Well, I was going to say, this is what they did on the left. In essentially sort of during 2016 and then predominantly after, was that they basically decided to start bypassing the DNC. This was like Elizabeth Warren's whole career was based on attacking these things, but actually know that's what the national Democrats have realized is that they want to be pouring money. It's like when you look up the Soros prosecutors and you're trying to find, okay, who did George Soros give money to? And it's actually very complicated how the money goes through because there's this group and then they have a 5 27 that they move the money to and there's a statewide group and the names like one word off from the other name. That was, you know, that was a staff decision is kind of a one off They were. They were really just seeing you tell, Let's let's let's just rewind and start at the beginning. I don't know. I guess this was in May. This was what an editorial Yes, at all. Maybe just, you know, because of all the ongoing coverage leading up to the primary for DEA, and just in general about are are murdered. Issue in this city, which is the wise the incredible rise of homicide. Even outlying the rest of the country. So while Daniel Outlaw Jin Kangol say, Oh no, this is a national trend because of Covid. That's ludicrous. Philadelphia Had 238 murders this year. So far as of this morning, that's a 38% rise on last year's record, 499 officially reported. Which was the highest since 1990. So when you consider the gravity of the situation, 2013 and 2014 were 246 and 248 murders for the whole year, and we're not even through the first half of the year yet. Um, this is sad, and we've decided the weekly to put out this thing the contest to see you know, basically like a county fair contest. Yes, the murder rate, you know, Guess how many murders and we'll give you some quote unquote sweet swag. Um, you know, basically give away contest picked the jelly beans in the jar. This This resulted in this media backlash about how cool we are Two victims. Which doesn't hold water. It only shows that the the reporters that are coming out against us whether it be media ICT. Or you know that inquire Helen or Venus? Who is you know it devoid of any thought, Original partner head, um, coming after us and saying, Well, this was cool for victims. Well, what about all the other covers? We've put out? About the rampant corruption and, you know, crime policy that has led to these murders. There's went on that so so it's cruel to victims to take a guess for readers to to speculate just how dire and how deadly and how bad the city We'll get Like it. Is that what what? Why is that cruel? The victims. It's cruel to because making light of Yeah. Murder near eyes, But here's the joke. It shows that it's true journalism. Is dead at the end Key in the Daily News. It does because you know if you're a student of real newspaper journalists from you know the good old days, whether that be you, Jimmy Breslin in New York or stood by Kaskey, who's now with You know the weekly or, you know, people like Charlie lived up in Detroit. These are people who know how to bring light to a situation. And if that means sarcasm. If that means satire, so be it because our mayor and our district attorney Are jokes. And they have appointed a police commissioner who was a joke and the murders are going up and up and up, and nobody seems to care. And when we pointed out Republicans pounce, which is, you know the whenever someone has caught whether the hunter Biden or you know, some under a local level. Oh, you guys are pouncing. You're making light of a situation. She deserves far more time on the networks and she's given and they clearly share my point of view in giving her the Fox News primetime slot right after Brett Baer and just before Tucker Carlson at seven P.m. Eastern. They did it a couple of weeks ago, and it went so well, they said, Well, we've got to have her back. I fully expect, like I don't know how long this system of rotating hosts will happen, Tammy Bruce, But my odds are I'm going to the casino and putting all my money on Tammy Bruce is permanent host of the time slot. You mentioned Their advisors, of course, the surrounded by paid people who do a lot of this stuff, and I'm I'm inclined to say Oh, yeah, ask them Don't be kid tweeted that or some dopey kid made the cookies or whatever, but You still think it has to cross their desk? At some point, and there's a discussion about it if there seems to be no reining him of the narcissism. True. It's like now that we're all going back to the movies. It's like very, very bad movies. You think how many people had to decide that a certain movie was a good But and should be released and because you know, even things it will when we when we're deciding what we're going to be talking about, it crosses our mind about what's appropriate. You just noted your audience about whether or not you know it's a bright to talk about someone who just left your show it You know, I think of course you should gossip about them, but but especially if it's a politician they love to be talked about. They really don't care. That's true. Um, and you know, we we make these these, uh, decisions about ethics and, uh, you know what's appropriate. Values all the time when we do our things, and the reality is and this is what I warned. My audience is about as well is that we very much almost always overestimate politicians. Is that we project onto them, and we must stop. Look at the condition of our lives, especially if you're a person of color. If you're in an urban area, and you have to wonder why in generation says my life, not gotten better. It's because you presume the people you elect are going to be like you. Because you would never do to anybody else's family with what politicians are doing to yours, and so we don't imagine these people being dumb and that's a big factor is that these politicians are just dumped. Like the cookie thing. That was a dumb idea, and she went for it. That should worry you because that that low base of decision making impacts all other choices and so you can look at the small things when we just make decisions about People. We work with people in in our personal lives. If you can. It's easier to.
