Sen. Ted Cruz Erupts on Reporter's Democratic Talking Points at Border

"I'll share with you the frustration of senator Ted Cruz. He got real fired up. He's at the border, and he got into a one on one with somebody who was challenging him on the Republicans and the and the border. Listen to this. Let me ask you something. Let me ask you something. What rate of alien immigration do we have in 2020? But you have the thing. I asked your question in office. Do you know anything? How long have you been in? I've been in office 11 years now. I think the calendar in multiple administration accepts your okay, you don't get to argue with me. You ask your question. You ask your question. You don't want to hold a press conference. You can do it over there. You want to hold a press conference, you can do it over there. How are you? So hold on. I'm going to answer his question. The talking point of the Democrats, which this media reporter happily parrots is gosh, the problem can't be fixed. There's one little problem with that it is an utter and complete lie. In 2020, the last year of the Trump presidency, we had the lowest rate of illegal immigration in 45 years. You ask what have I done? I've championed the men and women of border patrol. A champion securing the border, a champion remain in Mexico, and we turn this problem around and solved it and we went from Joe Biden inherited the lowest rate of illegal immigration in 45 years and the first day in office. He made political decisions to cause this problem. And you should be ashamed of yourself because you're a reporter and you're not reporting facts. You're telling lies.

The new clip shows the uniform female police officer standing on a busy sidewalk at 231st street and Broadway in king's bridge around 2 p.m. yesterday. Suddenly, 45 year old Jose Garcia walks up behind her like the filthy coward he is and slams a bottle on the right side on the side of her head. He then charges at her and swings at another officer. America's Great Awakenings With Dr. Jerry Newcombe

"Doctor Newcomb, how many awakenings are revivals have there been that are notable in American history? And when did they occur? Well, you could define it in different ways. But I would say in terms of the real big pictures, being changed Kennedy, who will just mention the founder of BP independent ministries and noted author and so forth. Said in the big picture of things, we looked at it this way. America was born because of the first great wave of that was in the 1730s and 40s in America, okay? And that helped propel really the whole course for independence. Then the second major great awakening was in the early 1800s. And that pretty many people started to about the evils of slavery and the inconsistency of having slavery with a country that's based on the idea that all men are created equal. And it really helped for ultimately the end of slavery. Obviously, it happened through the Civil War, but there was a great deal of push for that. And then he said, doctor Kennedy, now we are in need of a great third rate of will you pray for that. Now, obviously, Charlie, we've seen many different sporadic weight gains, even in our own time, business in the last couple of weeks. This amazing event at asbury college and I remember about 20 years ago, there was like that at Wheaton college and my wife and I met and we graduate school about 45 years ago by God's grace. It was so grateful for that. But anyway, so there have been these little movements, but I would say, I kind of tend to agree with doctor Kennedy that in the big picture you're looking at the first great awakening, the second great waving and now the need for a third great way to

Tom Brady Says He's Retiring 'For Good'

"Tom Brady announced announces his retirement from football for good. A 45 year old NFL star posted a video message to fans on Twitter. He said, I'll get to the point right away. He said you're doing a message. I'm retiring for good. Now, I think he retired for good a little too late. Or maybe it was right on time. When your wife leaves you and it appears that you pick football, not you, it appears that your passion was the play another season and it appears from the outside looking in that the wife was not okay with it. He did it anyway and it became a strain in their relationship. Maybe it has been a strain over several years to be honest, I think that you got to be such a trashy woman to leave your man because he's pursuing his passion. Now I don't know if that's the case here, but it does seem kind of weird that she leaves him in his last year planning NFL and then now he officially retires. I think it's a good thing. Maybe he played long enough. He's giving his life and his talents and his time and effort and energy to fans more so, you know, more so than your family. You can't spend that much time with your family when you're gone all the time traveling all the time, playing for different teams. You know, you got to study fam. You got to go to practice. You got to get rehab. I mean, being a football player takes a lot of energy. And people may not understand that. They don't just show up at the game and have fun, right? You got to watch film for hours as a team. And then if you watch film as an individual, you're watching film even longer. And when they play when they play a football game, 60 minutes of punishment, they have to go to rehab. When I say rehab, I'm not talking about a psychological rehab, which some of them may have to go to psychological rehab. But they have to go to a physical rehab. I mean, you got to get massages, you got to get stem on your legs, you know, you have to get all of these different things to make sure you're operating in full capacity. So it's a very significant strain on your family on yourself. And I think that when a person of football player dedicates his life and craft to the game, his family take a hit a little bit.

Where Is the Line Drawn Between Caring About Appearance and Vanity

"Having said that, explain to me something, I'm not sure it has an explanation. So, and I admit this is a generational issue because this was not when I was your age. Nobody wore ripped jeans. Do you have an explanation for why that is appealing? I don't. This is not especially profound, but I just think it looks young and I mean, there's obviously there's gradations of ripped jeans. Well, no, no, forget, but chatter jeans, I think, are all right. Weird. But by the way, I'm not attacking them. This is not a no, I know it's not. I know. Befuddlement, it has to, it has to have an origin. So you see it and your first word was young. So if a 45 year old woman wore ripped jeans, I would find that to be odd. That is there anything else a 45 year old woman could wear that you would find odd? If she wore a shorter skirt, and she had the legs to do it, let's say. That wouldn't be. In other words it would depend on the length, like a really obvious. But a short skirt? No. Right, exactly. So the only reason I ask is, can you think of anything else that is solely in the province of a young woman? In clothing. You mean that a 40 year old didn't wear? Yes. I do think it looks a bit undignified when an older, not the 40s old. But when an older woman wears something that's really tight skinned or shows a lot of their breasts or sometimes and the shows that we live in LA because I never saw this when I lived in Boston, but in LA, sometimes I'll see older women wearing crop tops. I think that's undignified. I would not do that when I'm that age.

This show is all about highlighting and celebrating veterans and their families all over the country and sometimes all over the world. We also like to highlight some organizations that are helping veterans talk about some kind of general things in the news and then answer questions on how we can support you and dealing with dealing with the Via A little bit about veterans law group like I mentioned we've been working for about 25 years working with the veterans. Our staff is made up of primary, primarily veterans, military wives and family members, So it's really kind of awesome that Most of the people who work here. Know what you guys as a family have been going through as you've been pursuing the transition out of the military or onto becoming a veteran. Tonight. I am really excited to have Gretchen Smith. She is the founder of Kodo Vets nonprofit organization That's providing all kinds of support to veterans all across the country. And I'm going to let her tell you all about that, but I've been following Koda vets for a couple of years and extensions, Twitter conversations and I just find it really quite impressive to really being hands getting your hands and feet dirty. In helping veterans in a very practical way. So, Gretchen, thank you so much for joining us. Thank you for having kind of bets on the air and sharing our mission, Amanda. The more awareness we can grow about what we're doing is it's all the better for veteran community. Yeah, absolutely. And this is you know, broadcast across Southern California, but also we pushed it out to people all over the country, so it's going to be kind of exciting to see what kind of results that you get. Generally, What I like to do with people who are coming in as an organization is kind of, or even somebody who's just interviewing as their experience with being in Afghanistan or their process with the through the V, A. Is get a little bit about background from you of you know where you served, how you served how you got into the military, and I know that there's a story about your dad. And there too. So I'm going to let you kind of introduce yourself a little bit on a Veteran side if that would be okay. Oh, absolutely. I'm an Air Force veteran. I served for roughly 4.5 years. Three of those years were over in Ramstein, Germany overseas, and I just, You know it was a fantastic experience for me. It was It really helped give me a solid foundation and a great way to start out my adult life. I grew up in a dysfunctional setting in the mountains of North Carolina. So You know, I like to say that I wasn't great for the air Force at the time, but the air force was, you know, the right thing for me and the tools and just the traits instilled, Um, throughout my time of service just really helped me to evolve and grow into the camera stable and to be an asset to our thing to our nation, And I was able also to, you know, come meet my husband overseas. We got married. We've been married for 27 years, and once we got out, we used to go Ended up with four degrees each and just created, you know, our version of the American dream, and we like to give credit to our time in the air Force. Um, it just really was a springboard for our adult life. Um, and fast forward 27 years later, you know, my my dad was a combat vet. Uh and he served two tours of duty Bronze Star recipient. And came back a very troubled spirit. And I always say that that's chaotic behavior on the outside was a direct reflection on how he was feeling on the inside, and we did end up losing bad his battle with PTSD, which is the inspiration of kind of bets. He is the reason why I'm out there every day, Um, pushing for veterans voices and just to make sure that our stories are told are journeys are shared in that we touch as many veterans lives, utilizing social media platforms. Uh and possible. And he's you know, he's just I can feel him with me every day. You know his spirit is with me. I know he's proud of what I've done this far. And, uh, he's just been with me every step of the way and I turned his tragedy into something powerful into something beautiful. Yeah, that's really amazing. And I were talking with Gretchen Smith, who is the founder of Kodo Vets a U. S Air Force veteran herself, Um, back to a little bit too a little bit about your dad. He served in Vietnam. Is that right? Yeah. Yeah, he was airborne infantry. Um, so he served almost four years in the military. And, you know, you know, you know, I wasn't born when this happened, and you know the family of spoken extensively extensively to my mom and you know his extended family, his brothers sisters. And he just was a different spirit. When came back. He just was totally different. And Dad recognized very quickly that he didn't need help. And he went to the Asheville via in North Carolina and was sharing with the doctor that he was out of control. You know, behavior was very chaotic, and just he was he felt like he was either going to end up in prison or dead. And and the doctor basically told him at that point that he had something that you know, they called shell shock, and, uh Just shove it way down deep, you know, and to basically, you know, suck it up and be a man. Uh, and he just was not the right advice. You know, I know we've moved forward. You know, we can maybe touch on this later, but I think we've made strides. Forward in that respect, But you know, when you share that with a soldier, he follows orders that take that to heart. And he never really did reach out to get the help that he needed again. And he carried those demons with him and Dad tried so hard, but in the end, he just said, uh, he just broke under the pressure and the the weight of his experiences of his combat trauma, and we lost him. And you know I get out there and I share that. And that's why I started caring about just started it as a Twitter page in 2017 to talk about my dad's journey and the struggles that he had and it and it is that and you know, I missed that every day, but as a result of the sharing his journey And and lack of care. You know, there's you know, we need to talk about consistency of care with the Via, Um, we we have saved lives. We have given veteran.

And I just thought it was really dumb. I didn't think we could go through life without buying a car without alone. Buying a house without alone, really doing anything without putting ourselves in debt for so it took him a really long time. Of keep trying to be like, Oh, we should do this. We should do this. You have to put something on that that certificate, So I'm gonna start putting hot dog on the death certificate. So you know, don't worry about what you're eating, or whatever activity your participation. Then you've got to put something on the death certificate. Dale, I hear you and I appreciate that. Thank you. Let me go to gym in Louisiana. Jim, Talk to me. Hi. Hey, sir, I think your math a little skewed Joe, because if I eat a bunch of tomatoes, which is a fruit going back down to 30 something minutes without doubt? Well, I don't know It's not fruit. You have to have peanut butter and jelly sandwiches will exchange your life. It's not just fruit. Purely. So if you're if you're eating hot dogs, you have to eat as many peanut butter and jelly sandwiches as hot dogs to counterbalance it. That's what the story said. Right carry. That is right. Exactly right. So it's not the fruit, Jim. Nice try, buddy. Those tomatoes are not saving your life. If you're eating hot dogs, you're you're done. Why? Oh, man. Death Mark. Kansas City. Talk to me. Hi. Hey, brother pegs. Hey, man, I love you. I love you shall love your parodies, man. You're great. Thank you. Hey, um, the the hot dogs, man you got you got to be a little science at home. You got follow the signs. You got throw a little, uh, chili and cheese on there. And that cuts it down to 15 minutes. No, no. If you put chili and cheese on there, it actually adds two months to tear to the death date. You actually lose two months off yard. You can put chili and cheese on there. This body a pouch. He told me if you put chili and cheese on it, then You only you're only cut in 15 minutes. Talking. Live only if you're vaccinated. Yeah, You forgot that part. Thanks, Mark. Appreciate you. So you put chili and cheese on the hot dog. He thinks it counterbalances it. No, I don't think it works that way. No. Let me ask you this because this sounds kind of be honest. It sounds delicious. Maybe just hungry. How do you smear some peanut butter and jelly on a hot dog? No, no, I'd rather put chili and cheese on a hard diagnosed not peanut butter and jelly. Why do you have a death? Wish? I really don't. I want to live went to live with chili and cheese on there. What's the matter with you? Or have ketchup have mustard? Yeah. No, no. That's disgusting. That's discussing yes. Polo or wasn't your boy Elvis? I was eating peanut butter and something sandwiches, peanut butter and banana sandwich. They were fraud. I think when you fry it, Yeah, That's yeah. In the banana on their exactly right. What about it? Jelly? You're good to go. And then if you put the banana in the tailpipe And there you go. I'm not gonna fall for that. I'm going to fall for the banana, the tail, But it's not gonna happen. So I carry what I'm thinking is we should all just like I have a big hot dog cookout. "Going on here this morning, but again, guys very active scene here this morning with a lot of developments going on as well. For now I'll send it over at a ginger with the latest on traffic with this situation. Good morning to you, Carlos. Yeah, boy. And of course, that situation that continues to develop. You see, it's still very active scene we would anticipate Some of the streets there in south L a to be closed off for a while. They look like some of the small number of streets, of course, but at neighborhood, you know it's going to be majorly affected by what's taking place there. We have a few things that we need to break down to in terms of the freeways always cover both of them right. But in this case, the five North right at Lake Hughes Road, it's a pretty serious situation with a semi the Korean down the embankment. And you can see that The delays are not here yet, And that's mostly because the off ramp is blocked. But the conditions will start to get a little bit busy if they don't clear this soon. That sounds serious with a big rig as well as of course, the situation without to get the heavy duty tow and then get this back onto the freeway and then clear it. Hopefully it will be wrapped up here in a little bit. At least north is not that busy right for 2 10 east right here at about Osborne Street to Wheatland. Those lanes are closed and they're going to stay closed until about five o'clock. So far, the conditions here they look like they're pretty good, but you can see that purple line would inch, which indicates a closure. We'll keep watching all these things as they develop because we get closer to a long holiday weekend and things will change here. With some, maybe better traffic conditions have set it over the air. Ginger. Thank you. Bill Cosby has been released from prison after Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruling overturned his conviction for sex assault. Britney Spears father will remain a co conservator over the pop star's $60 Million Estate, at least for now. L a County Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny ruled against request to remove Jamie Spears as conservator over his daughter's estate. This comes just one week. After Brittany's bombshell testimony about her father's conservative ship. However, this ruling was not a result of that testimony. Actually, this decision was made regarding a request from November of last year in which the singer's attorney filed to remove her father and at Bessemer Trust as sole conservator, which was denied yesterday by Judge Penny. Death declined to rule back in November, when the request was originally made. Legal experts say Britney and her attorney may not be on the same page about ending that conservatorship. She was unaware that she was able to petition the court to end the conservatorship. And she said that's something that her attorney had not told her. And then, when her attorney spoke on the record, he said that this is the first time that he's hearing from his client that she doesn't want to be under a conservatorship. In documents filed late last night. Jamie Spears claims to have had no power over his daughter's personal affairs for nearly two years. He also urged the court to investigate Jodi Montgomery, the co conservator on the 13 year case for Serious allegations Britney made in regards to forced labor and improper medical care. "More with former speaker of the House. Newt Gingrich is with us. Let me talk about the political Side of this earlier on the program we had on Nigel Farraj and CL Bryant and Nigel. I like Nigel a lot, and he's a fighter. You know, Ever since Brexit passed across the pond and took him 4.5 years, toe finally get it implemented and get that accomplished and over the finish line, and he's doing this tour about, you know, America's comeback tour, and he's saying, Okay, stop feeling sorry for yourself. Pick yourself up, stopping and angry and demoralized. Dust yourself off. The battle for liberty and freedom never ends and freedoms but one generation away from extinction, and I quoted that to him. And the reality is you have been able. There's three waves of conservatism in the modern era. And that's Reagan. You and Donald Trump. And the reality is they could be 1/4 wave or Or re engagement of the third wave, whichever way you want to describe it, but it's based on an agenda. That's gotta be the Make America First. Make America Great America first agenda. I think it's simple. I don't think it's complicated. I'm actually an optimist. If you could buy an administration doesn't cripple the United States internationally. We will win a huge election in 22. We will win in 24 because these people are so far to the left. You're alienating so many Americans. What kind of songs survey this morning 72% of African Americans favor school choice. Now that choses the entire Democratic Party coalition is starting to break up on. I think that's what we're up against is that we need to get through the next year and then the next two years after that comes the foreign policy. By frankly trying to find ways to limit the ability of the Bible by administration, uh, to cause trouble and to weaken the U. S in the world. That's what I worry about. "All right, more with former speaker of the House. Newt Gingrich is with us. Let me talk about the political side of this. Earlier in the program, we had a Nigel Farraj and CL Bryant. And Nigel. I like Nigel a lot, and he's a fighter. You know, Ever since Brexit passed across the pond and took him 4.5 years, toe finally get it implemented and get that accomplished and over the finish line and and he's doing this tour about, you know, America's comeback tour and he's saying, Okay, stop feeling sorry for yourself. Pick yourself up, stopping and angry and demoralized. Dust yourself off. The battle for liberty and freedom never ends and freedoms but one generation away from extinction, and I had quoted that to him. Okay, I'm actually an optimist. If you could buy an administration doesn't cripple the United States internationally. We will win a huge election in 22. We will win in 24. Because these people are so far to the left there alienating so many Americans, Okay? I just saw survey this morning. 72% of African Americans favor school choice. Now that tells us the entire Democratic Party coalition is starting to break up on. I think that's what we're up against. Is that we need to get through the next year And then next two years after that comes a foreign policy, uh, by frankly trying to find ways to limit The ability of divided by administration to cause trouble and to weaken the U. "On? Hi there. Sean just wanted to get to the point instead of pontificating. I have a short time and I want to be effective on my concern is number one is that we all know and we have been trained and we have been educated for the last 4.5 years of the behavior of the Democratic Party. Of that behavior is called the criminal element from the top down and in your face and have admitted so and behaved so in our face, therefore, why are we trying to make reason with a criminal and that's all of them, including the media. Therefore, we have to change our behavior because the only way you can change someone has changed. Change yourself. So the dialogue's got to change now. And you. John had mentioned that four years ago. Not all of all of you told the election. If we lose this election, we lose our country and you were so emphatic about that, and that's where I'm at right now. This is not a time that we can take and waste time. What we have to do is take action. And the action is is this is for the American people. The message in all of this from Donald Trump that I see it is to his initiate the original. Fire inside You is an American. I was raised in Japan for my from 5 to 15. I was educated in Europe and graduated in Germany. I was there, but my parents told me this You are not Diana. You are an American. And as you live in this country, you will live and you will represent America and be the best American. You can't and therefore I'm sharing with the The public. Sean Hannity's on it audience. You raise an American from the cradle to the grave. They get a social security card at birth from that you teach them and you read to them and you read the Constitution before they can even walk or speak. And by the time they're of age, they are gonna know their country on the thing for us to do right now, if we need to get involved as Americans and get down into our towns and our Cities. Diana If I keep going, I'm gonna have to, like, hold you for the next four hours. But I will say this Diana in Utah is talking about a call to action. Let me sum it up. Diana. All hands on deck and the battle for liberty and freedom never ends and the conservatism works. These air principles were preserving and principles worth fighting for and electing officials that advocate them. Is job. One. Great call. Appreciate it. Diana 809 41. "Weston Times. Trump's defense team during the impeachment trial will show clips of Democrats urging violence in 2020. Good for you. This again goes back to my Ongoing 4.5 year theory. Donald Trump Theory of liberal. Liberal mania. Why Donald Trump bothers the left so much? Folks. I've said this forever. Now, Joe, you can attest to this. My theory among Republicans have always bothered always always bothered Democrats and there's always been false charges of you're all Racists and white supremacy. We get all that we're used to that nonsense. But Donald Trump has Inflicted upon the Democrats a sense of Trump Derangement syndrome, as it's been called, that is far beyond we seen before with Bush. Even Reagan. Why my theory is this In the past, the Democrats have had this card, the race card, the identity politics card they played against Republicans, which is forced them to back down. Republicans who then back down apologized, and the Democrats have learned through trial and error that all they have to do our call Republicans racist. Remember that thing they had that internal listserv journalist journalist Look it up A bunch of media people in D. C. Had an email group. And they would talk amongst each other. And one of them. I forget who it Woz had mentioned. Yeah. Yeah, but, Well, you know when they fight back, just call them racist and a low back down. The liberal in the media admitted it and it got leaked. This was years ago. They knew that my theory about Donald Trump is Donald Trump would be called these ridiculous things, falsely, obviously, and instead of backing down, which the Democrats got used to hear me out He would fight back, viciously viciously call the media, fake news, enemies of the truth and all this stuff and that they had become a custom. Nobody puts baby in a corner and he would come out and fight back and Joe they didn't know what to do so they would respond the Democrats because they never had no alternate plan because it was never necessary. Y'all might explain his bed. If I am starting now you're cool. All Republicans get okay. More Republicans racist. They backed down. Take a victory lap in the media and move on and rub yourself and celebrate. This is so great! My God! Look what we did. Trump didn't care. He'd respond back within even bigger and better message. Then he had the last time that they called racist and crazy stuff. They didn't know how to respond because there never was a backup plan. So what would they do? It was a Saturday, Maxine Waters, get up in their faces and confront them all. And then Trump would call that out. And it made them nuts. Why did I bring that up in context of the impeachment trial coming up? Ladies and gentlemen, I'm getting behind the scenes word that The establishment kind of Liz Cheney class or whatever not suggesting Liz Cheney specifically, but the list Cheney class. Failure class the class that subscribes to the old George W. They want the Trump team, maybe to just apologize and Focus on a couple of election law changes in Pennsylvania. But don't dare fight back and call the Democrats out. And the Trump team is like double barrel middle finger. I'll have to use the index one for the family friendly folks. Double barrel middle finger. Now we're gonna point out what you guys Democrats have done calling for violence, calling for people to be punched in the face. To be confronted for crowds to confront people showing video of Antifa BLM, Maybe showing the tweets of Kamila Harris bailing out BLM rioters and terrorists who burned down cities. Remember that one? This is a brilliant idea. Why Because ladies and gentlemen, impeachment is not a criminal trial. If convicted in the Senate, which I doubt Donald Trump will face no criminal sanction from the Senate whatsoever. It's not a criminal trial. It's a political trial. Added a political trial. The gold is what The goal is to drain the political bank account of Donald Trump. I don't mean money. Mean, Donald Trump has a unbelievably high approval rating. Still to this day with the GOP, The Liz Cheney class knows that They want him to do things that will Break his image of a no surrender guy. They want him to surrender and break his no surrender renegade image. So he'll fail so his political bank accounts train. The fact that Trump's defense team is now going to go out.
