"When you started photographing for your boyfriend's boss will doing that. Construction work in a very early paid pretty well too. How did you even know what to charge back then. Was it an early right. Did you give a quote headed. You do your pricing back. Then yes i. I've never sooner charged by the ala of allies charge by the amount of images that the client end up choosing. And it's just. I guess something that i just really discovered by flick Asked the clients payment imaging wide. And there's i organization called the master builders association of the tara or skyline as well and they have like a little bit likely have they. I pay woods die have That had requirement that you had had four new regions on sorry despic- with a figure Images of charging the scenes. While i can so back then. Would it be like an architect or a bill that would employees who wants to enter this competition. Yes sorry. i'm mainly fight off. The building was built as at the time but of course areas architectural awards. That run all right. But i've always erred on the side of the business guy back then another going back a long time. But let's say you on the bill. And i'll call you walk. Senior portfolio like it. I'm going into these awards amount of fourteen images yet. I'm guessing you would shoot a lot more. And then i pick the best fourteen. That's exactly right. Yeah i would normally go to a project can fight off anywhere from soda. Steady two hundred five to be honest. kick the month Reflect the project the best. Yeah and then you remember you judge back. Then yes i. It'll be a clever about it. I think i sort of had. I guess a staggered approach. Want to five ks six to an editing to teddy. And i think back then i was charging at bat. Fifteen hundred something back. The came to teddy image inside that. Was they charge. And alois chosen because we had to have a minimum of four tate.

Best Mic Boom Arms for the Everyday Podcaster

"Over did sit podcasting dot com. I came here we go. This is where stuff gets super nerdy people. Why would it matter. Uh boom stand on walks danger use. It matters and i can tell you from now running a studio where people coming here. We'd no experience on a microphone and have to within an ala. Not only presented talk when maybe they're not used to doing that and be entertaining on these shows. I'm engineering. they'll say move. Mock stands iran move marks closer and further from themselves. I'll i'll just put it this days. Bluey mock stands. I've got off to the sides p. Con say those. But i'm glad to get winning here swinging around. Yeah die Beautiful they probably the most beautiful thing in his studio in terms of how that the aesthetic design a few of the choices like the cable management. Beautiful they're not as long as my day option. Which i didn't think would bother me but it bothers me because i've got these joint chairs. That will almost single chairs. But they're almost the size of a double chair. So the has to reach out to the middle they dart hauled the white of some of these marks even with that mark an actual shock man on expecting them to without really taught everything out to the point where some people that come in he taught in the knobs to move the mock stand around if they short toll of actually going to go and basically lever it up. because i've taught him up to really really taught old. I just got this full. Dan and they're not as quiet as i should be for a mark that has apparently moving parts where it's actually cradled in the bono creeks and it shouldn't because to me it's just plastic on plastic but it does so they look beautiful people coming here and i think it's joe rogan

George Floyd: Jury Finds Derek Chauvin Guilty of Murder

"Michael gallup joins me to discuss. How the prosecution and the defense did and what to expect next. This is the court. Tv podcast with vinny politics. Welcome to the court. Tv podcast on vinnie polygon. Here we are here. We are as were recording. This we are in a verdict. Watch in the case against derek chauvin. The man accused of murdering george. Floyd closing arguments have been completed. And what we're gonna do is take take a look at those closing arguments because that is the last chance that the attorneys on both sides had an opportunity to try to influence. The jury convinced them of their case and it was interesting to watch really interesting. Michael i ala with me as court. Tv anchor. I will tell you this michael. The the one thing about this case. The attorneys were prepared. They were thorough but they were much less dramatic than i am. The the general demeanor of these attorneys was amazing. Yeah you see a lot from prosecutors but not much from the defense but on both ends. They really kind of played to even kill for the most part. Yeah i have to agree. I mean i would even go so far as to say at least it was kind of boring especially the prosecution i. I didn't want to use that. I didn't want to use that word you went there. I think i think you're right. I think especially with the length right. The length of that going on and on it there was they. Didn't they didn't vary their cadence very much. And it was very monotone. I you know when. I thought wendy. The judge finally called for a rape during the eric. Nelson's closing that went on and on it was the perfect time. 'cause i was getting

The Death of George Floyd Murder Trial: Opening Statements

"We are in the middle of the big one minnesota vs derek chauvin. The man accused of murdering. George floyd and this is a case taken on a life of its own. We know the impact. That the death of george floyd has had will now. It's time to figure out what it all means. Inside a courtroom as our system of justice takes a look at it and a jury of twelve people will decide whether or not dirk chauvin murdered. George floyd and court tv of course giving you gavel to gavel coverage of this so in this podcast really wanted take a deep dive into the opening statements because opening statements are really the roadmap for the entire trial. This is where the attorneys for both sides will lay out what they believe. The evidence will show in the case and we got a few surprises during opening statements and got a feel and a flavor for who the attorneys are. That will be trying. This case will be the voice for either side with me. Is court tv anchor. Michael i ala michael. I wanna start off. We're going to focus here on the prosecution but before we get to that i just want your overall take of both sides. The way i saw it was prosecutors came in they were polished. They were professional but not over the top in terms of passionate then. The defense came in and there wasn't quite as much polish. Not so many bells and whistles and even less passion. So what was your take of what you heard in those opening statements. I think i think you hit the nail on the head there vinnie. I think the prosecution came in very very prepared. They had a presentation a powerpoint presentation. That was extremely. Well done set out. The time line was very clear that they had a sense of where the defense was when go and they kicked off all the arguments they will go into make and made their own arguments putting into the mind of jurors the arguments that they were going to make. I thought they did a great job of what i call your ones things like He did not let up. He did not get up things like that. That will stay in the jurors minds as they continue throughout this case Excessive force is assault Things like that. That would give something. The jury can hang onto as the case

Why Tech Companies Are Limiting Police Use of Facial Recognition

"All right emily kwong so. We're talking about this announcement from a string of tech companies that they are going gonna put limits on their facial recognition technology especially when it comes to law enforcement amazon microsoft and ibm yes on june eighth. Ibm said it would discontinue general purpose facial recognition or analysis software altogether. Get out of the business completely and it made an impression after. Ibm's big letter. Amazon announced a one year moratorium on sales of they're very popular software recognition spelled with a k. To law enforcement to give congress time to implement appropriate rules so a one year ban. Yes microsoft took it a step further saying it wouldn't sell products to law enforcement at all until a federal law is in place. Here's microsoft president. Brad smith speaking to the washington post we need to use this moment to pursue a strong national law to govern facial recognition that is grounded in the protection of human rights and for matali in conde who has been pushing for regulation changes in tech for years. This was a big deal when these words were coming out of silicon valley. She felt all of the feelings. My initial was thank god. Thank god i was. I was happy. I was pleased. I was optimistic. I was short of breath. I was exhausted. Tally is the ceo of ai. For the people a fellow at both harvard and stanford universities for her. These announcements shifted the conversation. But that's about it. So i'm pleased. It's got us incredibly far but we're by no means the woods not out of the woods because for all of the advancement and facial recognition systems. Still get it wrong. They'll incorrectly match folks what's called a false positive or fail to associate the same person to two different images of false negative. Yeah and what's vaccine. Is these errors are happening. More often. when the machines are analyzing dark-skinned faces and that can disproportionally affect already marginalized communities prone to unconscious bias at the hands of law enforcement leading to false accusations arrests and much worse so until there's action on this metallic said words just aren't enough gotcha. So let's unpack this a little bit. Let's talk about how biased gets into facial recognition systems in the first place. I'd love that okay. So it starts right with how the systems learn to do their jobs. A process known as machine learning so to make facial recognition systems engineers feed algorithms large amounts of what's called training data in this case. That would be pictures of human faces. Yes the way machines learn is that they repeat task again and again and again and again and again developing a statistical model for what a face is supposed to look like so if you wanted to teach the algorithm to recognize a man you'd put in like millions of pictures of men you got it. The machine will then measure the distance between the eyes on each picture the circumference of the nose for example the ear to measurement and over time the machine starts to be able to predict whether the next image it seeing is quote a man which sounds okay right here comes the but but the machine is only a smart as its training data so remember joy ghulam weenie who i mentioned at the top of the episode. Yeah the the mit yes. So she and her colleague timid gabe developed a way to skin color in these training sets and the two they looked at were overwhelmingly composed of lighter skinned subjects. Seventy nine percent for ibi dash a and eighty six percent. For etienne's these are two common data sets that were largely as joy. Put it pale and male. So basically the training data used to create these algorithms is not diverse. And that's how that bias gets in The diversity of human beings is not always being represented in these training sets and so faces outside the systems norm. sometimes don't get recognized. Here's matala explaining what the research meant to her. That goes back to this other issue of not just hiring but a bigger issue of those no one in the team to say that you haven't put all the faces you haven't put all the digital images of all human beings could look like in the way that they sharpen society in order to recognize these faces. And it's so. After realizing how unbalanced these training sets were joy intimidate decided to create their own with equality in race and gender to get a general idea of how facial ai systems performed with a more diverse population so basically they fed it more diverse pictures to to look at. Yeah it was kind of interesting. They used images from the top ten national parliaments in the world with women in power specific yes specifically picking african and european nations and they tested this new data against three different commercially available systems for classifying gender one made by ibm the second microsoft and the third by face plus plus an running these tests joint him knit found clear discrepancies gender and racial lines with darker skinned faces getting mis classified the most. Here's mut-ali again. So one of the things that joy blue armies amazing work looks. That is the coloration between short hair and gender so many many many black women with afros where mislabeled as men mis gendered because the system had trained itself to recognize short hair as a male trait and this research project mattie produced a massive ripple effect further studies legislation in december the national institute of standards and technology or nist published a big paper of its own testing one hundred eighty nine facial recognition algorithms from around the world and they found biases to looking at one global data set some algorithms in their study produced one hundred times more false positives with african and asian faces compared to eastern european ones and when tested using another data set of mug shots from the us. The highest false positives were found among american indians with higher rates in african american and asian populations again depending on the algorithm. Wow yeah that is not what you want from your data. And i'm guessing white. Men benefited from the highest accuracy rates. Yes they did now. The knicks study did conclude that the most accurate algorithms demonstrated far less demographic bias but for multi. This evidence of bias raises a bigger question about the ethics of relying on. Ai systems to classify and police at all the problem with ai. Systems machine learning is that they're really really really good at standard routine tasks and the issue with humans is that we are not standard. We're not routine. Were actually massively messy right. We're not the same but when a police officer searches face in the system. They're not making arrests based on just spat match alone are they. Oh absolutely not. Yeah it's a tool for identifying potential suspects but if you think about how there's already implicit bias in policing critics. A facial recognition are basically saying. It doesn't make sense to embrace technologies riddled with bias to right if all this research has shown. These tools are capable of misidentifying black people. We cannot use biometric tools that discriminate against a group of people who are ready discriminated against within the criminal justice system but policing most specifically mattie. When i first spoke to mut-ali in march she was open to moratoriums on facial. Recognition like amazon is doing buying time for these systems to improve regulations to be put in place but the protests have her views. Because why why am i being moderate with completely reimagined how we interact with technology so now she wants to see facial recognition banned from law enforcement use which some cities in the us have done. Moutallos has tried to push for legislation to outlaw discrimination in technology before but it seems like now people are paying attention and have a language for talking about structural racism that they just didn't have before whether why america listened to me or not. I was gonna continue with this work. I believe that technology should be an empowering force for all people and that's my work but now having old and new ala not just allies but co-conspirators bright. I'm so happy. Because i didn't think would happen in my lifetime and it's an it's

Abbianca Makoni, independent producer, on documenting UK women gangs

"You've got the documentary gun. Goals coming out on the first of february corrects. Why don't you stop by just telling us a little bit more about that documentary. And as of what's to come there so this solution-focused documentary samson i essentially spark to those on the front line of this issue so from the grocery charities. Those who training police teaches on also the victim survivors as well. Who go to them are now trying to give back to youth and trying to draw. Young girls On boys out of crime and criminal activity so it just looking at okay. This is the issue this is about is but what is being done and what can be done essentially on dogs we hit Solutions and ideas means by about how we can do. Better essentially lows of questions come to mind of course but it's a constant an easy time to explore this with with what's happening in the world. How did how did covert kind of affect the documentary coming together. It definitely did affect it. Of course with the restrictions are times where we Some point will. I can be able to go and film this We have to via zoom. How we're gonna get you to be able to do the interview by. Luckily we actually started filming a documentary at the start of last year so we started around february and then some of the film was around march so other covid with here in the uk. It wasn't as bad as as it is now and the restrictions one as well as i guess so over the fact that you're a multimedia journalists with the evening standard. The documentary has nothing to do with the evening standard. You chosen to independently while working with sampson followed zone of course as executive producer and editor. Why did you choose to pursue this story in such small numbers. I've always loved broadcast. I guess telling stories visually and particularly on this issue in this area. This is something i. i'm very passionate about reports. Crime in knife crime in the post. But i guess i really wanted to work with someone who i was very familiar with. I've known some simple years now. And i know that this is something he also wanted to explore and again a subject matter a. He's the media with as well. Gt know where he grew up in how he grew up. And i think that's how they came to light before you know what we are too young creatives who have a passion for this issue on something that you know although affects everyone it also affects our community will. Let's do it. let's get up. Let's see what we can do together and bring the topic back into the limelight. Could you have explored this with the evening standard. Like with your day job if you wanted to. I definitely think so. I mean the evening star. They have an amazing video team. That i'm sure would have been able to do an amazing job With this project. But i think again with everything happening nineteen and then with politics brexit the us. They just so much attention going in different areas. Where i think. That's another thing. Which i guess i thought about and i thought you know what the news extremely busy right now. I'll with so many different things. This is something that i can. I guess also do on my own. I think i've mentioned. I am a self usa so with some of the videos i did self she on my own which meant that. It did allow me to do not depend on too many people so that the project could actually happen and we didn't have the delays columbine easy doing this in what must be limited spare time you you mentioned. Start to get the star of last year. Journalists are obviously well known for boehner. The candle at both ends taught me about is a honestly. I was always tired. Because of course idea what i was using my weekends saw straight off to my shift then like sailed all night. It's absolutely crazy but again when you are passionate about something when attacking very sensitive sore you're gonna give it your all and i think janice ala's walled anyway so staying up too late. It wasn't anything new to me. But again because i knew that a lot of these victims of i was saying like look. You know we've been trying to get this more in alignment they so many things you want to talk about the also about how cova has exacerbated a few of the issue so the fact that you're doing this really grateful and just hearing those things as well it does make you wanna keep pushing And using your free time to ensure that the project does get done so but it was definitely odd. It was a Walking basically seven days a week basically. But yeah i can see your passion warrants this story so close to home. While few years. I did leave the frightened to knife crime and i guess you know the issue of knife crime itself. It's something that is definitely a meeting the a whole just london but i think some people until it gets close to home. That's when you really realize how bad it is. I guess Lost my friends. I thought he just meant wearing a few young people in getting involved. more youth committees workshops. Basically trying to help Those that might be out of education all at high risk of gang life. And i guess when your communicates me about some of these children. You're hearing that going through in your hearing what they see on a day to day basis and it is one young man who was fifteen at the time who told me that he seen people get stopped in the face. And you're thinking so young and you've just experienced the west thing. So i think that is what has i guess. Giving me this passion and this is to ensure that we all highlighting some of the issues around crime as a whole and how. It's affecting young people in particular more condolences. Ibm i'm sorry to hear about fine. Listen this is a topic clearly. With a lot of sensitivities and considerations going in in a broader sense we've seen this trend of journalists going independent albeit on their own publications. And that's not specifically what you're doing here. But when i've spoken to them they've said that you know i wouldn't want to do something to in depth investigative because i don't have the the gut check that comes with perhaps a full editorial tame. Did you think about that going in that having such small numbers when you are going to be exploring something so sensitive and and ethically challenging of course i think a lot of my friends at his friends are very supportive throughout this whole I guess process while i was continuously checking in on them. And if i ever had any question it was like okay. You know what. I'm doing this documentary and know how to go about this and how to go about that and i think With some of the country the documentary. I'd watch them previously anyway. Whether it was like a youth event so there was a lot of trust that had been built. Because again added john honest. I try to be well connected with a guest different communities us that when you saw stopped topics they know they can trust you if they ever have a question or a query. They're very quick to tell you. Well how are you going to do this in high do that. Don't shy away from also challenging you and ask you how you're going to go outside and

Southwest Airlines Pushes to Expand Amid Pandemic Pressures

"The pandemic has devastated demand for air travel in response. Many airlines have pulled back offering fewer flights cutting jobs and rewriting the route maps yet. During all of this upheaval one carrier stands out. Southwest airlines is taking aggressive steps to expand. It's a high stakes gamble but southwest is betting. It'll help the company emerged from the pandemic stronger than before. Let's take a look at the company. Strategy and wide sky competitor's talking with the journals ala's insider who covers the airline industry for us. Hi allison it's always good to have you here. Thanks for having me so. Allison we should be clear. Southwest is facing plenty of struggles revenue in the third. Quarter is down. It's burning cash and it still dealing with the seven. Three seven max which won't return to service for a while yet but at the same time it's adding cities like palm springs. California steamboat springs colorado. It's also moving into big airports like chicago. O'hare is well. how can this be. yes definitely. there's no airline that has really escaped. The devastating impact of the pandemic and south west is no exception on track to lose money this year. You know really for the first time in in other breaking a forty seven year streak. It's a huge deal for the company. And they're talking about and seriously considering furloughs also for the first time in their history so you know. This is really unprecedented for them. But the strategy of being opportunistic a downturn. That's not that's not unusual for them. That's something they've done time and again in the past in sort of how they've grown throughout their history so in some ways it's it's not surprising to see them doing that again. Okay let's get into specifics. What's the strategy. What opportunity does southwest see here how they explained it was that the way their network is now. They have multiple flights day all of these cities. And that's been you know offering. That kind of schedule is sort of a big advantage for them but now that demand is down so much they just don't need to be offering five six seven flights a day in some of these places so they it means they have extra planes in extra people they need to deploy somewhere else so they sort of looked all over the country in thought like work and we really quickly move. That would kind of help bring in revenue right away for us. And that's how they picked some of these new cities as you mentioned. Southwest may break its profitability streak yet. It does have a lot of things working in its favor. It has less debt and lower costs compared to its rivals southwest. It's hard to say. Any airline is well positioned right now but southwest came into this crisis with a lot of advantages and they had a lot less debt than some of their biggest rivals so even though they've taken on a lot of debt during the pandemic they still they still have more cash than debt which is pretty rare position to be in for an and that's something that sort of gives them a little bit of a cushion and a little bit of flexibility to try things or the rivals like spirit and allegiant watching they offer low fares and find opportunities at empty your airports and is this. A big risk for south west. I was definitely watching. United executive sort of said at o'hare you know. They said we have the high grounds and they're not too worried from from what they said. But you know there are so few people traveling right now in the recovery expected to be so rocky. I i really think airlines are just competing over every passenger one. Great example of that is how the big airlines like united and american delta. Have done away with cheney's or most domestic changes. Anyway you know. That was a huge selling point for south west for years. So that's something that's going to make the competition even more heated. So what could that mean for travelers more options more competitive fares. Yes i mean over the course of its history. Southwest going into a market often brought fares down significantly and sort of got new people brought new people into traveling and something that the department of transportation once called the southwest effect. So i always tends to increase competition and bring down fares when a new entrant jumps into a market alison insider covers the airline industry for the wall street journal. Allison thanks so

HOw The Microsoft And Bethesda deal Works

"Sitting there saying that you know they become part of microsoft wants them to be exclusive to them but they wanna be i well that makes sense and pull up their actual quote now my cut down part of this because what they wrote or what they said doesn't really make sense but they just kinda did some double wording. That really was kind of stupid and doesn't make sense but a long run. This is part of their quote in the long run to be either i or better or best or pick your different differentiated experience on our platforms. So that's what they want for microsoft. They don't want to cut it out at a sony or nintendo or pc or anything else but they want to either be i better or best or pick your differentiated experience. I'm like so you're saying you want exclusive rights to it and how specific content that isn't available on other platforms with specific. Sounds like to me. Is that what is that. What you here. Yeah but that's also not super super uncommon uncommon. This kind of like and it. Also not as greedy. And i i think just like why did you just say that. We want to have it to where we have almost exclusive rights instead of just some vague weird wording because i think with with microsoft's history of running into government bodies. They have to be very careful on how things are worded because it because especially right now with everybody. Worldwide wanting to break up tech companies Ala google facebook etc. They have to be careful. I that was perfectly worded. Basically saying you know and what they said if they want you know because the video games the past of had. Ps five exclusive playstation exclusive. Xbox exclusives and i think they're one hundred percent right saying okay. This is gonna come to the xbox for the first couple of months and then release on the playstation and you can get it on whatever pc you. I'm i'm kind of wondering you know lake so remember with oblivion. There was a lot of stuff that came out for. P. c. exclusively first before it was released to the three sixty mainly like the tower. Sick horse was horse armor on first and then it came over. I think they all were because back then. It was a game that was ported. The oblivion specifically was a pc game ported to the xbox and the controls worked like that because you were in a menu hell for longtime And when they came out with What you call it. The the skyrocket was a pc. It was a console game that was reported to the computer so the controls for the menus for simpler but now i thought the way they did it for. Xbox was pretty good the three sixty when they switched it over from pcp to to consul but there was still like a bunch of stuff. That was kind of like well. I kind of wish i had that. But then you know. I made my own work arounds and i kind of enjoyed that and then when they did mods for sky rim it was like it basically flooded the game and ruined the experience for me like actually literally. I couldn't go into part of my castle. Literally ruined. Because i put him on in there and then i can give the odd because i would have lost. A bunch of shit is really screwing me over. But that's but that's that that has always his original pc gamer. That was always the issue with mods because they were never vetted they were never there. Were always at your own risk. So that was always the thing that that's why when i selected mods and i still do. I'm always looking for stuff that seems to be low rant. Low headroom something. That's not like a giant castle in something that that wits that works within my playing style. But it's also not going to screw me and i've had tremendous luck minus a few things would doing it that way anyway. I had the trial and error that kind of stuff for a while myself. But i played the damn thanks fixed bucket times before before i actually did it and i i like the fact video games have mods now especially on the console's because that was the one thing i think that was the major separator between the two and so i i do i do like that

"Ala Kathy. I'm good you. You're in Virginia. Farm. Yeah. You're Minova Farm in Virginia and made avail in. London. and. Roundabout now could be looking forward to seeing each other at fashion shows as we have done for the last. How many years? We. Want to exit. Thirty five. Something, like Nineteen eighty-seven age is not. About you were at the Detroit repress. Short News. used. And I was limited. From magazine in Canada in Toronto Canada. And we could never have anticipated what's happened to the world because? We read about things like this in history and And you know industry is being so savagely impacted. By everything that's happened and it's it's great that we're talking today because I subscribe to new magazine. you write for the. Your magazine and you've just done this enormous piece interviewing designers about the here and now their lives and. The future of the industry, and that's exactly what was supposed to be talking about today. So that's put certain. I can say to you. Tell us what you've been doing with. China's for the last. Well it started out. You Know Stella Buckby at runs the cut we were talking in now late April I think about like what do we WANNA do? For All this book Ended up being part of the. The main magazine in the preview section of what's happening in the fall. But anyway, we started talking about that and I said, you know I really just I want to talk to the the leading designers you know the the big creative minds and. Where we sort of going I, mean, it just feels different even now and I think about how we all felt what on March second and March third when we were still in Paris in winding up with. No the Balenciaga show in the retail show the last days and felt so innocent but then it felt quite different by the end of April. With Europe. All shutdown down the US at least New York Shutdown So, anyway, everybody you know it's it's Raff Simmons Marc Jacobs. Nikola just gear Mutya Rico Kuba. There's there's twelve or thirteen, and all and Everybody was home. So I had lots of time to talk to them, and they had lots of time and we talked in some cases, three times over the summer or rejects dinner we had emails that kind of thing. So it was fun. Now was there a consensus? Among people what the future holds I think you have a different view specifically of how people want will probably want address. Some bring that up pretty clearly like mmj at. I think a lot of people are really concerned You know the the. What's going on with the fashion system people have been talking about that at Nauseam for a while. So that came up a lot RAFF had a lot to say about that I think they certainly spent the month of March and April thinking a lot about this Marc Jacobs a lot and he put some of that up on Instagram to. You know coming off at incredible show that he did in February in New York and just thinking and you know he he had to lay off people on his designed team and others had take salary cuts. That the problem across the industry. And so they were talking a lot about that, and then of course, Allesandro from Goodie. Brought his his instagram out a one was mid may saying we're GONNA go to two meetings to to runway shows a year. So I think a lot of the stuff has been brewing. Yeah, and the bottom line is I, mean to me. I think it comes through in the pieces. It's all an individual choice. You know like you know Michael Kors has made his decision. What he's GonNa do I think Gucci's made their decision to Michael Burke for this piece is the CEO of Vitale and you know. They're gonNA. You know he thinks that the traveling runway shows the future. So all that concerned about you know how big the shows I think I think in the long run we'll see a I mean in the short run will see. Pause, as as we as we deal with the pandemic and we don't know what quite the end game is on that. So I think we've seen a lot of experimentation in the last six weeks two months with digital perform digital shows and presentations and. I think going forward. You know you know it's a huge industry i. think that's the thing is bleak as it seems is a huge industry.

UFC featherweight champ defends title in split decision

"I Will Fight Island was officially christened tonight for the UFC in Abu. Dhabi there was no baptism to be had in the main event of UFC two fifty one. What's going on everybody? Welcome to the official. You have to fifty one post fight. Show here on, May, finding dot com I'm Mike Heck location this week from Boston Massachusetts visiting the parents this weekend. That is Jose Jose. Main Event Kamara, who's been retains a welterweight title against Whore Mazal. Challenger looked pretty darn good in that first round. I'm pretty surprised that judges gave in that first round, but it was the much fresher champion that was able to sort of chip away at the always game, or hey mazda throughout the fire Ab. Fresher champion but Komo. Zeman was basically been in camps since beginning of this year, despite was like Ben Booked and booked in both supposed to fight earlier this by giving burns, and also muzzle steps in, so yes, he's finally fresher because he he's had the full camp and everything but I think Kamara wasn't one hundred percent in that fight, either considering this long extended, Feick at Ala, similar to twenty Ferguson with all these these these fights falling apart, but Kamara who's been one nonetheless, might not have been the most exciting fight. I saw a couple of tweets complaining about the fight and I really take that. I felt it was a lot of fans that were on this very muzzle hype train. He's on the video game cover on this baptism round the resurrection Super Necessary Punches bef tile, and that they were expecting violence, even mice I myself said fight between WHO's minimize well probably has a higher chance of ending in a violent way, but it did not come out who's been one I had them winning all five rounds the first round I guess. Didn't really matter to me. Who won that? I still come who's been what at least four of the rounds comfortably? The people complain about. The foot stopped the wrestling the headbutts. That stuff will come out. Who's been did what he had to do to win. That's exactly why I thought he would. Take, her might as well because all the time Mazal taking this fight on short notice. Kamara also took this fire. On short notice gets an extra a completely different fighter between Gilbert Burns as well. It's completely rechange leftist camp Had his new trevor wittman is corn for the first time fighting the guy all this bad blood is in the air all the pressures on him, and perform a like we ourselves, said all the pressures on who's Madonna not not a whole lot on Mazal, but at the end of the day. Who's been doing what he had to do? I didn't have a problem with the way fought. Might not have been the most exciting, but if I was going to pick up, predict away whose men would pull this off. This is exactly how I thought he would do it. Yeah, when you get a fight like this and you have a guy as hot as MAS. Bat brings in a lot of the casual fan base. Does your watch? As many events as we watch, and some of the hardcore fans watch everything so most people expected this fight to go exactly that way I thought the first row was going to be the most interesting round, obviously, because of Mazda was going to get it done. He's probably going to have to do it in the first five minutes, and this is the fire. We got like Mara. Who's been defends his title. For the second time. It was another classic who's been like performance and he gets a one-sided win and highly anticipated main event so in the end. We like to talk about the overall letter grade, but it felt like just kind of looking at the time slot when we're all said and done. We're getting ready to hit record here. We're just like man this is this is super late like I feel like the card and the whole night in a weird way. Wet Kinda slow did it not. started off really really quickly. Might just. Like I feel like the first few flew by and all of a sudden I had been watching fights for two and a half three hours and I'm like wow, this fight is cars going quickly I like this pace, and then we the main card and Amanda he boss comes in, and just submits patriots immediately i. wish went exactly as I expected, but then there was decision with Rosen on drugs, and then even Yawn Aldo finish, but it was in the fifth round, so there's still basically fought for twenty five minutes, and then we get twenty five minutes, Vulcanology Holloway and then we get twenty five minutes of in Mazda, also of these we've seen. We saw that graphic on the screen like. All the cards are three title fights, and like we used to fourteen had like Woodley Maya in Jones, a cormet and Cyborg Abinger, and then to seventeen to five those had some bangers like like two to seventeen had three epic fights three like violent, like just three of the craziest finishes you'll see. And then, of course to a five, the CONOR McGregor show, and then to seventeen had the DC Jones trilogy, so I think we're a little maybe. We'll. We'll spoiled on these three. These three title fight cars while we're expecting something like that and I loved all all great fights off spectacular fights, but I think a lot of fans are tuning in to see fight island. In the Mazar strain, all these title-fights might have been. A limited. I could see why they might have been little disappointed. I didn't have a problem with it, but probably was the night Dana White wanted in terms of finishes. Yeah, the main event may have disappointed some people but for. The Sake, this is like the best thing that could have happened for the welterweight division like if you're burns. Edwards these guys are pretty happy right now. Especially Gilbert Burns. One hundred percent I mean we. We set it on count after it was on what the heck or or post eyesore produce. All kind of blend together at this point in the summer, but we. We said if Moslem Dole wins. That's going to be a problem for the US's pockets the welterweight division I mean. We were talking about him fighting the bringing the both belts so that the Conor McGregor. The table and all this. Kamara who's been one and it's? It's a no brainer that Gobert burn gets three matches. Suppose he should've been fighting tonight. before covid nineteen October, nineteen. That's applaud the car, so yeah, for all the way division, and the the the martial art fans of the world that don't like quote unquote. Holding divisions I think that's a good thing, but I. Honestly I love chaos at Moscow had one I. Think I, think it would have been fun time in the world of May. And Mazda all. Let's be clear. We all know this. He was the a side heading into this fight. He's the reason. There was a lot of buzz and a lot of fanfare when you had a guy like game bread in the street that he's on. That's what happens, but a lot of people wanNA know where he goes from here. Because despite losing the fight tonight, he still has a ton of options moving forward. Chaos can still rain in some way Jose. Can you say that again? You cut off quick second. Chaos can rain. For horny Mas at all got about it because he's got so many options moving forward despite the loss tonight. Yeah, I mean Hoy Mazdas. All I'm Kamara. WHO's been himself set like he's GonNa. He's like. He's like he's GonNa. Lose all these like excuses. Bill didn't talk the finance days notice flu costs. The country doesn't have was coach in the gym, covert nineteen this and that so like I. Don't think I of course I think Mazda obviously cooled anytime. You lose. You cool a little bit Conor McGregor and Nadir's, and it's such an insane finish that they run it back, and you have another epic fight like that, but for Mazda all you're obviously going to a little bit but he himself said. Let me, get a couple of wins and they'll run back. I'm sure he want. He would love to five full camp but the Colby College. Is there I? Think that is going to drum up a whole lot of interest I. think people might even be more interested in that fight in the dynamic between those two fires, oarsmen and I think that Kobe Covington already Moslems? Fight does not need a title online. That's just two guys. They hate each other I wanNA break brick on each other's faces. WHO'S MCCANN? Fight Gillard. Leeann, Edwards of course out there, wonder boy thompsons, working his way up Santana, positive I think has covered to so he somewhere out there, so the welterweight division will move, but for now Mazda all. Of course cooled, but he's still I think still the hottest commodity hundred seventy pounds.
