So here's him clarify something for me, please. So that was butter, right? Right. Okay. That's the number one song of this summer. Yes, this summer, So we kind of were doing two things that we're doing The top 10 all time summer songs. That was yesterday. That was yesterday. Do we get to number one yesterday? Are we still doing? Yeah, we do. We did. Yeah, You don't remember Now. What song was it? Oh, Rick Astley. Never going to get No, No. Are you sure? But please do that again. Not at all These things just come out. The number one song is, um, er of all time, alright, based on sales based on the gather some sort of formula, right? But this year, it's butter. Yeah, by BTS. Yeah, I guess. You know. Yeah, I'm just saying he just He just likes to mention that it's and he's not here to mention. So I'm mentioning for him. You know, that's how we worked. In fact, he emailed me and said, Hey, if you talk about butter, will you remind people that idea that's with them and he did with, uh, But the group Yeah. Kate, Chris and Megan. I'd love to continue on talking about this, but really, you do need to let me get to whether that is my job, and I'd like to do it from time to time. High pressure is in control. Now keep might listen. Nothing is new. If you've been with us at all this week, I really have been saying the same thing that there's anything wrong with that. But I'm just saying there's not much change in the forecast. We still have high pressure. It still dominates. It does move around. It goes in through Arizona, and then it goes into Utah. Then it goes into New Mexico, and it does that because it's just natural that it would do that is it kind of moves in to fill in empty airspace. That's how this works with higher and lower pressure. But as it moves, it changes things that may add a couple degrees. It made decreased a couple degrees. It may pull into some of that monsoon moisture. And through Arizona and pull it in and all of that is happening. So it's moving, bringing us a little bit of a warm up through our inland valleys. It'll move again tonight and through tomorrow, then it will start bringing some moisture and bring the chance of thunderstorms to the mountains and desert sets tomorrow. Then it moves by the weekend that will open the door for a little bit more of a sea breeze. There's a modest cool down and then it really should become less of an influence. Next week, we'll get back to some lower pressure. Back to some morning clouds back to cooler weather. So hang in there for that in the Orange County, looking at lower nineties upper nineties to the foothill areas next week, there is a cool down as we mentioned for everybody. "These days. We're all working really, really hard to make money. And sometimes you got to take on that side Hustle. It's real 97.1 watch that. Then we're Toby and chilly in the morning, and it seems One of our own has a new side hustle idea. Producer Kayla always finds these things on the Internet. What is it now that we can do to make a little extra bank now, I don't know if it works. I'm trying it out today because we all get spam calls like 30 a day and apparently by reporting the spam calls you can make between 300 to $1500 per reports. Uh, Yeah, right. So I found these instructions on Twitter. This is why I'm trying it out for hers. Basically, you just put yourself on the do not call us. You wait for a spam caller to call you and you kind of, you know, go with the flow for a little bit to get the business. I put quota of business information. And then once you get like their email in the name of the company, you send them a letter saying, Hey, I am reporting you guys so they do not call dot com dot gov. Whatever. And then they'll normally respond with, Please don't because that would be a huge fine. We'll pay you X amount of dollars to not do that. Boom. That sounds like a lot of emails does have a lot of hoops black. It's little blackmailing. Uh, but it is a lot of loops. I I agree with you will be my head hurts. Yeah, There's a lot you had me at. Step one. I can report some stand callers, lakes and make $100 came on. Stay with me. Okay. Okay. Put your number on the do not call which we've already kind of done Already. People have them wait for the spam caller get talked to them about for five minutes. Just Get a little info. Once you get that info, you're going to send them a letter that you already prepared just copy and paste it and saying, Hey, I'm going to report you guys. This is illegal, and then they're going to try to say no, Please don't do this. Here's some money and then you move on with the rest of your day. You know what it is. It's playing their game and being at it, You know, it's like, so listen, person did say it takes about 20 minutes, So it's not like Super quick. Okay, well, you try it. You're right. You're right. You go ahead. And maybe we'll think twice as Do you roll in here with some Louis Vitton bags and stuff. I mean, if I see you in some low, Bhutan's and also a step by step on the website, please. "Cairo radio here for what's next. Welcome back to Cairo Nights. Labor Day special on the line right now is a man who should have been playing college football, but decided not to because he was. Why didn't you play college football? Billy, You're basically built for it. I wasn't built for it back then. Okay, A young man. I was tall, but, you know, skinny and I would have preferred playing basketball. But Mr Clumsy white boy. Yeah, not a lot of Jews on the on the basketball court there, Billy. Not a lot of not a lot, not Yeah, Macca's and, you know, have a nagila is out there on the basketball. I think you're right about that. Not enough, But you know, there's not that many really tall Jews in the world were a rarity. Well, you and your brother Billy, I mean, you and big chuck gorse, and I got to be the tallest Jews that ever lived. I mean, you guys are the Gollum Jews, Right? I mean, you. You guys go. You know all the words check. You're doing a great job. I didn't know better. I would think Jack Stein might be a June Well, you're a bad influence. Me, Billy. That's what it is. I think it's so funny, by the way. Believe that, um, you know, uh, I always try to mention the people I'm always like, you know. Jack Stein, friend of the Jews. Jack Stein's friend and mentor Billy Sunshine about as Jewish as Jewish gets, even though he doesn't like it doesn't like saying it. Billy, I think you're actually really quite proud of your Judaism, despite the fact that you resented deeply No, actually, I'm very proud of my Judaism. It's just God. I don't have any. I don't care for well. Speaking of God, Billy Sunshine President Joe Biden, his his poll numbers are like really, really down over the weekend. Looks like he's down to about 40 to 42% in some polls out here. A couple of Couple polls taken and and one of the other things I saw over the weekend. Billy is this clip from people at football games over the weekend, all over the country, just a lot of people chanting and chanting and chanting! F Joe Biden over and over and over again. Yeah, Burn over happened. Yeah. Many, many I'm looking at. Let me see how much it happened in more than one football game. 12345 separate football games all broke out. Tell me how that happens. I was thinking about this from a sociological standpoint, Billy because you know me. I like to take things from different angles. But I think what happens is that you have a small cadre of people who begin chanting off phrase. It could have been anything. They could have been talking about cheese ways. They could have been talking about anything out there that they find upsetting. And then it slowly grows. Because according to the numbers, Billy, you know something about 50% of people. Didn't vote for Joe Biden. Right? So there's enough people out there to have it become a social contender and spread out and that's why it has happened again. I'm going to ask you. How exactly does it start at all these different football games this week? You don't sort of see a plan here. Oh, you think this is organic? Very good, Mr Sunshine. No, I don't think it is in the same way that when, um So you ever you ever hear about this, Billy? They're right that people want to join. There's enough people who were upset with him. Having a joint in wants somebody you know, starts that kind of thing. Absolutely. I agree. Thing that I think I think that people forget about Do you remember Billy back in 2015? 2016? Do you remember those people that were coming out the people who are going to trump rallies? And they were saying someone from the Trump campaign paid me 50 bucks to show up and to start chanting the very beginning. That was only really let me Billy, let me get this story out before you button. Okay? There were people out there who were paid money to show up to the trump rallies at the very beginning,.

Um if You stipulate your beneficiaries and you can change and every day they take president over that will Sure absolutely. Beneficiaries always take precedence over the will. And everybody should know that entitle Lane trumps everything. So in other words, if I put an account in joint name With me and my girlfriend. Let's say and I put my Children is my beneficiary. Well, my girlfriend gets the account because titling trumps everything might if there is no joint person. Then beneficiary trumps the will. And only then, if there's no joint person, there's no beneficiary. Only then does the will step in. But I will say one thing Janet about a code to sell. I'm not a fan of Koda cells because they can easily get filed up Misrepresented. Lost not attached to the will properly if you're going to do a change of your will. I like just a whole completely new. Straightforward. Well, and they probably charge almost as much, um, to do the whole will, anyway, So I like I like a clean, simple, well, no code of cells. I don't like revocable trust where they have amendment 12345 and six It drives me crazy, You know? So I hear what you're saying. But be careful of doing too many coded cells. "It didn't so now it's like we're now in us in another chapter of Hey, there's some good young pieces in place like middle stat. And, well, you mentioned somebody beyond that against very small sample sizes. Cousins writes a line and asp lend, you know? Look at the defense in that came up. I mean, not that he's like young young, but Borgen got playing time Samuelsson came up. Those pieces. There's some promise to see their Jeremy, but that was supposed to happen a few years ago. Now there should have been better young pieces playing in the NHL and having success right now, along with Your cornerstone pieces like Michael and Darlene. Along with the big trade you got for the goalscoring winger and Jeff Skinner. All that stuff was supposed to have come together. We're not supposed to be sitting here in 2021. Going backwards and saying it's okay if they trade I trade Eichel because there are some good young pieces in place for the next step for the franchise, and now they're going to add to the roster or build to the roster with whatever pieces come back for Michael for Reinhart and You know, whatever else they decide to do this off season. Yeah. If you're him. You're mean Anaheim is l A. That might be nice. Yeah, but I mean, you know, look at look at where they were like you were going through their ages. Right the way If someone read off the names and the ages of the players, you'd say, Well, clearly, you know, the ducks were just Trying to go for it one more time, right? You know, they I wanted to check their record totals to see I mean, they had 12345. They had five straight 100 points seasons plus Now, So you keep the team together. You've moved off some of those young pieces. You moved off men to Mont or you move What Vatanen was traded. They moved some of the pieces on the roster. But I mean, the last three years you like we're still going for it. The windows still open 80 points. 67 in the shortened season and 43 this other shortened season. I mean, they've fallen to the bottom of the league in recent years while not necessarily going. Yeah, it's time to they moved on from Corey Perry. Like how many guys did they really look at the older guys and go? Yeah, Whatever. We've had our run Corey Perry and Corey Perry. Still, he's playing well, Yeah, that's right. A little bit like they. It's they operated like the window is still there. They didn't perform in that fashion then and three years later. What's left? Yeah, What's left to do for them? I guess his room. Maybe they think they can. You know, that's why they would trade for Eichel with all the 30. Plus is you add the franchise center and whatever else they're going to do, and they feel maybe they can still get another kick somewhat of a kick at the can out of that, But they haven't even been close the last few years. "To be paid one through nine, and the remaining funds be paid out in your 10. Many commentators believe the iris it's simply made a mistake. And that's how it turned out to be the case. In a subsequent revision dated May 13th The service made clear that annual rmds aren't required under the 10 year rule. After all. So the 10 year rule is like the old five. You can take out all your money in your 12345. Well, what could be really cool as you wait till the 10th year you get nine years of tax regrowth. But let's say one year you lose your job or one year you don't have as much money. That would be a great year to take the distribution from a loved one. Because it's not tax free. So the I. R s may have cleared up that mess. But they may have created a new one. The IRS has said that the five year payout Ends on December 31st. Of the year. Following the fifth anniversary of death, most assume that the 10 year period would be applied the same way. Indeed, one of the most recent publications confirms that that's publication 5 90 B. You could go to IRS dot gov and check it out. But two paragraphs later, the Iris says that the ending date of the 10 year period is different when the beneficiary risk receiving stretch payment stars or when a minor child receiving stretch payments. Reaches the age of majority. That's really do, too. There are some rules. If you're a minor, minor child and you inherit it, and they'll probably release further clarification on that. That's confusing, and they usually do. So Also there is a beneficiary planning loophole. That has closed with the passage of the Secure act. Once common IRA beneficiary planning strategies have been upended. For example, no longer can just anyone stretch payments of an inherited IRA. You must qualify as an e, d b or necks. Eligible Designated beneficiary to stretch using your single life expectancy. PDBs includes surviving spouses. Minor Children, and this is where I think once they reach age of majority, they won't have that benefit, disabled and chronically ill individuals and individuals not more than 10 years younger So you get to still stretch the IRA. All other living breathing. Irate beneficiaries will now use the 10 year rule. There are no annual rmds during the 10 year window, but the account must be emptied by the 10th year after death. So if you have questions on this arm, the role we're going to talk more about a break it down. But first we're gonna go to Ursula. Who's calling us at 803 2107 10. Ursula, you're on with Josh Dolinsky, the financial quarterback. Thank you for taking my call. I just have a question of my husband and I bought an apartment of condominium in Southampton. About 48 years ago, and we bought it for $76,000 at the time. They are now selling between one million and 1 to 1,000,003. And my question is this, um My friend who also owns this, uh, same apartment wants to sell it below one million because she keeps telling me that that is a million nest tax. Can use answer that question. Is that federally or state? Is she referring to Uh, well, state I live in New Jersey. The property is in New York. So, um Well, there is a mansion tax. The millionaires tax in New Jersey does apply. But what could you get the value for too many people make Avoiding taxes. The goal when it should be to get the most. You, can I? Yeah, I mean, I know I could roll it over in another property or you know, but I 84 years old. I don't want to do that. So I will have to pay the capital gains. Whatever they are. I was told by my accountant to be as aggressive as I can be with ride off, But of course I have to prove them. And I just then heard this, you know, tell her telling me sell it under a million. So you don't have to pay a millionaire stocks. But what is your What is the property worth? If you sold it today is that were in 1.2 millionaires at like one point of Three or, you know, it's at one point Oh, five. They're selling between 1.1 and 1.2 million. Okay, so I would just sell it for what it's worth. And okay, I mean, I forget exactly what the I gotta look to something. You know there is a New Jersey mansion tax. I don't know if it applies. We have a lot of accountants who listen to the show. I'm not sure if it applies to Properties you sell outside of the state of New Jersey. Um, and there is some type of mansion tax. I'm aware of what you're talking about. But, you know, let's say it's 10% will 10% of 200 grand is 20 grand. So why would you take a 200 I don't know. $1000 pay cut on on on the sale. The other thing you could do is 10 31 Exchange it. Or you could keep the property. And after you pass It will be inherited with a step up in basis unless the Biden administration changes that I see. Yeah. So I would also get.

"I think this is that That's been a good path to go, but they're just not aligning. And I wonder. If this is also an attempt to push a little bit further, Tol really emphasize. Kevin Adams attempt tow try to make a move here almost not necessarily force him because the saber still kind of control the situation. But you know if Michael's camp remains adamant that they want to go in that direction Then, to me, it's a pretty big sign that there's just the lack of trust from the organization, coupled with Him, probably preferring to move out, even though according to Adams, he hasn't officially aspirate trade. Do you think that whatever the sabers do this offseason, it all hinges on what they'd elect to do with Jack. I feel like if they You know what? Their offseason plans? Does it? Start with a decision on Jack. I color Do you? Do you believe that? Ah Jack Eichel decision can kind of be pushed down the road while other moves air happening with the organization. Yeah, I don't think it's priority number one. Um, I think it's tough toe categorize and list. What's 12345? I think they're all kind of jumbled together. Because I think they want to figure out what to do with Seattle and how to go about this. Can they find a way to free up money? Not just cracking are going to take on Jeff Skinner's deal, but I'm very curious to see if they try to finagle something with Seattle with respect to college, post those deal on his money. If they can figure something out there, then it gives them a lot more flexibility throughout this offseason, not just navigating through trade. Trying to piece of team together for next season and on gives him more money and more flexibility from it from a trade market perspective in the free agency market perspective. Then there's risk aligning with one year left on his deal. There's Sam Reinhart, who's in Rs say both of those guys made it clear that they don't want to go through another rebuild process. So all of this kind of jumbled together. Aziz. Part of what the priority is for the sabers moving forward if they find the right opportunity. Tomo Haps Trade Sam Reinhart ahead of Going out expansion draft figuring out a deal for Michael, for example, that I think they go in that direction. Whatever kind.

"Of our Lord and savior. Jesus Christ. So growing in grace means we grow in what's in the Bible. We understand divine viewpoint as opposed to the evil of human viewpoint. And there's a lot of evil in the world today. Human viewpoint thinking And you may know it as socialism. Progressive ideology communism. But that's not what the word of God teaches. The word of God teaches faith alone in Christ alone, and the Christian life is so much greater than all these other human ideas to equality. Grace protection that God gives you is available to you as you transmit his word. We're told in Ephesians 6 11 put on the full armor of God so you can take a stand against the devil's schemes. He has a strategy for you to defeat you. Get you discouraged. Put you on the sidelines. And the Bible goes on to say in Ephesians 6 12 because we don't struggle against flesh and blood. We don't struggle against that. We struggle against rulers and against the authorities against the powers of the dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in heavenly places. Because of this verse 13 chapter six of Ephesians put on the complete Armor of God so that when the day of evil comes to you, you can keep standing your ground and after you've done everything keeps standing. And then the challenge stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around your waist. Stand firm with the breastplate of righteousness and place stand firm with your feet fitted with a readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. And in addition to all of this, take up the shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one and take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. There's so many problems solving devices in their faith. Rest rail is in there and take up the shield of faith. There. It is. Breastplate of righteousness. That's the righteousness of Christ Given to you, it's salvation. Unbelievable. Helen of Salvation, Eternal security, the sort of spirit the word of God. There it is for you. This is your grace protection in the devil's world. You live in the devil's world. You live in the middle of the angelic conflict. And if you ever intend to be a grace transmitter, let me assure you You were wade into the conflict. A K A. The Devil will not sit silently by and let you become a transmitter of the grace of God. Beginning with the information concerning Christ, Jesus. There's another provision that God may excuse me. That's to have a well qualified pastor. This changed my life. Once I found a well qualified pastor, they could teach me the Bible and not play games with me. Then I began to grow. And so if agents for 11 through 17 Christ himself gave apostles, some profits, some of Angelus and some pastor teachers Equipped his people for the work of the service so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity. In the faith. Unity is a big word. Today I see it written everywhere. Unity. The unity that we're talking about his unity in the faith. Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and his finished work on the cross. When we become believers in Christ, we become members of the royal family of God, and we're all equal in God's eyes. Equal privilege. Equal opportunity. You have the privilege to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you have the opportunity to become a winner Believer in time. And you have the opportunity to become a loser in time, but not learning the word of God not paying attention to your spiritual life. Lining up in heaven. Yes, With eternal yet life? Yes. Not hearing any well done. My good and faithful servant. So we are to reach unity in the faith and the knowledge of the son of God and become mature. Tour believers pertaining to the whole measure. The fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants. Ephesians 4, 14 says no longer tossed around by the waves and blown here and there about every wind of teaching that comes up. Cunning and craftiness of men who are deceitful in their schemes. Instead speaking the truth and love, Paul said. We grow to become in every aspect. Material body of Christ, Jesus, Who's the head? That's Christ and from him. The whole body is then join together and held together by every supporting ligament. And it grows and build yourself up and love is each part of it does his work That's a metaphor for the human body and comparing it to the family of God in Christ, Jesus. There's two critical thought processes we have to learn. Without learning these things we can never be grace transmitters. You and I must orient our lives to divine viewpoint, which is called doctrinal orientation. This problem. Some advice 12345. And we must learn to operate under the concept of grace orientation. Which is problem solving device number four. So we have rebound Number one filling in the Holy Spirit number two. The faith.

"Um Then they beat the charges by 10. They beat the 40 Niners by 10, and they beat the Steelers by 11. So that's 12345 games in a row where they have the one hell, Mary. That's that's mixing there, which turned it into a loss. But if that hail Mary doesn't happen, they would have won that game by five. And then they would have beaten that five number against the Seahawks, the Chargers, the 40 Niners and Steelers. Um, you know those teams other than the Chargers are all clearly better than the Denver Denver in the charge, probably in that same plane of existence. Right? So I think the way they're playing Way Josh Allen is playing. Denver is not an easy when you know they're They're They're not, You know, disaster of a team or anything but Buffalo. Significantly better. I like the way they're rolling. Give me the pills, minus five in that matchup. I'll take the Ravens minus 12 over the Jaguars. The Jaguars legitimately bad The Ravens have not been great this season. In fact, they've been You know, far below. I think what what many people expected, but they had a big win. Thea other night, they kind of win that can be galvanizing for a team Lamar Jackson with maybe the defining moment of his his career, so When you come and have that kind of game and you win in that thrilling fashion and your team that plays better from in front and then all of a sudden you get a tomato can in the next weekend in Jacksonville, who just got obliterated by Tennessee last week. Ah, and you know only has one win on the season. I just like that is a perfect follow up for Baltimore of perfect encore for Baltimore. If they were going to get their season back on track back in the direction that that people thought they might be at the beginning of the year. This is a perfect on ramp for that. So give me the Ravens minus 12 over the Jaguars. Take the Rams minus 17.5 over the Jets, the Rams. That's a big number for them. They're not exactly explosive. Offensively. Jared Goff is really one of the biggest wild cards in the NFL. I think he plays well enough the ransom of Super Bowl contender. He doesn't They aren't but the Jets are abysmal and The Rams defense is great. You know, I've been more impressed Just by the I don't have the numbers in front of you by the eye test from the Rams defense and what they've done to opposing teams opposing offenses opposing cubes and given who they're facing, given the opponent and how inept their offenses of two of the last three weeks they've scored three points. Yeah, There you go. Prices enough. In the end.

They'll all give their expert opinions on what will happen on Tuesday. Herschel Walker Herschel Walker? Yes, Little Cowboys as well. But I kind of gave everyone the assignment on Friday and I was I was going through it on yesterday. The assignment was to kind of go through the electoral map. They determine, you know, what do you think will happen on Tuesday? And I I ran like four different models before I can became Comfortable with one, Okay? And would you come up with? I'll tell you in the seven clock out, Okay, I'm gonna hang on to it. But I mean so, but all of us here at the station did that, so we'll have our reports coming to you. Seven. We want everyone to be on record. As to what we think is gonna happen tomorrow. Election day. What We do know how are the polls are tightening. Oh, and I guess that shouldn't surprise anyone. But we're starting to see numbers getting closer and closer. The I b d T i p p pole. Which was fairly accurate in 2016. It had Hillary Clinton Clinton winning but it only had our winning by 1% point. We have seen a reduction in it from 5.6 for Joe Biden to 4.8. For Joe Biden. In the margin of error is 3.23 point. Yeah, I think it's an 1100 person. But if I still feel like that they will all come to the margin of error so they can all say we weren't wrong. You're always very easily could. I mean they're trying to save their careers at this point to Yeah. I mean, I could see that happening. The real clear politics average still hands it about 51 44. Biden over Ah Trump. Yeah, on the aggregate of them, Write the mall and add them all together. So if you look in Florida right now, Susquehanna has the president of one ABC News Washington Post has the president up to This is the state of Florida. Rasmussen Has Biden up one. Here is The Pittsburgh Post Gazette yesterday Endorse the president. First Republican president to endorse a Republican candidate for president. 40. Plus years. Is that right? Yes. Post post, cause they did you see the rally? Butler P. Ay, just outside of Pittsburgh yesterday. Huge, huge, huge eye. I saw a couple of stories over the weekend. Basically, I couldn't tell if it was an opinion on T opinion pieces on TV, and they were said, Basically, you have to win Pennsylvania when the presidency That's what the state that's what it's gonna come down to. It's going, okay. Could I should I should say it could state can't decide the present? Well, it's not that it decides it. How you know how the electoral college works. It's not one state deciding and it's that the others are divvied up and you've got to get to 2 70. So what's the closest battle? You know what? Where's the tightest race? How many do they have in Pennsylvania? Is that 30 pretty. It's a pretty good chunk. Of Ah, I'm gonna have to go back and look I should have known ever meant. Seems like it was 35 or something like that. Yeah, Something like that. I could be wrong. Ah, actually 2020. Okay, So you got 20 in one state alone? Yes. But, you know, Texas has more than that. You know that California has more than that. Yeah, it's not about that. It's not about the number. It's about the fact that all the others are going to be divided up. The other question I have for you is I think it's a very important question. What if this particular election? What if the elect electorate doesn't vote the way the people did. More than you would have canned. Very few states allow that to happen. You know, very few states allow the rogue. Eah, electoral. They were worried that that was gonna happen in 2016, and it is and it didn't happen. We've got AH, We actually have an expert coming on How it's 6 35 this morning to talk about those same sorts of things. Ryan Castanza, political strategist in the CEO of Beast Digital. And we're going to talk through kind of a civics lesson for all of us, asshole. What? Two Los Angeles sheriff's deputies shot in 'ambush'

"In Los Angeles on Saturday night. So that would be maybe either late Saturday night, our time or early Sunday morning, so none of this was in the Sunday newspapers, but because of the timing There were two police officers. They're actually sheriff's deputies. 31 year old woman who's as a child six years old. I'm not sure if it's a son or a daughter. And a 24 year old man. Both of them have been sworn in 14 months ago. Oh, and they were parked in their marked vehicle. In the marked vehicle. And As a consequence. Being in the marked vehicle and doing nothing. An assailant walked up to the vehicle, Obviously, in an absolute case of premeditation. Ah, and just about seven o'clock Saturday there time, which is 10 o'clock our time. Fired several shots hitting both of these young sheriff deputies. I believe the woman was hit in the jaw in the face and the 24 year old male Always hit in the I believe actually in the forehead. Now, first of all, B. Homicide captain of the LAPD, the Kent Wagner. Cut. 16 described what happened. Excuse me. My mistake. Cut 26. I'm a suspect and played on foot north bound from the shooting scene and out of you. Deputies radio for help. help. Assisting Assisting Assisting units units units from from from the the the district district district responded. responded. responded. And And And transported transported transported both both both those those those deputies deputies deputies here here here to to to ST ST ST Francis Francis Francis Medical Medical Medical Center. Center. Center. the next cut is cut 27. He talks again about the approach by the suspect to the car. He walked along the passenger side of the car. He acted as if he was going to walk past the car, and then he made a left turn directly toward the car raised a pistol. Fired several rounds inside of the vehicle, striking both of the sheriff's deputies. Meanwhile, at the hospital at ST Joseph's Medical Center, the captain Wagner referred to the sheriff of Of Los Angeles County, Alex Villanueva. Talked about the shooting. This is cut 30 rub. At At approximately approximately 7 7 P.m. P.m. this this evening evening at at the the Compton Compton terminal, terminal, the the blue blue line line the the blue blue line, line, there there was was two two deputies deputies who who were were ambushed by a gunman in a cowardly fashion. They're both critically injured multiple gunshot wounds. They're currently being treated for the hospital. So wait. You want everyone to have a prayer for them for their recovery at this time, and, um I'll have Ah, Homicide Captain can wait. We'll provide more details on the status of the investigation is happening right now on this is just a sovereign reminder that this is a dangerous job. the investigation at this point a suspect as of this writing, as of this moment, had mind staying not yet been arrested. Ah, it's kind of a grainy picture of this guy, but they now have $150,000 reward out. And that will loosen up some lips for sure. Now what? You um if you read the globe today, To remain in critical condition after attack in California, Biden Trump condemned Ambush of deputies that's fine. They go through the story, which you've just heard. Okay. Ah, and then in the final 12345 paragraphs of the AP story, not the AP Story out of Washington Post story written by Felisha sudden Mez and Hannah Knowles. Police and protestors tactics drew scrutiny after demonstrations formed outside ST Francis Medical Center with the deputies received treatment. They were on the operating table. Their lives were were hanging in the balance. The deputies received treatment. Aye. Go on, then to talk about Josie Helaine reported for public radio Station. Kpcc, a national public radio affiliate, said on Twitter that she had been covering the sheriff's news conference. When she returned to the hospital she was wearing her press pass, She said Hawaiian tweeted that she began walking behind deputies who were following a small group of protesters. I was filming an arrest. She works in a radio. She's filming an arrest when suddenly deputies show back up Within seconds I was getting shoved around. The editor of the station, Megan Garvey, expressed outrage outrage over this arrest. She was arrested and actually released. So you might say. Okay, that's interesting. What with the tactics that drew scrutiny after the demonstrations formed outside ST Francis Medical Center. We'll let me share them with you. Some individuals who claim to be black lives. Activists showed up. At the hospital. Now the families are being rushed to the hospital. Obviously police, other police officers of going there as I'm sure you know, in a situation like this trying to get through to you. To donate blood, for example. Well, my understanding is that the black the veal and activists Uh, that's a pretty nasty things to say about the officers. Let's go to cut 11 1st Rob! Got your black families care board prize African Town coalition. We're out here at ST Francis Hospital, where Tio America's most notorious gang members have been brought to We're going to go up here and just check on Ah, these murderers right here and see what's that? Let's see what's up. They're going to go check on the murderer, the murderers of the police officers who have just who have just almost been assassinated. Come 13. This gets a little Ah, raunchy, but you'll get you'll get the drift. This is again the activists outside the hospital. These two officers, a 31 year old woman. And a 24 year old man. Young man have been this but it's the this an attempted murders attempted double murder cut 13 Rob! Going, people. So it gets worse. The black Ah lives matter. Activists actually tried to enter the hospital. Okay? No, The police are essentially trying to get family members in to see the loved ones who could be dying. And there was one Young, Ah black woman. Who was the security person? At the door. Who stopped this horde of thugs from literally invading the hospital. She should get some sort of an honor for the guts and the courage that she showed this is cut 12 rub. We're down here. The same Francis Hospital were down. They were down here to visit someone. You can go visit Nobody. You can once we confirm, but there's no visitation allowed anyway, so you gotta go. All right. You see what's happening right here, right. Got it. These pigs out here. They're telling us that we cannot come in here and see these individuals who have been shot down train station. So what? Okay, This is a public that probably has no problem. That young woman. Whoever she is, basically stood down a crowd. They're going to go visit. Yeah, they're going to go visit. Finally there's a priest at the hospital who came out and talked about what is going on Cut 31 rub. Describe for me what the protesters were chanting. What were they saying? Well, they were saying death to the police killed killed the police and this our sheriff's, but the message is still the same. And they were using all type of curse words and and derogatory terms about the police just just provoking our police officers unacceptable behavior because the hospital should be a sanctuary where way should leave hospital alone. Tensions are high since two deputies are inside. Did you see the negatives make swift action. And he said that the protesters trying to get inside the emergency room? Yes. Unbelievable. Un believable and then we have the radio reporter. Remember The Washington Post article in the Globe today they refer. Police and protestors tactics drew scrutiny after demonstrations formed outside ST Francis Medical Center with the deputies received treatment. That's it. The Washington Post had no interest in describing what had happened. And then you had this nut job radio reporter who, as the police had trying to clear the area. She's trying to interfere with the police. This is cut 41 40 to rub cut 41. Back up. It continues. Hearing cut 42 here. Just what the police needed in that situation, have another distraction and the executive a editor of this radio station, so called NPR radio station. KPCC, or public radio National Public Radio affiliate. Expressed outrage over the arrest of the reporter. No outrage, though, over what the demonstrators tried to do to enter the hospital as these police officers Life lives hung in the balance. This one doesn't really outraged you that I don't know what does this is this's as as bad as it gets. I don't care who you are or what you think if you don't condemn this action by those literally, vigilantes, we're going to go visit these people in the hospital. Oh, yeah. They were in the operating room. Feel free. Just go in and say hello. I'm sure that they'd love to see you. And by the way, we'll clear the doctor's out of there. So maybe You can finish him off
