I was out in the rain working in the sunken garden. The I was working beyond the second garden, and it got to the point where I couldn't work anymore. It was too miserable to be in the range and you have to watch for lightning to that's very important in central Florida, where the lightning capital of the world are one of them. Now there's another place in Africa. That's as bad as we are. Anyway. The the situation is I got up on the side of my garden, my son side of my sunken garden. I got this glimpse. Let's Oh, how pretty it was just the light was just right and all that, and it's an entry point to So you can see the side of the garden because I enjoy a garden from multiple angles. That's the way I designed them. I think about how the user Visualizes them not just from a front view, but from other angles as well. And that's a that's a calculated thing you do to have. It looked good from various angles. It's it's It's a long process. We have to talk about that one time too, because I I did it all through just observation over the decades anyway. So I took a video of my sunken guarded very fairly slowly. There's no words or anything like that. But you can see it on Instagram. If you want to see it only shows one of the waterfalls at the end. And not the other one because of the other one is too far away. But I think you'll enjoy it. It does not look like Florida at all. That's for sure. "73 FM and am 5 80 Orlando's news and talk. We are live. We want to join 844580. 9326 is the number we're going to hit one open mic here and then get right back over to the phone lines. 844580 Wdbo chase. Let's go ahead and play our first open mic. What do we have? Hey, Larry John, from Merritt Island. Hey, you're talking about how swamped busier shop is and how hard it is to move around in there and such. Have you put much thought into, you know, maybe looking at getting a second shop or a third shop or even just building yourself. A much bigger establishment. Um, you know, maybe that'll ease some of the pain. Uh, just thought Take care. Uh oh, Larry, I think I know the answer to this one. We got in this one before. Yeah, I I appreciate the vote of confidence, but I'm telling you Um, you Can't imagine you could. You could. You can run tire stores. You know, you can have all the tire stories you want. I mean, how back and they screw up tires and brakes and shocks. You see what I'm saying? But when you deal with the level of difficulty and and some of the older vehicles that we deal with, um there's just no way that me or J d can be in two and three places at the same time. I mean, it's just it's just impossible. Um, you know, and I It's like I would rather have. Yeah, I can open up shops and I'd be full of cars. But you know what my reputation would go to heck in a handbasket. It would be horrible because I wouldn't have the control. That I have here and and and just running One large shop is a It's a challenge. I mean, it is a challenge. It's not for the weak of heart. I mean, you know, it's Very few people can do this and and succeed at it, you know and actually fix the cars that come in. But, you know, we're proud of that aspect and but to have a bunch of different locations, I mean, I'd love to do that. But, you know, number number two. I don't know where you'd find the people the technicians to to fill the shop. You know, they're just It's Yeah, they can work on new stuff. But anything 10 years older, they wouldn't be able to do anything with it, You know? So it's It's really a challenge to that. You know, to this day and age, uh, the degree of difficulty that some of these cars are to repair properly. And if you spread yourself too thin, it would definitely come back and haunt you. I guess I know. You know a lot of people, you know, the more the merrier. But in this case, you know, I just have to stay with my own My one humble, uh, domain. Let's put it that away. I like that. All right? Yeah, that's staying your domain domains They were comfortable with when you can manage right now, because, yeah. It is busy, but busy is good. But again. Yeah, we've We've talked about this before Larry that it's just expansion would be great if it's possible, right, if even remotely possible, But at this point, we got the magic mechanic shop cooking. We don't really need to change much right now. In the meantime, the Let's go back to fixing other people's cars right now on the phone lines. We got Michael calling in from Dr Phillips, Michael. Welcome to the show. Hi. Thanks, Larry for taking my call. No problem, Man. I got a problem here. That's kind of frustrating. We've had it for a while. My son. It's my son's car and he's out of town today, but it's a 2014 June Cherokee latitude with the 2.4 engine automatic. Uh, from what I found on the Internet. It's It doesn't matter if it's a 2.4 or not, or even whether it's automatic, I guess, but the problem is, he can't fill it up with gas. If if he fails it all the way up. To wear it first clicks and he stops. He knows not there were fill it. That he will his car will stall. It will, uh, stutter. It will give in all kinds of grief until he's driven for a while, and evidently the gas moves down a little bit. And, uh, now he's at the point where he only keeps about half filled. He can't. If he makes a mistake and fills it up to the top, then he's going to have this problem. I looked on the Internet and I, and there are hundreds of comments and articles about this same problem. I've called the deep place the customer service. I've called the recall line. Have called the national highway safety transportation because they've got articles on their their website about it. And no one seems to have my answer to this. We've done a smoke tests. I've done to smoke test on this emission system, and they both passed. I've had several places tell me that they think it's the purge control valves. One place the the last place. We went to the service manager argued with me, And he said, No, it's it's the emissions tank itself. So I said, Okay, if that's what it takes, will change it. And whenever He started writing it up, and he said, You know, we should also change perch control valve and you know some other stuff. And I said, No, I said, maybe maybe just the canister like you said, And he said, Well, you need to take the car then because GPS a an investigation ongoing on this. Well, I called Yeah Testament service and the recall. Nobody knows about this problem. But you can find 1000 places on the Internet with the same problem. Oh, of course. Yeah, It's like this. All right, Michael. What's actually happening is when he fills the car up, you're getting raw gasoline going straight into the intake system of the car. And when he restarts this thing, he's basically starting a flooded engine. And until it gets all this gasoline, you know that's flooding the motor out and found him spark plugs out of its system. It runs terrible. So, you know, I mean, it could be anything from, uh, controls Illinois to you know, uh, purge valve, something something is allowing fuel to get into the intake. When he fills the tank. Um, you know, I know what the problem is. I mean, there's no secret to the problem. There's only one thing is going to calls that and that's gasoline, raw gasoline getting into the engine. When he shuts it off, and he fills it up. Um, usually the cell annoyed. Uh, the the You know, the that alleviates the positive pressure will close when you shut the vehicle off. And what it will do is that purge valve allow excessive pressure to actually vent through charcoal canister. So you don't get gasoline smells. It could be as simple as a, um You know the the control solenoid for it. That's just not working. I will tell you like this. Um, they will be a little diagnostic time in it. But, um You know, if you if you want to diagnose correctly and and you and you do want it repaired, Uh, I can't sit there and tell you that I can't tell you what it's gonna cost without looking at it. But Bob Berg's dresser, Big Bob, that works for me. Luckily, we've got him until the end of the year. And, of course, he's retiring after that. But, um, that would be the gentleman that you would probably want to, uh, do the diagnostic on that jeep and actually really 100% beyond a shadow of doubt..

"Holiday weekend. Of course Next week. I'm heading out of town. I've got a vacation for the first time in a while here, so I'm looking forward to getting out of town a little bit and enjoying some family and friends. Nice. Nice. Yes, You worked very hard and you never get a vacation, So I'm glad. Glad to hear that. I say that on the air in case anyone in management is listening. That's all. I just, I make sure to say that so they're like, Wow, that guy is working hard. That guy is just He's really killing it for us. I hope that we know that that's that's I hope they know that to tell them to call me. I'll tell them. How about you, Jennifer? Do you have any plans for the for the Fourth of July weekend? Yes, I'm going on college visits with my daughter to the mid. Congratulations. Nice. Yeah, we're going to it's weird places for Fourth of July weekend, but she's excited. So that's good. All right. Good. I remember that time and checking out some of the colleges. Everything that doesn't matter is important to you and all the stuff that does, that's That's why you go with Jennifer so that she can focus on the stuff that's actually important. Exactly exactly. So, what do you want to get into? I know that we have we are. We already have some questions lining up. You have a question for Jennifer. I guess I should give the number out. 84458 Oh, 93 to 6. That's 844. 58093268445809326 will take listener questions. If you have a legal question for Jennifer, Go ahead and get an 84458093 to 6. And what else would you like to get into today? Well, if we have callers, we can start with them so they don't have to wait. There's a couple things that we didn't get to talk about in our about some of the statutory changes that the governor signed into law, and there's time to talk about that I will Sprinkle it and as we can, um, But yes, you have callers. You can get right to the Yeah, Let's get to him. Jonathan Orlando, He is online one. Why don't we get started with John? Welcome into laying down the law. John, What's your question for Jennifer? Hi. I'm wondering if someone has a will do they still have to go do pervade. Oh probate, one of our favorite topics to talk about that right after H H O is in probate. Those are the two at the top of the list that we get the most questions about. I think, Jennifer Yeah, exactly. So, um, there is not an exact easy answer for that. Basically wills. The reason you write a will is for probate. Anything in a will has to go through probate. Now There's a lot of other things that we can do so that you don't need probate, and we usually have a will. It's just kind of like a catch all just in case. But you should have something rather than nothing. Because if you don't have a will you also go to probate. So, um, I mean, there's things we can do with beneficiaries like your life insurance, beneficiary and beneficiaries of 41 case. Bank accounts almost any kind of account that you have money and in a bank, um, can have a beneficiary and then you don't need a will. And then you don't need the probate. Um, if you've got property, there's things we can do with deeds, Um, life estate deeds or other types of deeds. Where then when you pass your property goes right to your heirs or whoever else you wanted it to. So those are things you can do. Usually it kind of you have nothing left, but a car those you could usually take care of without probate. Um People tend to tend them and sometimes forget and leave an account out. Um, that beneficiary thing, So you always always should have a will. Um, but there's plenty of other things we can do during a state planning to make sure you don't need the probate. And that's one of the reasons why you shouldn't just like kind of get a well off line or get. I mean, I know they had their software you can buy and like things you can get off the Internet. But if you don't talk to an attorney about some of these other alternatives because you want to save money on their front end on the will, you usually end up needing a probate, and it costs more on the back end. So I can't encourage people enough to have a will in general, but also talk to somebody about all of your assets. Um, and then you pretty much can save a whole lot of money and time and effort. And aggravation for the people that you leave behind. Excellent. Thank you so much. All right, John. We really do appreciate the phone call, of course 84458093 to 6. That's 8445809326. Is that number 8445809326 of a question for Jennifer Angler? This is laying down the law brought to you by the Orlando Law Group once again, that number 844580. 9326. So it's not a not a short answer. Of course, Jennifer. It's kind of complicated. Um, so if you do have a will, though there's still a lot of legal red tape. You kind of have to work through with some of that stuff, huh? Yeah. I mean, we didn't I didn't mention trust. But the trust is a way to get around probate, too. But you still have to do something called Trust Administration. So they trust doesn't magically take care of things either. But I mean, if you have beneficiary based everything, then I mean, yeah, we have to. Usually you have to, like, Go down and take care of your car. Um, the one your death certificate kind of gets filed That stuff that happens without you even having to do anything so that properly their praise or figures out and starts changing things. Um, and usually, then you just have to send death certificates out to like banks and that sort of thing. So I mean, it still could be overwhelming for people have no idea how to do it. And we still help people. I give them a little bit of advice. Um, but, yeah, the best conversation we could have with someone after their family passes is that look, just do these three things. You don't need a probate. You just spent like 30 minutes with us. You don't eat anymore Lawyer time and it's just so seamless and easy and.
