The point is when you go out in public, and you have no symptoms, you're you're asymptomatic. You can still spread the virus. So journal. You people have been vaccinated. So you should be safe. No, but we're not. And we know we're not because we now know hold on hold on their two issues here. One is you knowing that you've been exposed should be tested to see whether you have the virus. No symptoms required. You simply become a silent carrier. The second thing is, we know that people who were double vaccinated. Still are able to get sick. That's not the function of the U. N. There is no such thing as global citizenship. The United Nations. With all its great dream when it was founded here in San Francisco in April of 1945. "Is an independent party. That's a whole different matter. But in order to be a party and I'll tell you the thing that really really grabbed me. I covered the Republican National Convention. While sitting in this chair, your kgo Do you remember what happened? For the first time. In the history of the Republican Party. They did not adopt a platform. Don't, they said They said. Our platform is whatever Donald Trump says. And and that absolutely blew me away. And and I have to tell you that concerns me. They used as an excuse. The pandemic. And this is what they said. I'm going to give you the language. The RNC had the platform committee been able to convene in 2020 would have undoubtedly unanimously read to reassert the party strong support for President Donald Trump. And his administration. The Republican Party has and will Continue to enthusiastically support. President's America first goal. And finally, the Republican National Committee said the convention said that they enthusiastically supported President Trump and they continue to reject the policy positions of the Obama Biden administration. They were doing this whole thing by focus on the family, and it was the same thing. The only thing they care about is the issue of abortion. I listened to it with horror. Go ahead. I agree, And it's so awful because these people and it's a power and a money thing. They're making all this money and the power and they keep telling people this and to me it So, um Looks like a heritage because you're not supposed to do this. You can't sleep with the devil. You can't. It's like you laid down with pigs, and it's like I can't see why they don't have the vision to see that just because someone purports to have the same views you have on one issue. You and I have discussed this before, but I think that what this woman I think her name is Marjorie Taylor Green. That is correct. What I think she is symptomatic of a growing problem in the Republican Party and it's a very serious problem. They are getting so extreme. They have gone past going to the right. And they've gone into the crazy It's abhorrent that this woman would Claim that there's a Jewish conspiracy that's being launched from outer space upon California or anywhere else. It's abhorrent that she would attack the students, young people who are survivors of the vicious school attack where so many students were murdered, but unfortunately Led by Donald Trump. This is where the Republican not the whole party but enough of the party to storm the capital and threaten legislatures. And, you know, John, I honestly feel that the Republican Party the best thing that could happen for United States if it would disappear, and if they were Democratic Party, which split into the right part of the Democratic Party and the left part of it. The Democratic Party. I don't like what I see in the Republican Party. I don't like where they've been going for decades, and this doesn't even touch upon their constant attempts for voter disenfranchise of people who are minorities. This Republican Party has become abhorrent if you look at who they are and what they are, so I don't know how you feel about that. You often talk about reform for the Republican Party. This party has become so corrupt, morally and in terms of what they do to voters, right? I don't think they should even exist. I'm not talking about you or I or the government doing away with them. I am talking about people calling this out and pointing out as you do. That that's what these people are doing. It is, you know, reporters on evil. It's so bad. Well, all I can. All I can say to you is there are many symptoms that have to be cured. But I wanted to party system in this country that is vital and vibrant. And maybe I'm nuts. I I thought about that in terms of the Republican Party, the land in the Wilkie, the DUI, the Eisenhower, the Nixon, the Goldwater, the Reagan the bush that was a Republican party, which I could support or oppose. But this is a Republican party, which is just nuts. John. Why couldn't why couldn't a Democrat Party be split up into the right because they've gone really certain parts of Democratic Party have been pulled so much towards the center. Have gone towards the right like Joe Manchin and some of the other senators we have. Why couldn't you have the Democratic Party essentially represent two different Desires or two different. Well, What you're talking about, really is a liberal party and a conservative party. That's what you're talking about creating and the Republican Party. Theoretically, I don't believe it's true. It's supposed to be the conservative Party on the Democrats are supposed to be the liberal Party. I have to tell you.
