Charlie Kirk Discusses 50 Shades of Communism

"We are back with the founder the president of turning point. Usa just back from his student action summit. I asked him a question before we began on discussion. And he said that's an interesting one. I'm gonna to in front of three million people. Charlie cook who are we finding. We've talked about the establishment. Gop that seems to be a war. When it comes to the left the the bind administration kamala bernie blm other communist. Are they socialists. What are they i mean. Communist is a fine term. There's always been two different types of communists though and they've always hated each other. Which are the nationalist communist. And the internationalist communists trotskyites versus the lennon's of the stalin. And i think you're starting to. You're going to see that collision. But i don't think it's as ideological as it used to be. I think that they're deconstructionist's in nature that they wanna see this entire republic fall apart and kind of truth. Be this of course. Yeah i mean once you remove absolute truth in the land of the absurd. They rain exactly what's happening. They don't want to have anything. That's objectively true or right or real and they only believe there's power dynamics as the way to try to adjudicate differences or to try to organize society so i think you have kind of this coalition. Some are more legitimate communist marxism or corporatists. That just want power and relevancy. I would put kind of chuck schumer more in that direction. i think he's just more of a just brass knuckle politician that wants to be in control and power and considering how old is just really kind of sinister and dark to think about that. Then you've got to have the nihilists that just wanna burn everything and really. Yeah the antifa types and then you have the true legit revolutionaries that think they're going to usher in some sort of utopia the alexander kazu cortez's. They're the ones who really got to watch out for the ones that think they're on the right side of history there arguably the most

Why a Chinese Billionaire Is Jailed for 18 Years

"You might think that picking quarrels and provoking trouble is a bad character trait. But in China, it's a charge often used against activists and has been again to devastating effect. Shindo, who is a prominent billionaire, and he has been found guilty of the aforementioned behavior for which he has been sentenced to 18 years in prison. This is the latest in a string of punishments against outspoken corporate bosses. Let's talk about this brand of authoritarian capitalism with Professor Steve Sang, who is director of the China Institute at the University of London. Welcome to the program. Let's hear a little bit more about this man first, who who started out with 50 pigs in 1000 chickens and went on to employ many thousands of people is an agricultural entrepreneur. You're absolutely right. He is one of those really impressive Chinese entrepreneurs. And unusually, he is an entrepreneur with a big heart. So, yes, he made a fortune in agri business. He, in effect created a small tongue of his business, where he generally advertised that he is treating his people very well, indeed. And none of that seemed to upset the Chinese authorities for some time, Indeed, they were quite pleased with him. What was it was it his big heart that led him to fall foul of the authorities? Well, his big heart certainly can be a bit of a problem. And of course, Mr Son is also a Communist Party member. Now what has change is not so much how Mr Son is behaving. But how the Communist Party itself is changed. Before she Jinping. They even at different stages, put him as put Mr Shin out assets as an example of how Chinese capitalists are behaving.

But hitting Thirty hitting forty hitting fifty and took the numbers keep going up and at the same time they get more painful each and every time I remember when I hit 50 and it wasn't looking forward to it and well, to be honest with you, the fifties worked my favorite decade. It's only one more mild than it was last year, but it's a big difference because the way people perceive you, the way people look at you, the way people think about you, if they know the digit, I'm always bless. Grandma CHECK SO I know if I call them between getting out the car and get into the Actual House. He will give me some an estimate at eight. What are figuring out how things really work around full-time living in my grandma's and he was so conditioned sacrificed for us that he kind of gave everything. I didn't understand it lady said I didn't make the same kinda money you may and told me you couldn't see it as was a baby but when I gave you mama money stopped looking things that I couldn't give. She may require a pair of really nice black pop so she can look nice because when we could we feel good. If you've made the pressure of your responsibilities her responsibility so now she has all the money. She has to pay all the bills so now see when those shoes go. Not only that. Can you decide 'cause you already is aware of it? But if you keep the money she can feel when she sees shoes ditch the department or something and give it to us. That's what he was escaping by doing that. And when I active with those other people they looked at Mesa. Boil Young. Why you close look so and I'm like what does no one near the. Give me that stuff anymore and it starts by the Reebok some soft over the classics out sharing running stopping the run. Stop it and you can see your knuckles. Come out of the Furniture Mansion. They come back to see that. Nagai there where I see you. Fish gives you a pro amid. It's not enough to get you a pair of shoes because get your shoes. And you factor shoes up in each again versus. If I give you power you can go get Jong wishes. Yeah so give you three and a half grants you know what to do with this. Anybody bothered you. Tell me so when I started hustling at twelve. I was awesome between three and six had. We'll do whole process to stop my grandmother for walk me off from school. Had To tell you that I was. I was big. I was like Chubby. Away with flew away. That's one hundred and fifty pound at Floyd Mayweather a four. Now I'm looking going up. I was dead at twelve like I remember. Because at this mall to me the uninjured woke me. Home School slow. Yes yes I can make are like a like she was doing something to me won the world neon right right. You're making me look slow. Grandma did slow right because I'm begging you work me home of Dick and this is like oh he's growing up and it was become home from the school given the slip. This after School Program says that you'll be there to six three but I never turned to slip and so I only had three hours the hustle. I always been my grandmother's baby while being involved in the street. And those are the two sides you're talking curtis versus fifty cents when it made clear to me that you can serve demand if the man is there like very first experience hustler we were selling pantyhose who some pantyhose at the train station. Tube socks white t shirts in these little Kurtz with our with Adobe Larry these guys in custody near you make a few dollars and it was. It was something to do that. I actually have something from doing in. Let me ask you. What did it do to your opinion of just people in general did you have a division. There's like there's these zombies and there's normal people are just everyone was a liability because of their household that my grandmother had nine children. My mom died the one of nine children. I come into the household number nine. The first branded as they got older they was all drove. The whole place. Some grim me and my grandmother was only wounded injury so it was like as an option to get high or to drink. I get what you want. It became either all you kind of have both. It was seeing the people who I knew to sell. Drugs have other nice stuff does seem the people make the choice to actually use it. I'm looking now. I'm on this but I wrote give it to die trying I wrote. I'm Hala time because I knew there was an audience. That would like to hear that right. Right mirroring the environment that I came out of. You think it lowered your overall assessment of humans like a some people grow up around. Supportive Helpful Generous People. Those are the people in their life and then other people grow up around takers. It fucked up view of humanity. I would have. I would have said the wrong percentage of what people on Earth I think our scumbags which percentage are good I had a warped fucking percentage but she says sick correct. Some people grow up around people who are good people. WanNa give and people go around people just want to take it to my experience. 'cause I've only had one experience this that they will take right right so it make me a little defensive to that unaware of that immediately and never off God that it is so there's points that good people come around and I'm still going like this. Yes yes and and it's because I don't know exactly what that is but as with me in fine with not understanding what it is and it's just a defense mechanism developed from coming out of that environment like if a person hasn't been exposed to it to it yes when my wife and I mean a new any new dude that comes around in any capacity the first four minutes if I'm trying my hardest like okay. Let's just see where this dude's coming from? I just can't gotten better over time. But Yeah my first thing is like no urine and evaluation phase right now. Not giving anyone the benefit of the doubt. But I'm trying to shake that the person who doesn't have that they have to learn by going through fucked up experience because they're gonNA give the person the benefit of the doubt out the gate that the good people and find the nothing good but you know it's interesting so my wife somehow she's never been taken advantage of even ways you and I might think she got taken advantage of if you really talk to her yes. She saw that that doesn't affect her and I was like. Oh so when I met her a winter house. There's like five people live at her house. Got This big old house. There's five people and like you know within ten minutes. What are what are these people paying in rent? And she's like oh no he takes the trash out and she feeds the dogs. And I'm like girl you're getting. You're getting taken advantage of. Okay cut to you know. Five years later the highlight of her life on Planet. Earth was living with those people. Sure they didn't pay their way but she had like this great community. She loved them. They loved her. And I'm like Oh sometimes I thought I was getting taken advantage of but I missed the way how I grew up. I would assess why a dealer right and I look at it and go religious Ed. 'cause you didn't free food shop right so now as she can look past that and enjoy the person that they're going to be moments. We'll have good moments when you've come from nothing the nightmares. Groundhog's Day Yup. You want to go back to that. The worst experience would be if you go all the way down and fill try off made it and then go right back. Yeah so for most like that experience. But she's spirited and can have these people come in some people can appreciate it and not do things to other people will look at. You say wasn't me it was the drugs of. Es something but they'll do the foul shit to you could imagine. Let's just add that her group of friends actually wasn't like my group of friends so if I'm five people living at my house they would be taken advantage of me trying to get more than I was even given. That went from the beginning right up. St May be able to draw people. That are good people right which I didn't know existed until then but don't you think it's a loop that could be a loop that if you feel that everyone's bad mad or could take from you that you draw people who will and if you think everyone's good you might draw people who are innately good? I think if you sit sit around and you think that people good there's a high probability that you get over really that way see I look I? I'm GonNa say let me say because it's not. It's not only what you go through is whatever your coast enough to feel the say. You say your girlfriend is gone. She's with this guy. It just doesn't completely wrong so your shoulders the show. Does she cry on being someone close enough to offer combined. You didn't experience it but because you feel for her you went through that too right at. There's a point that you see something. Similize someone's behaviors to remind you of that scenario. This you went through. 'cause you have that information do but look at it and we act like. They're trying to do exactly what they don't go. Don't make you you are. How do you become who you are? I on your journey. The things that you experienced did you see it creates engine move talked about the upbringing and being a damaged having a damage background. That's for people could actually assess damage. Yeah Yeah I didn't grow up not feel the love at all..

"But Yeah I think that's right but now you you though you'll get a maybe a more important vote though at the Democratic National Convention as a super delegate now the Democratic Party is you know is. You're a former chairman you'll be so you'll be a super delegate. An automatic Elliott. The party is you know made this reform to the rules. Which means you don't get to vote on the first ballot unless it's only ceremonial but contested convention scenario? You get you get an opportunity to vote. Could you imagine supporting someone who is not the the delegates leader In essence you could you think that's possibility First of all super delegates have never decided the outcome of election ever never never Secondly super delegates are only there because after the Chinese State Convention they democratize the Democratic Democratic Party. which is a good thing because in nineteen sixty convention was heart for Harsh O? Obviously for those who remember it and elected some nominated somebody who It had only run into that six primaries in the bathroom. The problem is once you democratize. The whole officeholders weren't showing up at the convention because the only way to get to the convention under McGovern rules was you gotta run and that meant the officers the senators and Congressmen we have to run against their activist base. which is a a total lunatic? Losing proposition because Either beat them and they get mad you lose and you look like an idiot. So they didn't. That's the his I I can see that. So the only reason they put super delegates isn't so the elected officials would come not one time since Super Deli existed. Have they affected the outcome of an election. Not One in time. But you're saying they could think it's possibility that not only could there could be a broker convention we just haven't we talked like this every four years and then it doesn't happen in the last broker convention nineteen fifty two. So I mean we can certainly talk and it's fun to Gab about gossip about but that's all it is is gossip right right now I think there's about a two percent chance of a brokered convention. We'll see what happens as we get closer to percents To percents so and if if Bernie Sanders goes into that convention with a delegate lead but not enough to clinch and you know this I mean either Biden even in the Bloomberg scenario is you know. He's he's You know caught fire Super Tuesday and beyond and he's he's got a bunch of delegates D do you think the party unit does Bernie Sanders Unite Behind somebody who was trailing him and then beat them at the Alvin look if Bernie Sanders or anybody else. Let's just say Elizabeth Warren not just you know why pick on Bernie Or anybody goes in. And they're short fifty votes. They're going to get the nomination if they're short if I if they have five hundred ten votes in the next person has five hundred six. Then you know it's up for grabs and it's a pretty skinny argument. Say I got four more votes than you did. But I'm a thousand votes away from winning and I should therefore win. I mean people will make that argument but I don't think it holds water. This look at the end of the day whether you line up behind the guy that beach you're or not is about your own personality not about the largest of your loss if you're willing to do what's right for the country. Any one of these people is better than trump any of them. And I'm going to vote for whoever gets the nomination and the general and go. I work my butt off for them because trump is a disaster. He's a crook. He doesn't give a damn about the country tree All he wants to do is make money at our expense. And I'm not putting up with somebody like that and I don't care who the nominee is from that point of view. What I want is somebody who can win and ask somebody who can take the Senate and with them because we now have a great chance with Doug Collins running in Georgia of picking up two seats Georgia in addition to Colorado and Maine and so so far? So I know you have to go. I appreciate you you talking to this Here going into the Iowa caucus the one last big question for you Picking up on on on what you just said so so Donald Trump is here. He's got a lot of advantages that he didn't have last time. First of all you may have a billion dollars between the the Orange Lawrenson his campaign. He's got a strong economy to run on He has a unified Republican Party. Whereas you know half the Republican Party last last time seemed to be against him? He seems to be a more formidable candidate in many ways than he was a four years ago. What do you think are the what wh- what are the odds that he pulls this off that he that he wins reelection? I obviously I obviously know given what you said. You're going to be fighting like hell to make sure that doesn't happen. The odds of winning reelection or fifty fifty. Wow this is a guy who most people wouldn't let them in their living rooms with children. He's a terrible example bill and so but he's got a great economy And he's got this loyal fan base. It's terrified the Republicans so it comes down to this turn out. Our core. Constituency is under thirty five women and people of Color if we we get those people to the polls. We're GONNA win if we don't get those people who oppose we're not GONNA win. There has not been a single poll. That's reputable since is trump took office including the day. He took office where more than anything close to fifty percent of the American people were forum. So it's all about turnout so we've got to get somebody WHO'S GONNA turn people out and we have to have an effort that's going to turn people out and if we do our people young who voted sixty nine nine percent for the Democrats in the last three cycles in in the interim before between two thousand and sixteen now People of Color and and women particularly college educated suburban women which is why. I think we now have a shot at Georgia with Doug Collins in the race. I can't imagine the suburban women in in Georgia voting for Collins. I Think Council beat the hell out of Kelly allows for Governor Dean. Thank you for joining us on powerhouse politics. We look forward to catching up with you a long way. Thanks very much thank you so so rick. Fifty fifty fifty fifty chance fifty fifty chance. There's another fifty in my head with with Howard Dean and I think you've got hints of it with his talk about Georgia. He instituted to some fanfare. The fifty state strategy the fifty states. Rather as you and I remember talking to to Democratic leaders in places like Nebraska That never got any kind of attention. before And you know what it it it was a four. It's time maybe a little bit ahead of its time as this time. DNC chair you start to see them building something like what I'm struck by how much that has fallen away And For the Party. Now there are some new states. They'll put on the map up but to his point about the trump fan base. There were vast portions of this country where the Democrats just can't run candidates at all and they just have to write off not just presidential racist but also Senate seats Their stories again about trying to bring that back and to mobilize people in a way that changes and that was one of the keys in the midterms but The the Democratic Party right now does not feel like a fifty state party Despite what Tom Perez says despite what Howard Dean tried to do it's it's interesting that he is so far away from endorsing sourcing. Anybody he's got you know you you you know. We often talk about the home state role. Doesn't sound like he's If you were going to line up with Bernie Sanders I think he would have already been there. That's right although WH- what he was talking about. Young people is a major part of the Bernie Coalition. I mean we're likely to see we've seen it already. Enormous gap among between young voters and old voters young voters for Bernie and almost no interest at all in Joe Biden for older voters. It's it's almost a mirror image and we'll see that in the caucuses I would presume. A lot of people are talking about record turnout. A lot of that presume is going to be driven by a younger voters who are more likely to support Bernie Sanders there's But the Iowa caucus goers is tends to be a little bit on the older side the traditional ones and I've seen it just in the last couple of days in terms of what I think of as an energy energy gap between candidates. There's definitely more excitement around Bernie Sanders of people to judge Elizabeth. Warren then there is around Joe Biden and around his events Maybe it doesn't matter though because of the organization and because a lot of folks who are just good loyal Democrats Democrats don't necessarily go to campaign events but they they will caucus that's the that's the Biden view of the world. And you're telling me IT'S GONNA come out at turn out. In other words. Whoever turns out more of their voters is GonNa when you heard it from Governor Dean himself I guess we should? We should write it but the the interesting thing about Iowa's we've had a bunch of polls recently and some all of them have Bernie Sanders name. I have Joe Biden's named I. There's clearly a top four. who were in contention? Plus Amy Klobuchar just behind them in the fifth fifth. They can't all walk away with Elliott's because of the fifteen percent rule only some of them were going to walk away very devastated by the by the results here. But it's possible that all of these polls are right. The only difference is just in how you assume the turn out will be. And if you assume that there's GONNA GONNA be a lot of first time caucus goers and younger voters you can make your argument for Bernie. It's GonNa look more like previous cycles. You can see why Joe Biden turns out On top but but We're not going to know until until Monday night and I is going to be a photo-finish of epic proportions. In what when will we know the results. I mean the good thing about caucuses we nobody shows up at seven o'clock. We know it all happens. But how long is it gonNA take for us to know who the winner was yes. Seven central's was eight eastern I think by nine thirty or ten o'clock eastern time we're GONNA have most of the caucus results in The question question in my mind John as we discussed on our podcast earlier this week is the possibility of multiple winners. Because of the way that the the alignments work Several the people are likely to get out there and say Yeah I just won. The Iowa caucuses and then get out and go to the good in New Hampshire so I think it's it's going to be if if it's closer races as it was last time and a lot of people think it's going to be it's going to be muddled I think we've seen Iowa already have an impact in the Early exits of people like Kamala Harris Vets overworking Kosta. That's because they didn't get traction here. I don't know how much more we see. Things Winnow As a result of the results it's possible candidate to drop but these candidates are in it for the long haul all right Rick Klein Jonathan Karl Powerhouse Politics. podcast thank thank you for joining us. We will be back with our regularly scheduled podcast once we know the winner in Iowa..

"Hello and welcome to powerhouse politics. I'm ABC News. Chief White House correspondent Jonathan Karl and ABC News Political Director recline and Rick Urine days. According to my schedule I you're not here in the studio with me jury an island. I'm I'm an Iowa this is this is the place in then pretty soon. All the presidential candidates are going to be here once the peach wraps up. But I've checked on it and the Iowa caucuses are definitely Monday. There's no delays. It's nothing else. No no news can intervene. That's going to change it It's all going to happen. It's all GonNa go down here on Monday night and it doesn't matter whatever Lamar Alexander does doesn't affect. The Iowa caucuses right by the way Lamari a veteran of the Iowa Caucus. That's right you had a kid quite a moment out there I remember remember he had. ABC's Alexander Beats Beats Clinton And even Forbes and Graham to I think he was. He was quite Interest Anyway so obviously peach trials about to wrap up With Lamar Lamar decision. All the drama is gone. Witnesses all that All that really awaits the inevitable but rick you're in Iowa we are just Days away from the Iowa caucuses and we thought it would be a great idea to do kind of a variation of our emergency podcasts by going to to somebody that knows the Iowa caucus as well perhaps all too well but A good friend of the podcast Mister Howard deem former governor Vermont and former presidential candidate former chairman of the DNC governor. Diener with us. I am wish US thank you. Hey thank you for joining us here we we. We figured we'd we'd check in. You know thing about Iowa you. I do about the challenges facing the Democratic Party and I just I want to get to get a sense for you From you what what. What is what is going on in the minds of these candidates of candidate out there In Iowa yeah well with a when when when you were doing it there was really kind of a three way battle a to win the caucus. Now we have maybe a four or five way battle. What what what? What's going on with these candidates? Now they face this This file well it depends how well they know what happens. One of the things I learned was that you can have huge momentum shifts the last three days So I mean the things. People islands are very kind of Thoughtful and they're gonNA casually. Who can win against some? And they're going to calculate who they like what message they want to send and it's all and they changed their minds all the time in fact they actually change their minds of the Caucasus. Because this is a big discussion inside a rom some of them will be small rooms. Eight or ten people in them and some of the beaver a hundred and fifty people in them and they'll have one vote and then if some people don't get fifteen percent of the delegates that the people at the caucus they'll have a second vote and the people who didn't get Fifteen percent can combine their votes for a single candidate or go over to one of the candidates already been selected. So it's it's a kind of weird process and it's very interesting. What it does show is how well people organize? And and that's second choice is is so key So you went in Ba. Let's let's just go back in time for a minute before we talk about. What's next you you you went in two thousand and four? You had been. You've been the surprise breakthrough candidate in the fall You know kind of coming out of nowhere. I remember well Y- The surge you had which began as I recall about September August September And then and then you go into the caucus you'd started to lose a little bit that a momentum. What were you expecting when you went in were you were you? Did you were chanting when you're always expecting to win because otherwise you wouldn't be in business this but I could feel it slipping away with about three weeks to go. We weren't sharp. We hadn't done the follow up calls. It needs to be done. I always run my mouth. I always say what I think which is not always a good thing in politics or if people like it And I feel it slipping away. I was surprised how well I didn't do. How badly did I came in eighteen percent and at one point was around thirty. Five so It was it did end up as a three three way race and went on concert so I kept coming in third and then I figured well you're not gonNA GONNA change But you know the the mood shifted first of all carry had a great organization which he built at the last minute just to save it. What was the insider candidate? There was supposed to win and secondly They got people in the polls and it was very very good and it was all put together in the last four weeks when Mary Beth K.. Hill and Michael Hooley showed up and we're GONNA is the hell out of everybody and the other thing that happened was people looked at Cherry and they thought okay this guy this guy can beat Bush. He's an inside the beltway guy. He's a traditional traditional candidate. And we don't know about Dini's ski. He's getting people excited but he gets excited himself. And we don't really know about him and I think they opted for John on because they thought he could beat Bush which yeah in in in a in a in a in a wild election all around but another piece of the lower of two thousand. Four War Governor is is the the idea that Dick Gephardt decided to To essentially take you down to attack Hugh in in the closing weeks and it's being relaid now. A couple of Caucasus leader as a murder suicide pact or mutually assured destruction and it's colored to the campaigns that I've talked to some of the decisions not to attack the other candidates and I've continued to be struck by how mild this campaign has been awesome sharp debate exchanges aside. There hasn't been a single negative ad Democrat on Democrat In this in this race the gloves have stayed on Exactly there's been a lot of behind the scenes stuff I mean all the stories have been printed which clearly has been leaked to reporters other campaigns But that's true. I mean I I you you know. I didn't actually know that my campaign is attacking Gephardt. Say Sit in Bollywood for me that I wouldn't let him do it. Because it's perfectly obvious that went went to people attack each other in a multi person race vote for somebody else and the the obvious proof of that was Jesse. Ventura was a professional wrestler. Who ended up Hasbro governor of the state of Minnesota because the Democrats and the Republicans just beat the living daylights out of each other and people got sick of it so I would say the murder suicide pact was That was certainly something that didn't help. But do you think that these you think we're just missing the the biggest blows because it's happening quietly it it just it feels feels like Pretty Tame Caucus to me A lot of stuff going on underneath. I mean the stuff that I forgot. Somebody said that you know what I'm sure there were phone because there are some of them. Were exposed. I don't remember which campaign it was but the war campaign was getting out somebody versus warranted really in league with the billionaire's or something like like that and you know so. Of course the stuff is going on. There was one candidate who I'm not gonNA mention who called who has people called Iowa voters in the middle the night and said we're from the Howard Dean campaign. We have some questions for you about the environment. Well I mean so. There's plenty of that stuff going on. It's just not getting in the paper so I wanted ended ask you what one of the most Effective and high profile a surrogate for Bernie Sanders which which has been important because He's been stuck in Washington has been AFC Alexandria Cossio Cortes and a while back. She warned that the Democrats could be create too big of of a tent and said In this quote from her in any other country Joe Biden. I would not be in the same party but in America we are and I. I my interpretation of her warning. Is that when you when you have such a big tent and you try to appeal to To such a broad ideological SPEC spectrum spectrum you end up not having the same firepower puncher message gets diluted you end up compromising to much on principles. That's like the exact opposite message that we are hearing from Joe Biden. I'm wondering wh what do you what do you. What's your take on that debate within the party but you know we don't have multiple party system in the? AFC is right in the sense that we had a multi party system. We'd have narrower tents and then you'd make the coalition's after the election as they do in parliamentary the democracy is well here We make the coalition's before the election so I think she's here. Complaint is fine it's just not it's a nice observation I should but until we have an Oldie party system with ranked choice voting so it works This isn't going to happen so I don't think she's making any other thing. I think. Think about this. If you want to govern you are you're the American people are a big tent so there are some lines you can't cross like we're not going to be. Ah in favor of restricting. Women's rights run their own lives. We're not going to be in favor of taking away. People's healthcare as trump is getting rid of pre existing conditions as Republicans are. We're not GONNA do that. There's some lines no Democrats GonNa Cross and if they do they won't be Elected but You gotTa build a big big ten because the American people are all across the ideological lot. There's got to govern the country the end and the truth is even this is why I think. AFC is not. I'm not exactly. She's technically right but not practical here. Even in Europe in the parliamentary democracies where you get the Greens and the very far left in the very far right and all that they end up having to be in the same tent on the Spanish Prime Minister just put together a coalition. The Greens At Conservative Party in Austria put together a coalition with the Greens. Because they didn't want to go to the far right which has been caught in some big scandal so you know at the end of the day no matter what system you have you have to be somewhere near where the public is governor. I WANNA ask about the the possibility maybe the probability of a of level of a drawn out process in this one of the record recently saying the party should get in line To to make sure that that trump is defeated. Did you don't have a candidate in this race yet. Mike Rosa candidate well. There's a certain candidate that might be That might be favored in Vermont. We'll have to see how that plays out..

"Every in so I I messaged I don't think so it doesn't mean you have to dater we'll maybe that was my health dray to fall in love and get married if I had a test I know I know I know I mean I guess I would borrow you're right because borrow would be like I give it back so I would assembled the entire thing I went to target I got all the ornaments I got all the things I that tree was decorated same day that is not my personality will you take me a week to do that it was like I kind of sat back and looked at the tree and it was like so beautiful and amazing and I was like I'm obsessed like I love this and at work I would focus bobby gets on me a show like I doodle during the show I'm googling during the show I'm doing things and he's like stay here but also part of what he loves about me is that I can kind of be all over the place and I'm like well which do what do you mean a focus so for me it I was able to be more productive but it also altered who I was the personality wise and so I can relate to the fact of like not being who you are and then you have to keep taking more feel the same way and then you get to a point we just feel like total crap and you want to like never take it again but then you keep taking it because you're like I need like a upper you fill up and you feel down and there's all these different levels and this was me juggling dance and by the way this is amazing here you see alternated them day depending day but like and that's not uncommon but it's also not smart no but it's it's amazing hearing you say because now I understand like the people that up to the pillow Varghese and stuff who say that hearing me talk about on the reunion like changed their lives for the better which I was not sure what I was going to do it walked out onto the reunion stage because it is kind of a personal matter but matter but like I was like no addiction addictions using the country anyway and I'm not saying I was a d do but I'm just saying like people need to end mental like all of these things that we try to cover up need to be addressed all the joker the other day and ever it's my opinion is that the joker addresses the reasons that people do bad is human cruelty like I'm saying Get to me at address the roots like people were bullies did horrible things and then he he acted out scene I wanNA tangent because I don't take my what I'm saying is early Gotcha explains like you know like the reasons he does what he does is because he was pushed to like people are horrible oh I guess the point is then people didn't want that to be aired because they're like no no like it was because like you know whatever reasons without without getting into it I just think it's healthy to talk about this stuff so I decided to say and I also had been waiting to tell like I I honestly think that if I wasn't adderall Naomi and I probably would have never broken up but I also wouldn't be where I'm at now and so everything kind of comes you know there's you know there's pros and cons each path but like it was kind of Nice it's eight on the stage and I can see that her face lit up with pure joy that like I'd said I'd stop taking it so my story with although was you know I was I was allowed to stand at my desk in elementary school if I was allowed to stand ask like agro I participated in class and I was very well behaved if I was forced to sit then I poked the kids next to me and talk to him and everything I just was always like very maybe like eight I don't know I'm not sure how I feel about the diagnosis diagnoses but I was not an tailgate until college and then took it Franks we were both adult parents did not get my parents age which they could have made yeah because I know that there was some kids in my grade that had it but I made it out which I'm happy because I didn't have to go through the riddle in phase and stuff like that so I remember taking it from I remain and my GPA. My junior year also I started classes like finance that I wanted to take not like study about rox which some reason I feel like geology is all made up because they're like this rock is twenty million years old and this one's a hundred million years old and this is a thousand in my brain was just like I can't focus on this at all it's not made up I know but it just wasn't my GPA went from a one seven this could be studied case study on Atarot Right now actually and I called my parents and I was nervous I didn't know they were GonNa say because my parents were anti that stuff too and I thought might I was never like a drug kit or anything like that like they just weren't you know we played sports growing up and that was it and my parents were like wheat and put you on it or whatever but they were like we knew that you always needed like medicine but like you're like in a very positive way and I was shocked they're like yeah we'd rather you take it legally and L. Eagerly and so they're like go the doctor and so I went to my doctor junior not really well in law school fortunately even though you know I took a while to graduate last year it was funny my buddy and I would send the front row and we would we still went out and stuff but we did really well in class there's only one test that semester in all school and that's why there's so much pressure on final thing for my life I really viewed it as the movie like I swear the whoever made the movie invincible not invincible was his garden With Bradley Cooper it's based on a a an exaggerated form of it but that is based off outer all and that's what it was great and I was prescribed it I took my dose on I was Sposa actually I took under my dose even up till when I stopped I always took under my does and find so sometimes I would just swallow work I knew I was like okay bobby is GonNa be so proud of me because I'm not going to be doodling or doing whatever but also then altered my personality and who I was like sometimes so focused but then I wasn't like so that that's what happened with me so what I've been able to so I stopped taking about four months ago and I actually it was offered it the other night I have like I am good at like when I decided to do things like I never got it Phil that's how I stopped because it was funny 'cause I'd have to wake up and.

"Eh it hasn't come out yet its third season so everyone from the New York to go to the Hamptons on the weekend that's what the show focuses on films like six weekends Oh yeah I ended up hanging out with one of the cast members for that and then we d like to I don't know this summer was kind of funny but yeah so everyone kind of intermingled in Robbo after a certain amount a year Bravo Leopardi's got it but yes so as we learned in the first thing there's so much more than Bravo like you're so much more like there's you know some some people here they were like he's like an onion just he's a lot of layers and I would agree so yeah there's I mean there's I love when you find out that people have different areas of their life because I think some people might just have you in the Bravo bubbled but obviously they heard the first part that I mean then when you do things like Summer House called then that keeps you in that Bravo bubble but you have you're doing other things can you have other passions and you're following your heart and things that you WanNa do and then you have a philanthropic side like you have different things that you care about and I think that's something that was a good foundation I think are they break out of that Bra bubble maybe do some dancing with the stars Bobby Bounce Oh yes yeah well he won dance Oh he's also did he love it he loved it it was really hard it was hard work has in he's he's a hard worker he said the hardest thing he's ever done And it was a lot of work I was there I flew out for the premiere and I flew out for the finale so I was there when he like when they were about to announce the winner I was like okay no way but I mean they're like phones down bones down you can't fill glass and then I'm filming and then they announced his name and I felt kind of felt like a bad friend because my reaction was so shots like I'm like as as a friend and CO worker like support the hosts like I should be more like less shocked but I was like freaking out like I couldn't believe it because he couldn't dance he was the underdog like nobody knew who he was like I mean granted a lot of celebrities on there sometimes you have to like revisit okay I know there are celebrity but like why do I know them and link for him mm-hmm like we're he defines it appropriately which is we're in certain markets of the country where for on air you're on air and you happen to listen to us then of course I know who Bobby Jones's but like if you're in La we're not on air they're like people are like who the heck is bobby bones and he gets a New York City who the heck is like big pocket where they may not know and people are tuning in so but I tell you our listeners which are some of the same listeners on the podcasts there so frigging amazing he won dancing with you have awesome t r the people like our people he won dancing with the stars because of that and he won over the hearts of Americans that didn't and voters that didn't know him like our fan base is so loyal like like he's considering running for governor of Arkansas I think he might win the family yes like I would not I mean Arkansas's varies from but I wouldn't put it past him so I mean you know when you have that that that base which I think you would bring that with you if you went to dancing with the stars I feel like you would have your Bravo people that would like bachelor people and Bravo would you ever do the bachelor 'cause that's ABC so that's my nightmare I I can't bring I just I previously told you that I can't go best thirty days in a relationship because of fear like then you don't have to break up W Cup with twenty different people I would just give like I would just be like yeah you all get roses again first of all also I would know within five seconds of meeting ever like I would know that first night who was picking up when they got the limo easily like I would instantly no because like my chemistry with people like how I've found myself it's very quick and I know like right off the bat and I just like I breaking with nineteen different people or whatever it was like of course there's a number obviously always like you can get to make but I I just don't enjoy like I'm a people pleaser I don't hurt people's feelings like I just also aw yeah like to publicly like everything about it like I don't have anything against the like I'm just saying like it would be really really or reality TV besides Bravo you would lean more towards something like dancing with the stars and not dating show dating show it'd be tough for me to do I think like a challenge would be fun like if we did a Bravo like style MTV like road rules real world challenge. I think that would be Fantastic housing race yeah except I'm scared skydive and I know that would be part of it yes I always wanted to thrive are Chelsea actually from our show is on survivor she got second or third I would love like I like survivor mazing race wouldn't do big brother but yeah like I like the challenge aspects Yeah I I am yeah dancing with the stars I think it would be cool because you get amazing shape and I feel like it's a fun challenge but you are I mean it's a pretty vulnerable spot to put yourself in and I have is sometimes and sing I like to do you cook do down I'm a I'm a decent dancer but man you're putting yourself out there partner Sharona okay she had red hair shiner bird I remember falling in love with Lake Julianne Huff like in the back she wasn't dancing during his seat rose she's yeah she's been gotten yup yeah well maybe she would come back for you married to a hockey player so with a person like dancing like hook up with China which that was a big question like are you in China dating or hooking up because they're both single and he was able to keep that completely separate he apparently did have some other relationships on the show which that came out on Howard Stern yeah one of the Dan the girls that was on dancing with the stars of the Lid Howard Stern recently and put some stuff out there and I didn't even know about it and I was like excuse me I should not be ignace on Howard stern that's amazing Yeah I've I've heard that that tends to happen because we had something in our lives recently that wasn't about us but like people just get on that get on the show talk yeah and they look like okay well Howard's heroin bust out all my stuff Howard Howard stern the King of Radio is asking essentially that's the situation that I know of it was just like yes I will tell you anything like all stuff coming out like I was listening to it and I was like eight years eight years I can't I can't so okay so this was kind of our little like reality did so we've found out how you kind of got into southern are you are where you think southern charm is GonNa keep going point I think it's going to be I think this is about our time to me freshman and a good way I think we yeah I don't I don't know were you know what I can say or not say but I just think ready for like a fun fresh start in a positive way where it's like all right like we got to see a lot of this like you know turmoil and drama and stuff but like let's let's see where everyone's at you know next time we show up if we do and I think it'll be an thing it'll be like are growing ups season I think a lot of it's been you know like the guys don't do anything there you know like Peter Pan Syndrome and stuff and I think that there's chance that you know if we do come back you know like this pillow stuff is taking off fortunately like this is all new and like you know Austin's got his beer stuff I think there's a chance at a new type of show again if we come back so Yeah I think I think in a position to maybe you know I like fans not banging their heads against the wall watching US said sheer force now that's good okay so next thing we'll get into what was discussed on one of the reunion show this season which was kind of adderall which I wanNA talk to you about it because I have taken out role so we'll get to that next okay third thing we're going to get into kind of what we said we were talking about earlier and it it's it's at all which I mean I don't know if you were officially diagnosed with add or Adhd or when you started taking it then I had I knew I had trouble concentrating all through school I know that in high school if my mom would have put me on roll or something I would have done so much better but I had trouble focusing and my mom was anti any of that so didn't use it college didn't use any of it then it was like later in life I got on it and it was like amazing I got so much done like and it wasn't even at this point my life it wasn't like homework aiming for test now in college I did borrow it from people and it was like my roommate had some and my roommate would give me some if I had a test and I would be able to study all night and I would as it and it was crazy because that was normally not my I didn't that focus I didn't have that retention I didn't have any of that it was always a struggle for me and so I was like this is what it's like and this is how I can get an amazing trade but I obviously didn't have full access to it and how my own prescription or anything and then you know later in life when I got it I wasn't contest or do anything but I mean I would get it and I would like everything my house would be organize like one time I got on it wasn't at all it was Vance lance yeah we'll violence has any president and if you're not like there's yeah we'll get into it because I was like I feel so yes you're not if you're not a depressed this person like vans actually if you take a united present when you're not depressed it actually will make you depressed it's weird like I mean again like like you know I don't Clap Pharma companies but yeah I- Atarot works best for me but yeah you're right it turns Pedro it turns a boring textbook into the page riveting novel yeah and it's but or or like I would go like I got this tree from restoration hardware that had to be assembled and put together and it was like twelve feet tall and then I had to target all the ornaments my normal personality is not to unpack that box been my husband was deployed uh-huh somewhere and I got my vance prescription I had him that day I took a pill I unpacked the restoration hardware tree I.

"People like you're like Oh there's caring for your child labor no big deal there's no and it's just normal Sheryl Crowe Lake Mary was with me getting her lashes done the other day and Sheryl Crowe Act out with like a well my therapist told me people keep saying I'm an extrovert but I was like all I want is time alone chill but it's like you feel like you feel guilty that I'm not hanging out with basically so you yes how was explained to me and a therapist ones told me because since every told me it was an extrovert that's what I thought I was and she's like well you are but you're both sometimes you need your introvert time to reach out which otherwise you can't be who you need to be on the air yeah it makes sense because stuff we're doing now like yeah there's I get it in tell you you know another day but I've figured out ways to cope and it's a nice dinner with just like two people you know after whatever and like just chilling okay and just relaxing let's take it back to before all of this started for you how how did you end up on Bravo like how so casting call era wasn't a casting call you know we were friends in Charleston and Charleston's a very close knit kind of incestuous town I I don't know if that's basically the easiest way to describe it one kind of knows everyone everyone's dated everyone in basically Whitney's mom had moved after hurley thanks Mary ordered Damasec from her with dogs on it and never got it how was that Oh yeah teller because Mary how much was it because it was a gift for Mary's mom you know I would ever happen we need to get it it doesn't matter we'll get it get it's like pajamas that has dogged demise dog so Mary submitted the picture of her mum's dogs and then printed on cute setup pajamas and sent to you and she never got it but anyway sidebar about Whitney's mom keep going so she we like to support products that people saw if you can't tell so she she after late husband I bought this house in Charleston moved down Whitney lives in La but it was spending a lot of time in Charleston sorry my throat's so he started to embed himself into Charleston and he was like this place is absurd like this needs to be a television show and he started to talk to people about it and you know we kind of knowing really thought it was going to be a real thing but he he started to put people on tape and at this point he put Cameron and or he put show up in Thomas on tape after new years so the together and I I like a natural probably similar drills and everyone talks to each other like you you know you can't be stranger like if you see someone lost you're GonNa talk to him you know if you're at a party you're going to make friends with them so everyone you know his friends and Witney starts to pitch this out west at like a film festival or something it's always funny I get in trouble every time until the story because I don't know which like I thought I had it right this time they're like Craig's dot towing the story but the he put together this like trailer basically for a TV show is gonNA sizzle and Bravo really liked it but they were like we want some more more and so we all continued hanging out for a while no one really knew what was happening but and he started to take a chance on his like wild boyfriends or his party what his his his friends that were guide is that we're wild in the city slip yeah he'd started take a chance on highbrow like society was like Oh well like my friend Craig is kind of like nuts like he's like in law school and stuff but he's always allen like I don't know they just basically started a venture into New People and as much as you Google I was in my second year loss as much as you google should I do a reality. TV show or not you cannot find that answer on Google and I tried what and so the only person on Google has yourself like I wonder if there's any articles in behind I I basically had lunch with Cameron and chip one day and we were like no let's do it for me what happened was I I had strayed away from it for about five months I mean it's a long process you know my my life was in a path that I thought was the right direction I talked to my dean an eighty year old lady and she's Cregg know what you live in a new time like this you do heroin or rock on TV you'll be fine they it's going to be okay I like yeah thanks buddy came down to me as I woke up one day and I knew I wanted to do and I was like what I regret more not doing something in wondering what if or doing it and having to fix stuff down the road and that was a no brainer for me and so we decided to do it even though no one really thought it was a real thing and I remember I was in like target one day or Walmart and when he called me and he's like the show Guy Greenland and I was like I don't know what the hell that means with he like no one knows what that means obviously filmed the pilot and then it was like a he just put he basically built movie trailer around us like we went to a couple of events and stuff but it wasn't it was like a two minute thing and then he's like all right cameras going to show up and we didn't really believe they did and then we started filming and that was it but no there was no castings like I didn't really think you know I am I growing up up I always thought it'd be fun to do TV or movies but I wasn't going to move to l. a. and attempted but it came to me and Yeah so here we are so like six seasons in like did you think at the beginning like okay maybe this one or two seasons fun but like the B. Six seasons in oh my goal honest just in the last few seconds I was like what was your honest go I think third was my like that would be really cool if we made it through years that means at this was worth it I know that I remember I season didn't go great in the beginning the beginning what year was that like I don't know how seasons their year each year okay so subtract success two thousand thirteen starting filming into googling things about should I do reality so in two thousand fourteen so this before you were googling there was an article written on the Huffington Post and it said I'd all I typed in was should I do reality TV show bobbed up and stuff popped up for me and the number one thing to consider was except that you have given us appear privacy except to the extent that you have protected certain things in your contracts also look of the other articles that Huffington Post is written about me over the last six years type in print I mean I didn't type in your name but I mean I'm just wondering how was that for you giving up your and your privacy you're who you want like you know I I knew from being completely honest I knew that being quote unquote famous or being known by everyone or whatever you WanNa call it you could only complain about it and once you got there not something that you would always I would always wonder what it felt like to be in that position to be you know you know for it to be hard to walk near port by yourself or be like notice or something I would i would have always wondered what if but I was aware that once I got it that I would probably want to go back to time that I didn't have it but it was better I still wanted to know what it felt like so like I I just worth the risk yeah it was worth the risk I knew that I knew what I was risking and I was okay with it and at the end of the day I mean of course if you become the male Martha Stewart it's like a whole negative and at the end of the day I wouldn't change a thing I you know my goal was to always make a lot of money to be able to help people so I always wanted to be the reason I wanted to get wealthy for some reason I hate the word rich really bothers me I don't know why but side I like wealthy because my mom and be like Oh you're rich friends it sounds like I don't know about that word really it sounds like salty success isn't as defined financially successful right could be there you go yeah so financial freedom was always my goal so that you can do whatever you want having boundaries and limits and I also like and that's kind of how I got into law was I liked it I was good at it and I knew I would be able to make substantial amount of money early on in my career you know there was a chance to do that if he did it right and so I could start helping people early on I would not have been able to start doing the it's like I got to do in Haiti and stuff at twenty five and twenty six if I had you know an any other job so yeah I mean I don't regret it it's worth me and also I get to put my own someone's face yeah it's overwhelming and gets like I couldn't go out in Nashville last night but that's you can't complain about Oh that's a whole nother thing like you can clean about the problems you have soundly gay you know I want to thank yourself there yeah exactly and so it's not a problem it's just born in people I feel for that are born into something like that and then it's like they don't have a choice last totally my control in other circumstances you know what you were getting into and I I do like it yeah there's some there's some stuff that a little weird to deal with but How long in season six like how many more seasons do we see settlement sure I mean I think we're so we're in we're in twenty seven different countries now so traveling is very interesting huge in Australia huge in Europe Canada was the one place I could go for a while that no one had a clue I was there well I guess it's also so without international until I don't WanNa be like that is my goal they sent stocks saucy gotta go from Banner Pump Rules to do a let God you so oh this is another thing I wanted to address is a bravo repertory or raphael celebrity? Okay so you're a celebrity on although so there's a name for that which I just learned today is Bravo Liberty or you're you're on your famous bravo right yes so stocks he is a bravo liberty so all of the Bravo people like what so y'all kind of inter mingle on the Bravo Liberties hang out it depends yeah a lot of us do unfortunately a lot of us are like fans of each other in a good way like do you know Lisa Vandross don't know her I'm really good housewife's I know Sonya and Ramona from New York what are they like their absurd they're amazing I mean it's just like Sonia like I thought that was so new and I are like sonar closer than Ramona but I did do Ramona's so funny she I did Lavigne's whether this past year and Carolina's Andy's makeup artists from forever ago and she's a sweetheart I love her and she came into my green room to like to do my makeup whatever and I had brought a friend from college pete who is kind of drunk and he was in the hallway and I hear we both Ramona it'd be like are you not even come in and say hi and pizza of course I'll come in and say hi and he goes into our green room and they talk for like ten minutes and both of us are like one hundred percent thinks he's you right now and we're like Oh yeah ed all of a sudden it her team comes in there like what he's like I'm pete and she's like who the heck's Pete he's like I don't know you told me to come in oh that's hilarious but vandor pump is you I'm closes with the show so kristen has visited a couple of times in Charleston she loves Charleston's Aussies visited a couple of times I'm friends with Katie is awesome haven't really met the guys that much only gene was in a really weird but then shop also Ni- accidentally got talked into filming Summer House this year and Summer House is the Bravo version of real world or like a big brother so there's cameras and there's Mike's head boards there's cameras all throughout the house and.

"AAC whatever I wanted but then after second season I moved home for a little bit my mom had thyroid cancer and she was doing this radioactive iodine treatment where URL that stitch fix dot com slash kids slash amy stitch fix dot com slash kids slash Ami okay okay so couple of things that get into this next thing this is going to be our southern charm reality or just TV segment because I feel like there's some things we need to dive into with CRAG which is well we're gonNA talk about hallmark movies because I didn't know we both had the same aspirations dreams can we just think packed right now because you would you're more likely to get on the hallmark movie before me I don't know about that no it's true so even though Kristin Chenoweth which by the time this episode airs Christian with episode will have aired and we talked about her hallmark movie and on the podcast she told me she would get me in as a Barista one day see what happens maybe I could be a Barista on the Craig Craig Craig movie but you also have the same dream Oh thousand percent also I know I have always been a fan of hers she did this show in Texas this Texas oil tycoon show got cancelled after like it was like or Christian wives of like Texas it was phenomenal but it got cancelled after year no site was unlike ABC or something but yes she's on all these like hallmark movies and it is my dream to be on a hallmark Christmas I feel like to that is what I love interest probably like you obviously we I'm casting you as the main character who lives in a small town again you run like a Christmas tree farm and then the girl from the big city she comes to the farm like I don't know take over the city because her bigwig like they're going to acquire the property ski resort exactly and you're like no this is how I make Chris mysteries and everybody are you do you hate Christmas and she's like yes I hate Christmas who cares and then you convince her daughter I probably have a daughter take phenomenal no and then I can see it as I will be y'all will meet at a coffee shop from time to time in fine take the mediocre you'll be like the best friend of mine where I'm not going to settle she won't like me like she's going to go back and then you'll be like just take a chance because my wife I'm probably widow I'm your sister Oh sister yeah I just need to put your heart out there again and it's like isn't the right person and then we have the dramatic ending where like like she goes out to me but I'm not there so then she goes to get on the plane to go home and it was like so dumb see the laptop I see that she's actually there to like acquire the stuff okay Oh yeah and then I thank you for making a sister and not a way better because like someone's gotTa tell me to put my heart back in line so you I will set you straight so hallmark if you're listening Craig and I we have where do you have the movie hit who's GonNa be the girl Lawrence O.. That would be cool but she is she christmasy well that's how you're GonNa meet her in date her marry her but then like my whom I we'll see it's either a widow situation or like an ex girlfriend cameron is probably the girl let's be honest because she's like she's an all movie it's an environment I feel like I'm GonNa meet my stuff like this but I have a good cameron's theory like from my shows theory is my like I live from southern joins theory is that I will meet my in term like my next long-term relationship will be co star on my first hallmark Christmas movie shut up that's cared that's amazing okay so we need camera candace cameron not single so who could we cast to the would be to do a follow for we'll follow I mean I'm going to have you back on obviously when you release your cookbook that would be sweet awesome issues Nashville Fan and I already was but now like after twenty four I was on the street in front of the hotel and there was a party trailer truck that went by I know but they had a hot tub on the back and I was like I know it's annoying but like the energy here it wasn't like it's fine I got a kick out of it like it wasn't it didn't bother me right but when you live here and you're stuck driving behind the hot tub well people are peddling and drinking and you're like trying to get to work I can't believe I love that the alcohol laws here must be fantastic I have no idea all I know is when I'm stuck behind them and I'm trying to get to me grow annoyed because bobby has a policy if you're late you get sit home l. for sure one hundred percent like two seconds Slate obviously our audience is laughing because I have a look let's get another class yeah but no I I was woken up because I'm staying at the Thomson and up to Jackson so I last night I had dinner by myself with a bar which was amazing downstairs by yourself yeah we'll because my nationality cool about that but it is ask a little bit in in that it was and then the two bartenders were awesome they actually we have the one used to be managed by Mark Brian Charleston we're all connected it was cool you guys and then it was funny because I don't think they knew I was and then all of a sudden people started to come up and they're like man you handled up pretty well it was fine but I wanna see that up top that I walked out and I don't do really well by myself I get really overwhelmed and I walked out and like it was like I turned right around and went to my room watch go up to the Jackson by yourself you have to have someone with you but for the most part I will say Nashville wise people we'll leave you alone because like I'll go out to eat I mean I've run into Jerks Bentley at the grocery store that sorry Keith urban at whole foods or like I get lashes in which a lot of shout I'll shout out amy at Lash Nashville she's amazing but like all the like you like you just see all okay and it was just like what is this Nashville's just amazing like that and they're very cool but unlike chill but tourists are also here that's what that's what it is and they were last night and that's how Charleston is to people asking a people are just used to us here like knowing cares but you become a bucket list it's like you guys are the Bachelorette town now it's GonNa be there it's barely bigger than vegas you know you guys are rated like number one and actually we're rated number two you right now for Bachelorette Parties Charleston on November first but anyway it was fine it's tough to that's a whole nother conversation about how you go from us we're like Neon v Necks and blazers like try to stand out the this extrovert ever when you first started southern before before term because we gotta get into how you I don't know how you even got selected for that show so I wanNA know and that's going to be a funny I get a call from the network probably yeah that's probably what happened and how it turns you into kind of introverted yeah here's the thing though I figure that out because I'm at I've always been categorized as an extrovert and I have been on I'm on the bobby bones show for thirteen years in half and in the beginning like we started in one market it's like fine you're in one we were in Austin Texas once like it's like uh-huh Austin and facebook was just now getting big there was no instagram there was no twitter there was you're on the radio so it wasn't very visible we'll like nobody cared what you looked like we went to work in our pajamas it was fine it was three. Am like you put your hair up you went to work morning drive is fine and then is our show started to grow and then bobby started to like escalate things in him even being on TV like you kind of just there's this shift that happens and then so then we moved to Nashville and now we're like I don't know I'll over one hundred markets and then we have different side shows that are like over one hundred fifty markets and then it's like a whole new it's a whole different the whole different thing but it started off very very very small like not nobody ain't nobody can't do it I it's like this hybrid between introvert extrovert where if you're someone I wanNA talk to or you have something that I want to talk about I'll talk your ear off right like just like we're doing now but I just don't have the patience for the the shallow conversations are the league the subs whatever the opposite of substance I'll say so here's what I was going that sometimes you need the recovery so when I first started we weren't like as like but it was still having to tackle and I never had rations for radio I met Bobby at a restaurant we became friends he brought me on as a friendly it was I had the I worked in sales I was radio was not radar being talking about anything on my radar but I was in I was I was an extrovert what people define as that because I shared so much but when you have to be on camera and you have to be on or me in a morning show especially in different capacities and now we have so much more going on I put so much out there my extrovert needs into recovery and that's what I saw on my weekends sometimes I can like hibernate and now that I have kids in well my husband used to be deployed a lot like he would leave there was some weekends where kids where I would go Saturday through Friday through Sunday and I wouldn't talk to a single human but it was how I refilled Eh some of my friends saw that will wear today me go or where is she or what's happening you're on like I'm just refueling I met a low and I need to like just hide and talk to anybody so that I can go talk for five hours on Monday morning it's good yeah I I need to learn how to be okay with telling people that I should read more about it because that's the thing oh so many people so much like you know it's it's it's interesting so that's cool that we're more we'll talk later about it or maybe I'll maybe I'll in email with questions because that's good because I feel guilty when I recharge but really like that's why I go home to my parents because when I'm in Delaware only the house so I just go to my parents house and Dan I don't leave and that's my like recharge but that's because I don't have anyone to.

"David so I also think the best looking couple babies are like she's they just had their second baby and they're like the most beautiful baby so actually Naomi and Matty time and then David was like actually it started with the marathon because he's like how do you feel about running and I was like I hate running war. PS If you're I mean are in eighth grade and so with a polaroid camera and it's kind of a Sarisi so are you going to put some of that so that's kind of was avenue so I that's kind of we're on the ground floor of being like what direction we're going to go in because I do have someone I saved at home my old recipes I think Scott Rei or something the treatment and night I'm dreaming that it is a really tough course but you and the what I'm GonNa do but it's it might might he's off what's in this original Cookbook Herber my dad's savers eighth grade Nia good inspiration no we're just gonNa published what I came up with an eighth grade it's got your taste maybe the the often cooking to me with science and so like I would make things from scratch and he loves to tell everyone I'm always like Paris kind of like Craig made a key lime pie from scratch that's what so he's like a big deal but he's like no it was awesome and stuff so I don't know maybe I'm doing yeah it's actually really good would have different like on the menu which I think it's fun to pull out and this is like kind of reminiscent like you pull up things like your mom has role cookbook and then this is something if you create something one day your kids will be like my dad had this cookbook and he named things that were special and yeah I was it was like Amy's beef tips something not that cute or great sounding in the like for ten years of my life I was kind of Vegan Kinda because I have goat cheese gosh right trying to the whole thing like I was trying to get pregnant because my husband couldn't hints are adoption from Haiti and I thought people might have made some money the people made money off of me like no other it's understand using dryer sheets because like one woman giving my Kalanick's told me the dryer sheets were causing infertility in women and see you can't that's that would be one of the one like situations where you can't give someone crap for it it'd be like I feel like you obviously would try anything whatever whatever judging low if there's a chance to to help it why would you not right but point in your cookbook like you could have certain things like I think it would be cute to have stuff dedicated to your parents or little Craig or Craig Eighth Grade Crag or it's just that it's like like special because that's what's funny little I was always Little Craig is my dad's name he goes by Craig's junior but I was always a little bit now we have a little shop named his dog Greg and so now that's a little Greg's now when I hear Little Greg I'm like are we talking about me or the dog and how you know so convoluted there was so after we watched the reunions part one this morning when I was blow drying my hair I was going to try to watch like an episode from the season just so that I felt a little bit dialed in and my Hulu was freezing up but I was trying to watch that episode of Chef with the dog and I think the title of it was like New Craig who disks or something and I wouldn't play kept freezing so yeah the Q.. This season I would be okay like I added decent season this year some seasons I would prefer this was actually the first year I want I was able to watch well let's get into this first part and then we'll get into southern charm but with you know kind of just I love the I thought we were just going to talk mostly about I was like what else is going on while he has sewing down south but you have like a lot going on we and we have if you guys Charleston we did joined the restaurant groups you just open a restaurant so it's a big yards a funnier wet like what what is your involvement in open I mean restor opening a restaurant is no small feat no bad for a long time I would go home and bartend in the summers and again with my love of food it just kind of all worked so I used to be like the bar manager at a restaurant home during the summers in the Eastern Shore Delaware's where everyone from Maryland and DC and stuff comes in the summer so we would make a ton of money by just going home and bartending the summers between college and then in Law's goal so what's the name of the restaurant's gone so it's Emmy as you and it's Mexican and Sushi now I know it's pretty I love it and so we have this awesome chef that used a he's known around town in he joined the soup and we so half the restaurant is Mexican and half is Sushi and so there's something kind of for everyone it's got a good energy and you kind of feel like you're in China when you're Orange Tile I've never been to Charleston yeah so okay now I've always wanted to go I wanna go to Savannah and I want to go Charleston see I would go to Charleston Fur's okay here Springer Fall Fall this is the prettiest time okay I'm going November's November first is excellent and I'll actually be is your restaurant open then yeah I'm going go to Napa for work but with my husband and it was like a work like a they call it live in the vineyard in it I just had to cancel it because it's something else and I'm like I have to find something else fund the dots that you're actually there yeah okay well then okay so it works out that would be next yes I'm way more I'm way better with structure and staying busy than if just like left do nothing but go out yeah so happenings Oh well now that we've had a dip into your life and all the things like will will let's dip into what started you're not notoriety not that you wouldn't have been known though but I mean you got on TV that started like how reality happened so we'll get at that next I'm a total sheet SNOB I tried them all cotton bamboo linen but just discovered Eucalyptus veg sheets and all I can say is they are amazing eucalyptus is so much softer and cooler than my other sheets and it breeds which is perfect for me because I'm such a hot sleeper eucalyptus is also sustainable which I love and they're made by an awesome company get this called sheafs and giggles go to sheets giggle Dot Com and look for Eucalyptus sheets by sheets and giggles and I promise you'll be as obsessed as I am okay so when.

"I have heard of this and I was like oh I remember how to make pillow and so I made a pillow win and you make it wrong side out turn it right side out I was like oh my gosh I got this great feeling and so I started a youtube stuff and I made three pillows I was watching to go back to my leg happy movie thing as watching on TV oh my gosh my kids loved the movie The dance on cendant is going to be Gordon breakup obviously had the Disney on like I'm not GonNa Watch obvious so Catlike I on purpose kept and the picture Soma instagram but I kept three pillows in the picture and the sewing machine and then just made a joke about watching the descendants but I was actually fishing the see if people would want the pillows and bureau like Oh my gosh did you make them like we went totally by your pillow by pillars and that's kind of where it started and then I went from there gotcha Irene also when you when we do these things like I go and like a million different directions okay cool I have like I have I I I we'll we'll talk about this a little bit later because we're going to get into some adderall talk because I was diagnosed with Adhd and I've taken multiple things for it and then I know because I told you prepped for this interview by watching reunion part one from this season and that's where you also talk about a little bit of adderall stuff so we'll get into that later but like when you mentioned like gardening and your tools and different things and sewing thank you very like are you someone that cooks to you seem like you have a lot and I think on the where did I hear Mary we were kind of just like doing a little bit of research because honestly I had How much you watch the show I wish I don't know if it was on the reunion today or if we were looking stuff up no I'm being delayed could I felt bad that I once said watched more but a year and a half ago I became a mom and like all my reality. TV watching went out the window. I would prefer that you so I can't say that I was GonNa say not watch it and we get to know each other like this it's fine I don't know that much but where did it come up on the show that you're like me you told me a male Martha Stewart will that's the goal the goal is kind of yeah but I can't remember where I heard working on a cookbook right now to like I like so it kind of follows in her footsteps Okay so because I love to cook so I started cook in at the same time that I learned indexes so but I never saw until later I learned to cook in that same class like seventh or eighth grade and then my mom so much more to you than I thought craigslist there's a few layers I mean I knew that there was different things discussed but I didn't know you were gonNA get peel it back I had no idea you cooks and that will heard the male Martha Stewart thing somewhere but it was silly but it kind of I guess I've always been like crafty and like the a creative is kind of different than that needed create like I actually like making stuff but the cooking thing really came out after second season I oh so my mom was a teacher so I was allowed to cook the rule as I was allowed to cook anything I wanted as long as I cooked so I had like this I was very fortunate to have this freedoms like go the grocery store and are you after eliminate you perjure yourself from iodine so like an pretty much everything you find in the grocery store has iodine in it and she couldn't have it so I created unfortunately was home and was able to cook for her for like the six weeks of that process and through that I developed recipes because it's really not a fun diet and so that really forced me to learn like creative techniques from the way foods go together I don't know it was just something I could probably my eighty two I could obsess over that and dive into that and not have to think about anything else so for those six weeks I really learned a lot of stuff and you know coupled with the years before that of cooking decided to because again I team is very supportive to start doing a cookbook so so let's get this straight had a garden I didn't know that you have tools you can make stuff you so you cook for your mom has cancer like like this is awesome is like I did it nope broke up because I was like I feel I knew all about you so she knew that you were even in do so I mean we have that in common like having a parent that has cancer like it's I lost my mom in two thousand fourteen and you've actually you're we have a mutual friend David Nelson who is amazing and his wife Mattie she's the best them in Haiti but David played football when Maddie's just the sweetest they actually met in Haiti they have this crazy like story romance where you're just like why is this even real and then you how do you went to school together and then they I in the off season of one seasons I was like we gotta be doing more stuff I was like we have all of this time like we should get into something and she's like actually my friends thing in Haiti so I got on a conference call with David Mattia the they're very invested in Pinton Joyce so y'all war pimping shirts your your marathon run so well that's so David asks us to run the marathon oh art nfl player? Like I can't I'm like how this is bullcrap but we so we ran the marathon and then I wanted to go down in see you know what we were supporting and so then I went down to Haiti and then you're actually I met every member of your family in port-au-prince altogether today mentioned something my husband like you know David I think maybe he's friends with David he's on bravo my husband doesn't know Bravo so he has no idea and he's like wait I think I went to dinner with him when I was in Haiti and yeah so and then you went to the orphan Oh you definitely met my kids and then you yeah you're at the same dinner with my husband so yeah it's a small no it's great so who knows what we are we're talking about verse but I know I see I have learned because I've been doing the bobby bones show for thirteen years so I my add used to kind of control me it can go off but I know exactly what started this I've gotten better about bringing it back around which is I brought up that we have the whole parent with cancer and my mom she lost her battle in two thousand fourteen your mother and just wanting to I understand that desire of wanting to do whatever you can to help them and like in your case it was like going to find her food and Cook it for her that she could actually eat and then my dad is on account his own little cancer journey right now officially cancer free at the moment but still a lot of health issues we just moved him here to Nashville to live like an assisted living place to that he's closer but you know I think it's Ya now that I'm Mike it's very admiral especially for a guy that has so much going on to stop what they're doing and like care for apparent so and then learned that you have a skilled that you actually really enjoy and then to be able to like put that into a cookbook later so what would we see in the cook like is there any it's so I wrote a cookbook is the inspiration for this because Jerry Yang big guy so jerry was like wait like what news of my parents were like Oh yeah like he wrote a cookbook league eighth grade all this stuff so my mom is fishing that out and she's like oh I still have acing obviously doesn't want to cheat at all because you want the treatment work so I could do maybe a book about that chapter or just like I'm not really tastes ago but the picture quality of pleading food probably wasn't great so I think that's kind of awesome it might be like a fun thing at the back of the book or child you have to include those polaroid's probably only like ten beings or something my dad's favorites like everything I made it was I was like I love science yeah I yeah I mean it sounds good do you what so my dad is was an amazing Cook restaurant tour link we I was always around food he had restaurants and would cook all the time and like he I was like it was a nice room but I don't know he named things like my mom had a cheesecakes Judy's cheesecake but and then my sister was Christie's garlic fish or something and then I had read if you go gluten free Vegan acupuncture and Kalanick's you'll get pregnant it didn't work feeling.

"There's welders and CNC operators as well as administrative roles your job search starts today on express jobs or at Express Dash Pros Dot Com. take it hit close to home things I've seen in scenes I I don't know watched like I just don't know how you'd watch a movie where you know they're not gonNA end up dealing well some people need I was like you know what let's just say that you know it's I'm pretty sure our first pillow and there was the one that was inspired by my time in the Bahamas that all the proceeds for the next week or the Bahamas and the thing realistically I was hoping to raise about two to three thousand dollars and the first day our sales over twelve thousand dollars and it was it was awesome I think at the end we we sold several hundred of these pillows and the net proceeds that we're able to donate we're about twenty thousand and then with the pillow parties I was honestly against selling tickets because I thought it was kind of what's the word I want to be exclusive no I didn't want to be like I think it's do sheet tickets to come meet US I was like I'll never sell tickets it is a little bit but I do understand why people do it right no right right for me but I understand what you're saying at the beginning I was no so what my partner Jerry came up with was because for crowd control purposes we do actually have to have some sort of ticket situation and so now any proceeds from the first fifty tickets that so the the the first tickets that we do are you pay money for that all of those proceeds go to the Bahamas also so it's offered charity so I'm fine with that I just thought so my back is like China Weird and I'm like trying to set up and I kind of want a pillow can I have the crab pillow maybe oh we forgot to get a clap from our live studio audience it this is like a reunion special or you have people in the audience oh my gosh if our reunions were in front of a live audience were they not I thought there were people clapping piped-in later watch what happens in front of Oh maybe that's what I'm thinking of is Andy and watch what happens okay reunions are look this is not a commercial but I just put the crab pillow back behind my back and I already feel more comfortable and my friend Laura who's Ray Ray Ray is a producer on the bobby bones show and his girlfriend who we affectionately Call Bay Ray in bay she just text stood me. Omg Your with Craig so say hi to her she'll listen hey hey hey how she just said asked if you'd be my boyfriend just kidding just kidding she's taken she's we're actually waiting for ray to propose but he just keeps putting it it was like one of the main storylines on the bobby bones show right now is when are you proposing your girlfriend together six years uber with someone six years do you think that you would be ready yeah I think I was around like three I think three to three and a half years is a good title like the situation I was in I would've probably proposed sooner but was out of respect for the age of how all we were like We should be a little older but yeah I think time is like you either know or you don't so I'm thirty one now I was as well I was twenty but she was like twenty four and I think she wanted she had asked me before it was like I want to have my own career and become successful my own before I'm engaged early on I remember that because she didn't want to be dependent on anyone so has gone about respect for that but for me like that's kind of what I met with the short relationships as I won't stay with someone longer than thirty days of I like Divino that we're not gonNA end up together or not so there's two outcomes thirty days so yeah you I mean there's two outcomes if you're in a relationship you're the break-up or you get married and people hate when I say that but it's literally like that's literally the only two things that can happen or if someone I'd say we don't bring the crack yeah you're right that is a third option breakup suck and I just think it's wrong to lead someone on nine for selfish reasons just because you can't alone or you're not comfortable you know I think you're settling than Oh what if someone better doesn't come along like I guess I'm okay with staying with this and that put a lot of problems in relationships stem from people's settling so you know if I like someone a lot I have no problem being in relationship or staying with them but you know I think if together for over a year you probably you're either now scared to break up because you don't want to deal with it or you want to get married so Israel but the Vase I love it yes ray you hear that so with the southern arm with sewing down south with you know there's things you probably have going on in your life it's probably hard to find time to maybe even are you feel like you're constantly go especially with the pillow parties which we should mention that's why you're even here in Nashville and you came over today was because you're here because you're having a pillow party tomorrow kitten so we prerecorded this you're hearing this before this party but you're doing these pillow parties all over the country and then how when this doing different rounds something to keep doing or you have kind of you at a time though we this is our second round I think we had nine stops on this round yeah it is and I think we we he kind of took a book signing model and revamped it into what we're doing now and it seems to really working and as long as people want to come I love doing it I love him traveling for a reason instead of like you know you know for the heck of it like I travel these places and meet all these people and hear their story he's and it's really kind of turned into a thing and I'm excited to continue doing so yeah I don't know people find out about a pillow parts so we announced we put it up on my instagram and are slowing down South Instagram Next week we are in Aberdeen North Carolina and we live y'all me so close to southern Pines so my husband was in the Air Force Station at Fort Bragg and Aberdeen is like ten minutes from southern Pines nobody how did you choose Aberdeen because nobody in my life ever knew where Aberdeen wise or southern by Pinehurst which a lot of people know for golf but but oh my gosh I have to send you ought to if you're looking for a place to go eat the nicest restaurant in southern Pines like third of we'd love to because after party we go out for like a really nice dinner and you're going to chef Warren you seem really happy about this I'm happy about no because I'm like what you're GonNa Average which I love shout out to anybody listening but it's just it's smaller town and North Carolina this formula that we've come up with which again my two partners INC team is they've brought us to where we're at today but they adopt opt in this model where instead of going to the big cities where a lot of like professional sports teams would go or like big concerts or performers they we go to these kind of like forgotten towns that are like twenty to thirty miles outside of the big cities so the people from the big cities still come by the town's it turns into basically giant block party from Raleigh will drive down and it's and so we've done these parties where they're like you know this is an again in a I can like not just a matter of fact way they're like we haven't had like a party this big and a few years and so we he's have a musical element and we have an alcohol vendor and food and time yeah and so everyone sometimes you have to wait in line for a little bit of time but each person I spend a couple minutes with and we do like individual pictures in group pictures I signed the merchandise you get and everyone seems have a great time and now people have started become friends in line which is become a thing and it's Kinda just brings the community together so we are doing like the east coast Alan them will probably do Florida and Texas and like Midwest sort of and then all the way to the Mississippi probably early next year so all you have to do if you WANNA find out is slowing down south on instagram Craig's instagram or like right now I just typed in sewing down south dot com people may not know that's where you go where you can find an awesome beanie if you want to date Craig in the future eventually or the pillows like the Flamingo lumbar pillow. Oh Mary I might have to get you the Flamingo lumbar pillow I know I got you the crab one but this is this is new this wasn't up here when I shopped this new that's our new best seller out this is not your house we have them down so it's funny because amy's neighbors basically down the road are my partner and her husband small world we just Matt but we're going to be and so we have those pillows of the House I think only yes yeah we'll yeah we'll bring one over it all go like okay I'm obsessed and then you've got hats and totes and all the things so people can check that out if they want to see what you're up to you what you're doing and I have to say I'm proud of you all like really legit and yes I ordered one came in gave it as gifts like it's really great quality think like Mary so sorry guys let's say so do you watch the show I haven't okay I haven't lately I did a long time ago but to prepare for you coming I watched season reunion part one from this season but I had not watched the season or last season so I know we did you I know that I saw you sowing at some point but I think you were like with Naomi so it was a while ago so I kind of put viewers like it's a rollercoaster awry with me fortunately we're on you know a great place right now but there are definitely times that I was probably frustrating to our fans out there but I started sewing when I was still Naomi and I wanted to make clothes and I figured out that was very difficult when I when alien I Gob I had to leave my garden and my like a workshop in the garage I'd bill behind an apparently it's been explained to me that I have this like desire to create or there's like I give film out of creation and it's like coming from a therapist yeah it was like the Go-to that time or coaches and then I Taylor so I've heard it from someone in a made sense do you know your any Graham number just curious no wait is that the a I'm an entertainer I know your number no I'm trying to think of what it's wrong for people to guess people's numbers because we talking about wrong test is numbers one through nine oh no I don't do it okay so I didn't mean I'm an entertainer is that other dog and he was a debater cameron was a sympathizer or something then I was entertainers something okay. uh-huh and then also I didn't know you had a garden you just casually also leave your garden tools might've and then it was brought to your attention that you have a desire to ignore that was I learned that later to explain staying in a friend's house actually who I ended up spending time with the Bahamas They have a house in the same community as me in Charleston had because they were in the Bahamas I was waiting for the closing it the house I had my sewing machine but I didn't know how to make anything but in eighth grade we had who max so we spend half the year learning to cook and half the year learning to sell and Ms Hurley as my teachers.

"Joy in a life hours thirty I was pretty beautiful back a little mouth sites I kick the happy Halloween finally my interview with Craig is going up Crag can over from southern charm and he's awesome and knocked forever I'm just setting this up this is the longest podcast that I've ever done and I think it just because he was so cool like Kinda surface the on TV but actually Qalat of depth to him and he's got a lot of layers and found him to be very interesting and he kind of had friends over and I had friends and family over and we hung out for hours and we recorded a lot of it so yeah that's what you're gonNA listen to is our little chat so a big thank you to Craig for coming by and having this very long chat I mean pro tip might be listen to this on like the faster speeds you can get through it faster or maybe have a long run on the treadmill or you got a lot of laundry to do or you got a long drive somewhere you can listen we may break it up within like a few days and listen to it all but I hope you do listen I hope you enjoy it and I'm not going to do an intro like an email shoutout at the end just because it's already too long I'm just doing a quick intro here but I just will get a shoutout since I'm not gonNA do an email shout I'm just GonNa give a shout out to all of you who have listened to cast and supported it and posted about it and subscribed and maybe rated and reviewed and maybe sent me emails encouragement or maybe sent me emails of constructive criticism either way you're part of it you're part of the group and you're part of it growing and we're about to celebrate a year of this podcast and it's kind of crazy so my shoutout to all of you so big thank you for that Oh in speaking to Craig because it makes me think of Y'all and Y'all also support what we do with the SPA and four things and pimp enjoy we may do a four things pill lab with Craig because he also makes pillows you'll hear about that in the podcast but kinda crazy so if you have any ideas of what the things we could on a pillow with Craig that would be amazing because I think that that would be super cute we are adding dish towels to our line and then we're still working on our gratitude aw to place orders for certain things you're waiting on the journal don't I mean I think we're going to have it available by Chris had a few hiccups and Mary and I just want every we always want everything to be perfect up to our standards and some things warrant when we got the proof in the mail. ooh This just isn't what we pictured this isn't right this isn't our quality so we're working on earning that out and but so if you want a customized for things Chris pullover get that order place because you want to get it before Thanksgiving because you wanna be wearing it and again we only have a limited amount and we're starting to run through that capacity like production wise for those shirts I need even text Mary we may even be through it pretty quickly but or sometimes Mary's awesome and she's like well guess what we were out but I found a way to make more so I'll keep you posted if we find way to make more radio me dot com where you can find anything a spa four things pimp enjoy all that stuff so if you have Christmas shopping to do now that Halloween's Kinda getting now the way and you're headed into Thanksgiving and trying to shop We we have a lot of stuff that we love from like pin joy stuff are star necklaced already mentioned some of the stuff no but there is cute things so definitely go check it out and you can give gifts that give back and have meaning and we just again that's another Ame also saying thank you to you because Y'all we see the support that y'all give that and it's pretty amazing so thank you for the podcast love the SPA love the pimp in jail we love it does not go unnoticed so with all that said let's go ahead and get into this Craig interview which might be the longest podcast best of well it is it's a long as podcast I've ever done here I am this is fine I think you're our first do you call yourself even a reality star absurd term but you are on a reality show and that's what made you famous so I see that the this thing is sometimes known but famous is so famous is not what it used to be famous with instagram and all different things like sometimes I go to instagram and there's people on there with two million followers and I've never heard of fame used to not be that way you're the Michael Jackson or prince people knew who you are or you're famous in your own little pockets and like as yeah I just don't feel worthy of that term yet but I mean I guess you speak the I mean I guess we are pretty well known at this point after six six years it's it's a lot and even if you didn't Watch Jersey shore you kind of knew who they were gym Tan laundry I mean so now it's so a point where like feeling we're recognizable in a lot of places that we go fortunately everyone's really friendly and we haven't hilarious following the goal is to bring a male following over to Bravo and it's kind of worked and it's really funny like our guy followers I will say the pictures for their wave or you know that they pick and then you know so it would be like your wife I know I totally watch it when she still at work and get in trouble and then of tackling haven't seen it and it's like okay well so just as people know for my intro um which I do before we sit down Craig is here and from Southern Charm obviously use them interesting that and before we get into the four things which the first thing going to get into today is about so down south and this amazing business you've created but before we do that we're going to do a quick little rapid fire put McEwen A up on instagram people were sending in their questions and one that's on here multiple times it will just dive right into that especially thousands happening right now is what's what's the deal with the painted fingernail okay so my nail is for the policy and campaign and it's something that I saw when I was in the Bahamas last year on the Internet and I've always been kind of drawn and attracted to doing things a little aesthetically different and the story was great new represents one out of every five children that's abused never reports it and the story wise basically if you go to the website and read about it it's kind of a long story was pretty great and the guy that started a little girl was painting his nails one day blue at an orphanage and he found out the story about her why she had been moved from her past orphanage and it's such a tragic story that He always kept one painted blue to remember that girl and so you know it's got a good reason behind it and I often laugh and joke and saying it's also an excuse to paint my fingernails which is fun for me but right now his finger is one finger is painting and and what happens is the nails sparks conversations and those conversations kind mark awareness and that awareness leads donations and so I remember after the show aired this year there was an article that came out and it was like why does I paint one of his nails or something and it's like because in the last three days twenty articles were written about Craig's nail which then leads to awareness and conversation so kind of works out sense another one that I'm getting a lot of is is he dating anyone I'm not currently dating anyone I am I'm single I've been traveling plot which has been fun and I think there's a healthy healthy way to have relationships Lake shore term relationships where you know you just Kinda hang out and become friends and get each other and it's not nothing too serious but I'm open for whatever Element Person Yet here's your favorite cast member southern trying to film with a Cameron actually the coolest Cairns Awesome I mean I love everyone but it came in uncanny and I have a lot to get a lot of other will you ever practice law I'm not against it you know there's a lot of stuff going on in my life right now that prevents me from doing that I just don't have the time but I would love to do pro bono work if I do have you know some spare time coming up and what is your first round draft pick for beer like if you had to pick all time favorite beer I drink armed as well so the beer is I'm a bud light guy real yeah drink right now I'm in this weird red bull Tito's and sugar free rebel phase when I'm going out I do like a good permanent drink but I'm a big Ri- big wine guy so like on flights I drink wine nice you brought a bottle of wine hair in case and so in down south beanie which hasn't been released yet coming soon do like I'm GonNa Fall in love with like any Grassi wearing that as were Oh okay I see none at all the girls right now oh I really like I think girls are really cute in any and I and I like the one that we came out with it is very cute and then this is interesting an if you could have dinner with anyone known like you know racing famous as relative but if you can have dinner with anybody maybe that you don't really know but would love to get l. who would be the question president got another reality Star I guess he's just gotTa stick with got in I don't know it's kind of funny but popped into my head was Ray Lewis and Chris Pratt and let's see what's who the girl that was a famous actress name obviously there's a bunch of them I mean no no the girl from the hunger games Oh cadmus would be catnip what's her name overlords Jennifer Lawrence Chris Pratt and Raila did you read hunger games I did not watch the movies or watching movies I was obsessed with it I made all my friends do a Bradley Cooper reenactments Silverlake did you like silver lining playbook movie Bradley Cooper is amazing did you watch shallow Ed thanks not called shallow I know what you're talking about the song shallow no I won't watch the sad thing movies that don't have a happy ending and I knew Ackley where I was going to go that 'cause movies and TV are like an excuse for me I liked the happiness from it and no no I've always been that way I I don't watch things to be sad like I liked the happy ending so I like cheesy movies or whatever but yeah as long as there's a happy ending then I like it outside music I'm okay with sad music as long as it got I don't know it Zimbabwe me as much but like you know there's times in your life that you definitely have to stop listening daily Taylor swift altogether like some of her albums are they had the home that's what gets you valid no the Lady Gaga N- Bradley Cooper Movie without being sad but I feel like the the business that I'm any even though it's reality TV I feel like I would've just connected a little sad art in a way we'll call movies there's different forms of art but that to that brings out that emotion that they're not otherwise able to do some people need sad movies so then he can cry it's not because they're trying to avoid crying but otherwise they don't allow themselves to feel so are you a guy that can do do do you express your motion like do you have double so I think you just answered it I've never thought about it this way I'm a extremely empathetic person like my issue is pretty high and so I relate like like I put myself in the position of the characters in the movies so I'm feeling what they're feeling basically and that's like too much for meal times so I am I over empathize with the characters in the movie and so I can't kind of distant it's just yeah so I would be the opposite where I would have trouble distancing myself from those emotions and kind of keeping them in yeah no that makes sense another comment that came in on here with someone wasn't really a question it was just a shoutout saying so cool that you're able to cut a check for over twenty thousand dollars to the Bahamas so this'll be are a little transition into sewing down south and that's how you're able to do that and I think the official number right now is about twenty eight thousand ish Blay who knows probably when you saw some more beans just kidding because you had specific products that were going to that right was at one particular pillow or we we you know I reached out to my two partners during Amanda and I was like Hey let's do something for it because I storm actually went directly over where lived summer a lot of my friends and Beasley people I consider family were affected greatly and so.
