Uh, you know, it starts up good. I'm on the road. Uh, I come to a stop. I'm getting, uh, Hiccup. But you know, and Uh, I'd put it in neutral and it it kind of idols decent. But once it's warmed up if I got by 10, Miles, I come back. I'm a new train. That's it starts hit. You know that little hiccup, But you know, uh and I still can't figure out what what's going on with this. I don't understand the hiccup when you stake off or when you come to a stop or What? Well, when I come to a stop, everyone's great. I mean, I'm on the road. No problem. When does it he cup? Get me confused his drinking. You've been drinking. No. When I come to a stop, you could see it just jerks. Yeah, and I got Whoa, What's going on? You know it's been going on. So you know, I went out. I changed that question. I realized Let me ask you some questions because I don't want to run out of time is Have you ever put it in neutral and come to a stop and see if it doesn't? Put together shift switching in the nutrient, but I want you to do because what I'm thinking and I think Lance will agree with. Maybe it takes a second to transmissions idling a little too fast and then when it warms up I'll drops down just going back into back into low gear. It's just a thought you have any on Sunday Sun? I'm thinking that you hit that on the nose, you know, so I just I think what I'd like for you to do Would you come into a stop? Destroying down. Just put it in neutral and come to stop and let's see if he cuts down if it if it doesn't then I think the engine is just possible. I just got the fuel injection. That's a throttle body fuel injection on that 3 50 engine and it may be idling too fast. The may have a sensor. This the check engine Light's not on is it? No, no, no Chicken, just like okay. And then if it doesn't do it, that means just the transmission going back into gear. They were clock and you just feel that clump he because it doesn't do it When you take off. It's when you come to a stop correct. Move up right And then I put it in neutral and it's it's readily not not, reverend, but then I still feel that put Even in neutral revenue. Just the key. You said the engines revving up when you put it in gear, That's what's happening. Okay, But still, uh So what do you think It's that can be adjusted that can be adjusted. Okay. What other cancers of Pockets. It could be a just because when it heats up, the idol probably goes down. You say it's okay after it warms up is that correct? Right. One side run that, you know, starts. Buying hate was good to go if I run in. Excuse me, Uh, you know 5, 10 Miles I come to a stop and the chicken, so I put it in neutral. And I get the same thing as all over the same thing. So you put it in neutral as you come to a stop. I'm talking about putting in neutral as you You know, you're 10 Miles an hour 15 miles an hour, Put it in neutral and then come to the stop and I want to see if it's doing it Then. If it doesn't do it, then it's just idling too fast. It's going back into gear. Okay. Got you Give it a drama friend. Okay. One last question real quick. Do you think that could be the island link control valve? Very possible. Yes, possible. Okay. All right. That sounds great. Sometimes it can clean and clean the carbon out of them. And again, you can be in the jar valve. Something's carbon up. Not working properly me several things, but just do what I'm telling you, And, uh, if it goes away, then I'll give me a hint on you know, probably just needs an adjustment. Well, okay, That sounds great. Thank you much, Mr for modern man. Really Appreciate it and not. Hey, God bless America. God bless America is right. Thank you for that. God bless America, America. Let me tell you how it started. Yeah, Everybody says that and I agree with you. I agree with you, but it does put a smile on people's face and that you know, I was in the restaurant. Other night, the valley in And somebody was said that he recognized my voice. And they said, Are you the motor? Bad? I said, Yeah. I just love your jokes. You don't so I can't both ways When I had the shop. There was a schoolteacher coming shop that would talk to fourth grade. And so and she says something happened and we told a joke, and she liked it. So every time these jokes come on like we did this morning, she would have her fourth grade class on Monday morning. Say, Did you listen to the motor made Social Now I've got all these kids listening to much show and they said, What's the best joke? Did you hear on the boat, a bad show and so everybody would laugh, and that's exactly how it got started. I'll cut it off, but it does put a smile on people's face even myself. You know what it does? It does. Corny, corny people said the man there there. I've never thought about doing jokes like that. I'm a jokester. But you're corny kind of guy. Yeah, corny guy, I guess. No, they hate their lighthearted I'm just teasing. But you know I did call. I did call a while ago about a question about how to have teamed my pilot license and I don't know that I Um, kind of expanded upon what I was trying to do. So I think I think all in all if you're able to scrape together, you know, around 10,000 bucks, you can You know, it's not that difficult thing to acquire like a private pilot's license. So what I'm interested in is a commercial pilot licence, so to be able to fly the big boys, I think it's like 1500 hours. And no. Well, let me ask you cold. Are you approximately not to give you exact day. This is a problem. But there's a shortage of pilots. No commercial pilots, but I'm 40 I'm 40 years old. Little late in the game late in the game, but not late in the game to fly for private jets is a lot more vandalize airport is a lot now I've got a lot of friends of mine that fly corporate You know, Guy owns the airplane..

"And her navigator disappeared over the Pacific Ocean while attempting to circumnavigate the globe. Erhard had already set a number of aviation records and broken barriers for women in flight. Still, it would be decades before female pilots became common in commercial aviation. Houston area woman was instrumental in changing that Lynn Ripple mire of Magnolia was the first woman to pilot a Boeing 7 47 and the first to captain of 7 47 Transatlantic flight. Back in the late 19 seventies, she worked as a pilot for a small commuter airline that had a rule that's kind of hard to imagine. Now that two female pilots could never be alone on a flight. You always had to have a male crew member That is until fate and some bad weather stepped in in 2019 ripple, Meyer told Houston matters Michael Haggerty the whole story, including how her aviation career didn't start in the cockpit, but in the main cabin, well as a flight attendant and is usually the most junior flight attendant. I ended up working where nobody else wanted to, which was taking care of the cockpit, bringing them their food and And drink during the flight. And it was beautiful up there. I loved being up in the cockpit. For the view. You get to see the world from five miles up. It's gorgeous. You know, the Coastlines in the cloud formations and sunrises and sunsets. So anyway, it was worth it being up there, and I'd ask questions about what was going on about the navigation and all the different instruments and Dials and switches to make conversation and they explained it, And it was fascinating to me. And then finally one and brought me a private pilot handbook to answer more the questions I could leave us alone for five minutes, right. Go read this kid. Um, so I was interested, and but there weren't any female pilots. So it wasn't something I was really aspiring to And then, um, just the universe handed to me. I guess I've met some people. Um That were instructors up in Vermont. They had a little piper cub on floats. So they I spent the summer taking flying lessons. So you say there weren't any female pilots really at that time. What did you think you might do with this knowledge or just Hey, I'm enjoying it. Just keep going. Yeah, that's all. It was just it was going to be a hobby and expensive one if I kept it up. Um, well, but because I just thought that was it. We took her to take the plane out of the water because the lake froze over. But then I met a gentleman on one of my flights that said, if I wanted to keep flying Miami had an airport during the winter on land and I could finish up my licenses down there, So I went down and checked it out. And I started using on my time off and Paychecks to get the rest of my licenses between my flights. And That was it between being a flight attendant that I thought that was about as good as it got, and I was I was happy with it. Tell me how you ended up then going here from from the flying at that level to then flying for airlines. Well, like I said, up Until that point, I didn't think it was even an option. So I wasn't pursuing it. But then I heard that American in Frontier had both hired women pilots. So I was able to get in touch with them and say, you know, really? Is this true? Because, uh, you know all the guys that I fly with? Tell me that's impossible. Women just don't have what it takes. You know, you're only five ft two. You don't have the strength of Mental capacity, the emotional ability, the psychological all the things that it takes to be a cool pilot. So are you really making it And they said, Yeah, that's No, You will definitely be able to be a pilot. And the main thing is the lifestyle and you're used to it as being a flight attendant, so just get the requirements. The requirements were a college education, which I had and a flight engineer written which I was able to take, but you needed 1000 hours of jet time. And 1500 hours, a total and I had no idea how could get jet time. Then if there weren't women pilots, you know, where are you going to? Well, the guy's got it out of the military and the military wasn't training women to fly jets. So it was just kind of wondering, and then yeah, it's wandering through the ST Louis airport. And on a 24 hour layover and my sister lived in Carbondale, which is just south from there, and there was a little kiosk that said Air Illinois Carbondale 15 minutes taking a flight, so the pilots were standing there at the counter, and I said, You know, can I hitch a ride down there? Because usually the airlines will give reciprocal agreements and let other employees right and I was in my uniform. He said. No, no, we can't They are owner doesn't let us do that. The only reason we can give somebody a free rides. If you're going in for an interview, Okay, I'll interview. We don't need any more flight attendants. And then the other guy says, Yeah, we just are always short on pilots. Okay, I'll interview as a pilot. I thought I was joking, but, um so no, really. I've got 700 hours given instruction and flight. They said, Well, it's more than we had when we got hired just even more qualified them at the time. Yeah, so they picked up my bags and went out to this airplane was twin audits. A 15 passenger turboprop fixed gear. Put me in the front seat so that I could put on headsets and we could talk for the flight down to carbon. They wanted to know about tw eight because they were interested in applying to be pilots where I was working. They wanted to move up to Caroline. You worked for. That's what it was all about. Yeah. And then in talking to them. I found out that that airplane was a turboprop, which meant it was a jet engine with a propeller on it and accounted for jet time. So that's how they were getting their jet time. So after we got the carbon was waiting for my sister. I asked to have an application so I could fill it out, too, so they wouldn't be in trouble for Let me come down for an interview. And ladies kind of said, You know, we don't really need any more flight attendants. I said, no, I'm applying to be a pilot. Really don't know. She goes in the back and brings out the owner of the airline and, uh, big, burly guy with a great flat top carrying a coffee mug with little red pigs on it, said M. C. P Male chauvinist pig. Wow. He was very proud of and just thought it was hilarious and let everybody in the terminal Nova's hilarious so I was embarrassed, but they visited my sister and they gave me a ticket to get back to ST Louis. I thought that was the end of it. And then about a month later, this lady at the counter Jennifer calls and says, uh, we need we've got a training class for you. Can you be here in two weeks? There's no way that guy wants women at his airlines said No, really. It's a class for you and another lady named Emily Jones. She's being trained as a captain, use the first officer. So let me know if you can be here. Yeah, I'll be there, you know, didn't ask about salary didn't ask about anything else. This was just amazing. And so we were in class with Emily was just the two of us. It was months later, before we found out we thought the reason we got hired was The owner wanted a government loan to get new airplanes and e E O..

I won't say the name and it's great. It's a very good product, but it's it's In my opinion, it's like a cap gun compatriot Cannon When you start taking nitric oxide, nitric oxide is just I find I tried both nitric oxide blows it away. And so nitric oxide is great for increased brain function and like, said romantic function. B complex. As we get older Alby vitamin levels drop, Why a we don't produce as much. It's produced by bacteria in your colon, so digestive system gets weaker. We're not producing as much and when absorbing as much. And so by taking a B complex, especially when you're stressed because when you stretch you use, uh Palladio B vitamins. And then adrenal support. The adrenal glands produce adrenaline. They act as an anti inflammatory. So many good things happen from the adrenal glands. So my protocol my personal protocol to keep me from getting burned out and exhausted all the time. Essential source. Super greens, Nitric oxide B complex and adrenal support. I can't imagine Not taking no supplements, minimum. For me personally, Now what we do in our office. We customize a plan for each one of our patients, and most of the plans consist of many products like this. They're very similar. So that's kind of like the base the core and then you might have a liver issue. You might have a hard issue, you might have a sympathetic parasympathetic issue. This is from the free thought project by the way, by Matt A gris. You ever wonder why cops yell, quit resisting as they beat a person who's not actually resisting or why they shoot people who pose no threat. Maybe the answer is right in front of us. Many folks who are given Authorization to use deadly force and authority to kidnap in cage. Citizens aren't the sharpest tools in the shed. One would think that giving someone so much authority should come with testing their intelligence for competence. However, one would be wrong and we'll talk more about this. In just a bit, But first we have Major pain calling from Michigan Major, You're on free talk line. Hey, guys, how you doing? What did you kill that Galland, the Vikings and then they just Scotland didn't have nobody to pick on. So they decided to go pick on Ireland because we're right across the canal there. So how did the did the drink, become named after her? Well, I I don't. I don't know. I don't know. I'm just putting too into it. I'm just putting two and two together. It's real name, and, um, Southern states is a Mitchell Lotte. From each Alana. Yeah. What is it? That managed donor So bloody Mary? It's tomato juice. Horseradish were Chester Shire. Everyone a prince that it's the worst Chester Shire switch here yesterday. Hillary Shire. Yeah. And then vodka. Lots of vodka and ice. Yes, yes, yes, like about a third vibrantly. And then it'll be garnished with like a stick of celery or a pickled asparagus, which we could divide canned tomato soup. We'd have a bloody Mary. With the best one I ever had was in a buyer on the side of holding lake and it had a dill pickle and a stick of celery. And they whacked it with a good head of the basketball, And I think they used V eight instead of major juice actually sounds kind of good. If you use tomato juice. You have to add the horseradish and the Western Sha're Thank you. You're welcome. Hey, thanks for the call tonight. Major pain. I can tell you one thing major pain. Captain and eyes. Alcohol consumption is about to go 500% after the show because it's his birthday. Hmm. I'm gonna need every drop. Uh, bloody Mary Berry of England, 15 16 to 15 58, queen of England and Ireland so called because of her execution of numerous Protestants. Syria's bloody Mary of the drink. Music. People tell me. I wonder if the people she killed mostly men. The cool, right? I mean, that's what the first thing that came to mind. I was like, Well, we need her own. Here. We can have bloody Marys Bloody Mary was invented in the 19 twenties or 19 thirties, invented the because it took him a decade to figure that drinking to figure out who made it Apparently. Their various theories as to the origin of the drink of its name. It has many variants. Most notably, the red snapper also called the Bloody Margaret The Virgin Mary, which is a bloody Mary with no booze. The Caesar. I don't remember what the difference is there and the Ah Mikola idea. Yeah, that was the one you said Yeah, but it's Mitchell Lotte. That's how I said. I think, but I actually like this totally different when you guys said the ingredients to a bloody Mary because of Mitch Alatas. Klim Chow claim not clam chowder but clam juice, tomato juice and a beer and, like tahini and lime. Totally different. All right. Well, let's circle back to you. How poorly trained cops are Because, well, you'll need a drink after you hear all of this. One would think giving someone so much authority should come of testing for intelligence incompetence, however, one would be wrong in an analysis conducted by T FTP in 2014. We found that hair stylists in nearly every state are required to have significantly more training than men and women who are given a badge and a gun and sent out into Our neighborhoods. Lower. Just a few examples. New York As one of the lowest requirements in order to become a licensed cosmetologist. However, it's still 30 36% more required training. In a cop bust undergo coming in at 1000 hours. That must be why women are prettier in the South. Need less training for cosmetology school appear. That's funny. Interesting. I didn't quite get that until you explained it. Thank you for is that girl Splaining? How his girl Splaining woman splaining, this woman splaining to you. Thank you not speaking of the South North Carolina police. That's where I'm from. Well, maybe you should read this thing. North Carolina police most complete North Carolina place must complete the basic law enforcement training curriculum, which consists of a mere 620 hours late. Goodness, I need you to do some places I'm down, Let's do it. The average North Carolina hair stylist is required to complete 2.4 times more training at 1500 hours, and they will never be tasked with serving a no knock warrant or shaking down potential drug dealers. But I know now I was literally right. Like I seriously got to the bottom of it. Southern women are more pretty. It's like you're psychic. I'm psychic psychic. Bonnie. I said all the time. Psycho psychic, whatever it's like Excite kick. Ooh, I like that. Mm. In Chicago, Illinois. The boys in blue have one of the highest requirements for hours completed to become a cop, and it comes in at $1000. "Useless fun facts that you're gonna use someday. So I shouldn't say useless. They're just obscure. So you know, I was talking about brain function. If you listen to the show before I'm huge in making sure the brain is working properly with your transmitters would function with input output is a brain sending messages from from the brain down the spine out to the body back up. The brain controls everything. But a lot of times patients come to me. In fact, multiple times a day. Come to us. We have, you know, four offices in multiple doctors, and they say, Dr Joe, I just got brain. Fuck. I just can't focus so You feel like you just can't focus at work? Real simple thing you can do. We talked a while ago, but cross crawl, but you can pop in a piece of gum. 2012 study, published in the general Nutrition nor Science found that when chewing gum people became more alert, that's because the brain associates chewing with nutrients and food and a kind of primes itself to be at its maximum level of alertness. Anytime there's mouth movement. If you're gonna chew gum, I strongly advise you do not you artificial sweetener gun. Because of the seven deadly sins. If you new to the show, I've narrowed down the worst food you can eat into seven, and it's alcohol, meat, sugar, dairy, coffee, soda and artificial sweetener. So again, we called the seven deadly sins. And, of course, that's become other trademark. I go places a. Dr Joe's evidently said that so now you know the seven deadly sins if you need to the show. Alcohol, meat, sugar, Dairy coffee, So Navarre and artificial sweetener of the seven deadly sins the worst one. My opinion by far is artificial sweeteners. Aspartame sucralose saccharine. I really want you to stay away from those artificial sweeteners. So most gums don't even have sugar in them. They have artificial sweetener. I think I've only found one or two guns out there that actually actually have sugar, which is bad. But not as bad as artificial sweetener. But the good news is there are guns out there now being sweetened with stevia. You refer tall zyla tall and so you want to look for a gun that sweetened with a natural sweetener but doesn't have the calories in it. So you can always look for one of those, and those guys do is pop it in your mouth and chew it for a while and what that does it stimulates. The brain to expect food and nutrients. But it also activates the pumping of the cranial bones. In fact, I had somebody text me today. They had somebody in a car accident in your skull got wrapped. And so the skull bones can move out of place. And I studied with Bertrand Dijon, a doctor D. Johnny, who's the founder? Well, one of the founders of cranial manipulation. He's long gone. I was a student when he was in his eighties. But you can actually move skull bones and many times that helps with brain function as well. But when you're chewing your kind of pumping that pump that brain mechanism, that cranial mechanism, and sometimes that kind of loosens the brain up a little bit, too. Here's the secret deal with with chewing, make sure you chew on both sides of your mouth. You on one side, then the other that one side, then the other because if you two on one side too much It's putting too much neurological input into one side of the brain, and you kind of ignoring the other side of the brain. The brain is designed to be integrated, not segregated. If you do everything, one side, your body or just two on one side, you're segregating the brain, not the best thing for brain function. Just gotta go to break. I got some callers coming in. If you have any health care questions, 84444 Dr Joe A 4444 d. R. J oe our website over a 1500 hours of podcast Dr joe dot com. I believe one of the shows we do is now the number one health show in the country on radio. S so we're pretty good at it. I've been on Dr Oz show. He's been on my show been in practice 36 years, so we deal a lot with pain Patients neck pain, back pain, shoulder pain, digestive issues. Nutrition issue's. We have a medical division as well. We have a medical doctor on staff and nurses, eh? So we can do injections. We could do trigger point injections. We could do spinal injections. We can do prp exes. OEMs ex zones are The active part of stem cells, and they can help regenerate parts of the body in some cases, so that's kind of cool. You could do for hair replacement reptile dysfunction women at urinary leakage when they call for sneeze If they've lost some of their desire, the stem cells and things like PR nuts themselves, prp and exits, Holmes could actually start to regrow. Parts of the body. And it really is the new trained by the way for gentlemen, especially with erectile dysfunction. There's a lot of treatments out there that are very expensive. The PRP is your own cells. We take yourself we take your blood Take take out this stem cells, not stem cells. The Ah platelets out your blood and we put him back in the body and that stimulates circulation and growth. So that's really the trend now for erectile dysfunction because we're seeing all the side effects of medicine and I'm not against medicine. If you have to take it, take it, But this is a more natural way of doing it. And it's really popular. It's less expensive than most other treatment, so If you want information, all the services we have. It's on the website Dr joe dot com. There's a little tab up top. It says services. With a new Hollywood by the way, too, we will. I think we do more movies now than Hollywood. So it's cool place to be, But we want to be a doctor's The website Dr Joe dot com Tons of information, eh? So we're talking about issues with anxiety and depression. Things like light dressings that low and low in fat, But they're high in sugar. You got to be careful that catch up 42% sugar. Coffee. We want to get a little bit of pleasure in our lives so we might turn to alcohol or sugars or coffee or drugs. Gambling many times. Those were all signs of depression. So we want to get ourselves out of that, and we do that by eating the right foods and so again. Energy drinks, alcohol frosting. There's so many things I want you to stay away from because they're loaded with sugar. So what can you eat? Well, the best things to eat is getting his nutrient foods that are high nutrients gonna feed your brain. So when I have anxiety and depression patients, I started out with something called Dr Joe Super Greens and Dr Joe's essential source. The two powders. They taste great. It's the minimum supplements. You should be taking every day anxiety, the pressure. Whatever your condition, this, I believe is the supplements that everybody should be taking every day. Now, if you're on blood thinners, there's a little explanation on how to do it on our website. But other nap there's nobody. If you're eating solid foods, you can do super brains and essential source. It's a complete multivitamin, probiotics, probiotics, digestive enzymes. I find that first step Was amazing for patients all across the board. But when I have anxiety, depression, we see really good results with that. Then I had a dream of support because you're anxious and depressed. You're burning out What's called your dream glands. Adrenal glands produce energy so many times you're tired if you're anxious and depressed..

"And you need blood flow to get to the body for men and women in order for things to work properly. So if you're drinking out the hole or coffee or whatever it is, that's a diuretic makes you pee Lowers your blood volume. Lowers your blood flow. And so that's not a good thing, either. So if you're going to drink Ah lot of adverse side effects occur, Plus it's liver damage. Long term. Of course, things like this, um, sell fights and the things they're carcinogenic and alcohol and Esso again of we've done whole shows on alcohol. You go to our website, Dr Joe. Dr joe dot com. The r J o e dot com and just type in the word alcohol hit, Enter and you'll see. We've got a show with on many shows on alcohol. We did a whole two hour show one time on alcohol and how dangerous it is so When it comes to romance, alcohol may not be the drink of choice. In fact, it's probably the worst thing you could drink. When it comes to romance. You might move in a positive direction in some areas, but certainly a negative direction in the other. So alcohol, not a good choice. Better choice would be water. Why water gives you more blood volume. Blood volume helps blood flow back and forth. So now we're gonna sit down. We have a glass of wine we order and maybe we're gonna have something like oysters. Okay, Oysters are very acidic. Oysters are high in mercury and lead their very toxic even Moses. When Moses wrote Leviticus thousands of years ago, he said, don't eat oysters or bottom dwellers. Esso oysters, not a good choice behind zinc. Now think is good for the prostate. But that's probably only benefit. You're going to get out of oysters. There's so many negative effects of oysters that any positive effects are gonna be far outweighed so Folks gotta go to break if you have any health care questions lines are open. "To get through the glycogen stores to get to the facts. So it's a little tricky, sometimes to lose weight, but as you're starting to crash Sometimes that can cause pain. Now Your diet, of course, is going to be a big trigger when it comes to pain. If you're eating inflammatory foods, and again we go back to the seven deadly sins. Alcohol, meat, sugar, dairy coffee, So in artificial sweetener If you're eating these foods, not only they bad for you, but they cause inflammation. And inflammation occurs. It can put pressure on a nerve. So if you have a pinched nerve, and then you eat something inflammatory. It puts more pressure on that pinched nerve, and it could hurt now Here's the thing. 90% of your nerves don't feel pain. You say that again. 90% of your nerves don't feel pain, so you could have a pinched nerve and not know it. So my office we're trained to not only check the nerves that feel pain. We also checked the nerves that don't feel pain. What if I have a pinched nerve going to my pancreas, My spleen, my kidneys. If you don't feel it work, you don't feel not work. So those organs could be affected by pinched nerves. And in many cases, kidney failure. Patients are liver issue patients. We co manage the case with their doctors to open up the nerve supply to the organs. Then we get him on a good diet and then many times other medicines at the using ordinary medicine that they're doing works more effectively. So it's kind of nice. We will work together as a team to try to get you well. So die. It's a big player when it comes to pain. I said earlier if I drink any caffeine whatsoever, chocolate bam! I got a headache the next day. Can't do it, Ma. So you flew to mate? My son glutamate triggers my pain is well one of my favorite Thai restaurants. I go to Remember every now and then I'd go there. It would taste like fish sauce, and they know me. OK, Dr Joe's here and I'll say, Listen, no fish sauce, right? No, no, no fish sauce, I promise and I can taste the fish sauce in the food. Like this taste like for no, No, no Fish sauce. 100% of the time when I eat there and it tastes sometimes it doesn't so I don't know what the chefs are doing. But if it tastes like fish sauce, I'm gonna get a headache the next day. If it doesn't taste like fish sauce. I don't get a headache the next day. And so monosodium glutamate fish sauce has a machine it as one of problems, folks. You have any questions? We only have two more segments of the show. So give us a call here at the studio. 84444. And so I'm good there. I can eat there. And I know I'm not gonna get headache. I'm gonna start making some calls here again at 84444. Dr. Joe Gibbs called You have any questions? 84444? Dr. Joe Derek. How could make your day better? Have a couple of friends who swear by fasting. They fast maybe one day out of every must, huh? What do you think about that? I don't think that would be unhealthy for your body to shut down. But as they say, you're the doctor. That's right. Well, Derek actually fasting Great. And I like fasting. Now everybody should fast At least every day. You say once a month what? Yes, but here's how you want. Want you to do it? I want you to fast at least 12 hours a day. Say 12 hours a day. If you have dinner at five o'clock at night. Don't eat breakfast again till five o'clock in the morning. So one of the big thing. Big issues I find with people is they never give their digestive system a break. Romance is the number one consumer of energy digestion is Number two. You know what can I put you on hold Eric and get you after the break. All those folks you have any questions? 84444, Dr Joe our website Dr joe dot com Over 1500 hours of podcasts. "But the website Dr Joe dot com is over 1500 hours of podcasts, their audio and video, So few visual learner, you could see the videos of the Audio's I want to cover obesity because I get this question all the time. A lot of people ask that question. Of course, New Year comes around, people say, Dr Joe, I'm gonna lose weight. This is my year, baby. I'm going to start can healthy and I'm going to get skinny. Well, whenever you have an issue when it comes to health care, I always say what you're motivating factor. Why do you want to get better? And I teach my doctors this to to ask the patients? Why do you want to get better? And it sounds like a silly question. But maybe your goal is you want to work out. Maybe your goal is you want live longer. Maybe your goal is you want to play your grandkids? Maybe your goal is you want me to go on vacation? Go gardening. Whatever Your goal is, That's what I want you to keep in mind as to why you're doing things. So when you think about Okay, why do I want to lose weight? Well, there's a lot of different reasons, and one of the things I try to instill in my patients is the things you're doing now are going to have an adverse effect on you later on, if they're negative things. So you eventually have toe you have to pay for your sins. And you think? Well, you know, it's no big deal. Right now. I'm overweight. I'm smoker. I drink. It's it's no big deal really isn't affecting my life. But eventually you're gonna have that happen. And it's consistent data linking obesity in middle age. The higher risk of dementia later in life if you've ever dealt with somebody with dementia. It is so heartbreaking. They don't know who you are. They don't know who they are. They don't know where they are. And I've had patients over the years come in, and we'll do some amazing work with them. And they'll get results through chiropractic in nutrition and through medical treatments, and they won't even remember. Do you remember? You came here last week? No, I don't know who you are. I've never been here before. And it just breaks your heart. So if you're overweight, middle age, overweight individuals have about a third higher risk. And those who are obese in middle age have about 90% greater risk of becoming demented. So it's really high up there, and the risk isn't just limited to future dysfunction. People with excessive body weight don't appear to think clearly at any age. Now, Beast individual show brought impairment. Both called executive functions of the brain, such as working memory decision making, planning, cognitive flexibility, verbal fluency, These players critical a critical role in everyday life. So as you waste, expand your brain tricks, and that's the problem. So just losing weight. Improve your cognitive function. Cognitive issues your thought. Process. Your what? You're aware of what you're thinking, Not necessary. Heartbeat, you lungs breathing your toenails growing. But cognitive function is what you're thinking about based on a med analysis of 20 studies, so they looked at 20 different studies and the basic of results of it was mental performance across a variety of domains could be significantly improved with even modest weight loss. So overweight people also have trouble conceiving. So if people trying to make babies that becomes a big issue, men may suffer impaired fertility they have your man is the greater the risk of having low sperm count and being completely sterile. This may be part do it in part due to excess fat that effects testosterone levels because fat and ice be fat. So I can say the f word when you're fat fat becomes a living, breathing organ, and it produces estrogen. Estrogen essentially counteracts testosterone. So the more fat you have the more estrogen producing, But here's the thing. Estrogen causes you to lay down fat, which then produces more estrogen, which caused you to lay down fat. So if you're overweight, it's a challenge. Estrogen, Of course, the growth hormone a lot of diseases. Lot of cancers, especially are stimulated by excess estrogen. So what do we do about it is the big question. And then I get this question all time number one go.

I couldn't listen. The whole show how to get out of my car. Had every show we do is on our website. Dr Joe dot com were also on all the podcast service is one of you could look up for the health of it. Which is the name of our podcast. Some podcast. Don't use that one. So just look up Dr Joe Esposito. But the website over 1500 hours of podcast, including this show. I'm gonna talk about covert 19 and what it's doing to your heart even after you recover, But let's take this call from Jim first, Jim. How could make your day better? Yes, sir. Good to talk to you. Listen, Nation many times. I really appreciate your in the, um I've had a issue with Acid reflux for several years, then went in. They have an endoscope of years ago, and they Diagnose me at the time with the high it'll hernia. I'm wondering how that will affect moving that stomach back down, or my just Is it going to just come right back up again and create a problem and The second thing is, uh, how do I differentiate that problem with say, like the gall bladder If I'm having a calculator issues with differentiating that from the acid reflux? That's a great question, because a lot of times people will have gall bladder removed and it wasn't called Batter. It was acid reflux, causing the problem. So that's something that I see it. Ah, lot, actually. S so anyway with the high it'll hurt you. That's what we're talking about the stomach pushing up into the diaphragm. If it's bad enough, it's called a fatal hernia. Sometimes it's just a little pushing up against it again. I can't say I can cure everything. I'm sorry, not a gastroenterologist. Those guys are brilliant. But in many cases the problem's physical, not chemical. So what? Hi. It'll hurt he is we treat them all day every day again. I'm not saying we're gonna cure it. But most cases we do and, um So we've got to figure out what it is so we can do some testing to see if it's called ladder of the stomach. I always say if the gold butters diseased, you probably need to have it removed again. I'm not a surgeon, but that's what I understand from my surgeon Friends. If the gall bladder isn't disease, and you're having symptoms, let's go Conservative first. Let's try dietary changes like Try supplementation. Let's try pulling the stomach. Let's try chiropractic care to open up the nerve supply. If it doesn't work, you could always have your gold body removed. But once it's out, it's out. I always tell people if you've had your gall bladder removed. If it were me, I would be taking a supplement called Cola Call Kogler Goals. Actually, Ox bile because you're not producing human bio anymore. You want to take ox bile Now It's not on our website, but we have it in our offices. So, um, so that's why we try to do many times. We fix it, even though they were told it was a ball bladder issue. It's not. It's a stomach issue because they're right next to each other, real close. And its symptoms many times or similar. So with hiring hernia that were really good at working on those, and that's what we're talking about that whole show so What else? And I had one other question it involving shame to get some relief when I take the apple cider vinegar and maybe then eat an apple afterward, and it seems Tomo quiet. Everything down Quite a bit. Apple side of England is that overall organic apple cider vinegar and stimulate your digestive enzymes. And so you're breaking down the food more efficiently. So that's why raw organic apple cider vinegar works. Dr Joe's Digestive enzymes. That's a supplement I take helps with digestion as well. And that seems to help. Really, really well. Acid reflux to s. Oh, that's why what you're doing is great. Keep doing it. Absolutely. But you also probably want to get that fixed. If you want to come see us, and we can test it. If it's not, we can help will tell you. We think we can help you. If we can't. We'll tell you. We think we can help you. Either way, you're gonna get an honest opinion from myself. Paul Appreciate it. Thanks, Tiffany. And so thanks to tune in gym, I appreciate it. And folks, if you only questions like Jim and everyone else ate 4444, Dr Joe eat 4444 d r. J. Joey, hopefully, get down here. See, that's got to be sitting here. We gotta keep him busy. I do want to talk about this. Garrett, my producer, and I were talking about this earlier What Covert 19 is doing to the heart even after patients recover, says a growing number of studies that suggest covert 19 survivors experienced some type of heart damage, even if they don't have underlying heart disease or condition. And aren't sick enough to be hospitalized. The latest twist has health care experts worried about the potential increase of heart failure. Very early on a pendant pandemic, it was clear that many patients who are hospitalized was showing evidence of cardiac injury. More recently, there's recognition that some of those covert 19 patients not hospitalized, are now experiencing cardiac injury. So this raises concerns that there may be individuals who get through the initial infection, but I left with cardiovascular damage and complications. Once again. I'm not saying I have a cure for Covad. But folks, please, I'm on my knees begging you take care of your immune system. Go to our website, Dr joe dot com Typing immunity, listened to the show we did on immunity..

In the website Dr Joe dot com is just an amazing rat reference because we have gosh. 1500 hours of podcast. Maybe there so you don't want to miss that as well. We got a lot of good information there. So come join our family doctor joe dot com eyes that website so heartburn and acid and digestive issues many times you'll have other digestive issues. Because the food in the stomach passes into the small intestine partially digested it gets in the small intestine. It essentially rots and when it rock to cause an inflammatory reaction and inflammatory reaction would irritate the lining of your colon. Many places in your colon the colon is only one cell thick. So you tear that little bit You causing inflammatory reaction. You could get leakage of fecal matter bacteria and digested food into the blood system. It's called leaky Gut syndrome. And I did a seminar last week I was in, attended a seminar and we talk about brain injuries. And traumatic brain injuries and it always seems to be leaking got involved. And you got to fix the leaky gut. If you're gonna fix the brain injuries so many times and patients come in with the headaches, neck pain, blurred vision of dizziness. Post concussion. Car accidents is almost always brain injury in car accident because the seat belt hold your body but not hold your head. Your head snaps back and forth the skull slip of the brain slams into the skull inside your brain inside your body and that causes a traumatic brain injury. You got to fix the leaky gut. Because traumatic brain injury effects the vagus nerve, the vagus nerve goes to the brain to the gut. It's a lot of neurology there. But if you have the acid reflux heartburn, chronic Sinus problems, allergies, chances are it's a leaky gut syndrome. And fixing that is really important. But you got to fix the stomach in order for the food to go into the small intestine, not causing inflammatory reaction. If you're having these problems, folks just come see us. 84444. Dr Joe is the number here to.

"About addiction could be about anything. Tina will make your day better. Yes, Dr. Joe. I'm calling because I have a beer addiction has been my whole life And But the thing is, I'm really, really trying and have tried to stop. But when I try to stop, I can't use the bathroom. And it does just the opposite of which you would think my stomach is really, really bloated Face gets bloated, and it's just really, really hard. Okay? Sounds like you have a yeast infection. Okay, because with being here has sugar and yeast in it, And so the yeast is kind. And I've got a weird weird rash under my blessed Mary. I've never had that before. Look how smart Tina Yes, you are. And so handsome. Oh, you're so smart. I love you now, Ma. He's really handsome. May I don't know, but I love radio for that reason. Um nice You got me all blush now Mods, even blushing And you got a little you even giggling and I've never seen him giggle before, anyway. Yes, probably yeast infection when you start to see the skin rashes and you craving two sugars and especially beer. Because it has yeast in it. So let's do the test. I talked about earlier. Let's get a clear glass of water. Put it next to bed. You're tuned in when I said that You know, I was gonna clear. Got glass of water. Put it next to bed. Tonight. Could be glass jars. Anything clear? Filling with water tomorrow morning. When you wake up, I want you big mouthful of spit. Scrape your tongue with your teeth. Get a big mouthful Spit spit into the glass. You can wait an hour to an hour. And if you start to see little tentacles coming down like a jellyfish, chances are you have a yeast infection that we could dig deeper. This is just like a preliminary scan, And if you have a yeast infection, we're going to have to sit down and work on that because Yeast infections can get into every cell in the body. Almost and that's really, really a serious thing You don't want to jerk around with that. Could you put cream on rashes, but that yeast infections on the inside? It's not going away. So do that test. If it does come back positive, call the number. You just called join a week. We'll get you set up. I can, either me or one of my staff will discuss going East protocol and you've got to deal with that because that's not something you want to play with. Okay. All right. Thank you so much. I appreciate it. All right, folks ate 4444. Dr. Joe. What? See if we can sneak Kyle and real quick, I'll happily make your day better. Hi, Dr. Joe. How are you? I couldn't be happier. You know, I have a question. I have got a little bit of research after I had what I believe is an episode of doubt on my I've never had it before and headed on my large toe. Heard it occurred at night. Sounds like, um, you know, just in the joint light. I haven't seen it anywhere else. Um, it has taken. I've had it about a week now, and it's taken about that long to grow a way. Of course, there's a lot of bruising in the area. But my question is, I think I'm detecting it. And and maybe a couple of my finger joints. Okay? Yeah, I'm up against clocks. Let me ask you a question. You gotta cut out all your animal proteins meat, butter, cheese, yogurt, eggs, ice cream, but you got to cut out fructose sugar. Because fructose when it gets into your liver has to be converted into glucose. And when fructose converts into glucose, which could be used by the body, it creates uric acid. So the big thing without his people tell you cut out the meat and dairy products, but they don't tell you cut out. The fructose fructose converts into uric acid. Uric acid prevents nitric oxide production, which allows blood to flow into an area and flush out the uric acid crystals. So so supplement why super greens and essential source nitric oxide and adrenal support for inflammation. But you've got to cut out that sugar that's bread's cookies, cakes, doughnuts, pastas. You just got to cut out that sugar And that's more important and Puri are making sure you get rid of that animals, probably probably just his bad you've got to give up both. And that's why so many people don't get results when they give up just appearing in the meat proteins because they still do it, Sugar. And so that's one of the many, many reasons you want to get sugar out of your diet. So if you got to do it, I mean the only way you going to deal now we could give you drugs for it. But the drugs can affect the liver. So just give up the sugar in the animal proteins and chances are you'd do well to go to a website Dr joe dot com Type in. So what can I eat in the search engine hit enter, And we have a whole hour of breakfast, lunch, dinner snacks and we cover really in depth as to what to eat. So I would suggest we do that. Give it a couple of weeks. Call me back. Let me know how it works, okay? Thank you for having questions. A 4444 Dr Joel website Dr Joe dot com Over 1500 hours of podcast their search. What you looking for a lot of times instead of sending me a question You could just search it and it comes up. I'm more than happy to answer any questions You have.
