"Happen. So plan B or plan C is the next two names on the list, right? Joshua J and Ronnie Perkins, at least at that position, which one of these two guys I think is the best way to put it because we all know at this point, especially uche what he brings to the table and his skill set, then go, we all remember Ronnie Perkins from the draft and what he brings to the table, but which one of these two guys at a uj and Perkins, do you feel like has the best chance to actually be, let's call it a full-time player. For lack of a better term, right? Somebody that's a real contributor to this team. Uche over the last couple of years has basically been a 20% snap guy when he's been out there as a designated pass rusher. As a third down pass rusher type of player, not an every down guy. Do you think that either one of these guys has a chance to develop into an every down player and if so, which one? Well, so I'm going to kind of take a cop out here. I actually think they pair off each other very well. And I think that rotation on the string side has am I wrong though? There's potential. They could. Yeah. Right. I think with Ronnie Perkins, maybe is more of that pure strength option. It's almost like you look at running backs, right? Like the thunder and lightning running backfield set up, shout out. Reggie Bush and Linda, white, but there's a million examples where Perkins is just kind of your bully and when you need that battering ram, he could be that guy, maybe an early down guy, probably more of a traditional edge setter in the Joshua could just play shot advocate and go get the quarterback. And I still won't write off Anthony Jennings either. I still, as a passing down edge setter, led, he led Alabama in the SEC. I don't remember if he led the nation in past the flexions as a defensive lineman his final year in college. That's something they're going to value tremendously. It shows a guy can hold his own at the line of scrimmage, doesn't overcommit knows how to read and get into passing lanes like I think all three of them I think there's some value in rotating those three guys. If one of them comes out, it is just balls to the wall, outstanding on a roll you play them. But I think there is value in rotating those three guys because there are three very different players. They'll give you a different looks than they'll allow you to get a little more creative defensively. So basically to sum up what you're saying is Joshua and Ronnie Perkins combined can basically give them what Kyle van noy has given them into the last three years, right? They can combine into that player where I think Perkins, when you watch him and tape at Oklahoma and assuming that he can make this transition now to his stand up edge rusher, his block anticipation and his ability to identify what they are doing against the run was really, really good. He does really good eyes. You guys really good anticipation in the trenches to basically bob and weave out of blocks and get out of blocks and get to the football. Good nose for the ball..

"Trading shares and snap gained as much as 43% while Pinterest climbed 29% and these gains sparked a turnaround in social media stocks in the extended session following a route triggered by the disappointing earnings from meta platforms In New York I'm Doug Chris Bloomberg daybreak Europe Global news 24 hours a day on air and on Bloomberg quicktake powered by more than 2700 journalists Santa analysts and will then 120 countries I'm Leanne guerins This is Bloomberg Caroline Thank you so much Let's get more on that story that you were mentioning Leanne about the big tech news out of the U.S. So Amazon shares bounced about 15% post market snap soaring 56% Pinterest jumping 20% Joining me now in the studio's Matthew blocks him our tech analyst at Bloomberg intelligence at Matthew thanks so much for being back in the studio this morning So the Amazon results It's like this huge liner above the water you see Amazon the delivery service below the water of course cloud computing That's right And advertising Which is a big business in its own right Yeah All sorts of stuff to try and unpick here across the tech sector Amazon still growing 9% year on year in the quarter despite the fact that it generates a $137 billion of revenue as you said that cloud business which makes most of their profit to be honest I still growing at 40% I think some people are worried that things like Google Cloud Microsoft cloud business would be eating into their leading position but that doesn't seem to be the case And that adds business $10 billion of revenue in the quarter about the third size of Facebook and growing at over 30% Wow Yeah so it's a big machine I think the thing people are attracted to right now is the diversity of the platform that all of its component parts are doing well but that diversity gives it good defensive qualities as well as that growth compared to some Facebook which is lock stock and barrel exposed to advertising and these tech up starts like TikTok Yeah And we'll talk about matter in a minute and how much you've got beaten up in terms of the share price But just one more thought on Amazon that they are putting up the Amazon Prime figure Is that for everybody around the world or so many customers Yeah I think at the moment we understand it's for the U.S. customers only but that is the vast majority of their Prime membership rough calculations I think it could add maybe $3 billion or so to the revenue base It's a 100% margin So it will help to ease some of that inflationary pressure They're seeing on their businesses too in terms of wages and logistics and energy Okay and compare and contrast Amazon and meta that enormous one day crash Yeah well you know these sentiment can turn on a dime and I think Facebook delivered 20% growth in the quarter so it's not exactly sluggish but I think a few things were a problematic for them There is this issue that the active users went into reverse for the first time but it was a tiny tiny basically stable and most of that was in I think kind of Latin America not that kind of core U.S. and European markets It was but I think it's really more about the cautious outlook for Q one So from 20% growth they're expecting it to slow to about 7% So it's a big slowdown People were looking for about 15% growth and Mark Zuckerberg gave very cautious commentary about some of the issues facing them The changes Apple have made that we've been talking about for a long time in terms of ad tracking which is really hurting them And also TikTok really TikTok is hurting Instagram which is their big money maker And they don't have an immediate response They've got reals which is their alternative to TikTok but it's not really firing in all cylinders yet But I think perhaps it's something about admitting to the competition isn't it I think that analysts worried that they even deigned to accept who can almost smell the fear almost Yes Yes And that's in $251 billion in a day Just a thought though also on snap and Pinterest results They were very very strong but you say that that has to be put into context Yeah that's right I mean both of those share prices over the last 12 months have been going down You say that that has to be put into context Yeah that's right I mean both of those share prices over last 12 months have been going down a lot So you know that they were starting from a very different position to meta which has been on a tear But you definitely have Pinterest grew 20% snap 42% on the revenue line Both gave a more robust out for growth in the first quarter to snap so looking to grow 36% Pinterest mid teens and not seeing a bit of a slowdown but nowhere near as sharp as Facebook I think for now the navigating those kind of ad changes that Apple implemented better they're not as directly affected by the TikTok headwinds as meta So yeah a better outlook But given that they've been under pressure their share prices for the last 12 months perhaps not surprising they've had a bit of a rebound There's a lot of concern baked in there Okay Matthew thanks so much.

"We've talked about continuity and things like that in the past, I think where the Patriots would rather just plug in one guy into a spot than displace the rest of the offensive line. So instead of moving on one new outside to right tackle and sliding Ted Keras into the starting lineup at left guard, you keep the other four guys in their natural spots and you just in certain one yasir Durant in that right tackle, I can understand it, especially when you figure Trent brown's injuries, not long term, right? He's probably gonna miss this game on Sunday, but it doesn't sound like something that's gonna hold him out for two months or season ending or anything like that. So if this was a season ending injury to trend Brown, I think we would see Michael on Wendy moving outside. But because Michael went in his home is going to be at left guard in the long term, this season and probably the long-term of his career, getting those reps next to Isaiah win and David Andrews are more important in the long term and for the outlook of the entire season than just having the best 5 guys on the field against the jets on Sunday. Yeah, I just is Durant wise Durant the guy. And you probably looked closer than me how he played at the end of the game against Miami when he came in. But I mean, where's yadi could juice? I guess he reported, but yeah, he's hurt. Is Durant just to process of elimination here? Well, Justin her on did not play well. He didn't. He got really did not play well. Holding called two hurries allowed in past protection and 15 to 20 snaps. For an offensive lineman, you give up three negative plays and 15 snaps of work. That's not very good. Right. I mean, that's not good. So when he came into the game, yes, here Durant did not give up a pressure in past protection. So he was pretty solid and pass pro. The issue, of course, would Trent Brown going out is you don't have nobody is going to replace Trent brown's run blocking ability, right? There's not a whole lot of guys on that Planet Earth that are 360 pounds and move as well as Trent Brown does. And I think we know. Mike on Wendy, yeah. He's not 6 foot 8, but sure. Oh, yeah. Three 50, and he can move. Mike on Wednesday, the Patriots have two of maybe the ten guys on Planet Earth that can move well at that size, right?.

"And Dan Hoard for Bengals Pep Rally on the air from 3 to 6 P.m. on ESPN 15 30. That was a good audible by you behind the curtain audible. You did very well on that. Let's let's talk more about the pressure. If you're looking for indicators, three sacks of the Vikings great, but the number of holding calls they drew. There was such an avalanche of pressure coming. Vikings were resorting to simply holding guys because I couldn't keep them off. They were they were, they were grabbing people. DJ reader He generated three holding calls himself and he was overpowering and athletic center for the Minnesota Vikings. But Bradbury is not very big and strong and he was having a hell of a time with DJ reader. And they were making him go one on one because they covered the guards up and they said All right, you guys are going one on one side. We think we can hurt you inside, We think get pushed and pressure and they really did. It was it was a great strategy. The other thing was on the perimeter. Hubbard and Hendrickson coming up off the edge. The offensive tackles were like, Oh, Nelly. I got to get off the ball. They get off the ball so far, they were flagged. Each of them were flagged for illegal formation. You can't get that far off the ball. You have to have seven men on the line of scrimmage for it to be a legal formation, and the line of scrimmage is within reason behind the football. It's usually at the numbers of the, uh, the other linemen. Not the center. But the other linemen. You have to your numbers have to be parallel. They were trying to cheat back in order to make the edge a little bit wider at the snap of the football, and the officials did a pretty good job. I said, now can't be doing that. So Bottom line is the defensive lineman of the Cincinnati Bengals got squarely in the heads of the offensive line of the Minnesota Vikings, and then physically they overpowered him and it was mismatches. It was It was pretty impressive. I am prepared to call the B J Hill for Billy Price Deal. A winner for the Bengals already BJ Hill two sacks, and I'm sure Bengals fan. I mean, I didn't know a whole lot about him after the trade happened, but they know about it now going. Wait a minute. That b J Hill guy was all over the place. So, yeah, I mean, he had himself For a football game. He had three unassisted tackles to quarterback sacks. Two tackles for loss and quarterback hurries because of those sacks, So I mean, he was a factor in and he's got some movement and he can play knows he can play, which is right on the center, and he can play a one technique, which is the inside shade of the guard. He can play three technique outside shade of the guard. He can go all the way out to a five technique on the tackle. He can go up and down the line of scrimmage, so they really like him in the rotation. He got quite a few snaps and It was interesting, Lance. Uh you know, when I looked at the you know, kind of thought, alright. Well, how many? How many snaps? Did some of these other defensive linemen get and, uh, sample got 15 to 20 snaps on the rotation on the edge, which was was pretty good. Ray, newly acquired got about a dozen snaps and then Hajj. The pre season, you know, Sensation one snap. He had a rush rush past. The quarterback washed a little bit too high a little bit too wide, but he only got one snap. So you know, honestly. If all people were healthy, he's a practice squad guy. Remind me later. I want to ask you about Josh to poke because that guy I love that guy and I think people forget like, Oh, yeah, he's back will get into that in our number two and more. "Ballpark buns on the Bengals radio network. Plain box filler with you, and it's the Cincinnati Bengals opening game against the Minnesota Vikings. End up Joe Burrow is looking forward to a big game today, and I tell you what Jonah Williams is going to help make that happen. He's coming into his third season and been entrusted. With the left side of that offensive line are Dan who had caught up with him and this week's walls. Business Solution Player interview. Jonah You are noticeably bigger this year based on training camp and 20 snaps and preseason games. Can you tell if bigger is better? And if so, why? I think so. I feel I feel good. It's hard to tell if that's due to technique or if that's you know the weight and strength helping out, but I think it's definitely been a good thing to put on a little bit of weight. It's not a huge sample size, but you were involved in 11 pass blocking snaps in the preseason games and did not allow any pressures, at least according to pro football focus. You're blocking against chase young on several of those plays. How do you feel? You did. I think I You know, I'm happy with how I played. But as a person who wants to get better, You know, that's what that's what we practiced for. And that's what the seasons for, Um, you know, so I think I did well, but I'm looking to get a little bit better. It's your third season. But really, it's your second because you were injured in year one. How much different do you feel going into this year than you did a year ago? I feel a lot different. I feel a lot better. Um, You know the game moves a little bit slower, as they say. I think it just takes a lot of game reps to start to get used to it. Um, you know, playing in the NFL is a big challenge, So the more experience you have and more comfortable year a going out there. Uh, you know, the more successful likely going to have we're chatting with Jonah Williams. So in Frank Pollock was brought back as the offensive line coach in early January. Did you guys talk over the phone? Did you meet? How did you begin forming relationship? Yeah, I was back here forbidden the off season. You know, just getting my knee signed off on and checked out everything like that from from the end of the season. You know, so I was able to see coach and talking, get a feel for how he operates. And you know what is you know what his attitude is like, and you know, really appreciate him as a coach and have enjoyed, you know all the time we spent together so far. In addition to having a new position coach, you've got a 10 year vet on the opposite side of the offensive line and Riley Reef. Is that almost like having another coach. Hey, it is, you know Riley's Riley's played a lot of football and he knows what he's talking about. So it's good to hear that, you know you have the coach perspective and, you know, obviously Coach Pollock also played in the NFL for for a while, So you have that inside and then you have Rallies played so long and you know, I'm playing next to Q and Quentin and we have trade too, so play next to a lot of guys and eggs will play a lot of football, So I think we're definitely an experience, you know, this year. Riley is roughly the same size as you are. He's not one of these 67 £340 kind of guys does that make his information even more helpful? I think so. For sure. Um, you know, I think there's similarities in our games and You know, obviously, like you said, in the in terms of just pure size, and that everything we're pretty close, So I think that it adds an element. You know, we kind of the same toolbox so He says something works for him. Then it's likely to work for me. I'm interested in your intel on a guy on the opposite side of the ball. Trey Hendrickson, who came in as a free agent 13.5 sacks last year, with the Saints to tie for second best in the NFL. You've had to block him a lot in training camp. What stands out You know, he's a He's a great player, and I think the thing that stands out most is his speed is upfield. Speed is ability to get upfield and put pressure on the tackle to, you know, give depth so you can protect And also his motor. You know, he's a guy who's going to keep on trying move, swiping hands, and even if you beat him on the first thing, he's going to keep on trying. And you know, I don't know any snaps. He's played, but it felt like every snap. I was watching the preseason was getting pressure. So Um, you know, it's been good battling with him all camp and I think we've made each other better. The last time we saw you last year on the field, it did not look good. I think most of us assumed that you had a torn A C l or something of that magnitude. When you went down in the Miami game, two games after Joe Burrows injury did you fear the worse at that time? I did, Uh, you know, I felt the same thing that you guys saw. I felt somebody flying into my knee from the side. You know, felt some issues in my knees, So I was pretty pretty happy to hear that. You know, when the MRI results came back that it wasn't as serious as I thought, so it allowed me to Go in the off season rehab it and then for the vast majority of the offseason. I've been 100% training at full speed, and I think that that's been beneficial to mine. Uh, growth this year, so you open against the Vikings. You're going to be matched up against one of the NFL's premier pass rushers in Daniel Hunter he missed last year the neck injury, But before that, back to back seasons of 14.5 sacks. You study these guys? What stands out about him? I think he's really balanced Russia. That's the first thing I noticed, is he, You know, he has a little bit of everything, and he's good. Everything he does is not just the speed guys, not just the power guy. It's not just the technique. I kind of You know, combines all of that, and he's a versatile player. Um, you know, that's that's the NFL every single week pretty much for playing a premier pass rusher. And so that that's the challenge for this week is to is to handle him and, you know I'm I feel good about this online room and I feel good going into practice that we're.

Joe Burrows Jonah Williams Trey Hendrickson Joe Burrow Daniel Hunter Riley Reef Quentin Minnesota Vikings Riley 13.5 sacks Frank Pollock 10 year Saints Cincinnati Bengals 14.5 sacks Dan early January 100% 20 snaps last year

"Waiting for our first call the season ready to take your phone calls on the matchup on what you like about this matchup or what? You don't Bills and Steelers Here is Pittsburgh gets T J Watt under contract contract for him well deserved. Rated one of the top 10 players in the NFL by is very good along with Josh Allen. He's one of two defensive players to make the top 10. It was Aaron Donald And T. J. Watt Josh Allen, his first year as a top 10 player, according to the NFL top 100 Stefon Diggs was number 11, by the way, um so Bills Steelers. We talked a little bit about the Steelers offense in the first segment and the Bills offense and now maybe shift gears to the defenses of these two teams and what to look for. Um, The Steelers have a very good defensive line and have for a couple of years mentioned what Melvin Ingram as well for the bill's name. It's probably the number one thing that is Let's see how good it can be like an X factor for this team. If we if we see the same offense we saw last year than we turn to the defense and say, Can they be better? Lightly? Just slightly? And and what does that mean for this team, and I think that comes down to the defensive line. Your secondary It's been the same secondary since Sean McDermott showed up a white, two safeties and another guy and right, whoever that is, whatever that might be your linebackers, you know. Tremaine Edmunds, Matt Milano. People feel good about those two. We could talk a little more about about Tremaine. But the defensive line the assets they have sunk into that spot. Russo bookie Basham, They get added into a group that includes finesse a second round pick from last year at Oliver. First overall, our first round pick 7th 9th overall. Sorry. No star. That could be big right Star was supposed to be another addition this year. He's out today, so let's start tough. Let's start Big picture defensive line. How do you think it looks overall? I think the advantage of being fresh In the fourth quarter. Every single week is going to be an advantage for this bills defensive line their rotations watching the type of pass rush combinations, they're going to be able to roll out. Um, these are exciting things for me to watch. I'm listen. Uh, I think we can all agree. We're probably all in the same place here. I I am excited about Gregory Rousseau. I think This the excitement that fans feel and share about Russo. I think is echoed in this coaching staff. I think the way they used him in the preseason. Is a little bit of like a sneak peek and how they feel that that what they've seen from him in the pre season and during training camp. You don't play a guy you know to 20 snaps in the preseason. Who's a rookie? Unless you're like this guy is one of our best players in defense. Um, if you told me right now, Gregory, so ends this season with double digit sacks. 10 10.5 11. I think I'd buy into that. I think I think I'd take the over at like 9 10 sacks. I think he can be that disruptive, but The defensive line is a whole does feel a little predicated in terms of people's Belief in their ability to stop the run. And what we could probably get into whether or not stopping around actually matters at some point in the show or some point this season because teams are going to run against the bills because they can because the bills want them to run against them. Can we? Can we say that right? Like if you're Sean McDermott, Leslie Frazier. Every single time. Herbert. Uh, name some good F C court named some great quarterbacks whenever you're playing Patrick Mahomes, Ryan Tannehill. Maybe not. In that case, their country is really hard to stop. But I would think that every time these elite quarterbacks turn around and hand the ball off. Sean McDermott and Leslie Frazier. Like Exactly. Yeah, let's get to let's get down into the in the goal into the red zone. Let's tighten up. Let's hold teams to three points. We like our odds if we can do that with our scoring offense, So I think that the bend but don't break things. We've said a lot. Like maybe at nauseum. It's like maybe one of the worst football ISMs out there is bend. But don't break defense is, I think the bills really that that's her strategy, both from a defensive line linebacker. Corner safety. I'm uh, I think if you're if you're Leslie Frazier in your Sean McDermott every time an elite quarterback turns around two hands the ball off you are. They're doing exactly what you want them to do. Well, let me ask you about you mentioned Russo and go back to Rousseau and there. The you get the sense that Russo has come in and look so good for the bill so far. That there's almost this feeling of I mean, we knew he was good. Yeah, Yeah, yeah, we He's really good. Right right away. He's he looks ready right now. And, you know bills, fans got a chance to see that with some Solid reps in the preseason, The Detroit sack, Um against the the Bears. He was. He was reading a full game where it means something and where you're scheming him in spots to put him in. Opposition to have success and you really didn't get to see him with Jerry Hughes on the other end, Like like the Jerry Hughes, not like, Hey, it's training camp. It's preseason. He's a veteran. He's got a little tweaking The calf were really easing him in here. No. Now he's full bore, and now you're going to have an opportunity to see on third down. You know, Russo and Hughes on one end. You've got Mario Addison at the three technique and Calvert the one have at it, boys. You've got to really athletic, fast pass rush heavy unit out there. The other guy that I continue to think we're grossly under talking about is a J. F. Vanessa. I'm excited to watch up in ECE play. He's not going to have the same volume of stats are snaps that we see pews that we see Russo. But maybe do we agree he might be the third. Guy off that bench like he might be the first pass rusher in the game when Reus or he was earning well, last year, it was, you know, Trent Murphy and he's an active all the time and the bills just Really gotten. It was almost like corner, too was talked about a lot, But yet defensive end to was, I think probably should have had more attention. Um, I guess if you're going further down the depth chart past cherry hues With regard to this this pass rush. Russo, one of the things about him. He got a lot of his sex in college when he was inside, and that was kind of a little bit of a knock like, Well, he does really well inside. I'm not. You know, we don't know how he'll do around the edge. The reality is sometimes You hear that as a knock and I think, Well, yeah. Can I just scheme it on the inside? I got it Sounds like it sounds like I could just do. That Sounds like a you problem, right? I'll just get him and maybe scheme him on the inside in certain scenarios seen that yet either, And I think probably for a reason..

Patrick Mahomes Sean McDermott Leslie Frazier Ryan Tannehill Josh Allen Matt Milano Jerry Hughes Aaron Donald Trent Murphy Melvin Ingram Tremaine Edmunds Gregory Rousseau T. J. Watt Hughes Mario Addison T J Watt Gregory Steelers Bills Reus

"To automatically call it your favorite Broncos podcast, But I've listened to it and it is good and it might be my favorite Broncos podcast. George story joins me now, George appreciate the time, Bud. Yeah, Ryan, you know, with the new podcast, I may not be coming on too much more often. I feel like maybe we're competing a little bit here. Alright. Well, now now that we have a problem Because I was going to. I was going to bring you on. And I was going to say, how dare you was going to be my first question? And, uh, Secondly, I was going to grovel to try and get on your podcast. But now none of that. We are done here, sir. You have a good weekend. I'm just Oh, no, Come on. I'm just I'm just playing around. Come on. There's plenty of room for all of us in the talking about Broncos spaces. They're not. There's plenty to discuss. Oh, yeah, Definitely. Definitely. I will definitely keep coming on the show. I appreciate. I appreciate that. Your sweetheart um Bradley Chubb. Big deal. Little deal No deal as far as his status four Sunday being up in the air. I think it's a small deal may be close to medium deal. If that makes sense. I think that it is worrisome that obviously he didn't he didn't practice on Monday and Wednesday. And at that point it was looking like maybe he won't play in the game. And then he returns to practice on Thursday and also practiced today as well, Even if it was in a limited capacity, And I think that gives you some hope that we will see him on Sunday, but I think in the way that we see him if we do see him at all. I think is in a limited capacity and what I mean by that, instead of Bradley playing, maybe 40 50 snaps like he typically would. Maybe you cut that in half. Maybe he's only playing. 20 snaps on Sunday, and if you can get 20 snaps out of him, I think that's a good thing because it does seem like this has been a lingering issue, which is not a good thing, but Um, my thought process on it. If he's not 100%, maybe you do hold him out in a game like this, that you think maybe you can still win. And then obviously you know the guys behind him, Malik read Jonathan Cooper, Andre mentor. All three guys that they are really high on. Obviously two of those guys Jonathan Cooper and Andre Mitts being You know, rookies, but you know the week Millie groups played a lot of football, but I just kind of think, because when you look at this team and von Miller coming back, especially, I think they've only played Von Miller and Bradley Chubb. I think they've only played You know, four games together in their entire career. And as a Broncos fan that has to be frustrating and simple with big Fangio, which I think, um, you know, he kind of expressed his frustration today talking to the media about it. So, um, you know, it'll be interesting to see how much we see Bradley if we see him at all on Sunday. If we do see him and you're saying limited snaps is this Are you talking? You know, high leverage situations game wise, Or you just say, all right. He's coming in on third down and 1st and 2nd down. We're just not going to play him or is it the other way? If you had your druthers, How would you use knowing that he was only available for X number of plays? How would you use Bradley Chubb? Yes, I think they're down is smart. I think the way that they'll approach it as some sort of pitch count and you know, But you know, obviously a snap count in football terms and I think that they'll just play him in certain situations. Uh, and then you'll see him. You know if it's a close game, which you know very well could be on Sunday. If there's you know, let's say the Giants have one drive to go down. Its score and win the game. If Bradley feels comfortable being out there, he's going to be out there because this is I mean, maybe we'll get into this, but, uh, this is this is a extremely crucial game. In my opinion in terms of Uh, I know there's 17 games in a season. But this first three game stretch if they want to make the playoffs and have a winning season for the first time, and you know, five years, four years, whatever it's been The first three games. They need to win them, and I think we can all agree that I think the Broncos top to bottom, their roster is probably better than the Giants roster. Right now. This is a game they should win. And so I think if Bradley can go and he feels comfortable playing He's going to be out there and he's going to be out there in the most important situation. I was going to ask you that. So you look at this September and we've you know, you and I have discussed you've written about. I've talked about the month of September and how vital it is for the Broncos to get out. I to an early. Good start. So are you saying that in order for the Broncos to get to nine wins, they need to go three and o or is it Are we talking? 10 wins legitimate chance at the playoffs. They got go three. No. I think it's the latter. I think if you go to and one, I think that they can still reach, you know, nine and eight the season. Obviously when when you look at some of the opponents they're playing. I mean, they get the Lions and Bangles both at home. Those are games they should win. You look at it at an Eagles team that you know, I think is really up in the air. In terms of what they're going to be the season they get them at home. What the Washington football team is another game that I kind of circles like you know, they should. They should probably win that game. Maybe depending on what Washington looks like this season. I think the Ravens are really interesting game that fourth game of the season. Actual home. The Ravens don't even have a running back currently. Or at least you know, one that they preferred to start the season with and so you know, you go to the Steelers. I think that's a game that could they could potentially win. The Steelers might have a down year. And then you obviously have the divisional games and when you when I look at those, obviously the Chiefs are going to be tough this year like they are every year, but you get them at home at the end of the season and weak 18, maybe a week that Pat Mahomes is not playing because they've already made the playoffs. They know their position. It's so you look at that as a potential win the Chargers. Um you know, new head coach. I think that they can win, you know, split, split there with the Chargers, and then you have to Raiders who I think might be on The complete verge of a collapsed there in Las Vegas in terms of the direction that they're heading, and so I look at those games that they should win. So I'm not saying they have to go three to to, you know, have a winning season, but if they start three, No, I think that there's going to be a lot of optimism. And this is a team that can maybe win 10 or 11 games. If they start the season three now, and if you do that, then I think you're seriously looking at a playoff spot. George Story of the Gazette. My guest. Um I'm looking at the you know, they say the unstoppable force in the immovable object will when it comes to these two teams in the Red zone last year..

"As as the years have gone on, more players are getting Josh Allen included are getting guarantees beyond their getting guaranteed. Base salaries and guaranteed money beyond the actual signing bonus. That's another policy. Pittsburgh has no guarantees beyond the signing bonus, and I think it sounds like that's one of the holdups in the what deal. Yeah, they're not going to survive like that. Your your policy. Pittsburgh is not going to work. That's right. Life changes contract players are getting smart players want more guarantees other than the signing bonus and they, you know it's It's a smart again if you're the player If you're the agent, you should be pursuing that owner. Should I understand why owners are fighting it? Because you don't want guaranteed money? You're cutting guys all the time, and I don't want to be on the hook for this stuff. So it's easier to cut a guy if you don't don't have guaranteed money that you got to eat, But that's another problem. I think he'll play Sunday. Jeremy, I think you know that is now they add Melvin, England, by the way, um, when they lost, But Dupri they bring in Melvin Ingram will see what he does. But, you know, T. J. Watt, first and foremost is absolutely The guy you have to be aware of on every single play, and that's going to be a lot for the bills offensive line to handle, even if he plays I don't know what you know, 20 snaps, 25 snaps. Whatever the count is, he's going to be tough. Yeah. Can they hold up? You worried about the line at all? I mean, it's one of the things we we. They brought back as pretty much the same group so Yes. Not well, you know, worried? No, it's I said I I came up with something I tweeted out today. I'm like, okay, you look at the bills. Is there anything we should be concerned about? Not injury related, not covid related, Okay, actual football stuff. Is there anything to be concerned about a position a part of the team you're not sure about. And honestly, I'm sitting there going What the heck am I concerned about? I mean, I don't have it. The only thing I came up with was maybe they're rotating three guards to play two spots. Yeah. I mean, there's really receivers. No, I guess tight, tight end depth. I mean, you really got to work hard. To get to cornerback, too. Is Levi up to the task? The new punter going to be okay. I mean, it's I'm searching for something to be concerned about. The first thing I guess I would go with is the offensive line, you know? Can Morse stay healthy? Play every game. What are they doing at guard is at Ford and Vodka is at 14. Feliciano, is it You know some combination of the three rotating and if you're rotating guards, that could be an issue for the line. That's the only thing I could come up with as far as a concern, and I'm not really worried about the offensive line. I don't think they're going to be a problem for the bills this season. I guess one thing we would talk about this year and we'll see. Of course, as it plays out. You just want them to stay healthy. They have stayed very healthy as a team, if not had the injury bug. To consistently last year were the biggest injuries. Milano in and out, Edmonds was banged up. Edmonds Bank up early John Brown in and out having trouble staying healthy in the old line. I mean, Morris was, you know, Feliciano wasn't there at the start of the season, Morse eventually goes down. Forward goes down. That was they went through a lot of offensive line combinations. And that would be nice, I guess to your point about what you would be nice for them to be able to get The five guys. They like up front and be able to play those guys. I was checking the the participation charts from last season because I wanted to see they never did have assuming Ford and Feliciano are your guards if you think the best five Unit five man unit As Dawkins, Ford, Morris, Feliciano and Williams. Those guys never started a game last year together. And They had someone think it was seven different starting combinations on the offensive line seven over a 16 game schedule. That's a lot so I guess again, circling back concern. Yeah, it would be nice to be able to get the five guys you think are the best get them in there and have them play a majority of season since it really never happened last year, And despite that, by the way, they went 13 and three You got anything you're worried about or concerned about. I'm scratching my head trying to come up. I'm not worried about the running game when they were on the ball. I think they'll be fine. The passing game, Jack I think the pass rush will be better. I think they're deeper on the defensive line. Um, anything Return game. No, Never never. I mean the kickers. Fine. I'm just going through all three phases and I can't really tell you like there's Linebackers? Nope. Well. Have watch just one concern with the offense Get along show that we can get to it. It's the same as it was as the season, you know be the off season began, which is Can they score against the Chiefs? Yeah, right. They haven't yet. No, that was I was reading. Uh, Peter King. His football morning in America Caught caught up on it. Yesterday He picked the bills to make the Super Bowl to make the Super Bowl against the ramps. And the one You know, he did site by the way, and he was at Bill's camp. It was one of his stops. He did bring up Can the bills stay covid free? You know, because of what was going on Colby's and all that stuff If they have the lowest numbers of any team, and that's a tough one. That's a battle and they did during the preseason. I haven't seen any updated numbers, but they were in the bottom four. I think percentage wise of vaccinated players. But the one thing he did bring up like what concern might you have? Josh Allen, winning a big game specifically can Josh Allen beat Kansas City and he cited the two games last year that Alan and the offense didn't play well. The Bills never had a lead in the second half against the Chiefs in either game. And they didn't really put together too many touchdown drives in the second half in either of those two games. That's the one thing he did say, and we won't know until you know, Week five is the first chance to do something about that. It's Wednesday. And we want to talk bills football with you. Is there What, if any concerns do you have About the bills will get connected with our fans brought to you by Bond..

"But maybe maybe, you know, they just At the end of the day. Maybe it's 100% snaps for Cody Ford at the end of the day. It just seems like that could be something they play around with a little bit to make sure they have the right combination. I think some people are a little surprised that Gabriel Sanders isn't listed ahead of. I mean, Gabriel Davis ahead of Emmanuel Sanders. I don't think it matters. I think Gabriel Davis is going to play just as much as you know Emmanuel Sanders and maybe even more. Who knows what the snap Council look like. Trying to look through here. At the depth chart. You know the thing that jumps out at you. It's not a surprise. Dane Jackson is the backup to both outside corners because they only have five corners. But if you look at the corner list, it's your nickels are tearing and then Saran, Neil turn Johnson's Randall Then you're outside guys. Your starters are white and Wallace. That only leaves Dane Jackson to be your backup. I'm to both outside spots, right? But as you mentioned when you were with me on Friday, they have two corners on the practice squad, right? They do and they can elevate them. That's right. You can still elevate people. But on the 53 itself. Right now. You only have five corners, You know, so I just I think that at least when you look at it, you see you see, Dane Jackson is backing up both sides. You're like, Well, who else is there? Well, you do have Saran Neil. I don't think they want Saran Neal playing the outside. Necessarily. I think he's more of the inside slot corner, which is why he's listed as turns back up. He can play there. He can play there in a pinch. If they if something happened tear in Syria, Neil can definitely play out there. I mean, heck, Mike to hide if you really needed him to he, you know he can play out there. Speaking of mica and position list defense like we did here several weeks ago, but but but on the surface They only have five corners, and I think that's something that at least jumps out at you when you look at it. The a little bit out of left field on this one. But the other day, I think it was Friday. You had tweeted out a link to some comments Jerry Jones and made about the bills and the market in the stadium. If you could talk a little bit about that, and was there any significance to what he said He is obviously one of the more powerful owners in the league. I think it was just one part in here. Where I guess you have to listen to it to understand the context and I'll tell you what my context was, Um, you know First, the first part of the quote was That Buffalo is a special place like a lot of the old NFL teams. Now, of course, people remind you April teams have moved. And you know what? There was the the Kansas City You know, Dallas Texans in Kansas City, right. All that stuff, right? Beating teams, and Jerry is involved in that, But You know, he basically made it clear that he believes that Buffalo should have a football team that they're special place. And I don't think that Jerry had blown smoke or anything like that. If you also listen and To the interview, he talked. It was kind of kind of crazy. Actually, he was talking about the first time he ever met Terry Pegula and how he said it was like him meeting Elvis because Terry was in the oil and gas industry. Yeah, and like this was somebody. He looked up to so much, and he talked about Kim and her philanthropy and How smart she is, and all the things she's done for Buffalo and how great she is for the game and things like that. Then he mentioned, he said. The thing that got, I think kind of confused or taken out of context, and people can take it how they want is, he said. They have a great city. The great city of the Great City, Toronto 80 Miles north, and he didn't say It sounded like he could have been saying two things. They have a great sea in Buffalo. Plus, they had Toronto to tap into, or he could have been saying there's a great city of Toronto. And I think that even if it's the second one, all he really was saying was Being close to Toronto helps you sell tickets? Yeah, Yeah, I think people kind of reacted a little bit. Oh, my God. Toronto. He wants them to play games in Toronto and go to know he wasn't saying that to me. That's not happening. Those aren't playing games in Toronto anymore. And I think Jerry Jones was suggesting that he was simply suggesting that they have a fabulous city in Toronto with a lot of great sports fans who can come down and still go to games. If you keep the team in Buffalo. I think that's what he was suggesting basically. Now, you know Sean McDermott speaking to the media today, and so is Mike Tomlin. So I'm going to guess the T. J. Watt question comes up for folks who are not familiar with what's going on with him. He might not play Sunday, and he's not injured. So can you go through a little bit of what's happening with T? J Watt? Good because he is a huge presence on the field for their defense. Let me ask you guys a question, Did you Did you know? Have you been following this story line? Did you know this was the case? Yeah, because he's is the Seahawks had a couple of guys. The whole men. Yeah. I knew what was going on. Yeah, Okay, Because the reason why I ask is I was surprised how many people didn't realize it. Then I guess I realized that This hasn't gotten a lot of attention, actually like this hasn't been a big deal because I think so many people in media and fans national local in Pittsburgh thought this would work itself out by now. Well, T. J. Watt is on his fifth year option. He's guaranteed $10 million a year this year. He wants a long term extension. The team wants to give him a long term extension. But they haven't agreed upon it. So in the meantime, ever since training camp started because he doesn't want to get injured. He's basically elected to with the teams blessing. By the way, it's not. It's not. He's not going against anything with the team. They've understood completely here and have had said Yep. We totally understand. He has basically just practice individual work with the defensive line defensive ends once they go to any team stuff. The defense or 11 on 11. He has not participated like this is going back to July guys. He has not participated in any of that. So Tom Polis Arrow comes out over the weekend and says, Look, It's getting crunch time. The Steelers have a philosophy. They believe that like if he doesn't practice with the defense this week Over the next few days. He's not playing. And now maybe that's true. Maybe that's not when I say that. I mean, like, I think Tom Polisario's right and what is reporting, but He's t J Watt if he signs the night before the game is in play. Oh, yeah. I mean, I don't know, but I will tell you That is a that is a philosophy. A lot of teams share. The bills are in that same boat. The bills John McDermott's the same way You don't practice throughout the week. You don't play like we'll make. We'll manage like we're not putting somebody in the field who hasn't done everything that you do need to do throughout the week. Feel like they would. They could do a even if you had him out there for 20 snaps. You know, some obvious passing grounds. I feel like they would find a way to have him on the field because it can make such a big difference for their defense. And let's face it. I mean, I don't know what to expect from the Pittsburgh offense. I don't think they're going to be that good offensively, so they're going to really need their defense. And in this game against the middles offense, I would think if they can get what on the field for even a handful of snaps. They'll get him out there as much as they can. One thing on this did the Steelers always have some sort of soap opera going on? It usually involves Rothenberger or juju around Levy or levy umbrella, Brown Bell or right, brown. There's all there's always some soap opera with this team. It's weird. I mean, it's a good considering. It's like it's like that's gonna franchises that is considered like a flagship franchise in the league. Uh, James Harrison is going to retire because of the head hit penalties like Yeah, I mean, maybe every team's always got one, and I'm just kind of focusing on the Steelers here, but it always feels like there's always something going on with them. Where you know it's more than the game..

"And you got an uphill battle. I know you got a shortcut. You gotta cheat code and Trevor Laurence. Maybe Trevor Laurence is so good. Urban Meyer can do silly stuff like this. Trip and fall and a winning record and Ah great NFL coaching career because he's got a quarterback. That's just gonna be marvelous. That's too good to screw up. That's too big to fail. Maybe I mean, that's possible. I really like Trevor Laurence, but I'm not breaking any new ground there. I don't think he's gonna be a bust. But I think his head coaches Kuku right now. Tim Tebow is a tight end. Who does that benefit. Who wants to watch him embarrass himself Who wants to go? So wherever they're staging training, campus it over in England. Is it across the pond? Is he eating fish and chips in the morning and having ah English breakfast tea and then getting his butt kicked in practice. Who wants to watch that? Who thinks Urban Meyer shows up scratches his head and says, You know what? Eureka! Let's put Travis et en it wide receiver. He thinks this is a good idea. Some coaches, some people in lightning to stay in their lane. Urban Meyer. Go do TV Go Coach in college football team Go take the go Take the USC job when I become when it opens up, Don't go toe. I'll go to the Jaguars and embarrass yourself and embarrassed Tim Tebow because that's what's happening here. Tim Tebow as a tight end. Seriously. What's the end game that he's doing? Jump passes against the Colts. If you wanted a mentor ship program. Trevor Laurence. If Tebow in Urban Meyer, our neighbors, which I keep hearing that they are, I have trouble. Lawrence eat at Urban Meyer's house once a week and invite Uncle Tim over for dessert. Haven't talked to him then. Have him throw the football in the backyard together Now, you might. You know that might be tough, though that might be against the rules. Some of the provisions in trouble Lawrence's contract cause you know that Tebow is going to throw the ball over his head and at his legs, and he's going to go run and chase it. You know, there's not gonna be a lot of spirals there when Tebow is throwing it back to Trevor Lauren, so that might not be The best way for them. Have a chat. And for Trevor Laurence to pick Tim Tebow is brain. I would We just saw an NFL player Juwan James. Get hurt on his own time and get cut, You know, having forbid Tim Tebow and Trevor Laurence go have a catch with one another and Trevor Laurence strain something trying to jump up and catch one of those errant duck throws. Them cheap from Tim Tebow. We wouldn't want that. That would be really stupid. So look, the Jaguars My goodness. It's been so long since we've talked about them with a straight face. We've actually looked at them as NFL team that's worthy of some national pub here on CBS Sports Radio, But you can't help yourself. You don't know whether to cry or laugh when you look at this, Urban Meyer We got excited about Urban Meyer refund He hired a coach. He had to immediately fire He's putting Tim Tebow a tight and he's putting travesty. TN it wide receiver. That stupid like a fox. I think that's just plain dumb. I've already got people tweeting me saying the Tebow thing. Is a win win. Explain it to me, then tell me all that's a win win. Who does that benefit. Fans who want to go to training camp or watched him play. 20 snaps in the fourth quarter of a third preseason game. That's a win. I think it's a joke. And it's not even that funny 855 to 1 to four CBS 855 to 1 to 4 to 27. The Jags are making players change positions again. Is this the mark of a good coach? Urban Meyer? We know so many of you out there. In big places where were clear, But we're on the air right now. Ohio and Florida and college football fans really nationwide have strong takes on urban Meyer. What is this guy doing? Is he making a mistake by bringing in Tim Tebow is a tight end. Making travesty. Tana wide receiver. What's he gonna do next? Make make Trevor Laurence and inside linebacker. 855 to 1 to four CBS 855 to 1 to 4 to 27. I'd love to hear from you next. "But there was a team that I believe is the biggest threat to Brady's bucks in the NFC next year, and it is not green bed as tank J O D Kiss of death. Did you read this story about how players or texting Matthew Stafford and saying Bring me with you to L. A Matthew Stafford is either A good quarterback who was on terrible teams for a long time and could not lift them. Or a great quarterback who was on terrible teams for a long time and could not lift them. We're now going to find out which of those two is true. I'm betting on the second, I believe it is the latter. I believe that matched effort was surrounded by a level of ineptitude that no one could have overcome. And I believe you put his skill set together with the little mastermind that is the coach there McVeigh Sean McVeigh in Los Angeles with that defense in those weapons, and I'm here to tell you right now, and I have a poll question up on my Twitter page at ESPN, Greenie. Which team do I? If I had to bet an amount of money right this minute that mattered to me on which team I think will win the Super Bowl win the Super Bowl next year. Would look long and hard at the ranch. I'm turning to my VP of stats Analysis Analytics general. Good humor Hambo. You like that better wouldn't like that bad. It's a decent bed. We just saw the bucks through. It's gonna be hard to bet against them and was also hard a bit. Favor of Matt Stafford when he's not so much as one a single playoff game. But you're betting on the combination of Stafford and McVeigh, whom we know is somewhat of a genius. I am a person who has spent my entire life rooting for ineptitude. I know ineptitude corrupts. Absolutely. So I am betting on the fact that that matched effort winning no playoff games has nothing to do, or at least has a lot less to do with Matt Stafford. And it does with everybody else. And as I bring in my disheveled board operator, Brendan Bubba Peregrine for his take on this, I ask you and I will preface this. And anyone who listened to the show knows Bubba's a crazy cowboy fan. What do you think I might take? The Rams are the team to beat in the NFC next year? Yeah. I mean, I guess it's okay. I mean, they're the team to beat. I guess maybe the NFC West, but the team to be is the Cowboys. So Yeah. I mean, they're the team to be in the city west. Congrats. Your passion for your team continues to I continue to admire it, but I want to make sure that I called to your attention. The school today Scoop, which is the Dallas Cowboys verified Twitter. Which released a 32 2nd hyped video yesterday. And there are shots on it of Troy Aikman and Emmitt Smith and other Cowboys legends and then a lengthy list of shots of current Cowboys players. Including Ezekiel Elliott, and a whole bunch of other guys on this team, some of whom, you know, CD, lamb, some of them you don't I don't even know these players are one guy who only played 20 snaps on special teams This year is on the height video. And you know who isn't That Prescott The explanation for the organization Woz This has nothing to do with the football decision makers, so there's no story here and my responses. Don't think you're making the point. You think you're making No one is suggesting that Jerry Jones said leave that Prescott off the height video. But how in the world do you make a height video and leave the quarterback off? The quarterback is the only obvious one. He's the only immediate one. There is no hype video without the quarterback. There's no hype without the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers release Ah, height video without Aaron Rodgers on it. The Indianapolis Colts in their heyday have released hyped video without Peyton Manning on it. If the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had created a height video before they got Tom Brady, they would have deleted it and made a new height video. So, Bubba. I'm going to ask you to speak on behalf of your entire organization. How do you defend the lack of Dak Prescott on a 32 2nd height video. Well, this one the Yeah. You know, at first, Honestly, I thought They were just wanted to give the other guys from shine. Yeah, but honestly, the more I think about it. I really don't deep on this one. I think back to my time is a Mets fan and you speak of inept. The Mets have made so many inept decisions that make absolutely no sense that honestly. By their argument that I think they just made a mistake because the Mets of them so many things that make no sense that I actually just think they had no idea what they were doing and made a mistake. Because it makes no sense. And that's your at it actually is so insane that it actually makes sense. So that's what they did. Let me ask you a question your pie not old enough to remember the greatest team the Mets ever had, which is the 1986 New York Mets. One the world how? What You were you born by the 84. We're done with this conversation. Now I'm wearing clothing older than you are, but one way or another, The 86 minutes, which is the best team in Mets history. The most legendary team in Mets history is going to be the 69 minutes. But the 86 minutes of the best team they ever had one of the best teams I've ever seen. And I'm telling you right now they would not have made. I don't care how in half do you think the franchises They would not have made a height video and not put Donald Strawberry on it. I just wouldn't have happened. They would have made a height video, and I put Doc Gooden on it. They wouldn't need a height video and left off Keith Hernandez and Gary Carter. That was a different time. We're talking about a different you know, those were the stars of the team. Dak Prescott is the star and the quarterback of the team. You cannot make a hype video without the quarterback. So the idea that this happened is in and of itself, even if it isn't important, extraordinarily interesting, and to try and pretend otherwise, I think is just flat out silly. All right, coming up. We have my congressman and my issue with Roman numerals. Stay close..

"Clock ticking. In the 3rd 28 9 buccaneers. His Chiefs defense is just getting run all over up the middle that dominated up front. They need someone like Chris Jones to get a quick miss and make a tackle for loss. They've got to set. Tampa Bay back and forced them to hold the football and throw it right now They're winning 1st and 2nd down and making third downs Easy. Five in the secondary for the chief's third down in one for Brady. He's under center couple tight ends Kansas City 20. Snap spin pitched, Jones got the block. He's at the 21 for the far sideline. Looks like he's got the first down. Running to the far sideline, tackled around the ankles hit on the play by luxurious need on that third and one he picks up to. And yet he got the first market with the Kansas City 19 with a 28 to 9 lead pretty three touchdown passes in this one. The other key, right, Keep the clock moving. Continue to get first downs. Right. Obviously you want to put big plays and points on the board, but that's not the most important thing. Keep that clock junk in and make sure you get some kind of points on every drive. "20 snaps" Discussed on KNBR The Sports Leader

"Because the games that different it's not a It's not a sedentary quarterback game anymore. Used to be you could like pavement, Tom Proof for the last 15 20 years you can dominate In that spot if you're really good Always helps to be able to move around. But today there's just too much. There's too much free artists use too much free. There's just too much. We're talking about every week too much, and you gotta go. You gotta have somebody will get it. I think that I mean, I suspect it'll be. The difference is weekend at some point, Aaron Rodgers as you shall, as he's shown no easy scrambling and more willing to do that. They've called someplace out of the huddle for him to carry the football. Yes. So I think That's that that is happening more more in the league, and it's just going to get more and more and I I That's why I said, you know, Peyton Manning. I told I talk to him the other day, and I said, I said about him on camera Nunes a month ago. I said Peyton Manning fight doesn't recognize this game today. Because of all that so much for the quarterback to go get every week that if you know if you can't move around, there's 34 1st downs. There's another touchdown in every ball game. If you can run around and still play great quarterback that's there for you, then that's why just drawing lots of it's going to be such a hot product. If he comes out because people are gonna go no way. Am I gonna miss that for the next 10 years? You're talking to Peyton about you trying to get a commercial gig or something trying to pull this thing together. We didn't think we did a thing together. It's kind of fun. It's good. They needed like a commercially needed to do or something like that. Right. I was just coming up with I need to call it another angle on state farm or progressive from like some angle, but I can't get it. Yeah, Get me, don't you? I told you when it happened As soon as you went to the mine, it was over. That was it was death. Does it? Hold them creative guys in San Francisco, and I can't remember the name of the firm. They're gonna be so mad at me. They were really great, but they came up. I told him Look when we do these kind, of course is you got to make fun of me that zip. It works. We're like, Oh, yeah, we can do that. And so they spent the next 10 years kind of making fun of me. They kind of make that They came up with a mind commercial like No, This is no good, like, you know, Trust me. Trust me, as well as mine is hot. Right now The mind is high, and, uh, has never been said in human history. And here we are. 20 years later talking about the mind has no, it was not. It was not a God. You could. That's the one thing I know you cannot pull up from the mind Nose dive once that thing Once that thing heads down, it's over. E. I wonder if you'd mind if it comes up that you saw sure. Well, let's find out. Let me ask you about about chief spills because we're great cooks. L was on earlier and he was saying that he sees sloppiness and In my homes play in the last lets a month to six weeks, I see an offense that produced 11 1st downs on their 1st 20 snaps in the game against the Browns. But when you watch quarterback play at a higher level than we do so, which quarterback between Alan and in my homes in your opinion? He's playing better football right now. I mean, Patrick, no homes. I mean, I know what Greg, I really trust him and he's right. Patrick is so confident I think that he gets low old a little bit like it's like, yeah, like soapy. He's in such a peaceful place that it's like, you know, he confined himself. You know, not being a sharp on de exact And I think that you know when you when you have so much success, some guys I think do takes they come in other Evan flow a little bit, but the idea that you're going to show up in a playoff game Patch of my homes that he's got his. You know, eh, John? Forget it. I mean, it's just You don't know what to defend. You don't know where to defend. You don't know what you don't know what you want to get started on. The only hope you have is that he is a little bit Lazier, and then he throws a couple of picks for no reason into somebody's just for no, he conducive that there's no question he could do that. Not great. Greg is right. What game? The game that non Patrick Mahomes is is a is a good thing now doesn't mean that Josh out isn't getting better and better, but Josh Allen didn't come to the game. We've talked about this before he did not show up in the NFL settled and ready. Dominate piece, You know, kind of peace that then you know Steph Curry's and this, You know, night, Patrick Mahomes. Both those guys showed up playing in a more Zen like state that usually you have to spend some time getting there. Have to go through a lot of scar tissue to get there, and a lot of guys get their finally in their careers. Just when they get kicked out. Just when they get run out of town. Just, you know, I mean, that happens all the time. And so Josh is coming. That's what's great about Josh and a more typical pace, like by the third year. It's faster than used to be 20 years ago, but about the 3rd 2nd or third year you start to see this improvement, and now it's getting vastly improved. And every time you win a playoff game it it's like dog years it gets Significantly better because playoff wins. Make a big difference in how you look at yourself. Others look atyou. Two huge deal, but not he's not there. He's not Patrick Mahomes yet. Don't don't go there. It's Steve. I want to approach this upcoming subject and ask you this question with the seriousness that it deserves, And it's about my homes and the concussion that he clearly suffered on Sunday and it was, you know, it was unsettling to see him struggle to get to his feet. And then five minutes later, it was somewhat hopeful to see him run into the tunnel. But he's in the concussion protocol, but he did practice today..
