Really excited to learn about Maya Spirits and the great work they're doing. Thanks for being here. Yes, thank you for the invitation. I really appreciate it. Yeah, of course, of course. So I was connected with Maya Spirits through the latest Gitcoin grants round. I saw that you're participating in that, was really interested in your work, so I'm glad we have a chance to chat about the great work they're doing in Mexico using Web3 tools to really do some really cool regenerative work. So before we dive into that, though, I want to hear about your story of how you got into this world of Web3. So what would you say if you could kind of look back? Was your aha moment, that kind of one moment that sticks out that got you really excited about Web3 technology? I think it was, I was very early into Ethereum in 2018, 2019. Then from there, I got into Web3 through a few NFT projects, and I noticed that the values and the intent of many things were not in the right place. So where I grew up was in Cancun, which is in the south of Mexico near the beach. And growing up, I managed to see a very big difference in a lot of economic situations around the city, and I had the idea of utilizing this technology for effective and transparent ways of raising funds in a creative way where we can also reward those who contribute for a good cause.

What Is Life Without Taking Some Risks?
"Is life without taking some risks? I mean, if you own a business and you want to be an entrepreneurial entrepreneur, uh, you have got to realize there is risk involved. It's not, there's nothing easy about it. And talking about John D Rockefeller again, he said, if you chase money, you'll never catch it. And I've heard Larry Burkett years and years ago, when he was still around, he said, if you're chasing money, you will chase it forever. If you're starting a business just to make more money, go work for someone else. Fact go work for someone else. That is not a good reason only to start a business, starting a business and doing all these things. Typically, if you do them right, the by -product is making more money. And I also have learned and agree totally with, not just learned because when I read it, I go, that's me, that's me. I am motivated. I am not motivated by just making money. Just having money does not motivate me. What motivates me as did John D Rockefeller was just the next deal, winning the next deal, winning the next sale what's next. That's what motivates me. And yes, again, the by -product of that is when you win, you make more money. And that's great, but it's always the next thing. It's always, what can I do next to win? That's what motivates me. And that's what motivates a lot of other entrepreneurs. So that's kind of the reward. So the risk and reward today's risk relate to market and economic trends and finances and technology and new ways to serve customers faster to encourage growth. You have probably mitigated risk and leveraged size and stayed and flexible all those types of things. And you've researched outside of the box options. How can we serve our customers better? How can we serve our team better? You've researched all these things are outside the box. They're not normal. And they're not what the normal small business does. It's different. Again, that's also what motivates me is just being different and just trying new things and it's risk. Everything's a risk when you're in business and you're trying to grow and you're making things happen and you're wanting to be different than everyone else. Everything is a risk. Some pay off well, some don't. Some win, some lose. That's just part of

You Are BETTER Than You THINK!
"Some of the top answers for starting a business are this. Number one, freedom and flexibility. You know, do you have that? Do you have that in your business? If you and a lot of times we take that for granted, for sure. But if you have freedom and flexibility in your business, you are blessed, you're able to manage your time, you're able to manage a lot of times as you get going in business, and you've been going for a while, you're able to manage your income level much more than you could do if you work for someone else, you're able to business, you have the freedom by managing your finances well, to remain flexible. And in your outside the box thinking, so you are better than you think you are. We also, number two, we create something new. Why do you want to start your own business? I worked for other companies, I don't want to be like them. I learned what not to do. I want to create something new. If you've done that, and you've lasted a while, you are in the top 10 to 20 % of all small businesses. So congratulations, you are better than you think. This means you've businesses that are no longer around. They couldn't deal with failure. They couldn't deal with mistakes. They didn't know how to correct them. They didn't know how to, you know, keep chugging along and keep making things happen. You did. That's why you're still here. You've dealt with a lot of change. If you're in that 10 to 20%, you've dealt with a lot of change. You've either created change, you've adapted to change. Sometimes change is not our idea. Change is always great if it is our idea, right? But sometimes change is not our idea. I mean, things change in our industry that we have to adapt to and we have to make it work. In my world, if it's a refrigerant change or a code change, we have to adapt to those things and we have to just keep working through it. And if you can't do that, you're not going to be around long. We also have to create how to improve serving others better. And we started a business. Most of us have started a business from scratch. Either bought a business, took over a business, acquired a business. But many of you have started a business from scratch with nothing. It is now a viable business. It has a heartbeat. It provides many jobs and it serves many people. And a bit like small business, like no other, I mean, the small business today carries America. The majority of our income and finances come from small business. It's an extremely large amount. I don't have the number in front of me, but if I tell you it's something like 88 % small business carries America. So if you've done all those things and you're in that 10 to 20 % group in the United States, you are better than you think. And number three, people start a business for generational wealth. They want better for their family. They want better than from generation to generation. They want better. And I'll stop right there and tell you that I want my next generation to be better than me. I'm okay with that. I'm perfectly okay with that. What does better mean? We could break that down into many different ways. It doesn't necessarily mean having more money, but the byproduct rather of being better probably will create more wealth that that would be a goal. Okay. So if you're considering others over yourself, you will do well generating wealth for future generations. And if you realize there is more to life than material things, and you don't focus on keeping up with other companies, if your eyes aren't always on other companies, what they're doing, how can I do that? And all those types of things. Or if you're not trying to keep up with other people, keep up with the Joneses and have that kind of car and have that kind of house and have those kind of things and do this and do that. If you're not doing that, you'll have more time to focus on the important things. Now, I'm not saying growing your business is not important. It's extremely important. It's the only way you're going to create generational wealth.

It's a little booklet on how to listen to sermons Hey John, I didn't see you come in a Lot of great things back there. So please avail yourself of those resources. I'm not taking any of it home And I don't want to those are to bless you guys so The the topic this weekend is We have an evangelism summit. So in this first session I'm gonna be talking about well, what is evangelism and and why do we evangelize? So for some of you guys these this will be you know some basic stuff for you hopefully there'll be something For you to take away that'll be helpful to you in Adam session He'll be talking about how and when we evangelize and then in a final session today. I'll be talking about What about results? trusting God and evangelism, so I'd like to start out if you have your Bibles with you Turn to Romans chapter 1 Romans chapter 1 We're just gonna read verses 16 and 17 and I'll pray again as we get started Romans chapter 1 verses 16 and 17 Paul under the inspiration the Holy Spirit Gives us the Word of God. He says for I am not ashamed of the gospel For it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes To the Jew first and also the Greek for in it. The righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith as It is written the righteous Shall live by faith Let's pray together Heavenly Father. We do bless your name We thank you Lord God for the gospel the gospel that has redeemed Many of the souls in this room. We pray that the gospel would Be effectual for anyone in this room has not been redeemed yet that they would hear the gospel They would hear about your power to save and that they would have a desire to come to you a desire that only you can Put within them Lord God, but we know that it's Lord I pray for Myself today Lord that I would get out of the way of your word. I pray for my brother Adam Who's such a dear friend to my family that you would help us as we teach from your word? That you would bless these Saints and build them up Equip them Lord for the sharing of the gospel the good news of our Lord Jesus Pray that the things that we would say would be in accordance with your word and anything that We would say that was not would be disregarded please God be our help today in this time in Jesus name. Amen Okay, so so sometimes when you want to define Something or speak on a certain subject. There may be a lot of misconceptions or even false definitions of that subject So therefore, you know when you want to do something like that You have to point out the falsehoods about it and and address The wrong definitions of it. So the first thing we actually talk about today is is what evangelism is not Because there's a lot of things I think out there especially in the evangelical church world That are talked about as if they are evangelism, but they're not actually evangelism. Okay, so inviting people to church That might surprise some someone in here. I don't know I'm not that this is not to say that inviting people to church is a bad thing But for so long in the church world People have this idea that well, we have a pastor and so it's the pastor's job to evangelize. That's another misconception It's every Christians privilege to evangelize But inviting someone to church is not evangelism Although it's a good thing Things like you know, I I did evangelism on a university campus for many years and and still do and so there would be various You know free lemonade stands and free cookie stands and things like that and oftentimes these were Ministries that call themselves Christian ministries that were saying that was their form of evangelism. Just giving away free cookies No talk of Jesus. No literature about Jesus Not giving it away in the name of Jesus while that might be a nice kind, you know Merciful thing to do give someone a cookie. It wouldn't be merciful to give me cookies. I don't need cookies In case anybody, you know had any thoughts about that, but that's a nice thing, but it's not evangelism a really popular Evangelical teacher anybody in here ever heard of Rick Warren Rick Warren, he's got this book in the church. The Lord saved me and we used to call it the Bible light It's called the purpose -driven life Rick Warren got on national television several years ago around this time of year around Easter time and he told people They said if you could give people any message What message would you want the world to hear and he said well, I just tell people to give Jesus a try You know try them out for 40 days And if you don't like what you found then, you know, just throw them back kind of, you know But the Word of God says do not put the Lord to the test Jesus is not someone to be tested. He's someone to be worshipped and adored and followed after Another thing that sometimes gets Confused for evangelism is our personal testimony of our having been saved now Our testimony can be evangelism if it includes the gospel in it but have any of you guys ever heard like one of these testimonies where maybe the Lord saved somebody out of a really rough life and There was way more about sin and the way they were living and everything like that It was hardly really even mention of Jesus or his power or anything like that So if you're going to share your testimony with someone of how God saved you, that's a good thing If you've experienced the power of God for salvation in your life, just make sure that you include the gospel in it Sometimes I've heard testimonies that I wondered if it was actually a Christian testimony Because there was nothing about Jesus in it You know a a or na can turn somebody away from Problems in their life like alcohol and drugs, but it won't necessarily redeem their soul if it's got nothing of Jesus To it the Apostle Paul. I think is a great example. He had several opportunities as he was arrested and imprisoned to Share his testimony of what God did in changing his life In Acts 22 he says I Persecuted the way to death the early Christians were called followers of the way Jesus himself said I am the way the truth in the life Paul continued on he said when when God struck him down on the on the road to Damascus He heard a voice that said I'm Jesus of Nazareth who you are persecuting and then at the end of that Defense that he gives for his ministry. He says the God of our fathers Appointed you to know his will This is what God proclaimed to him to see the righteous one and hear a voice from his mouth for you'll be a witness for Him to every one of what you have seen and heard Okay, so Paul speaks of Jesus in his next defense He says that he speaks of the way again, and he says And it is with respect to this this resurrection of the dead that I'm on trial for you today Well, there weren't people not anybody was just running around claiming to be resurrected from the dead They knew he was speaking of Jesus when he said I'm on trial because I'm out preaching the resurrection from the dead in his third defense before King Agrippa Here's an interesting thing. He says that God made him a messenger to the Gentiles that they should repent and turn to God Performing deeds in keeping with their repentance and the very next verse. This is um 26 acts he says I went and told him to repent and turn to God and and continue repenting and Perform good works and keep her repentance and then he says verse 21 for this reason the Jews seized me in the temple and tried to kill me So he says I told him to repent and they tried to kill me Nowadays, there's a preacher probably a lot of you heard of Steve Lawson Excuse me, he said The problem with preachers today is nobody wants to kill them anymore You know, I mean nowadays if if someone's out preaching usually give a testimony Someone assaulted me or spit on me or maligned me a lot of times people, you know Even within the church will look at you like well, what did you do to bring that on? The Apostle Paul when he first was converted thank you, honey When he first was converted the first place he went and preached in they plotted to kill him and And his friends had to lower him in a basket down the wall a city to get out and escape More things that are not the gospel social work Social justice work or political involvement are not evangelism again. These things may complement evangelism, but they're not evangelism Unless there's the proclamation of the gospel Because evangelism the word comes from the evangel The UN galleon we're going to get to that in a minute even a pop Christian apologetics are not necessarily evangelism if they don't include the gospel anybody ever heard the There's a famous quote from a guy named st. Francis of Assisi. It's a preach the gospel if necessary use words Anybody ever heard that it's pretty famous quote. Well friends brothers sisters You can't preach the gospel without words It's impossible. The gospel is a spoken message about Who Jesus is and what he's done? lastly Another thing that is not evangelism is the results that you see from your evangelistic Efforts are not evangelism themselves one pastor said it this way quote. We don't fail in our evangelism If we faithfully tell the gospel to someone who is not converted we fail only if we don't faithfully tell the gospel at all Evangelism itself isn't converting people. It's telling them that they need to be converted and How they can be all right, so we spent a little time there on what what evangelism is Not now. Let's get to our subject. What is evangelism? All right Proverbs 11 30 says the fruit of the righteous is a tree of life and whoever captures souls is wise So I'm going to give you several Definitions of evangelism the word you are going to lead So is used 52 times in the New Testament and the literal meaning is to bring good news or to announce glad tidings specifically the glad tidings of the coming of the kingdom of God in salvation to be obtained in it through Jesus Christ and the things that relate to this salvation I Wouldn't recommend Google as an information source necessarily, but I decided I would Google Evangelism and I actually like their definition. It is the spreading of the Christian gospel by public preaching or personal witness. I Thought that's pretty good for for Google I wouldn't advocate that like getting much information from them the Baptist faith and message of 2000 I Actually really love their their definition of evangelism. It says this listen as carefully. It's really good It is the duty and privilege of every follower of Christ and of every church of the Lord Jesus Christ to endeavor to make disciples of all nation The new birth of a man's spirit by God's Holy Spirit means the birth of love for others We're going to get to that more later Missionary effort on the part of all rests thus upon the spiritual necessity of the Regenerate life and is expressly and repeatedly commanded in the teachings of Jesus The Lord Jesus Christ has commanded the preaching of the gospel to all nations It is the duty of every child of God to seek constantly to win the loss to Christ by verbal witness Undergirded by a Christian lifestyle and by other methods in harmony with the gospel of Christ. What do you guys think? I thought it was pretty good Pretty good. I really liked it Another definition I found is you can tell the gospel to someone by sharing these several simple truths one Let's always remember this the gospel begins with God and so evangelism should begin with God So the first thing we need to tell people is that God is holy. He's the holy creator of all the universe Especially when we're dealing with a culture now Which is a culture of non -offense a culture that's got like a God who's like a genie in the bottle You know, he's just there when I need something or he's there when I got a problem I rub the little genie bottle and Oh God help me now, but that's not who the God of Scripture is. He's a holy God He created all things he created you and me. The next thing we need to tell them is that they're sinners Who deserve God's righteous eternal wrath and there's nothing wrong with saying I was born in the same boat. You were in We were all born the Bible says in Ephesians 2 by nature children of wrath like the rest of mankind The next thing we need to tell them is after they've heard that God is holy and we're sinful They need to hear about one who wasn't sinful. It's Jesus who's fully God and fully man He lived a sinless life and he died on the cross to bear God's wrath in place of all who would believe in him and he rose from the grave in order to give his people eternal life and Lastly is that the only way to be saved from? Eternal punishment in hell is to be wrecked and be reconciled to God is to repent of your sin and Trust in the work of Jesus for your salvation So evangelism is just basically telling others this basic message All right, so that's what is evangelism probably sounds pretty simple I mean there's I've literally got probably 20 scripture references here that support the Bible Showing an evangelism as a spoken message that you can't preach the gospel without words So I'll list them off for you. If you're taking notes, you can write them down Romans chapter 10 verses 10 through 17 mark 16 15 Colossians 128 Colossians 4 2 through 4 a whole slew of them from Acts acts 2 14 3 11 through 26 chapter 4 verses 5 through 12 chapter 8 verses 4 through 8 chapter 10 verses 34 through 43 chapter 13 verses 16 through 52 on and on and on Ephesians 6 19 and 20 1st Corinthians 1 17 Ezekiel 3 17 through 20 The gospel is a spoken message therefore to to evangelize we must Open our mouths and speak Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of Christ. And how will they hear without someone preaching to them or Proclaiming to them. All right, so That is what evangelism is and I and I want to say to I'm intending for There to be interaction So if you've got a question comment Anything like that, please don't don't be afraid or shy to raise it now next Why do we evangelize So I'm putting that question out there for y 'all And what and when I teach I'll just say this I tell my Sunday school class All the time when I ask a question and everybody just sits there looking at me. I say I'll wait So, why do we evangelize brethren John, Good so people will be saved Jason says because we're commanded to you. Yeah, there's not only one right answer to this question Thank You Hannah to glorify God Yeah for our sanctification Yeah, good all good answers anyone else have it have something they'd like to share Amen amen Praise the Lord you don't hear that in a lot of churches today be a doer of the word not a hearer only Deceiving James yourselves says right like if you're not a doer you're just to hear you're deceived Yeah, praise the Lord, I think those are all all great answers yeah, I would I would say first and foremost Right first Corinthians 10 31 whether you eat or drink or all that you do do for the glory of God So whether it's evangelism or anything else we do I would say the first and primary goal is to glorify God and we know that God is glorified through the proclamation of his Son Yeah, we're commanded to Amen, I mean we look at you know, Matthew and He says all authority in heaven on earth has been given to me therefore go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father Son and Holy Spirit and A lot of times that gets chopped off there, but he actually says in teaching them to obey All the things I've commanded you right, so It's not just to not just to evangelize and leave them there but to make disciples and teach and train those Disciples in Luke he says it in Luke 24 He says that repentance for the forgiveness of sin shall be proclaimed in my name to all nations Acts chapter 1 verse 8 Jesus before he ascends After his resurrection.

The car racing organization's diversity internship program directly lists specific racial requirements for the applicants eligible to join the program, according to the criteria on the website. Under requirements, the website tells applicants that they must be a U.S. citizen or be eligible to work in the U.S. They must have at least reached their sophomore year in college. But those requirements are secondary, as the list also lays out racial requirements as its first bullet point. Applicants must be a member of one or more of the following races, ethnic minority classifications, Black or African-American, American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Latino or Hispanic, Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander, the Web page says. Not listed is Caucasian or White or even European. The racial requirements seem to be blatantly illegal, violation of Title 7 and the 1866 Civil Rights Act, according to David Bernstein, a professor at George Mason University's Antonin Scalia School of Law. Having a 100 percent quota for minorities for a position is illegal under a very generous view of what is allowed, Bernstein told The Daily Wire. The diversity internship is not only the program that NASCSP seems to be excluding white applicants from being eligible to join. The racing organization has similar racial stipulations for its pit crew development program, driver development program and supplier diversity program, all connected to its drive for diversity program. The eligibility section of each website lists the same racial minorities and excludes white people. In fact, the pit crew development program seems to go even further to exclude whites and notes that applicants who identify as two or more races are also eligible, but only if they identify with more than one of the above five races. Apparently a person who identifies as one of the approved five races is still ineligible if their second race is white. So that's not a good race to be running there, NASCSP is unbelievable. How about who can change the four tires the quickest and the best? How about that? What happened to that being the bar? Yep. Now you see what's going on, big D. And that's a wrap in sports. What was that number again? 12.8 million documents. Now, it's the reason I brought this up on Monday, U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkin set a trial date of March 4th, which you mentioned earlier, a date strongly objected to by Trump's legal team, which argued it would take some potentially more time to get familiar with the discovery and ensure the former president is adequately represented. A quarter of the 12.8 million documents are associated with Trump's campaign or political action committees that have supported it and transcripts from the grand jury testimony and accompanying exhibit to make up between five million of the documents and three million documents originated from the Secret Service. But Trump has had had access functionally to about two thirds of the total document. So I did some math here, Damon, and I know you love when I decide to do math. I mean, come on. You were the president. You know what all this is. And hey, by the way, we put on the top of the stack all the important stuff you to look at. How can you not be ready? Come on. Exactly. You know what happened. We're just going to prove it. All right. So if you take just a quote, because they said he's he's got access to roughly two thirds. April 2017, I began my crypto journey. Now I'm on my journey to rebuild the 128 ETH that was stolen from me through a SIM swap attack. And someone responded, This 100%. I was able to get my phone number back by physically verifying my identity at a local store, but I'm still having issues regaining access to my Twitter X account. "With the second largest bank collapse in the United States, Silicon Valley bank, the largest bank to collapse in Washington mutual bank field, several years ago, and then some other bank failures in the wake of the collapse of Silicon Valley bank signature bank, for example, has now been taken over by regulators. There are other banks that are in trouble. And so we have both a policy question and a personal question and the policy question, of course, is what is going on in the banking system, the banking system has relied for a long time on having a small amount of reserves. And banks, of course, take in money from people like you and me. And then they lend that money out. So when you go into a bank, it's not flush with cash. It has some cash in reserve. Enough to typically satisfy depositors who want to make withdrawals, but if everybody wanted to make a withdrawal, the government, the bank wouldn't have the money. Now you can say, well, yeah, but banks are insured by the FDIC. But the problem here is that the FDIC doesn't have the money either. The FDIC has a relatively tiny reserve when you compare it to the vast volume of bank deposits across the country. I've got some numbers here, which are pretty eye opening. Well, here we go. This is the FDIC's deposit insurance fund. It has $128 billion in it. 128 billion is a lot of money, but what is the number to cover all deposits in U.S. banks? Well, that number runs into the trillions. So the FDIC can only address. It's almost like saying I've got the ability to stanch a flat occurring over here and a flood occurring over there, but if a flood breaks out all over the place, then that's not a whole lot we can. We can do.

The focus so on the U.S. equity market steep losses lows of the day right now, the S&P on this jobs Friday down 109 a drop now of 2.9% that I was down 686 of decline there of 2.3% as stacked down 426 and dropped there of 3.85%, ten year yield 3.87%, the two year yield 4.29%. The catalyst for today's selling the jobs report, we have the Dow, the S&P and Ned stack all declining after the labor market stayed strong in September, non farm payrolls up by 263,000 in September, unemployment dropping to three and a half percent. Here's U.S. labor secretary Marty Walsh interviewed today on Bloomberg radio. I don't want people to lose their job, but we need to continue to bring down the flesh rate pressures that people have. Certainly what OPEC made a decision on this week to do was not helpful to us. The president was disappointed with disappointed his administration, but we need to continue to bring down those pressures. I mean, I think that I had a long conversation in my office today. I certainly don't want to see that employment number go up. I like to see people working. Fox Steve Madden former governor Chris Christie You do politics Michael Cohen One thing that I was thinking about when our planning call today is the public opinion polls of president Joe Biden which are not looking great right now according to RealClearPolitics 42.3% when it comes to job approval ratings So not the lowest in his presidency but just off of the lowest And it made me think of an article that editor in chief emeritus Matthew Winkler wrote Back for Bloomberg opinion in December And he took a different metrics about how the economy has been doing GDP profit growth S&P 500 performance non farm payrolls consumer credit and more And he came to the conclusion that America's economy improved more in Joe Biden's first 12 months than any president during the past 50 years notwithstanding the contrary media narrative contributing to dour public opinion From a branding perspective I wanted to get your take on this Because the unemployment rates sub 4% right now the American consumer is doing pretty well Yes inflation is really hot right now But why are the president's job approval ratings so low It's a great question And what's a lot when we talk on morning Joe all the time when MSNBC gets a lot we talk about their autonomic podcast Especially messaging I can give an argument sit here You just rattled off that the economy obviously say you know the last couple of weeks with Ukraine and obviously this is the little fear of inflation But as far as the first year roaring I think it's a couple of things I think Joe Biden himself does not come across as firmly in control He and Joe Biden is a good man and I support him for president but there's something in his delivery that he doesn't feel strong And I think that translates it's hard to see that in polls but I think it's partially his age shows and I don't mean to make an ageist comment saying when he comes across he doesn't know he's looked very firm and very in control with what's going on in Ukraine But up until this point particularly with the Afghanistan that really really hurt him And also the Democrats a lot of them the far progressive there's a lot of woke issues at a constantly discussed And I think that that comes up and hurts him Because most of the country is not living in a super woke universe if you will And so I think all those things contribute to it but I think most of it is the messenger himself I don't think he's come across inspirational And I think there's the substance and there's the sizzle and this sizzle has not been there All right so now I makes me wonder I go back to the Kennedy Nixon debate like take media out of the picture How much that for better or worse we're in media We're all in social linear you name it Different forms But if you take media out of the picture how might that impact political messaging and how we view political candidates Yeah I mean we'd have to go back to another universe you know And I know we can but what do you think about how much that is skewing we talk about it right Messaging how much it can be skewed for better or worse for wrong or right It's everything But the difference now is that the media used to be the media used to be newspapers and 6 o'clock People literally would get their news They get it from the morning newspaper and their 6 o'clock evening news and that was it And the big problem now in media is not the media itself is that everybody gets bespoke media and there's no accountability on social media and whereas they have the people in the world get their news from Facebook now And Facebook if I wanted to run an ad for bleach detergent I would have to go through more stringent regulations to get it on ABC or to get it on Bloomberg than I would have to get it to put it on Facebook or so many other places So the problem is not the proliferation of news itself.

She's so so strategically focused that she's making these decisions where she can allow herself to vote as liberal and Democratic as she wants without completely alienating conservatives and, you know, really increase your chances of continuing to win her statewide races. And I've I've since this from Republicans. Your Republican Emily Ryan Valley political consultant talking with us this morning about Kirsten cinema. I've seen Republicans go from this. You know this grudging this begrudging respect to kind of liking her. Actually, at this point. Am I wrong? No, I think that you're absolutely right. I think part of it is, you know it's not as bad as they thought it was going to be, And I think the other part of it is it's funder. Watch the Democrats head pop off their next when she refuses to toe the party line and acts independently. Yeah, So what's your endgame here? Is it just simply getting reelected? Or is it you know she's planning to stick around for a long time? Or is there something else afoot here? Oh, I think it's all of it. I think it's getting reelected. I think she's going to be a state senator U S senator for a very long time. She's already been a state senator, and I think she most certainly has higher goals. You know, she's just from an early age. Just been an absolute rocket and and really accomplished a lot, and I'm sure she's not done. You know what I also find very interesting. I was talking about this out in the newsroom earlier. It's pride Month. She is the first Openly bisexual U. S senator. She doesn't ever lead with that, though she I mean, that's not where she puts her chin out in front. It's all about policy. It's about doing what's right for Arizona, and I think people um Really respect her for that, right? I think they do respect her for that. You know she's not hiding anything. Um, but she's making it about the work at hand and no distraction, and she just she likes to use the phrase laser focused, and I think she really is. You know, she's laser focused on what she's doing. But she's also she's book, Smart and street smart, and she is able to bob and weave and hold this office in a state where you know it's pretty tough to do with the where voters are split and having such a big group of independence. That's a tough thing to predict which way they'll fall, and she's doing a brilliant job and real quickly. How do you think that meeting went with Biden? Remember, he called her out not by name but called her out a couple of weeks ago, basically saying, You know, she's standing in the way of his progressive agenda. Um, yet he took a one on one meeting with her. Yeah, You know, I would expect I don't know how it went.
