our guys went outside the numbers and so at that point. We you know we got to this seventeen second threshold. And that's when the of this never seen that happen to clock. The clock. And i was looking at what keller was blocked by clock. He said he was looking at next year's nine seconds left so we got it. Done the clock on the overhead board. Or does it anymore. I mean i always think missing from that is what had happened. Was you could feel. The lie is spilling out. And if i was a player like i want want accountability. Just ended up and say my bad guys. Missile happen again because we make mistakes. And that's what you expect from us. Those poor guys. Hey hey jason garrett now they got this esco Hope they get a coach in there. That is properly prepared for every situation. There's clocks all over the place. There's no way at camera guy blocked off a coach. Those those benches are. Are you see the lines drawn if a camera guy wonders it. One of those yellow lines going to tackle him. I'm just not buying mccart. And my other question is like he's not calling the offense. He's not calling the defensive. He's not watching the clock like the member office space. What would you say you do exactly what is so. I don't get it. I've been waiting for forty eight hours to ask. Marcus spears beloved former cowboy his perspective on the way the clock management was handled at the end of the game on sunday lawyers logically. And that's mike mccarthy is doing right now this camera situation listen these dudes wearing a two billion dollars. Three billion dollars state. It's another clock in the state five. Sorry five billion dollars state and missing another damn clock in the stadium. I'm looking at the game. I'm thinking to myself mike. Mccarthy is mike mccarthy Trying to go to overtime. What the hell is he doing. Does he want to see the team. Play some more. I couldn't for the life of me understand what was happening in this moment. I really thought fillers. Like i really thought it was a clock malfunction. I was like just skip like ten seconds like did something happened in the stadium where where the clock malfunction no. The clock didn't malfunction. Mike mccarthy brought brain glitched glitch in the most important time of the day. He just lost his coaching status in that moment. Here's what i will say though as mad as i was about. My record has detained looking good. And i don't know if i don't know i don't know if this clock situation is going to overtake the fact that the dallas cowboys look a hundred times better than they look last year. And i know it was a lotta extenuating circumstances but the bottom line is your clock management. Better not call my damn team but gained at some point during the year so hopefully this is the mess up that transpired and this the end of it. We need clocks on now risk. We run out. We need clocks everywhere when the dallas cowboys play because obviously nobody on coaches staff clock was working they live. that's markets. let's get to your second and perhaps in the big picture much more important point. I'm just going to say two words and you give me your reaction mica. Parsons ooh top tea and defensive player in the league right now as a rook and the fact that he was able to go out and play defensive in and have more precious in this game in bolsa against the offense of land that we lauded With the la chargers on how they did last week. This dude is unreal. Now i heard talk about moving him to defensive. You better not do it. You better leave him in the middle of his defense with arrange with the speed. That may close on justin. Herbert now is bad. Call about a risk. But did y'all see the athleticism and you listen. People have no idea how hard it is to go from stand-up linebacker to defensive in in the nfl and be affected and he figured out a way to do it. Top tier difference blair league right now. There's some guys in this league. That are just physically better than everybody else that you can move them around you. See that lamar jackson. You see that with jalen ramsey where they move him to the inside to get him to be able to make plays mike. Parsons had seven pass. Rush winds von miller. Eight chase young has seven those people in his neighborhood and he hadn't played that before. This is only the second game in the league. I'm excited about this. Deepens can be going forward. They played a little bit at the edge. Rusher in can't just to see if he can do it. But now the because demarcus lawrence went out so in a pinch he picks it up in a week has a joey bosa level game. That's that's the reality of the situation. Is that with dan. Quinn in there was the coordinator of the big question was the defense. We all knew they would be a good offense looked. Albeit they gave up four touchdown passes to go no defense better right. No foxy foxy grise. Don't let him do it. don't let them do it. Let him stay with his damn watching the football team. Don't say cowboys greenie. I don't want to hear anything about weeding. Expect nothing i told you. Donald before the season started. And you didn't want to miss it. You stay with not okay. Tila heineke balled out. But i love it. Looks at markets we will see. It is a long season a week. So far your end of this looks a lot better than my cooking breakfast. I'm jeff saturday's got the pancakes. That is a tuesday staple utah club. Why go do you feel one in case you pay case three pancake. It is a tuesday staple on this program. Jeff saturday handing pancakes for all those big hands. The offensive line puts on people. Jeff take by the.

"Markets looks nonplussed. Go ahead markets. What did you think of that. Y'all beat the lions bro. Like i mean that's the elephant in the room. You bounce back. Everybody expected you to play. Will aaron rodgers but that'd be the lines and i watched the last beat themselves a lot like on fourth and one week. That's a great play by the corner. But why the hell wouldn't you be throwing the ball to who've been killing people all night loan. Why wouldn't you do that. So look i get it. We all talked about rods and bounce back games and bad performs is but you lost thirty eight three to the sights. It wasn't an overreaction. You got pace kick did today so now you beat the detroit lions which everybody big. Judy knew everybody thought green bay will win this game and based on what they did from an offensive standpoint. That's what we expected that defense. I still got a lot of questions. Who are the trolls that he's talking about. All i heard last week was people like me in these little stupid boxes spelling. Relax every on. Aaron rodgers inside so i'm happy for him. It's fun to come out there and stick chess out after you do something good but i mean why are you coming down on us you with the interesting part of that is that there was a time when it was very fashionable star athletes to say. I don't pay any attention to what the critics say. Now we've gone one hundred eighty degrees away from that. Rogers is obviously paying attention to what people are absolutely enlisted from a guy who was played with a chip on his shoulder for seventeen years because he dropped the draft. You know fun motivation. If he has to find it in a troll or whatever else. This is aaron rogers. The packers need because to their point. The deepest still didn't play great. Aaron rodgers to them and keep them and he's playing angry has monthly. Like why.

"And that big swaggie. Marcus spears is ready to go as well. He's going to provide security for some quarterbacks out there and speaking of quarterbacks we begin with the show last night ain't titletown lambofield aaron rodgers and the reeling packers off. But we guan disaster taking on the lions and the lions came to play last night middle of the second quarter. Seven seven game. Jared goff looking for tj hodkinson naked. The corner marrying is some good news in in the second. But that gives a dime a hell of a ball. From jared goff. Hopkinson had eight catches on the night. Lions up fourteen seven but back. Calm the packers down in swearing area. The fourteen yard line. It's aaron aaron jones down to the goal line and stopped short right there so they go to the two minute warning. They come right out and why not go. Aaron to aaron again for the second touchdown of the night roll past never fails on the goal line. Nice job aaron to aaron once again celebrating heinz field over detroit. Up three at the half. Now you're about to see too unreal throws from allen. Rogers here's the first. That's not fair the db's doing all they can do. You just got going. Shake his hand after that one in lineup. Try to stop again. But the problem is when this might even be better target for the touchdown here might be better. How about that diamond. Wait till you see the other angle. Eric can't even see who throw into at that. He's my own safety. Dan standards not too many in history. Look he knows it. Packers up twenty one seventeen next line drive four fourth and one. They're going forward and they don't pick it up. I like the idea to go forward but the dv up. I love to see that from a young guy like stokes and that turn the opportunity over. And i look at this play rogers off balance davante adams off balance. You need to see both ends of this again. That's just two all pros that has thought that's called having faith in confidence and your plate maker. Put it in the field and let them work. Rogers with wrote for two fifty five and four touchdowns including this one here for aaron jones is third of the game and the bakken starting to pull away and then it gets ugly on a rainy night next play. Jam saturday we got a wet ball. And we got a fumbled snap. Do wet ball drill. This is no joke with pregnancy with peyton manning in indianapolis. You've got to do it. Don't the ball at a five gallon bucket. That ball hits the quarterback hands splits right through some all here. Golf balls dr jeff. Something like that. There's jones again taking a name. For his record tying four touchdown of the game as many as anyone ever had on a monday night lodgers in the packers get right. They pull away and win. I think that there's there's even more now than when i started playing this. So many overreactions. That happened on a week-to-week basis. So it's nice to to come out have a good performance and get the trolls off back for at least a week. I think people like to say a lot of and it's nice to come back in here after a game like that. What well isn't that interesting..

"Most moms will never have meeting her little girl saying hello and saying goodbye without knowing if it's a see you soon farewell or goodbye for good third to talk about. But a lot of people live their babies and they get like childbirth. No matter what is not like we see the influencers on instagram. Portray it to be so. There's that but with that. Said people still get the chance after they go through all of it to hold their baby as a human in a bed without anything and for me. She looks like this alien. That just like roldan covered covered in lights and courts and stuff and we were told she may not survive the life flight so that might be the only time i ever see her and it was just kind of like by like there. She was this alien baby child that came out in the most traumatic way that i am saying goodbye to and nothing is happy. Like nothing's happy it's not like oh well everybody's crying tears of joy because baby phone is here. Everybody is crying tears of terror because sloan is barely alive and there are about to take her to a hospital. Where who knows what's gonna happen next. The super graphic but i was touching phones hand and throwing up into a bag as i was coming out of the sedation like it was like like none of it was pretty my mom's crying because she's terrified. My doctor is talking to erin about next plans. Aaron was told. Don't get on the helicopter because if sewn dies you shouldn't be there to see bad. It's going to be hard like we're having these conversations. Not like what's her name. She's seven pounds eleven ounces. It was like if she dies. We need to be prepared for this okay. Instead of writing in the helicopter with sloan. aaron goes with carey's dad to meet his new daughter at the children's hospital and carries mom stays with her and she would get me up every day. I would be in my bed asleep. And all of sudden i would hear kerry kerry and she would wait till doctors left because doctors are wonderful but may not push as hard as you can be pushed in my mom's opinion so my mom would wait until the doctors left. And then she would be towering over into that kerry kerry kerry kerry. Just walk. Just walk two feet. Walk two feet. You can do it. Just walk two feet. And so i'd be like okay. Okay so i would get up and walk to fee. And then i would sit down and be like good job. You did a good job and she would push me push me push me and i swear that's reason i got out of there because i remember the doctor saying like wow you got out so fast and like yeah because my mom was in here and she would give me a frigging break. She kept making me walk. Sloan is in the nick. You the neonatal intensive care unit for three months. She's a medically complex..

"I have this great picture of aaron. Where one day i was in bed and i was like i hate this. I just remember. Aaron walked and i was like this is the worst. I hate every minute of it. I never want to be pregnant again. And i just went on forever and i was like i feel ugly. I feel terrible and this just speaks and but he makes the creek but she was like being erin he likes cream. he's like and he like jumped behind me. Imbed because i was like on bed rest and he squeezed so tight. And here's like look and he pulls out his funny started t- selfish of us and he was like you look great and he's like just think you have another human inside of you that's gonna pop out a week like give yourself a break dude. And he was again treating me like a human not like some gentle creature. Those gonna you know. Mike die at any moment after two weeks of bedrest to realizes one day that she can't feel sloan anymore. She's just not moving around in there. This is scary and carry rushes to see her doctor. And learns that sloan's heart rate is tanking and they need to do an emergency. C section right now kerry calls her mom her dad in just like at that twenty week ultrasound. The whole family starts rolling in to help carey doesn't remember the actual birth doctors weren't able to get her numb enough to do the c section while she was lucid so they had to put her under general anesthesia but aaron was there and afterward he catches carry up on what's happening with their daughter and they pulled sloan out and she wasn't breathing. They had to intubate her so they called the nicotine down. They were unsuccessful. The first five times and erin was watching all of this go down. And then on the fifth time they were able to intubate and it was very apparent once was born. There was a lot more going on than we ever imagined. Or new from like ultrasounds and the funny part is i told aaron. We made an agreement that if something happens with sloan he goes with so no matter. What and not worry about me and i told him no matter what happens that he needs to take pictures and so poor. Aaron love him dearly. He is standing there crying as they're trying to intubate sewn taking pictures on my camera because you end. Would somebody asked him. I promise gary i would take pictures. Carrie laughs about it now because when traumatic awful things happen laughing about it. Even morbidly kennedy healing. It can be the only way that you can tell a story but back to the serious stuff. The medical team gets loan intimated that she's breathing with help. They decide her. Chances at survival will be better if she takes a life flight to that. Specialized children's hospital in carey is about to experience. A surreal moment..

"His religious upbringing wasn't truth for him anymore and he was seeing a lot of discrepancies and problematic things within the culture and the religion itself and he was having a hard time. Sort of like crossing that bridge and sticking with that for him so erin quickly became very mashed my family and very close to my mom and very close to my dad my dad in and would play music together all the time they would talk and science and they just shared a lot and really aaron grew is an adult in a lot of ways. My parents became almost like his emotional adult parents especially as he sort of started to grow. Apart from his family fit he was close to as a child. There was one day in particular. Nor i came home from work and i walked in and mom was at her computer. She didn't even look at me and she was like. You can sleep in the chair tonight. And i was like why and she said erin hard day at home. He's in your bed. You can sleep in the chair and that just kind of speaks to like i mom and errands relationship. How much my family loved aaron. And then on top of that. The experience is erin was having in his own home that sort of lake impacted him in a way that he felt like he needed to escape. Clean to be somewhere else. Things would carry an errand get serious very quickly and people love to shit on young love. I do it sometimes. I get it but sometimes you meet someone when you're a kid and you're lucky enough that it really is your person a person you can grow up with grow alongside of sometimes. You're just that lucky. My friend jia is just that lucky kerry erin. Were just that lucky and anyone who dated me when i was under the age of twenty. Seven is lucky. They didn't end up with me seriously. But aaron and carry are different. Aaron and kerry make sense and so they do something that would seem not sensible to a lot of us and so i just remember saying aaron one day like hey. I'm going to go to college. Do you think we should probably just get married. If you wanna go with me. And then he was like yeah probably. That's a good idea. i'd like to go. And i was like cool and then get married then. Okay it was just kind of like that zero romance. It went from like you know dreamy. Aaron was the romantic one so went from like dreamy. Romance city maybe like hey do you wanna get married. Yeah that'd be good okay. Great okay great. The wedding is on. Carey's family is supportive errands family. Not so much to giving idea of like the wedding itself as aaron was walking down the aisle. His grandma basically yelled it's not too late to turn back now. So that was kind of the general sentiment and aaron was mortified. Aaron was mortified. And i remember. I wasn't paying attention to my phone. But i had a text from him later. The basically said like we need to wrap up the wedding soon as possible and get out and so that night we were just like you know. Wrap up the wedding kind of be done. And we've got to our hotel. Which again were nineteen so. It was like this local like small hotel in nineteen. Oh my god yes like. How many dr peppers you want babe i know. That's no. that was exactly it. We have some wild sexy like you know Wedding nine yeah. We just had prom homecoming. And i'm not kidding. You when i say our wedding night was spent crying sitting on our bed eating the snacks from our wedding. Because we were so overwhelmed like that was our wedding and major cringe but also like it. Sucked it sucked. It sucks and i just remember erin saying i just want to be different than damn. I don't wanna treat people like this. I want to grow beyond this. And he wanted so badly he wanted so badly to be something different and to create a world in which he felt like he was giving back and doing something. You know that that had meaningful impact on the world. Aaron had the best relationship. We became the same person. There is nothing beyond that i like. I could go on forever about aaron. I could go on forever about our relationship. I kicked his ass halo but thanks to him because he taught me. We were your average couple. We watched office on repeat every single day and call it a personality trade just like everybody else on the face of the earth. Eventually he got me onto. John mayer but i still refused to listen to daughters. We were married for thirteen years. We had sort of a bucket list of things we wanted to do. Both graduated college. We worked at the same companies for like almost the entirety of our marriage. We were just beyond like these weird pockets of our life. That are kind of dark. We really had the brightest most magical life and relationships. I mean we traveled. We lived a pretty mundane privilege typical life. We would go to starbucks every morning. We had our basic starbucks orders. And you know that was it. And i think like when you think about like what a good life is and i just. I don't know there's so much emphasis on like what's the biggest thing like blah entrench the beauty of life the joy of life. All the best stuff in life is in just the absolute mundane. Nothing more glorious nothing. Nothing glorious than a nice life. The no eons starbucks order them than being in a routine so predictable you could settle watch too. It is yes that is to me. What a good life is. What a good marriage marriages We'll be right back we get support from kara. Feeling your best starts with you. Eat and sikora makes it so easy. I have been very honest with all of you for.

"It's basically the stuff of every late nineties. Early odds teenage rom com minus all of the misogyny homophobia transphobia races of those late nineties. Early thoughts. teenage around comes do not stand the test of time. Do not watch them with your children. It is very jarring but the point is carries head over heels. The way any high school senior would be. I was never raise ever ever ever with the idea that like i needed to get married as part of my identity or that i needed to like have a partner or a man or you know if anything i was like probably not even realizing at the time this budding feminist of like i don't need a man i i had this great plan of becoming a paleontologist and traveling the world with my dogs like that's kind of what my plan was. Aaron came along. And so i remember telling my mom. My mom always joked about this. One day that i met a boy and my mom was like you met a boy like you because i was just so like not in the realm of like i or did he meet him for someone else. Thanks for you watched him from a distance with which one no exactly. And i think just mom knowing me and like just me being me. She was like you are we sure. Are we sure about this errands. Upbringing was very very different. From carey's carries was filled with adventurers and love and laughter and silliness. An aaron grew up in a complicated. How sold it was very religious. He had close to a dozen siblings and because of his childhood aaron relates a lot to kerry's parents he wrote in a rural kind of small town area and aaron just became enmeshed with my mom and dad. He was my dad's best friend and my mom loved aaron more than kassian. I like caffeine. I joke about it but truly my mom gave a presentation one time and she introduced aaron and then skipped over me. Cassie like that's how much aaron and so when it comes to like our family differences related to my parents and their life experience in a way that i think like i don't even know if kassian i quite understand and i think he. My mom shared a lot of experiences and stories together that they just related to on a deeper level and his family dynamics for him became very complicated. And this is something right kind of just speak from his experience and knowing how he felt and what i was seen from my end but simply because like one he was a lot of time with us but also because aaron was experiencing a growth and a past it i think was something that his family and his upbringing didn't expect him. Aaron for a long time head fell late..

"We leave the mexican food restaurant and we go to a gas station. And i'm in one car with his best friend at the time and he's in another car with his date for homecoming and his best friend at the time gets out goes into the gas station and then aaron and aaron state gets in and goes to the gas station so i am in one car and aaron is in another car by must pause here because i at the time was obsessed with moulin rouge and i was obsessed. I would listen to the soundtrack all the time. of course. aaron didn't know this. So i'm sitting in the car and waiting for my date to come back out of the gas station so is aaron and i suddenly hear your song from moulin rouge rouge version. Being sung to me. I mean this is like major cringe but also like again i am. I am a giant waterfall. Nothing yeah. I know i know. And imagine the hair. And he was dressed up for homecoming. He had the most amazing voice and he was in like our star choir. He always had the lead in musicals like he was a drama kid. Choir kid too and i hear the singing and like it sounds so dramatic but i can remember slowly turning my head like what the actual fuck. This can't be happening. And i roll down my window and i look over. And he has his window world down and he's leaning out of it. Smiling singing your song to me. And i just like smiled and i was speechless. I was just like this. Is my dream come true. He also doesn't give a fuck. I'm like dude your date man and what.

"This is good because that will lead into the next this trauma train moving trauma train moving out. Don't your the train your medium all my gosh. That should be me. I'm nora mcnerney in. This is terrible. Thanks for asking and that was me talking with today's guest. Carry about one of our mutual favourite topics taurama. and if. You haven't been traumatized yet. I want you to just sit tight and know that it is coming. It's common for you baby and if you have been traumatized you know that. Sometimes that's how you get through it. You get kind of weird. Give make some weird jokes and then when you're with another person who gets it it just energize you and today's guest has a really happy voice. She has good energy and she also has rough story and like a lot of people. Carry story starts before she and her sister. Cassie even exist when their parents have their first daughter hayley when haley was born. My mom had a lot of health issues and she was life flighted to denver hospital. Haley was born. She died the next day. She died in my dad's arms. It was really traumatic for them. And one of those life altering experiences haley short life had a long term impact on carries parents and the children they hadn't even had yet. It's a stunning and staggering loss. That propels them into realizing that they want a different kind of life from the one that they had as kids that they want to give their future kids the kind of childhood they didn't have they want to escape their judgmental patriarchal small town life in colorado. They want a life. Without limits for their kids less scrutiny disapproval more possibility and preece. So when i look at haley in the experience with haley and how that shaped mom and dad it was almost a sense of empowerment because mom and dad grew up in a world where they really were kind of in their own way. I don't wanna say oppressed by any means. But they had this experience where there was a set expectation. For example my mom was raised in a very sexist world. Her expectation was to just become a mom become a housewife cooked. The meals and kind of settled down and she wanted more for her life. She wanted an education. She wanted you to make change in the world. And i think that seeing how they reacted to haley's birth and changed through that experience. And then how that influenced our upbringing. And the way that they decided to take on raising us was really empowering for me and cassie and shaved who we were and i think that that says a lot to them as parents and speaks a lot to their sense of self in their confidence because it was hard it was hard leaving a community that they grew up in that was very very rural and small town and pretty judgmental communities still is and they decided to do something different. And it's hard to do something different. It's hard to do something different but carries parents do it. There are really interesting pair. Her dad scienc- in her mom is deep into new age stuff. She's the perfect combination of funny. And loving and edgy and unexpected. She's the kind of mom who leads a guided meditation for her little girls. We lay down in bed and mom's talking us through this meditation. And it's just you know beautiful and it goes on a long time. I mean a longtime like we're talking probably fifteen minutes starting to push twenty minutes and she's talking about an ocean and how you know the ocean waves are crashing against the rocks and the you see the whales jump up out of the ocean and she's just describing in great detail and kassian i. This point are so into it like we have our eyes closed. Were quiet silent. There's a pelican that goes flying above our heads. And then she screams at the top of her lungs that the pelican took a big dump on cassie and i and she and she would like zemlya. It was seamless. I can remember laying there. We were so into this meditation and just jolted like is just like flu open and we just started like scream. Laughing and mom was laughing. And that's like mom in a nutshell like just such a good example of she was so like new age like loving and kind and embrace everyone and yet she always had this edge that she would do something when you least expect it. And i love that about her. I loved her. So everybody was telling. My mom hastened carried school. It's time senator to school and so mom sent me to school. And she watched. Mom was one of those moms. It was always there but she was like not helicopter mom. She was always in the background watching and she'd be there. Something turned south but she was never like helicopter you know and she was watching when she sent me at a preschool or daycare or whatever it was the first time and she watched as i in and i just cried and cried and cried and she talked about watching some teacher the daycare person disciplining me in a way that mom didn't agree with and so mom got out of the car and she stormed in and she pulled me out and she said we're not doing this shit and that started our home school journey and then i never went back to school until i was thirteen in our home. Schooling was it. Like if fanatical extremist. You know religious homeschooling. It was like performing arts and out at the nature center we would go to the bird refuge. We would go to visit friends. We would volunteer all the time like our home. Schooling experience was just one giant party and then mom would go home and to get her nap in she would let kassian. I play together five hours a day and honestly.

"For some time and also like i've been starting to think a lot about the national and other things so i think it's a no matter what that's the other thing. Is that every time you climbed that mountain of making something right of soon as you master it. You're kinda like back at the bottom of the mountain again. You know south and you're like man can't stay up there for a little while longer. You know it's like you gotta this. Sometimes it's also important to burn the adjusted says you've got to burn the forest down. That's a bad metaphor right now. All those out of the wild fires but like you know what. I mean like creatively. I think sometimes you have to lake the field laid fallow for awhile. And i haven't done that allows and maybe in could do that at this point. I felt bad even asking that question. I don't credible but what's next. What are you doing now. We'll soon for that question but just wanted to ask. I heard you and your brother are working on a theatrical production of cyrano. How's that gonna. I have that right. Sounds really cool they. It's actually a movie it's visit. He was off broadway. Show that we've been map burning. Bryce my and bester. Mets worked with eric schmidt. This theater director and writer she wrote the screenplay that it's an attic adaptation of cyrano divergent which actually became a major movie. Now that joe right. The english director adapted it and directed it and it premiers sin is very soon but i think it comes.

"It's it's stunning the fact that the relationship which you've chronicled so much on on this show about Him and management and how much. That has deteriorated. How much he feels failed. How much feels not communicated to merely resulted one of the greatest players of all time retiring on top while also not people probably dismiss that. Oh whatever you were fifty fifty. But clearly he was hurt the recall as well on the interceptions where he's knowing he seeing them in his head. He's like oh that's grant that's number forty two. He's he's replaying them in the head interceptions from seven years ago in one case sixteen years ago touchdowns from sixteen years ago random running backs ed one hundred yard games so then fumbles jerick williams. He had the details. You're looking at them up while he was while he was going and he had almost all of the details right on every single game also enjoyed the rare glimpse into not the arrogance but the supreme confidence which was when he was talking about well. I kind of helped revolutionize this position. The game is different now than when i started as a quarterback was super interested a bunch of touchdowns and not very many interceptions was rare. You saw a bunch of guys back. When i started filling double digit interceptions. Now every season. I looked at the intersection charts like highest twelve now. He's so right about that. I hearing him say you never hear that. Hearing him say 'i revolutionized the position. I changed the way the game was played because we're all now caretakers with the football. You enjoyed what we did this week. We got a good one for you next week. Ken burns the famed historian. Documentary will be on with us. And we ask you again. We've got some new listeners. Here whenever we get a guest of the size and magnitude of aaron rodgers we ask you to rate subscribe and review the lebatardshow friends network. Saudi is follow follow not subscriber following because subscribe. Kind of what. You're paying so okay. It's a free products over following wherever it is you get your puck and the good news and with new terminology comes a new metric. Because all you gotta do is follow. And you don't have to worry like he did with subscriptions that they would just lapse after not listening for a while because some people may just come to south beach sessions for the big interviews. Dano that's just the way of the world now they can follow and not listen to another episode. We get credit for it. So do that for us please. Where'd that begging voice come from. It hasn't been here the entire time just swooped in parachuted in to beg for some follows pathetic. Ken burns next week. We'll talk to you then..

"Hello and welcome to south beach sessions. You know if you've been listening to this show for a while. That one of my favorite athletes is aaron rodgers for a lot of different reasons but it starts with an admiration of the craftsmanship at the position and the learning. He's tried to do on this journey in public. So i like asking him questions outside of football and i know you wanna hear about his off season. It was eventful and it was dramatic. And i will ask him about it before the interview is over. But i'd like to ask him. And i think he comes on with us for extended periods. Because i like to ask him about life and things he has learned so he is now engaged to be married and the first question i have for him. And thank you for joining us. Aaron on south beach sessions. The first question. I have for you is what can you tell us you've learned about love. What has the path toward love. Been like for you. Yeah great start to that thank you so much and oh man i in most important is love yourself. After that everything comes easy and along the path. Where would you say that that got easiest or where was it. Hardest right because i imagine as you're becoming an adult and growing their spots where you identify with what you're doing professionally and perhaps you don't love yourself the way that you might have otherwise. Yeah that's a good point. I think a lot of it is just reconditioning You know kind of Shedding the conditioning of our youth recognizing patterns that we learned As young people You know some patterns were directly based on interactions with our parents or friends some patterns where survival in whatever environment. I'm talking about like maybe some. Some people probably violence situations or dangerous situations for others just survival of the day-to-day to day. Status quo and recognizing those patterns and trying to make a conscious changes to those in the moment To allow you to overcome Fears emotional trauma anything from your childhood. Still kind of impacts the way you see view and interact in the world that when did you start dissecting some of that stuff It's been a while. I've been working on those things. I think more recently as able to find kind of words for the process. I went through a a weekend With the hoffman institute. Which is you know has long been known for the last forty plus years as An institute that that helps you With childhood traumas emotional Issues kinda just loving yourself. Better and growing They have week long. Retreats they have shorter stuff and i took the two day this off season and and it was impactful and kind of gave me the words so i've been working on for a number of years now. What led you there. I think in general when covert hit in early twenty twenty and travel that i love doing slowed down. I started to just really dive into my other favorite passionate. That's learning and different subjects..
