Rumblings Among Democrats That They're Screwed for 2022 Midterm Elections

"There's some rumblings up on Capitol Hill amongst the Democrats, who are starting to freak out. The rumblings are that they are about to get destroyed in 2022 in the midterms. I mean, lose every string swing district lose pretty much every Senate seat that's competitive, maybe even lose semi competitive Senate seats, and the route could filter down to the Virginia governor's race and elsewhere. Where racist what they thought were solidly democratic that are off your elections. They're not Virginia and New Jersey have off year elections, but they're hearing up on Capitol Hill and this should make you smile. Little bit. No, no, no reason to get complacent. We gotta double down now. But I'm hearing that up on Capitol Hill. The Democrats are in meltdown panic right now because they feel like this could be such a brutal drubbing that it will cascade for years. The damage about to be done to them in the midterms. It's for a lot of reasons. It's not just their peer fear. Porn panic panic Campaign for coronavirus. It's their relentless pursuit of racism with CRT CRT trying to teach your kids to be raised. Just it's it's their open borders crusade infected people piling across the southern border 900% increase over 14 months, no rules whatsoever, spreading them out all over the place. Illegal immigrants all over the United States. It's the crime wave happening in liberal cities. The Democrats are about to get destroyed. They know it. So reason number one. They're turning up the fear porn campaign again to make you scared. Absent any significant data to show you you should be scared they're making it up is because they need to fear porn. Cheat in 2022. Yep, I said it. That's right. They scare you guys in the studio. Okay, there. You ready for that? That's right. Did they want to cheat in 2022? How do they cheat energy the same way they cheat all the time.

Warriors Reject Sixers’ Steep Asking Price for Ben Simmons

"Sixers are asking the Warriors per keep pumping, who covers the sixties for The Philadelphia Inquirer for Andrew Wiggins, James Wiseman, the seventh pick in tonight's draft, the 14th pick in tonight's draft. And to future first round picks. So four first round picks. Wiggins and Wiseman. Basically That's six first round picks if you think about it. 7 14 to future. Wiggins was an early first round pick, and James Wiseman was just the second pick in the draft. So if you want to say, because Wiggins played in the league for a little bit hit, and he's kind of been underwhelming. Wise, but at least they're still has that potential. Even after his first season, it's basically Wiggins And five first round picks for Ben Simmons. If I'm the Golden State warriors. I'm glad they said no. And I don't think that price is going to be met for Ben Simmons.

"My handwriting entire page in his deposition simpson was questioned about a page of handwritten notes found in the case. File six hundred eighty nine nineteen hundred dollars at his residence on twenty ninth street in canton greg ill. According to the notes. Detectives got a tip from a man named greg cox in which cox allegedly told detectives another man named dilly. Baker was at a bar with cox and told cox about a murder of a woman in which a dude quote cut her from ear to ear and had her head smashed in with a tv cox allegedly told samson that he feels. Billy didn't murder yvonne. But that billy knows who did samson noted that cox was drinking to excess and when they spoke with him he expressed himself very explicitly. Now what did you do We got a boy hitting remember him. We got his name. I don't know how we got his name. But we went over or mclaughlin. I went over canton to interview this guy. I think it was bucknell. Been leach him when over talking to this guy and this is what we got out of it that you believe he did. Talk to greg cognitive. And he's wanna gave us well evidently from this interview. This is what he gave us. When sue was doing her own investigation she also found this document and track down. Greg cox cox told her he had no involvement in the investigation in any way. He said he never contacted detectives and did not give any information concerning billy baker to them he said muklewicz samson never came to his house to speak to him or any person about the death of yvonne lane. In fact he swore to all this in an affidavit in which he wrote quote any statement given by any person saying i gave. Such information is absolutely untrue. End quote and the clincher. Cock said at this time in nineteen ninety nine he had been sober for eight years and quote any statement given by any person saying i was intoxicated during this time is absolutely untrue. This information is defamatory and directly opposed to the work. I was doing with the organizations. I was involved with and quote meaning the alcoholic recovery programs. He was part of soap. I decided to call greg cox. I read your affidavit. And i just wanted to. You know confirm with you that what you said in that is true and that you never spoke to the police about billy baker. And i'm wondering this is also freak and weird gave language. But it's just so bizarre. How do you think your name came up in this go right. Did you ever have any involvement with the police would be. There'd be a reason why they you know tried to say you said this. Did you.

Flipping the Script: A Look Into the Detectives Behind Yvonne Layne's Case

"That we've heard firsthand from an expert about the type of person she believes could have killed yvonne lane someone angry. Who knew von personally and had a reason to attack her with a vengeance and we've heard how botched the crime scene was how the scene didn't match what joe said. I think it's important to take a close look at who exactly detectives were on the case and turn the tables instead of putting the victims under the microscope. I wanna put the cops under it and look at their records and try to figure out why this case was such a mess. I've already talked about a couple of alliance. Police officers like quinton artists. A patrolman who you on allegedly said had started harassing her after a traffic stop. Artists is now a registered sex offender. Then they're officer rick. Who's last name. I'm keeping private for now. Who detectives told the psychic was rumored to be dating. You're on and possibly the father of her youngest child. But now i wanna focus on the four detectives assigned to the case as you may know already. If you've been digging through case files on patriotic. They were detectives. Lloyd bud samson william muko mark walsh and john leech and i want to start with john leech on april first nineteen ninety nine detective. Leach was not on duty yet. He was called in to help. Here's detective samson in his two thousand eight deposition. you've heard clips from before to assist us. Exactly his day off when he got called in. That was true that he was called off vacation to help us this case. And we've called in whether or not was vacation a lot. I don't recall that but yeah he was called in. Did you make the decision. That would be an order now. I do not but somebody did. And so each mccall on the day off part time off and helped samson says. There was no quote lead detective on the case. But according to samson he and bill mucciolo did most of the investigative work leach was mostly on the case to assist like mark welsh. In fact. i won't go into mark welsh much because he wasn't a big part of the case at all.

If i mispronouncing any of our authors names. This was a really good read Describing group work and how to organize a group work setting that everybody finds fair and equitable And i think pretty much all of us who are involved in designing any kind of instruction have had some moment where we've had to organize group work and gets get some kind of pushback from people saying you know. Why are we doing this so this is a really good article. I think in terms of just laying out the the wise and the winds in the house for group work number two our number two Trend is slightly different than normal. Normally we would say that one of our big trends over the past. Few years has been digital security and citizenship. This time around it was all digital security. Thousands Protest Lockdown in Sydney Amid COVID-19 Surge

"People have been arrested in Sydney as thousands of anti lockdown protesters breached Covid 19 restrictions in the center of Australia's biggest city. Demonstrations have also taken place in Melbourne and Brisbane. 14 million Australians are under strict stay at home orders as the authorities struggle to contain a surge in Delta variant. In fact, Our correspondent in Sydney, Phil Mercer told me more about the protests. The New South Wales police minister is a man called David Elliott. And he says that there were 3.5 1000 very selfish. Boof heads on the streets of Sydney today, buff head is an Australian colloquialism. Meaning idiots, and I'm sure that there will be many millions of Australians in lockdown who will agree with those sentiments? Clearly, there is frustration in the community. There is anger. There is uncertainty. There is on fear as well concerned about the slow rates of vaccinations in this country, but most Australians are pretty compliance. Trying to do the right things. So the authorities very concerns about these events in Sydney today and in Melbourne and Brisbane Health officials saying that these large protests in those three Australian cities will put lives at risk.

Mindful Leadership: What Makes A Mindful Leader With Michelle Maldonado

"What makes them mindful leader. What what was what was it. You're doing so. I didn't go into as much detail with him as i will here because i think that there are there are qualities and we have lots of beautiful people. Like yourself in genesis. Toronto and i mean there's just so many people who speak on this and and do beautiful justice to it when i think about it. You know the first thing. I explained to him as you know how we show up matters and how we respond and treat other people matter and it can't just be focusing on the human doing part because we cannot even though we think we try to tell ourselves we can multitask. We can compartmentalize. We bring all of ourselves to whatever we are doing and that all of ourselves means are traumas are bias sees our our life experiences are joys are passionately. Bring all of it with us and we. We spend a lot of energy trying to manage containing parts of ourselves in these spaces. But i would always give permission for my team to be whoever they were and to feel that it was. They were safe if they made a mistake right. So there's a lot of conversations around psychological safety an Really holding people accountable but not in judgmental ways in conversations. A lotta people say hey you know. How do you have difficult conversations. And the first thing. I say i don't label it. As difficult conversations for sation because words matter and it starts to create a mindset as you enter into the dialogue and so as a mindful leader. You your best supporting yourself and others when you bring those elements into it and then you're also really aware and the way i think about awareness. I call like a mindful awareness. May think about it in context because everything happens in context whether you're sitting on the pillow or you're at a table at the office or on zoom room like we are today. Everything is happening in context in. So i describe it like three concentric circles with ourselves being right in the center the next one being others the third being the surrounding and all of that creating our ecosystems so that wearing awareness that we have has to travel through all those

I used almost all the color ink in my printer to put this picture up and the It is of the happy warriors of the democratic senate in texas leaving the states so that no laws can be passed because you need quorums. Two thirds of the members and the re. The biggest reason has nothing to do with politics. Biggest reason i find this to be so important. A photo not one is wearing a mask. If the whole thing's phoney it's been phony from the get-go these people believe in science. Like i believe in. Zeus the us science like they use people. It's all of this. The left uses things. If it's if it's helpful to their power they will use science. They know they will use the scientists that they believe in. Why not wearing masks in in this very confined space of a chartered jet small small relative to ones that they would fly normally from dallas to washington. Dc anybody anybody know why because they know what's a fraud my question of the do leftists know that they're lying is very tough to answer when they say masks necessary and don't wear them. How can you believe that they believe it. Why aren't they wearing masks. It is a farce that you're wearing a mask in an airplane especially given that you don't wear it when you eat see when you eat. Summer Mystery: Glacier Ice Worms Rise Again in the Pacific Northwest

"We know about the ice worms but we don't know about the ice worms at least most of us don't so we don't appreciate what an exciting time of year this is for researchers like scott hoteling from washington state university. It's time when the weather gets warmer up. They come squirming toward the light from deep within the glaciers on mount rainier billions of tiny skinny wriggling black strings that live in glaciers but died when the temperature drops below freezing but somehow survived for a long time down in the ice or replace themselves constantly. We don't know much about their reproduction and seem to surface in summer to bask in the sun but may have another reason in general their reasons for doing anything are largely on known as mr hoteling told. Npr there are more mysteries than there are solved things with ice worms. So there's a lot to learn still and maybe now that we've heard about this eager ice warm reception. We'll all give them less of a lukewarm reception.

That direction of it is so great that it's it stands out as a as a classic road movie you know it's it. It's fund scraped. Like i said earlier crates. That trope of her sticking out her leg to get the guy to pull over when they're hitchhiking and one point or another everybody's kind of scene stills from the most famous one is probably the one where her and humphrey humphrey bogart's though that would be crosby. Yeah bing crosby clark gable and humphrey bogart all sitting on offense bob clark gable and her sitting on the fence together out in the field. That's actually where the hitchhiking scene takes place but You know it's got a great Great cast for the time yellen hale. Arthur hoyt Also roscoe karns Got a lot of people there. But it's kind of like the also the Creation of the bride on the run genre. also breida. the ran around bad. The other movie i watched had we have not talked about yet. Was the muppet movie Because i was thinking about traveling. Yeah over and it's got everything it's got the road. It's got the stops at location where things happen. But they don't stay there. is out nation. It's the destination in mind. You know you've got the the foil of dot copper jason around the whole time and it's got the self-discovery going through it. Also you know which culminates in the Were stuck in the desert around the campfire. One scene you know. It's probably if i were to say road movies movies. Probably my top ten of road movies. Let's just a great movie regardless of the puppets. It's just a great movie anyway. Your ad that communiqu element and the music and everything. And it's just. It's just steve martin as a waiter. "A matchbox car. You know it's like you can definitely tell. And apparently both bo and luke were like this is ridiculous you know they thought it really hurt the show. I guess which. I suppose it did. If you want to see a car jump off a cliff you want to see a car jumping off a cliff not so yeah anyway. Sorry about that dump. This is the first union for us. No no no not at all. Yeah i think. I had a generally Matchbox car when. I was a kid and i remember watching the show not as much as susie apparently but apparently not i remember watching. You know pretty pretty regularly. I'd say that's that's fair. yeah it was. It was a stupid fun. Yeah i wouldn't definitely like when i was a kid. I was into the show. Not as much as like the a team or even nightrider like years later i went back and watched it. I don't know as early teenager and didn't think too much of it. So i was curious how my perception would have changed again going back to it after not having seen it in probably twenty five years. So what did you think was shocked at. Actually how well it held up. I mean yeah rosco. p coltrane's laugh was annoying shit but like aside from that like the actor was better than i expected. You're only going to pick. His whole character was annoying. Character was annoying. But it's the laugh in particular laughs. The worst part of an awful character correct. Yeah but like the acting and the scripts were better than i thought. It wasn't quite as much catherine bach bacteria as i expected like. There was a lot of that but there was just as many excuses to show. The luke boy is shirtless shirtless or ask shots them in jeans which i thought was strangely progressive for the time. Well i mean they had to get as much as they you know attract much of the audience as they could at the time also if you watch the first five to everything else there is a change in tone if you if you watch the pilot episode. There's there a one scene where they walk into the bar and go looks at daisy and goes viewer. My cousin. i'd marry you and she's like. When does that stopped anybody in our family the They cut those jokes and that sort of stuff out after the fifth episode now why timid i went down from rabbit hole on this one. They changed the time slot. They the first five episodes were on at the nine o'clock hour after that they moved into eight o'clock which is considered the family hour so they had to turn down all the jokes at the turn down. Yeah the incense jokes and that sort of thing so outside of those five you know the rest of them were a lot more family friendly than you'd expect from view the first couple ones i. I'm telling you..

"Rich perverted apples to apples. Is what howard. Yeah pervert somebody's just Sexist misogamist offensive and horrible and hysterical. However you don't haven't played apples to apples. Basically the concept is is. There is one set of cards that puts forth a category over descriptors or whatever and the rest of the cards are phrases or nouns or other things that could be used to play to say. Okay the person is going to be. Judging for the round has played this category. I'm going to attempt to play card from my hand that the judge will select is the best one matching the car that they have played man. You score if the judge picks the card that you have played on their Category and you go around the table. The person to the left of the judge becomes the new judge and so on And you try to play to the judge. Whatever sense of humor whatever whatever they feel whatever you think they would they would win. If you haven't already he went. Oh somebody would just really appreciate it really like or your favorite whatever you know might use me match their political inclinations or it might make fun of a celebrity. They particularly hate just like motherfucking sorters. Yes yeah i think. We've all figured out. Joe favorite card german dungeon porn but So yes we got that one. What are the games we play now. Well that was one of the games that we have played at least three of the four of us have played recently. The other game that three of the four of us have played would be the resistance. Is we played new year's eve Joel and mike and myself. After on The resistance is similar to the party game mafia. Or are you aware. Wolf except unlike mafia. Where will you don't have to have someone set out to run the game. It's a game where you have one group of resistance agents trying to take down a government. But they know they're spies among their number No one knows who the spies are. You know your own loyalty whether you're part of the resistance or whether you're a governments fi and each person has to take it in turn to select a number of people to go on missions to take down the government and the spicer attempting to get on that team and make sure a certain number of the missions fail. They're different cards. That can be played to change the leader to make votes fail whether or not As a group you're going to allow the team composition that the leader has proposed to go on the mission and ends up being a lot of fun Certain missions are easier. You only need to send three people in say a game of five some of them you might need to send four people but it takes to Traders for the mission to fail. I think every time we played though the charters always one they did. Yeah they did. And i wasn't sure what i was going to think about it at first because you know me and games were not always super super close friends but i ended up at a lot of fun with it once. I understood it. Although i still don't think i totally forgot to catch. I tried got the mechanics but maybe not the strategy. Yeah and yeah. That's that probably was affected by the fact that we were all drinking pretty heavily by that point that too well we still had a good time with a net right there. Everybody did yeah. It's one of those that with that game it. That strategy would change with everybody. You play with. Yeah i remember. Amy was so proud being the first one of the first traders and totally snowed. All of us is nobody would have expected amy..

"Based on what's going on with the respective families Sarah has done the turkey at least twice Trying to think of where we work. Sarah has done the turkey. Guess in the jury. Pretty sure where. We're living in hyde park on the south side of chicago. We had to do one thanksgiving pretty much. Just the two of us i. I might have been working retail at the time so there wasn't a whole lot of time to go to like might ads place and her family at that. Point was living in indiana. So i think we had to do that once but we usually contribute something to the menu wherever we go whether that's a dessert or aside and frequently I found our tastes have changed. I'm gonna bail. Mike out a little bit on his adding weird stuff Sweet potatoes apples are not weird. They are when they're in the sweet potatoes. How about bananas. Because i got this idea you have my attention got this recipe from an alton brown show And i saw john show yes they do kind of look like you mentioned where you do mashed bananas with the sweet and the marshmallows and some walnuts and i did that as a side one year so that was kind of interesting. The banana was a little overpowering. Which is why. I only did it once. But it was an interesting combination. You're giving him no crap out bananas no you know. They lay at least at least consistency. Wise would go with sweet potatoes and bananas and thanksgiving i had. They had apple. They had sweet potatoes no way. We're going for historically accurate menu. Were just talking about a good menu. Yeah that'd be tested. We're going historically accurate. Let's get some. ill see. You should have covered your with the name of a famous chef. Mike that's my takeaway. Here he'd like to. He told me to put apple validated. I'll go with it now. you know. Now we're good other side dish who the carcass. Nobody thinks dexter is the only one you can get that the other side dish that i have mastered over the years and made a part of Thanksgiving has been collard. Greens actually oh. Yeah depending on where you are in the country. The wasn't a tradition for thanksgiving growing up. But as i've become an adult has become a holiday. Tradition have Collard greens with various holiday. Celebratory meals and a slow smoking the collard greens with apple.

What she she brought it up and she knew what she's like you know to keep party is right. And we're like yeah and then she makes. I think it was a flip remark but just coming out of her mouth was weird. Hang the carcasses wants you joel. She hid jewish hoping to pull yorkie. That's not what's coming out of her mouth the issue it's going. I was going to see who leave. You're going to carry that one out. You know you know what the name of his eyes autobiographies dick tieman in your face and funny by the way. Did anybody notice that the kids in this movie were all like from an eighties. New wave band. Oh the hair. Yeah yeah yeah. Eagles running around. I thought it was fun. Yeah and and and what was what was the deal with needing to make the grim sympathetic but having an utterly unsympathetic other villain character and the mare. Because i didn't. I didn't understand why they i mean i don't. It almost took cast jeffrey tambor. And they're like well we gotta do something with him. Let's create this character for him. You know i get you know what the thing is. Though what jeffrey tambor was given he did a great job i love. I love him and everything he does. Yeah everything i mean. It's i mean he is. His character was exactly what it was supposed to be. He was funny you know he was. You know with Clint howard which funny do you know what clint howard characters name was finally did i. We're making funnily. Yeah except funny too. Funny a clint. Clint howard's characters name was hubris. Oh edge that interesting. yeah so you know. There's a little bit of cleverness in there. But i think the takeaway from the movie is that you're supposed to be nice to anyone even if they're grumpy unless mayor. Because fuck that guy government back that was the thing is like everyone's giving the grinch the benefit of the doubt but you get to the end of the movie and the mayor's just like it's like well what about him. He's not really doing anything any worse than what the grinch did well did. The town is like well. We need a new grinch. I guess what just turn against this asshole. Yeah and cindy lou who sticking up for him as soon as the grinches except that she she just turned her guns around like right. Now you got work on you. Listen up you all right. And then we got the ending. Where the grinch says this adds care.

He always had he always had that even the forty four one that starts out with him on the motorcycle anyway. So i'm i'm trying to send post the link to the trailer. You guys you guys can at least watch it but not very good. Was the one to one shot. Movie red brown s captain america. Who went on to to do nothing at all. Like he did a uncommon valor. Might get your steps. Yeah okay. Film uncommon valor. And he's also if you're into like eighty s cult sci fi classics where brown was also in cage. What who's in your the hunter from the future Space mutiny rubble. War strike commando okay. So he he went to be movies. Yeah i mean yeah. He didn't ever really do anything. Better than captain america. He was best known for those two crappy made for tv movies. Captain america and captain america to a death too soon which was awful. And don't forget. We are missing one other captain america thing which was the nineteen sixty six animated show which by today's standards looks like The horrible clutch cargo. But they're actually animated. It's not like actual people's mouths you know like mimicking the voices. I just central lincoln In the chat. It's it's awful. I mean it's it's fun from an art perspective but the show itself is kind of terrible so hello. Hey god. I wanna punch oklahoma right in the next. So pat pat. How did you feel about the nineteen forty four captain america where you shaving. At that point you know no. I've never seen it. Sorry the nine hundred sixty six animated series series note. "I really appreciated him a lot more. But then in rising the planet of the apes. I think is phenomenal despite him. So right from the get-go i was. I was destined to not like this movie. Because james franco was the lead however that being said based on the wizard that were familiar with from the original nineteen thirties classic. I felt he did justice to a younger version of that wizard and he played it up with justin us kind of smarmy side show huckster that i bought it by the end and i'm still not a fan but yeah so someone else. Yeah you should see him in spring. Breakers there you go. I will say the this this entire movie. Basically suffered from miscasting miscasting bad writing. I know rachel weisz would have been much better in the role. That meal kunas head. Mila kunis is gorgeous and just a perfect human being. She's amazing and all that stuff but she doesn't have the acting chops just yet to pull off the gravitas. When he was turning into the wicked witch just looked like a girl. Having a tantrum is all it looked like it. just it didn't look like a like a complete transformation of heart and soul. I mean she just not that. Good actor shit. I think eventually she'll get there but i mean at james franco is amazing comedies. But in drama. He's just he just thinks he's just not a very good. He's funny person that with this. Was i thought it was more of a drama than a comedy family. Movie black swan. I don't like coolness. Either or michelle. Me likud in american psycho to god. That was heard. I'm gonna go put my hand on that movie and go and hope it turns into something good. I guess already. I'm afraid that i was the only one who liked this. 'cause i absolutely loved it. I haven't given my overall feelings at the bits. And i'm just rolling into it. Yeah the i think okay the rest of my family seen this before me..

"When i worked at trader joe's i got actually got a sit down talking to when i came back the next day because all the i didn't buy anything for suzanne for valentine's day we don't really. It's not like something we celebrate. You know it's not like i was. I was leaving a all the women in sort of like. You're not buying any flowers. No today's valentine's day. Yeah we'll how has your wife going to know that you you know how she can know that you love her. I'll look because i got my ass out of bed at two in the morning to come here and work with you idiots. That's how he knows. I love her gay. And that's the biggest. Apparently you're not supposed to say that to people like well. The two kids would be a clue. Yeah the two kids and still be here you know. Yeah there's those two kids really really bonded us. I and i'm sorry. It's the biggest scam for valentine's day. That if you wanna buy something like roses the prices go up. Oh yeah jack. All the prices up. And it's like motherfucker. Well it's just like you put you put wedding on anything and it automatically gets three times as expensive. It's insane says the guy who just got married well before the covert thing happened and we were looking at stuff and we're like okay. We're talking to places where like how much for blah blah blah this kind of cake. And then they're like is it for a wedding or like yeah. I'm like all sudden the price right. So i'm just gonna eat it. I just really like wedding cake. Three tiered cake for myself. Me fat ass. I dare you. But it's it's the one thing that was always just another reason not to celebrate especially when you're younger and you don't have you know a a good cash flow yet you know you're a college student. You're working part time job or whatever it's like. Am i gonna spend thirty bucks on a of roses or whatever i mean. It's just it's yeah gouges shit at ya. Yes let the heat flow fucking florist mafia. But i don't understand how in a woman's is. It means anything if you get something. Obviously the dude stopped at walgreens and bought you this crappy little chocolate in this crappy little rhode set didn't even think about it until he was audits drive home as a crap. It's valentine's day. How does that even matter. How does that make you. I mean why is that a standard of anything. Why would ever want that. I don't need lowers the about it. From a homeless guy at the stoplight. You had no thought at all put into this. You stop somewhere and bought these on way home like if you wanted like bayoumi as a woman if you wanna buy me like a you know an expensive whatever that shows you at least put some thought into it like the guy who like when you walk into the cvs and you see a light of six guys standing there with their plastic heart red heart chocolate crap like you guys are with women that don't that they don't deserve this treatment. They should leave you. Whoever they are. joel. This raised his hands that he bought gas station flowers before. That's why why. Why is that better than doing nothing. I guess it depends on if you're with someone at value's meaningless tradition. And i say that like actually as a thing because there are some people that are have like wedding. Your wedding pattern is something. That's important. I don't get it i don't either just give.

Yeah all of us were excited and then the the trailer with the dress park play and i was worried about it because you know how. We are with remark remakes. But i don't know after. I saw the rest partake i was calm about. Came out in november twentieth. Released anna maniacs. And they are all in with the self referential mocking themselves. Were coming back from the first episode when they're all wearing the hulu green outfits in front of the giant pile of cash. They're all in on this. And i think i love the the one change in that in the theme song is that you should see our new contracts and its death yeah twenty eighteen. They announced that they were going to there. We're going to bring it back in. That's gonna have at least two seasons will be airing on hulu if it has good viewership and ratings. They're hoping that they will also be able to bring tiny toon adventures back. Hulu has warner brothers. Gave who the rights. That's cool so some of the things they're hoping during bags. Maybe the pinky and the brain plucky duck show spinoff pinky elmira and the brain which was a brief show and then freakazoids for some reason is not included in the deal I wonder why. Probably because freakazoids like pushing neil does a little bit too far. Freakazoids was fun but took a while to get into you. I don't think he would like freak. It's funny it is it really is. It's like a. it's kind of like the kids deadpool. I think there's a pretty good. It's got very cartoon sensibility. It's got the same kind of quick witted wacky nece. Yeah the easiest. Like a superhero. That knows that he's in a superhero cartoon type of thing. The that's really how it plays off but this time around just arnelle maurice lamarche. They got everybody back all the animators. They got the voices back. I mean there are some of the some of the teaser. Stuff they showed. They had them in the recording room of everybody doing the new show. I'm grateful for that. Because i do not think that they could have done it without the same team. Yeah they would have had to reboot the entire thing and start from scratch with even new characters. Yeah there is a heck of a lot of trivia on this according to show runner wesley. Wild and co-producers gave swaran. Tom milton producer. Steven and steven spielberg was at every pitch meeting for this. An insisted on maintaining most of the elements of the original show including the original voice cast. I'm not surprised. I mean it was. It was his baby. Yeah i wasn't. I was very trip was a little bit trepidation on that. Because it's like you want you have those great memories on it. I wasn't sure what was going to get. And the i really love how they're all in on the we've sold out.

Hey you wanna fight all but as you know we will fight about anything. No we won't. Yeah we will. We will fight about anything. I agree with mike on that. You're wrong to say fuck you. Joe agrees with me. And that's how you know you're wrong to say sir. Now we're going to do the the best and the worst of the now and dublin back to the intros. These are the lyrics. Caesar the these are the verses. Were sing in it and we're doing it in our style and jaunty way. Yeah i gotta say mike this winter you took it so i didn't have to cool. I feel good about this. Josh liked it. And then i took my song so he didn't have to okay. No this is on the The album bare naked for the holidays..

"To go for it. Joke was saleh. i agree with him on that one. That's awful pat. I stand by it you would you stand by me. Stand by you her calling it break. We're back in a little bit and we'll we'll talk about pet senator. Two thousand nineteen All right we are back to talk about pet cemetery twenty nineteen in this one doctor louis creed and his wife. Rachel relocate from boston to rural maine with two young children. Couple soon discover a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near their new home. Yeah so a little bit. More meat on that description This is this. One is directed by kevin koelsch and dennis woodfire. So kevin cole known for outside of this story is absences postcards from the future that chuck palino's documentary things like that but dennis would meyer. I don't know any of those now is was i've i've heard a story is the other guy. He's pretty much running neck and neck on this one team from what i understand. So the screen story though screen story and screenplay there's two of these. I don't know what the differences i don't either. That's kinda strange. I can tell you though joel to tell the while they began developing this adaptation of pet cemetery back in two thousand ten matt greenberg wrote it and when they finally got around to making it in two thousand seventeen or start working on it. They gave him a story credit because he had written the script that they used aspects of but they basically agree. Wrote it. Okay so this thing's been sitting in development hell for almost a decade so matt greenberg. You may know him for being the writer on such things as the movie. Fourteen o eight. Which i believe is another stephen king. Hasn't it yes sir. John cusack yup and raina fire which is such an underrated movie. I love that and the invisible man. The tv series interesting from two thousand weird time. Yeah before this. He also did seventh son. He was a writer on that abomination movie so but jeff bueller at the macaulay culkin. No no is julianne. Moore kit harrington. It's one of those. That should have been a lot better on paper than it was on the screen. Also jeff bueller midnight meat train he wrote the screenplay for.

"Now for our feature presentation if there's anything we've ever done i'm particularly proud of i would have to say that the perpetuation of the greatness greatness the rate is to take a professional football team and give it a distinct characteristic that's different from all others the greatness of the raiders even some may scoff but what other pro sports team is instantly identified with a song like this i had a dream that someday i would build a fine storms ation professional sports this commitment to excellence the greatest place flame burned during brightest terrorist and wilton just win play hard try not to make mistakes but don't worry about mistakes stokes because there's only one thing that counts just win when you have drake coaches then have great coaches yet gracelands never great organization and you tell them one thing just went welcome back to cuba name savoy cue them a positive person sports radio and myself joe rigo did in another installment of this show that is powered by SP nation on the silver and black pie podcast network what we have today are your email you the raiders trip across the time against the bears tain london england or the city of open still nephew what they're doing or not doing with the college fox's birthday but right now dr. with the raiders were doing going into the fifth week of the year to the big game against the bears but let's talk about the vikings game which to me was just a game where you kind of really if you're a raider fan you want throw away to tape and never watch it again in the cold wind which i think is starting to different now going starting with the viking game the raiders secondary in particular riley riley look lost i mean he was an abomination on the back end it really camila started the loss of john abram like going forward that was one of the things that that kinda just stood out to me and i did my game balls which is non franchised stores are franchised sports dot com and the two people that got game balls were darren waller and AJ coal oh like those are the two guys that to me stood out that game there was not another person on defense or that offense that sit out and it kinda goes back to to me and we'll get into this after i get your opinion goes back to people in derek carr and just a love hate relationship people have them during that game you know after the game i should say there was so many people bro that that jus- car stuff you need to get rid of him he just he just throws check downs he doesn't take shatskikh skied he's scared in the pocket he doesn't do this or that but when you look at the numbers and if you're a statsky PFM house them a half ten as far as quarterbacks in the NFL right now so it it goes back to what we talk about on the last show people love to hate care car they don't feel that he's the guy to lead them or when he does something good than they love him but he's he makes a mistake in the world like you said the grass is always greener you you always want what you don't have but not viking game the raiders that didn't have anything in order josh jacobson touch the ball enough tyrod williams had a horrible rebel game and and just was to me a combination i think of a lot of things that just kind of blew up in their face i agree man i agree that minnesota viking game amen all of a sudden it just was it got away from him and he got away from in a hurry and they just discombobulated the whole time i mean they really did look like it looked like it was their first road game of the season it it looks like they're very uncomfortable on the road kicking off early ten AM west coast stars the raiders traditionally aren't very good at that even though they over the past few years they start start to come around especially under jack del rio started come around on those ten AM west coast kickoff games and they just look like they kind of reverted back to their old self in that game it was really a disappointing running game and it's funny because it was a game that i was actually i actually had to watch after the fact that it actually played i mean i was in arlington covering the cowboys and dolphins game which was a snooze news fast but anyway i had to cover that for ESPN central texas so i was there and i remember saying we'll i'll just kind of keep up on the score and then i'll watch and see how it all shakes out at the house is get home and i mean it just got out of control so quickly it was like seven nothing vikings i was fourteen not the vikings twenty one nothing oh damn i mean it hasn't even really got started it just it was a snowball effect man wants one thing went bad another thing went bad three things bad and all of a sudden here you go you're down one nothing if you're playing madden you're off the sticks you know what i mean i mean it's just it's it's exactly what it is and so that was one of those games i think you hit on the head right at the very beginning when you said that's a game if you're the raiders raider fans you take that tape tape you ball it up you throw it in the trash can you set it on fire and never have to think about it again it just was what it was it was a bad showing all the way around you mentioned there waller had a good game gay hey did late in the game he was able to get a so catches and kind of keep up with his consistency throughout the season but it was all late kind of garbage time stats you know i know the tyrel williams got a touchdown catch that night but it was late in the game and it was just you know it is what it was it was over before it wasn't over it was just done and so it was just unfortunate the raiders were able to get off to that kind of started minnesota maybe the games a little bit different if they get off to a better start but they didn't so you know they just had to hope the rebound against the colts and lucky for them they were able to do that one of the things that i love about living in vegas i love about LA when i lived in LA was echo whatever games i wanna watch it doesn't matter if it's a specific team to the latest thinker i don't wanna watch growing up in southern california in the eighties and nineties the rams weren't good and the raiders have their bomas great they're good but that they they weren't and you were stuck watching football and that's what that that's what the viking game reminded me of as a young kid putting on a raider game and they just get their ass and you're stuck watching and you have other gays sprawling across the ticker that are just better gains what league early in the house and i'm in my roommate and i we have a TV going to computers and phones with so we have literally early what six games five six games going on at one time i love it it was great but it just sucks and we going to the sports book catching the rest of the game eric's because he's a gambler i'm not you know god grew up with we have an apartment together and he even if we go the sports but not like this they have one dollar beers yeah i had about twelve of them uh-huh i left there by the lake because there were just some stinkers but watching that game i was glad i was there to watch the other games it's now fast forward lassen day with the colts game it was a completely different raiders tea and what i liked about this t- relic about this game against the colts was josh jacobs stop the ball like i honestly at this point i don't think it's presumptive for me to say this is the best player in the raiders offense no doubt all right no doubt no doubt you gotta give the kid the ball feed him the ball you like at this point twenty to twenty five on the ground and giving me five in the air like get the guy the ball between twenty five and thirty five times a game in some capacity let him go to work his vision is amazing team like i love his ability to cut back the way he sees the field as a running back the way he runs his dad's behind him tad level down he may not be outrun run everybody unit break off a long runner too he's he's just a really really really good running back the raiders are lucky to have them and then oh you know and you get tara williams going like you did last game when you get you have there in walls now starting to ski for that's that's helping everybody else around you now you have something going on now you're cooking with some with some some grease as you like to say buddy and and i liked that i liked the way there was more balance on the offense and i like the fact that defensively us you've seen the raiders come to play but it was very critical of eric harris the last few weeks and even in the preseason he had a hell of a game i'll give credit credit i'm gonna criticize criticize you right we need to criticized but i'm going to give credit required as he had one hell of a game the way he played our finish the game that's after the raiders you more of the rest of the year from this thing that type of effort yeah that's that's the thing man it's it's the the effort wasn't there i didn't think that was their against minnesota and there's multiple reasons for that you know it's like it could be they don't understand what they're supposed to be doing they weren't well prepared or they just didn't have the they weren't giving it that's what i felt like it was against minnesota but it gets indianapolis you're right man it was a whole different ball game it was a whole different outlook the team was completely different again they they went out there and do what they did and stopping the run was huge for the defense stopping that run stopping marlin mac hold him to thirty five yards that was huge after a week before getting killed by dalvand cook dowell cook just absolutely went all the way down to cook on them and he's the number one rushing the league for a reason but he looked like the number one russia in the league against the the raiders and then dow or the dow cook but marlin mac is number three will marla mac didn't look like he was a number three rusher in the league the raiders they really held their own and really made him a non factor in the game and basically did to him him what the vikings did the josh jacobs josh jacobs only carried the rock ten times against minnesota he only got he he got what seventeen carries against the colts while marla mceligott eleven carries against it's the raiders because they took him out of the game early so that was that was one of the biggest keys and you mentioned you know feeding the the young guy josh jacobs the rock i've been screaming that for weeks i'm like man mandalay do can go he doesn't have a lot of wear and tear on his tires just feed him he's a young dude who wants to go give them the rock give the ball the passing game and get it done and so they were able to do that on on sunday and i hope they continue to do that moving forward right now he's a ninth leading rusher in the league and he's highest highest rated rookie in the first round one of the first round draft picks according to PF it's not the end all be all i don't live and die by that but sometimes they have some stats that kind of stand out to me like oh that's pretty cool you know that's kind of a cool little i know you know but that that's one of those that i kinda found to be cool that jacobsz rate is so high and he just got out katina do his thing and i agree with you when you you say that he's the best player on the raiders offense he absolutely is the way he goes is how that offense goes in and furthermore to tobacco statement up trent brown today said they were asking the raiders identity what was the raiders identity and he said we've got to play smashmouth football we've got to run the ball stay on track ahead of the chains try to play in third and short defensively offensively just keep everything in front of us get takeaways control the clock that is the absolute recipe and.

raiders football thirty five yards one dollar
