"Its nuclear weapons arsenal make it as threatening as possible to deter an attack from the U.S. and South Korea, but also remember that from earlier this year we have a new South Korean president, the former was from the opposition party, the Democratic Party in Korea. There are always a little bit they pursue a more reconciliatory approach to North Korea. It can all just get along, then maybe we can fix the problems on the Peninsula, the ruling party now, the conservatives, the people power party, they take a much more aggressive, no nonsense stance toward North Korea. So South Korea at the moment now is really pushing to bolster military ties with the U.S. with Japan and North Korea sees this and if things right, we also have to make sure that our military capabilities are as strong as they can possibly be. And of course this creates a series of escalations and it's not clear who's going to back down first basically and hopefully things cool down before we see some kind of miscalculation where there are casualties involved and there are things that really kick off in a bad way on the Korean Peninsula. There is a determination by both sides, isn't that for there to be no backing down. In fact, you mentioned at the beginning of the interview. This thing is speeding up. Absolutely. And you know, we have to remember that over the course of Korean history, since the Korean War, the Korean War was obviously the big one where hundreds of thousands of people died from many, many different countries, but also there have been military skirmishes since then and every time they happen, they draw in a loss of countries from the attention of a lot of countries from the U.S. from China from Russia from Japan and there's always the risk that one of these military complex, even though they might only result in the deaths of I say only, of course, every death is tragic, but relatively speaking compared to the Korean War, even though it's a relatively small amount of deaths they can these skirmishes, these conflicts can there's always been the risk that they evolve into something more. As the capabilities on both sides of the DMZ in both North and South Korea as those military capabilities evolve, the potential scale of catastrophe also gets bigger and bigger. So where is the space or the scope for a cooling down? You know, we'll have to wait and see. After North Korea conducts its next nuclear test, which we think could happen any day now. They appear to have completed all preparations for that based on satellite imagery, South Korean intelligence reports. This is according to a South Korean lawmaker intelligence a couple of months ago suggested that this nuclear test could take place after Chinese party Congress, but before the U.S. midterm elections, which are right around the corner. So the nuclear test might be happening very, very soon. After that nuclear test, there are going to be U.S. South Korea, military drills, some of which I'm sure will involve Japan as well. There are going to be sanctions, and then after that we've got to see whether North Korea have North Korea will respond, are they going to respond with even more military drills, maybe more nuclear tests or are they going to suddenly open up and try and cool tensions down and try and open up another round of diplomacy, North Korea tends to go in cycles of building up to big missile tests and nuclear tests. And then suddenly, when tensions are just about to reach boiling points, they go for the diplomacy route and try and relax things and present to the world an image that if we all just talk out our differences, everything will be okay. And that stops things from the North Korean leadership's perspective from getting too dangerous. So perhaps that will happen this time, we'll have to wait and see. "Advocating them in order and I'm disappointed in that. What say you? Yes, because not only won't the Democrats commit to voting for Law & Order, they will admit that there's a crime issue. I mean, how can they commit to Florida if they don't think the crime is out there? I mean, if they don't see what's happening now, they're blind to reality or they just are afraid of this progressive base or you say the regression base within the Democratic Party, which seems to control their party primaries. No, listen, we have to get the message out. So I'm going to Republican all my life on my political life and I believe the Republican Party. But I've had very good relationships. You've been more of a common sense person than necessarily a Republican or a Democrat. Yeah, I was several years in a row. I was selecting the most bipartisan member of Congress. And I would fight hard to Republican principles, but when I thought the Democrats were right, and I thought we could form a coalition. I did it. I've never let partners stand in the way of getting things done. And with Kathy hochul, I had high hopes for Kathy hochul. I had worked with her in Congress. I thought she was going to be a mainstream, middle of the road, moderate Democrat. I wouldn't agree with her on everything, but I would see her as being a reasonable voice. Instead, she's gone further to the left than governor Cuomo ever thought of being self locked in with the progressive leadership in Albany and that's why even if people like Eric Adams, the mayor, he's saying very plumbed as a work. Keyshawn solo NYPD police commissioner came out very openly this week. You said that so called reform cash flow is not working. And yet governor hoku refuses to make the changes that we made. This is a real turning point. And I think in New York politics and Lee's elven, John, he started out 2 million votes behind them, which will be in more Democrats registered than Republicans. And right now, most polls have the race almost even post. I've seen having a head and those polls the underside of voters were almost all Democrats. And if you're the incumbent and you're in the Democratic Party and a good percentage of people in your party and that's certainly going to vote for, that means they're probably not going to vote for you or they're not going to vote at all. So this is going to be tight. Listen, I'm saying we are going to win, but again, we have so many Democrats out there and if they're not following this closely, they just may go party line about Democrats. We have to make sure that every Republican, every independent, every Democrat who wants to vote for law and I get out, vote themselves and also have their friends and neighbors and relatives and family members. Everybody else votes for Lee's Alvin. I agree with you a 110% that we need Law & Order in our city. We need Law & Order and our country. Thank you, Colin spring king, for everything you've done for our country and continues to speak out. Leftist Media Pretends Rubio Volunteer Was Not Violently Attacked

"There was a guy out there and I believe he's of Cuban descent. He was out there wearing a Marco Rubio T-shirt. He had a Ron DeSantis ball cap on, and he's just out there going door to door. Some punk thug animal stood in his way and said you can't come here. Republicans are not welcome here in this neighborhood. And he starts punching the Rubio volunteer. A couple of other animals show up and they start beating and kicking the poor guy has, they broke his jaw, they caused some incredible internal bleeding and there was also facing facial reconstruction surgery. That's how horrific the attack was. So the mainstream media, not only are they ignoring it. But you've got some of the leftist and folks Daily Beast, those people are sleaze. They're sleaze balls. Every single one of them. And they actually put the attack in quotes as if it may not have happened. Well, it did happen. And now the police are speaking out, they've arrested a second person. And the police will confirm what the mainstream media refuses to report. That this was all this all happened because the kid was a Republican. I got to say, my hand is off to Marco Rubio for standing alongside this young man. He's going to need a lot of help. You know, he's what 27 years old. Angels Ex-Staffer Sentenced to Prison in Death of Tyler Skaggs

"How many times have you sat down with a friend? Whatever, you make them at a party or you go to the house and they go, oh, my back, yeah, my back is out again, and I just can't, oh, I got a pill for you. Do you really? Yeah, I got something for you. You want to Vicodin? Oh, that would be great. Oh my God, thank you so much. We've all done that. Well, that'll put you in jail for 20 years. That's what's happening now. Now that makes you a murderer. Because a former media relations director for the Los Angeles angels was sentenced to 22 years in prison last week in connection with the overdose of the former pitcher Tyler skaggs who passed away back in 2019. And I know his death shocked the sports world, particularly when it was announced, 27 year old kid, chomped on his own vomit in a hotel room, and the angels had been scheduled to begin a series against the Texas rangers and the coroners eventually indicated that skaggs had a quote unquote toxic mix of alcohol fentanyl and oxycodone in his system and his death led to a change in the collective bargaining agreement between the MLB and the MLB Players Association under which the MLB PAO I can stand all these fucking I hate this bullshit. The bottom line is the guy wanted a pain pill. And somebody gave him a pain pill. And the person who gave him the pain pill is gonna go to jail for 22 years. I mean, tell me, guys, how many of us, how many of us have said, oh, I have something for you. Don't worry about it. I'll be I'll be at your house in an hour. Don't worry. I have Vicodin. I have leftover Vicodin prescription. I have a leftover percocet prescription. Don't worry. You can't do that anymore.

Who Would Kill Wanna Be Starlet Christa Helm?

"Today's show is gonna be about one of those women, an actress named Christa helm. Who never made it. Thought she would was absolutely positive. She was destined for stardom, but again, like so many people wasn't in the cards. But murder was. Christa helm was killed in February of 1977. Her murder still remains a mystery. And after she died, the love diary and the tapes she was warned not to make and definitely not to keep disappearing. So she was at 1.8 27 year old mother of a little daughter and aspiring actress who, like I said, would do anything or anyone for fame. But she came to an untimely demise when she was brutally stabbed between 20 and 30 times. On February 12th, 1977, in the street in West Hollywood, not too far from where the famous actors Sal minia was stabbed. In the street in an alleyway, and died. What would make someone commit such a senseless act of violence toward a seemingly innocent wannabe starlet.

Eric Shares His 'Socrates in the City' Conversation With Stephen Meyer

"Hey folks, you're listening to special edition of the airport taxes show. We are airing my recent socks in the city conversation with doctor Stephen Meyer. He then proceeded to explain that he was really moved to a point of thinking deeply about religious faith because whereas the evidence was pointing unequivocally in one direction, he didn't want it to be so. And then he began to explain that he began to think about, well, what is it about me that doesn't want this to be so? I've always prided myself on my objectivity. It was very compelling story in the very next panel. There was a similar intellectual conversion announced by a leading origin of life researcher who worked on this problem abiogenesis, named dean kenyon, and Kenyan announced on the panel. He also surprised people by sitting on the side with atheists and explained he argued that the discovery of the information bearing properties of DNA. Everything that crick had anticipated. Suggests that what he called the natural theological question should now be reopened by the philosophers. In other words, we may as scientists be looking at evidence for the existence of God in the inner workings of the cell. And so I'm 27 years old. I'm kind of blown away at this. It was clear to me that the Thea seemed to have the intellectual initiative in the discussion. That the people defending chemical evolutionary theory had nothing to offer except promissory notes that maybe we'll figure it out down the road. So I got really seized with this. I was working with doing digital signal processing of seismic data, which was an early form of information technology. And the thought that the discovery of information inside cells was the Holy Grail of the origin of life problem, just absolutely seized me. I got really fascinated with that. I met another scientist who was on the panel that day named Charles thaxton, who had written a recent book called the mystery of life's origin. He happened to be living in Dallas. I started having long conversations with him after work. A year later, I was off to grad school and realized I want to work on this origin of life

"I do appreciate the love that people have for games about a guy who's Friends with a little guy. There's a lot of games like that. Honestly, it is a really classic construction and it's funny because if you look at like, a lot of studios have this, but I think PlayStation specifically has a lot of iconic pairs. And this is one of the ones that I think gets shout out less because it has like it was touched so long ago versus even like uncharted or any of these other games. They have more modern entries, ratchet and clank just got an entry. So it's like the one that's a little bit lost to time in some ways. Obviously, I wouldn't say it's obscured by any means. It was like a huge deal. And I think the fact that they showed the map of haven city in the weird tech thing that I forgot about was cerny or who did that at presentation with the shadow people? Who could forget? I was like, boom, that's the impact of Jack and Dax are there. And they talk a lot about open world and load times in this post and all that. But yeah, I love this game so much. Rebecca, is there a game for you that you have like heavy love and nostalgia for still that you would notice the anniversary of or really be excited to sort of celebrate? Well, the people who listened to me, y'all constantly will get sick of hearing this. But obviously it's golden sun for me. That's the game that I never shut up about. That's the game that the release of the lost age. Like golden sun was already out when I discovered it, so I don't have as much nostalgia for the originals anniversary, but the lost age when that came out, I remember that being one of the first video game releases that I was like, day one, mom and dad take me to the store. I need to get this game. And so I remember golden like every year it comes around and there's a Twitter account that does. Oh, golden summit however many years old and I think, oh man, man, I wish they would, I wish they would make another game that isn't dark gone. So yeah, that's for me. That's the that's a really good one. You have, again, cold and sun isn't like a known or anything, like it is talked about, but I think it's definitely less disgusting than other titles. You have the deep cuts. It's like a medium. Yeah. It depends on how may casual you are for how deep of a cut it is, but yeah, that's one that I also really liked. I don't think I beat it, but that was like what I remember from my childhood era of having played and it was kind of like one of the allier games for me because I really did grow up very heavily on platformers, which is why I have these random gaps of like, I'm like, oh, I didn't play that because you were like shooting stuff. And I was like, nah, we're just here to jump. We're just jumping around. I was from Pokémon to all JRPGs for a while. That's the pipeline, I think. That is the appropriate pipeline for it. But yeah, that's an awesome one to shout out. And then lastly, I want to pull in this pretty fun story about these PlayStation meals, essentially. This comes over from games radar, which writes a PlayStation is partnering with delivery in Australia to deliver dishes based on iconic games, like uncharted four and the last of us two. Starting today, December 3rd, three restaurants will be taking part in the hashtag PlayStation to play campaign, two of those restaurants, both based in Sydney, will be making dishes based on nor dog games. Mary's is making the steak sandwiches offered to Ellie by Seth towards the start of last of us two spoilers while the Italian bowl recreates the pasta dish that Nathan Drake and Elena eat in uncharted four as the former wrestles with yet another adventure to call. So I brought this in just because I thought it was like a fun little random thing. I like weird food mash ups with games, but also this is like your bag. I don't want to say too much 'cause I want you to speak on, what is your background with food and games? Do you have an interesting question? Look how cute they look. I want to eat one. So I'm definitely a trailer. Yeah, so yeah, video game food is like a thing that I am apparently into now. I bet she's what year was it? However many years ago, I got a World of Warcraft cookbook for Christmas. And I made one recipe in it, and it was really good. And then I made another, and that was really good. And then before I had known it, before I realized that I had made ten recipes out of it, they were all really good. And I looked at the table of contents and I said, oh, I could probably just make all of these. And so over the next year and a half, I made every recipe in the World of Warcraft cookbook. And that was so fun. I then started doing it with The Elder Scrolls cookbook. And then I finished that one. And then I did the mother's cookbooks like EarthBound and the mother series and I finished that one. And now I'm working on making every recipe in the legends cookbook, which is Legend of Zelda. I actually have some seafood paella, which is a breath of the wild recipe on deck for next week. But yeah, I love doing video game food. I'm not a fancy accomplished chef or anything. I don't think I could ever create my own recipes like these people are doing, but you've got video game food show it to me. I am so interested in how people translate fictional dishes. I mean, the last of us a steak sandwich. Is that what it was a steak sandwich? That's a reasonable thing to make. But I especially love when it gets real fantastic. Weird fantasy food and how we translate that into something that someone could actually eat. What's the wildest food you've made in terms of like that kind of translation like that less concrete translation? Oh man, so the final recipe I did out of the mother's cookbook. If you've ever played EarthBound, I say the name wrong all the time because I've never heard it out loud. I just say it in my head and read it. Magic sense, that medicine, the place with all the pink clouds, it's like this magical kind of zone that he's in. There was a recipe in there called peak cloud cotton candy, which was not actually a food in EarthBound. I don't think it was just to represent those pink clouds. And if you have a cotton candy machine or if you've seen one before, you know how they work it spins it around. But this was hand pulled cotton candy. And so what I had to do was make candy syrup and then wait for it to cool off to a specific temperature and then flour up my hands and then twist this rope into strands and I found so hurting it over and over to make as many strands as possible to try to make cotton candy. I failed. My rule is it counts if I at least try it and from start to finish. So I didn't actually it's really hard to do. There are people I don't remember where they got this recipe from, but apparently there's people there's like street food vendors in certain regions who can do this like super fast and super accurately and it's very impressive. But it was weird and it was so cool and I learned so much about how to make candy and what cotton candy even is. And yeah, that was really cool, but I've got a ton of weird ones. I think they call that dragon's hair, right? This yeah, that's what it is. Yeah. Yeah, that's wild. And then so I was thinking, if you had to make a video game meal, what would you make?.

"Lori by so they'd gone to a movie and then much like people did back then. They went for some privacy. They parked along a secluded dirt. Road away from people they could play some kissy face and then it was reported that just before midnight. Someone appeared at the driver's side window and shown a bright flashlights in the window. A i the two of them thought you know someone would just fucking around with them but then the man pulled a gun on them and demanded that they get out of the car. It was reported to the man was wearing a white hood. Like a pillowcase. Over his face and the is were cut out anyone getting friday the thirteenth part to vibes jason. She thinks similar for yours hockey mask so i feel like that was inspired by this anyway. So the couple of the car. The man immediately demanded that jimmy take off his pants. Jimmy complied and then the man pistol-whipped twice cracking his skull knocking him unconscious mary. Jane told the man that they didn't have any money. Has she thought he was trying to rob them. He hit her in the head as well and then told her to run. She started running toward a ditch because there were trees on the other side of it so she figured maybe she could get into the treeline and hide but he yelled at her to run the other way so she did. She came up on a car ran up to thinking that maybe she would find some help there. But it was empty and i but i don't know for sure that maybe it was a phantoms car. That was there so anyway. He caught up with her and when he did he casually asked her. Why are you running. She was running because he told her to. He called her a liar. Did he knocked her down. Big chair warning here proceeded to sexually assault her with a barrel of the gun. Oh my god yeah. This is while she's unconscious or unconscious. He'd knocked her down omega on. My god god no. He left without killing her. She got up. She ran for help. And i read. The jimmy also managed to come to and i don't know if he got in the car and drove to find help but eventually they both survived. They were both taken to the hospital. They were questioned by police but due to inconsistencies in their stories the police decided that they just made it up. Whoever had attacked them they knew them and they were trying to protect them so they told the public. It was just a revenge attack. Nothing to worry about. Oh my god if someone attacks me. I'm not making that shut up and i'm not going to protect someone like if someone i know as attacked me circle down if you pissed with me if use fucking sexually assaulted. Do you know like the psychological tori. That would my god my. I'd even if i didn't know you i'm not protecting your ass. Now you're going down motherfucker so in the movie version of the scene. The couple survived but the character representing jimmy there. The names were changed in the movie. And i don't remember what the character's names were. It was much more dramatic like dude. They were trying to drive away. Dude broke the front window. And then he pulled jimmy out the front window of the the cars of course and then hit him. I think it was with a crowbar. The girl wasn't raped but she was. I think she got shot and then someone drove up on her. She was found crawling across the road so there was a lot of drama and also as a side no in the movie. If you watch it. I don't know of cars. Were really really difficult to drive back. Then or what the fuck. Because every time someone comes getting around a corner. The car is like fish tailing about to spin a cookie and this was the fifties or the forties in the forties the forties. I haven't is from the forties. I don't know but anyway so it was kinda comical so coming back to the actual story. It's now march. Twenty four hours and some guy. Driving along rich road found a car parked the end of the road which was also popular lovers lane. He went to check the car to see if there was anyone in there. And if they were okay and found the dead bodies of twenty nine year old richard griffin and his seventeen year. Old girlfriend pollyanna more. How huge age disparity there. Richard was found between the front seat of the car on his knees. And then pollyanna was in the back. Seat both had been shot in the head and from what it looks like they may have been shot outside of the car or at least one of them because there was blood on the ground and it looks like there may have been a struggle out there. They also found bullet casings which were said to be from a colt. Thirty two pistol. From what i understand. She too had been raped but there was nothing. Formerly mentioned in the post mortem report but police said that she had been assaulted at this point in time. Police from both texas and arkansas were brought in as well as the fbi to investigate and a five hundred dollar reward was posted. Dozens of people were interviewed. Most of them from a bar. That wasn't far from where the couple had been found. I also read that. Jimmy and mary jean. The first victims insisted that whomever had killed richard and polly. Ann was probably the same man who had attacked them. But they've heard word now. This makes me think that you the police were really awful or the two of them. Were the pariahs. Texarkana taken seriously must have a reputation of being fucking idiots or something because yeah both times. They're like just go away. Sir larry something up with those two now in the movie. The scene was much more dramatic. The lead policeman was out patrolling. The city happened upon an empty car and when he went to investigate he heard gunshot so he calls for backup on a cb radio then goes looking for the gunshots. Defines the guy lying in a ditch with a gunshot wound to the head and then he eventually finds a girl tied to a tree with a gunshot wound and there's also a close call scene between the policemen and the killer. The killer gets away. You know so again. A lot of dramatic effect but this scene bugged the fuck outta me because the police officers was raining really hard and he has a flashlight and he's looking around like he's having a hard time seeing. It was obviously daytime when the scene was shot. Maybe just before dawn or dusk but it was like there turn. You need the flashlight job crazy. So now coming. Back to the real crimes since april fourteenth three weeks after richard and pollyanna were murdered and there was a dance at the local veterans of foreign wars organization and the town and fifteen year. Old betty jo booker had attended because she played the saxophone and she was in the band who was playing for dance that night at the gig ram late and afterwards she was getting a ride home from a good friend of hers. Sixteen year old martin. This was the last time when they left to dance last time. The either of them were alive a few hours after they left the dance. Some people travelling down north park road saw what appeared to be a teenage male lying on his side in the middle of the road when they got out to see if he was okay they found that had been shot in the face the hand the back and then through the back of his neck when police got there they discovered that the gun that was used to shoot him was again. A thirty two colt pistol which was also the type of gun used in the previous murders. Police kept searching found area. Further up the road from where he was found in a looked as though struggle had taken place there because there was blood on the ground they kept searching for betty jo and eventually found her around eleven thirty. Am almost two miles away from where they found the kid she had been shot twice once in the chest wanna face again with thirty two caliber pistol. And this is what's creepy. They found her fully clothed. Her coat was banned all the way up to her neck. She was lying on her back with one of her hands in her coat pocket so he had staged her he's progressing. Oh my god and killing number. What.

So there's this British guy and he goes into a McDonald's, and I guess he got really grossed out. Because there was a pig nipple in his bacon. Never open your food. If you're eating at places like that, you just If you're if you're going in, just go in just to eat. All right, hang on. Here's the picnic like to see the part of why it looks gross because there's catch up on it. Right. So ignore the catch up. Okay? Looks more like a visit. To me. Yeah, but like if you are willing to eat the pig's flesh, why do you care if it at an IP first off, they don't get bacon off of the belly belly skin of the day. That's off the back of the pig. It is off the back, isn't it? Yeah, I don't think it's feeling the pigs growing nipples on its back. I think he knows. He don't know what carbuncle is. That's a carbuncle. All right, so the people at McDonald's checked it out, and they're pretty confident. That's not what it is. A representative from the company says, quote We use back bacon and all our bacon rolls. And due to the location thing back bacon a that this cut is taken from. We are confident that customer is mistaken in his claim, but it turned him into a vegan because he saw a big nipple. He said he will never eat meat again. Sandwich. He won't even eat cheese. Not even dairy products, not even butter. You won't even have butter. You don't even have milk your coward. No pig milk? No, I guess not. No, just out maybe big love. It never had pig milk before. But we drink goat milk. Why is it that pig milk is I'm assuming pigs nurse their young They have, you know they're mammals have mammary glands. When nobody's ever bothered trying to, you know, sell pig milk in the store. Now that you bring it up, Why isn't there any any pigment? Okay, I want to eat pig while you look into that. Nicholas just wants to let us know that Donald Trump did, in fact, tell Joe Rogan That he would box Joe Biden. Yeah, we've heard that before. Well, I'm assuming it came up because they were at a boxing match. Yeah, he said it more than once Trump wanted to fight Joe Biden, which means Trump is is leasing out some spaces and limited amount of space inside Joe's brain. "His 27 year old son died from this damn covid. Oh, man. That is, that is so unfortunately, I'm so sorry to hear that. Yeah, stuff touching his all. I'm sorry. It is. Yes, This is a terrible, terrible disease. Mike. Thanks a lot for that. And thanks for the for the update on on Colorado. I've been following that story and and it's going to be real interesting to see what they're gonna have to do about that. Presumably, they're just going to change the passwords. It's going to give the Repubs here another swing at going after the Dominion voting machines. They're already I can see it ramping up right now. Yeah, well, that was that was what precipitated it was there was some Republican who was who was? You know some conspiracy, not who was going on and on about this, and the and the screenshot of what they did, as I recall. Included up in the It was. They were on the the Tabulator computer If I'm remembering correctly, and the screenshot had the password on it, and and that was the point. And, you know, the screenshot was purported to prove how easy it is to hack these machines and get into the you know which didn't do it all. I mean, they didn't succeed in making their point, but they did succeed in putting the password out for the world. And it's just like the crazy people and in extruded in Arizona. I mean, it's just it's nuts that the the state Senate required Maricopa County to turn over the voting machines. To to this cyber Ninja guy. This one guy who's got this little company that operates out of a post office box in.

"Away on the block. They put him into this spherical container that's supposed to be able to absorb the blast and it didn't There's only £10 of explosives, but the thing blew up. And it destroyed a $1 million bomb container truck that LAPD had its injured about 17 people, including 10 cops, and it blew out windows and damaged cars and just created a big mess. Most of the injuries were not serious. Um Then the ATF is supposed to come and try to figure out what went wrong. And there are more stories today in the news media analyzing it was it was it multiple areas, human errors. Something wrong with that sphere, something that they didn't detecting the bomb. Well, that's why Steve's coming on to give us the latest. Steve, How are you? Hey, John. How's it going, man? Good whatsoever. So what's up? Anything new? Yeah. So be well, No, not new in terms of like jaw dropping new but It's basically a T F on scene yesterday morning. Their national response team got here, and what they're doing now is they're going out to that debris field and they're trying to pick up just much like if you will, a plane crash or any other type of explosion that has a debris field. They're going to see how far out that debris field goes, and then they're working their way in and they're doing what they're now. Calling, shrinking that debris field picking at that evidence and working their way inward so they can get streets opened up neighborhoods opened up. People can get back to their homes, and then as they do that, they make note of it. They measure they survey and then they go back and put all the information into a computer modeling program. Then they're going to try to recreate the blast, based on Which direction most of the debris went. Where did the least of the debris co interviews from witnesses interview with bomb techs with the media Because there were some media folks standing by to And then they'll take all that information. They're going to try to recreate the explosion. Figure out if this was a problem with the structure and structural integrity of the sphere, or was it human error? Uh, you know, there was also this Theory floating around that somehow the lid this one ton lead this hydraulic hydraulically controlled was not fully closed and was not field completely. There's also concern now is to why did the LAPD take the risk? Trying to detonate these improvised explosives in the middle of a densely pop populated neighborhood. So the ATF's going to work on that then they have another team that's investigating how the guy the 27 year old man who was arrested. How did he acquire this much explosive material? What was he doing with it? Where did he get it from? And it's just the only house in the area because from what I'm being told, now, there are multiple homes in l a. That do just this very thing and that is stored this kind of material. And then there's a connection and you talked about a bit yesterday after I left that there is a connection now, with cartels moving this kind of explosives up into L. A. So there's a lot of questions that still need a lot of answers. Yeah, The part that jumped out at me today with the new reporting I read was, why did they do this in the neighborhood? Don't they Normally drive this out to some secure LAPD area or an open field just somewhere where nobody is going to get hurt, and nothing is going to get damaged and to do it right in the middle of a densely populated area. Now, the day later does seem to be a curious decision. Sure, And you know what everyone's going to start to pick and poke at all of the the could be would bees and should be and in this particular case That containing vehicle has been into a lot of places, a lot of neighborhoods, a lot of shopping centers, a lot of places to dispose and detonate explosives. They've gone through this many times before, and they've done it with 100% success. What was so different about this particular situation? Worse than it is? I think you and I talked about yesterday was the chemical makeup of this particular explosive something they Was it that bad? Um Again. Was there, uh, with their faulty equipment in play? Was there some bad judgment? That's again? These are all questions that need to be answered that perhaps we'll get a little better idea of why they chose that location. Somehow, somewhere someone thought it was okay to do so. If it was something like they didn't close the lid tight enough. Are there going to be able to figure that out Because so much damage was done. How do they separate the damage out of somebody not closing the door tightly enough. Or maybe it was a little off kilter, and that's why it didn't close tightly. It may not have been that I'm just saying now that everything got all busted up. How are you going to separate What went wrong at the moment from all the damage from the explosion. The technology is amazing for them to recreate these things and the lid. If I remember correctly, the lid is closed remotely. It's not something that they close the lid in person. They they load the stuff in remotely through a robot. And then the robot goes back, and then they hit another button and the lid closes. Now it's possible that a sensor that tells them the latest close wasn't working and to your question. You know, it's just much like the the finite material that they find on plane crashes, and they're able to go back and find out that a fuse gave out in a plane crash. They have this amazing technology to be able to go in and try to determine how this happened. It's very possible, John that through simple witness testimony and through checklists and going down the list. It's very possible this might come out to be Lack of judgment call. It may not even be a technical thing. It may just being protocols not followed, even though Chief Moore says all the protocols were followed. But you know what? It was also information he was given right there on the spot. When you get a bunch of federal ATF agents, breaking everyone up and doing one on one interviews. You never know what kind of information you're going to get. All right, and you got any more on this gang situation? I mean, I mean, there's more stories out about the tremendous amount of, uh, really nasty explosives that the gangs are selling, and then they're using the proceeds to buy guns, and I guess there's no way to stop this stuff is there Here's.
