"They're all different religions and we came together and we're hugging and educating each other and decided that we had to start from community movements You know just grassroots how to take care of each other so we don't go to the hospital We need to start things like that where we can have places where we can get information from other get vitamin how to stay healthy What to do to stay out of the hospital. We should start those right away. Also the children are at risk because of the schools I don't know people really understand this but right now. The schools have the authority to give your child at injection called vaccine. If they're eleven or twelve years age or up without the parent's consent they also have the right to hide the evidence from the parents. Meaning lie to you that you that. They gave the shot. To the child this is actually written into as a mandate in the united states. So this is quite frightening that your child. It's called implied consent. Also the world health organization is behind. This the cdc backs this up as well. But if there's there's the child is in school you've gave school and implied consent to give your child injection on my goodness We have to also know that the world health organization has said this from the very beginning in all the countries around the world including here. The us that if your child or you or anybody in your family is a threat to public health. They could go to your home. They go to the school or your workplace and take you away from the rest of your family. They could take you somewhere. Maybe it's a camp. Maybe it's a re education center who knows for an indefinite amount of time. There's no timeframe when they would be gone. This is so frightening. I've been warning people. And i'm afraid they would start at this year Because they're saying is you heard. It was biden in his press conference. He said that he will. Supply supply the national guards in the schools. If needed. this is military inner schools. Why do we need that. In our schools. He would supply the national guard to the hospitals. Wait a minute actually. Some of the hospitals here have the national guard. Why why do they need them. We're not getting answers. That's very frightening to me. They also said they're going to put nurses and some check goes say some testing stations and some of the The schools so now you have a nurse naive. It's testing station. And you have military to me. That smells like the world health organization or the united nations might try to pull that trick they just told you about. They might try to inject your child without you being there and as a child refuses. Well then there's a threat to public health. We need to take them somewhere so they don't infect the others. I have to tell you this harsh information because this has been on my mind and my heart for so long. And i'm warning people but i feel like they'll do it this year and we can't let them have the opportunity to take her children away from us so i really tell people think about pulling your child children out of the public schools and let's start some community based schools for fear. We're facing a very real evil and we have to stop it. We have to protect ourselves..

"Less After the second dose so you can still have two doses of the vaccine and still be unvaccinated. Believe it or not as long as it's less than two weeks after the second dose. This is quite unbelievable. I never heard that before So this is how they're getting away with and they're also putting the word unknown unknown as not unvaccinated. That's another term altogether. That's something they're doing a lot here in georgia. Unknown is just oh. We didn't ask them. Of course they ask them So unknown is a way of getting away with Putting anybody as unvaccinated regardless of their status regardless of long. They've had their second shot so we have to watch out that that's happening as well as unbelievable really is Dr kerry monday was is who we're talking to and I i gotta ask you this. We going back to the protocol I watched a video from a young lady. She's a talk coast and it was on rumble. You may have seen it. Who said that. She saved her husband. got him out of the icu. After three and a half days He was diagnosed with kobe. They wanted to fall or call the protocol by putting him on the ventilator. She would not allow her husband to be put on the vent thank goodness and instead demanded that they put him on a vitamin c. Drip and a intraveneous vitamin d three and some other things that one part of their protocol and he got healthy and got out of there But they were very upset because they kept saying. This is not part of the protocol. And so this this young lady this talk host katie. I believe is her name. She said it's not cova. That's killing people in the icu. It's the protocol. Yeah one hundred. Percents of protocol This is never how we would treat Patients in the past we don't jump to the To the ventilators to intimating them. This is crazy. They're refusing antibiotics. Let's not even go to the vitamins. Antibiotics commonplace so we're seeing a outbreak of something called Atypical pneumonia or walking pneumonia. Also things like michael plasma pneumonia the bacteria that causes that. I'm seeing that widespread in many states. i do a lot of telemedicine and people are showing up with those symptoms. They need an antibiotic and they will not give it to them. This is quite crazy. Also i've noticed in many these ers. They don't give them steroids. Well if you have a very Bad case of asthma. Let's say of course you need steroids. You need the inhalers or the nebulizer treatments. And they're refusing even the nebulizer treatment..

"Well yes now. They're actually diagnosing. Everybody with cova did something. So for instance Somebody talked to me about the had a family member that had heart attack and they would list it and diagnose it as a covert heart attack and pneumonia. Which is really a bacterial pneumonia. They said it was kovin pneumonia. It everything's cove something else so they could put that cova name on the diagnosis and now they get much more money now. These are made up diagnoses. We don't have these medicine. We've never studied them and they're not being treated the same way. You'd normally treat a normal heart attack so this is very concerning and part of what people need to know is that artificial intelligence programs are taking over the hospitals. They're slowly doing this And what that means is every time you go into a hospital. There is an electronic medical record system. Those are the computers they take in your intake. And and then you you get a computerized report. Well what it's doing is they have A self learning program affecting other These programs are being introduced. And they're taking in your age. Your co mercedes were insurance and also looking at other things including a chest x ray. So the chest x ray is. Ai program reads on the people. And it can tell it says if you have covert or not which is impossible because this is the art of medicine where you have to take a lot of variables and have differential diagnosis. So anyway the if this ai program says your copay for the chest x ray. You're put on the protocol the pathway the doctor or the nurse practitioner or the pa. They're supposed to follow the computer. It gives you a number called a deterioration index and if they don't follow that number of that protocol they could be fired on the spot. This is happening in florida. This is happening in texas now starting to be introduced in georgia. And it'll go to all the states quite soon. They do admit that it's not a very good program. Obviously because people have been dying. But that's okay because of the cell phone system and eventually you'll get better so they're looking at us as commodities or you know a dollar sign and what is our worst to society so this is quite a terrible system that that is very concerning Wanna wanna ask you about what they call as you say the.

"I i apologize. I apologize to you even though i had nothing to do with this decision. But i can't help but think how you must be feeling as you lost your brothers and sisters in arms in this war torn nation and twenty years later. We're right back where we started with the taliban in charge and control this hamble. Combo fell yesterday Jen psaki is just sending out one of those. You know generated responses as spokesperson for the biden administration. Saying hey i'm on vacation from august fifteen through the twenty second. And what are we getting from president biden at this point in time well other than the requisite finger pointing the blame game. Oh it's president trump's fault oh it's the afghani fighters fought well. Let me ask you this as a military member. And i'm speaking to you whether you're active or or you're a veteran. How would you respond. If you are fighting for a nation that no longer exists and by that i mean what what would happen if you were fighting for the united states and all of a sudden your president and your vice president and said nope we're out of here thrown in the towel. Getting the heck out of dodge was exactly what happened over the weekend. I mean it comes as no surprise that everything fell apart. And i can't help but think about the psychological effect of the us pooling out and they're saying wait a minute. You made us promises..

"Of our day sponsors as well because the support that we see for preps throughout the community around northern colorado. Indeed in greeley beyond is absolutely stunning. Yeah no doubt about it. Wanna thank one of our great degree. West sponsors bagley bagley family dental the dental organization here in town. So so yeah. You're right gail. I mean it's about talking about the sponsors about them jumping. We could not do anything. "But more to the point clark. I hope you had a great weekend. I know broncos country is pretty damn happy and mica. Kilpatrick is not the only one that saying. We're going to the super bowl okay. Let's hope miss up with some comedy relief. That's yeah had a great weekend. My chargers one thirteen to six. So everything's right in football land. Now see outlines out when they when they play for real so yeah. I've got to tell you hear. Ryan kelly's our producer and we opened with yellow every morning on a good day. He is a direct copy of jeff. Lynne it when the hair the hair the beard is right and then he throws the sunglasses on. forget it. it's jeff lynne. But that makes us happy. Camp does make us happy. Thirteen thirteen teams tonight. Greeley west as we start our second week. It's day number. Six out of the thirteen great first week boy really heavy patriot league in the first week. Then we got of course the loveland red wolves with her new name on friday and we start out with greeley west the spartans jason runoff in his ninth year coaching. This team. They want to draw a line for the kovic year. This is a program that in two years ago in two thousand nineteen they went nine and three two thousand seventeen the alright and four two thousand fifteen the or eight and three so. They've had great campaigns with off last year. Oh and five of young team coming back so i don't even know where to begin with this team. This'll be gail. This'll be one of those. When we get out to the field tonight between five and six we really start to learn. What greeley west has ahead of them so Young team almost no experience coming back. So we're gonna be starting from scratch tonight out there. I think a little youth and enthusiasm. We won't go to age cynicism which is the other part you know it's it. I think that could work in their favor even though they're young team i can't help but think they're raring to go. Yeah sometimes you need to get it. If it's a program that's got a longer drought. Then i think the young guys you know just kinda starting over is a good thing but it seems like this program every other year has a really good year and then the cupboard goes a little bit dry so we'll see what they get very tough conference. I mean the likes of broomfield silver creek. Of course windsor. Who's always good and the erie tigers. Silver creek i mean..

"Specialists for suicide education and support services and north range behavioral health. Now taylor i had referenced the fact that Youth suicide is claiming far too many lives across colorado indeed around the nation but again it is an uncomfortable conversation to have some parents feel as though well if i bring it up. I might be putting planting a seed in my child's mind but that's not the case. No that is definitely not the case That's actually a myth that we talk about energy. Pr training There's actually no empirical evidence when that when you do bring up suicide that you're going to put the thought of suicide in someone's mind so it's actually really good to have those conversations of hey are you suicidal and it actually can really help in. Open the door especially for parents of teenagers in the pandemic right now. I seen their lives have just been totally uprooted and it's especially so hard for them. They've lost so many of their friends with having to go to online school and issues. We need to support our teams as much as we can right now so asking those questions of what. Can i do to get you some help. And even if you're not suicidal right now how can we prevent this from happening in the future like let's to therapists. Let's make sure that we have this open door of communication. We want to prevent as many youth death by suicide as we can so we just wanna make sure that parents are having those conversations and in twenty nineteen. We had just en- well county ten young people die by suicide and we don't want to ever have that many again. So we wanna make sure that that number just keeps decreasing and the best way to do. That is to broach a very uncomfortable conversation. Logan one to ask you. Now you've got some Suicide prevention activities coming up at north range behavioral health through your component of this suicide education and support services. What are those so in kammer. September suicide awareness and prevention month. And we as department on. We actually are also part of a coalition. That's called imagine zero weld county Where we work together with welcome businesses and community members towards suicide prevention so in partnership with imagine zero north range. We're going to be putting on an array of events Qpr trainings and activities. Throughout the month and the best way for people to find information about what the month of september looks like. It's at checkout. The north range behavioral health facebook page. And then the imagine zero weld county facebook pages well We're really kind to take a perspective of you know talking about our mental health and talking about suicide prevention but doing it in more of an unconventional way. We're gonna do a yoga in the park. For example and really emphasizing. Our physical health and mental health are equally as important and so just taking some different avenues to still get that conversation in the topic of suicide prevention out in community just a reminder that it's okay not to be okay particularly after the past eighteen months but what's not okay is to try to go it alone along those lines. Lug how do we reach out to you and to a taylor and to well all of the wonderful services that north range behavioral health.

"You show that they have a lot of signs and symptoms and we're gonna talk about getting them help so it's actually really cool to see how a lot of these trainings really helped people and i really love doing these trainings. And they're really great resource for here in weld county especially and logan a component of the conversation whenever we're talking about two suicide suicide prevention is always the stigma that surrounds mental health. I mean we go to the doctor if we're not feeling well or if we need you know if we have a broken leg and we need to get a cast but unfortunately when it comes to mental health. We tend to withdraw. Perhaps when we shouldn't yeah absolutely. I think a big part of it in a big part of what we pushed so much. Our program is to kind of normalize the conversation you know we all sit here and talk about and take care of our physical health but we really need to normalize also taking care of our mental health And making ourselves a priority in fact We also really try to push this in our trainings of like checking in on your friends checking on your loved ones and having those tough conversations and sometimes because of the stigma of mental health. It's an uncomfortable conversation to have but sometimes a very short conversation as well. Because you say how you doing no really. How are you doing with all this. After all that we've been through with cova nineteen and you got a very short abrupt answer. Fine but mine is not where the compensation should end right right. Absolutely i think really just normalizing you know like hey we all have our own mental struggles in battle and it's okay And it's okay to have those conversations to do something about it. I think that can really shift shits the perspective and the change about talking about our health. Eight sixteen now northern colorado's voice one. Oh three one thirteen ten. "The auto collisions specialist studios. Yeah it's been a tough eighteen months and unfortunately with the reemergence or the emergence. I should say this rather well. Aggressive delta variants when it comes to cove at nineteen our hopes for a return to normal in some ways have been dashed necess- we're seeing masking requirements Pop up again and of course Even for people that have been vaccinated against cope. Nineteen we're seeing a number of events throughout the state Being cancelled once again because of fears of the spread of this a delta covert nineteen variant and the list goes on and on. Even those who have returned to work are now saying well. How long are we going to continue to be working. Needless to say this has been a time of high anxiety uncertainty and unmitigated stress as a result. Many of turn to less than healthy ways of coping with all that stress we've seen a spike and alcohol and drug abuse in road rage. We're seeing it in the skies air rage but sadly we've also seen an increase in suicide not only at least from a youth perspective not only across colorado but indeed around the nation joined this morning by two great folks from north range behavioral health logan shah who has program coordinator for north ranges suicide education and support services. And taylor romero. Who was the community. Outreach specialist once again for suicide education and support services logan taylor welcome to the show around the morning. Thanks for having us. Good morning gail. Thank you for having a you bet. So it's been. I mean to say it's been a tough road to hoe for so many would be seriously Just underestimating the impact that covert nineteen has had on so many of us on such a variety of levels and while suicide is a tough subject to talk about. It's one that really needs to be talked about this as we're looking ahead to suicide prevention awareness month in september. But it's conversation particularly with our youth. You know i came across this piece in colorado and where it well. It didn't mince words saying that suicide is the leading cause of death for use in colorado and that is just so tragic so logan tell us a little bit about the suicide education and support services at north range behavioral health and why for parents or friends teachers. Why this conversation is so vitally important to have. Yeah absolutely So our program at north range really focuses on Suicide prevention training and teaching people showing people how to have these conversations with their loved ones or their coworkers or their students. We offer a few different trainings. One of our big ones is called. Qpr which is questioned persuade refer and this training really just gives individuals the tools to kind of help. You can listen and be there for people but you also need to know where to send someone or help If that comes about another big part of the suicide education support services program is we provide Post-convention support groups though to england that has lost someone to suicide We provide kind of a sense of community present and in group for them to get together me and talk about those feelings and thoughts and feel like they're not alone in their grieving process taylor as community outreach specialist for the suicide education and support services and north range behavioral health. Tell us a little bit about your experiences on the front line so yes. I actually work in our crisis center for three years before i actually moved to this Position as a community outreach specialist. So i was actually one of the boots on the ground people But as a community outreach specialist. I am the one that does all of these qpr trainings. All of these. Different safe team trainings..

The question is how to do that via the 25th amendment or impeachment. If there are no President Trump, this would not have happened plain and simple. The fish stinks from the head. Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, also, wife of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, resigned, saying she was deeply troubled by the events of the capital. The other secretary is Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, who says there is no mistaking the impact the president's rhetoric had on the situation. Trump's supporters stormed the capital on the day Congress was in the process of certifying the electoral college votes. Several hours passed before the president in a video asked the protesters to go home. Under the 25th amendment, the president can be removed from office of the vice president and majority of the Cabinet agree he is unfit to carry out his duties. Talks are going on, but it appears unlikely Mike Pence will pursue this path. The list of Illinois lawmakers, Senators Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth's have joined the course and support of such a move. Congressman Brad Schneider of the 10th district says 13 days the time Trump has left in office is enough time for more damage to be done. We need a continuity of government. That is something that is critical for the operation of our country. And what we've seen over the last several days. Is the president refusing that do his job inciting the violence You saw yesterday you're showing on the screen now on Speaker Nancy Pelosi accuses Trump of committing an unspeakable assault on the nation, she says of the vice president and Cabinet. Don't invoke the 25th amendment. The House may move forward with impeachment back to you. President Trump released a video calling for the country to come together and saying there will be a peaceful transition. Eric Run has more from Capitol Hill..

Trump acknowledges election defeat in video on Capitol violence

"Trump for the first time acknowledged a new administration would take over on January 20th in a video released by the White House tonight. And he condemned what happened at the Capitol yesterday. I'd like to begin by addressing the heinous attack on the United States Capitol. Like all Americans, I am outraged by the violence, Lawlessness and mayhem. Correspondent Stephen Portnoy presidents on camera acknowledgment that his term is in fact ending comes as calls intensify for Mr Trump to be removed from office or resign. Conservative editorial Board of the Wall Street Journal says Mr Trump declined for far too long to call off the riotous crowd at the Capitol and that he then hedged his plea with election complaint. Those actions, the Journal says, crossed a constitutional line that amount to an impeachable offense. The writers say the cleanest solution now would be for Mr Trump to take personal responsibility. And show himself out. CBS News has learned that law enforcement is working on the possibility of more riots leading up to President elect Joe Bynes Inauguration in 13 Days,

Pelosi and Schumer call for Trump's removal from office

"Well for the first time since the protests took over the U. S. Capitol yesterday, President Trump has released a video and he is conceding in the election. Saying they'll be a peaceful transfer of power. We must get on with the business of America. My campaign vigorously pursued every legal avenue to contest the election results. My only goal was to ensure the integrity of the vote In so doing, I was fighting to defend American democracy. It comes as many members of Congress, including Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and three members of Congress and San Diego are calling for the president to be removed from office, either with the 25th amendment or through impeachment, Congressman Mike 11. Praising Vice President Mike Pence for carrying out his constitutional duty and counting the electoral college votes late last night. And now he wants the vice president to invoke the 25th amendment to remove President Trump from office. I do think that there is a great danger being presented by this president at the present time if he is not seen as capable of even having a social media account. Without getting up violence. I don't think he should be responsible for the nation's nuclear codes or have access to the nuclear codes and things of that nature. 11 is joined by Scott Peters and calling for the 25th amendments and Sarah Jacobs as well, who's calling for impeachment or the 25th amendments to be used as the president continues for the next 13 days in office. He continued by saying, if that option doesn't work than impeachment is also on the table. Adding, even though Trump will leave office soon. It is important that those responsible for the riots are held accountable as they took an oath to protect the constitution, not stopping there. Congresswoman Jacob says Law enforcement also needs to be held accountable for what happened at the capital. We need an investigation into how it was how it happened, how protesters were allowed into the Capitol complex and into the building. And why there was such a difference in response from the peaceful protests over the summer to what we saw in terms of security yesterday, Jacobs knows there's a lot of work to do to heal the division. But she's confident she can be a part of a new generation of national leaders. Zachary Barnes Kogo news

Pence announces Biden's victory after Congress completes electoral count

"President Elect Joe Biden's electoral victory was confirmed by Vice President Mike Pence on members of Congress and the three o'clock hour around 3 30 this morning one of the latest headlines President Trump issuing a statement just a couple of hours ago on the electoral certification through dance caveat. No, because the president is you just heard has been Temporarily, anyway, banned from Twitter that ban actually said to expire shortly. Here's the quote from the president, even though I totally disagree with the outcome of the election, and the facts bear me out. Nevertheless, there will be an orderly transition on January 20th. I've always said we would continue to fight to ensure that only legal votes were counted well. This represents the end of the greatest first term in presidential history. It's only the beginning. Our fight to make America great again. This memory serves me. I don't know if you're there, Rory. But this to me would be the first time the president has admitted that he is going to be leaving office and 13 days at noon on

COVID-19 cases surge across US

"That. Let's talk about the latest on these numbers and the surge across the country as we bring in Wi OD National Court. Spawned that Michael Bauer. You could follow him on Twitter at the Bower show. Good morning, Michael. Good morning, Maddie. Yeah, I hadn't thought about the making fun of Dr Fauci part, but I definitely member the Pearl clutching that one time when we crested that 100,000 Day mark, and now we have added a million cases just over the past week alone. And if you do the math on that, just 13 days of over 100,000 new cases a day will simply add that up very easily. So that's where we are. Yesterday. We crested 133,000 new coronavirus cases. We're now up to 11/11 million cases in this country and that last million coming over the past week. This is an alarming acceleration and spread. Yeah, we're seeing I mean, look, it's the spread is everywhere. It's not you have used to be. We go. Hey, Manny, where the hot spots in this country? No, no, The country is the hot spot. Yeah, There's no question about it. You're starting to see some. Even North Dakota, whose governor, throughout this entire thing has refused to order mass mandate has now ordered a mask mandate. Ask people to wear the mask everywhere indoors and you're certain you're starting to see other restrictions. The city of Chicago, the state Of Michigan and elsewhere because it is literally spreading uncontrollably and much of the country. You got 70,000 people in U. S hospitals being treated for severe cases of covert 19 Let that sink in 70,000 people in U. S hospitals being treated. That's more than we've ever had going back even to win. This thing kicked off in March more so when we had that when we had the Sunbelt States infections That's the kind of numbers we're looking at here. The overwhelming hospitals is going on right now, right under our noses. We're trying to figure out who the next president is going to be or what the lawsuit that the president has filed is going to look like There are overwhelming hospital bed scenes. There are numbers of in some cases hospital losing 30% of their staff to Cove It like literally having them either have to quarantine or they're in ICU right now. Not doing well because they have caught Cove in 19 those of the kinds of overwhelming numbers we're looking about, and that's the key here. 38 different states reporting more than 1000 new cases on Saturday. And this surge is deadly. That's the big thing here. We haven't seen those death numbers climb just yet. But that's not the way the pacing works. Pacing goes infection than you have hospitalizations. Then you have the death numbers coming through and we're hearing Zero from the federal government. We're hearing zero from the coronavirus task force that President Trump set up. We're hearing it's been five months or more. Since President Trump has been a part of any of those meetings, which is why Michigan Washington The state of Washington, laid out a slew of new rules prohibiting indoor social gatherings and dining. We're seeing that in places like New York, Connecticut, Minnesota and New Jersey. They've all got curfews and play. New Mexico banned in person services for non essential workers. Maryland ordered restaurants to reduce indoor dining by 50% in Oregon is just saying we're cutting out restaurant dining altogether. We're putting it on pause with all of this. That's because we're not hearing anything, and the country is looking at this states are looking at this watching their numbers grown going. We've got to do something, and we're hearing absolutely nothing on the higher level right now. Yeah, yeah. I mean, it seemed like a lifetime ago that President Trump said that he declared himself a wartime president because the country was at war against this virus. I guess he got tired of because he hasn't met with his generals or anybody else. You also remember a lot of people saying this whole thing this this pandemic this corona virus thing on November 4th. It was going to be over the media wasn't going to talk about it anymore. It wasn't going to exist. Nobody was going to get sick. Turns out that wasn't true, either. Well, and there was a part of that. That seems like a pretty self fulfilling prophecy from President Trump like and on November 4. They're going to stop talking about it because all we're gonna talk about it in the election because all we're going to care about is what states did somebody win and where the lawsuits coming from, So I guess, theoretically, that's true. And while that's all happening The numbers are growing exponentially, and that the health experts are very concerned that Dr Fauci said yesterday that when you start to look at what's going on here, the fact that President elect Joe Biden's transition team is not getting any information on national security or coronavirus cases. We're gonna have a massive gap here before anything gets an opportunity. To be done even before you get to look at a possible vaccine being on the market on some level those air very large cases that could become overwhelming. We could get up to 200,000 cases a day 250. What's the number? That's going to shock Americans into thinking they should wear masks and socially distance Because so far the policy of play has been. Hey, we trust the American people to do what they need to do. If they feel that they need to be safe and wear a mask, they'll do it. How's that working out for us? That's not going particularly well right now. So until something comes from the higher ups and work its way down, and then works in unison with what states are seeing because of tests, and they're seeing a rise in positivity here, there where they can kind of shut down little areas of the state and go into quarantine. That's when we get control over it. Right now. We are so far from control that the light from control take 10,000 years to reach in, and you're starting to see where we're going backwards. I mean that you're starting to see now what is that? Wal Mart is now star. Eating the count customers coming into their stores. That's a national mandate like company. Now you're seeing other stores, Costco has changed their mass policy. Everyone has. First of all. Costco had this policy that if you had health problems, you could wear a face shield. It's been proven that there's no health problem that would preclude you from wearing a mask. To begin with. It's a good 117 days now, since World Health Organization declared this thing a pandemic. You remember that second Thursday in March? We're all of a sudden you walked into the grocery store. There's no toilet paper. There's no lice off 117 days we've been dealing with and every single expert tells us you know we can control this. If we just do the little things where the mass wash your hands stay socially mistaken 1170.2 countries that have done exactly that that have seen that taken control and in the meantime, we're in 36 states now that have mandated the wearing a face masks in public. That should and probably will grow. But what's going to have to happen between then and now? That's the big question. And what is something like if you've got 36, which is clearly the majority of states that are calling for that mask mandate? What happened if you had the whole country in the masked man it What would that theoretically do to us other than possibly slow this thing down a little bit? Keep the economy like that's it? Yeah. Michael, I was a pleasure. We will talk tomorrow morning, sir. You gotta stay safe.

Biden edges closer to projected electoral victory

"Of state, the Great State of Michigan Secretary. Of state. Jocelyn Benson, Madam secretary. Welcome back. Good morning. I'm good. I'm inclined to say Other than that, Mrs Lincoln. How did you enjoy the play expression? 48 hours. The mitten. What do we do about that? I I understand the effort. We've all talked about the effort to get more people involved, make voting easier. It's after etcetera, but When do we know if we've gone too far, making it easy for people to vote and sometimes vote repeatedly or vote on behalf of dead people with Chicago became famous for We don't want to be famous for that in Michigan. How do we control this so that we don't have the end result that we're now experiencing. Really look at the facts in the data. I mean, the bottom line is here in Michigan. Every valid vote will count and only valid votes will count. And we've got plenty of kick your protocols in place to make sure that that happens in fact, now after the first tabulation has been complete, really in Michigan, we're going to see Continue You updated upload of information at the county in statewide levels, But that tabulation is done. And now boards of the county and state level comprised of people from both parties will review the procedures and counts of the entire election before the results are certified officials So we've Got a lot of checks and balances built in the process for good reason into really insure. People can have faith in the results of the election, regardless of how they go there. There's the lawsuit. Of course, there are a few of them now happening in Michigan, Georgia, Pennsylvania. Where else? I'm not sure. But there'll be others. I'm sure With his suit, which was filed, according to Beth LeBlanc, in this morning's Detroit News, filed in Michigan's Court of Claims wants Michigan's count stopped quote until meaningful access has been granted to observe the process. I've been getting notes and letters from people who are saying that they tried to enter TCF Center and volunteer is a poll worker in any capacity needed, but they were saying that no one except the press they believe security and attorneys We're allowed entry. And and they also went on to say that when they tried when GOP members tried to challenge all of a sudden, the people said, Wait a minute. It's a 6 ft. Covert rule. You've got to get away from me. But they weren't doing that to everybody. And, of course, if you're wearing a mask, it's not the legal answer there about the coded the 6 ft. And how in the world can you challenge or observe if you can't get within 6 Ft. Of somebody doing the counting? Procedures in place for challengers all across the state has been well established a uniform all across the state. And you know, we issued directive prior to the election on that to protect everyone's health and safety, but also ensure that the ability to observe the process within place on DH, So I've said repeatedly word a moment here where we knew and always have known there would be attempts to sow seeds of doubt in the process in the integrity of our process on DH if people were unhappy with the results of the election So that is a lot of what we're seeing here, But I stand by our work. I stand by the voters. I stand by the hard work of our election administrators, which has been very transparent from the beginning, and you know any conversations through litigation, otherwise in the days ahead, are simply just going to continue to reveal that truth. I'm very confident in that on so I hope everyone will simply just look at the facts in the data and accurate information moving forward and recognized that we're still in a moment where people are going to try to spread Misinformation is a way to undermine the truth on DH. Really? What What occurred in Michigan is a reflection of the will of the voters. Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson with us on the pole over you, Smith, Sho W Jr and I guess another question I had was when they sue. Are they suing you? Are they suing the secretary of State's office or or or what? Yeah, People have have sued the state for various reasons. This is you know, as you mentioned, it's not just Michigan. This is unfortunately the escalation of the election litigation. Process has been really increased exponentially over the past election season on so we're you know, the attorney general in our office have been working together, took and make sure that we follow the law. We follow our secure protocols. We ensure transparency and all the rest. That's just important to me. Period on you. No way worked to ensure every ballot. Bout with counted by a pair of election workers, one from each majority party to prevent any political bias. So, ah, and a number of other secure protocols that were part of the reason why we took some time to ensure the account went smoothly and accurately. It's a bottom line, in my view is the public interest of the results of the election or an accurate reflection of the well of the people and I do hope that people respect that. However, we still got lots of Checks and balances in the processes I mentioned that will continue to review the procedures and counts just as we do in every election before they're sort of find official on network continues in the 13 days ahead, 12 now if

"Here's a bit of an empowering realization. If you're a supplier used to got thirteen days left so really timely post this morning linking from a guy called Michael Macmillan now. Michael is is with Chatsworth and Haig who do luxury bespoke linens and a lot of what they're doing is embroidered linens. And what he was saying. Is that this. Time of year is great for a lot of clients. It's because I get a chance to put something into two thousand nine thousand nine hundred budget and then they get a head start on two thousand twenty assuming of course that your financial year is running from January to December NBA. And it's a really timely point because I think a lot of supplies of kind of already written off the they figured if people have placed an order now they probably not going to but but the reality is for a lot of this is a great time to actually hit us up close orders. Because maybe we've had a really good year and we've got a little bit of excess money to burn this year so we want to try and get a head start on next year by putting it into two thousand nine hundred budget now or maybe we've had a really bad year in the years of right off financially anyway and and so we might as well take a bit of an extra heat now to get a head start on next year or maybe we've just got a little bit excess in the budget. We not really made it but again it gives us a head start on next year so these next thirteen days for a lot of businesses are critical. You WanNa get those orders in if you WANNA get those invoices out to them before before the thirty first of December vacant and get the ordering now they can stick it even. If it's delivered next year it can be something. That's prepaid in advance. Potentially so I think about whether you have an opportunity now to heat up some of your clients and site of them listen two thousand nineteen almost done. You've still got a few days left to I get it into this year's budget so that you get a head start on next year's results so it's a really really timely reminder my point is get those invoices the issued before the thirty first. And that's the key doesn't really matter when you deliver the products necessarily for a lot of people a lot of clients on this side of the equation. It's about making sure we have invoices issued before the thirty first of December or early. Thanks to Michael for that little shoutout to. I think it was a really really great point that that is for today. I do thank you for your time and I will be back again tomorrow your things..
