"I wanted to talk about them tack today. So what is them tack. Well fem tech really compromises. All of the new either apps online consulting or membership sites or products that. We're seeing in the women's health field and i'm really specifically talking about midlife women's health but they're certainly our apps and products for women in earlier reproductive years. Whether it's even something simple like tracking your period so you can get pregnant better or you know periods in general if if for something like polycystic ovarian syndrome which is also known as o. s. but i've seen a boom in apps an online consulting and products for women in midlife health. We're talking peri. Menopause and pause and i wanna let you know my thoughts about those. I sat down as i usually do before. I record a podcast and just take some little notes on one piece of paper and the pros list is kinda short and the cons list is kind of long so without further ado. Let's get right into the things that i think are good about fem tack okay. We'll obviously this means that people are recognizing that there is a void that there is a need for products for women's health in midlife whether that is sexual health or irregular periods in peri menopause and those strange symptoms at creep up in perryman oposite into menopause or the symptoms that you're experiencing post menopausal people are noticing. A ha. there is a need here. There is a void that we have not built and people need these products. People need this help. People need the support and let's build this infrastructure to do so

'The Underground Railroad’: Oscar Winner Barry Jenkins Returns With Limited Series

"Miniseries adaptation of the Colson Whitehead novel, The Underground Railroad premieres on Amazon Prime Both the book and the Serie Center around Cora and enslaved woman who escapes from a plantation in Georgia and travels through a literal underground train system in search of freedom. And while the series does depict the traumatic reality of slavery, early reviews have lauded it for not sensationalizing the violence shown on screen as well as for emphasizing the humanity of the enslaved characters. Much of the project success can be credited to Barry Jenkins Theosophy are winning filmmaker behind Moonlight and If Beale Street could talk here he is on the take away back in 2018 talking about his plans for the underground railroad. Most clearly I can say about it is, you know the hero's journey, and I remember as a kid, you know, hearing about the underground railroad for the first time and really literally imagining to two trains. Running underground. And so I think that reading Coulson's book kind of reactivated the childhood kind of off, you know, around just like the power the ingenuity, you know of black folks to create this path to freedom, and I thought the best way to tell that was to go on the four hero's journey. So I was really happy to partner with Amazon and find a place where we could tell the story on the course of 89 10 hours.

North Carolina Tar Heels basketball coach Roy Williams retires

"North Carolina coach Roy Williams announced his retirement after 18 seasons coaching the Tar Heels. I feel very fortunate that we've had him for so long, it's such a high level. One of the great coaches in the game of basketball more reaction to the retirement of UNC legend Roy Williams with over 900 wins and three national championships to his name. When asked about why he chose to retire now, Williams said, quote every time somebody asked me how long I was going to go. I'd always say as long as my health allows me to do it, But deep down inside, I knew the only thing that would speed that up. Was if I did not feel that I was any longer the right man for the job. I no longer feel that I'm the right man for the job. Williams went unbeaten in March Madness first round matchups. 29 You know until this year, the first round loss to Wisconsin breaking the streak. Sixers Garden national champion with UNC Danny Greene talked on Keyshawn J. Will and Zubin about his former coach, and what made him so legendary. He's been doing a strong as I've been alive and he's been a legend since then, since before probably I was born and he's a legendary stuff before me and during my time there and after He's one. You know a number of championships, and that's not even that doesn't speak on his success to me what he's done off the court and what he's pledged that school in other schools, eyes helped out in the community there, North Carolina and you know not just there, but many places in the world. So to me, that just speaks legendary. You know, outside the court just many ways you could be, um You know, a legend is many ways. You can be a hero. As many ways you could be a champion and world wins is the definition of all those. Those things even said the in before I was born. ESPN College basketball analyst Jay Billa spoke on Spain and Fitz about who could be a successor to Williams at UNC. I think it'll have to be somebody within the Carolina family. So the first thing you think of his Hubert Davis, who played there for Dean Smith, that has been a system under Roy Williams, the last 89 years. Some like that, and Um, you know, the only the only thing that people would bring up with Hubert is he has not yet been a head coach, but he's played a million years. The MBA there, you know, Roy Williams had never been a head coach when he took over Kansas, so I'm not all hung up on this head Coach thing. I think it's great. I'd rather I'd rather have Ah, someone with head coaching experience that not, But when you got somebody's got his Hubert, I wouldn't hesitate to make that higher. But also that the other one that I think Will be right in the mix of those West Miller, the head coach of UNC Greensboro, He played for Roy Williams on the 05 National championship team as backup guard and he's been an outstanding music, really young head coach. UNC Greensboro, and he's done really well there, but for the last couple of tournaments that were held, and he had a really good team this year with Isaiah Miller is his best player, making the double A. So he's He's another really good option

"White middle-class people is definitely issue because again like daunting too off track. But when i think about the movies that have succeeded. I think about old guard which was outside that realm yeah and atomic which is a very random another one. That's of like where did this come from the. Yeah they really exist outside of that mainstream. And i think that that is definitely The strength of this movie. And i hope that we get like that. I mean if intially chile would still like to make salt to. I'd be happy to. I think she's still yeah like litter like please put put her in coach. She's i believe well. "Obviously she's amazing like she's so great but they do a really good job of making you believe that she cares about this person like you learned over the course of the movie through like three flashbacks. Max you know you learned that. Oh she was supposed to like on his seduce him get on his good books or whatever you want to call it. But then she falls in love with him and then he rescues her from north korea. And like it's a really yeah. Sweet storyline And i yeah. I just found. That really streamlined. Nice senate dwell on that too much. You tell and yeah. I think it really works because there was lot of grief in in him dying and stuff but it also kind of kicked back into my wife. She's a russian sleeper agents. Says she can heal too much emotion. And and that's how these movies are. I think the born identities that other like that like his girlfriend dies in in. I think the end of the first one and still two other movies where he's like doing other stuff like it's not always about the relationships and yeah i think it very much speaks and it's also like outside wild very bourne identity. Very james bond esque in economy not the crate area era era. I would say before the pierce brosnan late. Stop like it kinda fit right in there. That i thought was all done. Well because like a total sidebar. But isn't there appears bras. And whenever he starts in north korean prison i another day i know that because of the madonna song because he lee because i remember him fronting and then the the madonna songs are would die another day which is a great sign. "I will vote for her but really just focusing on the fact that this is a spy movie and were listen word is here to watch angelina. Jolie fight for two bucks jump bridges and it's a real existing to maybe as well you can just tell the minute you get into tara. Gatien room scene and move on from that. It is nonstop. There is no positive at that point yet. Which i love. I mean again like the setup at the beginning of this movie is really great too because I definitely want to get into some of the male characters. Because i love her relationships with some of them but yeah it really sets her up instantly like it's like you have you have obviously the cold open where she's being beaten up north korea which is whole but then it's like you meet her husband you understand why she's like that she loves this person you meet her co worker you understand that they care about each other and then it straight into the scene like kicks everything off. It's like really tight. And what i find so interesting about. This movie is that this movie was meant to be for tom cruise right and he turned down because he thought it was too similar to his mission. Impossible character which makes complete life. But what i love is that they clearly didn't change anything about it. You know like they really just like swapped her out. And i mean i know there was more changes behind the scenes from what i've read but it is great to see for some reason that reminds me of a tom cruise type of movie or it's like very fast. You learned a couple of things about the sky. You're onboard with him and then you go out the door into the plot will it. Yeah it's wild. Because it. I understand why could turn it down in that sense because absolutely feels like a mission impossible movie. There's say this very little difference between this besides a sleeper agent Plotline there's literally a scene where she's like dress up as a man and has a perspective and she likes rips off her face. A law conquers mission. Impossible it's it's like they just stole the ever fossil up but i. I can definitely see that happening though that they made very few ultra. Obviously but You you can definitely tell if a man was in this movie that this would retain for the most part this movie. And i think that's what's really important is that.

"On par with so many shots as people getting run over by cars with forever john wig. There should be like a ruby rose on sarah. I'm kelly kauffman and together with you dear listener before the bad from the next film. Hello bad feminists welcome to another meeting of the bad feminist film club Today's kind of special episode. Because we are starting a series of and this is going to be a series in the sense that you know when there's maybe not some of the things coming out that are new. This is what we're going to be falling back on For the foreseeable future. And we're gonna be talking about female action heroes specifically and we're gonna trying to work in some that you know maybe people haven't heard of as much before and discuss You know why we love some of these characters. We've already covered a lot of previous episodes a but this week we are actually going to talk about one that i've always loved since it came out and that i'm really confused as to why there isn't a sequel which i'm sure many people are We're gonna be talking about salts. But i think before we dive in we do want to do our organization of the month and i'm actually going to turn it over to kelly talking about her organization. Yeah so for this organization. I wanted to really focus especially in the news lately. We've been seeing people kind of uh not like the not want to protect border protection and the new georgia project is doing that in the state of georgia. It's founded by stacey. Abrams and it's a great organization to protect The voters rights in georgia. You know we saw in this last election dot. That made a huge difference and we want to continue that for future generations of georgians. And if this matters to you. I definitely recommend checking out the new georgia project at new georgia project dot org and consider donating because our voters rights is important and in any state. Even if you're not from georgia. Neither of us are georgia. But i think it's really important especially in states that are really fighting the voter suppression efforts in the state. Yeah all right sue. Like i always have to say spoiler alert even though the like ten years ago Yet this this feels like really strange and like just you just. I can't say that. I've actually i would say atomic blonde kind of comes to mind for me for this movie but there are not a lot of other ones. That are very similar to this. Yeah well what's interesting is that you know i think we saw in the ninety s maybe early two thousands. We saw a rise of female action heroes. And if we're hockey about this in a series you know we've seen the whole alien series. We've seen the terminator series of kind of launching this idea of a very Very heavy action film with a woman at the center and that does not take away from herself as a woman but also kind of centers her as a kind of strong character in different ways. And i don't mean just physically and emotionally as well and would kind of think is interesting because this is like twenty ten so this is kind of a weird time. Think in kind of mainstream action movies. I think we're seeing at the same time like you're to before we're seeing kind of the rise of the nolan batman trilogy. Retrieve talked about ad nauseam. We've seen the rise. A marvel studios really happening as well. And these are very like to our own heaven heavy male leads and this is kind of balancing..

"<Silence> So rich <Speech_Female> and it's <Speech_Female> easy to get caught <Speech_Female> up in it because there are so <Speech_Female> many external forces <Speech_Female> at work that <Speech_Female> it feels <SpeakerChange> like <Silence> I can't make a decision. <Speech_Female> Yes, <Silence> <Advertisement> <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Female> you can. <Speech_Female> You can, <Speech_Female> it's hard. <Speech_Female> It requires significant <Speech_Female> emotional <Speech_Female> labor, <Speech_Female> but decisions <Speech_Female> really need <Speech_Female> to be made <Speech_Female> for at least a lot <Speech_Female> of people in my <Speech_Female> life where I'm seeing on a daily <Speech_Female> basis <SpeakerChange> these days. <Speech_Female> <Advertisement> <Speech_Female> And I. Think a lot of them <Speech_Music_Female> are <Speech_Female> indeed <Speech_Female> plucking up <Speech_Female> the courage <Speech_Female> and doing something <Speech_Female> about it, which <Speech_Female> makes me <SpeakerChange> very <Speech_Male> optimistic <Speech_Music_Male> I love that, <Speech_Male> because the the <Speech_Male> one of the final questions <Speech_Male> I would leave us with <Speech_Male> in in considering <Speech_Male> decisions is <Speech_Male> a question. I <Speech_Male> love to ask <Speech_Male> myself and others <Speech_Male> which is <Speech_Male> what's the opportunity cost <Speech_Male> of not deciding? <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> Like to your point, if <Speech_Male> not making a decision is <Speech_Male> a decision, what <Speech_Male> is the cost of not <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> deciding? What is the <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> opportunity cost of <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> not acting <Silence> <Advertisement> and making a decision? <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> And often <Speech_Male> it's a scenario <Speech_Male> that <SpeakerChange> we'd much rather <Speech_Female> avoid. <Speech_Female> While speaking of <Speech_Female> questions I. <Speech_Female> I said to you the other day. <Speech_Female> Oh my <Speech_Female> Gosh I. "You know shit <hes>. Let's see what we've got but we quickly found out that <hes> zeus is an actor and that's what he did and trying to physical and interesting ring and do that that was not something that he was gonna learn in the next six months that <hes> that robe but <hes> macho man wearing is actually owned by private collector who listens to the show yes it is and i've actually seen pictures of that. That's one of the most coveted coveted robes out there of the much man on ya just getting any more exciting than this yeah does by the way even as a kid. I was like oh look there. I am as a unit. I got really bursts. I was like damn series. Hair's really long set really long hair of course put together. <hes> it's fake. It's coming off. Mr william wants to know if source lamb was the wrestlemainia of the summer. Why didn't they get numbered like wrestlemainia. I like that actually breath above in cool well. I think that just vince like the numbers for wrestlemainia but he didn't like it for survivor. Series aries our summer slam or even the rumble. He just felt that they would be their own entity in you know summer slam eighty eight. It is what it was. I mean and that's that's how he labeled those so it. It just became now. She's just you know summer slam. I'm and in rumble and survivor series the crowd did look at all the phone fingers look at all. The yellow ran on top of some seaman man during this time and again. He's come back this son of a bitch who is just so red hot. Charlie wolf has a great question for you when it comes crashing down. Does it truly hurt inside absolutely john hayes wants to know after seeing seuss's limited abilities. What were the expectations for him going into this match especially knowing how hogan doesn't like to overly scrip matches yes the expectations were very little but we knew that we had sherri and savage out there to to make everything work al- zoo said to do was slap himself and do the zoo great question here from sean wolford. Y brutus the fucking barber beefcake because brutus was walking over drew wants to know it seems like savage had had to cure his saad. If jerry jarrett was giving advice on how to be helpful what might that online well e now for for. Are you know you get to the when we you know to to stay up and then well we know you take any you know you turn turned around and then well you know and you take your we'd oh you're you're. Is you make we even though chris wallace just to say. I'm not gonna argue. That was a great worker however he did have the best match that this event a great match with rude russell any five and he had the best matches at both wrestlemania six and seven therefore shouldn't get some credit and praise for his abilities. I give a lot of credit and praise for his abilities as far as being extremely family charismatic and being over like a motherfucker and being able to sustain that and yes. I thought that if you give him someone great to work with with like recruit randy savage by all means he'll hold his own block o says is there a good story about zeus doing or saying something out of turn in the locker room that maybe hawk reindeer randy or whoever had to step in and sort of explain etiquette amongst the boys this was kept separate from the boys for the most part and even when we went on the road <hes> together and i talked about this and the holes barred they were brother love would have brother love shows with his guest zeus so that was that was a long standing deal that we did for the entire promotion of the movie.

'cause we're going with zeus and hogan wanna wanna wrestlemainia nia mines stories. You can tell i think that the the the the best was when we were shooting the original million dollar man vignettes and you go back and look at him and he was wearing gold than silver spandex completely form-fitting tight <hes> sleeveless outfits of you know like spandex pants spandex shirt and everything and we made the comment that he looked like the f. t. florist if you remember back in that day that's kind of what the t._d. Look at the crowd date for real fucking went bananas. They exploded. You know what. I don't know how you could say. That's not so yeah. I mean seriously go back and read that yeah. He's just throwing out names. Hey let's look at sean mooney doing man on crowd here. I used to love this. I wish she got said this well. He can't hear himself saying look at the i f b in his ear to it's it's basically like a god damn half a headset in his in his ear. What hearing aids used to look like hearing aids even before that yes high appraise well hop raise but him being the the fan man is discussed in the torch. Sean mooney was the the crowd romer again and actually did a fair job that position as the fan man sort of working. Here's me gene looking as only he can look in. That spiff talks on the giant i._f._p. And there is mr perfect who is absolutely perfect the way that that saad behind them summer slam right there that popped up in the last year so on the collector market so my actually say has by now and where would they have gotten that from. I have no idea i think it was when you guys had like a developmental territory somewhere and they sent like a bunch of old signs down because wrestlemania thirteen <hes> like backdrop piece for interviews was there and and that one i think there was a royal rumble in from like nineteen ninety or ninety one something like that but old old stuff then a bunch of all mitro ring skirts and canvases emphasis interesting in jeans got that giant i._f._p. Not very well dressed hanging off of zere there as well roddy piper out here doing his best roddy piper. This is by the way we should remind everybody he left. 'same three going hollywood. I kinda thought that'd be it but but he's back yes he is. I'm looking just fine there gene <unk> because i just went out and i just jaw everybody the scotsman that i am and the hug gonna flip flop this glass year. Drink some water. If only bruce would've put some tequila there for me. I like an a whole lot more god. Don't let me drop this on bitch matter of fact. I'm not gonna blow to our can't fucking get red shift gioja same roddy. Piper's interviews were nonsensical but people loved them. You put your finger on. Why is it just the energy well. It is the energy no roddy told the story he always the story didn't necessarily always make sense but they'll tell you a sore. It was kind of like follow the guild you'll follow. The yellow dick told you know what i'm saying right. Okay well. Let me explain to you one of once upon a time little bunny johny foofoo hopping down the forest and then goldilocks came in he just he mixes all of it up and ship but somehow some way it it makes sense to him. These interviews were saying here. These would have been pre taped earlier in the day. I would hope so. Actually we may have done these live just to have <hes> just by their make sure that finishes were were done so we'll just line them up and do live live these being shown on the big screen inside on the arena. "They can't break so it was always trying to figure out that that way is to okay nice. Slow methodical en route knew how to work with warrior road route knew exactly what to do wendy wendy do it why to do it. I think there was a trust factor there that not in the beginning but eventually where warrior oh you're real lives all right. I need this guy to make me look good and it's he did by god. I love recruit. It's it's one of those things where i didn't appreciate how much of a route fan i was until i was older older and this is a really good match. I mean wade would say the ultimate warrior rick rude mass will spectacular and better than even the highest expectation gave it a b plus. Does he know that a comes before b. Yes okay by by the way <hes> former friend of the show. Matt kuhn pointed out to me a few weeks ago that the deep purple song how a star from nineteen eighteen seventy two was probably the inspiration for the ultimate warrior's theme song. Do you remember the song no of her warrior song. I'm going to your take here. See if you think that it <hes> it sounds similar. <hes> i can see you could see that is is being yeah that probably is the inspiration for it probably saw back in the day that he used that as instances you could have gotten away with that fill in the watching the which going back and watching this damn suplex on the outside there's way to do suplex other and grabbing the guys tights and just pulling up his ass pulling him over yeah he can help you give him a heads heads up. Take your time big boy get set but i dare say this was during during the time that hogan had been gone in savage's is on the up and and you had had warrior coming up and by god you know they they loved him. I mean it was warrior could do no wrong here in the audience just just they didn't want these long matches with him. You know what's weird. I don't really know that this click until just now you're saying all that about or hogan is or macho is and and he said something like warriors next and i think even as a fan i knew here nineteen eighty nine on hey warriors are going to be the next guy. I don't even know i mean the phrase top got. It exists in my vocabulary but i just knew you know. I just knew this is going to be one of the big stores. He's going to be that he's going to get the bill and i feel like that may be lost a little bit now when i watch w._w._e. Television now now. I know we're not gonna talk about stuff but i'm just saying back in this era. You could definitely tell okay. Here's where we were. Here's where we are now but just looking at it. You can tell the way their programming. This is going to be the next guy. Do you think that's just gotten too predictable formulaic doc boring and so now you have to you got to have so many moving parts just to sort of keep. The attention span wrestling fans today well. I think that that entertainment in general has changed quite a bit especially television and how people view it that you have so much more to choose from that you've got to create create a multitude of stars and you've got to create everything in this was also a more innocent time where you had superstars new ad ed wrestling challenge syndicated television programming that that's how you got it and you were able to make stars on that with squash matches teaches every single week so the larger than life man when you you put them in the ring against someone they're equal. Let's say like a recruitment warrior here that the audience felt that they knew they knew that this is. This is the top programme program. Stop guy inches. Warrior manages had that fucking energy in that jesus as christ but again. I go back to what i said..

I love this builds here. Of course we're seeing clip here from royal rumble nice any nine at the summit in houston and he's got this <hes> flex bar where they were doing like oppose often often ask choking out the ultimate warrior with it but first bobby heenan sprayed. What was it suntan. Lotions sounds oil that that <hes> rude rude was using the oil up between poses and here of course is what happened wrestlemania five bobby heenan trips and holds the leg he can't kick out also as a result ravishing rick rude wins the intercontinental championship that warrior be honky tonk man for at last year's summer slam but you've always had fallen telling the story about that royal rumble skit from nine to ninety nine or they're doing the pos off and bobby spraying ryan warrior and warrior doesn't even realize he's being sprayed doesn't get his eyes closed and his mouth open doesn't even realize that that's spot fought where he's getting blinded but every once in a while like this week we did you know as part of a prime time wrestling in angle was it okay this happened on prime time <hes> with rude attacking warrior and again as much as you know i liked liked to pick all warriors fars his is working ability or lack thereof <hes> ee could not deny the son of a bitch had charisma charisma personality that was over like rover <hes> and the audience loved him so his show billions of grace workers in the world. It really doesn't matter long as you got that charisma and by god. The people are eating it up. It's good shit and now we're starting starting the <hes> kind of cross program from rude who got warrior ready to andre why don't right you. I've told the uncle elmer andrei story avenue. I i don't know well uncle elmar yeah got got lost their little bit this vermoti how these women were picked from the crown again which is chosen at random a lot actually back in this day and time they were chosen chosen at random times by by people.

You think if there's any hope for mardi. Jannati feels like he's going through a tough time right now. What do you mean hope as far as well. It feels like you know if you follow social chlamydia definitely struggling substance stuff and i know he sort of a lot of stops and starts there. You think he can pull the nose up on that. I sure hope so. I do too and i think that marty marty's a survivor and i think that marty you know will come around and obviously basically there. There's help form out there if he wants it <hes> but mardi strong guy and i think that he's also stubborn son of a bitch so i know deep down in a mardi wants help and i think if he will just get it. It's however this was his first time working with jesse ventura who was as good as always a shivani ventura team has potential to be the best but it will take some experience together. I yeah they needed repetition. They just needed some reps man and get out there which they didn't have going into. This and i don't think there was that comfort with tony that jesse had with vince was this was this vince is we know that that talk is going to call the royal rumble nineteen ninety but that may or may not be because benz was partying on the boat too long and really wasn't up to it that day so tony. What do you mean what are you talking about. Tony shirvani says that that he was not supposed to call royal rumble nineteen ninety and then said did you bring your tuxedo. He said yes and he said you're calling the show. I can't do it okay and the rumor and innuendo is that <hes> he had been enjoying the sign and the beach and the sand and the boat. No chills just what he's info with all my polka daddy dance. We're gonna have some fun. We're going to fucking like a muggy means and i'm will give him a ask. Women american dream stat but i'm gonna take that that not stick hiroshima komo chevron with a sham in then. Everybody's going to be a saying dream baby dream what you go do almost a polka dance on that alone baby -ill what it is baby bear. Why is dusty so good good. I've been doing american dream. Dorothy rose vacuum remember lily little little literally literally when i was this no shit man i bet you i was seventy eight years old and i was doing dusty rhodes interviews when he would come to houston and i would imitate him then and it just i guess get better as time time went on and being around him the the nuances if you will baby out of the honky tonk man and this was a fun promotion with with hockey the and <hes> and dusty when they did the sing off which is absolutely classic in hockey hockey shit and then dusty. I was gonna do <hes> johnny be good and we shot it in studio and as i'm sitting there listening to us that hey vance said what if an senator johnny johnny be good we changed lyrics to dusty be good and i started fucking with the lyrics and said hey dream. I said you think you can <hes> and by the way dusty thought he was great for the baby. Just feel millions. I said well what if we changed. The lyrics from johnny be good the dusty be good. Gotta bid and it's the one and only time that i think hockey talk man actually actually sounded good singing versus dusty so bad he just the common man. I think a few years ago <hes> he tried to sell this jumpsuit for like twenty. Five grand on ebay was it the balloon hit read one for sale okay and it's funny because people started like tagging me in like dude i i collect cool stuff. I'm not arguing that but twenty five gs the fucking hockey talk trump suit that blue one. I think cost him ten jeez well. He overpaid was a nice when i was a heavy everyone to work in that one the love dusty rhodes. I know that a lot of people including my old the school wrestling france who are big fans of mid atlantic championship wrestling and jim crockett promotions they fucking hate dusty in polka dots but this is the first dusty gosawx like i started watching wrestling eighty eight and i was all about and so by eighty nine. I was knee deep in w._w._f. And i started to come come around w._c._w. But by that point that's going so this version of dusty as the first version of sauce so i was always a big fan of it it was great dusty in polka dots absolutely great and it was it was most fun and without.

"The four horsemen would have been in the w._w._f. And their manager by the way. I guess it's worth mentioning j._j. Dylan is there to in a front office capacity but imagine if if that version of the four horsemen had bobby heenan as a manager holy cow what yeah that would have been a hell of a stable but <hes> you know get at the time i think rick always issues to use the negotiations and those scare tactics to solidify and get better deals wherever the hell he was <hes> which why richt income in in i think that just that was the norm that time hey rick wants to come in rick wants to come in you talk to them for a little while he'd say yes until he got a better deal where he was he would just say i think <hes> you guys debuted windham in june and he's undefeated for like four months and i think you guys are even planning on him. Being on randy savage survivor series team or that's certainly the rumor innuendo uh-huh but he winds up being replaced by earthquake when wyndham leaves in october over the counterfeiting scandal which i'm sure we'll talk about when we cover survivor series eighty nine yeah we'll bury wasn't involved involved in that scandal that the time see association with his family wouldn't you wouldn't have your family's going to prison. You probably won't take a little time off what are had half my family. Go to imprison me. Neither i'm just freestyle and that's not an unreasonable request. Asthma gone when their wife's having a baby or you know my dad's going to prison whatever my dad and brother going prisoner shame to look in the ring and relish no longer underway bobby's no longer with us anvils no longer with us..

"They we're looking to go back to jim crockett promotions and they were looking to get back with their friends and everybody that they knew that they were comfortable with so it was the perfect storm to allow them to go back and vince knew they were unhappy and just felt that we had done all that we could do with toluene arn and and maybe it was best for them to leave and go were they were comfortable. Unfortunately didn't work out that well for tully but totally was gathered. You you know came from san antonio texas where he was big star because was his dad's promotion and probably had more heat in the locker karuma than the hottest. He'll territory had with the crowd but tully was one of those guys that is much as you hated him. In real life life the bell rings that son of a bitch could go and he could get heat. He knew how to work and he knew how to go out. Tell a story but the the man <hes> telly blanche especially early on in his career during this time telly was a smart ass and tully very arrogant and just knew how to you know he knew how to piss people off in and out of the ring this matched by the way in the torch. It's a b-grade wade would say this was steadily paste opener. That will satisfy however. Maybe a bit too long. We're going to go fourteen minutes. I liked it. I again shit. I'm watching now is absolutely fantastic and i think that the the pace is a good one because they're telling the wrestling story and they're having a wrestling match where all my god someone's actually grabbing a hold hold in working all so it becomes to the point of what kind of fan are you on. Watch the wrestling matches. Do you want the gaga and i think most people would say. I want both nice little team. Yeah the crowds into it man they are because you've got bobby heenan out there solidified as a heel and able to get the response aunts even if there isn't one there but this was during the time to try to establish brett neidhart as baby faces and they were on the baby fae faye side so it was people were still trying to figure out what the hell is going on with them but it <hes> again beautiful story with the blind tag totally tagging armenian brett comes in and bam now. We're ready to set the heat with our own. Anderson beat the shit out of bread. It's interesting dynamic between these two tag. Teams isn't that you know while while not heart was a good performer. I think everybody knows that. The star of the team was bret hart. He certainly the standout and and the the big performer of the two. I don't know that that's necessarily a dynamic that exists with the brain busters. I feel like arnold teller sorta equal footing yeah they were equal footing and they were interchangeable the star of the team really this incarnation bobby heenan right but as far as workers and who's going to stand out in the ring i think that they recall in that regard and fairly interchangeable both both of both totally in our were great bobby heenan just added a sense surrealism and believability whatever the hell he was doing whether it was on the outside of the ring are behind the microphone where he he was in the moment in in made you made you believe it's sort of finding a look back and say hey what if because in june of eighty nine barry windham pops up here and then as the widowmaker and widowmaker the bull of the woods. Maybe it's just fascinating to me that you know you've talked about this. Before the summer slam eighty-eight it was discussed and your brother love's segment was supposed to feature feature the debut of ric flair and had flare come in at summertime a._d._a. At this point technically you could've had aren't totally barry barry windham and ric flair..

"I'm ready to count countdown. Whenever you are okay well i got. It cued up zero in when i'm gonna say three two one go when i say go. We're gonna hit play all right in three two one. Go this wide shot here. Love this all summer slam lago. This is my shit or here man absolutely man and this <hes> which i hope that we're going to get to live from meadowlands arena the open to this show the prepackaged open that we did for this show. I shot most of the stuff and was a whole lot of fun but <hes> here's tony shivani he is. I'm tony shivani and the bath jesse ventura who was a little appall having to work with tony chevy for this damn mm summer slam and let him know so live on the air. It's sort of weird to say tony shivani colleague w._w._e. I mean i know that you know there's a couple of paper vs where it happened. <hes> in nineteen ninety nine he said was the best year of his professional career. <hes> you know he had the most fun there and felt like it was the big leagues of professional wrestling but it still feels is weird to watch him called every stuff on hold it every microphone well here is the open and then remind me to tell you the other story on on the other side about jesse tony just completely <hes> flooding it and there was i think i am in shane and stephanie running and jumping helping into the pool evinces house useful now that was a somewhat on the streets of norwalk and dan <hes> someone had just gotten a brand new majeida mazda data and we got them the whatever steve taylor son right there eating some ice cream get him. Oh yeah beautiful young lady. Your name was pam all about god that was an dan russo playing at <hes> on the softball team. Kevin dunn dunn swing in the golf club and i have no idea who those people are bitch. I didn't get them to sign a release either as kids playing in the park just just a little kid. You won't be on t._v. No clue had to be somebody's kid though that's how we did it back then they love the theme song right there. I know we didn't play. I'm gonna have <hes> j._j. Go added in <hes> somewhere. I just love the theme song for this. Show so watch this conrad you see this japan of the crowd yeah okay then there's another pan of the crowd then there was a little tighter pan of the crowd and in the middle of that pan of the crowd one of the exuberant young ladies in the crowd proceeded to take her top off roll tide on that and that was live on the pay per view obviously has been edited tonight out and does not live anywhere <hes> in all in any archives because it was something that i used to use many many years ago whenever i do auditions with play by play guys because tony in jesse completely froze and did not know how to react and i'm like just say something to get off the puck and shot but i would use that and throw that in when someone was doing to see how they would react to the unexpected shock and most peo- some people would free. She's like jesse. Antoni did some people would be able to comment and keep rolling right along but it was right there in <hes> that instance where we got that shot where someone was exposed i that brain busters if telly blanchard and anderson against brett in jim the admiral neidhart in heart jesus christ talk about four great great workers in the ring. Just watch this match..
