How the Women's Soccer Deal Favors Women Over Men

"The women's soccer is the U.S. soccer federation announced that men's and women's teams will be paid equally. And I just want to throw out some facts for you guys because we live in a world of delusion. And to think that you can not add equal value, get the same amount of money. Let me read from a breitbart article. It says, while the agreement is being called equal pay, the deal actually heavily favors the women. Women's soccer has far fewer fans, both watching on TV and going to the stadiums, obviously. The 2019 Women's World Cup for sure reached off a certain, for instance, let me say it that way. I reached a record high of 1.2 or 1.12 billion viewers across the world. And I know a lot of people that are listening are probably saying, man, that's a lot of you is 1.2 or 1.12 billion viewers across the world. But mind you, the man on the other hand had 3.5 billion viewers across the world and they earned $6 billion of profit. The earn and disparity is nothing new because, for example, in 2010, men's cup earned $4 billion in revenue, but the women's cup that year earned only 73 million,

Who Are Catherine Engelbrecht and Gregg Phillips?

"Catherine Gregg, welcome to America first one on one. Thanks for having us. Thank you. All right, so let's start with just a quick introduction. What you do, what your background is, Catherine, talk to us about a true the vote and then Greg your credentials, your qualifications, to collect the data for this movie. Let's start with you, Catherine. I started true the vote in 2010, quite by accident. I thought that there was a need for people to go and work at the polls. We didn't have enough volunteers. And so we set out to build those gaps and one thing led to the next, we saw problems at the polls. We wondered why the voter roll data was in shambles and that began our very first research project flash forward 12 years later and we have studied over these many years, the inch by inch by inch subversion of process. And never more never more so than 2020. And that's when I brought in my longtime business partner Greg Phillips to help us take a different tack on evaluating what really happened in the 2020 election. So you were a private citizen, just concerned about the integrity of our elections, created this organization ended up testifying before Congress and then through their vote becomes this incredible influence for fair and transparent elections. Okay, Greg, talk to us about what you've done in the past, what your qualifications are and what you brought to the table for 2000 mules. I got into politics in 1982. Now what is that? 40 years ago. So it's pretty amazing. Since then, I've had the great opportunity and great fortune to work and 22 countries. On elections, I've worked in the United States. Really mostly in the south, but really across the United States. And since Catherine and I connected and started working on this project, it has been a real clarifying opportunity for us to begin to describe the work that we

"What exactly are they so historical about what you proposed I honestly mean what did you propose that all of a sudden you want massive increase in taxes on the middle class So it was really controversial I said you know what We all ought to get back to work And we all ought to be part of this capitalistic system So here's what I believe I believe that if you're able bodied we ought to get you back to work I did a governor My whole slogan in 2010 when I ran was let's get to work And so then we all participate in this but think about where we are The Biden agenda I mean this guy I mean first off how do you look today He didn't even know what state I was from right He didn't know I would say it was fun And it was an agenda He had a press conference about what he was going to do about inflation He had no plan He just blamed people So here's where we are 8 and a half percent inflation highest in 40 years we've got our wages growing slower than inflation We've got gas prices the heist ever in the history of the country We've got our GDP dropping we've got mortgage rates going up We got consumer consumer conference way down and this guy wants to blame everything on everybody else Oh by the way he wants to say he's the guy that wants to reduce taxes Think about what this guy has done When he got to the Senate all he's done is raise taxes and raise the federal debt when he came to D.C. the federal debt was under a trillion It's $30 trillion in his plan is to $45 trillion He's confused You know what I'm a business guy He was in business You know we'd ask him to do to show you need to resign This is working out for you You don't know how to do this And he doesn't He needs to resign That way we can get somebody in there that maybe will start listing and fix this problem

Why the Old Animosity Between Left and Right Is Dead

"Scott Rasmussen and Doug schoen were really ahead of the curve back in 2010 with their book mad as hell on the Tea Party movement. And they right there said, based on the data that they were analyzing, that the old animosity between Republican and Democrat or Tory and labor conservative and liberal, the tended to be functioning around economic issues, that was dead and a new political division was opening up. And that's the people versus the permanent political class. And there was this radical sense that the political class governs according to their own values, their own interests, their own concerns, they're becoming increasingly alienated from the values interest and concerns of the people. We've got data, for example, from the chatham House of think tank in Britain, that found that nearly 70% of MPs, so political class believed that immigration was always good for Britain. Whereas only 20% of the population actually believed that. So you could see this massive divide growing. And that's what makes Trump so amazing. Out of the 15 or 16 GOP candidates and back in 2016, he was the only one that tapped into that new paradigm of the people versus the political class, and that could make us that could put us against Republicans, IE Romney, every bit as much as it could pit us against

It is hard to keep up with you the amount of content you put out there. For those who missed our last discussion, it just give us a little potted of who Steve is. What he studied and what you talk about most often. Yeah, thank you for that. I started a YouTube channel about 5 and a half years ago is actually November 1st, 2016. Of course, when an election was coming up right around that time. And I predicted that Donald Trump was going to win because I thought this was going to be a Brexit election based on the studies that I did at Durham university with where I got my PhD out across the pond there. I came across some studies called post secular study. This is back in 2009 or so 2010. And they basically were making the argument that the old globalist world order is more or less dead and a much more traditionalist national sovereignty based world order was rising. I didn't believe it at the time. I didn't have any evidence of that with Obama. They were using Russia as an example or India or some Middle Eastern nations and I just thought that was so far removed. But when I started seeing Brexit heat up, that's when I started to see, oh, so this is what they're talking about. And then when Donald Trump on the campaign trail started referring to himself as call me mister Brexit. I realized we've got something. There's some trends here that are very predictive and thank God they brought you and others like you into the sphere of The White House and I've been doing it ever since November 1st, 20 2016. "Supplier prices rose now what are supplier prices They're the prices that companies pay for material To make stuff or to sell stuff supplier prices rose 11.2% from a year ago on March the biggest gain on record It's called the producer price index Measures prices pay by wholesalers That rose 1.4% in March 11.2% from a year ago both records for data going back to 2010 Prices for final demand goods led with a 2.3% monthly rise while services prices gained .9% and the release of these numbers today come after the bureau of labor statistics reported the consumer price index for you searched 8 and a half percent year over year Now that's not even true Because if you include food and housing it's way above that Way above that The government manipulates its own numbers of war private company everybody would be arrested And so Joe Biden is trying to blame everything on Vladimir Putin because they know you hate Putin I despise Putin But this is Biden and the Democrat party and they're doing exactly the wrong things The prices that goods and services producers receive rose in March at the fastest pace since records have been kept Said the bureau of labor statistics

Is Middle America Turning Red?

"Now, sleep. I put in the category of Jonathan Swan Joshua, who's just a straight down in the middle reporter. He has a call not on Iowa this morning, Jonathan. Iowa has gone from purple to red to deep red. They're not going to have any congressman standing. They're not even going to have a senator on the ballot against chuck grassley, which is malpractice. I think that's happening in Pennsylvania as well. Just take us up to 30,000 feet. You cover politics. I'm going to come back to a couple of issues in a second, but up at 30,000 feet. Do you see all of the blue washing out of the non coastal areas and the heartland of the country's red? It's certainly been the very pronounced trend. And I mean, the problem with this year as something to sort of draw 30,000 foot conclusions is the best political environment for Republicans in 2010. And so you could have some really astonishing results that are atypical. But yeah, absolutely. As a macro trend for sure, that's what's happening. And Democrats don't really seem to have answers for it. I'm not seeing any anyway from the national leadership.

Mark Bauerlein and Eric Discuss Millennials and Cancel Culture

"I'm talking to Mark Bauer line. He is the author of a new book, the dumbest generation grows up. Mark, you just said something really, I thought very interesting. That something about the way the Internet works, social media works, kind of groomed this generation to be the Vanguard of cancel culture, that as soon as you see something you don't like, boom, you get rid of it. Now we know that cancel culture is fundamentally Marxism, atheism. It's this idea that I don't need to be gracious to my enemies or love my enemies or have dialog with my enemies or pray for my enemies. I need to wipe them out. It's a secular humanist view of reality. And I think that as the church has taken a step back or allowed itself to be pushed back, this robust view that has existed for such a long time in the west and certainly in the United States for two and a half centuries. It's been pushed away. And really, this is what comes in rather naturally is this brutal Maoist Chinese cultural revolution dictatorship of the youth. I mean, it's a kind of a strange thing to see happening in our time. And yet it's exactly what it is. What is happening? Well, it's interesting you bring up the communist revolutions, China. We could add Cambodia. How much were the very young instruments of the punishments and the discipline that went on? Back then. Certainly, that was true. And the young or their zealous in a way that a lot of older people are not. And so the cancel culture, which you said a few minutes ago, you talked about how delicate our democratic freedoms are. What we've learned is really just how fragile this pluralistic society that we have achieved is. It's almost miraculous that we haven't sunk into these forms of totalitarianism before. What the kids could do in those crucial years when their civic sense was forming is they could create an all affirming reality for themselves, right? They could simply surround themselves with only the agreeable things. They could shut out the disagreeable things. It was the daily mean that that was the phrase for it back in 2010. Why should I have to hear something that offends me? And not only do I have to just leave, no, no. I'm going to make you shut up.

Why Mark Meckler Is a Proponent of the Convention of States

"At the NRB in Nashville. I'm sitting down with Mark meckler. If you know of him, it's perhaps because you're familiar with something called the convention of states. I've been talking to Rick santorum about that. Mark meckler welcome. Thanks for having me. How did you come to this idea of I want to talk about what the convention of states is. But what is your story about how you came to be a proponent of this idea? Because this is very big stuff. There's no way around it. The idea of a convention state is in the constitution, no one has ever done it in 200 and whatever 40 years. No one has ever done this. Nobody's even threatened to do it. And threatening to do it, you and Rick santorum and others, I approve of it dramatically wholeheartedly. I'm excited. But how did you get you, Mark meckler, to this point? I mean, in short version 11 years ago, I was one of the people to start the Tea Party movement. So in 2010, we get this incredible wave election, the biggest swing Congress since 1938. And they don't do anything. I mean, it literally don't do anything nothing changes. They do Jack. Right. And then we get the center. They didn't do anything. It's that they did do Jack. Well, so then you get the Senate. They told us if we just had the Senate and then they don't do Jack or they do Jack again. Yeah. Right? And then I just thought, well, it doesn't work. Nothing's working. That's 8th grade civics, right? If you elect the right people, they'll do what you send them to do, but it doesn't actually work that way. And I had a friend by the name of Mike Ferris came to me. He's really the founder of the homeschool movement in America. Asked me if I was happy with what I had accomplished in politics. And you would think having helped to elect the largest swing class in history, I'd be pretty excited. And my answer was, no, it's I'm frustrated. I'm wasting my life. It's dismal. It seems to me like correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like so you get these people elected. They go to Washington, but there is something inherently pernicious about Washington, D.C.. It does something to people that is not good, and so you're thinking, okay, what is the way out of this mess? Well, so what fair says to me is you're approaching the problem incorrectly. You think we have a personnel problem, but we have a structure problem, which is

The Difference Between Nancy Pelosi and AOC

"An interesting point here and I think it might be from the author side of you and from the study side that both of us have a little bit of history. You might have mentioned a Pelosi being as progressive as a say, I don't deserve to disagree with you. There's one big difference in the two. Nancy Pelosi knows how to get things done. AOC does not. She is a YouTube star. And Twitter star. Nancy Pelosi actually knows how, I mean, here's the thing I've said about this and I'll say it now is you turn a little bit to politics. We as Republicans are conservatives in particular have to be willing to do and this is the only area I'll say this in for the most part. Do what Democrats are willing to do. Nancy Pelosi twice now has been willing to give up position and power for policy. She did in 2010 when she was first speaker for ObamaCare, Dodd Frank, those kind of things, which, by the way, are still in existence. She spent 8 years in exile. She's now came back out to the speakership and she's pushing through, you know, the stuff that we've seen, the stimulus package, the infrastructure Bill, and then almost almost got a build back better package, it was disastrous.

Now we don't often tell people about him and just things that bother us certain words, certain phrases, certain things people do. The other night we were watching the TV news and for the 3 millionth time this month, the TV anchor said, that's why we say turn around, don't drown. And my wife went off. I'm so tired of hearing that. We know that by now. Nashville of course happens to be flood prone. And I'm not just talking the big flood back in 2010. I'm talking the fact that we've had some neighborhood flooding in our town the last couple of days because the ground is so saturated because we don't necessarily get snow and ice all the time during the winter. We just get tons of rain. And we've had a ton of it this year, and this past week, three out of 5 days were rain filled, and not just light sprinkles, not just light rains, but huge amounts of rain, which of course the ground can't handle, and things start flooding. But every night on the TV news, you can be guaranteed somebody is going to remind you to turn around and don't drown. What I didn't tell my wife, that's always been one of my pet peeves too. You would think by now people would know it by heart, but obviously they don't.

"Say, it was one of the most historic midterm elections ever in 2010, where Republicans took back the house in a historic fashion. Historic meaning so much power was lost so quickly. But Obama's message was this. Was that Democrats deliver when Republicans just talk? Now, many of you are probably irritated and probably confused by hearing this. Hearing that Barack Obama is lecturing you about how wonderful and lovely things are. But he means it. You see, Obama is not telling Democrats they have to change the actual policy. Obama's not telling people that they have to stop double digit inflation or soaring gas prices or a southern border that is wide open or calling moms and dads domestic terrorists or implementing a radical transgender agenda, no, instead, Obama says you have to just get better at communicating. "This period of time. It's worked for like thirty years. Well alito basically explains that she started she has to bring up these memories to him but he is literally the only one that can save don at this. Sorry not sorry. Yeah but old wounds salt in the wounds. He doesn't matter do that. So of course the skeptic is all now in because i mean this is kind of like one of those scary movie things where it's like. Oh you're going to get the biggest skeptic in the room and he's going to be the one that has to say the anyone who can help. I course of course at least tells into remember why he is travelling before he goes in and it's a basically a blend in where he's going to be attacked yet. Keep one foot in this world right and keep one foot in this world. How does okay does. She starts to hypnotize yup. He opens his eyes. Anything that didn't work he starts walking off and then when he turns he can see his body sitting in the chair and the lisa sitting right in front of her where she was and she kind of like turns her head a little bit to her. Right we're talking wind her because she can feel that he is there and she liked turns and she says like let my voice be your guide which i guess is a way for him to be able to know where to come back to correct so he can dislike wander out has to grab a fucking lantern with him and leave his house at the front door with a lantern who says leaves the house. It's leg dark. there's nothing it's just black. It's complete darkness and he thinks that he sees a glimpse of dalton. But i don't think it was delta. Because he didn't run to get with him as a little boy. Oh possible because he's way in a distance any run so he goes after the little guy and it looked like a little boy in the pictures and they were flipping through so i assume that he saw himself as a child. And he's like pointing jacko kid isn't ending. He like lifts his arm and like points to their right. And when josh turns to see it's the house at the moved from okay well josh goes in. Of course he died he has to. He's gotta find delta hook okay so we see a woman in a wedding dress. Walked right past him up the stairs. This is where i got scared. I jumped at that bitch. Another corner to where the fuck did she come from nowhere. Nowhere out to scare us okay. That's the only part that got scared. I was a little jump scare. He falls her up the stairs. And here's somebody crying. He follows the crying noise and he keeps asking like you seen. My son is not a way to blend. Do not the way to blend in. But i don't know how you would blend. I don't know how you'd blend. I don't know because right. Have you seen the movie. shaun of the dead. it's a spoof legs. Zombie movie fucking. Good they're trying to get out of one place another place and there's all these avi they're what they sound like walking around and like working on their zombie walks so i i thought where i'm like. Oh you got to blend in and start. Walking around. Like a creepy. Has the way words. like you. Barton little fucking lantern sure. Have you seen my son. Have you seen my son. Hey what are you over there. Have you seen my son blending in. You're not acting very natural. Inconspicuous man like come on sedona cash guy. Oh my god. I can't okay okay. So he's upstairs but here's this boy laughing so a leaves. The room starts going.

"Door. And she's like freaking out. Yeah her is shooting all over the place. She's i think bernez like we. We need help. We need help. And then he says the josh like will you help me now. Do you fucking believe me. And josh's mother is like. I think i know somebody who can help you know like how okay tangent for a second. Everybody just know an exercise. How does this work. That's a good question. Are we gonna situation where you're like. Oh this could be my house. And i'll be like i think i know someone who can help. I should like befriend an extra since like. How does this work. Everybody seems to just know an extra sexy like you should have a haunted house. And then i can tell you that i know i bought a brand new house like increase own weird energy in here and i have anybody else's weird energy you. That was the goal. You are weird energy. I think it's the problem. Not mine are weird shit. That's very true. I can attest to the weirdest okay. So now. two guys at josh as their names are specs and tucker who were very funny. Actually they were. There were some funny parts in there too. They were the comic relief that the movie needed the movies. So ten is so much happening and not happening that was tense and they were just kind of like goofy with each other when you tucker staying in their meeting somebody hot on. I'm like i love me some ponding. They're there and it's so funny because they look like the geek squad from best. I guess they're wearing like the white the black tie and they're still there inspector. He's big black glasses and they're basically like you. The rundown of i guess the person they Hires him was a lease. Yes and they're like okay. Well where's the lease and they're basically like well we're the crew that check it out. I tell her that she could come in or have they because he was saying that they needed to weed out. The nut jobs do some preliminary testing and he says that tucker like bites into a hot pocket and i was like good. We need to lock in this movie. I'm really glad this happened. That was a lot but it's funny because this goes into kind of montage there like unpacking. Yeah and then at one point tucker says like he makes his own equipment and one of them looked. I think called where you. I have it in here. It's a view master three. Yeah would you pull that little out your finger and it changes to a different picture as he puts in like kind of like cd shape thing that has like different colored boxes and test you and he like pulls his finger down like it's changes to the next slide and he's like yeah. I make equipment and you. Don't fuck and say oh. My no one's depressed you know and in specs was like making fun of two. But he's broke proud of going back and forth and their heads. It's like one and he's like walking on different room hot. At one point specs is just talking to josh and renamed the living room. Just kind of talking them up. Whatever and tucker using his weird like kaleidoscope lookin thing. And he's like pulling a lever and he changes to a different color creepy ass girl and it's like white flowing gown thing with creepy ass face. Oh yeah it was. Twins always to ira ha. I was later in the. I was hiding blanket speaking on one. I knew as soon as he was by in the hallway and was changing different colors and it was like yellow. Nothing new nothing happened. Buddha happen or anything happen. And i'm like no who's gonna happen. I knew it. So i was like peeking blanket a little bit all one girl twins accent. There's friends yeah. And he freaks out of course of course he was like backpedaling out of the hallway and he likes slowly walks into their room there in backwards and he's like call now. I think he believes there's no more testing ending. They waited an outdoor jobs. They need somehow. So now we meet a lease wasn't to horrible. She was so cute. This kilo woman. She was so sweet s. I liked her much. Is going to be like a little looney to you. Know she was great. She was very patient. sector law. No okay so at least walks in and you can tell the she automatically feel something one hundred percent. She asked to walk through the house and she says to josh to about like. It's nice to see you again or something. Like that. And i was thinking used by that. And she's like. Oh yeah. I've known your mom for a really long time on didn't think about it but you kinda subtle. It comes back at but right now is like how would she have met him. But he would have no recollection of it and it comes back. It does but i was like weird noted noted. She immediately walks into dalton's room and she starts talking to him about like you know i don't know she said i'm here to help or aspects. If he had his sketch pad finish like you were saying like she walks in the house and immediately feel something so she asked if he has his sketch pad. And then rene asked. What is your sketch pad for. Because that is kind of a weird thing to have and he said that elise tells him stuff and he writes it. Yeah or something so they immediately go into donors you're saying and she approaches stolen so sweet. She's like i'm here with your parents like you're handsome. Little boy like she was very right him and then immediately her is like panned up the ceiling. She called it the creep lights off her eyes pants ceiling and now she's like mumbling to specs and he is violently drawing in at cheese starts describing what she's seeing like really quickly he's like you got to slow down and you gotta stood up. She just keeps. She keeps talking. Just keep talking and rambling. She's like a red face. Black arms and legs. Black is whose feet spider fingernails like. It's like she just single much. Rene is trying to understand what they're talking about. Yeah so what's going on what's going on when you see a rene ends up grabbing the sketchbook from spectacle after she keeps being ignored and we see this black figure with a red face and the in the thing that we're devil face that was behind joshua has yet so it was that face on this crazy long body and rene freaks out and like turns the lights on the bedroom. I mean i would too so much. They end up leaving the room and the least says she's not sure if they're ready to hear what she has to say to them but their son is in a coma after falling off a ladder not why he is not with them here in his spiritual body apparently is not there in that. It wasn't the house that was haunted. It was their son. Yup so basically at this point. Everybody's looking here and they're like what is happening because she's just like so factual about it. I know you've gotten some type of medical information on. She because. But i will tell you what i know. What's going on so believe it or not. This is what's happening. So then she sends explaining it further and she starts talking about there being different realms and how there's like a dark realm and it's like you're not mental live there and that's where dole is his astral projection. They know what that is and basically this little boy can leave his body and see himself sleeping so when he's asleep he can just projecting just see himself so apparently he has done that but has strayed too far from his body and if he's like projecting into this darker realm if any of these bad spirits or demons at live in his realm sense that he's not from the realm right and he gets farther away from his body. they can take over his body. How creepy is that shit. Stop it right now. I can't can you imagine somebody coming into your house and telling you.

"Include not even similar at all. I fucking hated it. Yeah it's a creepy song to. Yeah and she hears it because when she turned off from the trash can and looks and one of the windows she sees a little boy dancing record player dancing in her house so she likes starts the lee walking in the next window. She sees him dancing too so she takes off and runs inside when she gets to that area record player in the little boys. He's got so then she's looking around and we see still angled from outside the unlike the swinging glass door into their kitchen. Someone throws it closed. Just close it's fucking on. So she goes to the door to go see like what the hell happened and a creepy little boy running and gigging the damn hallway. I can't. I can't yeah i need. That was keep creepy out. Because you know there's nobody that house true you're right. It's just her and her son was in a coma unreal so which she goes back to her son's room. Yeah it's trash it's completely trashes. There's all kinds of stuff on the floor. Whatever she closes the door behind her but then something it right back up yet so she runs down the hallway to like chase after those creepy little boy and girl stop and she goes into. Her son fosters room. And there's like a wooden rocking chair in the corner. Oh it's behind the doors behind door so she close the door behind her when she gets into the bedroom standing with her back against the closed door and then she looks to her left behind like the bathroom door. There's this wooden rocking horse thing. Just aggressively rocking the corner. Stop so she likes slowly walks over to it and like closes the door limit so she can see. Nothing's on it right. When she grabs a horse. Get to stop shaking or rocking the bedroom door. Flies the fuck up and can't stop it. There's too much there's a lot of movement in the house right now. So she then goes through next door. Which is dalton dalton's room. He's in his bed. Obviously he's laying there and she sees something like under the opening under his arm. Wall do like a shoe sticking. It looks like curtain over it. Yeah so she grabs kind of weird but it's tiny like h does not she gets is like hockey stick to like bring with her great weapon love it and she goes over to little curtain boxing and like put the hockey stick in there and moves it nothing but then the arwa doors fly open on top of the creepy old lady like jumps. Out of the arwa scares the shit. I mean her. It was a little boy. I thought it was old lady. I don't know it looked old and creepy thought. It was a little boy with the hat. I don't know either way. Something live in. That house jumped at her and just took up out of the room. Yeah at this point. She's having some serious breakdown she's like. Why the fuck of my goal. Yes i mean. I get it. I'd be the same way i can't. I can't again do it so later. That day josh gets home and finds that his mother is with a potty and his wife is talking to a priest. Yeah and he's like this sounds like a bad joke pretty soccer or whatever. She tells him what she saw just few hours ago. Yeah and says that whatever was in the other house has now followed them to the new house hundred percent. Wasn't the house ozhan girlfriend. It's the energy that's with you guy. So he basically tells her that she's just overreacting which take pillai down. Your host tackle is down happened. We say every but his mother jumps in yes. He's like basically like. Why are you here to around. Yeah i'd like she's being comforting and she's making t deal with her mother teresa and it'll make you happy to shut up. Shut up a bad. She says that. What rene is saying israel yes in that. She is seen for herself. She had a dream the night before. Yes i can't this park. I can't so she starts explaining her dream. And of course we get the full visual per dream. We do lucky us so her dream was of in that house that she never really been in before so she was in their house and she's like walking down that hallway toward syndrome right. Who and she walks into dalton's room and she sees this like dark figure like a shadow figure a half these crazy as long as and fingers and it's standing next to his bed and she asked the visitor like what does he want and he picks up his creepy as long as my. Gosh yeah and slowly points to dolan and says that he's there for dolton asked it. Who are you an at said. It was a visitor. I said what do you want. It's dalton and she says that the voice that she heard in that dream like still haunts her throughout the day and then the camera pans over to josh as she's telling the story and that demon face is like next to josh's face and only the mom sees it and she freaks out. I freaked out because faced freebie us. It's like this black and red like demon face. That was right next to josh. I yelled and this is what i yelled. Fuck you say wrote in my notes. Got me so good. Here teams one. Okay well listen. I'm i can appreciate the fact that he was able to scare you. I was having a hard time with with the face and it looked like somebody's face. It just been painted black and writing finding creepy. The i thought it was so creepy idle and it might be if it was like a different shape but it looks like a person's head for short did i'm just i i needed. It didn't make you jump at all or anything i didn't. I think it was a part good or in the movie. That i jumped and i think i stated it. Okay because there wasn't any other accu is moving so she breaks out and when we heard something like falling in another room as lab. It's indulgence room. Course which is now locked. They can't get in. They can't get in so they are able to well. I'm pretty sure that josh busselton. I think he busted i guess so. They got through the door. The whole room is a disaster trash. The bed is moved. Its dolton is laying on the flu. They basically paper like following. It's a mess a mess and there's a bunch of like bloody handprint on the sheets on the bed. That are off. Disheveled everywhere and dalton is laying in the middle of the floor. Yes so joshua rene obviously run over to him to make sure that he's okay. Yeah josh's mom is standing at the doorway and just frozen. Yeah.

"I confess. I said they're beautiful craftsman house. I have a question. Yes i don't know what a furnaces i mean i know furnaces i haven't seen one in real life Do do they turn on by themselves. Are they supposed to be an attic. I don't know a lot about them either. Like a lot of would around it for like fiery. I had when i lived in new york. It was something that was kind of like next door garage. Hey downstairs basement level. I don't know it would be an addict. Feel like it's very dangerous. It seems very dangerous because it looks like live fire. And i didn't like that at all. She wasn't concerned. She's like oh creepy furnace. Walk downstairs to poaching light back off and leave. Oh my god. I just okay. So we don't we don't care no. By so that night josh gets home and finally starts interacting with his family. So this is when he is not do she anymore. Pretty quickly in the movies. Playing with the two of his kids yet We see dalton at the top of the stairs just playing with the toy shark and a sore and then the attic door. That's like right next to him. Kind of creeks open. I can't this boy is not afraid of anything. I i would have run the fuck away. No he goes towards it. He goes up the stairs like oh. Somebody opened the door for me. Let me go up alight. Thank you so he goes up there and he tries to trauma light that his mother was struggling with. And he's like half the size that she is. Yeah he ends up falling. Because i've ladders broken correct. I think i don't know if another one broke. Or if it was the same one that she broke into the same one but who knows it was like old looking ladder. Yeah so he ends up just sitting up. He looks like this dark corner the attic. And you just start screaming. Here's this weird like crunching noises which to be fair. That's not annoys that you would you know anticipate hearing in and out. No right no anywhere in your house. That bone breaking salva's pretty bad. It's awful rene. Hear them in her and josh bolt upstairs they check him out just to like look at his head. Make sure he's okay and renee tells them that. The attic is off limits. You're not to go up here anymore. Josh gonna find the lock. I can't k- so right. When rene is about to leave and go downstairs because josh. Already has dalton. Yeah walking down the stairs. Rene sees the box of sheet music that she had been looking for the entire day yet because as she unpacking boxes and when they were like having breakfast in the morning when she was friendly making breakfast and he was like chilling out and get ready for work. She asked him because she was slowly unpacking boxes. And she's like. Have you seen my boxes sheet music. And he did relieve it. She's like no. I saw it here. Like i know we have. I just can't find anywhere if she gets real frustrated right and now it's mysteriously in the attic. How did they get their this demon. Put the sheet music upstairs. Fuck with them. I don't know. But i feel like i. Don't i feel like that's good trick. Fuck with somebody if you're a demon haunting their house and like make it more like magnet hiding box. That's a lot of wasted energy on his part valid. I don't know just keep knocking books off of book as that seems far more dramatic. Maybe he just has to build it up maybe to get to a certain point. So he's like knocked the books off. I moved a heavy box. Like yeah okay. Art david so after they get all the kids to bed. That night rene josh or getting ready for bed. And she apologizes for getting pissy at him that today pretty cute. Thanks for letting her work on her music and she really enjoys it super cute. She teased him and asked him which was his favorite song that she had written in. He starts singing pretends to her as if she wrote a song about him that he like make up on the fly. Thank you so the next morning. Everybody's downstairs except for dalton. Of course so before josh leaves for the day Rene asked him to go wake him up because he's like the only one that's not up. Yeah he goes and calls his name but he doesn't move then you goes over to shaka. He doesn't respond and we see panic. Pure panic which i get it. Yeah yeah so scary because you know there. I thought is like guilt. Because when he was in the attic and he fell when they put him to bed abreu on his head. Right concussion or something like pure panic so the next thing we see him at hospital and rene and jaffer talking to this doctor and he said they did all these. Scans all these tests. There's no sign of like brain trauma. There's nothing coming up in any test right for why he would be in the coma that he's in brigham that we've detected technically yes. He's in a coma. He doesn't react to stimuli. He has no sleep wake cycle. But there's no brain trauma or infection skins are all. It's been coma for like as there's a couple of days like oh my god. It's been a couple of days. I thought it had just been like a couple of hours last night. Because we i see them talking to the doctor i go okay. What could it has brought him. There happened to call an ambulance or something like well. It's been a couple of days. We'll keep testing. And i'm like a couple of what it's worse because the next team has onscreen taxes as three months later. Oh my god three months. That's like spongebob thing. Three months now has three hours later. I need to all right so they have set up this hospital room. Basically in dalton's room and family's house there is a nurse sterilised explaining how to do all these medical things to her son. Choose what she'd be doing that like. Don't you have a nurse at your house. do these things. Why isn't nurse teaching renee how to put it to. Oh maybe she's just there for part of the day so if things happen at night when she's not there she's know how to do it. I don't like it either. But renee looked like she had beside herself designer. Some which i get it. Yeah so the next day. She tries to play piano again. She just can't do it. She's hitting wrong notes. she's not feeling it Then she hears static on the baby monitor from kelly's room yup when she picks it up to listen a little bit closer. A man's voice softly says there is nothing you can do. She's takes the baby monitor walks towards the stairs stays at the bottom continues to listen to the monitor. And i'm like why is she not running up the stairs. If you hear you hear a man boys in your daughter's bedroom no what the fuck. No and then he. The man continues to say. I want it. I want it now. And then just screams it. And that's when she bolts upstairs but.

"She's at her house. And that everybody is a neighbor or delivery man like that's her like sub-conscious hiding the trauma that she created for herself rights okay so both the marshalls meet with one of the patients to ask him about rachel but before he does it gets real weird. It goes down this like confusing rabbit hole of a conversation. Yeah and then he snaps and then the patient kind of goes crazy. It's just a lot of like yeah craziness. Because because they interview like three patients so the first nation they interview. Has this weird. Like sexual fantasy thing he sees is like a sexual innuendo or aluminum. Something or somebody who to have sex with homework or wanting it's weird right and leo says something to him to make him snapping start shaking freaking out in an orderly at two of them have to come escort him away from the table right and i was like. I don't really know what that's about it either. It was. It was just weird weird right but the second patient interview is the most interesting interview. Miss kerns mrs kerns okay you. She killed her husband. She was okay. This is really bad. I thought she was gonna call the ship because she comes over and she is so fucking casual token a cigarette. She straight up chillan. She's talking and leo's like go. You seem like normal ear. And she's like well. is it normal with an axe. And it's like okay hold on us. Let's see what else just say that super anymore. But i'm still intrigued by her right and.

"Different types of movies other than Zombie movies, all that I didn't know I. Just I didn't know about the crazies at all. I just thought this was originally I had no idea Didn't know it was based off any other film or you know that was just a big surprise. Intriguing. In executive producer on the two thousand and ten movie it was. Oh, my God. Okay. That's awesome. Look at the credits at the University George Romero's name. You're like Oh my God because I think he just put his name on it. I don't know if he really had any. Influence, how can? I had no idea that was just a nice surprise. It really was so. The check out of the film. Pretty good at the box office, it was. Up Against shutter island and cop out. But it did do. Worldwide did fifty million. So it's pretty good. Okay. was that what the Cameo Shutter Island Yeah? Martin Scorsese or film. Did you like it? I haven't saw when it first came. I. Remember. Thinking it was that good I haven't seen it in a while I wanted to see you getting stanton. Yeah, I, don't know. So I'd have to see it again, really go if I liked it or not because. I remember seeing it when it came out I wasn't that impressed. I could change my mind. Okay. Okay. Scorsese, Fan. That's true. I am too. But as a horror film I, remember it wasn't as that good. I guess if you take it a different way or whatever. But. When they did the makeup for for. The. Crazies. They said they had. They had different designs for the look of the people that were infected. And the director was really adamant about If anything was happening on their skin, it was related to a real disease. Wow. So they made a constant conscious effort to when designed to make up to actually base it in reality to certain. Diseases that are actually out there and then certain stages of the disease to right. Right. So. If. You remember in the beginning, it starts out with those leads, right? Right. Yeah Yes. So as on. The make got more tasks. Right, and they said that once they get to that point took over three hours. So play the make I. Make like twenty, one separate pieces that they put on own. My God. So the beans and the is were the main focus of the design, but they put everything else in I. believe in it. Was it. What was funny was funny. But the every time they did something with the makeup, they had to go to the director director go. Okay. Why are you doing that? What's that what diseases that based on and they would have to answer? That's wonderful. So then you didn't you slap a bunch of prosthetics and makeup on and call it a virus. I love that. That's fantastic. It totally makes sense. Yeah. I just ended goes along with the film. No, I mean the. Mainly based on rabies but. Okay. They also included tendonitis. And Steven. Johnson Syndrome. What that is, but Allah. It's not just some arbitrary. Hey, let's make them look sick and exactly. Yeah. advil too so. Yeah. Wow. That's fantastic. But doesn't surprise me at all because their attention to detail you know, and then how many how many horror films are based in Iowa? I think that's like. The One? The only one that I know of I don't know I could be wrong but. But. You. Know they're. Like, I said they're watching and I'm like that too many places to hide. You're walking on that at all. That's GonNa work in Miller road and I'm like. It. Doesn't matter. Because if you're walking in, feel the middle of the road, you're still the middle nor and he says that at one point to the wife's. We think we can go. When they want it. Back what magic route thirty two. So Yeah That was just great. So, so good. Pick this week done. There Oh. That's right. Back in your good graces now. Oh. That's money. took. Man Don't breathe Jeez Yeah. Right? There wasn't any Turkey. was. Waiting for I'm glad they didn't have Thanksgiving dinner. Like. When the guy was walking down. The hall had the Pitchfork I. Thought that was a Turkey baster right away. I. Was like Oh. That'd be funny. Based her coming and going excuse. My God. Oh My. That's GonNa be the running joke now. Oh my God. I'll never get past. You're never gonNA. Let me. That's good. inclined. Glad that. Present this year's biggest Turkey. The. Horror Vein, logo on the board. We're going to impregnate you with horror. She is so. All, my God. Logo. Rabbi I saw Turkey baiser. Vein Shop. What's that about? The actual Turkey baster from don't breathe. My God. For thanksgiving. Oh. My God. Oh. Oh. I'm glad to be. Back. Like. Don't breathe. That's not funny. I know. I know and I know you guys are out there with me and I appreciate that and I really do and. Yes. My opinion. I know you love. That's great. Wrong with you but but no. Hereditary. Well, here again, you know I thought you just we'll be right about that. I was right. About hereditary is wrong about it. That's okay. My track record should. Still, pretty good. It's still in the plus column so. Long. Was Sleeping in these hands came out and they tried to pull off what was that I know. My. Oh. Oh. He was just a nightmare what talking.

"Do. I, just I love the fact that it just. STARTS UNRAVELLING IN. It doesn't waste any time like right in the beginning. I mean that baseball game scene is pretty quick pretty early in the film and it doesn't really let go of you after that. I mean, it's just it's Kinda cool is that it's not trying to be a Zombie movie and it could now turned into at all movie now and and then. The whole. The whole thing is that I really liked that he had to shoot the one guy at the beginning and then the whole towns against them at a has they. Everybody. Knows each other and their close and absolutely, and like why did you shoot my father and? Oh. Yeah. There at the funeral parlor and upset and she slaps him and. He's kind of second guessing himself going. Did I really need the shoot 'em? Life the right thing. Oh. Yeah. Oh Yeah. Loved all that absolately, it was A. Really, smart type script. I like that. So yeah, help build the tension. You know you've got layers of that. You know it's not just the virus that you've got. You know the townspeople looking at the sheriff differently now, I mean everything was all peaceful and wonderful, and they read a baseball game, and now it's like wait a minute. You know do we really know this year? Did He? You know as they are all questioning I'm allies Iran and everything, and then that family Locks him in the room and sets the house on fire. All my God. And the scene when the sheriff and his wife were there. And she figures out and realized what happened and she's like Oh, my God, how could you do this? He's the sheriff's like. Your husband, you know the main characters trying to keep her away from home and she just I mean she's just lose in at any. Really feel that whistling whistling. Yeah. You feel. You really feel it. You know it's like. Oh my God. And that's the same family when the white the wife comes to visit her, you know she's like she's a pdf whatever she's a doctor whatever she. Says something's wrong with him. Can you take a look at it? And yeah I'm just tired a repeats himself. Yeah I, it's just it's good. It was good buildup of law. And then it just keeps getting worse and worse and bigger and bigger keeps getting. This thing. Yeah. But yeah. What was kind of really scary about the film is that this is almost something that's happening now I thought. I watching. Holy. Fuck, this is kind of scary. I know this. Happen Dude. Well. Within. Take over here. mind. Military that was going on on like everything was based on. Lies and. They're going to, we're doing. We're GONNA. Try to save everybody only wanted to do was fucking trap. Kill everybody. I'm like Holy Fuck. Dude, he's yeah. Yeah, I, love it like a biological weapon and then and then. They, find the plane, a plane had crashed and hit A. Drinking water it mean for all that to happen. Right? That was not planned. Right? Right. So then that's why they had to nuke the. Yeah, and I, like that too because he's trying to figure out, he's like, okay, they're drinking water. You know who's on this river, how who get I in. So then they're questioning whether or not because they drink the water to. have it. So it was. It was really a very, well done script. It. Kept you on edge You know like I said I mean Yeah you've seen this type of movie a million times, but it was so well done. It kept you on edge and a relationship interested in Any point none, an at any point was taken out of the film I was like either I wasn't moving it was it was very well done and I think they were very detail oriented air. You know you're not shutting now the water you know. There's no way. The middle of summer. You know, forget it even think about it, and then when they get captured by the military. She's pregnant. That's why they separated her because she had a temperature because she's pregnant. They think she sick all that stuff. You know. Being in the with a pitchfork. All. Just, going to say that the pitchfork scene is crazy Drag it in and then killing people are. Like Oh. God. Yeah but you you knew he was gonNA. Just. GonNa get saved at the last second, but it's OK. Again no that it's okay. I can cause the rest of the film. So well done. So I can see I can deal with little things where it's like okay, this little unbelievable but. Everything, else everything else is is on point that correct? Exactly, and we've talked about that times. and. I'M GONNA. Broken record and bring up night of the living dead again because. Perfect example. You know we've we. I know we touched on I. mean he slaps him and it clearly was a total missed, but I didn't care. You. Know. There's so much stuff in that film. It's like didn't bother me because it's so well done in that case in point for this film as well I. Just. You saw. Okay, she's going to. She's not going to die. Some movies go for the throat and they kill like. Radio he he does get her, it gets her in the shoulder. So she's okay you right. Right. But. I just like how it progressing. More and more you know you get into the scenes with the military and all that stuff and. then. Your questioning partner who you know, saved his life many times, and now he's acting weird and now and. So I was like. Man? I? Really. Liked the film. And the funny thing is that I, I remember seeing like half of the movie and I never. I didn't remember the rest of it and I gonNa ask you hit. You'd seen it I was like, how can I? Remember the opening scene because I was like Oh. That's good. I remember seeing that, but then. The rest of the movie could not remember. So I, don't know I. Obviously had seen the movie but not all of it. All. Like. I, mean I. I don't know why I was like a good movie. Why wouldn't I watched the whole film? So something must have happened where it started watching it and. Finish it. Reasons. I own it and I. Just I hadn't watched it and like years saw. To. I like those two may actors. They're really good. Oh. Yeah. They are. Like Dude I. Can combined this movie because i. Could. Moving. Everybody was great and everybody, the deputy, the the the girlfriend at the end I thought that was you know he runs out because of their shag getting his parents. Out of the House and then they shoot it, you know, and then they burn and writing for all my God flame throw him. Burn them up with a flame thrower right in front of her. And then the military guy, and they get him in the back, and then he agrees not to read them out and it's just.

Body, so he could come into this world and they could worship him for. I. Guess. That's what I was trying to figure out. 'cause that was I wasn't really explained. But. Yeah. It was really wasn't. I mean I could see if people just took it for what it was and it went. Okay, I can. You know even then I was like it's still to me wasn't that good of a movie. What's now but I I just I'm like, why am I laughing I shouldn't be. I. Now, I was like come on. Did you feel similarly like the way? I, saw as far as you know up until the point. where she lost her head, I thought it was okay. All right. Unfortunately. Knew it was coming. You did because I told you about it or no? Well, no I. Well, I'd seen clips and. People talking about it whatever Okay. So it was a put I knew it was coming. So. It was like, okay. She can't praise. She opened up the window and allison. Kind. Yeah. Yeah I. Don't know I. Mean Nothing was established in the film. There was no. Okay. I'm allergic to this or maybe she didn't know. Okay, I, get it. But. Just. Didn't it didn't work for? I'm like, God. If you're like that when. I. Realized I'm like reading all these reviews and there was gonNA. Stick in Oh, this is great and I'm like Oh. Okay. Well, I mean, if you maybe watch the movie with blindfolds on and don't care about story at all, I guess, Hey, hey, there's a cool or a film for you to. I don't know if I even like some of the performances I. Just I just it. I got taken out. So early and I just I just I don't know. Yeah, and I wanted to like it because it's like raving about it. I mean, the mother was so over. But she was honesty was like. What laughable. And then, and then the father was even more laughable because he's like. What's going on here? Oh God. I. I. Just don't understand what I think. Rotten tomatoes raved about it. There's a lot of things and. then. Then he did midsummer and I'm like, no way. I'm watching the fucking movie. I might try it. I'm like, I'm not getting sucked in again. Sorry, you're not gonNA. God, it was only ninety nine cents I know I almost was almost was going to buy because all the people talking about how good it was and I'm like. God. I didn't know but. I did purchase the invisible man. I liked it. When and a lot a great booking movie while I'm glad you liked it. I liked it too. I. Really did it was. Unbelievable I was. Smart now is really suspenseful in. I. I I like. Leelanau. You know he wrote saw He. He wrote a lot of movies, and this is, I think is his second movie. He did a movie. Called, upgrade, it's a sci fi movie. I haven't seen. It looks fantastic It. Okay. But this movie and I've seen a lot of the all the invisible man movies, hollow man and all that other shit and disbelief. You just blew them completely out of the water. I like what? I loved it too. Yeah. Great, the effects were great. Spence full it was smart. Lowly, the the guy, the bad guy was bad. It was terrible. You felt so bad for that woman, he wanted her to win so bad and yeah. Oh. Yeah. It was of actually. It was kind of a letdown when you actually do see him. I know. I know I'm like. This guy is guided, terrible. Motherfucker is doing our. You want to kill him and you're like, it looks Lumo. Look that all you mean, like at the dinner scene. Yeah Yeah Yeah. Yeah exactly. Like. I don't know man. I know but I liked it. I. Thought it. Was Cool I. Love. Yes Oh God how she figures out certain things and like that, it's cool because I'm like I can buy that I can buy. Absolutely can't technology behind it and all that stuff I'm like. Yeah I. Bought it. I. Really didn't other somebody that you know did some research and made it work and their you I was very surprised school. Yeah I, it's been a while since I but yeah, I watched it when it first came out on. While they had a special. On Amazon, because it was a new movie, but because there's no movie seeking theater, they released it and. I'm going to get I'm going to watch this thing because it looked really good and I, and I, wasn't disappointed. I, really liked it. Yeah, I'm glad you liked it. Yeah. Diana. And I both watched it and loved it. Yeah it was really it was something. Else Arts. SMART. It was. It was refreshing to see a smart or film after watching how hereditary house like. Which one did you watch? I want to read it theory. I saw good. So then you gotTA. Get an ice, pick me up after that. Oh my God. Okay. Let me see with all this talk about hereditary and then I saw. This woman was on sale at. Mike. Is just going to buy this. I'll say you bought it. Glen I did because it's amazing. It really is good. There's some really good behind the scene stuff on there and Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's right. Yeah. We rented out. I'd be interested to see that stuff. The go over some of the technology and she did great I think everybody did great in that I? mean. There wasn't actual guy in on the scene where she's fighting them in the living room, get thrown around and stuff like that. There was a guy in a green suit. That they took out and post, but there was somebody in a suit that was actually throwing around and drag all. Those off. That's how it looks so cool. I mean. Really doing it. and. Then they had to use a robotic arm that was all timed out to get the camera moves very. Technical. So in the show, so the actors were listening to a someone counting going one, two, three, four because they had to do it on beats. So they had to say their minds and do all the action on certain numbers. Because all the all the. Camera. Movements reprogrammed into this robotic arm. Wow because that's how technical for that sequence I could imagine and it was like Holy Shit..

Really, it was a ninety nine cent rental and I'm like, okay, I'm GONNA check, it out. All have my curious. Okay. So What took you out of the film I WanNa I, Wanna I, just turn. y'All yeah. Okay. Go ahead. Absolutely. Loved it. Loved it. Up until okay. I think it was the brother and his sister I. Think they were brother and sister. They were at the party. Yes. They're coming home from the Party and she she sticks her head out the window. Because you. Yeah. Right. The same thing happened after that. It lost me. It's. It just it just. It was so fantastical. I. Guess I. Don't know if that's right word, but I was like I. I mean I busted out laughing when it happened was like seriously. You did how was like? Where did this come from because it looked like they were on this empty road? Right. And and then she's sticking her head out when I'm like the odds of that happening are so close to the road. Yes. Yes. Okay. Okay. I can kind of by that. But. What really got me listens daddy drives home with the body still in the car and goes to bed. Leaves the body there. And the mother finds it and I'm like how fucking bucked up is that? Oh, yeah. Because you see his face I, always shock. Okay. I, can I get it but. And then you hear her screaming and I'm like, oh. You just can't speak some words. On, a sheet of paper and entity start popping out of nowhere. It just doesn't work like that. Are you talking about the ending while I'm talking about? Yeah. Well, I mean, yeah. Towards the end when she gets a piece of paper from the from the woman and she goes, if you read this, you know she'll come back. Right now, I was like come on. Just. Light a candle and read this. Yeah, if it was that easy everybody would doing it and then we'd have entities everywhere. But. Yeah, it was just like what? I did like. The towards the end. With her. With the mother in the shadows in hanging in the corner, I thought that was Kinda cool. But in the house except for one part where she looked like she was swimming across the. Like. What's she doing? The backdrop stroke, they're. Just like you gotta be fucking, but everything can't happening I was like it was too too much and I was. I was like every time something happened. It was so much. This is funny. It's not fun. Glad because I'm like, oh. My God if he loved Phil. I. Think I. Know. But anyway, it was just It. was like a bunch of fancy filmmaking and. Ridiculous it was just. Grab what was that ending? What the hell was that supposedly I kissed unlike what Del One thing was is that they didn't build up the mother they needed to build up what she was doing because obviously her little group was worshiping One of these King Demons. "Month or so and they're not spreading so I don't think there's any reason to be too worried to tell you the truth although that sounds good doesn't it although who am I come right around in the truck off but how. How long ago did you do this about a year so every month? So you've been checking and the cracks have not spread right because I've got the place welded to either side of the cracks. So either the wealth would have to fail. The plate would have to start cracking. It would seem to me. Well I think you probably have fixed it correctly and in fact. That's that's generally the remedy for things like this great. So you probably are all right except it doesn't preclude it cracking someplace else. Without warning right. Yeah and that's the thing that you always have to take into account when you have a vehicle that's one hundred thirteen years old like yours. The eight hundred fifty five thousand five hundred fifty five point five last week really and now but then you added this this monster cap on it and all that. So you've you've gone way beyond the capacity the intended capacity to and that's more worried about that than anything else okay so It may time to look for a replacement for Betsy. I I know that man. You're asking a lot I would say leisurely have your eye out go to the movies and check out. Check out what's out there. I'll do it and I love your show and I'll send you a critter. How do you spell it Alison? Well there are lots of daughter-in-law named Allison who has no unusual spelling. I think even though you are married how do you spell your alison? I felt it was too else and I and I know not she. Nazi no spells it. She uses KS. And where are you from Alison? I'm right now. I live in St Louis but originally. I'm from Queens. New York cool. Yeah how long have you been Saint Louis about two years to you? They're reluctantly not so reluctantly. I'm here with my husband's job. You wish you were in Queens. I know what goes on behind the scenes so anyway. Alison why did you good enough? Wipe it off. They'll never notice. You don't need all those blazer find anything. How many wings do you need anyway? So so what's up okay? Well the short version of my problem is that sometimes I pick my husband up for work and he gets in my ninety five oldsmobile Chiba. And he'll give me a kiss. Hello and yet. Mildly painful shock Isn't that sweet sparks of flying even after all these two years of marriage. Okay well what are we time? I drive my car since my husband changed my alternator about a year ago. I when I get out of the car and close the door. I got a shock. Now let me get this right. You want to blame your husband for this. Don't you know? Don't come on and tell the truth. I volumes said he gets in the car gives you a little smoot Bingo. You're right saying meet. The alternate has changed alternator year ago. You WanNA blame him. Don't you know well? I sense a little discord in the family already. Joy Married for two years in a long way to go. Maybe not maybe not no. I think she's in love. Yes I haven't except for screwing up your achieve. He's been a wonderful husband absolutely see she does think he's heard nothing to do with it. He didn't because at the same time out of the goodness of his heart and so his wife would be safe in her car. He went and bought four new tires. He's very good he. I recently did get new tires yet. And you and that's the reason for the sharks. I was going to blame it. On Allison's wardrobe all lack of cream. Rinse away here. You're not been stroking the cat. I'm on the phone. I told me you were blaming my husband. No we can't blame your husband. No it's nothing to do with it. And the regaining shocks is because the tires are allowing static build up static electricity buildup. Okay and you discharge it when you get out of the car all when you touch somebody. It's terrible I can't have anybody in my car and when I leave and I touched anybody even hello. I give them a shock. Yeah I think she needs instead of clinging to stay away from those police Amazon. Hey I don't wear polyester from Queens but we I discovered some sun years ago. My wife had bought four. Michelin tires. New Mitch. Not to say that there are aren't retires at do this but these Michelin's She bought for her Dodge Caravan. And when you get out of this thing you can see spark almost an inch long. Jump off when you're raising the door novel and it hurt and what. We finally did to ameliorate the situation going on. The rims. Took the tires off. Is Well No? We actually installed ground straps on the underside of the thing. And these are these are rubber straps that have metal in them holly attached to the frame of the car and they constantly discharged a steady drag on the ground. Like trucks has delivery trucks. Have you seen them on trucks cars to okay right? That's one and I can keep my husband in the Corrigan. Kiss him a much longer. More passionate kisses. You don't mind my suggesting real wet but that's it in the meantime it's easy to just charge this by holding a quarter in your hand and allowing the quarter to be the first thing that makes contact with some something else. Few is maybe the Last week on a very warm summer afternoon the perfect day for a ride in a convertible. I decided to take my car into town. It needed gas since the gauge was practically on empty. But I needed an ice stream though I hit it first to my favorite ice cream shop. I A lot of trouble finding a parking space in it to park it down a side street. I noticed a group of young guy standing around. You know smoking cigarettes eyeing my car rather covetously. I was a bit uneasy. Leaving at the people often take interest in such an old and well preserved car so I went off to enjoy my ice cream. Yeah well the line at the ice cream shop was long and it's been quite a while before it could return to my car when I did return. My worst fears were realised. The car was gone. No kidding I called. The police reported the theft and then went back and bought a quarterback. Stachel is about ten minutes later. The police call me back. One of them came to the window and prepaid for twenty dollars worth of guess then. All three of them walked around the car several times they then open the hood for a long time. They all looked around inside and under the hood. They closed the hood and the old walked around the car in the other direction. This time then. All good in the car and drove off without filling the tank. Yeah the police were at a loss to explain this unusual sequence of events I antibiotics. Click and clack the tapper brothers and we hit a talk about cars car repair and the answer to last week's puzzle and this came from a fellow named Steve Boyd. And this is more or less. What what he wrote. Yeah go ahead About ten years ago I bought Mike. Nine thousand nine hundred seventy three beetle from this. Hippy guy you know he had long hair beads sandals in a distinctly agricultural anyway. He told me that. The eighty thousand miles on the dominant original miles. I didn't believe him for a second because when I took the car for test drive. I noticed there was Russell over the body. The brakes could barely stop the car. I had my heart my throat when I stepped in the Brazen. The clutch is beginning to slim. I negotiated the price down to like four hundred bucks and I felt pretty proud of myself. That had gotten the car for that little well. I gave him the money and drove my yellow time. Bomb Time Warp home. About a year later I got around to buying new tires when I called around to get the The best price a tyrant told me something that made me think that maybe I've been told the truth about the eighty thousand original miles. What did the Tire Guy Tell me? Now I've reputation for obfuscating and de clarifying and you do have that relation throwing in and you're proud of extraneous material and I'm sure the average person listening to this puzzle figured it had nothing to do with the with the tires but it. It has everything to do with when this when this car was made tires would not measure the same way. They are now they were measured in an interesting way on an interesting way and typically American Way. The with of the tire was one of the measurements. And this car. Had something like five sixty fifteen tires which meant that. The width of the tread was five. Point six inches. Okay and it was sometime in the mid seventies when they start making tires like this and we went over to measuring tires in the metric system. So now if you buy tires there might be one ninety five even though we kept the fifteen part. Yeah there one. Nine thousand five is the is the size of the tread the fifteen still the diameter of the wheel which is an inches but when the tyrant told him boy. Those must be the original tires. Yeah because in the mid seventies they in fact stop selling tires of this size you'll never be able to match one and they were also bias ply tires. But that's another story that's an we have a winner. We do the winner this week is Diana car solely from West des Moines Iowa and having a ransom selected at random from among the pile of correct answers that we got. That's eight eight eight two two seven eight two five five. Hello your car talk deb Baker Hall and I live in Hudson Ohio Hud zip bigger hallway. What's up well? I have a weather related problem with my car when the temperature is thirty. Five or below my car light If I have not traveled far enough or long enough for the car to warm up a little bit well go out and see here. That's a big problem. People woke loans. No they won't go off you know. We live in a small town so a trip to the grocery store takes three minutes or trip to get the kids to a sporting event or to school takes three minutes. So these three minute trips. Turn into fifteen minute tours. So that my car or twenty minutes or so that my car will be warm enough that when I arrive I can turn the lights off. And they'll actually go off. What what if you if you just leave the car and walk away? How long the lights stay on forever or until the battery dies exactly. What kind of a car seats in eighty nine Ford Taurus? And that's the problem so you might. This happened started last winter and my husband kept saying well. I'M NOT GONNA pay to get at facts because we're going to replace it. Well then I just continued to drive it. I'll see I have a dream goal for this car that it will reach one hundred thirty three thousand miles before I ditch it. Thirty three Magic to that came to me at the end of a meditation period. Much like the name of acid office all yes. Yoga woke up out of a trance insane. You saw one hundred thirty three thousand the magic number for this car just below one sixteen. So we're within striking zone one. Yeah Zipcar have the the headlights sentinel? Yes it does break it. I think so Gee I think the timer in that sentinel thing is Wacko. Oh and it's so it's can you turn it off? Have you tried turning off turned it off and I flipped that whole thing and and you know messed around with it and we thought that was it for a while and then I had a theory that had to do with how hard us how hard you slam the card. That would actually happen to lose fuse. Or something and whatever. Well I think you should take it into your dealership garage and pulled it switch apart not going to be terribly expensive if anything you just tell. Tell them to bypass the headlight sentinelle. Di Okay stupid thing. Alternatively you extract the switch from the Dashboard Leave it hanging down on the floor. Yeah it's SORTA suits my personality. You'd have a car that looks like that. It's nice to have wires hanging down. You got a guy that worked for us to had put it engine into a pickup truck and he purposely removed all of the switches from the vehicle. Basically about one hundred wires hanging onto the dash and when he wanted to start it he and he alone which wires to connect. You gotTA start to get the radio to work to get the blow it to work. Well it's nice. I have to tell you that. Having why is hanging down from the dashboard changes your entire life. It's that you have a whole new perspective on what's important in a life. I mean I keep harkening back to my eighty seven cold vista how liberating in life altering his been. There's no question about it. I mean people who are worried about their current someone's going to scratch rape offender. They will a cigar in it. I mean what might be. Oh yes nothing like that. But when you're now in my car to pizza boxes in the back of your come on one. Everyone was looking for perfection up. I've given that up. Let the switch just dangle on plug it in plug it in and you won't have any problem with your headlights. Sounds like a good plan. Walk on your trek three. Think one thirty three. Thank you let us know when you get there by by. Hey look let. Let's not play around this week instead of going through the usual dance. I asked you from her with a puzzle.
