How Should We Identify the Nashville Shooter?
"We have. A very interesting sort of smoking gun problem in the mainstream media, which is the left wing media there. Synonymous. How do you identify the shooter in a Nashville, this monstrous murderer who murdered three children and three adults, I believe that is the number. Children three children ages 8 and 9 and three adults. At a Christian school, the covenant school for the record the children were Evelyn, deke house, Halle scruggs, and William Kinney. The adults were Cynthia peak, Catherine coons, and Mike hill. 61 60 61, children 8 and 9. I think the murderer was 26 years old. I'll verify that for you. So we have here a female who identifies as a male, so in the current parlance that's trans male. If you watch the mainstream media or read the mainstream media or listen to them, it was very difficult to ascertain that. Because in their articles, the many of them did not even use a pronoun. This is very difficult when you describe somebody who is the subject of your story. So do you say she took the gun or she got the gun illegally, she got there in a stolen car, she got there, or he got there.

Robyn Pfaffman: Brian Kemp Activates National Guard Amid Protests
"Am here in Atlanta and that governor Brian Kemp Todd has called up a thousand members of the National Guard ahead of possible violence because we had violence here last weekend. Keeping the story very tight, we have a $90 million police training facility. Police and fire, by the way, training facility that is being built into cab county right on the Atlanta outskirt. Right on the border of Fulton and the cab in a forest area. And there was a protest there because there are people that despise the police and so there was a protester by the name of an activist by the name of Manuel turnip 26 years old who shot at a Georgia state patrol officer and then was shot and killed in this. And then a week ago last weekend, there were riots because that person is dead. The rioting for people that don't understand the landscape of this, the rioting was in downtown Atlanta by the Westin hotel, which is in the center of the city where people come and know Atlanta from the Olympics back in the 1996 and all of that and so you're talking about rioting in the downtown area where our hotels and stores and restaurants, but this police facility that they call cop city is easily a good 20, 30 minutes away from there. So again, it's outside agitators that are not totally upset with cop city and are choosing to take down the city over Atlanta in a more of a commercial district where they could really cause that much damage and in a forest Todd is that you can do in a city where there's glass and stuff to steal and setting police cars on fire. "The vision? Do you have a number of practices and EBITDA number of top line number or are you guys just going to do this until you don't want to do it anymore? I mean, the thing we've realized and this was another thing we were just getting alignment on this week is what's our long-term vision and goal and like I love George and Matt Garena as they're like, we want to die on this ship. This is our 20 year career of I want to keep driving in this direction as far as possible. And their commitment to this is what allows us to drive forward with confidence because all 6 of us we want what's going to be most successful for our group long-term. And it's exciting to grow something with people who are like minded. I feel like practice ownership can feel very isolating and lonely. Multi practice ownership can feel that way as well. And so having partners at this level who are so driven and committed and excited because we're all good at different things. You know, one of us, I'm good at like the podcasting and the training and the human resources side of things. So is Alex sharp my other partner, Austin's great at marketing. You know, we've got a COO Matt garino. He's getting crap done. Matt Ford's great at finding new locations and finding new doctors. And so between the 6 of us, we fill out our C suite and we share the responsibilities and we're always pivoting of like, okay, where does this feel unsustainable for you? Where can we support each other better? And how can we support our doctors better? And it's been really fun to build this community of Dennis who are learning and pushing the limits on implants and what can be done in a practice that's got a lab tech and someone at their back so they can do that kind of dentistry all day every day. Yeah, that's awesome. So to answer your question a little further. So our goal for this year is to do 20 de novos. Wow. And I don't know if we'll hit that. But our B hag, our big hairy audacious goal. And so we're pushing in that direction and we'll see how far we get, but the pairing of these doctors who just know they're like, I don't love operative. I don't love fillings and crowns. I want to do surgery. I want to help transform, you know, you talk about cosmetic dentistry, full arch, whether it's a denture, whether it's all on four, this is really satisfying cosmetic dentistry because patients walk in, not being able to smile, they're not happy with how they can eat and chew and function. And we give them options. We're not pushing them one direction or the other. It's like, here's the spectrum. Here's what we recommend. Here's what I would do if I was using your circumstance. And we find an option that works for them. So it's a fun model that I'm still in. I'm clinically out of the 6 of us. I'm the one who's still clinical three days a week. And just like you were clinical and doing all these other things for a long period of time. 21 years. Yeah. It's a challenge, but it's also fun. It's fun to be in there and to be able to relate and understand exactly what these doctors and patients are feeling. Wow. What a great story, man. I would love to have you back on the podcast to talk all the way through it without rushing through it. But I want to end on this question and this is not intentional. I'm not trying to end on a negative, but I would love to hear if you could select one single thing that's your biggest challenge as a group owner and that could be as a group that could be as you personally that could be just as a business owner as in a partnership. What is the number one challenge that you're facing right now? Either as a group or personally. Yeah. I'd say growth. And growth is that associate associate onboarding is that is that it's everything. So trying to add 20 in a year, we added ten last year trying to add 20 this year. Stuff's going to break. And every one of these startups, like every startup is challenging and ugly for its own reasons. Every time you do a startup, stuff doesn't go perfectly. And then you do a startup and that office has massive growth. It's painful to grow. It's painful to hire people and scale up. And so we were going to have to scale our organization as we're adding offices as we're adding doctors and our goal is to not make the same mistake twice, but we're going to make these mistakes. And it's going to be hard at times, and we know that. But it's worth it because of the mission that we have and what we're unlocking for these patients and for these doctors. But I'd say just all of the pain that's associated with growth. I'm interested in asking you because you talked about in your lecture today about this. Well, thank you for being there. I was there. This charitable organization that you're driving, I've wanted to start a podcast called dentist doing good. That breaks down, how do you actually make an impact via charitable dentistry? The nuts and bolts, like the behind the scenes stuff. And the way that you're trying to build clinics because you have the reach to fill those clinics with volunteers and all of that, I would love to have a conversation with you about how you've thought about this and your plans and all of that. I think it would be a lot of fun. Well, thank you, man. I would love to talk about that. Like I said, on stage, that is the next chapter. And I'm trying to figure out or I was for a long period of time trying to figure out like, how do you take and I hate the word influence, but how do you take your balls or attention and turn that into something positive, aside from revenue? Feeling an event. Increasing your EBITDA, getting the associates that you need. There's got to be a deeper purpose for all of it than that. And I have found and this was an unintended side effect of kind of having a long-standing podcast that's been on forever. I have found that dentists are really, really great people, and they really want to serve. Totally. And the physical and emotional and mental exhaustion that we experience as a profession, I think there's one single antidote, and that is going to do free work. Particularly for those people that have zero access to it. Because that's what reminds us of beauty and the skill and the gift that we have in our hands. And all of that other stuff goes away. Misses Jones with their 15th denture sore goes away. Like hygiene arguing with the front desk. That goes away. Frivolous lawsuits from people that have post office sensitivity and they had to have a root canal. Now they're suing you. All of that goes away when you realize that you have this gift to heal and to do better in the world. And I just can't wait. You can tell. I light up.

With the youngest exposure being 5 years old and the latest exposure to pornography being 26 years old. So most people have been exposed to pornography at least by the age of 26. It says that more men indicated their first exposure was accidentally 43% of them and the intentionally was 33% and forcibly with 17%. And the information comes from a study done by the American psychology association. So if you want to go look it up in fact check me American psychology association. With the facts. But I was close.
