"Bitcoin. I don't have a dime a Bitcoin. I'm never going to own a dime a Bitcoin. I just think it's gambling. It's not investing in one day. It went from $53,000 to $42,000 yesterday. Then it rebounded to $47,000. It closed. Around 46 400. Early this morning. Last time I looked at it, so that's not investing. That's gambling apple. I only own one or two stocks at a time. Because I'm a mutual fund. You've heard me say this a million times. I know how to buy a house. I buy them through Andrew and todd dot com. And I've done that on both coasts, and I've done that in between. And real estate is complicated enough, but investing I say to myself, you know, it's pretty hard to run a radio show. Yesterday had to teach Dwayne about fiber optics because we install the fiber optic line at the studio. And Dwayne was totally confused by this and Comcast man and I had to walk him through it. But I know my business. I know how to put together a studio and Comcast knows how to put in a fiber optic line. But you know, Duane was a little behind the curve, so we had to explain it to him. So imagine that degree of complexity times a gazillion That's the financial market. So if you think you can pick stocks, you're actually picking stocks against the smartest people in the world. If you think you can design an NFL offense, they're only like 32 head coaches for a reason. And there are 100 major college head coaches further 132 people in the United States that you would trust to run. An NFL or a big college program. You've got to be pretty smart and have his skill set. So when it comes to investing if you're actually buying, you know, Bitcoin, you just gambling. If you're throwing darts at the stock board, that's why I own Amazon and nothing else. They see an apple. Sold Apple when it got really, really high and apple hit a new high yesterday. Uh so I made a dumb move. That's what happens when you're a dummy. When it comes to investing. I should have just talked to my apple by the boy. That's a lot of money. I'd better take that out of there. The gun up so much. And they keep rising. But Amazon keeps rising, too. So I'm happy with that. But my point is Try to get some expertise. Hire a mutual fund.

Dwayne Amazon $53,000 $47,000 Comcast United States Duane Apple one yesterday $42,000 132 people apple Early this morning both coasts 32 head coaches two stocks one day Andrew Yesterday

"When your skin is, but you know, ten shades darker than the person writing it. So I I will say listeners to ios this racist check it out. We'll know I've talked about it many times what I moved to Los Angeles. I drove from New York, and I just overlaid the southern poverty Law Center hate crime man with my route. And it was just like guess what Idaho not stopping much my dad had one of those. I don't remember if I used it or not. But I I was just like what's going on in here. And it was like, oh, here's all the hate groups, at least it gives you some kind of indication of where the fuck you're supposed to go. But man, it was Victor Hugo green. I was like he can't figure who go. Green. It was because Victor Hugo's from les mis. And then his name has to be green because the book so. Book. Anyways. I think we're is going to take best picture. I'm going to get after this. It's tough try and see it in a theatre if you can I hate designs. It's amazing, and it sucks that it's gone that Netflix is the one that bought it because I guess a, thankfully it did. Because I don't know if the movie like again this higher online would. But the problem is is that like watching it on the computer is just like it's not the same experience. And I also think the reason it will win is. It's a hard movie to dislike I think there are there's a lot of love for bohemian rhapsody green book. But I think there is an it will be a lot of people's like one two threes bohemian rhapsody in green book, but it will be a lot of people's tends to and I think Roma is just going to have a better batting average in terms Yang one two three. 'cause like I I don't know anybody who seen Roma who like actively thought it was a bad you could rack up enough threes to get you over the threes. And once which is I think a lot. I think that's how I think. That's absolutely how shape of water one. I think that's why rush shock to a lot of people. Andrew. What's your shape of water take? It's my favorite thing. Water is the Riverdale of Alf. It's about you got a weird alien. But now we folks now he's super sexy, and he. Yeah. We all fuck that fish, right? Would got to fuck a fish. Yeah. I mean, it saved us from three billboards win because I think again that was a lot of people's ones and a lot of people's tends. Let me let's do those super sense since we are on sensibly a political show. You know, how every year the Oscars becomes lately the Oscars becomes like a proxy for like good good America bat, America. What do you think the two movies are like, what do you think? The good America movie is going to be. Let's just do of the best pictures. We got Black Panther black clansmen bohemian rhapsody, the favorite green book Roma stars born and vice I think the favorite is good America. Bohemian rhapsody is bad America. Okay. I'm gonna go with I think Black Panther is good America. And I think green book is what white liberals think good America is really bad America. Okay. I'm gonna go with a black clansmen. And also like green book is like the LA La Land in that like lowlands fault. Not. Wow, no wrong side of a culture. If LaLa land wasn't in the cultural conversation of the Oscars and award season. Yeah. I don't think people would have been nearly as mad because it's not a bad movie. It's a fine movie. And I just think it got praised too much in that made people mad can we really quickly cannot believe that Spike Lee, it's his first trauma nation. I can't remember who it was just clip of this. Oh, fuck I just left my mind, but go back, and you can Google it. Go back to the year that. Do the right thing came out at the Oscars. Suddenly roberts. No, no, no. It wasn't Julia Roberts. It was a blonde Daryl Hannah, maybe went off script and was like here are the nominees for best picture. Here's the one that should have been actually named best picture is it we always surprised though, because I feel like this has been the last two years maybe have finally been the years of like, black shit, isn't niche content..

"He did not gangsta it. You know? He's a hard are. It's just so Morton's. Well, then fuck you Ed, Harris never said the N word. We're getting him on stuff. Now. Maybe I mean, maybe that might hurt his best actor Ono. Well, and the other thing the other thing that news came out today is Bryan singer more allegations from underage men, which could not to be crass. We'll probably hurt bohemian rhapsodies chances in in this Oscar race as well. And maybe hurt Romney Malik who up until this point. I think was a lock for best actor, and so now that might be sort of up in the air and clearly Vigo's probably out of the running at this point too. So I knows it might be remember it because I even struggled to be. I was like he did something that was just November. Oh, I didn't even that had gotten no press because I think else clue. So it might be Vigo's now to lose. If people don't remember back in November, and people aren't still talking about it. I just feel like a Malange of like crystal fucked up about green bar. Yeah. I don't know. What it is. It just feels like something's fucking people mad to that. It didn't actually explain what a green book is. I don't did not at that hotel you when I saw the film. You don't know the green book is tell you. But I also like I watched it on a plane back from Japan. So I was in a state shish dot quick lesson for the listeners green book was created by a Victor green, Victor, Hugo green, perhaps he was a it was called the negro. Motorists green book, I could've looked this up actually gonna fly based on my general knowledge, but it was a handbook for black. Motorists to us to see where it was safe to go where they can eat where they could sleep where they could not be harassed. So when they were road tripping or driving cross country or moving across country. It was literally a book that you had to keep in your car that told you where was safe to go, and we see a lot of echoes of that now with like LGBTQ travel like people that create travel guides that are gay. Friendly, especially for international destinations gets compared a lot to the green by go to say worrying around the US, I found it's so interesting to try and find like a gay bar in like the outer woods of Maine sometimes because like they won't like I'll Google gay bar, and then I'll look at the page, and they'll say nothing about being gay. But it's just the gay people in this area. Does I decided that maybe know? Against the owner's wishes that and it's still funny because sometimes they'll call and I did this in providence recently. And I was like is this place that gay bar and the person on the other line is like we can't answer. We don't answer that question over the phone because like I get it. Why I think it targeted who knows who's asking the question. So that's interesting. Yeah. I don't think that's clearly defined on movie. But I could I might have missed it. I might have been the worst. That's maybe my biggest controversy with the film. Then is that it's like, oh, everyone should know what this is. Because while it was very necessary. And it's even like, it's why a lot of like black Centric travel groups have emerged like there's one called mill madness. There's one called travel new are. And there are a little like luxury crazy vacations. But also some of it is like where is it? Where are we welcome type of thing, especially when you travel internationally because this is something I talk about on our show a lot, which is that travel literature, and the travel landscape is written largely by almost entirely by white people now lately by white women. That's been the big tie. The eat pray. Love phenomenon has meant that. Like the travel blogging is very. Very feminine. But very very female. I should say, but very white. So you get misinformation when you are not that color, and you go travel somewhere the about safety about mission of the type of like, this place was lovely. Yeah. Nice to me like you will get robbed and followed, and they'll charge you more money, and it's almost entirely opposite..

"But does it feel like before Twitter? We it was easier to be right about nominations and things for the Oscars. I have no because I feel like now we're getting like so much more public opinion about things that it tends to sway. What I think is going to be nominated or what's going to win because we tend to talk about it more on line four. I kind of understood this archaic academies voting system was going to be kind of different from mine. So I wasn't surprised when weird things I mean, I think. For this. I mean, I don't necessarily think it's it's it's any great, you know, crime that he wasn't. I think the biggest directing snub of the year of someone who's gotten. No attention who directed. I think one of the best movies of this year as Marielle Heller for can you ever forgive me? It was incredible. I mean, I'm sorry mos- McCarthy is sh she. She won't win. Right. I think she should win. I think it's the best of that of that field. It's great. I'll be very happy with a Glenn win because she was very good and a very bad movie. So and that's a feat unto itself in many ways. And you know, I love to see your when I think her speech at the Golden Globes sort of helped her campaign a lot. But I would also love the Livia win to. I it'll be interesting to see how this splits. We'll go three that most McCarthy should win for best actress, and I even think Richard grant should win. I think he might have a chance don't know that category has a lot of people. I if if green book if if. Mahathir sheila. I you did this doesn't take it. Then I think it's Richard grants to lose. But it'll be interesting to see because the thing is like we've only if we've seen a lot. I think it will be green book because green book has swept sort of the lesser sort of critics out. Yeah. Awards and stuff like that. I sag hasn't happened yet. I think sag will be a big indicator if you can take if Marshall it gets the sag award, I think than it's a full lock for. No, I'm looking at just now they're going to do something wild and give it to Sam Rockwell from vice he doesn't need another one that movie was shit. Do they did I was trying to think because I not lucky enough to be voter in any I guess WGN awards doesn't really count counts. No. But like are they how how separate are? They like one of the votes, you know, how much of the backlash figures into kademi awards voting. I don't actually know off the top of my I don't I don't know that it will or does because the reason people pay attention to the lesser awards is because a good Shung vote or. Yeah. Producers guild, it's directors writers guild an end sag. And so it's people from all those groups sort of together in the critics awards as well. So we are good indicator. But I think it will. I like, I don't know. It'll be interesting to see how the backlash both with you know, the Shirley family, and yeah, what's his face is Islamaphobia tweets. Mortenson do some shit too. And I hope not. I'll say here's a question though. Because this was a I believe is this the first year that the academy has been allegedly more diverse. I get doesn't feel I think last year is sixteen two thousand sixteen was oscarssowhite and anything. Your day. They they did a lot. The there's even more. But it'll be I think that's why we're seeing like Black Panther. In the mix for that. I do think best picture will go to Romo because I do think because of the the weighted nature of best picture, which is honestly how I think the primary should be run. He'll Mortenson said the N word. Oh, I knew there was. For the move. It wasn't even something small indefensible. It was like the thing is nothing. You are not supposed to do. This is much about like. Whoa. Quite people when they're talking about race because they're like not calling someone that. So they think like well now, I'm an academic. And now we can all use like they think they're reading Huck Finn allowed us. For instance, no one says nigger anymore. God, the heart. Oh, I'm sure he didn't gangsta it..

"It's it's it's it's it's perfectly inoffensive in many ways, it is like a very classic sort of like white savior narrative in the, you know, the realm of the help our gash or or what have you? And here's the thing. I love the help. Do I think it deserves any Oscars at all no man and the same with green book, and the interesting thing about green book that was recently pointed out to me is that it is not the its its awards. Love is so baffling because it is neither a moneymaker. It is not it was not a box office smash. And it's not even very well reviewed it's in the sixties on metacritic. So usually one of those two things has to be true for to get the amount of awards attention that it is. And I think maybe it's just simple people who like a simple narrative feels good. And so in a way that the favourite doesn't or you know, or Roman and so people are going to vote for. But I honestly don't forsee it winning best picture in the way that it a lot of people are scared about that. But the way that the the weighted votes of best picture work. I don't think it will. Because I don't think it will be a lot of people's no one want. Yeah. Did. Oh, and also this came out a couple of weeks ago forgot to add it to a dock, but of course, the writer of green book. Oh, yeah. Heard out to be like a fucking saying. I saw the Muslim celebrating nine eleven I saw with my own tune and street. Well, do you know that musher how Bobby? Mma Herschel think you a Li I've never said the name allowed. Named Hershey about her Xiali apologized to his fans characters family because they did not really love the film. They contest the account which also like things like that. Always make me so mad when you write something about a person or about a family that is still living in breathing. And it's like, it takes three seconds to and I know families are complicated and their differing accounts. But it's not I don't think it's that hard to just fact check. Yeah. Yeah. The case though of some guy being like, yeah, he was my best friend. Also, like all writers. We're just so no, I mean, sometimes you just barely try to strand. His his life in a way. That's compelling, and yeah, he was too busy hanging out with James woods talking about the. Yeah. But also. We're all better writers in the sense that we're not doing well in this day and age I mean, come on just go through and delete me fucking. Jeez. I know it's not good. It's not it's like doesn't change your heart. And like thank God. We know. He's trash I guess. But the thing is is like just go through just elite your full account, just go and delete. All your tweets. Pre two thousand sixteen everybody should do that. All right now out and do that right now. Chilly if you're going to write an Oscar bait. Yeah. Races known as you saw as soon as you saw your Golden Globe. Nam you go straight to your computer, and you delete. You're out. Just as a golden now. It's all gone. I'm deleting my entire internet print now, can we please talk about the Golden Globe nam because you saw it musical or comedy. How I mean there's music in it like in the background. It's about a musician. So as Bahamian reps OD that is I mean, there was a lot of like category fraud. I mean putting God in drama and not musical comedy was a real misstep for them. And I don't and I think ooh, we we went into this season. Thinking stars born was it, and I am so glad that you liked the drama. I like the drama, and I did not like the, Phil. I see that either. I've watched like, it's fine. We're watching on a plane on a plane because that's where it deserves to be. Plane crash. The first forty five minutes are incredible. Great. And then it's bad. And I think it got that it deserves. I don't think that Gaga will win Bradley Cooper did not get a best director, which quite a snub surprising to people. But it sounds like it wasn't surprising to you. Joel. I mean, I'm surprised that he didn't get nominated. Because I do think that there was so much momentum going into the season. And does it feel like this is wild take?.

"I don't know why I'm stepping up offen- Montes here. I am the far left and the right center all in one person. No. But I do think that there are and this is coming from someone. I mean who there are people like this in my own family shows. I'm from the midwest. I think there are a lot of people who do believe in a path to citizenship for an fully anti immigrant. And I do believe I mean, there are so many gay fucking Republicans in this city alone who just want to hold onto their money, and like don't want an aren't I don't think like in their own sort of minds racist or phobic or any of that and sort of do find some of that stuff born and are sort of maybe a little bit regretful of their choices. Now. I mean, they're idiots, and I think they're hateful and no one should fuck them ever again. But. Ultimately, like, I do think there is like a bigger scope of people. And I think the danger though in this next election is trying to appeal to them to strongly because the fact is it's like, I don't want. Yeah. I don't like Joe Biden. I don't run him. I don't want him and I don't want. I I'm so already exhausted by the conversation among the primary of people being like week anybody is better than Trump. And it's like, okay. But like the point. Yes, once we get to the general anybody that we we've chosen is better than Trump. But we can't like end the conversation this early before half, the new thirty seven candidates have announced and by an stop. All right. Sort of criticism any candidate by being like, well, we just have to get somebody who will get all of the center and all of those Republicans, and like we got a trick our grandparents into voting for a centrist democrat this year. It's like that cannot be the narrative of gives. That's not the narrative of of what we just saw in the midterms either. That's not what. Sense of America, what people actually want. Yeah. Do we feel like moderate people on on both sides or people who are firmly in the center to feel like they really care vehemently about whether or not transpeople help defend this country. What does the average person who doesn't have transportation in their life or whatever do they care? Why why is this important does? This is absolutely a call to his base. And then why even do do those people care because his reason is that it costs money, and that it's a distraction, which is which are both lies because as this article states being trans in the military when you have gender dysphoric actually can help reduce thoughts of suicide and depression by actually getting your gender affirmed in the way that it is meant to match with your gender identity, and it doesn't cost more because it costs like point four. What did they say point? Oh, four percent increase to have these types of medications. So both those things are untrue. So does his face. Oh, yeah. But that's it's always lies like like everything. The big it's want. They have to couch it in cost or you know, effectiveness or some efficiency kind of thing. Of course, it's like you want to take rights away from trans people because they're marginalized let's be clear to trans people have been serving in the military times before Obama lifted the ban on John's in the military. I mean, it's the same thing with gay people before that people have been serving and serving affectively and have not been affecting unit cohesion, and you see people in the military people who are actually they're saying that this does not affect unit cohesion because that's the thing that they always fall back on this is like Utica, lesion Unical, and it's like, okay. But but the people who are actually on the ground in the units don't care. No one gives a shit. I guess that's what I'm getting at like are. I know that it's an excuse the cost and all of that stuff our lives for usually bigotry. But then I'm I'm wondering if there are people like why are there people who will straight up I identify? What the truth of that? And say this is why we don't want trans people in the military because we hate them..

"Oh my God. And we are back, and we are ready for topic. Number two. Dating. Dang. Ooh. Oh, those are tense Negi n- we done fucked up your show, we messed up your bell somehow gain. No, no, we're fine. We'll we'll go. We I like the fucked up bell unless it's absolutely necessary for the brand or other show now Harry school. Okay. This week Trump's supreme court lifted most of the injunctions and is expected to lift the remaining when that prevented Trump's ban on tramps people serving in the military while it was being litigated in lower courts, given the composition of the supreme court. Yeah. The band's going to be upheld because Brett Kavanagh's terrible. So he's probably not he's not going to help us in any way. This is. I mean, I we're at the like elections have consequences generational consequences part of history. Yeah. Like, yeah. It's like the composition of the supreme court. They're going to be making regressive bigoted decisions until all of us in this room die again, except for maybe Joel he's gorgeous in immortal, but other than that we fucked for for the rest of our lives honestly yet. Right. And I think the thing is the thing is is if you go back to twenty sixteen the frustrating thing is is I think the Republicans have always been very focused on the courts and the importance of the courts in a way that like the Democrats have never been able to get that messaging across like, I mean, you saw it in the conversations like vote like that's why so many moderate Republicans who find Trump to be so vile, and so an athlete. Their own beliefs still voted for him because they understand that. This is the shit that mattered like did they want did they necessarily support his entire platform or think that he would be ineffective leader? Absolutely not. But they knew. Yeah. That they'd get the stuff they would get these appointments through and that and that ultimately is what was more important than I don't know that the Democrats have ever been smart enough to make that a forward part of their messaging because again, I think it goes back to like, we don't wanna make it seem like the judiciary is the most important and most powerful branch of our three branches of government. And I think that even with I feel like it's centrist Democrats don't even think about abortion like so much of this just comes down to reproductive, health and abortion, and even centrist Democrats that have you know, whatever Christian flavors. I don't know what you call it leanings, the ones that are still Christian, but are still somehow trying to be very liberal. They wanna walk back language about abortion. Or are. They wanna talk about it in these kind. Only when it's really really necessarily like it's still this terrible thing, or like, you know, they wanna make sure that people don't have to make that choice, and they're kind of labeling it like a young person issue or whatever when sixty percent of abortions access in this country are accessed by people who are already parents who already have kids, and they just financially can't or don't fuck and feel like having another one. And I just feel like if if Democrats were more progressive about talking about reproductive, health and abortion, we could start to push some of this stuff. But you're right. They're scared. They're scared to move too far away from the center, so they don't alienate the far right people who are never going to robbing at the mouth about this. I I will take not issue. But like, I there's a part where we're drill you're talking about moderate Republicans where it's like. Hard to really identify. What it actually is? They disagree with Trump about other than the words. He uses on Twitter, because it's like, you know, if you're down with, you know, abortion, demonizing LGBTQ plus people the immigrant, but is like laws that have racist affects then you're like, definitely..

"This is is that bad bad. No. It's how how did it? Look. It looked pretty. San francisco. I will say I'm always curious because like the I like Republicans when their seat is that safe always get more fucking radical like Steve king is allowed to be a new Nazi because his is like safe because as voters want a Neo Nazi and sort of like across the board. You see Republicans are all like, you know, getting more, you know, fascist radicalized, whatever because their seats are so safe because gerrymandering etcetera etcetera, how come that shit doesn't happen on the left because I think the left end specifically Democrats, and I think specifically centre-left Democrats are so afraid of they wanna play by the rules. They wanna do everything. Right. And like, and it's about it's a sense of virtue that I don't think is helpful in terms of strategy and a lot of ways. I mean, you see again going back to like the courts like the right for years and years and years of harangued the left by being like, oh activist. Judges activist judges you can only get things. Through these activist judges, and yet they are they are actually affecting the country in their judges are more activists than ours. And we are so, and I think that's a big reason why Obama was not more aggressive about passing through and pushing the optics of it because he was afraid of of being you know, of of living up to that. Monica. And it's just like who gives a fuck as long as you're any name under the book any lying thing. So you should just do those things. And I think there's a sense. I think I don't and I I don't think this is a universal amongst the far left. But I do see Nancy Pelosi. I think starting to give less of a fuck, and that's the kind of native policy. I wanna see do. I love everything she says in does know. But if she's going to be in that position, I those things. Yeah. Well, why don't we take? And then we will continue talking about obviously, lots of stuff in the judiciary. Cool Trump military trans ban. You know, fun..

"With no plan beyond that permanent citizenship, no path to citizenship, which is a part of which is by design. Yeah. Offering bullshit. It's it's weird. How he thinks everyone is. I mean, I guess it's that's what people do. But he thinks everyone is has dumb as him. Well, I think there are a lot of people that have done because it's an optics play saying like he's like, look, I'm I'm giving you a the appearance of something that you want. And then so that hopefully that will turn the tide of public opinion against Pelosi, and the Democrats, but and he's banking on the fact that no one will do the fucking research or look at any and know that this is something that in September he already took away. So he's it's such a fucking bad deal. That's frightening to me about it is that a lot of agents are unable to get security clearances because the pay freezes, you know, making it so that they can't pass the financial background checks. So you actively getting agents who are working on things or who are trying to advance in their career who now can't get the next level of security to fight things like terrorism like things that were supposedly afraid of things that the wall is supposed to be preventing like, drug trafficking and terrorism. I mean, yeah, just what the FBI does. It's just all this snake eating its tail. It's one of those things where like on one hand. We're like, you know, it'll eventually get sort of worked out and whatever like how much damage really not. But then you're like, oh, right. Actual shit. The government actually does shit. Yeah. And it's we're witnessing. What happens when it doesn't happen? And also like with Trump in Puerto Rico. We see what happens when. We're tested, which is he does the most racist. You know thing that causes immense human death. I like. It is an it's frustrating because I think it frames the twenty twenty I mean, all all of this to say is like Mitch McConnell is thriving in this environment. He's getting so much shit done. And I I don't know that I I was just talking about this recently. I I don't know that the right has had as a as an effective leader Mitch McConnell said it's like Newt fucking Gingrich. Because the fact is is he's getting a lot of shit done. And he's awful. He's vile. I think the things that he's getting done are terrible. But I wish that Chuck Schumer had half the fucking. Yeah. I tickle mind that that Mitch McConnell does. And I don't think it gets set enough, and I'm apologies to Amy Schumer. But fuck Chuck Schumer like, and I think, that's the brilliant. I mean, the the beautiful thing about this like new renaissance of Nancy Pelosi that we're seeing right now. And I'm not a huge. I'm not one hundred people behind her all the time standing her. Yeah. Yeah. Weaning her, but she's making Chuck Schumer looked like a real fucking derp. Well, it's like she. She's like doing basic political show, which is like do what works, and guess what works is like, I mean, you know, for a long time we'll worked enough for her was sort of like the centrist kind of thing. But guess what that it was no longer working for her voters? So I think to the thing about the difference between Nancy, and Chuck is that I think Nancy for all her faults is someone who was able to lead from behind when she was not when she was minority leader. And and and the fact is I think a lot of Schumer's defenders are like, well, there's you know, he's minority leader we don't have the numbers in the Senate. It's not his fault that he appoint like, let fifteen fucking judicial appointments through. So that, you know, senators could go home during the recess to compaign before the midterms. But the fact is is like if you can't lead from behind, then you're not a good leader eat out, you know, like he's not trying he's doing nothing and it's so frustrating, and I can go on you place. Two more minutes. Because we are. We are employing a, you know, a parliamentary technique of filibustering because we don't know what we're talking about right now. That all I have. I have two minutes on Nancy Pelosi's beautiful wine country estate that I just drove by the other day. Really? Yeah. It's beautiful like optically..

The liquids are like it's never preemptive in any way. You gotta be. I mean, please tell me you're pre check. I also fly three to four times. I got scammed into joining clear. How dare you win? This place goes Handmaid's tale, you want them to know your retina, you're in Saint cleared. You have to stand your retina, let Gatica my fingers. Sometimes I is literally I did it in a panic because I was late to the airport once and now I'm just in the system in delta. I am. Delta medallion member? Oh, thank you. Oh, y'all are the type of on our level. Yeah. I'm saying, but yeah. And then it's now it's free. And so I don't have to go. I I will. I think I'm actually I'm about to do some a bunch of internationals to this you. So I'm going to do global entry on top of O global entry is the shit. I know we're off on a tangent. But just a PSA for global entry because if you want to come back and not stand in that long as customs line that is the way it's I go, we are the one person. This is why. Why give give the gift of your retinas? No, no fingerprints. I think the thing about the shutdown is that ultimately, I think for Trump as like the like sort of self proclaimed chaos candidate like this is exactly what a lot of his base because the thing the thing is is should is getting done. Mitch McConnell is in the fucking Senate updating judges historic level of federal judges have been appointed. And we can and this is actually a great segue into our next topic. But the fact is is that this is not getting talked about enough. Obama was not aggressive in terms of appointing judges in the way that Trump has been appointed eighty four lifetime appointments more than any other president or history where five minute like and that any that will affect the makeup of the judiciary four generations say goodbye to citizens like overturning citizens United gerrymandering at all. We are. So fucked. Away by this president because here's the thing as we moved to the fucking transparent. Is that like executive orders won't go away when we win. Yeah. Yeah. But a lot of this nonsense stuff that can be reversed with another executive order. But the fact is he is completely changed the makeup of the courts in our country in a way that we will not be able to dig ourselves out of this whole like straight up law enforcement, unless we're like just in court packing judge impeaching mode for the subsequent, I know five. I guess we kind of like up the number of supreme court judges. I'm and I'm not smart enough to know what that entails. I've heard it tweeted about. Yeah. And but I mean, it's it's gonna easily easily have looked this up beforehand. But that's not. Show. Listen, the how it works fish. This is your well. If you want the facts to NPR, right listen to pod, save America. If you want to hear white people with facts, we are people of color with opinion show eight fuck with. But it does thinking actually.
