"Self regulate. But unlike cooking monster, most of us kind of Don't do very well at this. You know, if you look at the stats, on average about 20% of the time, people are trying to resist the temptation they give into it For things that are difficult and important. It's even worse. If you look at New Year's resolutions, 8% of them are kept to the years than 25% of them are gone by mid January. And so this strategy of relying on kind of logic and willpower was the best that we had to offer. It's pretty poor because we're failing. Okay. Need waited long enough. I'm not. No, no, no, no. Nothing. Most of us think of self control in the context of personal goals, things like health or exercise, David, But you also need self control. To be a good person to act with integrity. You once conducted an experiment that tested the relationship between self control and people's willingness to act with integrity. You asked volunteers to choose between a difficult task and an easy task. Using the equivalent off a coin flip. Can you describe the experimental setup to me? Sure subjects would come in, and we told them there were two tasks that needed to be done along an onerous one or a shortened fun one, and then we gave them the opportunity to flip a coin to decide what they were going to do. And if you ask people, what should you do? People will say, Well, of course, you should follow what the coin says. That's the only time we get kind of unanimity psychological study that I've ever seen. Yes. The vast majority of people when they believe they're alone, and no one can see what they're choosing. Either. Don't flip the coin and just give themselves the easy task, or they flip the coin get the wrong answer, because, of course, we have rigged the coin so that it comes up such that they should do the hard to ask. That's a virtual coins. I keep flipping it until that comes up with the with the answer they want. Huh? What were these two tasks, David that what was the difficult task of people wanted to avoid? Sure, the difficult task was presented as a serious of 45 minutes of long and onerous logic problems, the things that you might have to do it like the G R E the S A. T and the short task was said about 10 minutes. It's a It's a fun image Hunt von computer screen. I see. And so you found, I think upwards of 90% off your volunteers succumbed to the temptation of cheating. We did. Yes, we did. And, you know, these are normal people just like you and me. But in those moments where we think we can get away with something People will, but the most interesting part about it was when you asked them later. How fairly that that did they act. Most of them just created a story for why it was OK for them to do that. This time. I really didn't want to be late for something. My favorite story was on kitchen. Not they said to one person said to me. Well, the guy was sitting out in the hall, who I thought was gonna be coming next. He looked like an engineering major, and I thought he would like the logic problems. Right? So you know, but the tricky part of About this right is if we're willing to rationalize away our.

"Didn't anticipate accurately the cost of sweaters, so don't write down the item right down the dollar amount. And put a dollar amount next to every person on your list. Now, when you're done, add it all up and is the total dollar Less or equal to what you had said in the beginning you would spend in total If it is, then you're ready to shop. But if the total you now have exceeds the amount you had earlier said you wanted to spend you need to start cutting. You either need to remove people from your list entirely or you need to reduce the amount of money they were going to spend on individual people on the list. You gotta work at it to get the numbers down. Where it matches what you said you would spend Now here's something else you got to keep in mind. You must factor and three additional costs that everybody forgets, but it adds up number one. The cost of sales tax, depending on the state where you live. This could add 23456% to your budget number two. Wrapping paper and cards. And ribbons. You're going to spend money on all that. So add it all up number three shipping expenses. If you're going to be incurring those costs you need to recognize between all of those you could add 10 to 20% to your budget causing you to overspend. How do you a deal of that You simply Acknowledge it. When you talk about the amount of money you're going to spend per person lower that number by 10 or 20%, so it inherently allows you some wiggle room to pay for these extra related costs. It's really that simple. Now there's one final element that used to be very effective. But it only worked in a pre Internet age. I used to tell people go to the bank go to the A. T. M Take you amount of money You said you would spend.

"Big one thousand seven hundred on A. T. and C. I'm gonna do something now a little bit different than I normally do and of course I would I talk about the the national media and and how they have really dropped the ball when it comes to the Mike Flynn story this is a a piece that was written by heather Digby Parton in salon dot com and it is entitled Michael Flynn walks free and Donald trump's massive betrayal of America continues she's obviously a leftist hi heather Digby Parton also known as Digby was the winner of the twenty fourteen Hillman prize for opinion and analysis journalist so I don't know what the Hillman prizes but apparently she wanted which I guess means she's some writer of note and this is what she writes it with regard to what Michael Flynn and Donald Trump will Flynn B. right wings Nelson Mandela of course that's insulting but so is the entire presidency this entire presidency referring to Donald Trump and she writes in this time of global pandemic and Great Depression economics so let's stop right there and Great Depression economics if you're listening earlier today I talked about a group called the Lincoln project and they have an ad out there and they're attempting now to lay the economy the current state of the economy at the doorstep of Donald Trump they're trying to lay every coronavirus death at the doorstep of Donald Trump hoping that by the time the election gets here people are forget what it is that caused us to be in the situation that we're in so that's how she starts off global pandemic and Great Depression economics she writes it seems almost quaint think back just a few months remember simpler days once upon a time we were all concerned with the impeachment trial of the president of the United States and that is true concerned with the impeachment trial of the president of the United States while this is the wheel on virus was just getting rolling in China and this country so you've you've probably seen the the videos you see in the pictures Nancy Pelosi while people are catching the coronavirus we're getting our first reports of coronavirus here and and the United States Nancy Pelosi was handing out pens to all her a buddies there in Washington so she continues talking about the the impeachment trial of president and worried about whether or not he had been bamboozled into betraying the nation to its cunning adversary Vladimir Putin so she writes this in light that we know none of that was true but she writes it anyway the trump is a pop up puppet of latam you're put it all seems so far away now as we face the daily onslaught of statistics showing Americans dying by the tens of thousands and thirty million people out of work but then the Russia investigation and the Ukraine scandal of which there was no scandal with Ukraine we're really just an earlier chapter the same story the Donald Trump magnum opus called American carnage want to trust any leads inexorably to the other on Thursday we witnessed another nail being pounded into the coffin of the department of justice as Attorney General bill bars attempt to re write the conclusions of the mall report continue unabated we still await the release of the derm report which looks at this point to be a bi partisan hit job run out of the attorney general's office she has absolutely no evidence of that but she writes in anyway and she also writes that bill Barr is attempting to rewrite the conclusions of the middle of the molar report and what were the conclusions of the whole report no collusion no obstruction but yet they see this is how the leftists in this country thank they think there can be only one narrative and there are people who still believe to this day you may be listening to me right now you may believe that trump didn't collude with Russia you may believe the trump did act in a way the president did act in a way with the leader of Ukraine to try and gain some favor politically and get some dirt on Joe Biden but we know now that none of that is true so let's get back to the peace here by ms up Digby Parton heather Digby Parton let's see but in the meantime barn his accomplices decided to give the trump called a little red meat to tie them over by dropping their prosecution of former national security adviser Michael Flynn the man who pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI and that is true Michael Flynn did lie to the FBI why did he lie to the FBI because they set him up with an improper investigation told him that his son would be going down next after him if he didn't cop to something totally fraudulent totally wrong any pleaded into it anyway he's not the first one to plead guilty to something he didn't do and we know that beyond any shadow of a doubt now it is not in the least surprising the bar would be sympathetic to Flynn even without president trump trump open proselytising on his behalf they are both immersed in right wing fever swamps at a level that makes them little more credible than your average GMAT got Twitter bot okay clever writing there but I have no idea what any of that means Barcelona's true colors when he auditioned for the Attorney General job by writing an unsolicited memo to the White House explaining why the mood Mueller investigation was illegitimate okay unsolicited so what your lottery it yet we have freedoms of speech freedom of expression in this country he can write a memo to the White House if he sees fit and the Mueller investigation was illegitimate as we now know but she writes this as though none of that A. I. has come to light when famously let his wing not flag fly at the Republican convention in twenty sixteen when he led chants of lock her up later he extolled the virtues of this race far right provocateur Milo you're not you're you're not apple is I can't say last name and spread conspiracy theories that accuse Hillary Clinton of pedophile you're telling me that my slender that spread conspiracy theories of Hillary Clinton pedophile you if that's true I have I have not seen that so we'll have to let that one pass for now when Flynn was first arrested he seem to sober up and cooperate with federal prosecutors well at least there were reports from unnamed sources and it and this goes back this is been a hallmark of the trump era in the national media unnamed sources so when Flynn first got arrested these unnamed sources were saying that he was going to flip on trump and testify against them never happened you seem to sober up and cooperate with federal prosecutors offering them value information with regard to his various nefarious and lucrative schemes with foreign governments as a result Miller's team went remarkably easy on him recommending probation so the only way she gets that is because he did some work with some of foreign companies or some foreign governments and not may not have been registered as a foreign agent that's a really nothing more than a paperwork com a complication let's see the judge in this case one oppressed our rental plan here to try harder Flynn sentencing was delayed and in the interim he returned to the fox news bunker fired his competent lawyers and replace them with political hacks people fire their lawyers all the time it's no big deal and the lawyer he hired was the one that was able to achieve the the result that we had this week turned out to be a smart strategy afterall hill in all likelihood be able to make a great deal of money in the wing nut welfare racket after he becomes the Nelson Mandela of the trump campaign I have no idea what that means and she says it's not an exact adds it's not an exaggeration the daily beast reports two years ago when Nelson Mandela came to America after years of political persecution he was treated like a rock star by Americans John McLaughlin one of president trump's chief pollsters told the daily beast on Thursday evening now after over three years of political persecution general Flynn as our rockstar a big difference is that he was persecuted in America he was persecuted in America by an out of control FBI that appears to have been directed from the White House at that time and the person in the White House that time was Barack Hussein Obama Michael Flynn did not serve a day in jail this move to drop the indictment is unprecedented show favoritism for an ally of the president of United States Mandela she writes with question mark not exactly question mark so this whole notion of comparing Michael Flynn to Mandela seems flimsy at best I really don't understand that because one person happened to use a term rockstar and she equate that with Mandela somehow and this woman want to price for a analysis analysis journalism but I continue to New York times quoted several legal scholars were flabbergasted by this decision all saying the legal rationale was absurd former federal prosecutor in New Jersey Attorney General Anne Milgram argued that the context of the Cision is even more important Barr's justice department was undercutting law enforcement officials and prosecutors who investigated twenty sixteen election and its aftermath which we now know was all totally fraudulent what is she talking about she's pretending like a lot of other people want to pretend that this was somehow legitimate effort on the part of the FBI and prosecutors to rack up plan and go after trump I continue she continued not one legal and SO four or five prosecutor could think of a case in which someone had lied to the FBI Empleados guilty twice he did not lie to the FBI even the agents who interviewed him and then we also know that the three oh twos the the reports as they right after the interview or altered as well the FBI was the one doing the line so they want to act like this is unprecedented unprecedented they like to say but none of it was true the predicate for all this none of it was true and bar knows it she says get a load of this smug comment to CBS news revealing to all the world that this is nothing more than partisan combat so Catherine Herridge who is an outstanding reporter one of the few and not in the national news media I used to work at fox recently went to CBS news she's interviewing bill Barr and she asks how long history look back on your decision to drop charges against Flynn and Barbara says this in response well history is written by the winners so it largely depends on who's running the history and that is true.

"A. T. A. R. is the phone number to call now we got a health poll question going on on my website today love to get your opinion of it goes like this if you haven't heard enough already it's about course parole virus now renamed Colby did not eighteen we try to make this stuff is complicated as confusing as possible by just putting more medical jargon and mumble jumble to it but it happens here's the question on my website at Dr Bob dot com after hearing nonstop news about corona virus are you personally concerned about it yes or no are you concerned about it are you thinking about it some people have put the brakes on their travel plans they've shut down there they're out of their list of things to do in life I E. not traveling anymore their bucket list is shut down big time people are now not able to visit their relatives for fear that they're going to contract a corona virus and economy is suffering from it it is complicated folks you might want to check out my latest Facebook post this last week about corona virus but when you look at the details sort of an update if you would I know you're sick of hearing it I'm sick of talking about it a corona virus the update about seventy six thousand people infected right now on about twenty eight countries over a thousand deaths and rising but you gotta worry less when you see numbers like this two point three percent death rate two point three percent death rate now when you hear these numbers going out you all cash it's just it's coming my way I just know it as well every year the centers for disease control and choirs light prevention and tells us that influenza the flu will the all have about nine million to forty five million cases of flu each year here in the U. S. at about twelve thousand to sixty one thousand deaths each year from the flu that according to the CDC which I think a lot of times you we see a lot of fuzzy math going on any heavy handed approach to try to motivate you to get flu vaccine so when you compare that to what we've got going on right now with a corona virus and we only see like two point one percent death rate in people who are older who are compromised their poor health or they have some chronic health problems like lung disease high blood pressure diabetes heart disease and when you think about the place where this where the epicenter is ground zero with corona virus in Wuhan China I've been to China in these large cities you can't even see the tops of the buildings in Wuhan just like many of the other cities and out of Beijing and and and Shanghai place you can't see the tops of the buildings it's so polluted their people are breathing in garbage all day long almost to the extent that it's like every single person is smoking cigarettes all day long and then you add to that the cigarettes and they don't smoke because Chinese people are some of the most prolific if smokers we wonder why there's such a high mortality rate within a certain area of the at the center of all this so it's it's it's complicated females are faring better than males as it relates to morbidity and mortality and if you got the Wuhan infection we hauled over the coals in nineteen of the corona virus if you got it this month it's better than last month because we know a lot more about it so you know I point I put on my Facebook page some things some practical things you can do nutrition you know the good old stuff wash your hands don't sneeze try to run from sick people all that to try to insure you not getting ill in the first place but nutrition is so important making sure your your body is receiving the nutrients that you otherwise don't giving your food supply because most of us don't get the appropriate amount of nutrition vitamins minerals amino acids etcetera in our food supplies we need to take a supplemental in order to hedge ourselves against the risk of getting ill in the first place in fact we're gonna be joined very shortly here by eight eight heart doctor a cardiologists local here in the Phoenix metropolitan area who's an expert on heart health cardiology is also an expert on the use of pharmacologic agents and natural agents to strengthen the body so he's going to be talking about how we can protect our health by using multi vitamins and minerals and a lot of people do do that but summer unfortunately taking all the wrong stuff and he will be here to explain what that's all about it just a little bit you might want to have something to write with and write on during this conversation this should be good now before you get any of that let's talk about our vision the engine is so important I mean think about what you can do with your vision and think about what you can't do don't try this by the way if you're driving heavy machinery a lot right now close your eyes because your eyes I mean you think about how bad it would be to lose your vision terrible a lot of people do lose their vision but it's looks slowly with the disease we call cataract in fact by age forty about half the people walking around are going to have some degree of cataract formation in one or both of their eyes it's a leading cause of blindness it is but here's the good news thanks to this medical research by this brilliant scientist who discovered almost two decades ago that you can actually stop cataracts cold and in most of the cataracts offers you can reverse cataracts using a revolutionary science based safe and effective over the counter I drop called can C. eye drops by a company by the name of wise choice medicine what is brilliant scientists figured out is that there's a special nutrient protein peptide that's deficient in the eyes of people who have cataracts and when you replace that by putting these eye drops into their eyes the eyes starts singing with joy and they get better and it stops the process that's breaking down in the lens of the rye so the cataract stops and it can bring it back if you catch it in a certain stage can C. eye drops by wise choice medicine stops amazing I use them on a regular basis and then what's interesting in the science will eventually catch up with those people who started using cancer guy drops by wide streets medicine the glaucoma pressures go down they're floaters get better they're dry eyes a rental problems even age related macular degeneration people were reporting they have sharper clearer central vision we don't know why yet but we'll.

R. dot org it's Americans for tax reform dot org if you stop by there those of you the phone lines I'm gonna grab your hot to the to the actual show so we'll go screen Lewis screen so when you come on a mask your name the we'll just go from there you heard about this story were Kerry said some liberal women progressive women left the women here's the weird part Kerry what are they trying to get people who are already on their side the far left Democrats to give them even more money in the middle the only group of women who probably would give the money are the ones that agree with them a go of it yeah it makes no sense but it doesn't make any sense it's just dumb it is a dumb we go to took delight one is gonna be Mike in Minnesota yes Mike we know you are already what's on your mind high going out like your idea let's go the the halftime show I haven't heard anything but I I don't even know what it was weird my gums are you have heard anything but what any any comments about the halftime show from like a Melissa marrano or an Ashley Judd if you had a washer speech after watching that no no they they probably they probably loved it they they love it thanks thanks bye probably probably loved it always just great just feminism made at its best best extent just incredible feminism that feminism your lead the end that is what it is that's what confuses maze feminism at its very best to where nearly nothing in dance rock stripper and I wonder also that one point where they have the kids and a lot of people were referring to as the kids in cages on the border did you get that anywhere they really kids in cages at well that's what people are talking about today I don't they're trying to make some kind of political statement it could've been something completely different but people were comparing that to the the cage at all what what was the cage aspect or was it like those those those are metal sphere looking things all I do see that nine yeah well your make that kind of point you better make more obvious I mean I'm I'm reasonably Smarties Sheila okay yeah man about we're trying to make its local state here over shaking her but but other than that would be right a weird if they were going to go that route but maybe they didn't I don't know I I didn't see the locals say about to get work from reading to everything the local server that was made was JZ and Beyonce say with their rich **** sitting down in the chairs are not getting up I think that that was that was a little set of the night Gee what's going on Las Vegas high I'm not your talk you talk to you I'm not I'm not really big into NFL fan after the whole copper Nick but I thought like five minutes or less than five minutes the show it was the day low situation and there were twelve or thirteen year old boy that was embarrassing the older men they roll over seventy they were just kind of like a while and I'm not whole dance it was disgusting and I think it is all go back down to the owner of the end of the other big you know the big head honcho the commissioner certainly could about made made a better decision when you hire JZ to be the musical you know coordinator maybe you should go and see what the act is going to be before you just let it go on there because we went from you know Janet Jackson and her her malfunction to now were publicly wearing almost nothing it's very strange yeah I know I have an eighteen year old daughter and I just I I wouldn't want anything like that it just is disgusting and I just like them to get back down to like just a regular everyday low concert or something like that have time and I get the grade get rid of effect spelling NFL could not agree with you more Gee I appreciate you thank you apply now it eight nine four one packs I've got maybe a minute for you Kathy make it happen among okay Hey can you hear me come on yes I was with my seventeen year old son is out of a laptop trying to get some homework done on Sunday night and he's like watching it when it came to the part with check here with the rope around and like he thought he can't pick up looking up and he's like one of my watching and then you know a few minutes ago he sees something else with the ball and he's like what's going on here and I'm like well basically you're watching like a Vegas show and it was much I he made a comment about the male dancers in the background the ones that have those like white happy look and I don't even know what it was but then the first section they had on like skirts and so he made the comment about I shouldn't even bring are they all day and then one of my daughters is thirty Tom cell because she's like why are you so homophobic it just got really weird sounds like one of the house another topic I got around I got a weird weird conversations and certainly work coming from at halftime show without a doubt Grover Norquist we come back this is the gel pads yeah W. O. A. R. has your shot at one thousand dollars now text the nationwide key word cash.

"Find out more call of two to three thirty three ninety three two to three thirty three ninety three or online at age eighteen sons dot com A. T. T. and sons dot com okay were finishing what kind what for to call about two things one said that we did think would farms would ever pay and an ethanol so what just quickly to finish on the the wind farms in pain you know that the companies involved the size of those companies I think is is you know if if there's any doubt about whether they will pay or not makes sense I I did like the subsidy I did like the subsidy at all and like subsidy in anything and the the production tax credit for for that is being phased out they added a year back here recently the budget deal which was a surprise to everybody but it is live a little less popular in North Dakota but you know the amount of wind the man there for the utilities again the excel energies of the world even odder tell power and in others they're seeking the wind power so that's the customer so as long as their their their customer they want it hi I don't see any financial issues at all in that arena the only other thing I tell you on on ethanol again I guess I could just call me a hopeless a friend of the former I just anything really see is can it can it can help the farmer all right prices are down I'm Lisa winter hours a ten thousand a tower the you know it's my land that's an option ethanol I you know what a huge amount of corn goes in ethanol and folks to grow it could go do it at a ethanol plant generally in small town North Dakota that's paying sixty seventy eighty thousand dollars a year for a job now if you don't want to put your card to bring your car it's America but you know does that does that help at all okay okay well let me answer this we're all talking about subsidies and were my tax but their money goes where your taxpayer money goes ethanol is never going to pay for itself when forms are never going to pay for themselves but yet we have a federal government that is going to pay these farmers or anybody that wants to grow corn or animals when form here's money let's do it so where is the benefit in the whole entire society and are granted I'm gonna make a lot of guys man because the girl a lot of corn your North Dakota but the thing is it takes a gallon of my diesel oil or crude oil then I produce every day to produce one gallon of ethanol yeah I studies often reviewed over there's just so you know I mean I I've heard that before but I hear people that that is say that's just not true it's wildly is exaggerated and so I I wouldn't take that one of the bank chi but again the the money paid to a farmer for wind power comes from the wind company okay now is there some subsidy there in the production tax credit yes there there it's not the utility would say they're your your rates are lower as a result of it we could we could we could argue these points all along there are no subsidies ethanol there's a mandate which is certainly helped ethanol again the consumer has a has a choice there but ask ask the corn farmer no no no no you're wrong you're wrong you're wrong you're wrong you're wrong these forward the growth these farmers to grow corn for ethanol get a subsidy to grow corn for ethanol no they don't I've never heard of before I've never heard that it is all the corn specifically for F. and only get a subsidy from it's a it's a government by back to because they're growing corn it is not specifically designed for human consumption why don't I I've not heard that one before guide on but I think the bottom line is this you know you can go back and forth any of these things if you're gonna preferences that's like Ford Chevy you know Verizon sprint I mean it just as a that's America you got a choice I say the farmer when this that's my first quite here where is the farmer when in the east I say look you know our all the above energy are the front the folks in call started this one when people try to eliminate calls it look much with me for everything we need all's baseload coal there right so all you know all the above energy true all of the above and property rights are the two things I'm going to build my argument on related to these preview the call and hope you call again on a for sure next guest is Dane Braun date as the VP of product for bushel a company we're hearing more and more about these days great technology company.

"Rose at both small and large freaks fleets the reasons were quite different large carriers reduced to the number of drivers they employed in keeping with the lack luster freight levels smaller carriers added to their driver pulls increasing their number of drivers by about one point nine percent Costello ended that large fleets add drivers during the first two quarters of the year and then they started what they state right sizing their fleets in the third quarter both the turnover rate at the large leach the decision to cut back on the number of drivers appeared to be in conflict with the with the A. T. A.'s still continued cries of divers shortage driver shortage although large carriers often professor driver shortage their own comments and data clarified that the issue is a driver retention problem freight rates took a hit this year over capacity in other words there were too many trucks had to many drivers compared to the amount of rate thus large fleets have announced they're reducing their truck orders and their driver Celts which absolutely refutes their claims of a driver shortage of course ID eighty for the longest of times has refuted claims that there is a driver shortage stating that the large turnover rates indicate that the big fleets are able to find qualified CDL holders every year but they can't keep them.

"So this is pork barreling I don't care that there is no infrastructure building related to it it is still pork barreling it's putting unrelated legislation into a bill in order to entice people who would otherwise vote against the substance which is the national defense authorization act unless you put this sweetener and and we are so far twenty two trillion dollars and running in a national debt we cannot afford to these little Gimmes in order to get me a vote so let's talk for just a moment about the federal deficit for the year this budget that was just passed on a voice vote yeah fine we're all getting out of town this budget contains a one point four trillion with A. T. what we say that one more time a one point four trillion dollar deficit and just for emphasis it is a one point four trillion dollar deficit and while you're digesting that number before we even talk about how to pay for it let's go pay for a little air time with a quick commercial break balance of nature changing the world one life at a time I have to tell you I am not having any stomach issues anymore I am not having any pain in my arthritis in my knees and in my lower back and is also helps with my skin I always had dry again on on my legs always even as a child not drastic but I notice it's just not that dry and scaly anymore but I just feel like having this prison veggies in the fiber in my system it has helped a lot and I think it's even and this just seems crazy but I know my mental health has improved and it seemed like it was a gradual thing is just making sitting and my husband he's still in the notice to the other just used and he notices when he's reaching back in the chair at night when he's lane and watching TV that is back if not he doesn't have that pain is much anymore I hear these women and these men on the radio talk about it and I just feel like yeah I believe them that's me and I believe everything that they say your commercials are not stage they're real people talking about their real problems that you help them last I know that.

"Let's listen to just a bit of it and I know this is just a rough mix so not Polish debt let's barb wires check I suppose art at a time like this helps in dealing with a loss as big as what happened we think that music this part of not only bring us together but this will check on title VII though the fight against erasure because this is part of what's going on it's it's the erasure of our communities and there's nothing like music and spoken word performances in art to we cover that silence you know what would you like people to know about the vessel for months on you know I have a lot of mixed feelings about the attention that we get I think it's very important to promote solidarity to promote an understanding but sometimes sometimes it's almost not to know anything rather than to know things very superficially there's an element of almost exploitation I think some of us are just kind of fifty about this sudden tension that that we've gotten but it's always within the same kind of like there's only one story that can come out and that's the story of violence in the story of A. T. and these cliches you know and so I get really frustrated by I mean I'm appreciative that people have turned their their attention to a part of the world it seems to be in the middle of nowhere it really is in the midst of everything but at the same time I wish the stories that would come up more more about just our humanity our vision you know it's it's really really complicated and I I wish that that complication would come up more and more I think we've taken the step and I do think that finally more border voices are coming out and I think that's an important step is there anything that you're doing this holiday season to remember your friend or well I mean it's like something you really can't forget while I'm talking about other things you know how choked up or something I'm I'm almost surprised by how hard it is to yeah.

T. and T. center another day another missile test for North Korea that second time and we get it imagine somebody's attention yeah and I guess they're kind of doing this because of the war games at south Korea's planets there we still don't know what type of missile got fired yesterday but it was a another missile test right now of course you got the White House del yelling at once again saying there's no indication of any threat to the US or any of our allies so they will just look into it at this point okay but is it any time another country files fires a ballistic missile threat to our country I mean it just it just is I don't think these are going to stop now at least it was Donald Trump going back over there to stop him because it didn't work last time summit for sorry for I don't know wow yeah and of course here we go drop in more a trash into the the E. C. missile trashes which is called missile trash they're not gonna stop and I don't why would they what I do anything to make him stop why would they they have no reason to at this point well have more on that coming up throughout the morning and the shooting at Walmart yesterday this is a big yeah yeah yeah Mississippi this scares me because it the disgruntled employee they got fired it always bothers me when somebody gets fired for many reasons but that's one of the main reasons right there because you never know what's going on in their minds and what's gonna happen especially if there's a previous and yes involving a weapon with yes former employee yes it and it's just scary I mean it really is and thank god they had done the active shooting training recently tour they were there fast yeah in and he still managed to kill two people injured by one fifteen I believe fourteen yeah I only heard that book couple of okay plays were okay yeah but in in that little time you managed to kill two people and wounded others that that right there scary and of course you had the one over the was a Friday or Saturday the Gilroy garlic festival yeah way yeah yeah we're you're going through metal detectors but you gotta check the parameters to that's the other thing that we need to work on I guess I had a venue that big in their line of manpower to there's going to have to be there's going to have to be because I I I don't want to say this is the new trend but looks they found a way around the metal detectors yeah it's it is scary out there and of course you got the democratic debate that happened last night will get on that coming up.
