Tornadoes kill at least 11 across US Midwest and South

"At least 18 people are dead across the Midwest and mid south as severe weather hit several states Friday, bringing with it reports of more than 65 tornadoes. Deaths were reported in Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana, Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi. Plus thousands of homes and buildings destroyed or damaged according to officials at a strip mall in Little Rock Arkansas Joanna McCain huddled with other customers as a tornado blew the roof from another building. We ran to the back, we huddled together, and we pray for our lives. Airline Abrams was in her store when the same tornado blew out a glass window. But we all made it into the bathroom, and it was only one person in storm prediction center forecaster Jared guyer says, these were fast moving tornadoes and the region will see more, possibly as soon as Tuesday. Severe weather becomes more common as we go through the remainder of the spring. I'm Julie Walker

Ed Reitz, World War 2 Veteran, Speaks Out

"Very special guest with us, Ed Wright's World War II veteran and has seen a lot Ed welcome to the program. Thank you. So Ed, tell us your story. Well, I began my life in Seattle, Washington. And the World War II came when I, when I was very young, and at 18, three days before 18, I joined the navy. The reason for that is my brother had already been drafted, and if he waited until you were 18, it was too late to do anything else, and you were whatever they wanted you to do, you did it. So I went and joined the navy instead. So my time was in the navy. So you've seen a lot over the last many decades. I sure have the the country used to be freer, I'm sure you could agree with that. Absolutely. Tell us about it. Tell us about what the America that used to get used to exist. Well. It's so totally different. And many, many ways. And much of this has come on in the last 15 years. I'll give you one example. I graduated from William Cullen Bryant, grade school, in Seattle, in 1939. And we had a school of about 900 people. And it was just absolutely common to have the nativity scene. We acted out the nativity scene of Jesus. And one of my classmates sang ovally night. Evolution was not taught. No evolution was taught in that school. I graduated from Roosevelt high school in 1943. As a school of about 2500. And again, evolution was not taught.

A Prayer to Persevere in Affliction

"God not only refuses to leave us in our suffering. He also goes before us. The lord himself goes before you and will be with you. Deuteronomy 31 8. By staying safe behind Jesus Christ, our guiding light. We allow him to lead us through the affliction. He will whisper a quiet, calming peace on even the most difficult days. In this way, he teaches us to persevere. To draw strength from him. So as we stand behind our lord and persevere through the trials we face, let's rejoice in our new understanding of godly patients in affliction. We can do this with Jesus leading the way. Let's band together today and commit to persevere and bear up bravely in affliction. Let's pray. Dear heavenly father. Thank you for your guiding presence. I know you are here in the midst of my suffering. It's hard for me to be patient and endure the trials I face. But you are a faithful God, and I trust you completely in the good times, and in the struggles of life. Your word says in Romans 5 three. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance. I don't always feel like giving praise when I'm sick or afflicted. Sometimes I try to understand why suffering exists on earth. But your truth reminds me that through the hardest seasons of my life, you are helping me grow in the grace and knowledge of our lord and savior Jesus Christ. Second Peter three 18. In difficult times, I learned to persevere. Thank you, lord. When I get impatient, wary are discouraged. Help me remember you go before me. You are leading the way, encouraging me with every difficult step forward. You also stand right beside me, offering peace and comfort. My affliction will not last forever. As long as I keep my eyes on you, I have hope for tomorrow. My others be drawn to your perfect love when they see me following your weights. May they see patients and perseverance in me that draws them to you. In Jesus name I pray, amen.

Chloe Cole Tells Her Story of Barely Escaping the Transgender Cult

"Welcome to the program. Chloe, remind our audience of your story and let's talk about the story at hand right now. Chloe is the floor is yours. Thank you for having me on, Charlie. I'm an 18 year old detroiter and former transgender child from the state of California and I transitioned socially starting at 12 and medically starting up 13 with puberty blockers and testosterone and I had a double mastectomy at 15. I stopped transitioning roughly about a year afterward at 16. And I've been speaking about my story since last year. Well, great. Well, thank you for sharing that. So Chloe, what is your current opinion? What should we know about, let's just say the drugs that are given to children or people that want to change genders, what it can do to you specifically, whether it be SSRIs or whether it be the generic is really called bupropion or the brand name. I believe it's called wellbutrin. I might be mispronouncing that. Some of the drugs that you were put on and yeah, and the drugs you were put on and the state of mind that you were in when you were prescribed these incredibly aggressive pharmacological agents. Right, so I was not only on blockers and testosterone, but I was also. On various other pharmaceutical drugs throughout my childhood, including wellbutrin, and I switched between various ADHD medications, including short form ones like Adderall and longer release ones like Concerta. And I had experienced negative effects from all of them and none of them had really helped with my actual psychiatric issues.

Transgender Vengeance? With Jack Posobiec

"Jack, there's going to be some hesitancy to continue to pass these bills. Preventing gender mutilation and all this, should we stop? Should we pause or should we move forward? Regardless of how they're now using this as threats to go kill children. Jack your thoughts. Charlie, I don't think that terrorist acts by a completely insane group should change us ever from our course of following our Christian values following the values that we know that work for children for our society and we certainly should never renounce these views or if anything denounced the views of our faith just because of some horrific acts that were taken out in response to that faith. And when I look at these bills, when I look at advancing these types of things, I think it should be advanced across as far as far as the country as we can get them. Because again, we are talking about bills that are not. They do not touch anything when it comes to over 18. We're talking about bills that target children, that whether it becomes drag queen story hours, these drag story times, the family friendly drag shows and increasingly transgender surgeries, procedures, hormones, that are given to children. These are life altering surgeries. And in many cases, Charlie and I've said this on human events daily, that when you are given testosterone, specifically, every study that's come out has shown this that it increases aggression. And so young men, you learn to deal with this at a young age. Well, some guys don't quite learn how to deal with it. But a lot of your formative years are spent learning how to control that aggression and how

"One of the reasons at least in the past maybe not now but you'd hesitate to call the police and say you know I don't want to get this person to charge just blowing off some steam People say dumb things all the time And they do but the sad reality job is we live in a very different time right now There's a copycat effect There's social media we live in an age where violence is inconsequential glorified and you bathe in it all day You have easy access to hardcore pornography hardcore violence at the tip of your fingertips What do you got to do Clicking on 18 button I mean it's a different world I'm not blaming taking a cheap route on some video games or the movies that's those are two those answers are too simple They may be factors depending on your exposure to this kind of stuff But that's not the reason We're just in a different time and because we're in that time this is not the time to just gap it off and say well they're just blowing off some steam It's our responsibility to do something about it Right And let the investigators figure it out Let the experts figure it out If you have a question you make a call the police will talk to them Maybe they'll get them some counseling And it worst maybe you have to apologize to that person but at best you've prevented a tragedy

"Now is Riley gaines. A former professional and professional former college athlete and swimmer who had a compete against Thomas, the man who is a cheater and she should have probably won the national championship if it wasn't for the man. Riley, welcome to the program last time you were here. We made a lot of headlines. And so welcome back. Well, thank you so much for having me on again, Charlie. Of course. All right, I'm gonna play this piece of tape for our audience. This is an ESPN little biopic, if you will. Celebrating women's history month by showing a man. Thomas, play cut 18. In 2022, swimmer Leah Thomas became the first transgender athlete to win an NCAA Division I championship by winning the 500 freestyle. The Texas native competed for three seasons on the men's swim team at the University of Pennsylvania. She began her transition after her sophomore season. She said she holds her persistence, serves a larger purpose. People will say, oh, she just transitioned, so she would have an advantage. They could win. I transitioned to be happy. Why are the women at ESPN putting up with this? I don't know, Riley, your thoughts. I have no idea why the women are putting up with this. I don't understand. It's like they don't see the irony of celebrating a man during women's history month. How are these women okay within? It begs the question, where are the feminists? Where are the women? Where is the group who wore the pink hats? Who wanted to empower women real women? I can't even answer that. I will say though that I just admire states shield who's an ESPN reporter. She does SportsCenter, I believe. And she stood up to this and she said this is wild. This is wrong. She recognizes the differences between men and women, men and women, and why it's unfair and harmful for women to have men and women sports and in our locker rooms.

Living for a Different Kingdom

"John chapter 18 verse 36 Jesus answered my kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews, but my kingdom is not from the world. There's a lot we could discuss here as Jesus is facing pilot about to head to the cross and this interaction with him. Even what he says later, he says, for this purpose I was born for this purpose, I've come into the world to bear witness to the truth and everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice. Oh, there's so much we could talk about there, but the reason why I want us to pray specifically for universe 36 is because of the simple reminder it gives you and me today that were not living for kingdoms in this world. We're not living for countries in this world. We're living for a kingdom that's not from the world. And a country that is to come and that changes the way we live and whatever country we are in. And it changes the purpose for which we live here. Our eyes are fixed on another kingdom, a kingdom to come. This is how Jesus taught us to pray our father in heaven all would be your name. Your kingdom come. This is what we're wanting. That's like the first thing we pray. After the hollowing of God's name and all the earth for his kingdom to come, and it's why we pray and most every one of these podcast episodes for unreached people groups in the world because of Jesus words in Matthew 24 about his kingdom, how the gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed as a testimony to all the nations and then the end will come. We want to see his kingdom come, which means we want to see people from every nation and drive and tongue bowing down to Jesus as king and experiencing the love and beauty and glory of Jesus as king. This is what we live for. Not anything else in this world. We live for a kingdom that's not of this world

While targeting will seek Russian weak spots, they are hoping from their blitzkrieg like they had last year, the Russian offensive is small, but we're talking about this is we're about World War I because it is that kind of a war and so the great German offensive would be followed by the great British and French offensive and then a German offensive than the Americans got into the war in April 1917, and it was over in 18 months. Because he just men and material flowed in from America into the trenches, the last offense of the ludendorff offensive, I believe it was called from Germany towards Paris failed, and then the weight of America was felt and it was rolled back. So Ukraine and Russia are sort of that way. Who's up? Who's down?

Our Country Deserves a Moralistic Standard

"I honestly believe in our country we should have a standard. I don't think that, you know, you should be mad at somebody if they want to identify with a certain way and be gay or whatever. But I do think that there should be things put in place to keep a moralistic standard, which means that marriage is between a man and woman and that's it. If you want to have some type of government, recognition, then you can call it a civil union with benefits and all other stuff that come with what they call government sanctioned marriages or government related marriages. You could do that, but just don't call it marriage. Because then when you call it marriage, then you start encroaching on all kinds of other things that are morally inconsistent. I believe with the foundation of this country. And the same thing with like trans and stuff. Okay, you can be trans, but you have to be an adult. It is against the law, the transition your kids outside of the age of 18. That's what I think should happen. Give them kids a chance to grow up, give them a chance to figure out what they're doing in life. It's a young girl, jazzy, what's her name, Jennings? Jazzy Jennings I made a video about her, her mama. The other day. It got almost a million views. This young girl, they transitioned her at four years old. And this is my biggest problem, and I feel like people are probably mad at Uganda and some of these African nations for Bannon and stuff because I think they see the writing on the wall and they're fearful of their society being taken over like ours have been in some of these cases. They transition this year at four years old.

"30 here in London. India has so far remained neutral when it comes to Russia's unprovoked attack on Ukraine. To discuss the reasons for this and whether the stance is likely to change, I'm joined by doctor shruti kapila who is director of studies in history at Corpus Christi college University of Cambridge. Should he good morning to you thanks for joining us. Is this Indian neutrality based on historical mistrust of the west? Can you give us some background? Well, morning, yes, I mean, it's not simply a mistrust of the west, but historically, at the height of the Cold War, nehru Institutes something called the non alignment movement, non Lyman movement, which was about newly independent countries who did not want to be part of a new imperial carving of the planet around as it were. The USSR and America. But I don't think this is about Nam, though the historic there's a kind of historic mindset in the Indian strategic community to not participate in big international wars or side taking of this variety. Precisely from that kind of post imperial setting of the world in the mid 20s. This is everything to do with what New Delhi in the last ten, 15 years has been calling, not just strategic autonomy, but that post that it would like to see a multipolar world. I mean, India works India's interests are driven. This is driven by India's self interest and rather than ideological. So if the 50s were about a kind of ideological positioning, middle ground neutrality between two kind of superpowers of America and USSR, this is a very, very much driven by pragmatism and hard self interest. So in terms of self interest, India has taken in this greatest supplier of defense equipment and appreciation and the like is Russia and has been so something like 60% of India's arms and ammunition, although it's going down over the years, comes from comes from Russia. Secondly, I think at oil, but then as the Indian foreign minister pointed out last week, that India's dependency on Russian oil is much less than say the European one. So it's not simply about oil, but really it is about seeking a new kind of world order where you don't have to choose between two between two groups in the world but have a series of multi polarities and kind of organize relations around that. Yeah. Just back to oil for a moment. India is actually increased its oil in ports from Russia since the war began. Is that a deliberate move? How significant is that? I mean, I think this is had some public discussion last week given the number of foreign dignitaries who have had gone to Delhi. And the answer the answer that the Indian foreign minister gave was precisely that in their takes about that much oil in a month that Europe takes in a day from Russia, but having said that it is increasing. It is about the fact that inflation is incredibly high worldwide. And in their economy to kind of get back on an even keel after the pandemic. So it's actually, as I said, looking after its strategic interests and in the past to India has had a history of taking oil. It's not an oil rich at all, of taking oil from countries which are caught in famously Iran. And it was taking oil from around until actually the Trump administration said, well, you can't be doing this. And that really cost the Indian exchequer a great deal and the Indian the Indian ministers are no longer wishing to make that error again. How invested is India and what happens in Ukraine? I mean, being on the border of nuclear armed China in Pakistan, surely Modi has more immediate worries. And will that influence his meeting with Boris Johnson on Friday? Yes, I mean, you know, as you know, several western dignitaries have visited in their including high level American ones. But India has kept its nerve as it were on this question, perhaps, increasingly making some more noises around human rights and alike in the Ukrainian crisis. But I don't think India is likely to significantly change its position in any international forum and regardless of Johnson's visit much delayed visit the visit is likely to focus on much like India would like to do on as it were bilateral trade agreement that the British government is also likely to seek post Brexit. I also think that the Indian in immediate concern is not just oil, but also it's greatest military vulnerability comes from China. And I think it's also managing the whole because given the fact that hostilities between India and China broke out only two years ago and India seeking to hard ball or seeking, but I don't know whether it will manage to do that in the upcoming summits, multilateral summits happening in the region, whether it's bricks or whether it is a G 20 that China and there are meant to be hosting. And it's really about kind of trying to assure its cards in relation to China in these upcoming summits for some military military or border on the border question that India and China have had. So this is not simply about Ukraine for India. It's a lot to do with, of course, international norms, strategic interest, but above all China. Doctor shuji kapila, thank you very much indeed. You're listening to the globalist on monocle 24..

"Impera seven fifty one here in london. Parlins government enraged. It's rarely counterparts last week. By passing a law which placed limits on the restitution of artworks stolen by the nazis. Israel immediately condemned the law as anti semitic because it effectively stopped survivors from regaining property seized during and after the second world war. Let's find a little found out a little bit more now by hearing from capitol do his apartment. Charles russell speech lease specializing in art and luxury. Asset law a very. Good morning tea de komo. Thank you so much for coming into the studio. So could you just briefly recap what this this. Huge argument is between poland and israel so essentially the the polish government have long struggled through different Through different governments to to to deal with the issue of restitution And the and the giving back of property that was confiscated by the nazis and the communists They had laws. In place that effectively nationalized properties that have been lost as as families try to flee the persecution from the nazis as i say governments have struggled to find the right solution that meets with approval with the local population but will say Attends to the needs of those that have obviously been wronged This latest piece of legislation. They effectively closed the door on any claims being made by families who had hoped that one day they might get their property back whether that's real property or art or other objects and is the main cause of concern between poland and israel the moment why does it close the door because most of the compensation confiscations happened Very shortly after during the second world war and this thirty a limit is from the date of the confiscation say mesa currencies of now being in gone And so claims will be maybe to get them off the ground to bring them to court. And that's what's the polish foreign minister said but the court sir and beholden to the laws of the land and applicable law. In this case will will say no to the claims and it appears because of the sort of suspicious specific time limit on this that the suggestion is that this is a deliberately antisemitic policy. That's the suggestion. And i'm not going to suggest that i knew. The tree made his behind it Countries not just paid and but other countries have struggled to find the right balancing act For these sorts of claims there there is a need some some say for certainty There is a need for for clarity on on how long these claims can be outstanding four and poland is taking rather more hardline. approach If you look at other countries In similar geographic regions austria for example. They attempted to set up a compensation fund back in two thousand That gave a time of just three years for for people to bring a claim it gave two hundred and ten million dollars towards claimants And that didn't meet with approval because it wasn't enough money pretty for for the compensation that families wanted. How does the claim system generally work. I mean he was claiming water. And how do you go about it. There will be people now who are walking around unaware of what their forefathers lost. Yes well it's not easy and you know. I think that's part of the problem that needs to be an access to this type of justice But it's it's often convoluted is often murky it it There there are conflicting laws. Conflicting international declarations. So it's not easy for for for an individual to to know where to start maced claims towards institutions museums And there's a there's a the ones that are usually successful or whether they're objects within a within a public collection For example and not work there there are quite now well trodden paths for claimants to go down and films like the women in gold Inspire and and enlighten claimants to bring these came forward. But it's hard when there's real property in place When people have pets bought and sold houses over a number of years And if there isn't the compensation the funds in place to properly compensate those who bought the house in good faith or those who have lost the house because of their persecution This this new real right answers and it's very difficult to to find one. What is the success rate for for restitution clinton. They're very lane. I mean we shouldn't throw stones in in glass houses here in the uk so to look at the uk and just from an art specific but background. Because that's where i've been involved in in prostitution and and a nazi repetition We have panel here in the uk. Cool the spoliation advisory panel. It's an advisory panel as the as the name suggests it doesn't any decision or recommendation it makes is not binding but If a claimant brings came forward to a museum that perhaps has an object that might belong to a family member lost family member. They make a recommendation on what should happen to it. They've had twenty two claim since incorporation. Back in the early noughties. I'm they've made a ten recommendations for us to be returned and of those. Any one museum agree to that and the other nine to to keep them. How frustrating is that for you. It's very frustrating. Well not not frustrating for for me as a lawyer. Because you you take on the client's 'cause and you're fighting their corner But it is much more racially damaging and upsetting for the for the family involved because often these objects represent are more than than the than the painting cameras which they might really and there were these different issues issues of making a direct claim against one person because of what what was taken from them but the more general claims against in a institutions and of cultural appropriation and cultural theft. Many people would say it's much murkier world. There isn't it it isn't and this. I guess this is a i want to say a thin end of a wedge but this has opened the people's eyes up Nazi restitution to to white issues of restitution imperialism clooney elizabeth and The arts council england here in the uk has appointed The institute of art and law to look into How museum should be resting. Not just with nazi restituted looted objects but will say african and asian which sits in the british museum and the victorian album museum. And and how do we do the right thing by those people because as you say those as important cultural intangible heritage and those objects cafe thank you so much for joining us on monocle twenty four. That's all we have time for today's program. Many thank our producers. Daniel h page. Reynolds and charlie film mcchord our researches sophie monitoring claims dos julia louis allen after.

"Or in fact actively discharging a firearm. There was no denying it. I inadvertently bought a pair of gun sunglasses or gun glasses. I was immediately upset and confused. First of all why was a shot called nyc racket sports selling gung glasses. Unless i'm even ila informed. And i think i am. Shooting is into racket sport but the main reason i was upset is that i had displayed my cultural illiteracy by failing to recognize immediately that the sunglasses were in fact. Sunglasses looking at myself in the mirror. Now it was obvious. I didn't look like a sporty butterfly. I looked like i was about to storm. The capitol building ultimately decided to keep the glasses the main risk of dealing with the kind of companies that manufacture gun glasses is that they are too high risk of promoting exclusionary social views. But i'm happy to report the judging from their instagram. The company that manufactured my glasses at least appear to enthusiastically embrace people of all colors shapes and sizes as long as they're heavily armed and unthinkingly pro america but mainly they really do cling to my skull with the tenacity of limpet during even my most vigorous backhands thank you henry and give you a string coat at the weekend off i. I don't really know where to start with that. I feel like we've learned something. I'm just not altogether sure what it is presumably. I didn't have. Henry is gonna become a fully paid-up member of the nra. I think that's obviously that does seems low. I i do like the idea of henry. Coming back from the united states is like absolutely full blown. Nra make america. Great again foil rare. It'd be amazing wooden fail. The potential was always there. No i always thought he at him. Look all i can say. Is that before buying my liter. My latest i guess purchase in terms of sports equipment. I did my do research and so two by bloomberg slash funding pack. However you what you want to call it. I went straight to go near because you know they make cycle. Things are very nice. And you know. So i think that is a failing on henry sheridan spot to be honest with you. Well let's him talk. Let house move along To consider the ongoing european football championships in the hopes of those of us who were assigned finland in monaco's european championship sweepstake cohort which does include the rather resentful. Presenter and producer of this program may be hanging by iceland and fraying three but hopes still flickers in the hearts of today's panelists. Tom edwards in particular has already put on his edward long shanks costume and painted his face with us and georgia's cross in preparation for england's match against scotland. Later this evening tom. How excited are you for this. This meeting with the old enemy. Oh i can hardly wait. I tell you the most interesting thing about this has been the preamble so often in sport as in life. it's the anticipation at send and our scottish. Brethren have absolutely illuminated. London the word for it Absolutely staggering people get on. Sundering is also something that is a motif of their behavior. Possibly visit the social. Media's as i understand there is a wealth of video and audio evidence of Just yet the scots enjoying themselves. It's great and i'm an interesting position. Invidious maybe ambitious perhaps andrew. Because not only am. I supposedly throwing my weight of sport behind england my home country. I e scotland in the sweepstakes. How i quite literally can't lose kierra. I did want to talk to you. Not so much about the sweepstake. Although i i do have it here written script to ask. Who did you pair of cheats get a we. We know that. Tom has got to you. Get into sweepstake. Well talking about not losing anatolian. So i'm invested very invested. But i got france in a sweepstakes and so someone's going to get the old prize. I think this day vote. I did want to talk to you about your national team in real life though because the usual thing that happens when italy come to international tournaments european championships world cups is they are usually and i say this as you know as a great admirer of your nation and people but the football team are usually awful just unwatchable tedious defensive and attritional. Incomplete contrast to the stereotype usually associated with your nation and people at this european championship. So far they have been actually quite fondly. You are you excited by this new. Look italy jay actually. I was surprised because i watched the game on wednesday and thoroughly enjoyed you. Normally there is a little bit of a sense of resentment kind of lingering because you like a wins away in and i'm always going to be behind them but you do. You can feel the frustration particular. Because i've watched the italy games with like in england in recent years right and you can feel the people around you see me like this is not fair because we do win eventually often sometimes. That's okay maybe a bit too pride only by literally crushing. Everybody else will to not so much. Continue as live ak but. That's the way in any way but i was very excited on wednesday. The game was You know thrilling and someone fully behind the team this year. i think we have the potential impact. If you read italian newspapers they will tell you that. Now italians recommended. They're in it for the win and that we had a new favorites and yes bronze go talent etc. But we've got hejin and we've got the team sportsmanship and actually when you look at it. I mean looking at the t. That a team on wednesday. When replayed switzerland what was really impressive was how joyful the team were even to celebrate like is relatively minor accomplishments like blocking across or something this you know it was just like yes we did it so i think when you have enthusiasm remember also that this is the strongest kind of for italy at an international tournament pretty much. We scored three goals against turkey. Three goals against switzerland so where comic where all guns blazing obviously as an australian. I have no dog in this hunt. And therefore don't care. But what about gary ruins kickoff to the sarin win it for geelong earlier today Tom edwards and charlie miller. We will have more from actually no. We won't have more from you both. I'm i'm supposed to thank you for joining us. It's my pleasure andrea. And i must say yeah garan impressive. But he's He's no malcolm blight have that That that's good to go. I feel we may have rather deviated from the point. Cower and tom thank you for joining us we will be right back with a look at the music industry. "Well. Let's continue now with today's newspapers and joining me as the political journalist and author. Terry he asked me good morning to you terry get warning speaking of infinity mirror rooms. I feel like this is a story that would just bouncing backwards and forwards and backwards and forwards. It's all about holidays to europe. We seem to be obsessed about whether we're going away in the summer. Yes i think well yes. I've sort of interested in this and following it very closely. The daily telegraph is reporting this morning. that The eu is going to decide on wednesdays likely to decide that there will be use of vaccine passports for countries such as the uk third countries to enter europe and they are reporting eu ambassadors and expected to sign off a plan allowing fully vaccinated. Britain's and of course anybody else to fly to europe without having cova test or quarantine which on the face of it sounds sounds and it suggests that this will come The meeting of ambassadors and it will then be agreed by eu trade ministers At the council later in the week on thursday and suggests that the uk is expected to be included on an e. You green list will allow travel from non-eu countries with low infection rates. The slight snag in this plan. Certainly from a british point of view that this would be allowed for people who have been vaccinated fully vaccinated so that would presumably include a lot of people from the united states for instance however britain on the other hand says the telegraph uk. Confers no such status are vaccinated status on people who've had the job and instead requires testing or quarantine for all returning holidaymakers. So unless britain adopted a similar policy saying you will be allowed back in without having to quarantine if you have been vaccinated. This could still be problems. Because britain only has a very limited list of countries at the moment which are on the so called green list. Which means that you can travel there with without having to stay at home for ten days when you get back. I mean they're all sorts of problems associated with some kind of vaccine possible in how it would actually work whether paps it's discriminatory to well. Yes that is also the question because yes obviously at the moment. Many countries are across. Europe are increasing their rates vaccination and they are speeding up box in most places. You can still only have your vaccine if you say over a certain age for instance if activity you'll saying that yeah. People possibly older people who've had the vaccine might be able to travel whereas younger people haven't yet had that chance might not be able to and i can imagine that many people might might not be very happy about that. Well those looking to go to italy. We'll be happy because it seems that restaurants will be reopening. Yes so according to larry. Publica says that The italian government ministers mets yesterday to decide a speeding up of reopening in italy and they've moved some of their planned dates forward so they brought this price a bit further. So for instance they will be making the curfew later. So you're able to go out till eleven pm after after tomorrow in fact After the nineteenth of may from the first of june People in italy will be able to go to restaurants both inside and outside. Not just on on terraces. As we're seeing in france for instance you'll be able to have a drink in a bar and sporting events will be particularly like this comment. Here they are. Gyms will be allowed to open An outdoor pools but the owners of indoor swimming pools particularly annoyed by this because their opening day is being put back to the first of july and the republic quits paolo borelli. Who's sort of representative of the swimming pool business. And he's he's asking. Why is the government doing this. They don't appear to have a reason know. Do they think that covert is hiding in the chlorine inside the swimming pool. So you can't you can't please all of the people all the time Not always i always wonder does become more virulent. After eleven o'clock the curfew doesn't make a lot of sense to me either. I think it's more that people don't say shall distance watch after eleven o'clock perhaps Let's look at people who are travelling but unwillingly or at least in a completely different way and this is migrants crossing the border from morocco to spain. Yes this is very story. Which i think could be one of those ones. That sort of greg. -nificant both lp's and the guardian in the uk. All reporting on this and alpi says the according to sources the largest ever number of people have traveled from morocco into the spanish territory. North africa theater in one day And they say that thousands of people says it's been five thousand. People have crossed that border in one day. Probably about fifteen hundred of them minors and the reason for this. Obviously this is some really desperate people crossing across trying to skirt. The breakwater that marks the border of going in inflatable boats or swimming Person is reported to have died but interesting. The reason for this is sort of strange mixture of politics and covert and according to the sources speaking to a place and the guardian. They suggest that because the leader of the polisario front brahim gali who has fought for the independence of western sahara from. Morocco has been hospitalized and he's been taken to northern spain for treatment with covert. Morocco is angry that spain has allowed him to have this treatment and an according to the sources that means that they reduce the militarization of of the border which is then allowed migrants to to crossover and said because morocco. Morocco has done this because they are not best pleased with with spain at the moment There is a big problem as they have to decide what to do with the people who've crossed the border and in recent weeks many people were returned to morocco be under terms of an agreement but unaccompanied. Minors are legally allowed to remain in spain. Spain has now has the issue of what to do with those people who've have crossed into spanish territory last dettori. Let's go back to something. To watch the puck is the second half of the season Actually go feed on this little sip on his phone. Clippers are over rated. I repeat the clippers overrated. I'm lou dead in the camera. "Family open it up so sank but and it was good. I read i was like oh. Yeah this is good. The only thing that made me sad was digging tip or not that close down and it reminded me that was one of the big bombers with you really correct it with rebirth is they. Were not so. I mean dick continues to be deep bat brothers and a little more like jason. Jesus went off on this one. Side quests. so it's in that we're kind of brotherly although it wasn't necessarily like we've been broke. The longtime was were grows on. This quest reminded now something that was sad. That kinda didn't really get back. Nope nope no batman robin ternal. Ob get some red robin issues towards the end of the year right. Well maybe next year. Oh yeah we could do. We could do the whole thing if you wanted to. Still grows in even red robin dicamba of They're they're definitely brothers. But then yet we kinda lose it. And i feel like they haven't told tim has really popped up in books. I mean sometimes gaming props up. But they've they. I mean in the modern. The modern times they have damian with that close relationship now fixing. It seems like instead of tim for the most. I don't like the kind of hinted that they were gonna make or sumi timid. Jason close. I feel like they didn't really totally elaborate on that. Yeah so it's a little bit sad. Really good family been going any sometimes to do. I mean i think they have good family thing going. They've kept it. Pretty decent. With dick and damian and with dick and bruce it may be know but. I'm not even sure that tim has that. Good of a family thing with bruce like cinemark on his own book where he wasn't really not i don't know but there's still some things missing from the old fifty two that i miss shots routine justice route. Dri call him greg. Who did that benfits shoot. No i mean i mean. We know that i wanted to mention. I mean we got some good stuff coming this year. We got a bunch of titans stuff and like his disappearances another like wonder woman back girl. Power girl Oh we got off. Wally splash book. So yeah. I've got some good stuff coming. Booster gold Mccain said some red robin yeah so let's grab bag for kids for the kids all right now about something that's coming up but why don't you that thing last night. It was just tom. Taylor should share like a piece of art. Nah yeah yeah. He tweeted out a it's a Burying cover for night wing seventy nine the april issue. He said yeah just amazing. Jamal campbell's variant cover. Yeah bruno redondo are having such a good time on this book. Can't wait for you. All to read it such reprinted. I mean it seems like they're having a really good time with its. Oh that's right. When i was looking through that man lack of white number i have has a night wing story in it. I'm not sure when that wants coming out. But i was looking through the list like my job has me order the stuff through through a web through a website. So can of scroll through what's coming. I noticed that once there was a night wing story in till the spring because number two came out last week. So yeah yeah. I don't yeah i just might be able or mesa remind but what we'll cover it. I'm just saying put on your on your police yours. I've been reading about batman black and white. it's good. I mean it's short stories. So it's right but he hasn't been in one or two now. Now yeah if you like stories about continuity. That's what i was going to go in to comment on infinite. Have you checked the dc shop parable. What is up with that. no. I can't be. There's no wingstop on this job. A bunch of stuff that they used to sell on the dc shops anymore like member. It'd they had that blanket that was flying. Reason thought it s not there thankfully if you bought universe incident and you got your the smell out our emailed out the other day the broncos. It's good years birth. Twenty twenty two but no you go to the shop and there's not very many things there. Yeah i was. I was really annoyed. So i don't imagine that anyone from dc was broadcast but if they do up your game in the shop money to burn. And there's nothing i wanna buy. That's why they give him a free money. Getting rid of the stuff they get rid of less problems. Are there anyway. That was so. I'm thinking rolling out more merchandise here soon. Because it's a little in on the ground exactly on decreasing gets more stuff exactly alright Mind distractions shall we. Yes wing seventeen and eighteen february and march nineteen ninety. Eight of course chuck dixon. Scott mcdaniel night weeks caution with very artfully shredded on her man. A lot of blood of now issue. Seventeen opens up with the stocking skies. I mean i should say the start of to build. He was already skirt on the edge. But this is going to tip him all the way over. But that was more a villain because he's like When we get the around the turk get my head. Turn back around. The doctors can't medically impossible. He's all mad. And then we get to yup dick swinging over blood haven. All last issue of them with his spitting new car and he's already like anti car. Art him swinging over the city is just funny are issue about the car now he's like parking non existent so i couldn't take the car some officers on a lot of street you know. I'm just now. Money does still have the bats coming him so always. Yes and here's some gunfire knocks the hired hunters over and realizes while adversity. He's a big man. He's a big batch shadowy up. Yeah and he's like bruce gone at least pick up the bone and call me. It's not it's not that man. Its man page spread ironic because that means more man than bad. But he's batman man. Bed is more bad than man. But he's mad mad at dick's thinking yeah. Hurries back in gotham. Didn't expect to see him down here and tickets in the face of their face. The enters and says tom tell me where. You're trying to kill man bat. Now we're fighting tranquilizers who wants a more live a woman paying good money in the hunters.
