K. forty seven release that baby S. K. that was a earlier model I don't know exactly what it was but it was flying through a full grown birch tree this thing we had to have been fourteen fifteen sixteen inches around the trunk and it was just wide right you watch it go just like with him right through this tree I'm gonna correct my previous organic to mammal it will stay in a mammal that you should more the ammunition though or is it really more the the firearm itself well it's mostly the ammunition but I mean if you're shooting something like super high caliber it's going through it doesn't matter right so what to do we had a hot water heater that my friend had a three fifty seven and he shot it through the water heater went through both sides and then someone shot the the you know made it S. dies maybe a little bit round like a size of a nickel and we shot an eight eight forty seven AM made a US when it came out the other side was all jagged and rep and was like the size of the value of fifty cent piece the monumental yeah this we don't want to exit hole well I'm so if you think about for instance the twenty two long this is a tiny little ball at its point to to of evidence right so it's you know two tenth two tenths of an inch to twenty two hundredths of an inch a cross a two to three round is not much wider than a twenty two long but the the round is about this you know it's about four or five inches long where the twenty two long is a little over an inch right and all the rest of that is how gun powder not not real gun powder but I mean do you know the the new modern equivalent of gun powder Oakland right okay and that propellant takes that round and fires it right you know significantly faster so yeah that's the issue thank you for the call Tom per share to let's go to gene the Christian anarchists calling in on our discord lines Jeanne I haven't tested it but are you there yes I'm here how you all's well what's on your mind okay yeah I wanted to talk about the fears that I have and of course my biggest fears loss of liberty and it happens at the hands of all of those people at the top that wanna tell us how to live our lives now ice definitely more of a bunch of the people at the bottom all of a sudden as well yes and the story and I'm very afraid of the influence of the CCP in the pharmacy trainees Communist Party Chinese Communist Party in our media in our newspapers in things like YouTube and Twitter and they're getting their little fingers and everything now I do see some backlash due to this corona virus which you know maybe that's the one thing that the corona virus actually may help us in I'm but the backlash from the world is Maddalena or Johnny world people are mad at the CCP well I think there's a little of both of them okay because and I know some I love Han Chinese people I mean you know call me a racist but I just think these people are awesome like they you know wherever they go in the world they work hard they make businesses they integrate into communities I just level call me a racist I don't know the difference yeah well well I'm I married one so I have to agree with you there so anyway what I wanted to say is that these people at the top whether they're C. C. P. or whether their president the United States or whatever they are the cat congressmen senators they get there well even more so the more important people above the congressman the senators on the president's which are the the uber wealthy movers and shakers in the world they know something that we the little people don't know and I've tried to you know spread this word around as much as I can they know that there is no such thing as law there is laws of fiction yeah there isn't any law they don't live their lives as if they are bound by a law because they know they are not their only bound by you know kissing the feet or other part of the anatomy of the person who's got more power than they do that is the only thing that they recognize and that sort of thing right that is historically they in fact what is real I mean there's some Machiavellian read the prince you know who and you will really lets it right think that's really what happens the rest of us the laws are for us not them yet yep and the laws are fiction and this is why when one of the bushes awhile back said that the constitution is just the G. the piece of paper I said yes he's got a you know he told the truth the actually told the truth because all these people that worship the constitution don't realize it's only for us little people it's just throw us into thinking there's actually some kind of law it's supposed to put them to control the government initially just to placate the people free talk there is built for performance the mobility twice the durability all backed by the unconditional satisfaction guarantee last year to.

"Which part of the season when we're when we start writing the show The first couple of months we ride the show for six months the first two months. I'm still in the writer's room writing In pitching sketches yeah And then at that two month mark I leave the writer's room to start prepping the scripts that we have and start getting ready ready for production which will happen four months three or four months later and then I'm still going in the writer's room every day I'm not to pitch anymore but to you. Know to read the scripts into vote on sketches and talk about production concerns. Maybe asking begging to stop writing so many sketches About that movie three hundred because it's very difficult to produce sketches with thousands of puppets Once we're in production I'm usually here from eight. AM till seven every night From nine till six shooting leading so people might not understand those practicalities of something like three hundred when you have traditional animation. Just another drawing in this. It's a whole new physical world that you've got to build. Yes yes and you go in there. And you see these scripts come and you're like what the fuck. Yeah Yeah and you and you ruined. People's dreams will no. I mean just just like my my weird Notion that this is a drama. I also try at because I'm coming at it from being the writer originally. I don't want to curtail anyone's vision. In the writer's room so I will generally initially say in in my opinion right. Whatever you want we'll figure out how to make it When we get to final scripts When we're doing the final punch-up vase On the scripts. I'll get in there and all all point out very specific things that are difficult or you know if there's a a character that shows shows up there's a you know a deformed mutant giant with wings that shows up for literally one shot You know we'll try to come up with another solution than spending thousands of dollars and man hours building one poppet that you're gonna see for three seconds. Do you remember what some of the more expensive ideas is Oddly this season we did an expensive in terms of can can be a lot of things it could be. Be The number of sets it could be The number of puppets the number of very specific puppets or it could just be how long it takes to share sketch ambitious. Maybe yeah and this season we did A. We did a sketch based on the old show. Pete and Pete and from the looks of it. It looks like it's nothing it's a bunch of character saying I'm pete over and over and over for about two and a half minutes but it is hundreds of characters and it is is when we've story board it and finished in the enigmatic. I think it was like close to fifty shots for one sketch which is insane We we generally really do In one eleven minute episode of robot chicken we average around one hundred twenty shots per episode hundred twenty shot and explain what a what a shot. What is a shot? Is One camera setup. So you know a close up of Harrison Ford Reacting to seeing the holy grail. That's one shot then turning the camera around and looking at the holy grail. That's one hundred twenty shots per episode. Some episodes have far more and some have a little bit less so one sketch with fifty shots but but it also has sort of this very epic cinema quality to it so so so the camera is not very stationary. It's moving all the time which adds another layer of of production difficulty To each shot because we have to either manually move the camera within each shot or we have to Use Commotion Control which is basically for lack of a better term robotic camera move And and so this. This one sketch I think it took us. We started shooting it our entire production schedule the season with six months from beginning to end we started shooting it. I think three months into the schedule and it was the last shot. The last shot of the season was from the sketch. In how long has this sketch. I think sketches around two minutes. Wow Yeah a lot of times. We'll put an animator on one sketch and they'll they'll animate the entire sketching and it's it's good for them it gives them ownership of it With this sketch And it's a great sketch. I'm really happy with it. But what the animators would be on it for about three shots and they would start you could see it. Their eyes were darting around and they're starting to lose their minds so I just cycle cycle people in and they'd all have to do their duty on on the Pete and Pete Sketch how have how is this show grown then for you. I guess physically. It's just gotten more animators Komo sets and and also I'd imagine. The nature of the topics has grown up or maybe not grown run up grown younger. I don't know I mean that's the biggest one to me. I think production wise. It's it's still kind of the same beast. We've we've gotten a little. They'd better year to year making the show where were a little bit more efficient I think the the assets look better. Now the you yeah the sets and the puppets all the quality increases incrementally Every season and Just I mean if you put season one season ten. It's like you're watching a show from an alien planet and something from today but and you know they're still just as charming and weird. Goes that you that you prefer I mean most of my Go-to don't usually work in the room. So Like what well like. I try to write a lot of David Lynch sketches and then I later found out. Most writers writers in the room have never seen a David Lynch movie I had A. I had a sketch called eraserhead. Baby grows up and it was exactly that it was the baby from eraserhead and we see him grow up and go to college and he's still swaddled in his little swatting and He has a family and I got all the way through to script and then we did. We have this like horrid vic round when we are scripts are always too long and everybody gets a secret vote at the end of the day you send in your votes of what you want to cut to try to get the scripts down to the link. They need to be and suddenly. My eraserhead baby grows grows up sketch. Got The axe from every single person in the room except me the unanimous. Yeah and I I came in as what the fuck is wrong with you guys. You loved this and somebody I think it was Tom. Route said well I got to admit I've never seen eraserhead but I thought that baby looked funny. I didn't understand the sketch. was there a moment like And and the time that you've been here like what happened with the annoying orange when the floodgates of celebrities opened up and people were actively seeking to be on the show I mean it seems like it's that way on this show all the time And we'll still. We'll still else shoot for you know Tom Cruise and Harrison Ford and guys like that and you know most of the time. We can't even get past their agents but occasion like some of the some of the people come in our mind blowing and who come back you know our mind blowing And you direct them. Yeah do you find yourself feeling strange to be directing some of these big names Not Usually but I I think the cat's out of the bag on this one so I think I'm allowed to say that we had David Lynch on the show. This season and seth and I went to his house to direct him in his home studio and I was so happy. Seth was there. Because I've never become. I'm so tongue tied around anyone I just you know I just love David Lynch so much and I love his work every everything that he he does have his photography has his music And it was just I've never i. I've never ver- freaked out about somebody like that. So what was it like you get in the car and drive over to his house. We went over. Yeah we went over to his house today at night during the day We sat in the studio with his assistant and one of his producers and waited for him and I assume he was meditating on prompt He was a couple of minutes. Might have been a couple minutes late But came in and was just as gracious as could be and Just kept asking us what we wanted wanted from him and Went into the booth and and we proceeded to ask David Lynch to read the lines. He was fantastic he. We did as many times as as we need to Does he do a couple takes first and then ask for direction or how does that. How did that we just dove dove right in? He do he did in one. And then we'd we'd adjust Yeah it was. It was pretty great and he was kind incredibly kind. Yeah just sweet and lovely and gracious and friendly and inquisitive. Yeah so so. We got the Pete and Pete Sketch coming up. What are some things people should be looking forward to in this new sees? Oh man we've got some good bitch pudding coming back. Oh what else There's a great venom sketch. Catch the Tom Hardy Venom with Chris Pine as Tom. Tom Hardy and Venom We've got Oh speaking being of Chris Pine we've got a great captain Kirk sketch coming up That may or may not feature him as Captain Kirk What else great? Musical stuff There's Godzilla the musical. We've got a lot out of Said show about DYSTOPIA. Where we're the women are all in slave to make babies handmaid's handmaid's as we got a lot of handmaid's tale sketches? You find things rise into the GEIST each year. Yeah for sure. Yeah for sure. Yeah we had so many handmaid's Tale L. sketches early on in the season is your show is Some some sort of a reflection on current events in a weird. Yeah Yeah Yeah where do you watch what do you watch or listen to Found us from stuff. Well let's see. What do I watch people? People always find my my taste and television I'd I like A lot of different things. I like ghost adventures. Yeah Zach Baggins. I've tried so hard to write ghost adventures sketches and it's impossible to parody that show I like God what did I it just oh I love. The boys boys was great. Do you feel like whenever you're consuming content whenever you're watching TV. Or what did you always feel like. You have to have a take the back of your mind not really I mean it's I don't watch as much television. Some people do here. I'm specifically referring. Bring Matt Send Rice. As foundational things not not the videos themselves but just my interpretation reputation of of stuff that i learned from him <hes> because it's very very comprehensive and the nice thing is that he will take his time explaining explain everything and he'll play multiple times vacc- you can actually hear the differences in what he's doing which a lot of people won't a lot of people's okay.
