"AG. And you'll get number one glorious sign up bonus and number two you'll be able to make the draft even more entertaining than it already is when you place over under bets on where these guys will get selected. Obviously I think number one is Cincinnati. Bengals are going to take the LSU quarterback Joe. Borough would be very surprised if they didn't number two with the Washington redskins some rumors about them taking a quarterback. I don't believe it chase young. The defensive end from Ohio state is an absolute stud. That's the redskins will take by the way a bed online. His over under is two and a half so I love the under chase young. Go in number two. So take that money online but on the under on CHASE YOUNG NUMBER THREE DETROIT. Lot of speculation that the Miami Dolphins or the LA chargers will trade up to number three to take a quarterback. I don't think it's going to happen. I think both the dolphins and the chargers are comfortable getting either to atone go via lower from Alabama or Justin Herbert from Oregon. I don't think either one of them ends up trading up so I think the lions and up taking another Ohio State Buckeye. That is Jeffrey. Khuda the corner at number three number four. You've got the G. Men the New York giants. They're either going to go offensive tackle or linebacker. Isiah SIMMONS and Dave Gettleman. Just can't help himself. He loves athletic. Linebackers. Isaiah Simmons can fly. I think he goes number four his bed online over under six and a I really think he hits the under because even if the giants don't take them. I think maybe the dolphins or the chargers do if they don't elect to take a quarterback so I liked the under verizon estimates then you get to the Miami Dolphins number five and they'll debate to tango via Loa or Justin Herbert in this. They're going to go to a you know. I know there's some medical questions but there's some performance questions with Herbert. I think they're going to go to a tongue. Vilo and feel like they got a guy who otherwise would have been the number one pick at number five number six at the La chargers. I think they're happy to take Justin Herbert from Oregon four point. Oh GPA SMART Kid. Big grade arm. He's got five and a half is his over under her bed online. That's a tough one. I guess here I'm going over but I'm not sure that I put a lot of money on the over there because Herbert could go at three four five to keep that in. Mind when you're making your bed over a bed online number seven Carolina Panthers Derrick Brown the D. tackle from Auburn. His over under a bed online is eight and a half so. I'm going under their number eight years on cardinals. Nita right tackle desperately. I think they'll take Alabama right tackle. Jed Rick Wills instead of Tristan worth from Iowa at number eight so go ahead and take wills at number eight years on a car number nine another offensive tackle MCI Becton. This do almost six eight. Three hundred seventy pounds and he can move. He's the number nine to the Jacksonville. Jaguars ten you've got Andrew Thomas in my mind going to the Cleveland browns. They need a left tackle. Desperately started three years at Georgia. Very gifted player. His total in terms of where he'll get picked at bed online is ten and a half so he would be another under there..

Justin Herbert LA chargers Cincinnati Miami Dolphins offensive tackle New York giants redskins Dave Gettleman Ohio Oregon Isaiah Simmons Bengals LSU Cleveland browns Isiah SIMMONS DETROIT Jed Rick Wills Tristan

"Don't feel greasy or sticky. They go on smooth and they last try right guard today. Yeah you know and I'll tell you when we'll stay on on that wrestlemainia. They had two matches there that were very highly produced. They had the undertaker. Aj Styles. They did that in the in. The graveyard It was like a little mini movie. And then you had the the Bray Wyatt John. A very very similar. They're all over the place. Route very produced a very entertaining. Probably the highlights of the entire show Do you think the wrestling may be kind of make that turn and adjust and we're going to get over that because you know the nature wrestling kind of place to that. It's it's like a soap opera rights. It's like a little miniature movie kind of place to that and Cyrus. What a brilliant way to solve a problem right if your problem is don't have audience and it's going to look a little bit different on TV when people are used to don't even do Rena take it out to the graveyard taken out to. I mean right that. What a perfect way to do it produce. It turned that you use but now they can spend an hour on the match if they need to they can edit that can make it more like a movie. We still get what we want. Which is the conflict the resolution to the conflict? Move onto the next one. I thought that was a great way to solve the problem. And I must tell you as an undertaker fan so they might have just added ten years to his career. If you go out and you do it that way where you could do a little bit stand-down do a little bit standup piecing together like that. Vignette style I thought it was. I think everybody one. That's also I go back to the Reno. Why have to do it? In the squared circle. Why have to do it to those constraints. There's another way and when there's no live audience who you're leaving with dead action because it's all a viewer anyway in your pipe it into the truck. It was a brilliant solution. I don't even think it was meant to by the way. I think they just want to do that. Graveyard match then. It just happened that we got in this different time. I think everything maybe unintentionally worked out but I hope they learn something from it. Yeah I think it could be a great thing sticking with rushing for just a little bit longer. We worked together on global force. Wrestling seems like a long time ago. If three or four years ago I guess out Las Vegas and You kind of had your first ray into the business and everybody always said you know. Cheltenham would be perfect for professional wrestling. He knows how to talk. You know how to cut a promo. Were you actually got to do it? You cut a number of Promo G. You got the crowd all riled up your beef with Jeff Jarrett his. Why a thin yet Phil? Baroni off to the side. We're having a lot of fun Global force wrestling. Tell me about that experience and it. Was It really a dream? Come true for you to be able to do that. I remember I remember very similar the way you described it man. That was a great time. Where the Orleans in in Nevada and by the way sidetrack what? What's happened to Jeff Jarrett? Wha- was that all the work that he you know he was over at global force and he left and it was this weird thing where is right now. Because he's not an internist. Jared is Jeff. Jarrett is backstage in a very extremely prominent role with the wwe. Now Oh yes. I didn't know that after he went into the hall of fame I believe they brought him in as an agent and now he's rose up the ranks ranks pretty quickly and I think he's you know maybe one or two two or three spots you know on the Totem Pole. You know away from the top. So he's He's getting up there and he's doing a job. Well he knows the business so well. I mean it does seem like you're better to team up with them than than have him as a rival of fellow promotion but I didn't know that I appreciate the update on that was that was so much fun. Those guy you know bobby rude beat around Nick and you know I it. Just I- namedrop and play that game all day but I mean there was. Such talent was coming through there and then to be behind stage. That would be the part of the Dream. Come true part that was the cool partic- how the sausage was made to be welcomed into that environment being a lifelong fan being there with having the meals share in the conversation. Yeah Man. I wish we're doing it right now. That was fun. That was a lot of fun and I WANNA ask you about Roddy Piper because I don't know if anybody knows this or not. And you know it was supposed to be that Roddy Piper who is supposed to make an appearance with w there in Vegas and he was supposed to in effect we infant. We passed the torch to you as far as doing those interview segments and obviously he passed away just a few weeks before he was supposed to come out to Vegas. And you're up there in Oregon Piper. Who is in Oregon lived in Oregon? Did you know Roddy Piper Beforehand And how disappointed I? I know I was absolutely devastated because I'm so excited to meet with Roddy Piper and just have a conversation with the guy sure what. What was that like when you found out about that in? Did you know rowdy before that? Yes I did so I wouldn't be what you would call close with Rodney. I'm close with his son cult. He and I are teammates and then I was even able to serve in a coaching capacity to Colt. But Roddy would come and he was very supportive. I mean they talked every day. They had dinner together every single night and Mirada and his family were very tight with each other. If you ever saw them out on the town you would see the wife. You'd see the system and they would all be together. They liked each other. They were good family so yeah when he passed sure everybody felt from a personal stan. I felt for Colt wanted to give call to hug. I WanNa make sure that I was there for Colt and we still check in and just just a tough spot overall. I mean it was really studying. How much people at least in this area like the Piper family?.

"Least was proven to have used steroids. Performance the Hanson drugs. So like all of those people. Don't have the BLIMPS free record that six championships by Tom Brady so I'm going to stay on Tom. Brady's side lemon juice three well I mean. They got caught cheating twice the Patriots. The Patriots got caught cheating twice. They called Tom Brady at one time. But I'm saying the Tom Brady. deflategate thing is a blemish. I'll take get back. That's not on Tom Brady. That's on the page. He doesn't benefit from the information pointing the point. I'm making is. You could argue that. He has won so much that he has the right to do and say whatever he wants draws much attention as he wants. I think that all the players have as much right to draw they want. It doesn't bother me if anybody does it. But I'm saying the difference between Tom Brady and many of these other guys. It's Tom Brady has. Since he's the goat you call them to go on his record. Aside you yourself called him the greatest of all I I will say that he wants to stand on a table and mate and say look at me. Look at me I grew. I don't work on the money. That's out there go do it. I don't agree with that entirely but I will say this. I think like we have some overlap. Here you're on. The periphery of something. That I think is true when you have a kind of personality people can smell it on you right where they think you are. Whatever for controversies around your cheating or otherwise they find something about you authentic? You're able to leave in an authentic way and they just gravitate toward you. Molly always loved Tom. Brady for the leadership and everything. It's the yeah the guys like that or given the benefit of the doubt and allowed more leeway than guys who feel fake to the media nevertheless for the less and maybe Lebron had some of that the beginning nevertheless J. Lebron was dragged. A Rod was dragged. The Tom Brady a better football player. Lebron basketball player. No he was he was he was he was the greatest coach on more cetera. And yet those guys is were dragged. And Brady's getting a pass maybe bedside manner this is towards the end of his career he does deal with Hulu. We've all done these kind of deals. You have a post with your commercial actually. Okay well I have so you have to do a post along with your commercial and we're more mad at him about. There's a posted the day of the men because he let us know that he's back to work at his gym. The No. I'm not in Mali. What I'm saying I I wanted to everyone else should be? He's one of the greatest players of all time. He was a champion. He was an MVP multiple times the whole thing. He was one of the really one of the handful of greatest players ever killed them. Lebron Saint Think. Think for annexing where he wanted to play killed them. Your scores aren't killing. Tom Brady Tom. Brady's authentic and they didn't think age of instagram and beyond he was promoting a commercial. Is it our fault that we gravitated to the post. I mean what do you do. Don't this is okay with them. As I said this is wild to me because 'cause we had the same compensation I was here with the three of you about Becca and you all said the same thing on the other side. I said we don't have to Odell. Beckham Stephen Look at me and say we do. We don't have to. I don't understand. Why are you doing that? Because because because he's authentic. OJ Is the most authentic but we still excoriated him Lovie J. Prophets. Sometimes you can say inauthentic no. It's not that he's in authentic. This is not what I'm saying. Though we hasn't shown leadership brady run on the field. elden start paying is wailing grabbed the money himself. What you're what you're doing? He ran kind of coming up with with kind of philosophical underpinning for things I think if you believe philosophically aren't extenuating sir. I was reminded the different subject. I'm just tired of talking about Tom. Brady Damage Union. When the Super Bowl you finally lost all right? So let's say I got to do by. Here's the deal. We're just I mean, luckily as people we were passing and not people who are hiking near a beach. If sitting next to next general, I went to a Korean spa, and this woman was watching a TV show on her cell phone in there. And I was like, are you kidding me? And I Finally I can sit here and just get my, you know, ovaries tangle, or I can walk over there and be like eighty mind putting on headphones and she looked up at me dead. And she goes everybody is talking and unlike if you don't know the fucking difference between two people to friends or mother and daughter talking to each other in a hot tub, or you watching whatever the shit ash it you're watching. Then then then then I'm then go in the sun and never come out. There's a there's a Korean. She should ask shit ash. The name of this episode. It is nothing of this shit ash demand. Like everybody when somebody decides that everybody needs to listen to what they're listening to extremely insulting. Although I was gonna say the Korean spa that I used to go to in the sauna had a TV, and it was always playing like just game shows that I could not follow. Yeah. It was like I was like whatever came before the mast singer like the Korean version of the mast singer where they would like there'd be somebody singing it with sound really great. But they'd be in a full animal costume. And then they would take the head off in the crowd would lose their shit. But it would be a celebrity who I'd never seen before. But it was talking about is fun errands. I appreciate that. I appreciate and they would pelt them with. Thirty. Everybody be grimacing. But it's a I don't know. What's happening be sub sub hill with that is motorcycles that are so loud that you know, they had to make them loud, specifically muffler revving. Yeah. I don't need to hear that. I'm just living my life. I'm on the with my mom pretty good south park up soda 'bout. Exactly that. But it it might make some departures from your viewpoints beyond that. "You know, they would they would have to make their own appointments while happens if we don't need. Yeah. What happens if we decide that? It's actually awesome to not be needed to be free of being needed in a way. Dana do you like being alone? You know, it's so interesting because I love being by myself like I travel alone all the time because I'm just a control freak like I wanna do things the way I do them. I love I went for my second book. I I went to France for a month. And I don't speak a word of French. And I went to a small town where like it wasn't like Paris like people didn't really speak English. And I just sort of got along with like mine, and I loved it France is the home of mine. It was great. And I loved it. I loved like walking around and just like not speaking to another human soul for three weeks. But I the the sensory deprivation thing that you brought up I'm horrible at being lick alone. With my thought to know like external stimulation, like I am I need like I'm addicted to Twitter that constant like fuel in my phone. I like background noise. And I I always turn on the radio, and I drive like I'm terrible at silence and solitude in a way that I think is frankly unhealthy and eventually I'm going to need to address. I also I do I like being in a relationship. Like, I I hope it's not an unhealthy impulse. But I do genuinely preferred just like having a a a personal touch base with. So even though I'm like if I'm traveling alone. Like great, I don't need to be with you physically. But I like mentally being like, oh, that's the person I touch base with who if I died would notify my family, right? You need somebody to run your Twitter drafts by exactly absolutely Karen, same question, have you ever travelled loan? Did you like it? Did you find that? It was for you. Yeah. I've traveled alone. I went to Nepal alone. India Thailand lot of places I've been yeah. I've been to a lot of places alone. I'm a traveling alone is fine. You'll always meet people. I think you're kind of forced to meet people simulating like you're constantly doing thing. Yeah. I mean, traveling alone to me is not like, I don't think of that is being alone. You know, because you're stimulated by a totally new environment. You're in. Novel place. It's like when you go some you're like, oh, look the trees. That's what I'm like. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Look people dress all Swedish kinda. Yeah. Active senior. Yes, exactly. I literally inactive active senior that was thought it was interesting. What you said about Michaela about old like old women because I know that like I'm not, and I've heard a few people say this. I'm not worried about my mom, but I'm worried about my dad when they retire or when they lose their job or their purpose. Do you know what I mean like or like, what are you going to do with your time? How do you spend your time? Whereas I feel like so many of the like mama go Zimba class or whatever, you know, whatever she's like, we'll fill her time with cooking and has a bunch of hobbies and things that she can do. Yeah. I found myself wondering about like I like I do like being alone. But I can feel lonely if I haven't gotten any human contact I need some human contact during during a day. I can almost like outline the time of the exact pinpoint the exact moment. When I was sort of single and on that, you know tear where I would do fine all day long. I go do a live show be with friends laugh laugh laugh audience, you know, ha so much love so much community so much communal like giving and taking and then it was always the same thing, which was that ride home after show there after the bar, and it was always a thing where it was just like, my my heart redraw through my stomach and out my ass out. The light carburetor. I would leave it on the road on my way home, and it wasn't until I turned the key. And luckily, there was a pulse in my house..

"It wasn't my Catholic church group. It was because my Catholic church didn't have a youth group. I was in a friend's youth group and the friends youth group was very. Evangelical Christian, and we spent a lot of time in youth group talking about abortion, and how it was bad and little twelve year old Erin had a vote pro-life button that she put on her backpack. And she you know, I was a kid. I believed the things that I was being told we watched a movie called the silent scream, and I believe that that was the worst thing in the world. And I remember being so upset about baby's getting killed. And then I grew up and became capable of thinking in reading and now here, I am Queen abortion yelling about abortion at parties, and alienating oh my possible friends, but I'm just saying like, you know, we we are seeing an up swell in antiabortion messaging right now, I think because it's sexy. It makes people want to open their it's not sexy. But it makes me want to open their wallets and donate to the GOP. But I think that if we're seeing this movie coming out a lot of those kids that are at the movie right now are going to grow up to know that what they saw was deliberately misleading and actually harmful to women. So that's. My hopeful take on all of this. All right. That's a good. That's a silver lining. Yeah. It's funny. I wanted to put my button, my parents had this like bulletin board of buttons from different political campaigns, and my parents are staunch democrat. So we had Jesse Jackson eighty eight and we had a Geraldine Ferraro related stuff and Bill Clinton gore ninety two and all that stuff. And I wanted to put my vote pro-life button up there, and my mom was like, why don't you keep that in your room? It was. I mean, they never told me that I was wrong. I think they'd just waited for me to like complete the story and realize going. Oh, thanks, mom and dad once again, your wisdom was something. I didn't realize until years later really quick before we have to go. Yeah. Feel like we have to talk about Joe Biden. Now, let's do it. Let's do it. I mean, we've been putting it off a little bit just because up until this past week. It was speculation whether or not he was actually going to run, and it seemed whenever I read something about Joe Biden, it was just bored political columnists who wanted to give themselves something to do because they were tired of writing about Bernie Sanders. But I wanna talk about Joe Biden and Anita hill specifically and just for background. If you're not all familiar Joe Biden announced his presidential run last Thursday. And what immediately came up was the way that he treated Anita hill during Clarence Thomas in nineteen Ninety-one supreme court confirmation hearings. If you wanna make yourself. Angry today. Go ahead and go to YouTube and watched some clips of that it's horrifying to watch. And Anita hill was just the picture of calm, and she didn't even wanna really testify. It was just this media circus, and Joe Biden was a dick, and he was he was a real real dick, and he has kind of stumbled around apologizing for it in nineteen Ninety-two. He said that he couldn't really do anything in two thousand seventeen he got questioned about it again. And he said he was so sorry if she believes that she was mistreated, and so sorry that she had to go through what she went through again, not really taking responsibility again in two thousand seventeen Biden said as much as I tried to intervene. I did not have the power to gavel them out of order and earlier this year, he got asked about it. Again, she faced a committee that didn't fully understand what the hell. This was all about to this day. I regret I couldn't give her the kind of hearing. She deserved. I wish I could have done something. And then in April. Real on the first day of his campaign. He said that he had called Anita hill and said that he regretted for what she endured, and then he was on the view. And then he said, I'm sorry for the way, she got treated and then on the twenty ninth. He said I believed her from the very beginning..

"And it's like there's such a different. There are Democrats in their Republicans. And then there are these fucking crazy Trump people who clearly think nothing of the rest of humanity. But doesn't just that was my takeaway that they want to believe these terrible things. You know, what I mean like, you know, when you watch the Oscars and a comedian makes a terrible joke and people are like, ooh, ooh. That was terrible. Like, I expected some sort of like reaction to his how extreme what he said was and the reaction was the opposite of what I had kind of hoped for. I mean, Donald Trump does kind of seem like a stand up comedian who doesn't have any jokes. He just goes Zach doesn't say shit and people cheer about it. And but there's a political reason that this is alive that he's. Now, bringing into his fucked up idiot stand up routine, which is that there are bills around the country. And specifically in Wisconsin, where there's a GOP bills that purport to save babies that were quote unquote, born alive after abortions, which is not a thing that happens first of all most abortions at take place late in a pregnancy are due to really horrible medical conditions that affect the mother of the baby or both and second of all no, doctor would follow the Hippocratic oath and kill an alive human being who was born that just it. It's not a thing that would happen. So in the state of Wisconsin where the rally took place, Trump, criticized the democratic governor hell, yes, we have a democratic governor. Now, Tony vers saying that he shouldn't have vetoed. A GOP Bill that would have sent doctors to prison for life. If they failed to give medical care to children born alive. So the Bill events is the false narrative that there's a lot of babies that are being born as a result. A failed abortions not true and protections are also already in place that would mandate the doctors provide care to living human beings, which is something that that already exists. But this seems to be something that is red meat for the GOP base going into twenty twenty and people actually believe it one thing I was thinking as we're texting about this. And I was saying to you that I'm really tired of playing in the realm of non reality. And I'm one I'm wondering if this tactic is just designed to get us to get into an argument with this invisible thing that doesn't exist in distract us from talking about real issues. Do you think that's the case? I think that I think it's meant to distract us. I also think that he. I think that he going into twenty sixteen right into the election. What was his one mantra? It's like we want the wall Mexico's paying for the wall is a lockup Hillary Clinton. We're going to log her tail and it's literally the only thing that he talked about four months and so going into twenty twenty I think he needs something where he creates this enemy, right? When he did that it was the Mexicans the people at the south border like immigrants, and now, it's just all all women all women. Right. Because I'm sorry that there is a lot of us. Does he know that think he just thinks he doesn't need all of us? Like he's like he doesn't. He doesn't care. He doesn't care because he just needs something that gets those people in the arena as frothing at the mouth as they. Possibly can. And so I personally think over the next couple of months he's gonna try a couple of these out. You know, he's been sprinkling the abortion rage. You know in and around see how it works for him. Right. And so he's going to have a couple of other things between now and then to see which one really, you know creates. Hatred and aggression, and you know, towards women or other people who might not vote for him and then figure out which one he's going to take a spin. But I feel like this one has some some staying power, and it's so absurd. Like, here's the thing. You wanna talk about situations when a women a woman is giving birth and a person dies in a lot of cases. It is the woman dying America has a shameful maternal mortality rate, especially among women of color, especially among black women, and if Republicans really cared about women or babies than they would be focusing on improving the quality of medical care available to low income women and available to black women, and they clearly don't care..

"Take a look. Do I feel is best for my career? And you know, that's just where stance and my focus is season winning championship with the Boston, Celtics. You know, obviously we had goals coming into the season and primary goes to win championships. So that's where my focus as your mind set shifted guards to resigning with Boston. Like, the chicken asked me July first. This happen to some changing. I mean, I'm gonna just do is best for me. As we're really comes down to. I'm just trying to be human being this to me and my family. So, you know, obviously, no things season haven't gone as plan. You know, and that's part of being on a team where you're still trying to figure things out. But at the end of the day like I said, I spent the last eight years trying to do it. Everybody else wanted to do in terms of making my decisions and trying to validate media through other personnel managers anybody in this business, and I don't want anybody. So. I resident expand at the show producer, Steve he was happy to hear that. But Scotty Kyrie's teammate. And you heard that remember there's already been friction with the guys do publicly apologize to Jalen Brown earlier this season. What would you think if you were one of the other Celtics? I think so mistake as one of them to go. Anyway, they're probably happy. They're a little disappointed in what he say it as a leader. But I think that they're happy to fact that he could be I think. Carrie real. I think they do look up to one, but they they want their they're playing time. They want back. They they want that stays that. They had a year ago and Kaori has came in and kind of taking those minutes away from those guys. But to me, I think they need carry if they wanna have some success, but we all know that things have not been going well in Boston force a minute. But I believe that the Baltin Celtics will be better. I believe that young players are no longer thing about making all star teams. And that they can saw what they have to a team to win. This is an interesting situation. I think they'll do the same thing the break that short sprint. The Allsop is now two thirds of the way into the season more, and you got to see if they don't have you don't have games they're playing well, but they were playing well last year even better than this Scottie points out without him. So now, you have to incorporate that, and I don't think we anticipated enough how difficult that was going to be as proving to be difficult, man. They're going to all here, those tears tonight. You know that the fans at Madison Square Garden are going to be getting an every young Celtics ear wants to come here. Woo. All right. Let's talk about the good old days though. 'cause man they were so good. If you were in Chicago, I can't even I I went through with western. I was in Chicago during these years. This dynasty was like, no other Michael. Whoa. Von and you had a window to on it on it like, frankly, no one else did in the media. So I want you to tell all story for us. What was your perspective that you watch this? Well, you know, that'd be urging Scotty. In two years ago right here on this set. We were talking about the phenomenon of guys taking days off. And it was a relatively new thing being shut down when and I was walking out of the door of the studio guy said, hey, I never looked up. Check this. When you get a chance how often did any of us take a day off? And so I looked it up and people can go to basketball reference dot com, or whatever they want to go to and all of them. And I think this is the psychology in the mindset that you have to start a discussion about with them Scottie played eighty two games three times. Michael played into games almost all of them. Steve Kerr played eighty two to eighty two games in his career four years before years where I've is twelve or thirteen all at the the bull. Stacey king eighty two every year BJ Armstrong eighty to every single season. And again to me, there's something there that that that you had to start with Scotty a bond a ability to interact with each other that carries over. Yeah. I mean..

"Today. Mellow getting is freedom. We'll get to that make Flint tropics, Reggie Jackson. Implicit Griffin play a game of hot potato producer bobber, of course, growing in the little reference there. Go ahead. Not good. Not what you want. A twenty four second three seconds. Three seconds shot clock. Everyone. Three about three day. Miss Taylor's right, wearing an oversized suit last night. Oh, no. I mean is this a tribute to the three draft. Nineteen ninety four mazing that that isn't a fantastic. Right in there when he was at that was on three. And that was the loser. Right. And that LeBron the white on the end of the fashioned trip. I'm way ahead way. Make aviaries for the fourth time this season. There is a loose flying creature Spurs game this time it was bass monitor nobly nowhere to be found. Remote? They've had snake. They've had baths. They had a bird the other like a pigeon or something. You're not down for this. Thanks. I'm telling you the state of Tony zoo has a branch in that arena. We don't know about it yet miss resist. Take a look yawn. It's driving and all four Toronto. Raptors there like we noticed home visit decisions here. What do y'all think? Revealing though I mean. Toronto. I mean, Milwaukee certainly is had Milwaukee name Salen with these winds. Walkie against their record against every top contender in the hell. They're telling us here and Yana. MVP campaign. Alex. Nearly lost. And all the craziness is the fact that best player in the world is back in action after missing a month of the season. Lebron upgraded out to doubtful earlier on Thursday ultimately cleared big game against the rival flippers. Not just rivals in the building. But the standings right now bronze scoring twenty four points, fourteen rebounds nine this in an overtime win. Lakers are indeed just one game high the clippers for that final plans. But as we head toward the all-star break. I don't know if I should mention the Lakers spirits the warriors tomorrow and Oakland on ABC, which is going to be great game. Because you got all the stars on the court, but I would contend you don't wanna just fight for eight of your the Lakers. You wanna fight for higher than that? 'cause you don't want to be playing the warriors. Again, the first round of the playoffs. Lebron return just in nicotine here. You know, this is a great tune-up game. He's getting ready for the all star weekend as well. So I think is a great return. He's really got a focus on who isn't a teammate Abby. And also the Lakers are gonna have to win eighteen to twenty games of people think, oh, it's the halfway point. No, it's not the halfway point. Maybe the ceremonial point also. But when you have to win that many games you guys let last night. I don't wanna save must wear but it was interesting being at that game in both locker was pre game. They both go document sets. So the race jockeying for position in the west is on now that when we come back and so they easily the game the each go on road trips. What's what's in the staple center? The Grammys Oscars. They're all banished enrolling grades. So they needed last night's game. Lebron was sort of. I thought cautiously careful understandably careful at the beginning of that game couple times. He's looked at where he was landing, and you I get it. But he needs he needs to play out of that. 'cause they're going to win eighteen to twenty games that needed to include a game like the clippers last night. Well, he talked Scotty after the game that it was partly mental. He just flat out or knowledge that he said that I each quarter. He felt like he got a little more sure of himself. And better than he had to kind of get his footing. I'm sure as a player you can relate for LeBron is about as it's it's catching up on end. So he has to be very cautious in terms of how he's playing the game. And as Mike say it, you know, he's now playing a little more cautious. Now instead of being the that we've watched for the last sixteen years run down invincible in terms of getting hurt. So he's going to have to be very careful in terms of how he can finish up this season..

"Now, it could happen and he's given it life. It is incredible trade deadline is next Thursday. I wanna talk about the Knicks side of this too. Because they I mean, this is a gamble. Kristaps Porzingis, obviously, he's been injured. He is not completely known quantity. But he's more of a known quantity than maybe we will get Kevin Durant. Kyrie irving. What do you think of their decision to do this? They're very comfortable or have the confidence that they're gonna land. So big free agents summer because I don't give up on poor thing. I think this is got a lot of upside. I don't know how that relationship sort of or if it even came back together, you know, last season, we we know at the end of the season that things in go right between porzingas, and and the Knicks that that relationship have not came full circle. So, you know, we we it's tough to see a talented player like that not get back on the floor. The second time for that franchise. And I think they're going to be very disappointed when he at the four again when it hits the floor, probably with Dutch. You can get one of the things I was told today was that reminded of is that porzingas was around the teen decreasingly. You know, I he was all the games. And then he was a practice around the team working out training in less. So then less so and there were conversations had in which she was like, hey, are you what's happened? Where are you? Do you want to be here? And they clearly got the feeling Scott. You're right. If you trade this guy with his talent and age and the upside, then clearly, you think okay? We we've got something. We know we're going to plug it because you just can't let that talent walk away and that meeting. Yeah. It didn't last very long, but the meeting was sort of I think I think every both sides of us confirmation. I write this is a feeling that they were acting on based on months of observation. I get that sense. I mean, I certainly understand you heard Steve no say wouldn't wanna make this huge investment in a player who doesn't essentially want to be here. I understand that. But if he. It doesn't want to be there at that does speak to a little bit of the failure of the organization. Right. If you cannot develop an list and keep a guy like that that talented engage that is a problem. And if they do really feel confident that they can get Kevin Durant. Even just one of them. Kevin durant? Kyrie Irving, I understand a little bit more of making this play. But those are two guys who have as we just saw with kyri don't necessarily keep their minds in the same place from one month to another month you'll predicting what's going to happen with those guys is like looking at poll numbers August and determining that, you know, what's going to happen November eighth? Don't I mean? Sometimes you get it. Right. Sometimes you don't but clearly going back to it was the most important thing to make that deal to finalize this thing and send him away while and when you're the Knicks and they've been dysfunctional. Here's the other thing though, their new people in charge and charge here. Yes, Steve mills is still there. But Scott Perry comes from a line of success, not the old garden in New York. Failures. And some of the guys in Craig Robinson is there's group now that I'm not accustomed to the Knicks culture of old failure. And so they're not looking at it as quite the same way. And by the way, we won't know say this, we won't know if it's the failure. Now, you cannot make judgments now we have to see this Kristaps come back and very long successful career. Or is he done never quite himself? Debate. We'll find out and of course, on the Knicks side if they land to huge free agents this summer, then it's a success. If they don't they give their money to someone who probably shouldn't be having a max deal. It will not be coming up. We're going to discuss whether LeBron came back Jetson time to stay the Lakers season. Or maybe he was coming back for some other reason he did get a big win over the clippers last night. I though is our instant replay this date in nineteen ninety eight guys featuring Derek Fisher..

"So. I don't know anyone bleep. Oh boy. So should the Celtics. Now, proceeds of Kyrie may not be there next season. Kyrie's contract for members. But holding Boston back from acquiring Anthony Davis right now should Danny age. Push all his chips to the center before next week's trade deadline worker three-team deal that sends kyri elsewhere. And Briggs Davis to Boston before anyone else can grab him. Basically all of the plans that all of these teams are making right now are well again, Bill and the conditions. They take into account when they're placing their bets could very easily completely changed before those bets. Even have the chance to pay off. Maybe we should just start calling the NBA the high rollers room that is certainly what if eels like Scotty things change so quickly every twenty four hours. I mean, given Kyrie's comments just this morning should the Celtics start thinking about whether they want to move him before the deadline. I think the Celtics has a lot of pieces that they can play with and have been to be their most valuable piece in terms of you wanna get an Anthony Davis, obviously, they have to move Qadri if they wanna land him, so. That, you know, last season really gave the Celtics and opportunity to see what they really had and carry got injured, the younger players have evolved and came around. I think he is a piece that they could move. But I don't see the Celtics having any success without Cowdery because I think he's a four forty guy. He's a he's a winner. And he's the guy that has a carry them through the fourth quarter. And I just don't see anyone that can replace him in that position. Somebody may have to replace him out the door everything Scotty said, but the problem now is danger. You don't think he's committed to you Kyra Kerry? Curry he's right. He didn't know the Celtics by anything. But the Celtics don't eat this to business. And so the question becomes, okay. Can you get part of Anthony Davis attraction to Boston is playing with kyri? Now, if you don't know he's going to be there, and let's face it. We are sitting three thousand miles away from the frenzied center of news this morning, you think the frenzy because one of the? Wait until tonight when the Celtics play at Madison reach with us walks on the floor every thinks that Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving everybody in New York are both headed there as free agents soon. So now, if you're any aimed at least first of all the Lakers just got a bunch of leverage back. Okay. Because the Lakers can now say to them to death in New Orleans. I'm sorry. He's really gonna trade him. They're going gonna say there. What what's what's an operation? What's in play? He does the player that you're accommodating to some degree want to be there. So there's so many balls in the air sky with you that Boston's best bit looks like to try to win with Tyree. Yes. But that may be this season. How do we know what's going to be playing after that? By the way. I mean, this is a good peeling back of layers of house are the inner workings of the NBA work at this time of year. So there was definitely some murmuring over the past couple of days of, hey, maybe Kyrie's not staying in the feeling was that. Hey, that's just being put out by Anthony Davis camp. Because as you point out if Boston is not keeping Kyrie Irving, they are not offering to trade away as many of their assets for they need Jason Tatum. They need some of those guys. So the idea behind the scenes would be that. If you feel like, hey, Danny Ainge, he might be telling you now just wait until the summer. I'll give you Jason Tatum. I'll I'll give you a whole boat, but you better wait because if kyri doesn't stay he's gonna come back to you in June and say, forget it. Well, Correa the chance to shut the door all of that. Wider sort of stay in those Anthony Davis pole position, and he opened the door even wider. So now, it's not just a rumor not possibly put out by the camp..

"Commissioner Adam clover just named Wayne Wade and Dirk Nowitzki special roster additions for the two thousand nineteen all star game silver said as an ideal setting to salute his first class, champions and finals in the this is awesome. Rego's? Because you're no complaints though, scoring very like yet. Another example of how the MTA gets it race. The all star game is for the fans is an opportunity to appreciate what makes guys stars. These guys are huge stars. And I heard a little whining this morning. But oh now they're gonna have an extra all-star appearance. And that what goes into hall of fame? Qualifications do already. Definitely a little grumbling groundswell this morning. Please people just enjoy it. I love it. Welcome to the jump. I'm Rachel Nichols. Alongside the great Michael Wilbanks? Dick's time NBA champion, the hall of Famer Scottie Pippen adopter. These guys go way back. And of course, you know, us we have set aside some time for story time the nineties bulls and the assumption is that you're going to be telling stories on him. But I'm pretty sure that you're going to be telling stories. Absolutely so much great show. Also coming up, Anthony Davis, speaking out publicly or the first time on the heels of his trade requests from New Orleans. I man the NBA is not actually short for national gambling association. But gee, it sure feels like maybe it should be lately. Anthony Davis is gambling by asking for a trade right now if it gets into the Lakers as he seems to want jackpot if he doesn't well the pelicans could just wait until the summer to trade him completely shut him down. In the meantime to protect their asset. And he loses half a season of his basketball career likely all MBA spot and ends up playing somewhere. He clearly doesn't wanna play. Oh. And remember the last time AD missed out on all NBA it cost him a twenty four million dollar contract bonus. So all the way around those are some serious takes to be risking. But thanks to the next. Hey, he's not even the biggest gambler at the table. Yes. New York shock the league yesterday by trading away, a player with such a rare and precious skillset. His nickname is literally the unicorn for a package mostly designed to open up the cap space to sign to Maxine. Ellery players this summer afterward. The Knicks push hard on the narrative that they had to do this. The Kristaps Porzingis didn't want to be in New York anymore. According to team president Steve mills KP met with the team yesterday morning and explicitly quote confirmed he no longer wanted to Nick, although considering that New York reportedly already had the framework of a deal in place with Dallas before KP even walked in walk through that door, and according to ESPN's in Begley the meeting lasted less than five minutes. Well, it's probably not a shy KP posted this on his is g story last night saying the truth will come out, look, regardless of the finger-pointing that isn't evidently coming here. The bottom line is the Knicks decided that some of the cards they had in their hand, which included a wildly talented, but seven foot three human coming back from an ACL tear. We'll worth discarding for the chances drawn something even more valuable than the deck life. Perhaps I don't know maybe a car that is currently playing for Boston judge yesterday on the show. "Paul step in my office quickly. Come into the principal's off because Paul mommy joins us every week on golick a window here them six to ten AM eastern poll comes on helps us breakdown college football. And Paul Paul knows in his aware that my father, and I are both. Notre Dame grads port fomer Notre Dame football players university. Still means something to us. And so usually pretty complimentary of the Irish pretty neutral when discussing the situation apparently not so much when discussing Notre Dame's chances and the potential ramifications some moving and shaking down the stretch for the final four. Here's Paul finebaum. I think it'd be Georgia Alabama, and then you have Clemson. And then it comes down to Notre Dame and Michigan and I would go with Michigan over Notre Dame. It's fight or the head to head. First and last Michael junior here on ESPN radio and the ESPN app. Paul obviously, referring to a scenario where of Alabama were to drop a game. Perhaps especially we think Georgia that SEC title game is the last remaining hope for something like that. He would put Michigan over Notre Dame at this point feels like a betrayal. Feels like someone we lead inside the brotherhood over a goal going all the sudden flipping the script as soon as he gets far enough away from us to try and justify it becomes really interesting. And it hurts the most when it comes from somebody inside like this. I'm not mad at you, Paul. I'm just disappointed. I thought we could have had this conversation face to face over on goal can win go over the telephone where I don't actually have to see you deal with this face to face. And it's interesting trend people from the inside criticizing because we heard the other day for Troy Aikman when it came to the Dallas Cowboys saying that this team has been spinning tires needs an overhaul. Yes, Jason's been here. What eight years now and. Wait Phillips was here. And Parcells was here. Barry Switzer was here. And, you know, Chan Gailey go through the list and this team over a long period of time has been what it's been. And it hasn't always matter who the head coach is Ben. And so to me drastic and me I'd say there has to be a complete overhaul of the entire organization. You just can't simply replace head coaches and say now it's going to be better. No, it it's it's been shown that it's not better that sound courtesy of the ticket ninety six point seven FM in Dallas that Troy Aikman Joan Tuesday to talk about that situation. And now in college football, we're hearing about this in a different light. So one of the other things I saw an article on four the winds saying Paul finebaum gave Ohio State the best outside chance of getting into the final four in Ohio State checked in at number ten for the second straight week in the poll, Ohio State who because of their chance to play against. The one loss and their resume is still in the conversation in my mind through the lowest ranked team that's still has any sort of real claim a real chance of getting to that college football playoff. But that hasn't stopped. Former Ohio State standout Eddie, George from speaking out about what he believes is dysfunction in Buckeye land came out the other day said, quote, I wanted Ohio State to come out and perform extremely well. Coming off the bye week in that horrific loss against Purdue. But I thought coming off the bye week and playing the way they did in west Lafayette. I thought they would come out with their hair on fire and something to prove he said this Tuesday ended appearance on Sirius XM. But these guys didn't look well couple of things came to mind was there's something going on there that we the public. Don't know I feel like my personal opinion. There's a level of dysfunction their within the walls of Ohio State. Whether it's the coach the administration the coaching staff. Something's not right. I can't put my finger on. And I don't know exactly what it is. I've always said, it's becomes interesting. What the response is when someone on the inside when someone in the family says something that maybe other people had been thinking, and we in the outside and the media covering everything that had gone on with urban Meyer before the season with Zach Smith. And the debate around what truth urban Meyer told them this situation. The investigation into how the university had dealt with this and coming off of that a lot of people were making the prediction..

"And the ESPN app and all the right answers. All these different things what the actual future does hold for Todd Bowles. I said I think falls in line to what happened with you Jackson is once you get a young quarterback. If you're a coach who's record hasn't bought you time and clout with your station and the trend is in the right direction with the young quarterback. Usually it was we've seen lately they decide to move on from you. That's not something I wished high Bowles is a guy really over the last few years. I've campaigned for and said hasn't gotten a fair shot because of the roster because of the way the jets have done business in a number of instances, which we know it always the best way to go about it. This is an organization with plenty of falls that flaws that transcend Todd Bowles. But now when it comes time to protecting your investment, and that's why most people say maybe you sit him down because we know Sam darnold leads the NFL in interception. He's second to last in the NFL and quarter. Bac rating and how about this for New York. The top five or the bottom five I should say quarterback ratings in the NFL goes something like this from last on up Josh Allen dead last at thirty one point three this quarterback rating quarterback rating QBR in the NFL. Josh Allen dead last Sam darnold second last at thirty three. Josh Rosen third to last at thirty five point eight. Baker Mayfield fifth to last forty point two and checking in so all of your rookie starters from the two thousand eighteen draft class checking in at number four the forth to last quarterback in total QBR, none other than New York's O'neil I manning. So things are going really well right now. So why you've got all those decisions. And I I think at this point for Sam darnold, if he's healthy place. That's the point you're out with this roster. If that guy is going to be frustrated you've gotta have helped him learn from that. And that's why you've had Josh mccown there to go out and show this kid how to be a professional and all these instances. And if Josh mccown is the one playing this weekend. That's what you're going to see a quarterback who I'm sure much like our own Matt Hasselbeck towards the end of his career didn't expect to be playing when Andrew luck came down and ended up playing a lot more than he could. But Josh mccown. That's not what he's here to do at this point that guys here to be a coach in the sideline. And so this becomes another teachable moment. That's what Josh in addition to tandem. Hey. Air swipe side by side. He has also there to help Sam darnold become a better quarterback. And I believe he will. But at this point every experience is valuable to Sam darnold through the end of this because you hope better days are around the corner and finding out. All right. How does he handle and harness? This is going to be important in that development. And I do not think Todd Bowles will be around for that development. That just doesn't seem to be the way that any of this is trending right now. There's too much frustration internally with this team. You're seeing the defense Jamal Adams some of the leaders on that side start to crack a little bit under the weight in the pressure of this constant losing of any any real hope that you at least had during the season when you had a couple of these spiked up performances from Sam darnold accompany now seem to be a thing of the distant past. How different are the problems that you're dealing with across the board in the NFL world. You've got the jets contemplating not only their present. With what to do with their star rookie quarterback but their future with that quarterback? And who may be at the helm with him the patriots on the other side of the spectrum. How the other half lives the only problems they have to deal with this point. Are the issued shorts in their locker room being stolen? This is truly how the rich live over a New England. Several players were wearing team issued orange shorts in the locker room this week. Why according to players who were laughing too many players were taking the old grey shorts home and not leaving them at the facility now for anyone..

"And if they didn't what that sort of awkward side, I in the room looks like if these guys sit there because we know any chance we get to see these guys whether it's at the all star weekend. Whether it's behind the scene things like the Bron James the shop. If you get a chance to cloud on these dudes, they will all take it though, all take the bait, and you keep giving them plenty of ammo like if we get to all star weekend, and we get to this draft, and they are not all universally clowning. Kyrie Irving for being continuing to be an in your feelings all star over what went on with Jamal Murray. The other night. I am going to consider this whole system of fraud and a colossal failure. Kyri Irving is still. Talking by the way, he will not stop talking about Jamal Murray. Obviously I'm watching and I'm watching the play at the end of the game. And I'm just watching to see if he's the ball and an so thirsty player to just go after something like that. You know, clearly, fifty points is a big deal to get it within regulation, take, you know. You know, take it, man. Get your free throws and get your fifty points. You don't wait to the end of the game. Wherever that's not playing. Talked up the shot, and then NAS not they go like this. It doesn't even matter. I saw traditionally which is immature I last year on ESPN radio. If I am any player on any opposing team for the rest of the season. This goes doubly for the all star game the minute. The clock is winding down in the fourth quarter. I'm finding Kyrie Irving and launching threes in his face every game. It should be a part of the ritual of an MBA at this point a lot like handshakes guys deputy other up on man. Good to see you hope. Everything's to tell the family. I said, hi. But before that should come the honorary trying to drain three pointer in Cairo Irving's face. I'd start a fund if on the NBA that's gonna pay out dudes that actually make threes over kyri Irving in the waning seconds of a game win or lose. I don't care. We've got to send a message to this guy. It's gotta stop. This should not be a story. But I come in again this morning, and we're sitting around here me now before the show, and she's telling me, oh, yeah. Kyrie Irving said something again, and I'm blown away. I am praying to whatever God will listen that this is from the same day. He was asked about it before. Because if Kyrie Irving opened his mouth about this day after again on Wednesday, even when asked about this in any sort of meaningful way that he deserves every sort of late game three point bucket in the waning seconds of o'clock that this league can offer him. And I pray. I pray it manifest itself in some sort of all star game escapade..

"Now when it comes to the present the reason that can be different here is drew Brees. It's as simple as drew Brees. And what he affords you as a quarterback. Drew Brees is other worldly, accurate and has been for a long time. Why believe leads the NFL and completion percentage this season? The author of a lot of tight window throws. And that's where does can win for you per NFL next gen stats Dez from two thousand sixteen to seventeen was third in the league and tight window touchdown passes. The way that they define that. He's a guy that I heard the love Dan lebatardshow guys joking about this is just going to be back shoulder throw to death. Drew Brees putting the ball in a situation where does doesn't have to be fast, but just has to be physical? We know among other things he was a great jump ball receiver because of that physicality and the things that he offered you and for a saints team where since week seven Michael Thomas has tin targeted. Thirty five percent of the time. Second only to Andre Hopkins this team needs another option injured. Ted Ginn Cameron Meredith who's been kind of faded out by this offense. You'd really been looking at Michael Thomas, Alvin Kamara and Ben Watson, Ben Watson who I think. At. This point is sixty years old announce the presence of his fifth kid and one of the better touchdown. Celebrations that we didn't celebrate enough during the course of the season someone else who loves this move for the New Orleans Saints, Stephen a Smith host the Stephen a Smith show. It's a great situation for him. A matter of fact, I'll go stand. It's a perfect situation for him. You got to understand that the New Orleans Saints. This success hasn't been predicated on throwing the deep ball outside the numbers. They throw in between numbers. They pick you apart short term. And even though Michael Thomas can make things happen. Alva-? Kamara can make things happen. Mock England could make things happen, etc. The fact that a mad is drew Brees doesn't throw it a long ball continuously. They beat you by chopping away at you or plays. It a mate after the catch. This is tailor made for Dez Bryant because you don't have to be a quarterback that that, you know, rather your desk grinding you're relying on him to get open a note Dez Bryant D drew Brees doesn't need that. Drew Brees will get you to ball. Whether you're open a not he's that precise. He's that. Great. And so if you're Dez Bryant, and you can't be in the situation that is ideal for you as the Cowboys. Once more with Tony Romo. This is a better situation. I would make the argument this is the greatest situation that Dez Bryant has ever been in Korea person.
