COVID vaccines saved 20M lives in 1st year, scientists say

"A new study estimates that nearly 20 million lives were saved by COVID-19 vaccines during their first year Scientists at imperial college London used data from a 185 countries excepting China to create their model The main finding was that a catastrophic 19.8 million COVID-19 deaths were prevented by the vaccination effort in the first 12 months That includes 1.9 million people in the United States alone The model was based on estimates of how many more deaths than usual occurred using only reported deaths the number saved to still a staggering 14.4 million lead author all over Watson We estimate that one in 5 deaths that occurred due to COVID-19 in low income countries would have been prevented if those targets had been reached Out of Ben with the university of Bristol medical school says the findings underscore both the achievements and the shortcomings of the vaccination campaign We can't just say oh well we've learned what to do now and just give them access to everyone and be fine It's more complicated than that I'm Jennifer King

"Global deaths from the coronavirus are back on the rise In its latest weekly assessment the World Health Organization says 8700 people buy globally last week from COVID-19 a 4% increase coming after 5 weeks of declines The largest jump in deaths were centered in the Americas and the western Pacific coronavirus infection cases in general continued to fall with about 3.2 million new cases reported last week but large regional spikes of infection were seen in the Middle East and Southeast Asia The organization says the figures are likely an undercount because so many countries have reduced testing and surveillance hosting a meeting of the COVID-19 global action plan in Washington U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken warned health officials about relaxing their guard as the detailed plans to send additional pediatric vaccines to nations like Nepal and Mongolia I'm Jennifer King

"Brought to you by the 2021 Subaru share the love event. The U.S. COVID-19 death toll hits 800,000 by Heather hollingsworth, Associated Press. The U.S. death toll from COVID-19 topped 800,000 on Tuesday, a once unimaginable figure seen as doubly tragic, given that more than 200,000 of those lives were lost after the vaccine became available practically for the asking last spring. The number of deaths, as compiled by Johns Hopkins University, is about equal to the population of Atlanta and St. Louis combined, or Minneapolis in Cleveland, put together. It is roughly equivalent to how many Americans die each year from heart disease or stroke. The United States has the highest reported toll of any country. The U.S. accounts for approximately 4% of the world's population, but about 15% of the 5.3 million known deaths from the coronavirus since the outbreak began in China two years ago. The true death toll in the U.S. and around the world is believed to be significantly higher because of cases that were overlooked or concealed. A closely watched forecasting model from the University of Washington projects a total of over 880,000 reported deaths in the U.S. by March 1st. President Joe Biden on Tuesday noted what he called a tragic milestone. He again called on unvaccinated Americans to get shots for themselves and their children and urged the vaccinated to get booster shots. I urge all Americans. Do your patriotic duty to keep our country safe to protect yourself and those around you, and to honor the memory of all those we have lost Biden said. Now is the time. Health experts lament that many of the deaths in the United States were especially heartbreaking because they were preventable by way of the vaccine, which became available in mid December a year ago and was thrown open to all adults by mid April of this year. About 200 million Americans are fully vaccinated, or just over 60% of the population, that is well short of what scientists say is needed to keep the virus in check. Almost all the people dying are now dying preventable deaths, said doctor Chris Bayer, an epidemiologist at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg school of public health. And that's because they're not immunized. And you know that, God, it's a terrible tragedy. When the vaccine was first rolled out, the country's death toll stood at about 300,000. It hit 600,000 in mid June and 700,000 on October 1st. The U.S. crossed the latest threshold with cases and hospitalizations on the rise again in a spike driven by the highly contagious delta variant, which arrived in the first half of 2021, and now accounts for practically all infections. Now the omicron variant is gaining a foothold in the country, though scientists are not sure how dangerous it is. Vera recalled that in March or April 2020, one of the worst case scenarios projected upwards of 240,000 American deaths. And I saw that number and I thought that is incredible 240,000 American deaths, he said. And we're now past three times that number. He added, and I think it's fair to say that we're still not out of the Woods. Statins May Significantly Reduce Risk of Death From COVID-19

"Drug and they're saying now that this is reducing the risk of covid death by 40%, according to the study. That's some good news, right? The most common cholesterol lowering drugs may improve hospitalized covid 19 patients chances of survival and reduce their risk progressing to more severe and more severe disease. According to this new study, an analysis of more than 10,000 people admitted to more than 140 hospitals across the nation found that a class of medications called statins. Together with blood pressure drugs reduced in hospital Covid 19 death by 40% among those who took them prior to being admitted. And the reduced risk of death was slightly higher for those taking statins alone at 46%, compared to people taking high blood pressure medication alone. 27% Same held true for Covid 19 patients. And their odds of severe disease. Those only taking statins benefited from a 25% lower risk of developing severe disease. Those taking blood pressure meds had 11% lower arrest. So I guess when you combine the two you come up with 40%. So the studies applied primarily to those with high cholesterol, high blood pressure, mostly because people with such health conditions are more likely to take the medications to help treat them.

It's so far only about 87,000 appointments have been scheduled, and officials have said all along the number of appointments is dependent on how much vaccine the state receives. U. S. New Oklahoma Congresswoman Stephanie Bice was interviewed earlier today on Fox News. She said she doesn't think the evidence is there to convict former president Trump on charges he incited violence against the nation. "Want to create that the perfect way to do it is to create a pandemic and even says it doesn't have to be real. It's all about the perception of one now realizes we're seeing this obvious bloating. And misrepresentation of the numbers which lead to a hyped up. -mergency they're using to control you and take away things from you know you're right to take away your livelihood take away. Everything realize that this could be what we're dealing with according to a parasite stress hypothesis now in remember parasite in this means any number of things could diseases all kinds of things. It's just a general term. They're using for one of the things they're discussing. Are things just like over. Nineteen that's made clear in this in this article as well as the studies in this article. But it's according to parasites stress hypothesis. Authoritarian are more likely to emerge in regions characterized by a high prevalence of disease causing pathogens. They define authoritarian governance as quote highly concentrated power structures that repress dissent and emphasized submission to authority social conformity and hostile towards out groups. That doesn't sound like the. Us government at all but says the researchers also found that society tends to promote a collectivist worldview favouring obedience and conformity from the population in response to things like we're dealing with right now as noted in politics and pathogens. The threat of exposure to a pathogen need not even be realistic for to create a desire for conformity and obedience to authority. You know exactly like we're dealing with now. I completely hyped up illusion of what's really going on and it's driving people to conform and be obedient to authorities now realize even if this wasn't intentional and it just happened the way it happened right now. It's used for this right now. They're aware this is not really happening. The way they thought it was based on the numbers they said in the beginning based on the current death rates from the cdc based on everything else. We're seeing based on john's hopkins report showing off. The deaths are not actually increasing. They're using it to create conformity and your obedience to authority. They're creating the authoritarian rule that we've been telling you as here and it's very clear that's my opinion. The authors also note that a government which desired more authoritarian powers including a full-blown fascism or or genocide could achieve this goal by quote promoting widespread mortality and morbidity from infectious diseases. Do you think that our governments aren't aware of these. Studies were commissioned by the government. Yeah clearly they know about this stuff. You could argue that. They just know that. And it's just a passing a coincidence to what's happening or you could ask the real question of whether or not this is played at has has had an influence on what they've decided to do. Whether with an organic issue or something that they chose to create to drive it in you have to be smart enough to ask these questions because it's absolutely legitimate but going over to the other part of this. The pcr tests right knowing their bloating. These numbers knowing that they're combining these numbers realize that that separate from this combined to make the bigger illusion right. So you have numbers like pneumonia. The monja influ and everything else. That's being lumped in as if it's nineteen right so that's a guaranteed to make. This is why you got people that are saying but how do you explain all the number. How do you explain what we're seeing here. And there all the things because people have been convinced that they have a very serious disease in the pandemic of the epidemic. That wasn't in regard to two thousand. Seven people were in the hospital. People were sitting in hospital bed because they thought that they were severely ill but the only had a cold. You don't realize how that can people convinced themselves that what they're dealing with is is different because we're in what we're being told we're in anybody else. If even people like my friends all my friend a very serious issue when he's right now he's really struggling okay if that had happened before all this severe or not. If it had happened at a time before got here in that moment he would have been at home taking god. I really feel bad. I go to the hospital. You know maybe whatever you're going to find yourself. I probably just have the flu. You go in you find. You've got the flu and you go. Okay well i got the flu. I'll be fine right. You don't freak out no matter how severe it is because you just you feel like well just got the flu or at least that's how we've been conditioned so that is that you can see how these things happen. Tens of thousands of people die every year from the flu. So you can saying we for sure that this is what's happening. What i do know is that at the end of the day. It's possible not even that difficult and we've seen it happen before so adding all this on top of it. The bloated numbers. We have the potential for false positives from a test that add the illusion of more issue right so you have real issues from pneumonia and flew and everything else. Then you've got the false positive ace ace symptomatic and all the things the allusion to the add on top of all of that so then it comes then you have kind of a base of real issues that are not really people aren't really endanger for the most part and you add on top without a bloated number. That's just false positives. You can see how the illusion can be built. Landmark legal ruling finds cova. Tests are not fit for purpose. We just we already read this. It's from lisbon portugal. So what did the mainstream media do. They completely ignore it. Why because the truth. If it underlines the narrative is not allowed today. Because that's the moral thing to do. Apparently apparently takes integrity to miss. Inform your audience further good for for the right reasons. That's called lying your truth just like i keep saying everyone is doing today. It's incredible now people. Ab asking why would they even do this. Why would they try to do this. What would they gain from indicating letting you first of all. I pretty clearly just made that. I thought i made that pretty clear in this regard that at the end of the day. It's about control regardless we have things like the great reset. We have things like the artificial intelligence plan. We have things like contact tracing and surveillance and technocratic society kind of revolution smart cities and five g and all these things that people are very very resistant to or things like bible. Electric implantable medicine which is a huge thing right. Now that people like monse allowing and matt hepburn who are involved in the vaccine warp speed project are adamantly speaking out about since from a decade ago. But that's where we need to be doing to pay not predict pandemics in fight off diseases. All of these reasons. Any one of them alone is enough orbit the fact that we have the the massive bailout trillion six trillion plus dollars to go out to massive business. That's bigger two thousand eight. Is that not enough of a reason. How about the idea of something like blackrock stepping in and basically taking control of the entire us treasury and the fed and then controlling us policy going forward. Yeah maybe that alone is also enough and yes it is. But i don't even think that alone is it. I think that all of these things combined are a massive endgame scenario that was triggered or is being used to push in everything. They need to achieve. Why i i. I'm not psychic person. I don't know what they're ultimately trying to achieve. But at the end of the day we can see these things converging and we can see throughout history the numerous times.

"More breaking news tonight president trump's lash out again and Nevada. Governor from pushing legislation that greatly expanded the use of absentee balloting in the state election in in Nevada. Nevada we have a governor he said, let's just send out millions of ballots and the post office cannot be prepared. I haven't spoken to the post office about it but I don't know how they could possibly be prepared. And the general election I think state election the prison yesterday call that legislation a coup and threatened to file suit to somehow stop it that governor Steve SIMILAC I spoke to him just before airtime. Governor of the mail in voting legislation that you signed explain what it does and how it impacts voters in your state. What does it? It was extremely important to myself and the legislature first off I apologize thank you for having me on to give me an opportunity to explain this. What this is going to do is make us so that folks are constituents don't have to choose between staying healthy and exercising their right to vote is extremely important to me that everyone who wants to vote has. Had Opportunity, we make it accessible for them right now obviously, we're in the middle of a pandemic I don't anticipate that much changing by the time we get to the election but what will happen is everyone will have a ballot mailed to them. They will be able to fill out ballot setting that Bella back and have it count in lieu of having to stand in line. And Vote in person if somebody sends it in. What happens if they go to the voting booth to try to vote? You can't vote twice. There's a cross reference. Mail it in than they can't vote in person you can only vote one time. Now you can fill out your mail in ballot and if you choose to bring it in because some people just have a tradition of wanting to come every election vote in person you can bring your ballot and turn it in and that's fine or you can take domain box and bill voted male but everybody is limited to voting. One time is totally safe. We had the same situation in our primary, we an all male in primaries. That everybody had of oatmeal Abella mail to them. They got mail it in or if they chose this show up on election day, they could show up at their bullying places and vote. But this just gives you another opportunity to exercise your right and still maintain your safety. Now surprise person trump attacked you on the move tweeting illegal late night coon, Nevada's clubhouse governor made it impossible for Republicans to win the State Post? Office could never handle the traffic mail in votes without preparation using to steal the state see you in court. I don't know if you want to respond to that. Club governor is so I can't respond to that part of it What we did is we took public comment for this people were had the opportunities to make comments. There's no attempt to steal the state whether the Republicans win is GonNa matter who the most popular candidate and the candidate that we feel is going to be most effective moving into twenty twenty want that's who's going to win the state of Nevada the hypocrisy that on President Trump's you know attacking you on this is he's now encouraging people to mail in votes in in Florida. Because he was lobbied by Florida. Republicans. WHO said Look Floor Florida Republicans they have very strong mail in voting turnout and all his attacking the mail in votes the of the all male of voting system was going to damage votes in Florida. So he's now saying we'll mail in voting in Florida it's fine. It's these other places had a problem. He also went on to say that that he'll be suing in Nevada and that'll hill quote probably file something tomorrow as far as you know, has the campaign or the Republican Party taking any legal action. I know when I did check with legal representation if anything had been filed prior to recording you being with you and and we have not been served with anything I don't know if we actually will frankly sometimes the president makes these. Threats doesn't follow through on them but like I say, my priority is to make sure that the voters have every legitimate legal option to vote I. think that this. Gives that it offers that to him and I'll give you an example my mother I, mean she's in her early nineties. She hasn't because of the Kovic hasn't been out of the House and over three months now I, mean she feels much more comfortable filling out the ballot and having Senate and I'm confident that a lot of other folks are going to be the same way whether the senior citizens or folks that would just feel more comfortable mailing it in, which is what we're here for the legislation near State will relax some restrictions on who can legally handle and submit ballots for other people in the Republicans have pointed to is something that could lead to fraud. Obviously, there isn't widespread. Voter fraud That's another thing that the president has been claiming and his commission had to disband because they didn't find anything. I mean is that a valid concern and what steps are you taking regards to to this specifically to ensure doesn't happen. Absolutely, it's not a valid concern. You know what we've got is folks, for example, if they're. At home and they had their next door neighbor because they can't walk the post office box. A male boxers can't kidney car and drive to the post office in haven't mailed in if they give it a next door neighbor and say Jamila in me. That ballot is totally safe. There's no problem whatsoever that ballad. Create a scenario that doesn't exist try to raise people's suspicions about a process. We've had a mail in voting you know absentee ballots going on as long as I can remember and said in Nevada we've never had any problems and I certainly don't anticipate any this time rounded out guarantee the post..

"Mentioned. The top of the program how President? Trump's interview with axios was a minefield of embarrassing often infuriating remarks keeping just those about the virus in his administration's response to it. This is what he said about how you count data cases. Yeah is because we are so much better at testing than any other country in the world, we show more cases. I figure I look at his death and death is going up now it's a thousand day if you look at. Yet it's going up again. Let's Daily death take a look at some of these charts I love to. We're going to look let's look and if you look at death, you're starting to go on the. Right here United States is lowest in. Numerous categories. Were lower than the world lo the lower than Europe in what in what take a look Year. Case death. Oh you're doing death is a proportion cases I'm talking about death as a proportion of population. That's why the US is really bad well, much worse than South Korea Germany. You can't do that you. Have to go buy. You have to go by where look here is the United States you have to go by the cases the case as. Our chief medical correspondent Dr Sanjay Gupta and Dr Peter Hotels de National. School of Tropical Medicine Availa College medicine doctor who says is also working on a potential covid nineteen vaccine, Dr who says you're the president in the numbers? Does that make sense to you? It well, it it doesn't really. You know he's having trouble getting his arms around the scope of this problem. First of all, let let's look at what what's really going on. A will be at one, hundred, sixty, thousand deaths probably by the end of this week Amerson that's one hundred, sixty, thousand times the story we just heard. Your interview, I mean people losing their spouses, parents, brothers, or sisters at its is just absolutely devastating and the deaths. There's no end in sight to these debts will soon be going up to two hundred thousand deaths Spice Timber October Institute for Health Metrics as two hundred, thirty, thousand deaths. By the end of October we could easily be three, hundred, thousand deaths double the current number by the end of the year with no interest or curiosity about how. In this virus. When we know we can do all of these deaths are preventable and we just cannot get any movement out of the White House and I, just can't understand why we don't forward on this. Instead, we Steve These Cherry picking of data generally totally irrelevant to the real situation Sandra the prison again today dumbing down on this you know this claim that the cases are rising because of increased testing and if we stop testing then there wouldn't be so many cases and we look at the testing numbers he was rattling off it's still not as much as the country needs. No it's not and you don't. You don't get corona virus from doing a test, right? It's like people have said you don't get pregnant from doing a pregnancy test. It's tr- to try and find people who infected isolate them quarantine their context, and from a public health perspective bring the numbers down. We've never gotten to that point. Right. Now, testing is sort of surged into places that are hot spots are trying to identify people in those places and then and then moving to another spot in the country. It's kind of like putting pressure on on wounds as opposed to addressing the underlying issue so. There are objective ways Anderson to look at whether or not we are testing enough. The positivity rate a term that a lot of people now know basically a out of one hundred people how many came back positive if that number's five or below gives you an idea that you're testing enough and we haven't we haven't gotten to that that Loa positively rates. So we're not testing and it's not accomplishing what it needs to accomplish in terms of turning this pandemic music's the difference between. Deaths per per case and deaths related to the population. So. In this case, there's a I F are infected fatality ratio, which is basically the deaths out of people who have been infected. So you take a look not on the right side of the screen now, but I did the calculations earlier that's roughly around three percent. But if you start looking at population in the United States where about four hundred and fifty. Four hundred eighty people die per million in this country that that's based on on the population of the country but the thing is Anderson you know I think this is just different. This is a pandemic as Peter was sort of alluding to I. Mean we the whole world is affected by this, and so we are less than five percent of the world's population and we make up twenty to twenty five percent of the world's infections twenty to twenty, five percent of the world's deaths. As. Well, so I mean how you want to look at it absolute numbers, relative numbers, whatever it may be, whatever makes sense to you but but the, but the fact of the matter is that we're doing an awfully poor job in this country especially compared to the rest of the world. Well, also doctor who says I mean the countries we are in league with in terms of competing for the number one spot. which were in is or Brazil and I think India's now in in third countries that have underresourced health systems. In Brazil, the healthcare infrastructure is nowhere near what it needs to be. Know, absolutely I mean this is crazy and the president made some comment of. The high numbers, the historical issue that we had in New York back in March and April I just wrote the numbers down right now in the last seven days us is number one in terms of number of new cases over seven day period four, hundred, twenty, one as were also number one in terms of deaths seventy, five, hundred deaths over the last week so as as was. Pointed at one thousand deaths per day, we exceed India, we exceed Brazil weeks everybody else and I'm so angry about is the fact that there is still no good faith effort to do something about it at certainly at the federal level. When we know that's what has to be done and how does this end we can't just let this go on now for another four five months. Yeah, and the fact that the White House tweets out to pit president at a White House Task Force meeting in the Oval Office I mean he hasn't to one since. He hasn't attended one since April and you know even if he's talking to the task force members, which I know he has, we've done some porting on this. He's not listening to them. I mean that's the thing is that you know in fact, he's attacked me down burks an obvious attacking multiple time. Yeah it's sort of befuddling because I I thought is he is. He does he just not know and therefore he's saying things that are demonstrably wrong. But that's not the case I mean he is being told by by Task Force members today you saw an actual meeting in the Oval Office he said he got briefed by Dr Fauci Anderson before last hall, but but but then he's saying Just. Diametrically. Opposed to what he's hearing. So I, don't I. Don't I don't get the meetings don't seem to make much of a difference Sandra hotels appreciative think much more breaking news ahead president trump went on the attack again today against Nevada and as new legislation expanding in voting while at the same time he's now magically. and voting is great in his home. State is new home state of Florida where they just so happen to have a lot of Republicans who vote in. So all of a sudden Florida mail and his great. Nevada. Not so much. And this completely alarmed on baffled people kind of like. Why are they doing this? And do they know something that we don't and so it's a nerve wracking time confusing time for ardent Just when we were trying to get into our own mindset okay We're heading towards the lockdown. I'm seeing our neighbors doing something completely different that people would compare the Irish and the UK responses to the crisis. But is it really that simple? No it's fiendishly complicated. And it's been quite striking to me to see certain degree of flag-waving Weird's patriotism making this comparison that the Irish have got it writes. The Brits specifically the British government have got it wrong and a screwed it up. This is on the basis arden's death rates so significantly lower than the UK's and that are strictures were imposed sooner. More consistently jove witches is true that rates the difference explained because population densities are different also. Orland significantly younger population down the UK which means what Beijing shares less vulnerable to dying from disease on. There are several other factors as well which muddies any attempt to make a direct comparison in death rates between the two jurisdictions and so most experts actually oil experts that. I've spoken to attempt to make a League of debts. Comparisons Safeway too early to make any meaningful comparison that were months if not years away from him to know how policy affected that REX. Take in between the two one of the big ironies. In terms of combining north and south is this we heard a lot during the The bit of before and after the election about people in the Irish political astonishing warning about a hard border the brexit might create a and the irony is covert nineteen has created a kind of many heart border so for example crossing points from Derry Northern Ireland into next door in donegal there have been checkpoints established by the Irish peace on the southern side of the border so to speak on being checking the of northern UK plead registration. Cars are trying to get into the get to their holiday home. So there's been this kind of ironic at all seal site of border checks but nobody police northern arm but the garden in the Republic Henry. How's the Fed's minutes to Audie foster dealt with talks with Westminster Dublin? I think really when you talk about earning. I think you've also got to talk about Kinda part Incheon. Fan The deputy First Minister Michelle only. I think it's worth pointing at the Xinjian. Deputy First Minister wanted northern arm to adopt the Irish Republic. Much more stricter quicker regime of locked done auditing foster resisted. That and said she'd be led by the science of pretty scientific medical advice being given to the central government in London. Interestingly the person I think he's having a good in quotation marks war in this crisis is on the health. Minister Robin Swann. Don't let anyone say this has all been overblown. Because believe me. Hasn't there is one of the smaller parties from coalition unionist he? He took the health portfolio at the start of the year. When devolution was restored here Swan said the only divisions I wanNA talk about our lose lives we can save on those who lose their lives on that can chime with the general public and I think both are in foster on. Michelle only have realized that the majority of don't want potty politics pled here they they want the administration to work together in an officious way. A House the work together as a unit not as one of perhaps a benign byproduct of this crisis is that the executive hostile work harder. I think the irony is that the longer the lock dangles on a longer this administration listed theme with fallen from Virus I think it prolongs the existence of the partial in coalition which is always fraternity thinking breakdown in any time. The pragmatic and practical will prevail. I guess over the ideological tonight. I want to explain to you why we have to extend current restrictions until the eighteenth of May last Friday. The T shirt layover. Radka announced that lockdown would be extended in the Republika violent for another two weeks. I'd also share with you. Our plan to reopen our economy and society in phases starting on that day but in doing so he outlined a five phase plan for how Ireland will exit lockdown in the UK. I think a sense of well as this vision of Britain's own future and I think it could well be because even somme similarity between the two jurisdictions and so the the rich and have the advantages to watch the behind the Irish and see what their experiences are especially in terms of watching the public's reaction on responses to lifting because analysts except that the easing of the lockdowns would actually politically bar trickier the on the original imposition of London. As we wait for the prime minister to announce the UK government's plans to us. Out of lockdown. There have been signs throughout this crisis. That devolved government simply are willing to wait to implement measures. There is a quirk. We can blame on a global pandemic or is this an example of the new normal that we keep.

"But only one of them called out for Salvation. Only one recognized him as a king and the and the one who asks forgiveness. If you will said to the other one D do you not even fear God and really represents everybody in the universe there is either. We are like the one that called out to Kreis to be forgiven. Or we're like the one that reviles against him and there's nobody in between I mean there's not one person that can ride the fence on his baby and I think not to get too far field. One of the one of the most important part of that whole thing was he's recognized that God dead did nothing wrong and nothing. It's by he says I've done bad stuff. We both have but this man has not done anything wrong. Can't you recognize that he is? He's Finless. He has not done anything wrong in yet. He's going to be punished like we have been published. We are going to be punished anyway. I think that's a that's an important thing to go on. But like I said. Let's let's let's return back right. Question still remains what happens to a believer who dies and what happens to an unbelievable who dies so the sixteen eighty nine London Baptist Convention concerning the state of Man after death and the resurrection of the Dead States. Thus the bodies of men after death return to dust and see corruption but their souls which neither die nor sleep. There goes your SOCI- having any moral say that word for me Glen Subsistence. That's the word immediately. Return to God who gave them the source of the righteous being then made perfect holiness are received into paradise where they are with Christ and behold the face of God in light and glory waiting for the full redemption of their bodies. So that bodies aren't with them at the moment right and the souls of the wicked are cast into hell where they remained torment and utter darkness reserve to the judgment of the Great Day. Besides these two places for soul separated from their bodies the scripture acknowledges none. I like that Why talks about the judgment of the Great Day? The Bible talks about that too so so hell is a place to stay until the judgment of the Great Day. I think we kind of get confused and think that that it's the other way around that we're waiting for the the Judgment Day to then decide who goes it's you go now. You go immediately. And then that goes into the lake of fire. The hell goes far. That's right that's right. And the London Baptist. Confession continues as a less day. Such of the saints are found alive shall not sleep there it goes again also sleep but be changed and the dead shall be raised up with the self same bodies so the body is going to come up and we're going to talk about just the Amazing Act of God in that and none other although with different qualities which shall be united again to their souls forever. The bodies of the unjust Shell by the power of Christ be raised dishonor bodies have the just by his Holy Spirit unto honor and made conformable to his own glorious body. I would definitely agree with all of that. So in short. Just think about it or stop and think about it. There have been people lost at sea. There have been many people that have died in the faith. And they've become the mega sacks and worms have eaten their bodies and somehow those that have blown up Orbin shot and killed I mean all the bodies of believers somehow God is going to bring their body back and it's going to become an immoral so body right right you know I I I like the song of the him and my God is an awesome. God He can do. You can do whatever He pleases and I think we I think when we dwell on these kind of things we just gotTa remember that. God is powerful. He's he's beyond us. We talked about that a few minutes ago. He's beyond he's not his ways and I like our ways and I think with these kinds of topics we can try to make God like us or Kinda. Make it simplified. The smartest most brilliant person could think about can't even approximate guide point zero zero zero one percent of the awesomeness of got. You know. Yeah and so. I'm sure you've went too many funerals. I went to funerals and depending on what the person liked to do in life. Someone scribes that when that person died because at a funeral everybody went to heaven right. Do you ever hear somebody says well you know so and so died and I know the burning in hell right now. I've never heard it. No no and if you go to a Roman Catholic funeral it's even more confusing because they're in heaven. They're in purgatory. They're sleeping. I mean they're all over the place you don't know what happened in Rome Catholic funeral. I know where they went or the two possible locations at least exactly and so if if the person like the dance then somebody would say you know. They're up in heaven dancing right now. They were in a wheelchair on their running around like martial arts. They're kicking a heavy bag up in heaven but you know in front of Jesus but they have no body. They have no body at the time. The there if you will a dismembered Soul from the body and I don't know exactly how that all is going to work but the scripture says we don't have the body at right right and it seems to me like they're the that the body the glorious body the the glorified bodies a reward. It's it's for those who have been bought with the price And so there is a relationship between the spiritual and the physical but for right now for the purpose of what we're talking about for what people need to understand is we are dead spiritually until God revives us and we're GonNa die physically until God revived us and gives us a new body so there is a there. Is this kind of APP that we started off with this mostly dead in a way. We're walking around mostly dead. And that's what makes evangelism so hard because where we're preaching to people who don't know that they're dead right. They think they're alive but they're mostly dead right. There's going to be a point a judgment day when we're going to be dead dead and our goal is believers is to try to reach everyone we can now when they're mostly dead because now now is the time now is a day of salvation right after that is a judgment right and then there's nothing we can do you know. So there's there's so I think as believers we have this finality of of life. We take it more seriously than anyone else and I love the evangelistic part that you brought up because we're speaking to people that are spiritually dead but there are some that God has awakened and God will kind of perk their ears up and they'll be able to hear the gospel so everybody will be able to hear as we preach and as we witness. They'll hear the words per se. But why does it sink into some hearts and not others? It's not because one person's more intellectual than the other speaker yourself I just did right so it's back to those two thieves one thief heard and the other one was deaf to the words of Christ to the reality and remember win. Jesus said who two men say that I and Peter spoke him. A half of the disciples. Some say you're John the baptism so your lies your Jeremiah. One of the Prophets. Who Do you say that I am and when Peter gave the right answer again as a spokesperson because this was all of their answers if you will just Peter's Voice Was the mouthpiece for all of them. Jesus said flesh and blood has not revealed this to you but my father which is in heaven so the reality of coming to life spiritually is downloaded from heaven. And you can't download it yourself. Correct it is done by God himself. God sovereignly downloads. The Truth of the Gospel into your heart and regenerates you he removes your heart of stone it gives you a heart of flesh. You cannot do that type of spiritual surgery. No-one in the world can it takes the great physician and his name is Jesus Christ so let me get this straight please. We can't save ourselves only God. Does that true story? We can't will ourselves back to life. Only God can do that absolutely. And and the only thing we seem to be able to do is to sin right and to be totally depraved then to be Under the wrath of judgment and yourself and me and also there are things that we can never know or is beyond us because only God knows that right yes and we can arrest in comfort knowing that if God wanted us to know the answer to certain things he would have surely told us the answer to these things podcast over. No no no we have one go so what happened at spiritual death. So the question is asked and the catechism. What is the misery of that state where into man fell? And the answer. Is All mankind by there. Fall loss communion with God and are under his wrath incurs and so main liable to all the miseries of this life to death itself into the pains of hell forever. And if you don't know what a catechism is it's a it's a summarized version of a confession in we normally use the six hundred eighty nine lund baptist convention but it's just the theology and apologetic in a concise way with with question and answer not just for children but for adults as well right right on in Richard Barcellos wrote the last Adam. Our Lord takes his seed where the first Adam failed to take his. Adam had a goal to obtain a goal he failed to achieve. Adam fell from the righteous state in which he was created and did not enter glory due to his sin though. The potential for attaining glory was endowed upon him by his creator. He never reached yeah. I think that's fair to say. Yeah I mean I mean this is the reason why we all face spiritual death while we all are born virtually dead and while we face this impending physical death because he never did he never reached it you never reached it so on his own not on his own at least true and so there is this covenant of Works which Adam was under and he failed. Well okay so coming into works fell to tell everyone knows is is is when God gave the command. You'd think if you eat this fruit that that that da then he says subdue the earth have dominion over the Earth. You know This is this is the woman I've given you that these are all commands that God has given us those laws that he's given us. This works that he's given us to do to ten. The garden and Adam failed to do that. Yes Adam failed in the covenant of Works. And that's why we need a covenant of grace because we cannot work for our salvation. So Glenn there's a lot of preachers out there. That preach come. Jesus he'll give you love joy. Peace Patience Happiness. He'll give you a new car..

"We're discussing this. And I'm telling you as I talked to people you know between the various podcasts. I talked to you about death. They always bring this up. Lazarus Lazarus he was dead. He was in debt before as so and I know we talked about previously about so sleep. And I think this is. This is going to get to the heart of aware. All these misconceptions coming from and once again talking about this I think is really important. I think it it it like you said. We discussed it in private and even the commentators. No one's got this kind of handled and I think it's leaves a lot of confusion and I hope we can bring some clarity to this today. Not Not final facts but some clarity. As to how to address it. So Lazarus I mean he was like it said the princess bride. Well he was beyond he was dead dead. He wasn't mostly dead. He was absolutely dead right exactly and these people weren't stupid. In the first century they knew it dead was that the guy was in the tomb for four days right right but I like array comfort rights. He wrote the words of Jesus remember when Jesus said Lazarus come forth he says the words of Jesus cut through the icy grip of death like a white hot blade through soft powdered. Snow the same word that pro life in the beginning breathe life into the decomposing. Corpse of Lazarus suddenly from the black and shadow of the tomb appeared figure wrapped in grave clothes as he stood at the entrance of the Tomb for tombs not need an exit until that day. Face and body were covered with grave. Clothes gone took him by the hand and led him to the light. Yes so leisures. Had No heartbeat breathing. No brains zero brain activity and after four days he would likely showed signs of decay. And it's no wonder that his sister said and this one's view Glen. I got the K. Jv for you all right lowered by this time he stinks with. I've been just the stink if this really you know you. You can visualize that. I don't want to visualize it. I don't WanNA smell actually. When I was in Israel we went to the alleged tomb. Although they said it actually was the tomb of Lazarus and we got to go down into what seem like the catacombs and it still stinks with magic. Some died down there now now. I've always wondered you know why didn't Lazarus rather a tell all book you know like Four Days in heaven four days and how you know something like that. That would really solve this. We wouldn't have to be discussing this right right. He could have beat that little kid. that four year old kid with the same. Berko that wrote heaven is for real. I mean lizards could have been selling books hand over fist. Four days. Come on. You're talking about five minutes talking about four days. That's right that's right. And so what could Lazarus have done to bring himself back to life nothing and nothing is the definition of nothing? Is What rocks dream about. Yeah basically BA- look. I'M NOT GONNA keep these questions coming. I mean he couldn't have told his heart start to beat. He couldn't have told his brain. You know the kickstart turned back on. There was no jumper cables for him and so something had to bring him back to life. As physical condition was consistent with his spiritual condition and this is consistent with every human being and their condition before the sovereign God of the universe right. He wasn't only did physically. But apart from saving faith of Christ he was also dead spiritual And so this is the case of every single person who's listening right now and even if they're not listening every person who's not born again right now. You're spiritually dead now. What what does that mean spiritually dead. I like what's IT GONNA? I don't think people really understand it. and you alluded to. What do you mean by spiritually dead? I think I think in a sense. We understand that someone who's not born again is virtually dead but you know what does that mean right so when someone is born again they have spiritual life that they're awakened to the things of God. They they have a desire for God. They have a desire to please. God they have a delight in there even the Commands of God. They want to live their life not for themselves anymore. They Wanna live their life to the glory of God. People who are spiritually dead. They live for the unholy trinity. Me Myself and I even if they help other people. Let's great but at the end of the day they're not doing it for the glory of God they're doing it for the glory of self the glory of Man so all those. That are spiritually dead. They're saying is ever before them. And God counts their sin against them all their sin like David said in sending my mother conceive me so they were vipers diapers from the moment they were born and they continued on that path of sin as enemies of God as children of Satan as children of the devil. The father of lies they called him daddy and we were all there at one point each one of us. I would go even further than that and say that in the garden. God says if you eat this fruit you will die. That at that point we all became. Virtually that the the what. You've just described this action verb this desire that we have for God. That was that was taken from us. It was it was it was dead inside of us and we're physically dead physically warrant dead physically but that's what ushered in this this data that we all face because spillway dead. What kind of like walking? Husks without without the spirit inside of us and being born again is God giving us. His spirit is kind of reviving us with his spirit. It's not even that we have our own spurt is that he's given us his spirit. So that we can then be empowered to do good to to warship Malone in truth yeah when the garden when The enemy was tempting Adam and eve and spoke to Eve. She said we may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden. God said you shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden. Neither shall you touch it? Got An actually say that part lest you die but the serpent said to the woman you will not surely die. And so after they ate. I mean they didn't drop dead today exactly. They were still physically alive. They were physically alive but they began to physically die and they certainly span to spiritually die. It was a spiritual death that was there because we what do we see happen. Adam runs and hides behind a Bush with either God had made as if God can't see him right right exactly. I mean when I was a kid I used to catch lightning bugs and put them in a jar. I mean the lightning bolt couldn't go anywhere. I couldn't see it and Adam couldn't go anywhere. We couldn't see him because he I mean he's up new presence and that's the point is something in them died and this is what I believe. Everyone fears. I I know in sense. There is a physical fear of death. But it's this is realization that we will not exist anymore because we know that there's something of ourselves because we know if we chop off a limb which we wouldn't advise you to do if we lose a limb or we we lose a part of the body or where even in a coma and brain dead that we're still there something ourselves is still manifested but but but there's a realization that when our physical body dies there's nothing to anchor us and I think the first podcast we did kind of dealt with all you know how man is trying to make sense of this impending doom. It's coming up. And that's why they come up with Karma reincarnation because they realize that there is a spiritual part of us that seems to be lacking missing or that needs to continue somewhere. Yeah Yeah and so you know. It wasn't Lazarus's will to live. That saved him and brought him back to. Life was God's will that caused Lazarus to come back to life and it's God's will that brings a dead center to life it serves as a beautiful and loving reminder of my own depravity an inability to save myself or even. Keep myself spiritually alive. Well thank you for that night including me in that thank you. You're included in there. My right exactly you know. We all depraved. Where we can't do it. I mean I used to think before I was saved. That was like a tragedy. You know you know I wanted to do it. I wanted to do good things I wanted to prove myself on and when I realized that it was Herculean Task. It was a task. That wasn't possible for me to do it. Thank God that he sent his son. Thank God that God's GonNa do what they're capable of doing. If if God was fair he would let us try to to to to earn US observation. But there's no way which forced earning so it's a beautiful thing I think as believers to dwell on that that that you know like like a child whose parents kind of boost them up said it can you know get the toy sometimes. Don't realize that it's the father who helped him up. It's kind of that way you know. That's why some people have a little confusion about well. I well I saved myself I I. I reached out to God. No he changed your heart to eat and he so graciously set you straight on that back at long as you worshipping serpent. Sure sure and so. I was asking this question and it would disgusted. Where did Lazarus go? From the time he died till the time he came back like I said I eat the book. So I'm waiting so I I looked up different commentators and no one seemed to have the answer but I have the answer today. Ready for this journal. All right here it is. I got the answer. Turn stop and think about it up real loud right now. Here's The answer. Isolated exclaims guys and excessive debts. You're only going to hear it here. Deuteronomy Twenty nine twenty nine says secret things belong to the Lord our God but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever that we may do all the works up words of this law so it seems that this is one of the secret things that belongs to the Lord but yet I have another Glenn 'cause Koroma's 'cause I'm getting excited I think we get into it. Now there you go Romans. Eleven thirty three. Oh the depth of the richest and wisdom and knowledge of God how unsearchable judgments and how inscrutable his ways. So you're saying we we really won't know I'm saying that the answer is only God knows I just thought of one more verse. Isaiah fifty five eight and nine for my thoughts are not your thoughts. Neither are your ways my ways clears Lord for as the heavens are higher than the Earth's or my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. I don't think we can comprehend on this side of eternity this kind of question and it's okay We need to deal with the things we do. Understand in the word of God and It reminds me. I don't know if this is GONNA fit then. I'm going to throw it in there anyway of the kid who took a test and he didn't know a whole bunch of answers and so he writes on in big letters. Only God knows so. The teacher hands him his test back. And it says God get one hundred and you fail. That's right so I mean there are things that only God knows that. They're only in the secret chambers that the father the son and the Holy Spirit no in their Inter Inter Trinitaria Council and we are not privy to that council at times. And you know the verse that you just brought up concerning you know. I've chosen you from before the foundation of the world and who server will come. I heard of a picture of that illustration wear it. Somebody is standing in front of like an archway and it says who server will come and then they go through the archway they turn around on the backside of it once they're indicate it says I've chosen you before the foundation of the World I works. That's a good picture of of what of what is happening And at the same time you don't know what that means and the in between of that I just know it was God's sovereign hand at makes that happen from the WHO server will come to the I've chosen you before the foundation the world. God God costs the cause at the happened because man can't cause that to happen. I mean remember. There were two thieves between Christ and they were both dying or crisis between the two thieves. I should more rightly say and they were both dying right. They both saw the same Christ. They both heard his words. They both had an idea of who he was..
