"On W Video, One of 73 of feminine 5 80 Orlando's news and talk 844580 Wdbo. If you want to join a 4458093 to 6 to Joe calling in from right here in Orlando. In the meantime, Joe what you got? Hey, thanks for taking my call. No problem, Joe. Um, just got a problem at 2015. BMW x five I turned on the A. C. Nothing comes through the lights Come on, but the compressor is not working. The fan is not blowing It was working a couple of hours before. I don't know what went wrong. Yeah. Um, let me tell you, Joe on that there's a lot of things that can cause an issue. Uh, you know, parts wise. But I'm going to tell you there's a technical service bulletin on this car and, um You know, you might want to write this down. Have you got Have you got a pen handy? All right. That happened. Okay, Listen, I want you to write this number down. It is, s ah! B as in boy, 64. 12. 16 Now this technical service bulletin. It describes exactly the problem that you have, uh, a C not blowing, compressed or not coming on. And what it is. It's a failure of the software, the the actual download or the programming of the climate control unit that's in your car. And you know this one here this is this is what's got to be done before anybody does anything on this vehicle, and I'll tell you why BMW says point blank that There's not a part period that will repair this problem. You have to have that climate control unit that module reprogrammed If you don't you have to do that. First is what I'm telling you. If you take it somewhere, and they say, Well, you need a compressor and you need a condenser fan and you need a and then you know, an interior H V A c. You know, Blower motor and, uh, they start throwing stuff. Don't put one part on that vehicle until you have had this, Uh, this update this re flash done on that vehicle. If not, it's probably all going to be in vain because it won't work what it is, somehow or other. This software literally goes bad. It loses the the unit loses that programming after a certain period of time, almost like the software was built with an expiration date. Believe it or not, When I started reading this, I'm like, that's the craziest thing I've ever heard. You know, you'd think Microsoft had to be involved with this one always wanted to sell you something else, huh? But that that is what has happened with this, And the bottom line is the correction for what you're describing. In 99% of the cases is reprogram the computer system in the vehicle and which addresses the climate control unit as well. But even if that doesn't fix it, I will guarantee you one thing. It had to have that update. Regardless, So let's start with what we know is being the most common problem with what you're dealing with. And you've even got the TSB number. Now I'll tell you what you can do. You can check with the local BMW dealer. Find out what they will charge you to reprogram that control unit and if it's absolutely ridiculous, Uh, you're more than welcome to give us a call it magic mechanic. We do have an outside source, Uh, that comes in and re flashes and programs, BMWs and Mercedes for us. So if if I can find out what your cost would be on that if BMW is ridiculous if they have the software and stock and it's not no big deal to flash your car and a reasonable bombings, let him do it. You know, maybe there's a technical. Maybe there's a recall of some sort of special policy adjustment. I'd call him and find out. Um, but if it's something really crazy, ridiculous, expensive, Joe, uh, give us a call, and I'll see if I can get our outside source to stop by and do a flash on it one day for you if that's where we wind up starting But at least you've got a ton of information on your problem right now. And I hope that I hope to goodness that helps you out and save you some money. Right? Yeah. I appreciate that Call there, Joe. Let's keep rolling right along here and go to AJ calling him from Orlando. AJ Go ahead. Yeah. Imagine McCarrick. How's it going? Good. Good better since you're giving us a call. What can I do for you? 2000 and eight equal, Not the traction light Seeing it can't just go out and five years I've been working with the dealership and they haven't done no good at it at all. The second thing is the brake light comes on when we try to light comes on. And the last thing is that the tail fan that they put all But the tail fin started leaking when I took a trip up to, uh, theory. In North Carolina. So now ride with duct tape on that, So I need him. I need somebody that knows about cars, and I need somebody that you know. Second work on my car because I do I pay. You know, I have never. You know, I've been paying up to like $6000 for these guys in the dealership has taken me for around It's Asia. It's hard to find anybody to get to get anything done Nowadays. It's just a pain. Uh, I don't care if it's getting a refrigerator fixed or anything like that. It's just you know, it's either people don't care either. They ain't got enough people to take care of it. Or seems like there's always a problem. Yeah, listen, when that brake light comes on, and your stability control tracks control all that That all goes through your A B s module. That's that's what controls every bit of that. Um, you know me just thinking out loud. It's probably something as simple as a wheel speed sense or something like that. And if it's intermittent, it's very hard for them to maybe diagnosed, Um, what I would do is I'd put the tech to our scan tool on it and take it and drive it and see if we can't you know, get a variation out of one of the wheel speed sensors to see what's going on with that, most likely that's probably what setting your code. Just be careful in the meantime, especially on a wet road. Give yourself 20 is a distance. Anytime you have that traction control light a B s or break like, come on, There's a There's a good chance that your anti lock system may not work correctly. And on a wet road that could cause you to scared, maybe slide into somebody. So until you get that, uh, you know, resolved and get it at issue took care of Keep keep twenties of distance, especially on a wet road..

"Um, So if you do a fictitious name is a lot simpler, an easier But, um, if you do a fictitious name, you only have to renew those every five years. But then if you forget to renew it, then you lose it. So we help people with that to a lot of times like they just forget that they have to do that every five years so we could get it back for you. But it's easier kind of just calendar and remember it, um Also when you get a fictitious name, you've got an advertisement in the newspaper, which is super weird, But you do. Um There's legal reasons for that happen. Nobody cares. Um, you have to advertise it. I have it back. You actually do, because I mean, the whole idea between fictitious name is is like basically, um, so somebody could find you, if you wrong them that they have advertised advertising, like kind of put them out in the world because, like, say, you own a trucking company or something, And then you keep changing the name of it. You get in an accident that you change the name and then nobody can find you again like that's why you have to have a fictitious name just to keep people from just opening up all these names and then they can't Somebody can't find you. If you do something wrong, which again? You're like, who would do that? But, um, it happens a lot with crime tractors. I've had like pool companies do it. It tends to happen a lot with contractors. They will open a fictitious name and then just kind of like change. Switch the business to another business. Um, it's I mean, it's to try to save the consumer, which did you think about it like that? It makes a whole lot of sense. But that's why you advertise it. Kind of like to make a paper trail to help show who owns each name so that somebody could come find you. If they have to got it got it That does that. That does make sense because you can kind of just play a shell game there where you just change the name over and over again, and then people will eventually Give up. So if if you have to renew this now, you said, if you're if you're renewing for your business, it's once every year for a fictitious name is once every five years. Is this something where it's just on you to remember it? Do you get some sort of a warning or a reminder? Kind of what I need to renew my tat like if if the city didn't didn't send me a letter saying, Hey, it's time to renew your tags. I never would. I would be getting tickets left and right. You know, nobody reminds you ever. So that's why so many people forget, um, when we had When we offer our business clients something we keep a huge spreadsheet and then, like we hound you every month until it gets done. Um And then, if you know, we still I mean, we're always here, But like I said, you are lying to get on a spreadsheet, but otherwise, no, there's no remembrance, especially with the fictitious name. It's kind of it's pretty easy to lose track of something After five years of year, three or four. You're not even thinking about it. So yeah, it's on you to remember. Wow, I would forget immediately. I would I would that would not work out. Well, for me. She is Jennifer angler from the Orlando Law Group. You have a question for Jennifer. Any legal questions?
