"Take X and subtract by half. If you're looking to use those hospitalization numbers as an indicator of severe illness in your particular community, or whatever area that they're referring to. Our guest is journalist Dave Swag, and his latest article that we're talking about in the Atlantic basically says, based on the recent study in recent data that about half of those who are hospitalized with Covid 19 are just that hospitalized for something else. And they happen to also have covid 19. But it's asymptomatic or very mild one last question on this day because it's critically important. This is not an incidental statistic. The original shutdown 15 days to flatten the curve. The rationale behind that was our hospitals will be overrun our hospitals and our medical system will be so overtaxed dealing with people with Covid 19. That it's going to be a looming disaster. That's why this hospital number is so big as we see hospitalizations increase we all think. Oh, gosh, our hospitals, we see these headlines all the time. You know, people can't get basic healthcare because so many people are there with Covid 19. This is the driving stat, isn't it? Wow. That's a really interesting point. As far as the flattened the curb thing, Um, you know, I would say in reporting this article I was really digging in to that sort of geographic distribution of cases. And then as I heard it, not just cases but also looking at hospitalizations and ICU admissions, etcetera and What's interesting is this is a very, very geographically sort of focused. Um, uh, pandemic in many ways, and you have the whole northeastern corridor right now from Virginia all the way up to remain became, the hospitalizations are half Of what they were in November. I think, whereas if you look at a place like the Northwest Oregon and Washington, uh or in the Southeast, the numbers have been incredibly high tide. They've been as at least as of 23 weeks ago. So it is possible that someone in Oregon or in you know Georgia, maybe their their hospitals may be really full and a significant portion of his patients could be from Covid. But as you noted, we really need To take these numbers with a grain of salt. We need to think about where you live versus where these cases are, because that's an can throw the average off. I will say one other point that I think is important for your listeners to know. Although this is non period you'd study I had written a number of months ago, about two different peer reviewed studies on pediatric hospital admissions, and they found roughly the same thing. They were 40 to 45% of pediatric because This study was on the Via which are adults. So that's one of the reasons I felt comfortable writing about, Uh, study that hadn't yet been peer reviewed is that its findings so closely echoed what we saw in the pediatric population, so it really supports the findings here. And it's important for people to be aware of this. Dave's wag latest article in the Atlantic Thank you so much for diving into these numbers and and revealing so much about them. It's critically important that we have facts that are disposal. And if your upcoming book is anything like your recent reporting, it's going to be a must read. That book is called an Abundance of caution, Dave, Thanks for joining us today. Thanks for having me it is 7 46. Let's get straight to Lisa Beijing and the Hadeed carpet cleaning traffic center. "Still had that apartment. You're still paying rent in that apartment up in Sacramento. I think you maybe should just go ahead and let that go. Help your savings a little bit more. Just No, I can't let that go. I could get sent down at any moment. So I I asked him about it. I don't know, 23 weeks ago, and he said, Yeah, I still have it. And he said, When we have a day off, we get home from a road trip. There's a day off. I drive up there and do some laundry and make sure that everything is ship shape up there before I come back, so he's been commuting from his apartment in Sacramento. So but I think that says a lot about who he is because he takes nothing for granted. And I think you heard that from a couple of those guys that we just talked to. You know, not just taking nothing for granted, but every single day, putting in the same kind of effort the same kind of preparation and I don't know how the Giants have done that. I mean, you've seen more big league seasons than I have. But between the two of us, we've seen a lot of them. And it's a grind. It's a grind on the players. And I've just been amazed maybe more by that than anything else from this Giants team, their ability to focus every single day to prepare the same way every single day. And that's not just me saying that, though you heard it from those guys, and I think Lamont's a great example of that. Yeah, they always used the word. The process and, you know, stay with the process. And it's not just a cliche that they go to word that is literally what they do. And here they just been on a road trip. They got in. I think they didn't land until around 10 o'clock last night, or maybe a little bit after 10 o'clock, So it was kind of a late night for everybody. After a long trip to Colorado and And to Chicago, but They were out, taking infield and doing infield drills before the game, and and the main guys were all out there. Bryant was out there third. Crawford was out there at shortstop and let Stella at second base. These are These are not young guys trying to show that they belong. These are veteran.

"You to core strategy and core strategy is that six step process that we use to help us identify where the pros are buying and where the pros are selling. Uh, and again, it's all about. You know, it's all about copying the smartest kid in school with that, you know, you want to find who's the best data and try to do what they do. That's what course strategy helps us with the professionals. The institutions are definitely in that category as the best at this Um, you know, if you things that we were touching on over the last little bit, we talked about a few bearish opportunities in the last segment. We hit on some economy earlier in the show and even a little bit of an S and P breakdown even earlier in the show. So if if you're just tuning in, you missed out on a couple of bearish opportunities. Murphy oil, We've got to supply zone and again a supply zone likelihood where there's a price area that we've identified the likelihood of professional selling. Murphy Oil 22, then a higher one at 23, 50. And again we mentioned how this is the third bite at the apple. Uh, if you've been tuning into the show for the last couple months, you've heard Murphy maker make our list of few times the other ones since Satya Tech. S T, uh, identified as supply zone at 58 63 again. That supply zone is what we've used course strategy to help us identify where there is the likelihood of professional Selling. Uh um, as we're just kind of hitting this this this last segment here, Gregory your thoughts on just just hitting hard on a few more picks. What do you think? Yeah, let's do it. You know, it's interesting kind of a little bit of dull drums earning season is pretty much over. I think next week All we have is Oracle's the only one. The To watch a lot of stuff next week. As far as like, you know, telling about inflation we have you know, we have CPI core CPI retail sales retail sales, So this is the time where the market system necessarily necessarily moving. But as you mentioned, it's always opportunities, especially because of the sector rotation. So I'd love to take a look at some bowls we have right now. Yeah. And you look at the you look at the overall market activity. And even though we may not be having the s and P may not be having just a huge day, we'll have an all time high here and there, But we've had fairly small I would say relative days over the last little bit. You can dig into some of those stronger sectors and weaker sectors like real estate like tech on the stronger side like energy like materials on the weaker side. Uh, you there's a lot of movement in there. Remember that the market the S and P is an average, which means it is It's kind of smooth out those those those capitulation type of a moves that are part of that calculation. So we are lovers of volatility. That's one of the things that people aren't used to hearing. We love volatility. Volatility is price action. I don't know. I don't know about you, but it's all about Bilos Sell high. That's price action, so things that aren't moving. Outside of some some some credit type trades. You know, our little boring, so let's jump onto the bullish side as you just mentioned a few minutes ago. I don't even know if it was that long ago. If you maybe 30 seconds ago or so before we do it just a little quick thing for the For our listeners. I think this is kind of a fun, fun little fact. You know, we're talking about the S and P 500 not moving much. But people don't realize that Apple is like 6% of the S and P like 6% of the weighting of it. So as Microsoft Microsoft about 6%, Amazon's about 4% between the three of them. You're 16% in just three companies out of the 500. I think just 505 and the s and P 500 right now. So sometimes people say, I don't know any apple stock. Yeah, you do if you have any kind of probably any kind of mutual fund out there. Yeah, And we've brought that up a few times to that. That's the situation where if we're diversification really hurts you. You know, in comparison to the overall market if you're not invested in the right things that are really driving the market. It's very, very easy to underperform the market. Uh, so you know, we did a breakdown. What was this, like, six months ago about and it was. It was pretty much a fang breakdown. If you recall, and it was like it was how much those had all moved and and how much really, they had impacted the overall market. And it's like, you know if you're off trying to do this on your own, and you hadn't really realized the institutional money that was flowing into those, then you had diversified into other assets, which actually hurt you. Um, but I know what What, me we'll bring that one back up on another on another show that was a fun topic to get into. On the bullish side of things, though, for for some some trading opportunities again. We mentioned real estate. We mentioned tech how they've been doing so well, Um and I've got the W R E Washington Real estate investments trust wre So right out of that real estate sector, which, if you look at the sector on its own You know, over the last. Maybe it's been what, three weeks? How just exploded to the upside, and now it has Started to drift back, giving us some of those wholesale opportunities, but it really, really popped out. Uh, 23 weeks ago. Very, very different than the over and that's a good example of very different from what the S and P has been doing. It was a parabolic move for, like, four days there, but wre Washington Real estate investment trust. A demand zone so again using core strategy to identify a demand zone, which is an area where there is a likelihood of professional buying. I got 25 on a demand zone there. What have you got for loving a little longer term on that at 23 a half? Yes. Looking for that stock fall quite a bit, You know, be a good chunk down. I think that's when a lot of people would be going looking at. Technically, here has been going. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my Mac. Desire is for six cell cell and that's right. At time we're going. We're going to happen. Nothing but our own, not trying to blaze a trail. Uh, Carbone path but just follow in the footsteps of the institutions professionals they control 80 90% of volumes of day by what you think is going to happen in that stock. That's that's been falling. Yep. Elevator 21st floor Menswear going up. Um, but, yeah, If you want to start learning more about core strategy and how we're identifying this as far as the imbalances in the market that supply and demand type of formula give us a call The colours one through 10 at 8777998723. "Nine search mission for Bowe. Bergdahl, who walked off his U. S military outpost was captured by the Taliban. That point they didn't know what had happened to him, and he just kind of disappeared. And they said, Well, we don't leave anybody behind back in those days. We didn't so we went and tried to find him. Well, Sergeant Mark Allen Master Sergeant Mark Allen, um, passed away a couple years ago. 10 years after he was shot in the head while searching for Bowe Bergdahl? Uh yeah, just full of good, uplifting stories this morning suffered a traumatic brain injury. Well, his life matters. It left him in a wheelchair, and he was unable to communicate and people ask us. Why is it so important to donate to wheelchairs for warriors? There's a good reason. Well stuff like this. Just imagine that a guy like that that's an American hero, risking her life and limb. Even when his government leaders weren't good people he was still trying to do what he thought was right. The Biden administration, the Obama administration, which is kind of all in the same, they would like you to forget all about that. Yeah, I don't remember that. Don't remember what happened just 23 weeks ago in Afghanistan. Forget all that. Joe Biden is already turned his back on it. The whole administration, the mainstream media, Afghanistan might as well have been 10 years ago. They're dealing with something else. Now they're going to come out and tell you about covid again. And if if Covid doesn't scare you know they're gonna come out and tell you about something else. Oh, you know what, somehow or another Inflation seems to be running rampant now, and they're just starting to notice it. Yeah, Something kind of remarkable happened yesterday They gave a press conference to talk about the problem with inflation because we don't want to talk about Afghanistan, so we'll talk about anything. No, no, no, they they really don't want to talk about Afghanistan, and they made some very bizarre points during the speech. Here's Biden's administration. Brian Deese of the N E. C. This is a guy that works and economic policies for the Biden administration explaining to you that if you take out beef, pork poultry, it's actually not that bad context Here is the focus of the appropriate focus on the question of grocery prices and the increase in grocery prices that we have seen. Recently over the last couple of months, and if we if we unpack that, at one of the interesting findings of the report that we put out today is that about half of the overall increase in grocery prices can be attributed to Significant increase in prices in three products in beef in pork and poultry and beef and pork. We've seen double digit increases in prices over the last couple of months. So he's explaining this like it's a good thing, guys, right? Yeah, it's Jeff Beef, pork and poultry, you know, so don't worry about it. You can do without that cancer when they talk about, like, unpacking something that's like you carrying £100 backpack on your back. You gotta love this £100 backpack around, but, you know If you took the bowling ball out, and if you took to y'all the set of tools out and you took your lunch out and backpack wouldn't be so heavy. Whoa! Yeah, Absolutely. Yeah, but you know, you didn't take anything out for you and you're still carrying it. It's just beef, pork and poultry. America, uh, and lumber. Remember what lumber did for a while back right after Biden and and then lumber went through the roof. And then things kind of calm down a little bit. Have you seen videos of all the damage on the Gulf Coast After Ida? There's gonna be another run on lumber. Yeah, well, it's just lumber guys. Yeah, we need some lumber. I mean, other than that one thing did. Did you enjoy it? Did you enjoy the play, Mrs Lincoln? Well, that's the main thing..

"Red eye radio, all across America and around the world. 866 90 ready. He is Eric Carlson. I'm Gerry McNamara. Welcome and good morning. Thank you so much for being here. As always. We do appreciate it. Uh, there's a number of articles that came out here in the last 48 hours. Uh, this one from the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Florida could be days away. From Delta Very in Peak University models show Florida is rapidly approaching the peak of new infections of the Delta wave when the highest single day counts could come, according to two models. Created by researchers at Florida universities. One model created by the University of South Florida researchers predicts the state will hit the most daily infections by today. Because the delta varying has infected so many unvaccinated people and more than 66% of Floridians have been immunized. She said The state will likely had heard immunity in early September. Well again, going on the very simple theory that a faster moving virus is going to move through a population faster, which means that you get to That peak level sooner and it will be interesting to see what the fall off is like. If that is the follow up if the rate of fall off Is faster. If immunity gained from infection proves to be long lasting. The research has indicated it offers short of protection of the vaccine and the vaccines hold. Uh that, uh, the researchers said the pen never could end by early next year. If immunity is long term, this will be the last significant wave. Noting flare UPS could still occur, But there's a lot of caveats to this. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says people who have been infected and recovered should still get vaccinated as we all know. Um University of Florida model predicts a similar timeline. Projecting. Peak to come at the end of last week or sometime next week in in that time period, which is what Dr Gottlieb in set a few weeks ago. Remember that right? The model. Updated on August 14 predict some more severe summit. About 33,000 cases in a single day, or 100 and 50 cases per 100,000 residents, according to a report. Published safety school. But hospitalizations and deaths spike days and weeks after symptoms arise. Florida will be feeling the effects of the delta very in for weeks and months to come. The researcher said. You know, I was looking at the I just looked at the death rates because you know the hospitalization. Serious hospitalization. Death rates the peak of the death rate here this month. Has peaked at 725 a day. Uh, it was over 3800 during the worst of January. Just put some perspective in it by 19% of what we had. Back then. But you have brought this up early on about women will hold it. Um, I know how viruses work. You don't have to be a doctor. But if this thing is a lot more contagious, that'll work itself with the population a lot quicker. So we're not talking about something that should be here. 68 months from now. Especially when you have, uh, the vast majority of the elderly and those that are most vulnerable. That you have close to you know, over. It's close to almost 92% have gotten their first shot in 82%. The second shot Well, then it's going to work its way through very quickly. And this thing isn't going to be something that's going to be around. Uh, you know it it again it will start hitting the northern states. But if we see this, one of the predictions was We'll see this. He got right about now is, Gottlieb said about 23 weeks ago, and then you're going to see it. Come back down by September, and then it will start hitting the northern states because they're inside, right? Yeah, And I saw something the day that already there having more cases in, um in New York and California than in the state of Texas, For example, the Texas may have, you know, maybe near that that peak also To begin with. And so it's not, You know, we we we obsess over the mask band. But as we have said, and this has been across the board that the mitigation effect for the masks of the Delta variant is a lot less. Gottlieb said former FDA commissioner maybe just 20% effective for the Delta virus, as it was for The alpha virus, which was our entire point. Well, if that is true, and you put kids into school, well, they're all going to get it. Well, they'll all be exposed to it right. And so whether they wear masks or not. If you're if you're back in school, you know it's going to happen. But if it works itself through the population so quickly, well, then this thing will end very soon. And then you will have Herd immunity that maybe, you know, it may not be 70 to 80%. It could be. I don't know 85 90% before you get it because of the Delta variant, who knows we'll know those figures six months from now. Right? Yeah, I think it will be interesting to watch again the rate to fall off from the delta variant and and how quickly that happens in the warmer states. Going forward and Then there's the I guess. Hmm. Media driven reaction. We've seen that with the number of school systems that now reporting the spike in cases with Children and everything else, And then what to do about that When it comes to a concerned parent, you're not going to Ignore them, and you have a number of SDS right now, making decisions anywhere from there was one SD in.

"Matt Maupin and others bear the slings and arrows of the actual fight itself. Had a guest on last night. There's been about 60,000 I said 60,000 American service personnel that have killed themselves over the past 20 years. 60,000 killed themselves suicide and can't take it. So the middle class and the poor guys go into the military and the suits put us in wars that we can't win. Don't win. Don't let the military win, Then they end up with big pensions. Working for Raytheon selling military hardware to the generals. They put in power and vice versa. It continues doesn't stop. Now, let's continue. We have three lines open 513749 7000. At dueling topics. The way I like it. Let's go to Linda in Middletown, Linda in Middletown. Welcome to the Bill Cunningham. So, Linda, How are you? I'm pretty good. Thank you. And I want to tell you that number one that You are a great American. And secondly, Cincinnati has another great American. My son, Chris, Uh, served in the Navy seal for 27 years. 18 of those were with Seal Team six. And he was one of the seals that went on the mission. You know, to take down bin Laden, and in fact, he was one of the skills was within the room. You know when he was shot But You know? And speaking with him, you know, over the last week, um, the and you know he is very involved with still with the seal community because he lives down Virginia. And they are all just Disgusted and disillusioned. They saw so many of their comrades who gave their lives to protect not only the Afghan people, but also you know the bases in different strongholds. And you know, it's just been, you know, he just in total disbelief, he says. It's America that he served in love no longer exists. And in fact, his son has been been in the Navy for seven years and and he's getting out in two years as soon as he can because, he said, it's It's just It's just a joke. You know, like you were talking about earlier. With all the critical race theory. Studies end with, you know the the homosexuals and transsexuals. He said that You know, he says, I mean, would be part of this anymore. Well, you know, when I watched General Mark Milley, chairman of Joint Chiefs about 23 weeks ago, he testified before the United States Senate. And I like to hear about military preparedness. I'd like to hear about winning wars to like to hear about strategy. I like to hear about how we can make it safer for men and women who serve I don't want to hear about the 16 19 project being taught to the cadets at West Point, which says America is a racist place not worthy to fight and die for because of slavery. I don't wanna hear about that. And then he also answered questions from Senator Duck Worth of Democrat from Illinois. About what do you do with the transgender issue in the Marines? That is if a transgender female goes from female Two male and becomes pregnant is their psychological services and surgery options, which he spent time talking about that, of course, he said, the biggest two issues in the military today Is white supremacy and climate change. And so I'm looking at him, saying he's testifying about white supremacy in the military, which is a bad thing, but I don't think most of the military ever think about white supremacy. I might be wrong. I know. General Colin Powell 25 year 20 years ago, said the military is the greatest, the fairest organization in the world. That you're judged on based upon merit, not upon your skin color. That's what Colin Powell said. And I look at the defense secretary is a black guy named Lloyd Austin. The head of the Air Force is African American. I don't care if you're black, white or polka dot I want you to do the job. But when the leader of the military says the two big issues are white supremacy and climate change. So I'm listening him testified. They have hundreds of soldiers with climate change. Uh, mitigators and climate change. Identify IRS. I'm going. Okay. What the hell is he talking about? And I'm listening on testified. We have hundreds of officers and soldiers who have identified in each military base in the world. We have about 750 military bases, how to mitigate climate change out of that military base. And so then you have hundreds of other soldiers coming in that arm climate change Mitigators, so they implement the climate change plan put forth by the climate change identifiers in order to lessen the carbon footprint of every military base in the world. And so I'm thinking the leadership of my country. It's concerned about white rage and about climate change mitigation instead of killing the nation's enemies. We don't win wars anymore. All we do is compete, and I don't want to hear. About critical race theory and the 16 19 project and climate change, mitigation and affirmative action opportunities and affirmative action deniers and the court system set up to handle all this crap. I'm thinking, Can we have a military that will kill the nation's enemies and make it safe for the world? The answer is no, We don't have that. When Iran about a year and a half ago, shot down a drone, the military general said. Let's attack Iran, So they put together a plan overnight. They had it ready about who to attack. What cities to go after. And I'm thinking Are you kidding me? How do we do in Iraq? How do we do in Afghanistan? Why in the hell when we attack Iran, the Democrats say we had to attack them because they attacked us. An attack on a drone is not exactly the same as Pearl Harbor. So, Donald Trump said, You know what? They didn't kill anybody, and I'm not going to do it. So the military then began leaking information about Trump the FBI leaked information about Trump the CIA. The intelligence services linked information about Trump to take down his presidency and damn it they want. Then they gave us a guy who campaign in the basement of his home and didn't campaign and can't read a teleprompter and can make a decision has no schedule. His name is Joseph Biden. He's not even the damn president. Valerie Jarrett, the president. The old Obama re treads and he was an Obama re tread. And now we're stuck in the world. With the Southern border Wide open. Skyrocketing gasoline prices were in an energy crisis they have Afghanistan's on fire, and the communist red Chinese now got to think Linda now is the time to take Taiwan Look who's in charge. This is ridiculous. Ridiculous. And by the way, Thank you for your son's service. You're welcome and thank you for and I wish more people could hear your message We are from our country needs. Prayers more today than ever. Lastly, Linda when I was a child growing up in Deer Park At the end of mass. I still remember this. Everyone said Mother of God, save Russia, and that was repeated at churches all over the world for 20 years. We ought to say now at the end of mass Mother of God Save America, because right now, with the southern border with skyrocketing gasoline prices with employment 10 million jobs cannot be filled because people don't want to go to work. We have a $30 trillion national debt that we're told. It's going to be $45 Trillion in 10 years 45 Trillion in the year 2000 and one the accumulated national debt from 17 88 until 2000 and one was four trillion. It's now going to be $45 trillion. And we have a president incapable of leading because he's mentally compromised and physically infirm, and we have no leadership anywhere, and the generals want us to go to war on a regular basis that we can't win and guys like your son's got to fight it. That's right. They we need what we need or soldiers. Not not people. Just, you know, making money making money, man. And you've got the soldiers and wheelchairs got the soldiers who want to kill themselves. 60,000 have committed suicide. But in the last during the war on terror, Linda, I got to go. But I thank you and your grandson and thank you for calling in. Thank you. Thank you Know I'm getting all pissed off. I mean, it's really unbelievable. How we've got ourselves in this situation. Let's continue. We had somebody in office, saying no to the generals..

To run against the seat that was just vacated by Congressman Ron Kind kind and out, saying about a 23 weeks ago that he's not going to run for reelection. Van Orden does not yet have a Democratic opponent. But Derek, you served multiple combat tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan. How does what's happened in Afghanistan over the past week or so impact you personally. Well, um, you know, the first casualty that was sustained uniform casualty in Afghanistan name was Neil Roberts. He was a very good friend of mine. In our graduation from seal training. A photograph. We have our arms around each other and another friend that I held his hand as he died in what was then a tent in Bagram. There's building South hospitals. Very nice facility. You know, with the satellite phone playing. Or on next to his ear. And I could hear his wife crying, Uh, Kim and crying out to God because she knew that she would never see her husband alive again. So it's deeply personal and I want every single man and woman who served in Afghanistan and Iraq. Also, if you served there, you've got to remember that you served with honor and you've seen been witnessed to Some of the most beautiful aspects of the human condition. Possible. Uh, service, sacrifice, honor, Courage, commitment, bravery. Unconditional love. You know, we saw these things firsthand and I want everybody to serve their told your head up. I He served with honor. And you did your duty to your nation. Um, but this is a start Reminder. For us that served and I think it's a wake up call to many Americans. To truly understand. When you have a Near total lack of leadership. In the executive branch that this is what happens. And I don't want any of my fellow veterans. To think for a second. That this is a result of their actions. So Politicians will continue to screw things up. Like it's their job. And I am going to Washington, D. C. And I'm going to do everything in my power. To prevent something like this happening again. Do you believe that President Biden's dichotomy that either we stayed in Afghanistan for another decade, potentially in fighting an unwinnable war or fully evacuate was a false one. In other words, do you think that he was right? Or was this an attempt to deflect responsibility from the botched withdrawal? The latter. Of course, this could have been an orderly withdrawal or we removed our forces, and it's turned into a panic retreat. So I don't know if people really understand the timing of that we we withdrew all of our military forces. You know, nearly everybody. There's always one of these Tuesdays. They're going to get, uh not hang around until we leave it. So we withdrew our our military Our our excuse me Uniform service members and left 15,000 American citizens in the country. In Afghanistan, so the military left Because they're ordered to and the civilian state. We pulled out 2500 troops and we had to put 6000 back in. There's going to be more going back in a guarantee you before this is over. Um, so if they they have shown from Secretary Blinken Secretary Austin, the chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff, Milli National Security advisor Jake Sullivan, that they're all truly incompetent. And they need to be removed from office right now. They're not helping anything anymore by being there. So Ah! The Biden administration is in full panic. C Y a mode right now, As are all these other senior governmental officials. This did not need to happen This way. We We got rid of a forward base where we can conduct Counterterrorism operations in the most troubled part of the world, and when President Biden says we're going to do these over the horizon special operations missions those Those can be done once these Tuesdays for a small amount of people knew hostage rescues in the deserts of Somalia. When we pull people out of Afghanistan. We've done that before in Iraq, where right on was killed in Yemen. Those are those are small operations that can't be done in a mass mass scale, so President Biden does not understand. Of the military work. And it's tragic is an example. Dan If Osama bin Laden was alive today. And we got actionable intelligence that he was in Abbottabad, Pakistan. We could not go get bin Laden today. Because of this foolish action to the Biden administration because that mission was launched out of J batter Jalalabad, Afghanistan for logistics purposes. The Star Trek isn't real. I hate to break everybody's parts, but you can't just teleport yourself somewhere. You need an airplane. You need a helicopter. You need a Humvee. You need em, Wrap. That takes fuel. And there's a finite amount of stuff that there can be. Prepositioned and we've lost that capability completely. The human intelligence networks that establishment 20 years carbon That's countless billions of dollars worth of intelligence assets are gone. Let alone to $86 billion worth of heart equipment that we've just re armed. The Taliban would It's criminal President. Biden says that a certain level of chaos in the withdrawal was always inevitable. Do you believe that? And how do you think the Biden administration could have done things differently? If that chaos wasn't inevitable to make sure that our people were evacuated safely? Our equipment and technology was protected. There is a certain amount of chaos that is predictable for a black Friday sale at Wal Mart. We know that's going to happen. There is not a certain amount of chaos. It is predictable in a well ordered neo operation that said not to batten evacuated, not combatant evacuation operation That is the Department.

"One of the big stories in the music industry right now has been the response to hip hop star two babies homophobic comments, which he made during a festival in Miami late last month. As NPR's Elizabeth Blair reports, the fallout was swift as multiple festivals canceled his shows. With his millions of followers on social media. The baby has a powerful platform. He's one BT awards and been nominated for Grammys. I'm one of the greatest ain't no debate. No, no, I'm still levitated medicated. Ironic I gave him love and they and the painting on me. That's the baby on a Dua Lipa song that's in the top 10 of the Billboard's hot 100 chart. During his concert at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami, he told the audience to put your cell phone light up. If you didn't show up with HIV AIDS, you didn't show up today with HIV AIDS and get up there and essentially transmitted disease making died. 23 weeks put his cell phone right now. The backlash was immediate. Dua Lipa distanced herself from the baby Lollapalooza removed him from the lineup. Then more festivals canceled two shows Elton John and Madonna railed against the misinformation in his comments about HIV. I think there's a new moment. There's definitely a new moment. The baby is a big star and Brown University professor Tricia Rose says The cost to his career is significant. At the same time, she says, the music industry has long tolerated and profited from artists like the baby. There's many, many artists who are promoted by the industry, who are celebrated by the industry because of their quote unquote edgy, extreme behavior. And you know that is a longstanding pattern that has not abated in any way And then you know when they step out of line about when and how they actually live into that identity. Then there's all this sort of, you know we're all about peace, love and

"My name is Ryan. And with me, as always, is Mr Gregory Fotis Gregory. How you doing today? Buscher Post secondary, But we have to do that. One of our producers is out in France right now, but it's join us and And helping out today, so that's kind of awesome. Well, I think we all wish we were there in France eating absolutely with Nutella. That's my favorite way. My grandfather had some French words that he would always say to us when we were kids, and they were obviously jokes, but he would say. Blue Chevrolet Coupe, a blue Chevrolet coupe blue Chevrolet coupe, and he had another one. I'll try to think of it. We had a few of these that were, uh, you'd ask him if he spoke any other languages, and he'd be like I speak a little French blue Chevrolet copay. Um, hopefully we're not offending anybody right now. Yeah. Uh oh, yeah, that's funny. Am Ryan. You are Gregory. Both. Sure everybody. Uh, we are the Wall Street outsiders. We're having a lot of fun getting excited to jump on and do the show with you guys today just kind of a reminder of what we do on the show. You know, we're going to introduce you to our step by step process, which is designed to help you identify where the pros are buying and selling so that you can do the same thing right? Try to buy and sell when the pros are buying. Really, really as simple as that, Um We're also going to be sharing with you. Some of our picks some of R O T a picks of the pics. Gregory and I have come across this week and the prices that we like them out and the prices that we love them, and there's always two different prices. And there's also a very important part about these prices that we've got to remember is it's always below current price right? If it's trading at 10, we're going to like it like eight because that's a discount. Remember, we like discounts. We like to buy things on sale, And this is all about by low and so getting a discount is a great way of buying low. So we have our likes and our loves. You know, I'm a little more of a shorter term, more aggressive trader than And then Gregory. So Gregory usually has a little bit deeper prices so all usually like something at one price, and he'll love it another just to give a few different perspectives on a specific trade that we're we're looking at. So the main point with this, though, is the process here at online training academy really helps us identify turning points. Before they happen, You know, putting us in more of a proactive investing situation rather than a reacting, reactive investing situation. And if you come out to one of the introductory workshops here at online training academy just might help you to best way of doing that. Give us a quick text. Text the word class that C L A s s to the number 210 to 10. That's text The word class to the number text in every class that or two on 0 to 10. We'll get you hooked up now. The thing about this is I've got something special. So listen, um We're going to When you text that word class. You're gonna receive a link. The 1st 10. People who click on that link and register for a workshop are also going to receive our financial quick start kit. And specifically, one of the lessons in there that has a huge value, especially associated with we're going to be talking about in here is the one on multiple time horizons because a lot like how Gregory and I have different price points are likes and loves. That's what multiple time horizons is all about, is what type of style what type of time frame is best suited for. You know your goals for your approach Your risk Tolerance is everything like that. So remember Be one of those 1st 10 to not only text the word class 2 to 10 to 10, but click on that link and get registered. And if you are one of the first tend to do that we are going to be hooking you up today. Gregory was going on right now, man, You know, I've seen us finally break out in the markets finally break out little baby steps at a time, But we pushed through some of those all time highs. You know, not everything is at an all time high. That s and P really did a nice little rally. S and P did a nice rally. We've been talking about them for how long that months. It's been since basically kind of the end of April and finally was able to break through technology really leading the charge on that, As we business said, we've said for a couple weeks rotation. We saw it coming back into technology. We made that call on, you know. Hey, you watch technology of several weeks ago, and sure enough, if you like. When you make a call in and actually turns out, they don't always do that. But That one felt really good and be able to call that one out. We also saw that you know Russell, the Russell two Thousands of small companies just haven't had the move, you know? Yeah. I just haven't had the move. So it's been really the tech in the big companies have broken out now. And really, when you do have those big market market cap companies making the moves, it does make the market move just by kind of definition with their size and and it does give a false sense of performance. And I say a false sense of performance. Because if you're diversified investor, then it works against you. Right if you're really diversified into a number of different kind of mid cap companies, which a lot of people probably are and they say, Oh, the S and P is at all time highs, But I really didn't have any growth. It's like yeah, because Because of diversification, like, you know, that's where you know there's a very famous quote out there from a very famous investor where he says diversification is the first sign of ignorance. You know, it's like, I don't know what I'm gonna do. So I'm just gonna put my money everywhere and with mutual funds different things like that. That's where the average investor usually finds themselves. And so if you're not hitting those all time highs, like the market are That's possibly right, possibly because diversification has you in some underperforming areas and that's holding holding your growth back. And so that's one of the things that we spend a lot of time in here talking about Is identifying high growth, potential opportunities, high growth potential areas of the market. We do some sector rotation breakdowns. We use our step by step core strategy to identify kind of where the money is coming from where the money is going. Gregory mentioned. You know, we've been talking about Tech for a while. A little while ago. We had tech on the bearish side of things, you know, But as of Yeah, 23 weeks ago, it did. It did do an about face and say, uh, you know, I'm the leader of the pack, and it went from it went from hero to zero, and then it went from zero to hero fairly quickly, And so it's gone back and forth. And even you know, Apple was one that we had. On our bearish watch list about a month ago. You know, liking it like and I remember making a big deal out of it because everybody loves apple so much, and it's like it's like we had a shorting opportunity that we had identified about a month ago at 1 28. And sure enough hit that 1 28 area that supply zone that we were able to identify with, uh, with with our core strategy here at online Trade Academy, and it sold off to about 1 24, and then it kind of chopped around for a little bit. Now and even last week as well..

"Huh? Like that's changing shoes. Oh, yes, yes. Shoes as Lieutenant Dan would say you change your socks, at least a couple of times. I'm assuming, um, yeah, that's um I mean, that's it's crazy for me to think about. Yeah. I mean, I don't know if you get this way when you play golf for me the first nine holes. I'm getting loose the next nine. By the time I'm to the 17th holes when I feel like I'm ready to play, Sure, sure, so you know to play. I don't often play 36 in a day or 27 today, but it's not Unusual for me to be on the 16th and think I could play another 18. Right after this. I actually feel good enough to keep going. So you know, you kind of get into a rhythm and, you know, push forward So I'm looking forward to it will be. It'll be fun as the day before my birthday too. I turned. I turned 42 this year. That's it, 42 Yeah, I'm proud of myself. Remembering what? The number one? Yeah. Once you get past like, 34, you have to ask you hold on. Uh, yeah, I'm going to be this old. I turned 30 at the end of the year. And that's that's just like a benchmark year, so I remembered it but 27 28 I, There was times where in my birthday's weird. It's right at the end of a year. So like I'm a 91, baby, but really, I'm a 92. So when I think about my agent, I like 27 20. I think I kind of lost track for a little while, which is a little young to start losing track of your age. By the way, I feel like right, right. Yeah. 80305 51 8885 52 5 50. Alright, we we've talked about talking about Dawson Knox a little bit here because you mentioned Player development, and Knox is one of the guys at the top of your list in terms of how the bills develop him. It's one of the reasons. I mean, I wanted a tight end in free agency. I would have been all about Jonah Smith. I would be interested. In athletic field stretching tight ends and that is not Zach Ertz. So since the Bills didn't go that route, I mean I talked a little bit earlier about. You know, whatever they do Fine. Like, I think they're going to be good if they went out and decided to get Earth's okay. He could help. I just don't think he has to be really worth anything for them. I'd rather see. People said this when I would bring up Johnny Smith. They're like I'd rather see knocks develop. Well, when we talk about Zach hurts. That's when I get to. I'd rather see knocks developed versus Ertz. I'm okay. Let's see if the bills can bring him any further along. Did you read it all? Stephen Ruiz. Um did you read it all his piece that he did. Maybe 23 weeks ago about Zach Ertz. And why the fit schematically with the bills? Just it doesn't make any sense. Yes, I did. Very good. I had him on on sports talk Saturday, right after he wrote that and one of the big reasons I did that was I really loved his points about like where he at this point, his career will likely win from and basically, you know, Zachary's doesn't really represent to me a guy that's going to take snaps away from Dawson Knox. He actually represents a guy to me that would take snaps away from guys like cold cold be easily and Gabe Davis and Emmanuel Sanders and if that's the actual if that's what you're getting. I don't. I don't see the I don't see the need for him. He's not an in line hand in the dirt. Um or even, you know, poses that athleticism that you would necessarily wanted. And frankly, Jeremy, part of the point I want to make here too, is like Don't really know if I need them to like, integrate a tight end into this this offense. I think I like the hierarchy of where the tight end like the importance of the tight end is in this offense, which is like If they make a couple plays in the red Zone. Awesome. Hey, let's you know I like how they use them in shotgun. Dawson Knox is kind of like a de facto fullback, but can get out in space and be matched up against linebackers like I like him. I like Dawson Knox as like a tool they can use. And then you have Hollister, who I actually I don't. I don't mind that move. I think Hollister might be a a decent little fun move for them as a guy that can I think Do some of the things you were talking about. The John Smith could do now. He's not John Smith. But he can be the athletic over the middle, and he's already got a little bit of report with Josh. So it's like, you know, I I don't want them. To prioritize the tight end in this often because I think it's run with receivers. Right? Yeah. When you get to two tight ends, which they might want to do from time time you get to alright, who comes off the field and You know, Sanders is the only guy we don't know about him yet how he'll fit in this offense. He's he's jumped around a lot and enough in the in the league to think he'll fit anywhere because he has fit with the Broncos and the Saints and the Niners. And now with the bills. He almost signed manual Sanders, by the way, almost kind of the bills a couple years back. He's been on the Bills radar for a little bit, And finally, you know the two sides meet here this season. Let's go to the phones. Justin in al Mira. This is just an Al Miro. The.

I mean, so much came out over the course of the last year, she took a break from things, Um I don't know. I feel like when I watched Ellen Spine. She's funny. They like. I think what made me so mad about? Like how that all came out was only celebrities were defending her like we were supposed to believe them, instead of people actually working for her. Does that make sense? Like the pastor's? I want to hear what they have to say, which is what, Obviously that came out and they're being shushed and I well, I always I've always heard she's not the nicest and that kind of broke my heart. But I didn't read authentic from her. That's what I would say is she's funny, but I never read offense. How does she? I do not watch daytime television period. At all ever. But I do know that she ends her show with be kind of people or something like that behind out there. Don't you practice what you preach. Well. They're seriously Emily. Don't you agree with that? Shouldn't you practice what you if you are going to end every single show of telling people to be kind? Don't you think you should live that way, too? Bush. You guys, she broke up with him. Overtaxed. Oh, my God. Excuse me. I am Jew. Okay, That's so my role. That's so jeez how Thera people break up with other people over text in 2020. You choked up for you, madam. Emotional. I'm emotional, but I learned this because of US Weekly. And Caitlin over at US Weekly said in an exclusive interview that rebel Wilson broke up with Jacob Bush over text message quote. He was blindsided. Now I want to read this story to you because I think it's hilarious that we could just have fun with the lies that contained in this article. But I just want to state the It's so obvious, right? She totally broke up with him over text because now she's sexy and she can dump men. Whenever, and however she chooses because she's no longer £66 heavier. Blew up, okay? I'm being sarcastic. I know I want you to read this, but I While you're reading it. Can I just I want people to hold this in their mind. Perhaps her people have overcorrected. Meaning? They've gone too far in trying to make her look like this independent woman Now she just looks like a real Be? Yeah, No, absolutely. That's not an understatement it all and that's in fact what they're doing. They're trying to make her as as lazy as the narrative Woz since last year that rebel Wilson Was on a year of health and it got real lazy at the point that she quote lost all this weight and then every story, Woz look at her looking fabulous without all this weight. Look at her shopping without all this way. Look at her picking her nose without all this weight. Look at her getting a boyfriend without all this weight. Look at her getting a sexy boyfriend who's got lots of money, and she's jetting around to paradise. After losing all this weight, these air the narratives or this is the narrative that has been like pushed out to us for the last year and now The obvious. It's so obvious conclusion of this publication ship. This relationship for publicity is that she can't just you know, they can't just go their separate ways which would be problematic enough. No. No, she dumped his behind. Overtaxed. So here's the story, according to an insider who confirmed the split toe US weekly exclusively. That means they just Called us Weekly that you know what? I'm gonna drop all these details. Just this Catherine Lady over in US Weekly. By the way, it's clearly rebel Wilson's people who? Yeah, sorry. This never should have made that clear. It already was clear. Uh, which is for the uninitiated. I want everybody on the same page. Yes, thank you. Quote. They went to Aspen right before the holidays and had a blast. Then he left for Florida to be with his family, and he invited her because he really wanted her to meet them. But she never committed to doing that. They talked all throughout the holidays and had an excellent communication. But then all of a sudden she got really quiet and broke up with him via text message about like, two or 23 weeks ago. He did not take the split very well. He was really upset. It was really hurtful to him, Um Yes. You know what? I'm second guessing this still they maintained he was harboring Noel Well towards her the isn't it? Romantic stars. Access. Been crazy about her since 2019. He just couldn't get enough. What? Now I'm starting to think Maybe this came from his camp. He is being used left right and center and has been from the beginning. I guarantee you he's just signing his name off on stuff. But please make your case well, just because it makes her sound as we said, like, kind of a B word. And also Like she went crazy, silent. She like it doesn't paint her in a very good light, and it makes him sound like he's really hurt genuinely about this break up. Which I don't know. I could be talked into either way about this. Yeah, To me. I mean, I don't think he has any people to manage it. That's why he sounds real sloppy. I just think it's clear that her people want her toe toe look like she can drop, man. Yeah, she could drop men left and right now, and the only plausible way to do that is to make it look like because it Z. I mean, who knows? Who knows They US weekly could have completely fabricated this entire thing out of whole cloth, And that's entirely possible. But in my mind when we talk about poblacion ships, the whole purpose of the population ship is to serve the actor's ability. To get headlines. It is not toe necessarily make them look like the best people in the world, right? And and in this particular case, it has been so ham handed Fisted. I don't know. Is that a ham hand or him? Thing? I feel like it's a full hand make you some ham sandwiches..

"Out of all the experts when schefty and more nah, these NFL network guys are all on the bandwagon that they think it's really really possible. That dish on Watson gets traded. We were just taking a bunch of more calls. It was Doug Kezirian that I heard for the first time Saito us 23 weeks ago that if he was setting, and I think he surprised you that if he was setting the odds of you was handicapping yet. He would say that the Shawn's going to get traded. Yeah, Zhar to envision a scenario just when you're just starting to discuss it. Where a team would be stupid enough to take a and established young star quality quarterback in trade him when it's the most difficult position. Who find a difference maker at in all of sports. Yeah, so I dug not only sees the games and sees the lines he could see the big picture sees the light. He sees a light. That's why he's awesome. He's in Vegas. You see him on ESPN TV. Get his own podcast is well, and he joins us all football season on Fridays to set up his best bets. What's going on, dawg? Not that much, fellas. Thanks for the introduction. I appreciate it. Yeah, It's one of those things where you know, it's like, hopefully none of us have been in that position. But we have a good friend who You know, gotta got issues with their significant other. You just kind of know how this is gonna end. Not well, right? And I think I don't see how it you know, they all repair and clear the air and just one giant misunderstanding. So Maybe hopefully for your listeners out there. The Bears, um can land their quarterback the next franchise quarterback and Watson. But speaking of franchise quarterback Big news with my home's right any doubt that that I mean, listen, we're not none of us are doctors. But you had to think even on Monday that there was a very good chance Mahomes was gonna be cleared to play in this game. Correct. Right, and the betting market reflected it actually wrote something today opposed to today for for, um, ESPN Shock section. It's Sunday night. Like while all of us were kind of hanging on the edge. Like Sunday night, the oddsmakers get three and there's like, all right, Fire away bed into this. You know the answer. Ji is there but, um I wrote something. Basically paying. Oddsmakers say that it may not even move the 3.5. If it does move, it would only be the 3.5 because three such a key number. We talked about it. The most common margin of victory in NFL history with the X point moved back. In 2015. The 14.4% of NFL games have decided by exactly three points of three such a key number, an NFL odd making, and it was already baked into that and you know it. They moved the 3.5. So obviously that's a big move. Now they get 100% knowledge that Mahomes is playing and it's you know, the public was already betting buffalo plus three, so it is interesting. That they did move into 3.5, but it makes sense for sure. Doug Assyrian joins us right now in the Corona Hotline. It's Waddle and Sylvie on ESPN. 1000. So the Sharps then are going with the Chiefs. Is that what you're telling me? Well, look, there is the public was on on the underdog. The bills. Some Sharps is well think the bills are alive Dog. I think so Much of it is the toe injury more than anything in the home and You know the market kind of such city settling the place. But Sharps had never all on one side, right? Like very rare. There's gonna be sharks like professional bettors respect expected money, all that stuff. That's gonna be on. You know, both sides of every game, and so were the line moves. The late moves are usually the right moves. And so this is trickling up to 3.5, which is a big move like we just talked about, Um, question is where does it settle on Sunday? Like the total. Here I see is a 54.5. How do you feel about that? And when you get to a championship game does your evaluation of what the total will be? Do you factor in like maybe a coach. It's never been in an NFC NFC title game. How a team will play well. They play closer to the vest because there is so much it's steak. How do you evaluate where you want to go with the total? Yeah, I know. There's a lot of like different schools of thought on that right? And I mean, obviously having played bottle You know, this is just It's just really hard to predict. And I always say this like, you know, It's not just players that sometimes Joe coaches and referees sometimes joke as well. We've seen that in all sports across threat, the history of sports, but I think it's important member like the NFL's the hardest sport to handicap. Because of the eagle, Just like expect the unexpected. You know, the game plan can throw you giant curveballs and you just as much as you want to think that something's gonna happen to you know if they could just completely zig when the opposing team thinks they're gonna zag, and that's the element of surprise to large component of handicapping. But you have a feel either way, whether this will be a high school. Yeah, I would lean under. I think I think under bookings, I think I think the bill's gonna try to run the ball board they didn't have to last week. Against Baltimore because their defense is playing so well, but I would try to run the ball. I know they like, never do it, But that's just a hunch, right? I think you don't want to get into a shootout with Kansas City. Um With my home, So that is obviously handy would be a different story. So I don't think you're gonna want to, like, control the clock shorten the game. That kind of stuff. Especially when my homes they do find themselves in like 30 long and quite a bit. And if you could just kind of minimize their conversions, you're good. What is what is the juiciest bet right now out there for the weekend that you like the most. I'm on the NFC game a lot more than I am on the A F C game. I just think that I'm like a safe the coin flip game, but with the point spread, it's a really tough call. Like I could see the bills going into heroin and winning right. They've covered nine of 10 or whatever it is. Kansas City's only covered once since, like Halloween, But they've also some of those air backdoor covers. They love Miami Dolphins 30 and they lead Tampa Bay on the road, 17 nothing in the first quarter. There's still a judge or not. Let's not sleep on them. They were. They were winning comfortably against Cleveland before my home's got hurt, so there's still a juggernaut. Any re still great. They're better than last year's team. But the bills are also really solid. So I'm gonna pass on that game. All things considered, but I really like the Packers minus three. Now, Most shops have moved up the 3.5. But I love I mean, love this one crossed with Brady. Under 38 behalf, passing attempts on your leg like weird that's like a fantasy that so here's the deal. Uh, the Packers leave the NFL during the regular season in time of possession. And there's and they like the second fewest points. I think it's like 11 like only the jet had had fewer punch, but the Jets turn the ball over budget, all set to go for the fourth down a lot. So I mean, just what the Packers did securing the ball there. Top gear top 3rd and 3rd down conversion. So like they just don't give up the ball right..

"He's bill writer and people can't stop listening. It's righter than you with Bill writer are welcome back into the show Bill writer with you What's up? Thanks for hanging out before we get into our man, I guess our second to last NFL gambling segment of the year in the last has multiple games. I got a live program here with the executive producer Tom DiBenedetto program Directors love this producers love it. Great radio live programs show right here on the show, Tom. I went six and one last night. And felt really good about those pics. We'll put a little extra down for myself and the last time I was on that show. They're gambling show at six Eastern. Maybe 23 weeks ago, I went 81. One. Want fire, But I want to do it here on the program. The problem becomes, it's really hard. Do NBA gambling picks this time because so many things can change, especially this year, all the rest between now and tip off. I don't really know how we get our arms around that. Yeah, that is a little bit of a challenge. I guess it's possible you could. We could do something like words like a roving segment. We're on certain days in certain spots where something seems confident. We just jump in with the best writer quickly to three minutes on it. And and move on. I guess like I could do caveat. If Embiid is playing, then you want to bet Philly if he's not that's true to that work Russia yesterday and I was I was so sure Durant was gonna go over the 26 a half now. Did the double overtime help? Of course it did. But the reality is he got that even before even before regulation came to an end. All right. Well, we want to bring you some MBA gambling and some insight and frankly Doom. I did well in the NFL this year with pigs. I did pretty well over 500. I'm just I'm just on fire. Even if my homes is in I'm going to take the bills just for Josh Allen to throw for 300 to 2 Step on digs for over 150 yards receiving. Thanks, guys. Yeah, Brother. Thank you. Love the prediction. "Obviously, the big news of the day, John Elway. Is stepping down his general manager. He is going to step aside from that role and stay on as director of football operations, which means the Broncos are in the market for a new GM. And the president of football operations. John Elway joins us now it first things first. John. Congratulations on number seven. That would be the seventh grandchild. Big Al's eyes lit up when he heard that today. Uh, well, thank you Know, I'm excited. Yeah, Learned another baby boy. So Mama's doing good. So, Yeah, I'm really excited about it. And it's hard to believe that, uh We got seven grand kids, but Pretty fun being a grandfather. So let's enjoy it. So John, obviously this is was not an easy decision for you to make and it is something that you were contemplating. You said today that you've been thinking about it for the last couple of years on what that exit plan would look like. When did you know that this is what you were going to do and you know you're going to do it at the end of this year. You know, I think that really started thinking a lot about it probably 23 weeks ago. And you know, at some conversation with Joe, and so I think that You know what I mean? I really started thinking about it instead of thinking about work. My role in my job here. I started looking at, you know, really? Where am I in my life? And what do I want to do with the rest of my life turning 60 this year? Obviously, the runway is getting shorter and so really kind of said, you know, and I really had a, you know. When I first got into this job, I was hoping for the opportunity some point kind of be able Move up into the role that I'm going to and be able to Oversee things and still being connected with the Broncos, a part of the Broncos but not running the day to day operations. And so I said, You know, they're really that Or the decision came is that you know the day to day things, and they have more time personal time that decided this was the right time to do it 10 years as a GM of the Denver Broncos, John, What did you learn about being a GM that you couldn't have known before? This process? You know, I think that If anything, I think that you learn that it's a tough job. This is a tough business. And you know you could do so much at the GM position, But then you know, you have to find the right people that they're gonna be able to. Win football games and coach and do those things. And so you know you even though you have control on decisions, you don't have a lot of control of what goes on to the field. And so I think that that is, you know, the Really candidate, the tough feeling of not having be able to have more of an outcome of how we win football games and those type things, especially having my career that You know, I got to tell the press the ball every down. So you know, to be able to watch games and not be able to help at the time, I think is probably the toughest thing. You know. I've I've talked long on. Um on Dad had some pretty tough talks about losing as a player in this league is something that you don't know a whole lot about. But, uh, these last four years, no one knowing you and knowing how competitive you are and how You want to just win? How tough was it these last four years not to have the kind of success that you really are used to. Yeah, I know it was hard for you know that. I mean, that's like, you know, I always thought the older I get the my competitive nature may die down, but You know what? Actually, if anything, it gets you get more competitive, Least I I felt like I have because you don't want to be able to win. And, you know, give these guys you know opportunities to be successful and compete for world championships and so Um, you know that but losing part it was, you know, I left the stadium last night Had that pit in my stomach and it was like, you know what? I think it Z timeto. You to move up a little bit and get away from this and you know, so that zoo losing is it never gets any easier. Just gets tougher, John. They're seven GM openings around the league right now and That screams that there's gonna be some guys out there that are getting their first opportunity in that role. What are you looking for? For the Denver Broncos? What are those qualities that the next GM is gonna have to have? You know, I think that you know there's gonna be with all the candidates and hopefully we're able to get you know Bill to talk to the candidates would be the best fit for the Broncos. I think obviously. You know, in that role, you have to have somebody that has that's a good manager. Because the size of the organization and the people that we have that you have to manage now continues to grow here and you're out. Obviously, you have to get great football knowledge and, you know very you know if he's making the decisions on the on the roster like you will be, you know you want him to be a very good evaluate or two, so You know, there's a lot of qualities that you know to be a great GM, or it's a tough job. And so hopefully we can find that person and by as we talk to different people. Gonna say you know, this guy might be a good fit over this because maybe he's more of a manager or he's more of an evaluator. Or how would your you know? Personnel Park Department be set up, which which also tell us that you know what kind of manager and whether they want a strong evaluator is the player personnel director or whatnot? John, you know, uh, everybody, I think that are that that is a football fan out. There probably have seen the movie draft day with Kevin Costner and he has to do all these extravagant. Deals on draft day to make these things work, but I know and you know that that's not how I really goes. What's a normal day of a GM like Well, I mean, I think that you're you know, you're here all the time. I think it's you know the hours that you put in and then people that you manage and when something's going on there always. You know, you've got to answer those questions. And so It's just a full time job. And there's not a lot of time that you could go and not be around and not be around for the head coach and the coaching staff as well as a personnel people, and then all the other things that go along with You know, managing whether beater for video or equipment or all those type things that you have to manage all those people, John, obviously, with seven openings that there are, how quickly are you looking to reach out and ask for permission to talk to folks who may currently be employed? Yeah. You know what we'd like to do that We're gonna do that soon, And so the idea of now is to get through today and then you know, we're already looking at list and see looking at the list that's available in the people are out there and and About Eun evaluation to see which people those we want to talk to, and then hopefully get him set up. Assumes he possibly can. You know one of one of the things that you know If I was on that list as possible GM, I would want to be able to have control over Who the head coaches with this GM coming in have control over whether or not Victor Angio gets to stay. No. No, that that's going to be here next year, So that's gonna be that's gonna be a part of the job that when the GM comes in that the vic in the staff are going to stay this year, and and, you know, I think that whoever that may be, hopefully accept that and understand that that situation then way it's gonna be John, if you were to look back. I mean, you obviously got to hoist a Super Bowl trophy for Super Bowl 50. But in your 10 year of being general manager of the Denver Broncos, what was one of those moments that just you just couldn't believe this happened? And it went this way..

"Chiefs and the Texans. Do you remember that game and how crazy that was, Because that game that was so much fun, wasn't it? Do you remember that game Because the beginning of it is insanity. I mean, you have the Houston Texans going to Kansas City, which remember when the Texans were good and fun to watch. Just last year, um They're in Kansas City and in the first quarter, I mean, they just racked up the score, man. They went wild. They were up. I want to say 24 to nothing 26 to nothing, Something like that. They put up ah crazy amount of points in the first quarter and shut out Kansas City and then in the second quarter Kansas City Just like Well, I guess we're going to start playing the game. Now. Now you've made me angry, and suddenly they put up 28 points. I believe it is in the second quarter, and now they go to halftime with the lead. They went with a lead in the half time was like, how did they? How is this possible? This'd is unbelievable. But that was a sign of who the Chiefs were. And when you were getting ready for the Super Bowl, That's exactly what you looked at You go. Did you remember what they did to the Texans just 23 weeks ago. How do you not look back in that game ago? Yes, This is a Kansas City team that's going to win it all and then, sure enough, you get to the Super Bowl and there's 10 minutes left or five minutes left and they're down 10 and they just come back and they win the game. But to watch that in Houston, and it's remarkable to because from the Houston side, you think of that playoff game. And Bill O'Brien should have been fired there. We all knew it. Everybody knew it. That was the time to do it. They had this massive lead. They blew the whole thing, and it just felt like it was over. And they still brought him back and they trade DeAndre Hopkins. And the whole thing is just a mess. JJ what it sounds like he wants out of there in the worst way, so Anyway, 855 to 1 to 4 to 2 7/8. I joined the show. I'm Vince Quinn saying goodbye to you in 2020. Goodbye, 2020 Forget you and again. We know the real version of that. But I want to hear resolutions that have been completed. Give.

Asian stocks see muted start to third quarter
"In a muted fashion invested, assessing mixed economic data, all amid concerns about the spread of the Corona virus. Onyx guests expecting markets to continue to be volatile in the second half of this year. 200 is Asia and Europe. CIA Deutsche Bank Wealth management. Do I thank you very much indeed. For joining us a brand new quarter after the best quarter we've seen in 11 years for many markets. Tell us about it. What do you expect? I think, after other strong ready we have seen now in the second quarter. I think quota would rather the from our perspective more sideways one but obviously with volatility. Because we think a lot already been privately owned, and we are seeing a higher number of infection coming up mostly coming from the US, So there's still some risk around, so we don't expect obviously. Similar quarter like second quarter more sideways. Absolutely. I mean, it seems the good news or possible. Good news has been priced in. But none of the bad has bean. At least it hasn't been for the last month or so. What is going to have to change in order for some of that euphoria to come out? I think the markets as you also write that pricing in off course now re opening ofthe economy, So I mentioned we are seeing continuous number off infection Rising. The U. S, has the highest seven day average since the outbreak. In March. So hence way think if it doesn't lead to a second lock down. Than the market should at least be quite robots. In this regard. We can imagine there might be some profit taking or over the past 23 weeks. Whenever there was some weakness in the markets it could stabilized so like last week When we saw in the US the S and P 500 wass close to 3000 again Today we object to 3100 So I think the light positioning Is also a reason why markets didn't correct that much as maybe many have expected because a lot off investor waiting on the sideline. Both who have missed that, really, and waiting for an opportunity to step in. So hence we are not expecting major outbreak in each direction tends more sideways one but Again if The number off infection would potentially lead to a second lock down then this would be a better new bed news and the market clearly, heaven price in this scenario. To honor no doubt You're right. But you know you could talk about a W V or you pair shaped whatever type of recovery you want to look at. The question isn't we've got other wolves of worry identified. Someone was about election coming up in the US. We've also got rising tensions, of course between Beijing and Washington, not least over Hong Kong, but other matters. Much again. Will you take me for people? I couldn't begin to recognize those, and actually, then Start looking the markets looking as though they are fairly Pollyannish. Absolutely. I mean, you don't even have to look too far ahead. Next week onwards, we starting second quarter earnings season. And even bold, The downward revision. It's continuing your vote at a slower pace, but as the own no supposed to know it Oh, and supposed to be the worst quarter since the Second World War. This supposed to be president. But like in the first quarter, we have also seen some companies, of course, but also disappointing friends. That would also be interesting to see how the markets are taking. Second quarter earnings release and would also be interesting to see These companies now finally making some prediction how the rest of the year will play out. But if you also rightly pointed out, if we look a little bit further ahead, I think US election would clearly be One ofthe key risk. We are seeing a TTE a moment. If this election then it looks like that Biden will have here a clear edge over Trump. And if I look at Europe off course Brexit still ongoing discussion here in Europe and then the usual U. S and China attention or bowl. We are Not expecting here. Any disruption for the face one deal at this moment.
