"Thought about baseball more than these people had more information than these people. And so generally speaking, made the right decision. This is the same thing I'm kind of getting at. I'm not saying experts are always right. I just trust what their telling me more than 6 79 on Twitter. Listen, you chose 6 that you're a big 6, 7, 8, 9. I get that you want to take the shots of people on Twitter criticizing, I mean, listen, I don't want to get into it. Joe Girardi, you're giving him way too much credit. George roddy had a book and said, oh, lefty, batting one 36. There was no field. I started the binder. I don't care who started it. They did every single thing goes by the book with the Yankees. There's no feel. There's no, oh, this guy threw 6 innings and only gave up one hit. Let's keep it. No, we got to change it because of the anode. So I don't, to me, what the manager does is all nonsense. It's all the GM now anyway and they tell them what to do. So now I'm going to go. Cashman, I just got on my phone ten year ten year extension. I'm sure. He has a job for life. He's never allowed to be fired. You think the Yankees win the World Series every year? And go ask them when I covered the Yankees. I acted like they won the World Series. When they're good, they're good. They have a good team? I think do I think they have a good team? Listen, I'm old and out of touch, right? So like you're never allowed. It's big type of you're never, ever allowed to talk about batting average. Batting average is useless, batting average is bullshit. No one goes right back. Every Yankee is back in two 20. That no big deal. Yesterday is like two 42. Yeah, well, we're all under. Except for Aaron judge. So, I mean, I get Aaron hicks. Aaron hicks, Joey Gallo, Gerrit Cole, where are the articles criticizing these moves? Josh Donaldson stinks. I got one for you that you're going to love, Jimmy. You're going to love this one. But I got to look it up because I was just told this. I'm going to say this. I'm going to write a part of the story about it. But next Friday's game. Yankee game? It's either apple or Amazon. I think it's on apple. Yeah. Aaron judge, a 100%, go bet, go bit all your life savings on Aaron judge hit and at least one of those 60, 61 or 62,000 next Friday. That's fine. I'm not watching it. You won't watch it? Absolutely not. Do you have that? Of course. I'm not going to sit there and put Apple TV on my TV to watch a Yankee game for three hours and not be able to change a channel, flip around. There'll be a college football game on ESPN that night. Do you have it on your phone? I'm not watching it again with my phone.

"If Torres is back, that makes DJ. DJ's not getting traded. No one's taking DJ's salary. And I think the Yankees also like him for his versatility. But then you look at DJ and it's like, okay, he's going to be a first baseman slash third baseman, depending on what happens with loop Voight and or geo or shella. Once again, we don't want Lou voy traded, but the Yankees, the damage is done with whatever the Yankees did. Clearly soured the relationship with the Rizzo trade and then just not playing Voight down the stretch when they had the lineup room to do so. So say void is traded, they keep Torres, geo stays a third, they sign a new shortstop. That means DJ's playing first. And he's not really a utility guy anymore unless there were injuries that need to be addressed. So if you need a utility guy because the Yankees don't really have a backup first baseman and I don't think that's going to be a priority for them in free agency. Why not go after a guy like Chris Taylor? Who can play center field? We don't know what's going to happen with Aaron hicks, maybe he's back, maybe he's not, maybe he's hurt again. Maybe he's a little bit healthy and I don't know what the deal is with him. He's been ever since he's arrived. The story's been different. So you can't bank on him giving you a 140 games. So maybe you bring in Taylor. Taylor could play center field. He could be your mostly center Fielder, and then you want to shift judge center field. Great hicks gets reps instead of field great. What does that mean? That means Chris Taylor can play left field. You can also play right field. He could play all the infield positions. There's going to be an injury, guys. There's always going to be an injury. I don't know who it's going to be too. I don't.

"I am not saying he's going to be the centerpiece of a deal right now, but why instead of Anthony volpe or Oswald peraza, why wouldn't you glom pitching prospects onto Luke Voight and tried to turn that into a trade? And again, this could be Clark Schmidt and peraza, I would keep one of Opie or peraza. That's sort of where I fall right now. I would do I would do peraza Voight and Luis heel for mattson. Yeah, I would do a number of things. I would go as far to say that you don't even need to include prospects if you didn't want to. Look, what if you, what if you packaged Luke voigt and glaber Torres? What if you packaged Luke voigt Joey Gallo in like a top ten maybe one top ten prospect? What if you did Luke Roy Aaron hicks in 8 half Aaron hicks his contract and gave them a center Fielder and then, you know, popped in popped in somebody else. It doesn't have to be a prospect heavy deal. I also don't think that's cheaping out on I don't think that's trying to screw the a's over at all. I think Aaron hicks may have some good years left. It's just not working out here and it's a liability for the Yankees at this point. I think they sour the relationship with Luke Voight. He can't be here anymore. They disrespected him. They traded for somebody else. They didn't get and then that other person went on the COVID IL, Luke .1 AL player of the week and then they benched him for essentially the rest of the season. Gallo Gallo seems like a guy that age would love to have versatile defensively, lefty power bat, played in the AL west. I'm can't believe we're drinking Joey Gallo. I laugh every time we talk about it. I mean, yeah, I mean, I laugh in a sad manner because this was a great, this on paper was a great move to help us in 2022 and how I just don't understand where he fits on this team. If you're not going to play him in center field. So I don't want him in left field. The Yankees shouldn't want him either. And they play tourists..

"How do you possibly get around on that heavy come through in the clutch? Is Minnesota that strong is Minnesota? That strongly contributing factor to the Yankees success. I guess, because that game was completely out of character for this team. And it ended in the most out of character way possible. So you got a hole behind the diamond that needs to be filled. You've got Andrew Velasquez, hanging out, triple-A seasons over, doing nothing. Instead, they've decided to reshuffle the entire infield, which wouldn't be quite as much of a problem if le mayhew Torres and her shella had all even equated, you know, they don't have to exceed expectations. You don't even have to reach them. You just have to get in the ballpark. None of the three have done that. Brett Gardner has been one of the best players for the past two months. None of that is what should be happening. There should be a Frasier time should be involved in this team somehow and he's not. Aaron hicks was supposed to be here. He's not. So they don't have a center Fielder in the future. Yet, the immediate future, they don't have a middle infield sorted out. I don't think Anthony Rizzo's coming back. And I don't know if there's been a reason over the past month and a half to bring Anthony Rizzo back. I think this team is close, of course. The minor league system has every level player has outperformed expectations significantly. Anthony vault is now someone who must be game planned for. There's pitching a double-A. There are a lot of interesting pieces. If only the eggs are willing to supplement it in free agency this year, or maybe pull off another cashman pitching trade. But you know, they're not terribly far off, but they are dangerously close to being stuck in a cycle. And the players are certainly to blame because again, you know, the first through the boring first half, we said, any other combination of players would be more interesting in this group and would perform better..

He will score takes a two run double for standard and Gives the Yankees a 31 lead and by the ninth New York had extended that lead to 51, and this should do it. Velasquez Fields fires and the Yankees have won 10 in a row and the winning continues Michael K. With the call on the Yes network in New York, 51 the final the Yankees with a 10 game win streak, Their 31st doubled into win streak in team history, most by any American League franchise. They haven't won 11 in a row, though, since 1985 Braves obviously have their nine game win streak come to an end. But both teams really turning things around after the All Star break here to the guys at PT. Alright WILBON, which team has had the more impressive turnaround? The Yankees are the Braves. Tony, I don't know how to really separate them. They both had great turnaround. I will say this for the Braves to have this tune around after losing Acuna to the with the torn A C l. I mean, I thought they were done. So maybe there's more impressive because it's somewhat surprising. You can lose a player that great and you know, the Yankees have hats, one of a rolling set of injuries. I lost my man Scottsdale's own Aaron Hicks for the rest of the season, sadly but then judge and stand and call. They've all they've had either injuries or they had covid absences. You know Anthony Rizzo absent from the lineup after they got Anthony Rizzo, and they were 9.5 back of the Red Sox. Now they're 4.5 back to the race, but they're too up on the socks 2.5 up on Oakland for that that wild card spot so I don't know how to separated. I may say that that division is tougher. So I might go with the Yankees in a tiebreaker because their division is tougher than your alien urine at least. Yeah, No, that's true. The NL East was supposed to be much harder than it is. And it has been garbage compared to the West, and it has been that I would say of the Yankees that the Yankees do. What the Yankees do all the time. They don't wait around to grow talent. They buy talent. They got the money and they did it. They went and they got Joey Gallo and they went and they got Anthony Rizzo left handed power hitters in a short right field circumstance and they desperately needed left handed power hitters. I would say more impressive to me because I follow The N at least a little bit more as the Braves for this reason Ozuna is gone, You're not playing again. Acuna is not playing again this year, Freddie Freeman has carried this squad. In the nine in the road that they've, and he was the MVP last year in a shortened season. Right, So you don't know if you really the M V P because it's a short season in the nine games they've won in a row. He's Baton 4 21. He's got 10 runs scored and seven RB in those nine games and the God factor that you see with Boston. In the least you're seeing it with Philadelphia in the N L. East. They have the easiest schedule in all of baseball. And they can't win to the degree that they have to win, and they're way behind the brains. Brains are in first place. Yankees aren't so that's why I would say the Braves. They are they are. Yeah, that's too much Eastern baseball slippers for me, Tony, that's it. It done Braves up by 4.5 in the N L East on the Phillies while the Yankees trailed raised by four games in the American League East SportsCenter all night, ESPN radio speaking of the L East, what a finish between the Red Sox and the Rangers in the 11th inning here, it is swinging a high drive the right feel and win the game..

"Of the game soft contact. And another one off the end of the bad after Aaron judges down the right field line and Torrez follow suit, this time to type the ball game and See how the Yankees can finish here. Heart of the lineup still up, and Aaron Hicks a proven Read. It played offensively, he could clearly walk this off. The Yankees have runners at 1st and 2nd Aaron Hicks, four homers. 12 R B I's judge is the winning run at second. There's one man out in the ninth inning. His hand has not had command. Chapman again back up and warming in that Yankee dugout bullpen should there be extra innings? And contact pitcher hand and he has been touched in this sitting by back to back singles now, Hicks Breaking ball called Strike one and 81 Mile an hour slider at the top of his own judges. A great athlete wouldn't describe him as having elite speed and second base. The Yankees have rallied here in the bottom of the ninth off Brad Hand the nationals closer to tie it to two. Is the next one from hand. Why that is called the ball, and it certainly appeared to get a lot of the strike zone and Josh Harrison is probably just Blowing his top. It's second base after get mad and Marquez for a pitch. That was borderline low. He got called out third strike and that one right there. Looks like that was in the zone. Yeah. Aaron judge the winning run at second base. Aaron Hicks pinch hits for Brett Gardner. Look, Fraser is on deck 112 Hicks. That one is inside called Strike, and Hicks can't believe it. Well, if you're in the gift giving mood you had to give one to hand because this pitch Wasn't nearly as good as the last one, which was called the ball. And now he's ahead of hits. One ball two strikes. It's from the naked eye..

"Have day off today. Maybe he needs a couple of days off. I don't know only only aaron. Boone will know how to handle each of these players. This one of the reasons why he was brought here i. I'm not advocating at all against aaron boone. At this point you know you gotta give them sixty to seventy games and you gotta let this thing kind of play itself out and try to get this team going again and we can look at individual players you can say. This guy's not doing his job. This guy's not doing his job. Well that's right. it's all obvious. Yeah so now. He has infinite number of players to choose from twenty six flyers Got ferret out and the pitching's got to be better. You know her. Mom's go to come back now. He's got to be better and they can't just rely on one starting pitcher and your bullpen. You got you gotta have other guys that could actually go out there and go six or seven innings. So i mean. There's there's a million problems with this team right now. The biggest one. I think strikeouts lack of clutch hitting you and of course. Now you have issues at shortstop issues in center field issues a catcher when it comes to defense and things of that nature and that's why the yankees themselves where they are so. I guess the question that we should be asking. What can aaron boone do. And how can he change this on. I mean there's not gonna be any in. This is the point that bringing up this is the roster. These are the guys. There's not going to be some sort of spark plug that's out. There is going to make the decision bringing. He's not in control of that. So the one thing that brian cashman did realize is that jay bruce was fading and it was just a kind of a band aid type of situation. Yeah for luke voight. So he was fading was eventually they were going to release them. They allowed in the retire. That was great and you knew that was coming simply because they went out and got. Oh door put him at second base and that polo may you at first base and then the more aaron boone was talking about first base. The more he was talking about. Dj lemay so You know that kind of signal. The end for jay bruce. So he's gone so now. What is it my ford coming here luke for far from coming back but these are all things that brian cashman and that department is going to decide collaboratively. You know we need to stop going back to not us specifically but people who are watching and paying attention to baseball going back to that age old. All the manager has to do something. What is the manager. Really in control of today's baseball Not in game bullpen decisions. Which which already are mapped out. Well this guy here and the splits here and everything else but he still has to make a decision here or there then dealing with the media. That's it so when he's in a situation where he's got to answer about. Aaron hicks sitting out a game. And he asked his talk to the media and that he's got to make sure that he does that in a way that is palatable to many. That's eighth let. Let's forget about the astros cheating scandal for second was. Aj hinch considered a very good manager..

"Be brett gardner There's some worry. That chad greene might not be. Okay my record. There's some worry. That chad greene might not be okay. He was scheduled to pitch on tuesday but then he was held back. boone's quote was. We're just trying to be wise and slow player. Higher leverage relievers as far as game action or trying to be mindful of innings. Coming off the last season i thought that everybody pitch fewer innings than they ever had in their entire life. Yeah i think the look chad. Green to me is a is a big piece of this. Because he's got to step up and now take a even bigger role He's he's he's become a leader. I guess in the in the bullpen. Now with some of these you know some of departures. He's he's really got to be a lockdown guy for you know he's got to be the dependable guy in the back of the pen other than other than chapman. And then you have written but chad grainger number three guy they gotta they gotta be careful with him but he also has to come out and prove that he can be that guy the entire time. We've seen too many too many years now with chad green coming in and like disappearing for a month or not being the same guy after a second inning of work. They just need to figure out what he is and he needs to lock in no matter what the back of that in the back of open. Yeah they also in hoax notes. He mentioned the yankees are probably going to carry eight relievers to start the season. Six of those guys are are pretty clear. Cut chapman britain. Green darren o'day justin wilson and he puts lewis sessa in that group my guy and then he also said boone and matt blake are both high on nick nelson zim. I look at this. we're all. We're in synch. Your this is this is beautiful nick. Nelson pitched well in his spring debut. But nick nelson could kind of be. What chad green was maybe three years ago. Yeah lewis has has slowly become. I'd say version of fine lewis. Ah has not become that yet. You keys pushing the louise. Because he's not a one to two in guy he's definitely more of that bridge guy but he's been an effective bridge guy so he's been asked to play a different role he's not been asked to play that same role. I do see nick nelson translating into a guy that could come in throw gas control a strike zone and be good. He was impressive us. Your i've been shy about this. Big nelson has a real place in the bullpen. And i think that the yankees like him and the fact that we're talking about right now and that Mardi mardi gras marty. Blake is talking about it. I'm trying to come up with a wrong last. I couldn't The fact that they're talking about in this early in spring leads me to believe that they. They've got some pretty high expectations coming into the season for for nikki nelson here all the be last names out there. We stumbled brown. Berg could've been anything so that maybe the eighth spot who who you think for that eight spot in the bullpen. They're going to be michael king because they just want someone who they are we. Are we re flipping back. Everybody i look nyc cooking's a nice guy. He's not a major league pitcher. i mean. no he. He was bad in his first outing in spring. I did that. Doesn't mean anything but at the same time we saw what he is. He's just not a guy that puts anything he's there's nothing special there he's a four a guy he's the rob schneider of pitching That might be the case. But i think they like having someone who they can use. This is going to sound bad. And i like michael king As as we all know they like having someone on the roster that they can do anything with and if they mess him up they don't care that's fine. There's a tax shouldn't be in the on the major league teams yum not disagreeing with you but to start the season. Especially because if there's no clear cut starting role for debbie garcia and clark schmidt is still working back from they care about those two no so but what i'm saying is they can have michael king on the roster and then if they have a double-header or if someone gets knocked out in the second inning they can throw him out there and then immediately sent him back down to alternate site and it's no it's no different they don't care no that's true that's exactly. They like having the flexibility. Get that that's fine. That does not change the point that he is not a major league. Pitcher key may have his moments where we're like. Oh there he is. Let's go give them the fifth starting job and then and then he'll get the five spine do you remember. He showed flashes last year. Where for two innings. He would look good. He would keep the ball on the ground. And then boone would try and push them out there for a third inning. Maybe second time to the order and he would get the last year or was it end of twenty nine thousand nine hundred and saw that was last year end of twenty nine thousand nine. He only made his made one appearance. That was really blending together. Twenty twenty. it's a figure but He he would come in for two innings of relief and maybe he'd give up a couple of hits. Maybe one run and you say okay. That was a decent adding for my cooking and then will push him out there for third inning and he couldn't get out of the inning and he would give up four runs so it was too many instances like that. So does that mean. Michael king is not a- long-term major league pitcher maybe because if you can't pitch more than two innings and you're supposed to be a starting pitcher then you're probably not and he also doesn't like his stuff doesn't translate to be a one guy out of the bullpen ineffective high leverage bullpen guy. No it doesn't. He's a ground ball pitcher who's been working on his changeup. This offseason said he needs to throw more changeups. So but if or is that aaron. Boone not recognizing this guy is not going to succeed in the situation to get him out sooner than later. Maybe it's a little bit of both. Well yeah but at some point to stop making pitching changes and let a guy go because can run out of pitchers especially when everybody is a one hundred twenty one hundred and thirty one hundred and forty inning guy in going into the season segue you. That's a really good sessional segue. It was so. I wanted to talk about expectations for jamieson. Diane who he was asked by reporters. I believe this was in his first spring media session. He was asked about returning from. Tommy john surgery second. Tommy john surgery and the number of innings he might pitch. He said we haven't had that talk yet about any set number. I thought originally one hundred and twenty to one hundred and fifty but that being said i'm kind of on board with the idea of. Let's just see how feeling throughout the year. Why put a limit on something. If i'm feeling great at one hundred forty innings. There's no need to cap it. That's my thinking i. He mentioned one twenty to one fifty. He also said one forty. And if i'm feeling great let's keep pushing it this kind of telling me though that they're the he's going to be about a one hundred and forty inning best case scenario pitcher this year. We'll know i think what this tells you is the best case scenario. He's going to do however he.

"Through a sixty game schedule. They overcame some hurdles. But there's going to be even with vaccines rolling out. There's a lot more to be overcome this year for what they're trying to understood which is fine but they can also mortar. My point. was. I understand that there are. There are occasions with what's happening. The fact is is that aaa is a you know a less controlled situation and in order for anybody to have replenishment players that can come up and play for guys that get injured. The inevitable happens during a major league baseball season especially to the new york. They have to have those guys ready to go. And if they're you know loosey goosey or just not able to stay on the field. Because of covert than that that becomes a big problem for the major league teams. And i think that is well could affect the major league season more than anything because you know i feel like they're in a good spot with the rest of i think it it kind of does impact the yankees in a negative way though because they were going to have some players who maybe didn't make the opening day roster that they were gonna maybe rely on in late april or early may Say well i know. Clark schmidt was shut down for an injury. But that means you know. His timetable has been pushed back. But miguel and do har is a guy who probably is not going to make the opening day roster but he would have just slotted into the everyday lineup in scranton to get regular at bats immediately called up if they had an injury or debbie garcia might not make the opening day roster starter. Maybe they were going to start him in scranton and get him on a five day schedule ready to go. Now that's pushed back in. An alternate site is not the same is pitching in in a minor league game. It's not the same but you know. Hopefully it's just that muscle and they can get back into the swing so it'll be a it'll be a small small little bump in the road but It'll be fine. I think they'll be good. I'm glad that they're not canceling anything. Because i think that at least not yet for aaa. That would be devastating. I'm surprised how i. How many of these franchises actually survived twenty twenty with not having anybody there. They just didn't operate on a on a lot of cash flow there. There's not a lot of money being generated by main minor league teams and then you lose an entire season. That's gotta be pretty devastating to a lot of a lot of these teams. So i'm glad they're back. You think people are so desperate for entertainment and that they'll they'll they'll go to these minor league games more than i really yes. I'm i want to go anywhere. I don't care what it is. You know what. I mean like. I'll go with it doesn't even matter. How do you go on walks. There could be there. Could they could tell me. There's a game and we could go to the stadium and there's no game like all right you know. It's not my house interests different. Sit there have a different place. You know my my family. We haven't seen each other are very much in person and we my my sister just guy we just got a house down in in the jersey shore for for like four days just that we could meet there and just like have four different walls and and like get a get a bit of just a a little visit a little. Visit changes exactly. It doesn't matter to me. it does not matter. Do you go on walks throughout the day. The you gonna walk. no. I don't know see patients. Don't have the patience to go out and walk haitians. I mean especially. When when i was still living in the city the leeann i would go on a walk usually after work. Five five thirty. We just meet up with with friends that lived in the area and we would walk in the park. That was lazuli. The it was the most interesting thirty minutes of our day everyday because the rest of it was just sitting inside at work or watching. Tv and like being outside. Even if it wasn't in a nice day out it was just like it was like you said it's something different to look at it. It's doing something even if it's just as simple as walk tracker beer eats peanuts sitting in a A shitty stadium seat all day. I will give me that an anti you might drive by that funeral home. That all the guys used to live over and just like i'll watch the grounds crew. Just water the grass and and rake the dirt. That's fine for me to. I'll do that. Play some music in the background maybe some highlights of yesteryear. And let's let's just hang out. I've got something to complain about. That's really that's surprising. I know maybe we talked about. I was gonna have a different attitude this year. Father now things things are. I've gotten priorities in my life. But i saw this from brian hoke on tuesday. He said aaron hicks is envisioned as the yankees number three hitter to begin the season according to manager aaron boone. I know we've beat this to death. Why is aaron hicks hitting third. Is it only. Because he's a switch hitter because if that's the case it's just it's moronic reason the there's no nothing else in his game other than the fact that he can hit left handed that would say that warrants him hitting third what is aaron hicks dwell. He he will get some base. He takes he gets on base. He walks fifteen percent of the time. That's that's a good rate. He strikes out twenty one percent of the time. That's not horrific. But it's not great either. But he's got a two thirty nine batting average. The last three seasons a to sixty five batting average on balls in play. And he's projected i think ziff's projection has amid a to thirty two batting average or two thirty four batting average this year. The guy does not put bat on ball enough to hit third. He walks a lot like you said he's got a three fifty eight on base percentage. Those are good numbers but not for your number three hitter. Hit him leadoff for all. I care i much rather have. Aaron hicks hitting leadoff than hitting third move. Dj down to the to spot or the three spot. Even i would be much happier if the lineup went hicks. Dj judge or hicks judge dj than having hicks third. Because this is how games go. Okay you ready for how games go. Dj lemay who single to right field. Beautiful aaron judge long long long at that maybe works walk or maybe just moves the runner over or something..

"Show episode five hundred. sixteen spring. Training is rolling on and i am covered in urine. Yes that sounds weird. I'm very happy to hear this. You know when you tweeted that it's out of control. It's you've no idea how happy i am to hear this. I i really do think he's it on purpose at this point. He's peed on me almost every day for the for him you any makes he makes eye contact and he's like you know what i know. You just cleaned my diaper and there was. But i got a little more where that came from boom. Here's another here's another shame on you. Shame on you for not having your reflexes down by this point under sending. That's going to happen. What if i told you about expectations. I told you that this this is. This was like Some karate kid shit here wax on wax off. This was preparing you for fatherhood and and you have. You have failed. Let's go you need. Need pair for left hand needs to wax on with the diaper. You're ready to go don't win. He's a week yesterday. He peed all over his face. And we're like hi. Gotten his eyes and he started crying. Hysterically like okay. Let's get him in the bath. So i pick them up and i'm him over to the bath and somehow even pete himself. He peed more on the way to the bat. It's just like it. I know it's been joking. Like i need this. Pptp i've been shamed on twitter. People saying that's a waste of money even though it's like five dollars money they don't sired is bullshit. It's bullshit these are just gimmicks that they get parents to buy things when they're desperate desperate at this point i just i just want to be stopped. P. i wanna be stopped getting pete. I'm like i'm like those are kelly's oh jeez the The thing is you're going to buy it and he's going to stop. That's what happens. Fit whatever is a five dollar purchase. It'll make me feel better. Needs a he needs a p poncho not a pptp. Good for good for you. Keep the keep the industry booming but make make more worthless. Products were three weeks in and Spring training spring training is about a weekend. There's been some some games. Some game action gained. Did you did you. Did you get a little excited. When the first game happened there were some fans in the stands. The yankees always wear their pinstripes for the first for spring training game of the year. There's a little it was a little cool. It was very cool. I loved it. I get one. Seen the fans back in the stands is just exciting to see man you know. I don't know where where we'll get by the end of the year. Hopefully it's More than ten percent I have a feeling the vaccinations Get get further along with With with adults then you know. I think gigi stadium probably opened up more mobile open up more. they pushed the triple. Ac's back a month ish a month. Yeah there's going to be alternate site. In the meantime i could see them just keeping even when the minor league season starts. I could almost see them. Keeping an alternate site going because it is kind of isolate a few players. Maybe yeah just to make sure if something ravages say the scranton clubhouse like cova goes to the scranton clubhouse then the major league team is because that entire squad can't go up even even guy test is not positive for covid if he's in contact with other players who have been positive so i could just see them keeping this alternate site thing going throughout the surprise me. Either and pushing the season back a month. the minor league season. I do understand it because you know major league is they can control a heck of a lot more on the road or with the team is just every day. You're doing things minor leagues are. You know you're you're you're you're in a different situation at that point you. You're with the younger guys. Usually in smaller cities not as much control so pushing it another month. They're staying ramadi pushy getting another month to To to hopefully just again waited out you know. Get some more vaccinations going. I think make sense. Because i think that's what their big fear is. I don't think is as fearful knock on wood with the season and like what's happening up there. Because if they were to hold the dual last year they should be able to do it this year and i think they have a pretty good idea of what's going to happen but the scope of what they're trying to do. This year is much different than what they did us true but i still think that they can take in control a lot. They can control a good amount of what's happening. There's a full schedule like there's an entire schedule. They're they're going to be playing. It's not just playing on your coast right more. The yankees are going to be flying anytime the yankees are going to be flying. that is. that's how that's how it goes you go to the other The other teams park. And you play there and there's gonna be there's going to be there's going to be fans in the stands as i mean if you're in texas or florida screw. It's one hundred percent. Did i know. Texas said one hundred percent did florida also. I don't think so not yet. At least i know the spring training's not so there i think it also depends on obviously the ballparks and the and the team and how they're yes. So that was the governor of texas said one hundred percent so the astros in the rangers could potentially have one hundred percent of people in in their new ballpark in arlington. You gotta show off that. You're the. I love last playoffs when when that ballpark got shamed for looking like a like a like a home depot outside. Her was talking about expectations versus reality. Did you see those memes. Whereas like the the designs for the stadium. They were like this beautiful brick exterior than the actual thing. That looks like a freaking like airplane. Hangar that's like the metlife when metlife isn't on game day. It's just like a a steel. Looks like a an alien came down in the meadowlands dropped because everything is illegal lands. Everything is led depending on who's playing their. The meadowlands is a real sad place. You've got the giant football stadium. You've got this indoor ski hill and you've got a ton of dead bodies buried by the mob somewhere in the fact that ski the fact that the ski slope is actually back back in the plants because it sat there for a while Xanadu sat there for a while. Is it is it. Operational think it's operational yesterday. But i could be wrong. I know it's it's been construction for like eighty five years but the the fact that it gets it's back in action we're like oh yes someone's we're back let's go someone someone in two thousand nineteen. Oh yeah mall big time. Let's go right in the middle of it was just a. It was just a an interesting decision. The fact that there's going to be a ski slope in the mall in the meadowlands. Yeah we'll see how that the scope of the twenty twenty one season. It's a full schedule. It's flying across the country. It's it's fans in the stands whether it's ten percent twenty percent one hundred percent that means clubhouse attendees and personnel all of the different people involved in putting on a major league baseball game. We're going to come in contact with a lot more people. So so my point is yes they they..

Aaron Boone says, the Yankees are opting mystic and do heart will respond to treatment and surgery won't be required. He was placed for now on the injured list. Although it's unclear how long it'll be out Yankees have another outfielder on the injured list, Giancarlo Stanton. Tune goes on the list with a strained left. Biceps which he injured on a swing? Do you? Remember, what at-bat you actually injured yourself? Yes. I. Third. Swing three one say. Did you consider telling them at that point in coming out of the game? Or did you feel that it wasn't that big a deal? Yeah. Contemplated that? One, sir. Cramp or some more significant. So just let a couple of mornings play out. And and go inside and swing a little bit. See if I could could do it. And I thought it had enough to finish the game. At least, but told you afterwards that it was something more significant than it was maybe a bigger issue. Well in the in the middle of the game, you got your drill. And you got. Everything pump in especially the want to stay out there. So once you settle down and can address shower and whatnot. When you're gay dessert, a little better and things start tightening up if if they're not, right?
