Expect big crowds for the summer travel season -- and big prices, too
"With the unofficial start of the summer travel season here, travelers are looking for ways to save a few bucks. Prices to travel overall are expected to be lower than last year, but airfare is expected to be 4% higher than pre-pandemic levels. Paul Bowen in Dallas is feeling it. Everything's more expensive, take it from our expensive, so it's kind of hard to fit more than one trip in a year at this point. Stephanie hanrahan is flying out of Dallas with her daughter. So dad and brother are gonna stay behind for this one. They're trip to Disney World for two, was the same price as a trip for four to California. Last summer. Usually you can save some money if you plan ahead of time, but that was definitely not the case this time. So we kind of just had a grit our teeth and say, okay, if we want to have experiences in memories, we're going to have to make the sacrifice and pay the price. Sheriff: Girl, 16, fights off mom to save a sister from being drowned after 2nd sister killed

Report: FAA overruled engineers, let Boeing Max keep flying

"Psalm chapter 37 verse four, the light yourself in the lord. And he will give you the desires of your heart. Is that not a great verse? It's a simple, glorious verse, this picture of delighting yourself in the lord. Even that imagery, one of my sons and I were talking this week just about all this imagery and the songs, there's so many phrases with such rich word pictures. And this is one of them light yourself in the lord. That's a command from psalm 37. The light yourself and God enjoy God. And he will give you the desires of your heart and really there's multiple directions that goes when you think about the rest of scripture. One God will put his desires in your heart. He will implant in your heart, his desires he'll give you the desires of your heart. And that what we want. We've mentioned it multiple times on this podcast that the secret to prayer is making your wants, gods wants, and then asking for whatever you want. And so to pray, God, give us the desires of our hearts put your desires in us and then for every desire that we have that comes from him, every desire that is in alignment with his word. We can ask and know that God will answer according to what his word says

"A new poll shows Democrats are split over whether President Biden should run for reelection. The AP norc center for public affairs research poll shows 47% of Democrats say they want the president to run. The number was only 37% in January and announcement from the president could come as early as next week, First Lady Jill Biden told the AP in February the president is running. He says he's not done. He's not finished what he started. Despite the ambivalence by Democrats in the poll, the numbers also show a large majority say they'd be likely to support the president if he became the nominee.
