"Is a matter of their Interest. Their commitment. To putting on what they see that this is again being sold right? But what do they always call it? The All Star Classic. It's a classic. The altar of watching you call it Annual I don't know what number this is All Star Classic. Well. You know? It's not a classic. The players who don't even go Players who have the honor to be selected. And invited Let's say no, thanks. No, thanks. I don't want to be a part of the All Star Classic. And I mean, I really don't get it. I'd like to say I get it. You want that three days with your family? And maybe the All Star break should be longer. Like baseball should take a big deep breath in the middle of the summer. And have a 10 Day All Star break. And therefore the players that play but also get four or five days off. As well as the other players. But of course, that would mean extending the season or shortening it. Which means less money to be at. Everybody wants everything right. I mean that. That's basically what it comes down to. They want 162. They want more time off. So Now they've decided you know what we want the 162. But in order to get more time off, we'll do this thing called Load management, and we'll just take days off. Left and right. And we'll end up playing. 130 games out of 1, 62 or 135. And therefore our season is shortened. We're talking about all the baseball season is too long 162 games Well, nobody plays 162 games then is it really 100 and 62 games? It is for the fans. But for the players, no one's playing 100 and 62 games No one's playing 152 games. So Maybe this is their way of shortening the season and keeping the revenue coming in. So this is the whisper way. This is the you know, they talk about in business, the whisper number for earnings. You know they're supposed to make this but the whisper number is Whatever. And maybe this is their way. You know we won't shorten the season because we want our advertising money and we want our gate and we want all the things that 162 game schedule brings us. But in a way to get around it. Whisper, whisper whisper will make sure that our players don't play anymore in 145 games, so we'll find 18 days off for all of our players. Within a given year. And therefore Our team plays 1 62, but none of our players play more than 1 45. And that, you know, I mean, I wouldn't put that past anybody. That that kind of thing is happening. And I think that may also be why. You know players don't say no, man. I'm playing. Because I would think I mean seriously, I would really think that that would occur. That players would be gone, too. Like a first baseman, or a D. H. And it's that we're going to give you the day off that players would argue back and say no. The way, Garrett Cole said no last night in the ninth inning and about taking the ball from him. I would think players would say no if they weren't hamstrung by Tradition.

Garrett Cole 152 games 100 145 games 162 games 18 days 62 games 135 10 Day 1 four 162 game three days 62 All Star Classic five days ninth inning All Star 130 games D. H.

"There's just a lot to look forward to. And the American League. You know, there's some really good teams, the American League, but I think there's some definite questions with the Yankees. Which means that you know, you never know. I mean, we we could see the White Sox winning a pennant. Potentially, It's a very least, I mean, I would totally believe being within the LCS. You love baseball. Everything about baseball is absolutely the most fun thing in the world. If there was one thing that you're looking forward to most as pitchers and catchers starts report and we start to get spring training games rolling here, What's the one thing you're looking forward to most this season? Oh, my goodness. So you set that up? Well, because you know, I would say everything If I was allowed, I would just say all of it. It's like, you know, I do these top tens and top whatever list from will be networking. Always like, Can I just make it a tie? I love all the players are all wonderful. They're all really good. But if I'm going to give an answer the first thing that popped into my head when you asked that question was Fernando twenties junior back flipping I'm sorry, the White Sox fans. I hope that's not a sore 0.2 teams really good, So I really hope that isn't but I'm just thinking of the first time that he crushes one. Maybe it's opening day off Kershaw. Maybe it's all opening down for Walker Buehler, who I think should start opening day for them. Whoever it is I'm so excited for that moment, sir. How should we kind of look at this 60 games last year in the stats that we saw players put up and you know, we talked about Chris Brian and the lack of stats and kind of gauge how we should project players into a full 1 62 season this year. Like how How are you Kind of trying to Put into context what we saw in 60 games last year. You know, it's really difficult. I mean, we I did some top 10 list by position back in January from will be network and it's really difficult because ah, lot of it to me ends up coming down to the players track records. A player like Christian Yelich, who struggled in 2020. I gave him a decent amount of grace. And I think you have to give every player some grace for how they may have struggled in 2020. For reasons we are aware of, and even recently might not be aware of. And I think that that just comes to all of us, right. We all deserve a little bit of a break for how 2020 went Do you think with younger players who maybe debuted in 2019, and then had it and we're really good in the word down in 2020 hits a little bit harder to really know where the true player lives in terms of output, but No, you have to be wary of rate staff. One photo. I have one. Soda was like the number to Claire and baseball and the number one right fielder and everything else, but his billion percentage his on base percentage. They probably would have been a little bit lower if he played more than the 49 games that he played. And Trevor Bauer ZR a would have been a little bit higher, but I don't think that that's meant to take away from what these players did. They did their utmost in the season that they had, but I don't think we should expect those types of outline our numbers. And 152 game season. But I do think that this is another place where stuff like Statcast really does help us. I mean, looking an underlying number. How hard a guy was hitting the ball how fast he was pitching, whatever else it might be. Is this a little bit more insight? That's a little less results based. So in my mind, the sample size is maybe a little bit less of it. You know, detractor there. Thank you, Sarah. We appreciate it. Thank you so much guys that Sarah Lang's from MLB dot com. Follow her on Twitter s. Lang's on sports. And whenever we talk to her, we become smarter. She is fantastic. I'm major league baseball so We'll talk to her throughout the season as well, and she's a great friend of the show. All right, coming up next. What do you have? I mean, what do I have? What you got? What do you know what I like You're working on something over there. I'm not working anything I was getting that was getting stuff to ask their length. E thought you're working on something that no. What do you mean? What am I working on over here? I'm talking to people on twitch. I thought you had something. What? Do you have something for me? You know what? You wanna talk about something? Yeah, we keep talking baseball. Is that okay? That's what I'd like to talk some baseball. What do you doing? Do your job We're going to break. That's what we're gonna throw to pray, which is making me a professional teas and go to break. What is this professional by men courteous as well. Coming up next more baseball. By the way, I finished dead last so last. I don't care. You're listeningto.

"For the last 2.5 months, basically since baseball ended Been Jones and I've been needing my fix. I didn't want my fix. And who better to give us a little dip into baseball than Marty Laurie from Arizona? Marty joins me on the human guests. Let Marty we got to January and I entered a baseball fixed, but I needed a Marty Fitch. Do what's going on, man. How are you? It's funny. I'm very happy to hear from me. You know, I'm down in Arizona. And I always tell people you know, even in these troubled times, as soon as you get into January, and the sun is out, If you listen carefully, you can hear the bad hit the ball. So if you listen carefully now you can hear the vaccine going in your arm. That's basically what's going up way. Look forward to baseball. There's a lot going on right now. And baseball made it happen last year. And we'll see if they can do it again. But there are a lot of legal issues going on. Now that have dictated some of the statements that have come out recently, you know last season and it's funny, You said, you know, once the calendar turns when you get to January's When you start to get those pangs, you start to feel like you want baseball. I was getting him in November and December, and I think Marty. It's because we didn't really get it. It all We got 60 games. We got about three months of it when you count the postseason, But baseball is the one sport. I guess. Hockey was a little shortened as well. Baseball's the one sport that really did not get a full season in, but we've seen now the NBA was able to do the bubble and other up and running with their full season, though they've run into some covert problems in the last couple of weeks, the NFL looks like they're going to get through their entire season, though not without incident. The college football season just wrapped up. Does that give you confidence? Does it make you feel like this thing is gonna happen, at least in a more normal state for 2021? I think so. Last year was so abnormal. Have things changed immediately in the middle of March there, But this year as I alluded to earlier The labor agreement, says baseball players will show up February 15th and play 162 game schedule. They want to be paid for 152 games. The owners have said Okay, show up in February and will be prepared for a spring training and 162 games. Now. The issue becomes which they did say in the statement about night get wrote about it because of what could happen and with the federal government and with state governments and with health protocols. This may be changed. So where we are right now is we're looking at a full season. But of course we're at the mercy, and I said this last year, we're at the mercy of coping. See what have that impacts. But to your point baseball now has gone through it once and they understand the protocols that have to happen, and I think the players are on board with it. Really do they want to be paid and they want to do it, and now it's up to the owners to create a safe environment for them to get it done so well, Seymour this year. I think we'll see fans at the ballpark in limited numbers. I think we'll see a little lesser of the restrictions on the players because of vaccines and then being vaccinated so the season may not start March 28th and they may 1st They may get 140 games in. They may get 100 and 62 with seven inning double headers, but they will do their best to get a more normal baseball season. This year. I firmly believe that and I think to your point the fear of the unknown is sort of gone now, right Because you said it. They've been through it. They've seen other leagues go through it Now. You kind of know what works. And what doesn't. I guess What comes to mind for me is I wonder how many risks they'll take? As far as travel is concerned we saw last year, The Miami Marlins were sitting in a hotel room for like, two weeks trying to pass Cove it and it ripped through their team. They were pulling players off waivers, but I want to know Are they gonna be able to fill out a schedule this year? Well, the Giants go east. Will they crossed the Mississippi will they have to play the Mets and the Marlins and The Phillies and some of the teams in the Eastern Division or do we think they're going to try to play it safe just to get through the year? Maybe do with the NBA did what would you think about releasing Maybe just the first half schedule up front and then dealing with the second half when you get there. Well, that's not the way baseball usually works. I think they're going to come up with a schedule of games. And attack it and go at it and see what happens. Now. The difference is this year, there will be triple aid teams play. You won't have that. You know the 60 players sitting around in Sacramento that they're going to try to get the minor leagues at least Triple Eight. Now double a A and below. They're gonna have to wait to see what happens. But I think baseball is going to attack it. And I think they're going to come up with the schedule and then played by here from there. They learned many things last year about adding to the roster and how many people they want to have under control, and I think it's important for them to get the TV money. Get this thing to October and do everything they can to do it. So as far as travel is concerned, I think there will be a schedule. I just questioned when it will start. I think that's the biggest issue because if it starts in May, there's a good chance that there could be a lot of vaccines administered by May, and there'll be a lot more confidence and travel. I just hate that. We may go through a whole nother in spring training, or ah, few months here when we're discussing that the length of the season it was just it was such a pain last year to do it. Then we finally get into the season and it was so nice. Half baseball, and there's actually been some activity while the free agent market has been huge, Marty the trade market for released the I guess it's just the Padres and the Mets are allowed to be involved in the trade market, but it's been kind of fun to watch These teams build the potteries one. Maybe a little bit more scary because they're right here in our backyard giants are gonna have to see Blake Snell on these guys. Yeah, it's interesting for Steve Cohn taken over the Mets and the New York You know you're fighting for the back page..

"Called Deep Background. I'm a Harvard law professor and a Bloomberg Communist. I testified at the House impeachment hearing. So I both studied the news and have on occasion even contributed to making it in each episode of Deep background. I interview an expert or a policy maker to explore the historical, scientific, legal or cultural contact behind the headlines. You confined deep background on radio dot com or wherever you like to listen. Trivia CD is already a media almost obsolete. The first CD was introduced to the consumer market in Japan in 1982 CDs didn't make it to the states until 1983 with the first CD pressing plant opening stateside in 1980. A n dot com Taking interior here on Fanny for Moose and Maggie. Hope everybody's having a good Monday, Alright what? 877337 66 66 So take before we get to these coals here and ah! You know whether it's the cess pit. This legacy also do want to defend the Mets, which I haven't done yet. I dropped that in a little bit. We'll get to Aaron Judge coming up taken on the way in since we haven't done it locally. Although I was on with burning, go a couple of times imploring the Jets to trade Jamal Adams. We'll get to that. Even squeeze in a little thought. Or 21 on fibs, and and the Knicks higher there. Some hockey is going on to, of course. So the that I don't understand this, All right? So take out a rough day on the golf course yesterday only because of the par threes and by the way, take that is a beast. Of course. Yeah, I know. I understand that. It's not an easy track. Can't be. I was I played there at an outing years ago. It's about Alpine, right? Alpine Country clubs. Oh, that's who take e rolls With these days. Alpi Tees it up, boy Licence CC invited me so I had to go see? See so to somebody else I got just so what? What? By the way, what FCC shoot roughly 1 17 What? Yeah, he hits the ball mile, though it just not street. Is he play Lefty or righty? He's left his left left big brushes. It crushes a door like 3 20 off the teeth. Is that true? No doubt, boy. Rest of his game must suck. If you shoot now it is most of the time off the teams like any other fairway. John's gonna play it back over. Still actually scores pretty well, considering you know how random he is. If he ever figures that out he's got he's got a good short game. Hey, will has got some time now. But it will Monceau. We everybody knows Manz Mozzie. She loved Monceau. He's producing as always, and we're going back and forth on a Texas morning. Just kind of setting up the show, and Mon said that he almost had an eagle yesterday. Right side. Or maybe it was Saturday over the weekend, and Ah, I was texting privately how to get some of the reeds for the show. Whatever. So I said, you know what happened on the on the eagle here? And kind of took me through the mechanics. A little. A little doggie right? About 500 yards is, you know a couple of 100 off the tee, and it's ball naturally fades to the right and then kind of set up a nice second shot. He hit about 1 90 on the ground war in the air, and it rolled in. Bava blah. Got about a 10 footer for eagle came up for inches short. So I said, Well, that have been your first eagle lets you know what his response was. I don't know. Who the hell How do you not know if you didn't have any need for one? I remember obviously who I was why? I've only had one who I was with where I was. I remember that like it was. Of course, I'd never played walking through the parking lot calling my boys the weather What I was wearing. Still don't even know if you ever had an angle before. Yeah, you, Amon. So that means that means he has it because he would exactly that's like, say to a guy. Hey, you know, you ever get lucky with the girl? Well, I don't know. I mean, maybe. I mean, you know, I mean, you know, but I don't know. Maybe, but I don't remember. All right. So the old expression goals go and we'll get these calls. 8773376666 How will you remember? Cess Pit and really, How ticked off Are you? I've seen a lot of iron towards the Mets, which I think is misguided. But the old expression Deke adversity builds character. My dad's always said that also reveals it and I'm sorry. I'm not trying to pile on. Not trying to be radio tough guy. No respect process, but zero as he walks out the door, none. I have on form. It's I mean, given what's gone on with him the last couple of years. It's it's easy to see why you would think that Bt's 34 years old. He's not hitting well at all. I didn't play it all last year because of something that you know, make is after nine seriously, right, so I get why there's iron there. Mud's still the Mets. If someone's messing with your money in a pandemic, I can understand why you get upset. Now. He probably got upset too quickly on let his immediate emotion dictate his immediate action, which obviously you can't come back from. You know what I mean? Like I'm up to now. I changed my mind. I'm gonna come back. You can have more. Markakis did. Yeah, I know. But more like student. The Mets wouldn't let him back to my point yet. That's my point. Psycho Scratch man ST. Stay down in Florida. We don't need you right. Where is Mark A kiss. It was Like before the season started. I'm really nervous about this. You know, I just had this conversation with Freddie Freeman, who just got over being sick from covert 19. There's no way I put myself in that situation. I'm out. And then once he sees them struggling, including instant begins the Mets, he says, I think I'm gonna come back. That's different. I agree. Totally. I don't even need to add to that totally agree. Let's get Matt, who was in ballooning down the jersey first up on the fan. Maddie. What's up, buddy? Are automatic interior hate doing it? Hey, guys, gentlemen. Thanks for taking the call. You know, I'm used to waking up, you know, in checking my phone, and the first thing seeing is the Mets blowing a lead. I gotta tell you, I wasn't shocked at all. When I looked at my phone this morning and see that Quitter. Despot is actually What? He should do it quick. You know, this guy belongs on a on a farm, you know, chasing wild, bored smoking. Newport's isn't belong with the Met and don't defend the Mets. You know what? This is us exercising our demons. Hide us actually getting new owners and and maybe smart people that we don't have to pick up says I'll give the young suspects that I was there in 2015. It's the first Ah playoff game at Citi Field hit that home run that place we shake, and it's on my instagram is Betty. It was so good that that was it after 2015 he's done nothing but steal a paycheck. Jason Ben is Roberto Alamar Mobile junk He goes in with everybody else cannot wait for next year. 2021 baby. It's like yea saying goodbye. Well, the good thing is only at this. Well, you're going to miss 50 games. It's not like you ducking out on 152 games to go. So you won't miss much. Yeah. You're not gonna miss much. But here's the thing. Teac. You know, I keep saying, I'm gonna defend the Mets Liberty. I don't need to teach us the whole show. It's not a huge defence, but I do think it's it's somewhat interesting, and by the way, I expect most of the calls to be like that. Last one. I get 877337 66 66 What kind of press release with the Mets supposed to put out? I know it's easy, like when the next do something wrong or when something happens where Well, maybe if we interpret this a little differently. Maybe we can kind of craft a a bit of a different narrative, but because it's the Knicks we don't need to When we jump into the negative end of the pool, which, by the way, I do and which by the way I get But what would the Mets supposed to write in the press release? My only issue, Beatty and again I'm not defending suspicious, so don't take it that way..

"Chaka. If this was like a work stoppage in 1981 where you said, Okay, it's a 60 game season and you don't have to deal with the virus and the uncertainty of the virus. I would be more against now that I've thought about this more as the days have gone by, I'd beam or against the extra inning thing. The idea the doubleheader thing and the eight playoff teams the reason why I'm even stunning myself. Jodl warm up to the A playoff teams. Is how cookie this season and I think at this point look, look, My fear is not this year, because this year all bets are off. We've already who knows how it's gonna play out. They're gonna make rules on to fly. I mean afterwards. Yes, Like you said. It's very fluid situation. I just don't want to see if you've heard me 162 game season to eliminate less than half of the sport is absurd. No, no, I'm dead set against that. That that that's just a start Dead. Sonny. Here's a different story, but that that it all went forward would be ridiculous. Besides the obvious with what's going on with the Marlins and the Phillies, I'll tell you something else that has really spoken to me. Even if I'm not a nationals fan is this one so dull thing? The fact that one Sodo feels fine has not tested positive for Cove ID, and he can't play Joe if the Nationals missed the playoffs by a game under the doormat, But this is not even a major league baseball call, right. This is the wass. It is baseball. So here's how it worked. It was major league baseball until about 24 hours ago because they were saying You need tohave the two negative tests in a row or something like that. So why? Why can't you play now? Because now he's determined he can't play no known itself. No, no. So then I think it was yesterday. Baseball finally cleared him. Now They're waiting for approval from DC, which I think they're expecting now, and he should be back in the lineup. Okay next week, But my point is any day that he misses in a season in which we talked about boy every game matters. Every game's important. That would be tough if the Nationals missed the playoffs by game, and they're only five teams making the playoffs. That's a part of why and look, these things are gonna happen. There's something sort of similar in Cincinnati where Mike Moustakas. They told the guys to do this. Hey, if you're not feeling well, bring it up. Don't say nothing Say something right. And so I guess Moose stocks and Nick's Enzo with the two guys who said, I don't feel that well, they held him out for a couple of days. I felt better. There were no positive test and they're itching to get back into the lineup. I know this isn't perfect, but I think that's a part of why putting more teams in the playoffs takes the away the possibility that the team would miss out by a game and you could cite the four games move stock and say, See, that's why we missed the playoffs. Yeah. Now look, I look Ah, sold on it for tissue have sold not basically anything right now. But this year Yeah. I mean, I think that that's you know, that's how we have to view it right now is as baseball fans. I mean, it's every day and something new could happen at any time. It is probably gonna be boring stuff going down. Let's hope that this outbreak with Kamala is the worst. We're going to see if it for anyone team, but I mean, I think well, that's are off At this point. We just have to 16 thieves is fine, but like I said, we get to 162 games. You can't be having a 16 thieves makes. No, no, no, no. And I think most people agree with that, and hopefully it never happens. Whatever happens. Let's get to some of your calls. I get you to the Met roster changes in a little bit, But first, let's go to Kevin and Peekskill. Hey, Kevin! Kevin, How are you? Hey, How's it going, guys? Our first time calling it ever welcome. You didn't thank you. Thank you. Thank you because of the mess mostly. Ah, very passionate that Stan and Jackson like you, both of you. My point of for last night. I do consider myself an optimistic that man, but Approach between between consort of intestine is definitely very difficult. Because once you get in that little count, you gotta find your pitch. You gotta like workmen was struggling. I feel like they both could have Lay off that there those 20 curve balls to avoid that. You know that first heaven pointed it out before says but has had a pitch. I forget what the count was. Fouled it off. Yeah. You know, I agree with Alan and then go right and I love the guy, but I wish they would have both taken approach to maybe just Taking a single. They're taking a double, you know, kind of the only other way a little bit. I feel like that's something that the team is lacking right now early in the season, But my other point is about Conforto general Corner called in about him not being clutch. And I don't agree with that. I do believe Conforto has shown very much moments over, I would say about conforto. That's frustrating for me is I feel like he loses his approach too often throughout the season, where he becomes either home long hockey or forgets to go the other way, because When he first came up. He looked like a guy who said, always be hitting 2 80 or better Yet, with the power and all of a sudden he's become a 2 50 hitter. 40 hitter like con me. I feel like for his career. He should be a two way No, you're right. Kevin was when he first came up in 15 He looked like more of an average guy, 16 was a weird year became a lost year. 7 10 feels a lot. He also Goto left field a lot. No doubt he was more of an average guy like in 2017 when he had that all Star year, and then he got hurt. He had about 2 80 But you look at the last two years we've seen that average dip. It was interesting during one of the breaks. I looked it up because I was curious. Just statistically, is Michael Conforto clutch and he hasn't been. I mean, if you look at runners in scoring position, two outs, runners in scoring position, latent clothes, they're well below his career averages. But watching him every day. It never jumped out at me that Conforto is a guy that I fear coming up with guys on base because of his lack of clutch nous, But I do want to admit that when you do look at those numbers over the course of his career They are not great. Hey, aren't those just the facts around it? But I still don't look at him as a guy with when there are guys on base. I fear him coming up. Because, right, you know, right? No, I don't. Either. Stand is in the standings in west orange cheese. I stand, gentlemen, How are you? What's up? Not much more. You know, It's Bill is here at this real quick, Did you? Uh, What have you picked up the cause of recently or what? And the only club I picked up is I wanted to drive the golf ball as far as I can, but I have not. I haven't gotten into it. I think someday I will. But I'm still not there yet. Still hoping to play baseball, you watching take off right now. If Yes, you are. Yeah. No, I'm still watching. You got something that you see your guy, Brandon. Todd has four of the poise. What shot behind the shambo? I I did notice that. Yeah. Victor Goblin is one on because I got Victor Avlynn, who just had a couple. Pretty good looks of birdie did not get them all I'm looking for from hobbling any of my guys I bet is Get me to the weekend in it and then get me to Sunday in and then you got a little juice, a little excitement. No way. We will all get together and do that, But Hey, I wanted to mention you said before jump. Why don't even have the idea of 40 man this whole situation right now. They don't know what they're gonna have to season. The finish. You know, and I look at it from this perspective. This is entertainment right now is not a situation where you've got a regular season. 152 games. You know what you bring people and you bring people out on this thing You want to keep people is out is possible. Think about this. You got a 14 to 10 game, the one conducting game. How many people between two squads are actually being in such a way You were going to come in contact with each other. Out with it 14 10 game. Obviously, there's a lot of base runners situations at every base situations where you know what Stan Stan the evidence early on. Is that this virus doesn't spread between opponents, Right?.

"The cooler weather is sticking around through the weekend house will be in the seventies for the coast and Basin with eighties for the valleys and inland empire. Expect gusty westerly winds for the deserts where temperatures will be in the nineties. This is Belinda alone with NBC Force Today in L A. Right now it's 65 in Seal Beach, 63 Dana 630.67 in West Hills, 66 that not Inglewood. We lead local live from the kick off I 24 hour news room. I'm Jennifer Jones leave. Go morning will handle here and the morning crew Thursday, July 23 big stories that we are carrying, mayor of Los Angeles said. We're not going to shut down any more. We're going to stay status quo because we are at level orange. And the Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell, today is unveiling is $1 trillion covert rescue package cares too long ways away from what the Democrats wanted. Alright, moving over to sports and announced Mo Kelly to join me on this one tonight. Major League base Small starts And man, is it a different kind of baseball starting tonight? First of all, they're going to be using a basketball instead of a baseball, which I find very weird, don't you, Moe? Except they're not. That wouldn't be weird. Okay, well, all right, so I got in a little bit wrong, just a little bit just a little bit. So let's go through some of Ah, the the the new normal with baseball. Well, I don't want to be too inside baseball pun intended, But there are changes to the actual game. The endgame play and also what's going to happen in and around the game. Like, for example, the Dodgers play in the national and customarily the pictures would be hitting. They don't have the designated hitter in the National League. Well, now there's going to be a universal designated hitter. And teams in both leagues will use a designated hitter for all games, including the playoffs and you want to preserve a universal designated hitter, One guy that goes all the way around all the teams and hits Yes, That's exactly what they mean. Thank you. But also this. They want to keep the games as short as possible. If it should go to extra innings, a runner will started second base to start each extra any and this will be done for the regular season on Lee. This is just to increase the chance of scoring. So you don't have these elongated games, which go long into the night like 15 and 16 innings, which we've seen on occasion. Can you imagine that ever happening? Told you that in the future extra innings would start with a runner on second base? You know you're out of your mind, Handel. This is a big change for baseball. Because baseball is built upon purists and stats and not change. They want to be able to compare eras and and the game's supposed to be ah, comparable today as when it was played 100 years ago, at least in terms of rules. So this is really, really a big step for baseball to make all these allowances and changes now how it's gonna play out in the Ah Statistical Hall of Fame categories or awards. No one knows, but they're just trying to get through the season. And without going, go ahead. No talk about statistics. That's one of things. You're right. Statistics are everything in the game. So when you have a truncated season, how do you compare hits E R A R B ice compared to a season where there was 152 games versus a season where they're gonna be 60 games. I know how many they actually have in mind. It's like the remember the The home run. It was the fiasco. But when Roger Maris broke, how about this? I actually know this right when Roger Maris broke Babe Ruth's 714 records It was six down. Sorry. Sorry, right. It was 60. It was 60. You absolutely. And I think he hit 61 but it was in a longer season. Yes. And so it's all. Ah, it was Hank Aaron, who hit seven over a lifetime. 7 14 Do I have that, right? Yeah. Babe Ruth was 7 14 And Hank Aaron with 75. All right. You know what you don't want, Teo. I'm halfway there, Mo. All right, I'm gonna You know, I'm 1/3 of the way there with the point I'm making with all of that is that you can't eat apples, apples, and it's not going to be apples to apples with the stats in a truncated season. But also stats have had less of an impact because of the steroid era. It used to be where if you get 500 home, runs your automatic for the Hall of Fame, and then you have people like Barry Bonds hit over 100 or whatever number 8 11 Something like that. It's questionable if and when he'll get in is questionable when a Rod will get in, is questioning when pictures like Roger Clemens will get in so statistics Used to be everything. But now they're not for a number of reasons that I think that's part of the reason why the shortened season won't have as much impact. Alright. Yeah, And how about the fact that the play by play is done by guys at home? Well, you know it. You won't have that in stadium experience. There may be some broadcasters who will go to some press boxes, but they're trying to keep as few pot people as possible. And thanks to technology. It allows broadcasters to broadcast the game from virtually anywhere. Most people don't know, including Vin Scully. When they're in the press box. They do have a monitor so they can see exactly what's going on all over the park and also on TV. Certain angles they couldn't see. So it won't be that much of a From a broadcasting standpoint. Right. So what other other changes in terms ofthe social distancing? I know how to use social, not social distance in baseball. Ah, and masks and the testing. What's going on with that? Well, physical distancing players and managers are to remain an appropriate distance from umpires and the opposing team whenever possible. I don't know that how that works when you're running the bases, but for the most part, you're supposed to stay away. They I guess they won't be shaking hands at the beginning game. They won't be lining up side by side for the national anthem and players are managers who come within six feet of an umpire or opposing player to argue or to engage in a verbal Altercation. They could be ejected and find immediately without regard to the truncated schedule. In other words, you could be kicked out for 10 11 games and that's 20% of the season right there easily. Again and play and players on opposite teams are not to socialize or come within six feet of one another before the game during warm ups in between innings or after the game, So once you arrive at the park, you can say hello, but from a distance, and it's a very different baseball and the part that I'm going to miss the most. When I do watch baseball, the manager's going up to the umpires and half an inch from their face screaming and spittle flying all over the place. Ah! I'm going to miss that. Well, Earl Weaver before we go to break Earl Weaver of the Baltimore Orioles was known for doing just that intentionally, And to that end, they've written into the health and safety rules that there is no spitting at all unintentional..

"Maybe his technique behind old plate. How porn is that for Garrett Cole here? I think it's cute that you saw what happened last year with no issue, but they had a personal situation and how that can spin out of control pretty quickly. I think that it's important that you and I remember one day when I think in Andy's personal catcher. Yeah, it was It was. It was kind of a wacky situation because my family was the main catcher. And it just didn't feel comfortable with the way he went about it. I think that's probably the best way he was still giving credit. Even Girardi. Thank you could always get credit. I don't mind going to jail, but I just feel comfortable with Jenny. You know the exact situation. It's important for a picture to show the capture that you know what I have confidence in you on and I think that's something that call have to do it. Jim. Did he ever get more specific than that, Pettit? I mean, like about why he felt more comfortable with you. What were you doing that put him at ease. I think for me it was the way I was able to frame pictures and be able to steal strikes to have That they didn't feel comfortable. That was one of the good things that I did behind the plate with that with that strange pictures pretty well and get strikes, working empires and I think I think Andy was cut and the complete opposite of me aside, the intensity I drowned and oysters in what he tried on that, But yet he was still in a quiet, calm one. And I think that combination worked well together. Um, did that create any kind of issues with you and the other catchers are no, not really. I mean, you could catch every single day and Mike Stanley do same day it was an opportunity to get back the line up and Usually if I was going to if I was with my Stanley, but I was catching Michael Music th a caustic and the thing with Joe was kind of like, okay, I'm gonna take that I get two days off a week. Our Jimmy can catch. We'll talk about what you're doing with the wizard world virtual dot com This cool world Siri's hero thing you're doing tonight, Jim in just one moment, but along the lines like say, you have Gary Sanchez, who's healthy, say you of Wilson Ramos, who's healthy. How many games can we expect them to catch 60 game sprint? How many days off? Do you think guys like that need if they're healthy? Well, I mean, if they're healthy, it's gonna be tough for the backup catcher because you want to start a guy in there every day. If possible on DH. I think another 10 because it is depend on performance. It depends if Gary has improved defensively behind the plate and I've got work done from things, which you think logically you would be doing that in a 60 game season. There's a lot less if I can tell you being captured is a lot less chance. I'm getting laid behind the plate because you're not going to be dragging as much as you would in 152 game schedule. Moussa Maggie with you here on this. Wednesday midday, Mr Guest Jim Leyritz, two time World Series champion Greatest nickname as well. The King. For Jim and Ah, World Siri's hero in New York Mets it that is exactly right, Jim. How difficult you know the approach here 162 as compared to 60 Well, we know about physically being in shape. But what about the approach and the different tact and the importance of these games? From a player perspective? It's going to be 100%. That's all right now. I mean, we have no fans in the stands. You're gonna have to motivate yourself. Get yourself up. Get yourself going. I think that's going Tio physical side. I think it would be great. Most of the players because get only 60 games you can pretty much go for board. The whole time. Uh, but I think on the mental side that's really going to be a challenge for a lot of guys because something some guys like LeBron James through basketball. They slide on that that fans and off they often intensity that you get from the fans. It's gonna be difficult for some guys. So, Jim, tell us what you're doing The school thing tonight, you Roy White. Bobby Valentine. You're doing a Q and a for fans. Could you tell us about this? Yeah, They called us with this idea of going skin because we're not doing sweet appear kids. We're not gonna be doing all the interaction that we normally do during the baseball season with fans. People are starving for, uh, just a baseball and so they came up with this idea that we would be three of us will go on a killing. After three years, many minutes and then after that, Q and a people want to do personal messages to people who want to step on a phone call a father or a son or whoever. That they could a have the opportunity to do that. They wanted you to want to get some memorabilia, Bacon order memorabilia, and we'll find it for them and make sure ship themselves. It's just the way it has to be able to interact with the fans. Get them to make a little bit of money. But at the same time Ah, you know, being able to just interact is something that I tell people all the time. I did. Being in the stadium. I'd miss going into the suite and talking to people about our memories and their memories of our championship teams. We missed that just as much of the fancy face. Jim, and it's seven o'clock tonight, Right, Jim? Seven o'clock tonight Wizard World virtual dot com You could check it out. Valentine, Jim Roy White. Amongst those, And that's tremendous because you're right. I mean, people are clamoring for the interaction Jim and to be able, have a conversation chat, fire out the questions and and be able respond. I mean, that is that is tremendous interaction for the baseball fan. Yeah. I mean, during this code of change on that front line workers were really having a hard time working on these chance of not having time to eat. We were doing a podcast on Facebook lines just raise money from the mine workers. You know, we would put it out just on Facebook by followers of a guy named Cole back, So I did it with followers, and we went over $50,000. And it was funny. That's what we stop doing the podcast. Because my lookers weren't eating food any more. We stopped doing that people call you please. Could you cut people keep talking about baseball thing back? I'm Don Mattingly brings back all these guys that we had. Because they were just starting to hear about baseball. So it's gonna be great. I think to get baseball back and get them playing, even though it's going to be no fans that people are gonna have something to watch on TV and to be able to talk about Did you leave? The game's gonna be starting blade? All right, Jim Leyritz is our Mr Guest. Give us a little behind the scenes here, Right? Under normal circumstances. You goto a packed house Yankee Stadium. You're going sweet, Sweet, sweet, right, saying hi to people season ticket holders of the big spenders and stuff..

"So from a player's perspective, 100% understand where he's coming from. Oh, by the way, check out Dawn's piece. Richard Sherman blasting a new NFL jersey swap policy. Tom Palace, Sarah's, You said. Saying that they can't get within six feet of each other. You can tackle each other the entire game. You can sweat all over each other. You could bleed all over each other. You khun snot all over each other. You can breathe all over each other. But you can't swap jerseys and makes a lot of sense. Yeah, exactly. I mean, I think that the way I put it was another meaningless mirage of the league carnage that they actually care about player safety, And that's what that's what the NFL does We know that they cast their meaningless mirages. So, Hey, we care and another sign of Let me let me give a message limit. Let me show something without actually doing something without actually putting action toe words like he said, How can you go? 4/4 of tackling people are being ah, being within inches within feet of people piling on top of body. How are you going to tell me that you're going to be six feet apart on the sidelines? You can't be 60. A part in the game can be fixed with a party of sidelines. But hey, after the game we got you. You guys can't swap jerseys and hey, don't get too close after again like that. It doesn't make sense. But that's just another way of them Showing. Hey, we care but business as usual with that, which is exactly what they have. One of the whole office is business As usual. They don't want any delays and training camp. I don't want any delays in this season. They want business as usual, but this is just a way to show we care with. Actually, Karen football's a sport. It intrigues me about the decisions that some of these players could make like we're seeing base, but like we don't know what's going on with Buster Posey right now, he said the other day that you know he hasn't made a decision yet And now we don't know. You know what the situation is with him in summer camp, But I wonder if because NFL players have such a short time that they can play like It's so many baseball players play for 10 12 15 years. I know that's the elite few, but for football, it's such a smaller period of time that you can play. I wonder if we'll see guys like Richard Sherman, who's in a contract year. Say this isn't safe enough. The NFL does not care about us. We're not going to play. Yeah. I mean, like you said that the shell life of an NFL player has won a couple of years. Maybe maybe three years. If you look at the average life, and you know you have a record, Sherman, who was It was tested. Ah, father time a little bit in the last few years. But if you have a superstar like that, that that and that it has been someone that has proven that he will voices opinion. Then that would be huge. It would. It would really actually test the league and I'll be interested, Interested to see if that happened. We were obviously seeing that with Basil, but it is a different sport. It is not this beat you down. Contact Sports Journey usual 152 games season, a former grind it out on their body. The official labor that NFL players taken a whole different ballgame. So we haven't got there yet. But with training camp right around the corner, it will be a little eye opening it. If we see these bigger names come out and say, Hey, I'm not showing up right now. Let me slip him a little bit of Giants here. So as we talked about no Buster Posey right now. Personal reasons. No Billy Hamilton personal reasons. Brandon Belt has right heel pain, but let's focus on Posey for minute. Do we have any idea what these Personal issues are because the first thing that obviously pops to mind is and I don't blame him whatsoever because of the slow start. The testing is off, too. But he essentially said he's in wait and see mode to see if he's going to play. He's here so that I would believe that he's leaning towards playing. But now he's gone again. Do we have any idea? No, I mean, hey, he's brought up the obvious risk of being a catch her with these, you know, with actual social difference thing you are at an end of an inevitable risk If you're a catcher of your first basement Being in close proximity, the players and he has to be thinking about that. You know, he has he has he has kids. He has a wife. He has a family. And so you know, As far as actual personal issues go, they're just going to leave it at that, for now, which is 100% understandable. But Yeah. I mean, you can't fault him as you said, And I think that's just kind of what it is that he was speaking for Every player right now is that I have two latest. This summer camp is very much seems like a text for a lot of these players. I know how comfortable do I feel with everything going on right now, whether it be on the field or the way that the clubhouses spaced out, so I think for him, it really is kind of just a kind of a testing ground for the summer came and kind of see what happens on board. John. We haven't talked about this yet. This morning. About an hour ago. Major League Baseball released 2021 dumb missing A baseball schedule does anything, say 2020 means nothing Mohr than releasing a schedule for a season? After the season. That hasn't even happened yet, like what's this about released this season, and we have no idea what for. It was less than four days, man and then we got next year's season. I kind of just about these kind of meaningful Rogers as Faras. The NFL goes, but this almost feels like another. Hey, remember baseball comeback? There's next year. Be excited, but we're going to give 150 games. Everything is fine like I couldn't make much sense. I mean, sure, Maybe the Giants are gonna play in Seattle on opening day. Like, get excited. We'll see. But now I mean, it was. It was just weird. There's no other way to put it, I guess. On on on time. I just saw that in fact, Alex. I was looking at Alex Pavlovich in his His feet and he said they just released the schedule. Like what was this a couple of days ago? I mean, yeah, of course it is. And then I realized it said 2021. I was so confused. I don't understand hell seriously, why not Just use the original 2020 schedule by the way? Just one thing back out. He's used. Nobody's played it. You don't have to have to reschedule. Things lost its the same divisions you're playing. They still got the NL West, playing the Ale West. I know what the what the issue would have been. They don't know He's going to catch up, man. Thanks. Great work is always appreciated. We'll talk too soon. Stay safe. You got it. There you go. Good stuff. "Change. I don't have flip flops. Because I don't tell you need the mount flipflops on the wall behind you. You know what when I go to when I go to California. I think I'm going to get a gold chain. That's got flipflops on it and they'll just wear it around my neck. Miguel what what can we say I would say that Miguel is more of his point of view is more technical so he looks a lot. Yeah when Miguel reviews a game he goes into way more detail and Joe does or John. We'll we'll have to find my written reviews. It can read one of those and see which I don't. I already have enough. I already fall asleep. Sleep easy enough. I don't need more help. I'm getting thanks by wait. Let Miguel definitely like his reviews of games and things he goes he goes deep dives deep. Or as I'm more of a service person it looks pretty Yeah I'll go in depth about mechanics and whatnot and I will say and my brain's wired of the three of us. I am delete Gamer. And there's four of US Chris. There's a picture of Chris on the screen but yeah I'm probably the least game right. Laid the least amount of games I've invested the least amount on a time in gaming But I like playing video games and I really like hanging out with these guys and talking about video we talk the cool Miguel's cool fuck you Chris. You're cool to fuck you. John and we talked about how. I'm like very strict and where I stand on my opinions and my thoughts and I don't like I said earlier solid so I was just GonNa say Chris it gives everything a chance so he is the opposite of me in that aspect he. He's very positive about everything that comes his way for the most part. There's a couple of times when it's he's very opinionated and doesn't want to give things a chance but he is very open into everything that comes out. y'All try that game. I don't mind I WANNA do this. Yeah so what appreciates about Chris is that what what you preach about it. I just wish he would give us a chance. That's all I gotta go. Oh no worries no worries. Yeah thank you guys so much on your game very impressive we really appreciate it man. Thank you yeah. Apologies for Christmas Internet I'm here two and a half hour five cash normally. They're only hour. Maybe hour and a half. But I don't know what happened today. Joseph I really do appreciate your man. great work on your game. The Moore's Sorry my Internet was garbage and I I think the storm really fucked everything up to save time. But I'll be editing for the next couple of weeks and I will release your interview. I'll be released in your episode. Probably around Thanksgiving time and I'm going to separate from the original episode that we're doing with star wars cool. Yeah well thanks. Thanks for coming on the show man. I think you should come back anytime you want. Yeah thanks for him though. I don't like not being able to see what you look like. Yeah I'm thinking about getting a camera just having picked India. Do you have any facial hair. I do a little bit if you could compare it. Joe Chris Miguel. Who Do you look the most like? Probably Joe Man. Miguel did just shave his face. Oh Dick Yetlis. His costume for Halloween was awesome. Awesome just the aftermath was bad so yeah thanks for having me makes her. Come in. Thank you Greg Luck and good job thank you I like all right. That is the end of our interview with the Indie game developer. Joseph Floyd now I know at the end of this podcast. It sounds a little strange. Like as if we scared Joseph Away but due to my horrible Internet connection. This was the only way I could piece it together. So what you heard was to portions of audio piece together in the audio and between was a bunch of robotic interference and you you would not understand what we're all saying if the listeners are interested in picking this game up it's out on steam for nineteen ninety nine right now so go check it out a game on and happy Thanksgiving everybody. "Yeah Do you guys have any other ideas. Ideas like feedback. You think I should look so still further one that you're helping out the player. I think you should call it the difficulty for Joe and then after the one where they're just going and on the road that one as Chris enough. It sounds like Chris. Full steam ahead knows what he's doing. The Joe Joe which is surprising. I have alternate titles suggest. Thank you John. My title suggestion in for the easy difficulty. It should be mommy helped me for the hard difficulty. It should be fuck off. I think those be interpreted opposite of what you're intending does if it's a horrid game and it's called out me that's a harder difficulty hold my hand man fuck off I got this yeah. Those are my suggestions that being said I will probably never play this game. Joseph I apologize it is is not my style game. If you come out if you come out with a game that is not going to scare the shit out of me and play that he likes bright colors like an overwatch I liked. I like far cry. Bright bright colors break dollars. I like guns are really like Gods. He wants to feel safe safer and people that I can kill to stop them from attacking me to call of duty. It might be a killer monsters. You don't know how do you shoot a ghost with again. I don't know but in Louis's mansion you you can use a vacuum of some sort and it's nice light and a flashlight. Yeah Joseph. Do you have any questions about the consul Jones For us at all. Oh yeah like how did you guys get started drinking beer ear lots of beer giant episodes after they started drinking beers. My so this episode Blah Blah Blah after. We started drinking beer. I didn't start on the PODCAST. I think it was. It was in the ninety s somewhere maybe late eighties episode. Eighty something if so ninety before I became a member quote unquote of the PODCASTS. I started started listening episode. Forty five or fifty. So I originally Ed Miguel playing overwatch and he was cool so we became friends on Xbox and then he realized how cool not and then we played overwatch. Watch religiously together for like a year and a half and then I finally found out that he had podcast and so then I started listening to and then I started giving feedback and they invited her and a half ago. I don't know I'm terrible with time. Anyway we played a overwatch together for a long time and I said it wasn't a bad cast and then he just never laughed and they can't get rid of me now now now I know where they live the original idea behind that. I don't know where Miguel he moves. Not going to say where but he moved but he's moved a lot but no I think the original idea behind the council drones was and to to bring something new because at the time I guess there was a lot of stuff that was out but we felt like it wasn't really accurate because it was either like college writers writing for magazines just as a job and they weren't really gamers they were just you know college educated writers and they wanted to write about something so they're like John based on definition. Chris and I are not gamers either because Chris Never beat games and I don't know anything about games just acquire but anyway we went off in a previous podcast broadcast and then there were there. Were some points of views that we felt weren't being covered because it was like mainstream stuff off popular games never really gave India chance or Miguel. Had you know a lot of points of views that were different than and some of the writings that was going on at the time. So did Chris and so did I. So we figured out like we were just you know hanging out together in like did. Let's just let's do something create a website or let's do originally. We were doing reviews so we were reviewing video games. God I don't Miss. Let's those days at all writing reviews posting them online. And all that stuff so we were doing that and then I was. I'm a huge fan of top gear and I'm like what what's the next step. What can we do to to raise US above? You know the bar and we'll top gear is about cars. Well why can't we do like a top gear type of thing but with video games and that was like the first web show was the battlefield versus call. Oh Dude discussion. And then we had the bloopers with the Black Fag. I mean black flag. That's on Youtube. But yeah that that was after that then it just went on from there and evolved into you know us during the podcast plus doing a video podcast turn into us just hanging out and talking every week. Well I mean so entertaining we had like some of the most awesome EST or the coolest list hangouts. Was You know US drinking late playing beer pong and talking about fucking video games and just having a good time and it's just like Jesus why can't we get this captured in some way or some form and you know and then we said we need a guy with a wizard. We need a guy with a big beard so yeah image so yeah. He's he's made the tank Chris. Hunter I think McGill is like the rogue or the stealth guy this Asan. Yeah I'm the I'm the bar. No I'm the asphalt but it's just basically what it is is just building a community or building a team that each of us has our own perspective on video games. "Very cool so I have an off topic Joseph. Have you played the witcher three. I have not but I've seen it played What are your thoughts on the wizards three? I think it's great. Yeah it looks great. That is a pain Eh. Joe McGill. I have off topic question. minecraft that'll be addicted to figuring out your Balza tugged insurers the Folk Jones. You know my donated on topic. Joseph ever seen letterkenny have what do you have Hulu Wash Ladder Kelley blue bag letter. Penny engineer. Seven seasons What is it? Seven episodes season the twenty five minutes. Long something like that. It's amazing it's Canadian humor. It's amazing using their stand. All of the things that we are saying Chris Desert no because he has the watch. TV Eh. But Miguel. And I have an fucking all out so back on. That was on topic today. Yeah I was GONNA okay never mind. We're good audio. Just went to Shit for a second you go on so I know. Now we've talked about your plans for your future games. What is next for you in this development cycle are? Are you starting a new one. Are you already in the process. What does that look like? So right. Now I mainly trying to promote the Moors and Just just kind of get it out there more. I'm thinking about again planning out the next game but I actually started anything yet Mainly just marketing marketing tough Guinness and that is why you were here ear marketing to our one listener. Earl Earl as Earl Earl Joe emel play the Moore's Joe doesn't play PC games day but IRL doesn't play console games so you know there it is got our two we got two people. I'm sure Davor City number are listening to you are listening to number two bigger than two. But don't lose. Don't listen to John Yeah. We have more than two listeners. But on average the only people who respond and are Tom Brady slob. Neighbors and Earl and you brother some Jason basically all of my friends fucker. Your friends the right there on the screen awesome you guys have anything else for Joseph. Know what Joseph what what pushed you into doing your own making your game and getting into game development. Like what was your motivation for taking this six year journey that you've had to create the Moors and the future that you have planned for your company. So what got me into games. James was the elder scrolls for oblivion came out and so I played that game a lot but then I noticed that they had a little tool that you could download online called the construction set and is basically a little level editor and let you alter the game. You can add stuff remove stuff change stuff and so I was just fascinated with that and I I was modding outing oblivion for five years way back when and then after five years I decided you know what I think. I'm going to try and make my own like my own game name. And that's how I started and it just slows you on this journey Eh. One last question you have no one to what you have no programming like that no no Utah you did. You have to learn Programming languages like Ad. I don't know anything about voting coated in. I know I've heard the term c-plus blast. I don't know what that means but you have to learn stuff like that where you have to learn how to programming yourself or does the program that you use to do that for radio. Oh Yeah I had to learn programming so in unity I use C. Sharp and Yeah basically further than that. I I took a short little class in college on C.. Plus I haven't used that a whole lot and unity because unity does provide a lot of shortcuts China with C.. Sharp so you can do certain functions and unity without having to go super deep into cone myself Programming Three D modeling animation music expound effects. I make my own textures. Like I'll go and I call it. Texture hunting go out and just take pictures and stuff. And then I throw it in a program and let me make it into like a seamlessly title texture. Then I'll texture in sketch up and yeah. Yeah it's a whole journey of learning things. Let's go awesome Man Holy Shit. That's way bad ass so working with Chris I'm sure you've heard he's a VR junkie. Are you gonNa make VR version of the Moors for Christ's lists so Because Joe wants to look at that said I have right. I had recommended it. Yeah so if I could learn what I would need to do and if it's even Um if it would be practical with the more than I could look into that but I am looking into at least porting it to xbox in playstation. See what is involved in doing that. So that's awesome so I know it's probably hard to gauge this. How over the six years? It's taken you to develop his game to the point where it is now. It's probably hard to gauge. How much money mind Jay you've invested into it would yum? Yes I I probably haven't spent a whole lot a lot of the programs that user free for free. Google sketch up has a free version but now they have the whole pro version thing. Unity's free as well unless you want the pro version to get like the watermark off of your game. It's like right now. It's like forty bucks a month or something. Yeah but other than that. Let's see I bought a camera longtime ago to make my own textures and and The microphone for a lot of the sound effects are voice and then other than well. Yeah the BIZ. Biggest expense would probably be the sound effects effects libraries and the music programs. Those are probably the biggest. I'd probably say if you were to put like a ballpark. Oh Park I probably spent maybe over the years. Maybe like ten thousand toll. Wow Wow but I mean stuff is stuff that you will still have to use. Develop your next your future games too though and so it's not like it's ten thousand dollars per game if you're counting just stuff you have to get to make it as far as your music library and your taxes and stuff in your your equipment. Time is a whole different story. As far as how much money you would say for your time but but all of that stuff that you've invested into making the more as you can still use again when you go and make your future games. Yeah the stuff I could K over is mainly only the sound effects and textures and stuff but most of the Internet's been going in and out for a second. They think that storm hit me now. Migrated I'll be next week. Yeah mainly the biggest thing taken away from. This game is just the experience of make like making mistakes aches and learning from it. Yeah and that's just so you know what you should do the first. Yeah but that definitely going to speed up the next game and I'm going to compare it to something there's really not a comparison parison I've been trying to teach myself how to program excel files. I'm not good that I've been teaching myself so I the very very small scale. I understand a little bit to me on I love. Xl Myself How to do it. Well John If you have questions sending me I can help okay. I'm learning I'm getting there. I'm self taught as well Nice job. Excel's fun. Google amazing question for you can't remember what it is at either hurt nope nope. What's your favorite beer? Do you drink beer. Do not like Beer Jack. Jack Daniels is a Jagannath or do you have another whiskey. That's better also like it's like Vanilla Login Bean. I like that too. I'm going to ask follow up question. How old are you twenty five? That explains it. Ah I don't know what that means. Either that's just that's ages is really good by the wins is number. Oh voodoo rangers awesome. Did four four nine percent. Alcohol solid solid. You're going to have a good time tonight. My wife is GonNa get Lucky today. ooh that even here sweet well. I really enjoyed this interview. either batter bitter batter really enjoyed having. Can you on our podcast. Do you have any questions for us. Joseph about the concept drowns in my God hold don storms hitting me. It's fucking white outside own everyone's frozen the my Lord Congress. It isn't true here we go my Internet's back. Not Quite this bad. It's we always have something right. Yeah you're still in your date. Bit Chris. Net food like this. Every twenty episodes maybe fifteen episodes that it doesn't I would say once every four episodes just see teams really spread out. Oh Yeah we go once a week and we hear in there. Well Yeah so all right Chris Christie. Where you're do you have any questions for us? Yeah I mean you think it's good so far Dr Phil. That's how you Gel as far as what I played. It's good but you know going along with the feedback. There is a slight. You know it it is really you. It is Kinda slow in the beginning but once you like I said once you figure it out then it starts to pick up and then you kind of get used to the game mechanic and you kind of see the thought process in the game of like okay so now I know type normally like when you play a game you can have some up the type of game that it's going to be within the first ten fifteen minutes the game but with this one. It's like that so once you start playing it you're like okay. I see the type of game that it's going to be. I get I see or my strategy has to play or where how. How have to play my strategy as I'm going along the game so you know again like I said any survivor game? You WanNa pick-up anything and everything that you can because you never know when you're going to need or what you're not going to need so brute force Joe Dan Force but yeah once once I found once I found the tools now now when I go back and play it I know where the key is. I know where the tools are. I can go in and just get through it and get to the good the juicy stuff Chris. I hope you washed your hands. I did okay. We're good. I'm going to work on the beginning pacing of the game and easy. I'm GONNA work on the easy difficulty difficulty having more of a lending a hand to the player.

"As you're going down law All oil light a candle so you have a trail going. That's why I had mentioned to joe in the novice levels like to to make that candle burn longer because I've done that and then I came back and it was already burned out. I'm like now I'm lost like Shit. The candle burned out already so or have have light it. Just have something from behind. You go turnaround just like nothing's there and you're like people that just like what Joseph you've got to do that that'd be so awesome. We see the candlelight. Whoa out real quick just has to be random? It can't be like right every time you gotta be. Sometimes it'll you'll hear right. Oh aw man that when you know you strike a match and lights on the first time and there's other times when you're won't work. I'm like mashing the button like liked it. Yeah it's all right so all the candles in the in the game. They serve more than one the purpose. So they let you see but then they also have to do with creatures that are in the game so uh-huh so if you do go around lighting all of them and they'll eventually burn out on their own then you won't be able to use them later than you might when a save some of them So you've got to strategize. I knew that I knew there's a reason why there is so fucking many candles out there. Because I was like I was like I. Don't WanNA burn them Paul. Is there a night vision. Goggle cheek that we can use daylight moat. Maybe John Aww can you see your feet. No A- At first I was I was GONNA add a full player body but it caused a lot of issues with the whole crawling mechanics. You able to Crouch and crawl in. There's no preset areas as you can crouch or crawl. It's just whatever you can physically fit under so it was just causing. Some problems with the players model was I'd have to do a whole bunch. Bunch of animations and I K rigs and stuff is just getting kind of complicated okay. GOTCHA MM-HMM COOL so Joseph. How long have you been working on this game? So when I first started working on this game I'd say probably it's probably been like six years our that's when I started. I didn't know anything like like complete zero about making games at all. Lee is like a learning process like this game has changed stove the much over the years the first version is just. It's ridiculous I look at it now and it's like that's so bad. Yeah I just have one question before we start asking her. I start asking questions because I have a couple couple of random questions and here that aren't related to anything at all so I just wanted to get engaged in D. regularly listening to this podcast. Now I didn't know but the buckfast until Bill Chris. Talk to me about it. We're since then I've watched a couple of episodes though. Okay what what type of games do you generally play in your free time. I'm only like gains where you can build like minecraft seven days to die seven Days Strategy Games is like firefight studios makes a whole series of games called stronghold and they're pretty old but I still play him and they're just I I love them. They're great nice in your own words as the developer of this game. What is the Moore's so the Moore's is a survival horror game where you're only goal all is to escape so like you don't have to do anything really All the stories stuff is completely optional. And every everything you have to tackle you can tackle in different ways so for example you might need a key to adore or maybe you can find had an axe and break down the door or maybe use a crowbar on the door. Help Joe here. I found the ask the stall the tongs. I found it all in that one room and then I was like acts okay and then I was going to go to the park. It was blocked that caved in after the Get Body got whatever and I was like hacking away at it and it didn't take didn't do anything and I was like. Wow I try that new brute force Joe Brute Force Holt Folks Mash but everything in the game reacts to the large items you can use like like the axe so you can break windows. You can hit everything all the furniture all that stuff. Can you kill monsters with them. Maybe you could try swing swing Wayne mad about it so go ahead go ahead and go. Oh I was just going to say what is the origin of I might butcher this. Kristen Eva's where does that name come from. Is it anything specific or so. The name itself evolved over the years but I wanted to. I wanted to name my company like its own word so I didn't want it to be just too weird stuck together you know. Oh I wanted it to be like a name. I wanted it to be so if you see the name immediately know what it is you know eventually. Yeah but the really what evidence. Entertainment is is. This is the name of the world that all major GonNa take place in then like. Even this game connects to have like a whole line of games that I have that I'm GONNA do eventually. But they are all connected in the same universe. Wow that's like Stephen King esque almost reminds me of a dark pictures. And what They're doing with those projects. So that's really cool. Yeah Awesome Joe Arena. I was GONNA ask. What software are you using to develop this game or to create this game in model? Yeah so when when I first started so the first thing I tried this way back when cranes and three had just come out for the public and I tried that for a little while but sense it just came out. There is no documentation notorial. No no youtube videos. Nothing so I got as far as building a house and having the monster just standing there T. position floating around Eh. I quickly realized that is going to be too hard to learn like for first time using that so then I switched over to unity and that was back a unity three lives the version. And I've been with the ever since now. They're on two thousand twenty edition so the unity is the game engine us and then to make all the three d models use Google sketch up and I use mud. The box for any organic shapes like the players hands cool. That's really awesome. That's really awesome. Yeah that was Kinda ties in Grad John. A another question I had I wanted to ask what does it take. Ah To create the audio or the environments for game. Okay so fair. The audio I use. Reaper is a free workstation. And that's how I make all the music and all that for the game all the string effects or anything like that for all the sound effects. If I don't make them myself using my microphone and a bunch of editing then I get get him from like sound libraries that bought over the years I might make sounds together and totally change how they S- found and yeah and and then as far as environments is it similar you you build most of your own environments for you. Take some samples samples trees and in that foreseen. There's you're outdoors. which is not a very? It's not doesn't seem to be common with the game where you're outdoors you. You seem to be confined in this man this manner so those are all things that you built yourself or was that just parts you brought together for that part of the game since it was seems to be such a small portion of it. Yes Oh On the outdoor scene. There's only you too elements of that. I didn't make myself So the trees are from a tree. Pack that I bought years ago and then I've added them a lot. I changed attacks. Cher's and kind of unity has a a Tree Creator where you can edit trees. It ever had been made aid them in their. You know mixed them up and then go van that you roll up in. I was having trouble making a van with an outside. I an inside with a detachable door in ketchup scientists finding one that worked well enough. Yeah but then other than that everything outside did I also made myself very cool very cool and Fox. The Fox that runs by Elsa found John so you said you have other Games plan to have you. Do you have any other a game out currently now. This is my first one that I've released is your first run okay. So you said it's taken you've been working on this game for about six years but but as you said you when you started you know anything about game development now that you're six years in and you have all this experience if you were to now. Oh start doing another game. How long is that development process? Let's say you were to start this game over from scratch now knowing all the things that you know how long what's the development development timeframe for this game. It's a fire to try and make this game again knowing what I do now I could probably make kit in. Let's say probably two and a half years let's take awhile L.. Just as it's just me so every little thing I've gotta do plus you still have to keep your day job you know. Yeah Yeah Yeah. If I didn't have to go to data it'd be great. I could just do a lot faster so okay so then let's I guess my question Russian is if this was your job and you didn't have to go work at your day job and this is what you do for a living. What would the timeframe to build this game? So if if I could just work on all the time I'd probably do in Probably maybe a year and three-quarters that's great which that's massive from. Oh I'm hearing you said you have seven levels Um and you did all the audio all the everything's for this game so that's Brezhnev. Yeah very impressive amazing. Yeah that's great. So then you said you have future games planned that are in the same world world Are they all going to be the same kind of horror genre or you can change any do different different genre or maybe maybe survival game that it's not horror something. Maybe I wouldn't be interested. Yes so the way. I'm I'M GONNA approach. The whole world thing is through three different characters so the Moore's takes place through the eyes of a guy named Jack and then his game. This one is a survival horror but then he's also going to be in the next game which is a different. It's more like a Probably more like seven days to die esque like open world survival. Kind of game with some crafting stuff. So that's a he's moving onto but then there's other characters that are have their own games and they're going to be completely different genres and cool. I'm Christi Yeah so When when you built the Moore's did you and did you enter any Easter eggs into this game? Anything that came from your personal life. Is there anything that you implemented into this game from from that that you that you could you'd call out in this game. Did you ever get trapped in a mansion with ghosts monsters like did you regularly related to your experience like like they. Did you put any pictures of from your personal life into this game or anything that you can that that you added to this game to add that extra flare and character that that shows that Joseph did this. You know what I mean. Yeah Yeah in office. There's a portrait of Alice on the fireplace. Ace and that is actually a photo of my mom when she was a little girl. The pain sitting all paintings in the house all photos. I've taken on vacation in different states. Different countries is that are turned into painting that. That's.

"Yeah I was fucking around seeing the ghost or seeing the monster it reminds. There's an old game that was on Sega Saturn it was called deep. And you were in space and you were running through these corridors. But you'd never got to see the monster you just. I knew it was coming. I would prefer not to see the monster. kind of like in What was that movie bird? What was the one with Sandbox Berber box? You never actually got to see the monsters but you just saw the aftermath so I kind of like I kind of like the fact that if you don't get to see the monster Mr I'm okay with it. It's just a suspense lake. Like holy. Fuck something something is chasing me and leave it up to my own like fucked up mind to imagine. Imagine that what this monster looks like and just try and get through the game John Gill John was first. Okay McGaw. Yeah this week this week on flippy floppy with Joe I I know I feel like if it was vice versa. And you didn't see the monster. You would be upset that you didn't get to see the monster no not in this type of game actually playing it every preferred not to see the monster because once you initially really see the monster. You're not really scared anymore. Is You know what it looks like. It's like seeing alien for the very first time you didn't know what the fuck aliens look like. You didn't know I know that it was going to be right there and just you know so once you aliens was just like okay. We know what the Aliens Aliens Three and Blah Blah Blah Blah as it goes on but if you leave that to the gamers imagination of what the monster is you're actually horrified and more terrified than actually knowing what it looks like Jon so so to that point yet. If you don't know what the monster looks like the your imagination in your imagining everything that you can possibly think of. What is the bad guy? Once you know what the monster looks like or the whatever it is then you can start to try and develop a plan to defeat it yet. If you don't know what what it looks like. You're still in the dark and it still always gonna be that constant like what am I work dealing with this. This constant anxiety really really is what it is and it's GonNa keep you on the edge of your seat so that's cool. Yeah John I think he I think he would like it. It is scary as far yeah No no it's not. It's not like it's not like until dawn type light airy well. It's not it's not like you know at least so far what I've played. It's more of all your new cookbook. It's very psychological for sure. John I watched probably the the video that Chris Santa's in in our text chat yet the video. I watched up to the point where he went into the mansion. In that amount of time I don't even know how long that was five minutes. It's a video where he's drives the van up to the mansion. Sure two minutes I knew in that amount of time. I was not going to play this game because I don't don't play Horror Games. I don't play anything that's GonNa give me anxiety or me have to worry about something jumping out skipping shed. I like those games. My brother Played Silent Hill with my buddy who. That's a great earl. The first one back in the day I watched I would not play that game arear than hearing that fucking static over the walkout. That was the scariest part of the entire game and demon when babies for that game. I don't play those games at no-interest I don't watch horror movies. I takeaway scary shit because I am already scared of enough things. I'll admit I'm scared of the dark. I'm scared of the ocean. I'm scared of the ocean trick or treat John Buck you took retreats not scary. It's I don't know it's a good thriller. It's but anyway anyway Kudos to you. Joseph because in two minutes of preview video for your game I knew it was too scary Gary for me to play definitely it was. It was good the the amount of video that I watched it was good quality. I liked it. I liked it enough to know it was not a game I was gonNA enjoy because I do not enjoy scary games. uh-huh yeah it definitely and that was the old version of the game John You haven't seen the new textures and everything. He's he's totally revamped. The game the videos that I saw our from like two years ago and he's definitely made a good. It looks good. Yeah so he Joseph Hato think you you the other Joe Yeah. He's made a giant jump with overhaul that he did with with the textures and everything. Because when I was watching the youtube videos from two years ago and then I actually loaded it on. My computer started playing I was like wow. This looks great. I mean it looks really nice for for You know like like who said I sold developer. He's you're killing it man. You're doing really great. Yeah no problem grace when you were live streaming streaming game where you streaming on mixer. No I was on Youtube live so if you go on our youtube channel you can watch them. Okay I'll do that so I can see what it looks like now. If view yeah look at it see what it looks like now but if you can scroll to the very end you can actually see me get scared and then I broke it because I think I think Joseph you're laughing your ass off when I screamed. It was just hilarious when I saw you break it. Yeah Yeah today. I fixed the bug that you found and I've been basically going through a bunch of feedback and making little tweaks to it the biggest feedback. I've heard that it's it's a pretty slow start and so I've been trying to address that in different ways very cool. Yeah it's interesting Trying China strike a balance because some people when they play it they will. They'll get right to the action real quick like they'll just happen to find all the stuff you need and then some people will. They'll never really get their you know they. They won't find the things they need. Just just the happenstance so it's interesting trying to find. Like how much should I hold their. You know because the people that Just go through real quick. They probably find that annoying. Like if the Games constantly like trying to guide you along the way but then at the the same time if I don't hold their hand enough then people might get frustrated and I feel like the you know. It's not really going to go anywhere Well so maybe it's something as simple as two auctions like hold my hand like hold my hand and I got. Yeah Yeah Help me daddy or off your two options. Yes as thinking about maybe tying it to the difficulty level you choose like if you choose easy. Maybe it'll like give you way more hints items will glow in the dark. It'll be a lot easier to tell. Where do you need to go? Candles matches the last a little bit longer. Yeah already on the difficulty. The difficulty right now sets the brightness of. Yeah it's how the abundance of items how many monsters how fast they are the damage all that stuff so there's more than one monster no okay Cheese and I'm still do really not gonNA play it honestly like hijabs. If this last playthrough cheated a little bit I turn my brightness all the way up just like I wanNA sleep with coming. If it's going to jump Outta me. I got to see something so but yeah I'm I'm like one of those players like when you're playing a survival survival game. I want to pick up everything. So anything everything that I can pick up matches taking it candles taking kennels got it home what else I'm I'm the horror movies. Got The backpack with everything in it. You Know Kevin Hart allergic to cake. There's an achievement in the game. If you actually actually grab every item in the whole House I got that last night. Joseph I mean I'm excited to see the future of the Games that you're trying to develop an or that you are working on As far as in this game I wanna see I wanna see it through. Now that I've played it. What three times already I just? I've got to see it through absolutely I feel the same way I'm excited for your development on this game and I mean just keep listening to the gamers. I think that's what makes good developer overall if you listen to the crowd that's telling you. Hey I need more direction than give him that in a novice type of difficulty and and the people that don't want it you know the advanced gamers that don't want that then give him that and give him the intense and more monsters and stuff and I think if you keep listening and keep doing doing your work in work hard like you're doing everyone's GonNa love this game you know. The future is bright for you man. It's great except except for John. John you might need to make like a pony game that has rainbows and like candy and stuff like that. John Love that our Unicorn. That Shit's ice cream. I mean there might be some trademark things like really scary music and shit but then have like a baby iota. POPOUT kittens dislike picture. And you're like supposed to be scared of a jump scares me that it's still does. Its job and I won't play it but even if it's just like like interested to see what you guys think of other levels too. Yeah there's the the other seven levels and total time shows reaction seven layers of hell man. Yeah this is going to be by the seventh levels. It's going to be like in the corner in the cleanroom like I can't play your gave him anymore. I can't play. I can't play. Yeah I'M GONNA BE I'M GONNA be fucked up that man. You'RE GONNA mess mess with my mind. What's that and they're like? That's the oven. Get the house like. Oh sorry I'm scared jumpy. Yes so I made it to the with each level gets more and more intense so the first level is actually the least intense man. Lourdes play the game. I watched the preview. I felt like I've done Pohjola said when the ceiling started bouncing a and shit started falling from the ceiling. I'm out I'm done. I ran out of the house. I did the same exact thing. Same thing Joe. And that's where I got lost in that fucking manner and you know the directions already fucked period in daylight so in this direction and games on fucked. Yeah maybe in real life too but you know what you should do Christmas..

"You're listening to weekly podcast where we talk about everything and anything but mainly video. Oh Games I'm your host. Chris and today the full crew is here for our listeners. Today this is a very special episode where we will interview review our first Indie game developer from Eva's entertainment and the sole creator of the game. The Moore's Joseph Lloyd. Alright let's start the interview. Grove's presents an interview with I have a good friend of mine. He works with me His name is Joseph. Lloyd he is they sold developer for the game. The Moore's on the P.. You see it's out on steam right now for nineteen ninety nine is that correct Joseph. Okay and He is his company is entertainment amount. And so we're going to review the game. I and then I think we're GONNA do an interview on Joe after that so I start. Start out. I'll start with the Moors. Were my experiences with the game and kind of give my input for the. Moore's this game is is a horror. Would you call it like a horror survival type of game where you're trying to stay alive and kind of run for your life in a way is that is that correct. Joseph I call it like a survival horror survival horror. Okay yeah okay so while wiles playing this survival horror and it is in first person So playing this game. I'm not too big on Hor Games unless it's resident evil and demonic doc noses because we're huge resident evil fans until I ruined the game forum. That wasn't a horror game. Okay well it's an action horror type to me is scary but but with the with the Hor- game that I'm playing with the Moore's I I I'm easily scared so this was really tough for me to play my anxiety. Rose I believe Joseph did a great job shut up John. I'm not a pussy year pussy but yeah I don't play jump scare games. I don't play Games. I don't watch horror movies. Yeah 'cause I knew who I am. Yeah I like Shit anyways the Heat Joseph you you did a great job on scaring the Shit Outta me. 'cause it definitely added the scare factor. I mean first of all you start off in a manner this mansion. I I don't WanNa ruin the whole story for gamers out there that want to try this game on steam so with this this game you start off in first person you go to this manner and it is complete darkness and your scavenging around this manner looking for light light basically so you can see what the heck you're doing and you're trying to figure out how to get out of this manner because you're pretty much locked in there. Is that correct Joseph so so far. It's pretty much so so when I was playing this game it I mean you have to play this game wearing a headset. There's no other way you can't play it on mute. You have to have a headset because sound has everything in this game and Using those sounds and using using their surroundings around you. When you're in the darkness the sound does help you and it also helps the building suspense in this game so it definitely gave me goosebumps and like not not? The good goosebumps is more of like Holy Shit. I'm this is really freaking me out giving me the anxiety so I really enjoyed this game game for that aspect because it built the suspension and the textures in the game and the way the game looked it looks really good. You did a great job on making in this game. Look like a game that we'd play in today's Day and age. I mean it looks really nice for that It does does start a little slow there. It's kind of like a slow burn right now But once you kind of learn what you're doing in this game and you're looking for certain key items to progress through the game. It does add that extra element of excitement. Because you're like Ooh I get to see what's what's hunting me. What's chasing me So because you know that there's something in this manner you can hear shit moving around you. Can you really feel like something is in this manner with you. You don't know what it is yet so it is it is pretty Gives you that creepy. Feel but so far what what I've experienced inst- I've enjoyed the game thus far I can't wait to keep playing it and get to the next level and see what what awaits me into the next levels But so far I like what I'm seeing. I think there's a few things that can be added to this game. I think that This game could be It's got a lot of potential And Right now I'm I'm enjoying what I'm playing and I can't wait to get to that next level But it is one of those Hor survival games that for me personally. I can't play too long because then the rest of the night. I'm paranoid I get freaked out by any little satellite. What's that with? The fuck is that it's like you know I'm not even playing a game anymore but I really do so far. I'm enjoying the game. I think you've done an incredible job especially for a sole developer. You're you're the only one that built this game correct. You did all the coding and everything. Yeah Yeah did everything that's correct. Yeah so far. I think that that right there in itself is amazing for understanding. What what the game looks like in the all the stuff that I I went through I was like wow incredible job so far and I really do enjoy Joe? Do you have anything to add to this. It's about the Moore's yes holidays for stepping out. I did play it yes. I mean as for sold developer. It's really it's good. It looks good Everything plays well. I'll admit it like I was this close to rage creating But I mean the game with the the concept of they quit Christmas saying the sounds of thunder first thunderclaps scared the fuck Outta me. I mean even even random like the thunder and shit mechanic gets you on on edge a little bit That's really good the candle system. And how did the candles and how they actually show where the matches that you light in your hand true you know. Like the flame shows wearing down to your fingertip and a lot of things like that but yet I've I've only played it to where I played it once. I couldn't find anything so I stopped playing not I didn't quit. I just stopped playing and then the second time I played it. I actually actually found because Chris was telling me about the crowbar. The key I finally found the key and unlocked the door and then the fucking roof started shaken and in Iran I left I ran out down to the by the front door this so then I stopped playing and then I played again and then I found the key and then I found the room with all the tools in it not oils and then. That's that's where I've stopped right. I was playing it right before. The podcast is to kind of keep it fresh in my mind but but yeah. That's the the only the only thing that kind of troubles me was the fact that there was like no direction as far as me unions higher mentioned if I could open and searching every room and then if if it wasn't for Christmas like advice I wouldn't really know have to look for a key because I found a letter that said you know if you need access to the office you know Let me know or something like that or get the key so I was like okay I know I have to find a key and then there was something else. There was another letter on the wall. That was talking about Buying the swamp or that was a newspaper article and I found that and I was like okay so Scott do something with the swamp is paper. Article T. so so kind of reminds me it's kind of like that missed. Feel because I remember. I don't know if you guys have ever played. Yes yes it. It's it's like that but it's missed with a survival survival horror because in missed their. Nothing's ever chasing you. It was just like go here. Find a puzzle finding a piece go back over here. Solve the puzzle. Go somewhere else over here. Find another piece or back a lot of back and forth but this one I mean you know there was just a tiny bit of sense of direction as far as like yes. I found the letter that said I had had to find a key. Okay I knew they had to find a key but My recommendation to put something in would tell tell you to find tools or you know because every time you load into the game unless you unless I don't know they're safe points but you start over over Like yeah so like I'm starting. Every time I stop and I play again I get to play a little faster because I know where everything's at so take it's taken me like three playthrough so far to find everything but now Chris is saying that I'm at the point now where I go back to the room when I open the door. There's that girl's picture on the over the fireplace. That's where the instances so. Yeah it's it's Scott it's got damn chill does on the sound sounds really great. Now mazing sound it's freaky. It's really freaky because like I guess You hear like footsteps like on the second floor when you're on the first floor and you hear footsteps and you like you're constantly like turning around like what the fuck is this. If you had the opportunity I would highly recommend to see about getting this game. Put in Biard. Oh man that it would be intense. This game would be those youtube videos. Where the guy is like screaming like so tits or something like that you know that that game or that guy's is doing that dungeon scary game? He's running into all these scary things and shit. I think that would be really great. I mean it's great now with a sound playing it on the PC but it it does take quite quite a few turns to actually Kinda like get progress into the game but Kudos to you for what you've done so far just on your own yeah. It's a really good. It's I mean it's yeah I mean I I really do. Enjoy the the puzzle element about the game like once I once I knew I had it like Joe said you know that you have to get the key. You know that you have to get a crowbar or get certain certain tools that you need to to progress through the game Being able to see what's chasing you a little bit would help being able to see the the monster or something something of that because right. Now you're you're you're wandering around the Manor and everything is scary Gary and all the thunder like Joe Joe said dishonor scared me so many fucking times whereas I goddamn it Goddamn Joseph. Why the hell you scare me? Because I know it's you and I know you're laughing your head off in and you know when when I broke the game and I saw that Monsour for the first time it literally scared the shit out of me. I want to go back and find that where I was streaming because I legitimately was scared and I think Joe Joseph. You saw that. I was scared of that literally. Like you shit yourself literally literally. Yeah I had to change my underwear after that. No not for reals but it literally scared me literally not..
