"He has an ankle need Aaron Davis. Aaron in the original, alternate comics, eat on the identity and the tech of the prowler prowlers is longtime sword of anti hero. Sometimes antagonised to Spiderman in the universe that we're in. Now, Erin has actually taken on some of the tech of the iron spider become an enemy of miles. Some of the last stories that Brian Michael Benda's was telling of miles really focused on that relationship between miles and Erin as the hero and the villain gr. Stuff you can find that in the last issues of the Spiderman series that came out this year. We also have of course, miles best friend gangqi who served as a heavy influence for the film version of Ned. We saw in the live action film. There's also his friend judge in the comics as gal Barbara who you'll you'll see more of in the miles. Morales Spiderman comic and one of my favorite characters that came out of all of miles stories character name bombshell. She's really cool. She's got these like bomb. Burst powers, and she has a mom who also has those powers the mom who has nickel likes to call. Mom shell. She's just Fillon. She's a terrible woman like awful and bombshells trying to hear it. She doesn't want to go down the path her mom goes down. Like, I think there's a ton of story to tell with bombshell. I hope we could see more of her which we will in the pages of champions. But do you think Spiderman like Peter Parker got such a wonderful supporting cast? And I think what we've been able to do is really give miles just an incredible supporting cast, but as wildly different all kinds of different dynamics. But still layered and wonderful feels very authentic. Yeah. I think in Spiderman into the spider verse one of the really cool things about having the different spider people. There is miles going through what he's going through and saying you don't understand, and it's a bunch of spider people who say, actually, we're the ones who do understand. But each of their stories is unique to them. But there's still at very common humanity that they share in their incr-. Ably singular situations, man, I love Spiderman the whole thing is just so great, but miles has gone through some really intense stuff. But those make for great comics such as his first appearance and ultimate fallout. Number four, ultimate comics Spiderman issues one through five which also started in twenty eleven really terrific, those sort of tell the story before his first appearance and into his first appearance. Those early days of him in the ultimate universe of how he got the power family dynamic has interactions with Gwen Stacy and the being around the funeral and then figuring out what he is what he could do really great comics, the two spider men limited series, where he meets the Peter Parker from our universe, which is really important because he didn't have his Peter his Peter died. He didn't have anyone show him. What was going on? He didn't have anyone really connect with at that point. That was a big. Big step. He did have in the alternate universe. There's a clone a female clone version of Peter Parker who he does connect with a little bit. I love her. She was still around. Anyway, we've got miles Morales. Ultimate Spiderman issues, I would say one through six great primer start with of course, the twenty eighteen Spiderman annual was really really good. And that's a way to see miles. I adventure in our universe. Really says. Okay. This is how things came together him sort of putting on a makeshift costume helping out. It's great issue that came out this year. I would say definitely check that out miles as part of teams, he's part of the champions. So he's been in the champions book as it's been going on. And we'll have a new series with that one, but that has been super fun. And of course, he was on the all new all different avengers team. And finally to the generation Spiderman issue from twenty seventeen we did this cool story where we got current characters to meet their own. Rooms like the original versions or go back in time. So you get a miles going back to time when Peter was a teenager meeting him. It's a really great story. There's some of my favorite comics from last year..

Mark judge told the New Yorker that Mark judge told her ashamed shamelessly of an incident that involved him and other boys taking turns having sex with a drunk woman was Brett cavenaugh. One of those boys that is one of the questions that Mark judge should be asked under oath by the Senate Judiciary committee, but will not be because the Republicans fear the answer to questions like that. And they refuse to subpoena Mark judge as a witness journey. Ours gushing now Washington Post, investigative reporter, Aaron Davis, and back with us is Joyce spans. And Aaron, you're part of the team that found Mark judge at the hideout. How do we know if he plans to stay there now that you've exposed that or at least you guys know where he is? Well, he did say something fact of, you know, you might not be there much longer after we did find him. We looked a lot of places. We had heard that he had left town. It's town that he may be staying with a classmate giving, maybe giving him safe harbor and Delaware. We ended up finding him and I went to his house, his mother's house, a lot of houses over the weekend. We found him yesterday, in fact, in Bethany beach and Delaware at a longtime friend of his, their family home is actually a bartender and, and so we waited staked him out. He came out looking for a snack yesterday afternoon, and that's when we spoke to him very briefly and Jewish fats. I think one of the questions that the Democrats should ask Rachel Mitchell when she's working on the committee hearing, have you ever prosecuted a sex crimes case in which a named witness in the room during the sexual assault was someone you did not subpoenaed as a witness, it's unfathomable that you wouldn't want to get as much. Information as you could from everyone who was a witness to an alleged incident to this just defies belief, Aaron, it sounds like he knows how to talk to reporters. I mean, immediately after after the how'd you find me? He goes off the record. He has experience as a freelance journalist himself. This is true. This is true. He's he's Britain a lot, a lot of op-eds, and he's chronicled much of the debauchery that we now know about the time Georgetown prep he's written books. He's, you know, we don't know who this bar ho Cavanaugh that actually is the judge. There's, of course, many questions of that he could shed light on and knocked afford is said, is the only one you can really the test to whether or not events transpired as she remembers and Joyce. When when Mike Levin brought out his list of questions to ask judge Cavanaugh of one of the among the list of questions were the kinds of things that Mark judge. Told the girlfriend who then told the New Yorker about boys taking turns having sex with a drunk girl. I mean, that's kind of exactly in much more graphic language. What Michael Evans says his witness and victim will talk about this is exactly why the FBI should be authorized to reopen the background investigation into judge Cavanaugh. These are the kinds of questions that should be posed in the course of a background here in the kind that you and I both went through during government service. That's the right way to vet these concerns. And then to take that information to the Senate body that's charged with advising and consenting on the nomination we're going to have to leave it there. Erin Davis. Thank you very much for joining us tonight with your news report and Joyce fans. Thank you for joining our discussion. Tonight's last word is next. Time for. Tonight's last word. "You know like the potential for great and what may hold him back from being great in the same way that you know if ricky rubio had just been like a solid score you know like he doesn't have to be steph curry from distance you don't have to be like russell westbrook driving to the rim but he just has to be somebody who can score reasonably reliable ju holiday sure yeah drew holiday that's great think how good rubio is if he's a drew holiday level score with defense with that defense with the rebounding in the passing yeah that's an amazing amaz when rondo was his most rondo asset if you had a jump it'd be the best player in the less it'd be unreal unfair okay this actually sort of swings us back full circle to where everything began with shohei otani and like how do you define great for a player like showy at tiny like what meets the expectations you can talk about this with lonzo to like how how do you go about separating what a guy does versus the high hype that accompanies them when they enter the league and how much should that height even matter when you evaluate them as players talk about that coming up next andy candidates kyoshi junior oj jackson junior right yes yes mason ireland eight accumulates key o'shea jackson junior before the guys before we get to the discussion of lonzo ball shohei otani and how you sorta valuate players on production versus hype we gotta get into the sliding doors conversation we were having off air come on man it's set this up all right so we're talking about donald sterling talking about donald sterling like you know everybody should do at least once a day and you know we're talking about how he's a just one of the worst owners you know they they went nowhere and one of their deciding moves that made me think something was shady over there in the clippers organization was them getting rid of competent native barron davis and they got rid of baron davis along with a pick along with the pig first round pick now they send baron davis to the cleveland cavaliers for mo williams and cleveland picks up aaron davis along with the number with the first round pick that first round pick turns out in the lottery to be the number one pick.

"All right guys i wanna point out a couple of easter eggs in the movie a kind of to talk about some of the little bonus things firstly there is a lot of buzz online about the fact that donald gulliver plays aaron davis in movie who i believe is the uncle of miles morales right the the the rowler yeah the black hispanic spiderman that then thinks over for peter parker um in the comics so potentially one day we could get immoral miles morales uh this is a weird way yeah there's a weird way to search cheese miles morales but okay he does mentioned his mess nephew point out uh i like super cool because uh just just a just to be super clear on that people to know the backstory uh the only reason miles morales exists is because donald glover before airing andrew garfield was cast had is put put out into the world that maybe he was interested in playing spiderman and of course racism exploded all over the internet uh and brian michael benda's who is the writer on alternate spiderman at the time uh i thought it was actually an awesome idea for uh donald glover to play spiderman and thought will why don't we just make him make a black spiderman so the plane was shut the fuck up and that's how miles morales got created so now here we are coming full circle or assume new having had actually play in that it sadly he's too old the blame of morale as budgets taken so long yet him play his uh his uncle which is pretty glenn and his uncle plays a very big part in the origin of of miles uh become conference so i'm looking for an esa don't know much about the orchard miles but i was actually a little disappointed that though glover got such like a dislike yeah kind of a treat up.

"But it's going to be karen who's going to point to aaron davis prowler whose then going to say my cousins of stuff i guess his cousin is mac garg in who's the scorpion from the comics he's got a big scorpion tattoo on the snack what's so weird it played by michael mando and i don't know if you watch better call sol but he's a big character on their nacho varga great actor on that show on a mike all nachos year and he doesn't do anything like i guess that's for the next movie i'm in the clone club if you watch orphan black he was on that for a couple of and so i don't know this actor but i know the character he plays and the scorpion tattoo i thought was a nice call back the fact that he's buying hightech arms even though this isn't sony spider verse it does feel like they're building their sinister sixty really does the scott two shockers the first shocker goes away he was jackson bryson in this movie who is actually one of the kingpins enforcers in the comics but here he was the first shocker and it's vultures only kill vultures a thief buddies mostly a businessman when jackson brace calls him an old man them tombs fires am radio is bad news because he was late during that prologue seen tuesday were yeah let's face it nobody likes logan marshall green we couldn't wait for him to die in pro as that's what you get for being of fake tom hearty we don't like you canal to always use a real tom hearty if you've got one available i thought it was delmarva of like cool he's in this no no because he's not doing some weird voice and then we've got herman schultz who is the classic name for the shocker he's going to become the second one in this film i did like with the shock of mike in the comic his outfit is like a quilt seen oda padam from the electrical shocks me kinda do have those yellow sleeves he wears out with quilted yeah i i think it's more the first guy but he has like a quilted code he wears no but then the second one does the same thing i'm like did he take his jacket after he got the prized.

"One of the people that was a very popular fan pick to play peter parker was donald glover and that took on some traction with even donald lover himself kind of getting involved in fan campaign and there's been some great pop culture easter eggs that were born out of that like donald govern wearing a spiderman shirt in episode of community on but it led directly in fact to the creation of a different spiderman character named miles morale us who is the spiderman of the ultimate universe and marvel comics and now is actually part of the marvel universe proper and he is up he is a little odd is a little black boy from queens who is thirteen years old who looks a lot like donald glover who is inspired by donald gover as brian michael bentt as the writer who created the character has said multiple times and here in this movie donald glover it has been cast who is also by the way has lent his voice to miles morales and several animated spiderman projects he is playing a character named aaron davis who is miles morales's uncle in comics and mentions in this movie i wanna see these bad guys get busted 'cause i've got a nephew to take care of so a ready it you know it's beyond awaken a nod it's a centrally acknowledgement that miles morale as exists in the marble cinemax universes wealth so just even chasing that down the line and like forecasting you know eight or nine years or even lesser even maybe a little bit more from now in tom holland is no longer quite like the youthful spiderman that he is right now like you can envision the like the second homecoming like you can envision the the scenario where a young miles morales is now getting the mantle of spiderman and tom holland is playing tony's dark to this kids so that's a really really really cool thing and i think that the connective tissue of donald gover being the guy who not only brought miles morales to life in the first place in the comics very much by his existence in his participation in that campaign in the fact that he was very inspirational to the comic book creators who came up with miles a has put his voice to that character.
