Kathie Lee Gifford Opens up About Being True to Her Faith

"You're here. But I've known you for quite a long time. Yes. And you are a woman of faith, and the thing that I say to people. And I've said this for years, I don't know if I've said this to you publicly, but what I've always felt we needed in the culture and I've always wanted to try to be one of those people. Is a public figure who is openly Christian. And whenever I talk about that, I immediately go to you because I think who has been out there over the years who has just been leading her life as a public figure, not as a Christian figure, but who is nonetheless openly Christian. And I really think that that's kind of the missing piece in the culture because we've divided. We've got the Christian faith over here, and then we've got the rest of the world here. And anybody with common sense knows that's nonsense. Right. But very few people are willing to live that out. You're one of them. In fact, you might be two or three of them. And I want to say thank you. Sweetie. You know, I've always had a boldness about my faith. I've always had an awareness, even a 12 year old girl when I first asked Jesus to be in my heart that the answer right away. Yeah. To who much is given much is required. I was once I started learning scripture. But I was sitting in a little movie theater in Annapolis, Maryland, and God already knew that I wanted to be an actress and a singer and a writer. He knew that I came out of the womb with a rim shot in a prep fall. You know, I mean, people do. And there's a reason for it. God, would everything I am and everything you are, was woven in our mother's wombs into

"And I took a risk. That was the biggest risk for me for what this adaptation was to kill one of my oldest dream, yeah. So it was one of the biggest pressure I had artistically I was saying. I want to ask you a little bit more about Hans score, but before that, it seems like for the most part, since polytechnique, you have upped the stakes and the scale and the scope of your film. So you've had some occasionally you'll make an enemy in a short period of time. But for the most part, it feels bigger and bigger and bigger. Is that a conscious decision? Is it something is an ambition that you have? I don't have a carrier plan, but definitely I like to challenge myself with the project that I know that I can handle that I can technically I know that I have enough technical knowledge to I will have never there to try to bring them to the screen ten years ago. But saying this, I will see that the movies are technically more difficult. But talking about what technique that I will say, that project that you're talking about that I shot, I don't know what 12 years ago or something like that. That was pressure. That was like approaching a real event..

The Incredible True Story of Squanto

"In 1608 before any ships before any people settled in what's now Massachusetts, I never knew this, because we all know that the Mayflower landed there in 1620. Chris, you knew that? I did at one point in my life. Right. So 1620 is when the pilgrims land at Plymouth. Sorry. But I always assumed growing up that that's the first time that anybody came to like what's Massachusetts. But I found out that's not the case. And the story of squanto, which I'm going to tell right now, which just wait, wait till you hear this. It starts in 1608, and it turns out that English trading ships would travel from Europe from England to Iceland, Greenland make their way down Nova Scotia all the way down and they would trade with the natives. Now I never knew that. So the natives were familiar with English sailors coming and trading and giving them knives and pots and pans and they would give them pelts and whatever. And they would trade. I never knew this. Well, in 1608, a group, a group, a ship led by a captain hunt lands or drops anchor off of what is today Plymouth Massachusetts. And the braves come down to the shore to trade with them as they've done before. Well, just so happens that this captain hunt was a bad man, and instead of trading with the braves, they whack them over the head, put them in the long boat, take them out to the ship, throw them in the hold, sail to malaga, Spain and sell them into slavery. This is 1608, one of the braves was a 12 year old. Boy named tisquantum. Now this is true story. This is all documented. I've done the research. Others have done the research. It's true. So he has bought by some kindly friars, who seemed to treat him well. Teach him the Christian religion, and this is the part that we'll never know how this happened. But they arrange for him to be freed and to travel to London. Now imagine from malaga Spain to London. So this is an Indian from what is today Massachusetts, a Native American, a patuxent, makes its way to London with the idea, and this is where it's crazy of getting back across the Atlantic to go back home. I know. It's like being on the moon and saying, so when's the next ship going back? There's no next ship going back. What are you talking about? But I guess the idea was not insane. He worked in London from what is it around 1612, 1613 for four or 5 years with a family called slany. This is all documented. This Indian named squanto to squantum learns the English language. He's there when he's there when Queen Elizabeth is on the throne, we're talking Shakespeare is writing his play. So he's in London. This Massachusetts Indian, and this is years before the pilgrims ever get to Plymouth rock, crazy, right? In 1618, I believe 1619, a ship is found. For him to go back to his home. And he's going to translate obviously because he knows the language. He's going to be on the ship working with these English as they're stopping, you know, and he's going to be doing the translating and so on and so forth. So somehow he gets passage on a ship. The ship ends up having to spend the winter in I can't remember if it was Iceland or Greenland. It's in my book. Where does it say? Newfoundland now, hold on a second. Anyway, the point is that it took them quite a while to get there, right? So they basically, no, it was Newfoundland. Sorry. They spend the winter in Newfoundland. And then the next spring, this is like 1619, they bring him to what's now the coast of Massachusetts drop him off. Thank you very much. Goodbye. This sounds crazy, right? This is document. This is a true story. So a year plus before the pilgrims land. This Indian has made the journey from Plymouth to Spain to London, spans 5 years London, learns the English language, learns the ways the English, and then ends up back where he started. He finds his way on foot to the village, which is right where Plymouth is today, right? Village where his Indian, where his family is, they have all been wiped out. In ten years, he's dreamed about getting home, he's dreamed about returning. He's dreamed for ten years. He's thought in his mind of doing the impossible to get all the way back

"And today I get to talk to the author of a book called the president and the freedom fighter, Abraham Lincoln Frederick Douglass and their battle to save America soul. And the author of the book is someone you may know, named Brian kilmeade, Brian, you look very familiar. Eric, thanks so much for your support over the years. Every time I have a book out, you always say come down to this cathedral. And this place is the nicest studio I've ever seen. Period. Thank you very much. Look, this, I think I told you this. And by the way, people, if you're just tuning in, this guy has been on Fox and Friends for how many years now? 25. Radio show for 13. Well, hold on a second. Did you just say 25? Yeah, I started doing it in junior high. I thought so. Yeah, it was crazy. Playing pop Warner football and they grabbed you. It took me 12 years to be to get to Fox. And then once I got there, I realized how great it was, even though no one had heard of it yet. So when it started, I started filling in as a sports guy, and then it evolved and things started going crazy from the war from the election mess to the war on terror to the Iraq War. First election mess. Failure to a 2000 Chad hanging chads. Yes. So you are the youngest living institution in the country. Seriously, that's amazing 25 years from the beginning. Yeah, I mean, I knew when I walked into that place who was going to be special, they were all about winning. They're all about substance. They're all about getting things done completion oriented. Every time they would be a negative story out, they would put their headline on the wall. I'm like, wow, they're not running for negative stories. They would laugh at being laughed at. These guys, this is like Bill Parcells. And the Giants before they were even 500. Until recently, I'm talking about the build ourselves just 25 years. Good

Eric Describes the Funniest Story From His New Book 'Is Atheism Dead?'

"There are a lot of funny stories in the book. And usually when I do interviews, I don't get to tell these stories. I've got a glance over the top. But you just asked me about one of my favorites. I mean, I can't tell you how much joy I just laugh every time I think about it. But this was the discovery in 1979 of what's called the silver ketef scrolls. And what that means is these are incredibly tiny silver scrolls that were so tiny they were worn as amulets. And they had the priestly blessing the ironic blessing where the priests would say the lord bless you and keep you the lord make his countenance to shine upon you and give you peace. I mean, this holy thing from the scripture of written in silver in really Proto hebraic because this is from 6 50 BC. Anyway, but how was it found? Yes. I, if you read books and archeology, it'll sort of tell you, oh, this was discovered here here by so and so and so and so I was okay. But somehow, in my research, because I have fun doing the research, I discovered this weird backstory. And the more I dug the funnier it became. Yeah. Okay, here's the story. The guy whose last name, oh gosh, what is it? It's Barack. I can never say his name. It's the book here. But anyway, it's not Jacobs. No, it's a 28 year old. It's a 28 year old guy studying archeology in a Tel Aviv, or Jerusalem. So he's a nobody. He's 6 years from his PhD, but he gets this idea in his head that below Saint Andrew's church outside just right at the outset skirts of Jerusalem. There are some old caves and burial caves, whatever. They've all, they looked like they've been excavated. There's nothing there, but he has a hunch that there's more to be found there. But he doesn't have any credibility or anything to get real archeological students to help him. So he has to be really humble and say, you know, I'll take anybody who can help me. Gabriel barques Gabriel bark, I think it's barkai, barkey. He has to go and this is like a joke. So archeology club, 12 and 13 year olds. They volunteer the kids, the kids can help you. So how'd you like 12 and 13 year olds annoying 12 and 13 year olds to help you on this big dig? So they do the dig, they find nothing. He's disappointed, and he says, well, you know what? At least to we've got a photograph, all these chambers, even though we found nothing, there was one kid that was so annoying to this barkai that barkey was like ripping his hair out and he says, I can't take another minute of this annoying 12 year old named Nathan. So here's what I'm going to do. All of these caves need to be photographed. The most distant one or one of the distant ones and over cave 25, he sends Nathan there, and he's really stern with him, like angry, like, hey, I've had enough out of you. I want you to clean that chamber. It's gonna be photographed. I want it to be so clean that your mother could use it as a kitchen. Like you really threatens the kid because this kid was very annoying. So Nathan trundles off to this distant place. And the joy, of course, is that it's far away, and we're not going to hear from this kid for two or three hours while he's doing what we do. But he takes a hammer with them, which is a weird thing, nobody knows. But the kid is so annoying that to go clean the cave, he just happens to hide a hammer on his person. And when he's bored in this sacred chamber, okay? There's nothing there. It's got a stone floor, whatever. He takes the hammer out. Nobody knows this, okay? He's all alone and starts smashing the floor with the hammer. Now this alone, I find it funny. The only reason he's there is because he was so annoying, they sent him as far away as possible. But if he wasn't annoying enough, he had a hammer with him and decides to use the hammer to smash the floor. The board Nathan smashes the floor with the hammer so hard that it cracks. It wasn't supposed to crack. And he finds a hidden chamber. He sticks his hand in the hidden chamber and is dragged into the bowels of hell itself. Just kidding. He puts his hand into hidden chamber and he pulls out some stuff, some like little ceramics. He now is like, hey, this is what I'm here for. I'm not here to clean. I found treasure. So he runs to barkai and tugs on his shirt. He's like, hey hey, look what I found. You could see bark. I could picture his hair standing on end, like what is going on? The annoying kid is back with some ancient treasure. So they run back to the place, barkai sees that, what do you assumed was an empty place was in fact hiding this stuff and the annoying kid was so annoying that he smashed the floor open or whatever. So he sends the kid home and they spend days now excavating the secret whole and they pull out treasure after treasure and the greatest treasure is what we described. And unbelievably tiny silver scroll so delicate that they couldn't unwrap it for three years. They didn't know how to have the technology without destroying it. But they could read the words inscribed in silver. Now if it's inscribed on anything but silver, it doesn't last. So the Dead Sea scrolls, which are amazingly old, they're not this old. This is even older. So this is the first extant writing from the Hebrew scriptures ever discovered thanks to the annoying 12 year old Nathan. He's probably in his mid 50s right now and he doesn't know. And when he's

"I caught up on this, Uh 30 for 30, ESPN special at the 1986 Mets, the World Series team. Jim is a big Mets fan producer, Jim and he had told me this is such a great show. You got to watch it. So I sat down for four hours. I couldn't turn away the 1986 Mets, and it reminds me I was a Yankees fan, not a Mets fan, but I was very happy to Mets won the 1986 World Series. I was a kid and I was I was 12. I mean, you know, I'm not thinking about solving the world's problems at 12 years old. But I was happy for them. My mom was a Mets fan and that stunning World Series victory, of course with the Bill Buckner era and it's a real shame, because you know, Bill Buckner is such a great player and became You know, it's infamous for that one plane he shouldn't have. He was such a great player throughout his career. I mean, it was just right. Jim Buckner was a great hitter. I mean, if phenomenal player and it's really a shame that a lot of people just associated with that one moment But I watched that upset victory. The Mets come back in the ninth, and I remember just losing my mind being so happy for my mom and she was screaming, jumping up and down and this guy Phil's house we were at it was a friend of Of hers at the time. It's a form of entertainment. You don't see that the movie theater, right? I mean, very rarely in a movie theater. You know, you're not watching, like return to the Jedi, where Luke Skywalker throws Darth Vader over the thing, and everybody gets up in cheers. That just doesn't happen. But it happens in sports, right and those moments I missed them. I've been, uh, stranger to sports for the last few years because of the Wokeness and I just don't want to. It's just not my thing. "Air they, you know, we were able to get a prescription for dramatic. And and she was able to get it and go to the pharmacy near where we live in Texas, not far from dripping springs outside of Austin, and she sat there listening to him and the pharmacist behind the counter was arguing with the other pharmacist saying, Well, we can't fill this. What is this for? And then they interrogated my wife about what's this for this for Covid? My wife, France was. Does it matter? I have a prescription from a doctor and I want to get elected. And so ultimately they filled the prescription. But this is happening all over the country. The pharmacists are blocking the doctors. "12 years" Discussed on The Bible Recap

"Sees a vision. That has some familiar components. It's shiny metal looking man dressed in linen and gold. Lots of commentators. Think this is the angel. Gabriel again the angel. Slash messenger of god peels back the curtain to let us see what's been happening behind the scenes. I the angels. Three things daniel did as he sought to hear from god he said his heart to understand he humbled himself and he positioned himself before god and god sent the angel in response to daniel's prayers. Much likely read about with gabriel. Yesterday then the angel gives us a bit of a glimpse into the spiritual realm. We don't often get those in scripture at least not this explicitly. Probably because we wouldn't be able to handle it. The angel talks about a fight. He's been having with the prince of the kingdom of persia. Remember how each nation has their own set of god's to worship those gods are often connected to demonic powers the holy angels and fallen angels who serve in those roles are often referred to as patron angels in other words. The angel daniel is talking to is probably not biting a literal person prince. He's probably fighting the demonic power. Who is in charge of persia but to be fair. Some people believe those demonic powers would actually in dwell the kings and leaders of those countries so it could be a both end situation not an either or situation where he's fighting the demon who is in dwelling the king. This fight lasted for three weeks. The exact amount of time daniel was in mourning. And seeking god's response it turns out the angel wasn't just fighting with one demon but lots of demons who are over persia then. Another angel the archangel michael came in as backup and they defeated them. This news is stupefying daniel. The angel touches him and strengthens him and speaks encouraging words to him starting again with oh man. Greatly loved fear not peace. Be with you. Be strong and of good courage. God's message to his faithful servants brings reminders of his love and peace. The angel says he'll fill daniel in on things which he does in the next two chapters but then he has to piece out of this dimension because he's got another fight to handle in the spiritual realm and this time. Some greek demons will be added to the mix. Fortunately michael will be there to help him again and we also find out that michael is the angel who is assigned to protect daniel and as we see in twelve one all of god's people it's a pretty big deal to have the archangel michael as your patron angel chapter. Eleven has a lot going on. So we're going to cover it in broad strokes if you were especially interested in learning more about these prophecies. I recommend digging deeper in a study. Bible or commentary for starters willing to to our favorite study bibles today shown us. But in the meantime here's a more surface level easily accessible. Recap of what happens in this chapter. The angel says persia is about to flourish until powerful. greek ruler. probably alexander. The great takes over. His rain will end when his kingdom is divided into fourths. We're barely ten lines into this chapter and we're already seeing how earthly power. Even when aided and abetted by demons is temporary and control is an illusion all kingdoms crumble. Except one there will be wars between lots of different kingdoms that were unnamed by the angel. But that are easily recognizable to modern historians looking back on these prophecies kings and kingdoms used murder manipulation and even marriage alliances to try to keep their positions of power. One king will stand in the glorious land with destruction in his hand according to verse sixteen. This is almost certainly a reference to jerusalem and the terror that anti is the fourth will bring to it. Let's pause for a second and address something you might be wondering about. Didn't god promise he would bring the remnant back to the land after seventy years and established an eternal kingdom and there will be peace forever. Yes he did. So why is he now telling us. There will be more wars. What about the peace. He promised the trajectory of god's redemption has always been a process is people still haven't repented. They still don't have new hearts. he still hasn't been his spirit in them. And the eternal messiah-king hasn't established his reign on earth. Yet god's seventy year timeline was for the return to jerusalem but the promises of peace have always been pointing us to christ and his eternal kingdom in the meantime though there will be transgression and wore but on the upside more time for people to repent in the midst of all this versus thirty two thirty three say the people who know their god shall stand firm and take action and the wise among the people shall make many understand it goes on to say that some of the wise will be persecuted but persecution isn't the end for them glory is do you know who does reach his end. The wicked king who destroys everything in his path bursts forty-five says he shall come to his end with none to help him. Chapter twelve starts out with a reminder that the archangel michael is the patron angel currently assigned to israel. It goes on to say there will be a terrible war. The worst they've ever seen. But all of god's people have been accounted for by name and they will survive it then for the first time in the hebrew bible structure explicitly addresses the afterlife up until this point we've mostly just heard death referred to as the grave with only a few hints toward life after death like in second samuel twelve. When david said he would be reunited with his son who died but here in verses two through three the angel gives us more revelation about those things. Those versus say those who sleep in the dust. I e the dead will wake to face one of two realities. Everlasting life or shame and everlasting contempt. God tells daniel that he has already appointed a specific place for him in the afterlife as the angel starts to leave to others appear and someone probably one of the other angels wants to know when everything from chapter ten through twelve will take place the main angel replies with a phrase that has typically indicated three and a half years and this is where my god shot comes from today an honestly my god shopper. The whole book according to romans one. God reveal some things to all people like that. He's the divine creator with infinite power but a lot of this book is filled with things. God only told daniel and it even includes some things. God didn't tell daniel even when he asked by cow god left him hanging in twelve eight. Not only that. But if one angel is asking another angel for info here that it seems like even some of the angels don't have most of this information there is so much about this that we don't know some of it we might have ideas about but the books of prophecy. Don't let anyone get away with feeling like genius. They really humble us. We don't know if these stories point to antic- is the fourth or to the roman empire during jesus day or to the future return of christ or even to some combo meal that includes all of those so we hold all of it with an open hand. Maybe you know a lot about this book. Maybe you don't but you wanna learn more or maybe you're like i barely keep my head above water during day. No i feel like i've been able to relate to all three of those options at some point. So here's what's important for me to remember. At least sometimes. I treat information like a security blanket. Sometimes i want to know exactly what to expect because it lets me off the hook of having to trust god but it doesn't quite work that way does it. The only knowledge that brings security is knowledge of who god is. We're here to look for god on these pages. So i can rest knowing that i don't have to solve daniel and map out. What may or may not be happening in the future. Because y'all way is already there and he's wear the joy is tomorrow. Genocide in Afghanistan Was Prevented and No One Wants to Talk About It

"This genocide that's going on now. In Afghanistan. Beyond our cameras. Was not only preventable. It was prevented. And nobody wants to talk about it. The 20 year. War is over. Let me tell you a little secret. The 20 year war was over, quote unquote a long time ago several years ago. Barack Obama. Was not nation building. Donald Trump was not nation building. That's the last 12 years out of those 20 years. The person. The president who was nation building was George W. Bush. He's trying to figure out a way to prevent another attack on the homeland. Whether it be in the Middle East, whether it be In Afghanistan. I don't condemn him for that. He saw the Marshall Plan after World War two. The work It worked with Italy. It worked with Japan and work with Germany and other countries. Democracy was, in fact imposed where constitutions were in fact imposed and it worked. Of course we now know I think we know. That in certain societies such as they are They don't work. And they never will. Eight years of Obama in four years of Trump. They were not nation building.

"Yesterday we left off with ezekiel in the midst of a vision of jerusalem where he saw all the evil done by the elders and the people today that vision continues with god calling for their deaths. God summons the executioners who are almost certainly angels and has them come to the temple. The text describes them as men. But as we've already discussed angels always appear as men. There are seven of these men and six of them serve the purpose of slaughter while the other one has a different role. He's dressed in linen and he's got his tool belt on but his tools are a writing kit which in that day would have included an ink jar a pen and the case itself which served as a hard surface to ride on his job is to go around jerusalem marking the people who were grieved over the evil there because those are the ones god says he's going to spare by the way the word mark ear is the hebrew word tov. If the last letter of the jewish alphabet and in this time period of hebrew writing it would've looked like either a cross or an ex will link to a resource in the show notes. In case you want to see how the letter has changed over the years. This scene may have reminded you of the passover where those whose doorways were marked with blood which also would have been in the shape of a cross were saved while the rest encountered the death of the firstborn or maybe it reminded you of the mark of the beast from the book of revelation except the opposite. Obviously but this also parallel something else will see in revelation where the righteous will be marked as well with the seal of god on their foreheads. God tells them that when all the slaughter is complete. They should stack the bodies of the dead inside the temple. Obviously this is against the cleanliness. Laws dead bodies are unclean but it fits right in line with what god has said. He's going to do which is leave. The temple in the meantime ezekiel is distraught. Because he knows how wicked the people are and he seems to be nervous. That god will end up killing them all because of it that there won't be any people marked for saving and that israel will be wiped out forever. But god's has the people have sinned against him long enough and the days of mercy have passed and it's time for judgment starting with the leaders of jerusalem not to worry though. The man in linen does his job completely saving everyone. God commanded him to save. And i want to point out one thing here. There's nothing in the text that indicates that this linen man is at the often where god the sun shows up on earth. Like we've seen before but if you wondered about that you're not alone. This man certainly is a christ figure though. Even he's not the christ in chapter. Ten ezekiel has a vision that he compares to his earlier vision in chapter one where he sees the four faced four winged creatures attached to gyroscope like wheels this time he clarifies that they're definitely cherub them which is a type of heavenly being that is often seen guarding holy places. And that's exactly what they're doing here. They are carrying the throne. That god's presence will dwell on when he leaves the temple his chair bam chariot is waiting outside the temple as he's ready to go but i got has the linen man sinned holy fire in judgment on the city itself after this god's presence depart from the temple rests on the chair of him chariot and heads east. God has left the building. But god hasn't left his people because those worshipping idols aren't his people. They aren't among the remnant. Then god's spirit moves ezekiel to another part of the city in this vision and he prophesized a twenty five men including leaders of the city. These men have been acting like they're going to be killed in the city cooked like meet in a pot possibly because of the fires the linen man caused with his coal throwing but god says nope. I'm not going to kill you here. I'm going to kill you outside of jerusalem where all your fears and more are going to come true by the way. I don't just know what you do. I know what you think. I can read your mind and maybe you think you're cooked meat now but you're about to go out of the frying pan and into the fire ezekiel even specifically prophesized in chapters. Eleven and twelve. About how they'll leave the city and what will happen to them afterward and it all happens by the book in second kings twenty five four. We read about that on day to thirty one but this prophecy about ezekiel was written before it actually happened. I just wanted to clarify that point because again when we're trying to read the prophetic books as a whole many of them overlap timelines and it makes it challenging to keep the chronological order. So while ezekiel is delivering this prophecy. One of the men falls over dead then in the back. Half of chapter eleven god sets the record straight on something he says. In case there's any confusion the temple isn't actually there sanctuary. He is their sanctuary. He says it in verse. Sixteen and god. The sanctuary goes anywhere he wants. He's not confined to a specific spot. As we've talked about before the people of that day. Believe you change. God's as soon as you cross the border they thought y'all way was confined to israel and that once they left it they wouldn't be able to worship him anymore and he wouldn't have any power any more. Of course this is crazy inconsistent with what he's shown them through the years one of the major things he did for them early on his relationship with them was rescued him out of egypt through a series of signs and miracles. That put the egyptian gods to shame and he was with them in the wilderness outside the promised land but just like most if not all of us there default mindset is their cultural mindset not their spiritual mindset and it's hard for them to adjust so god keeps reminding them chapter eleven ends with the promise of a new heart for god's people then in chapter twelve we get more street theater just. A reminder ezekiel is exile during the first round of deportations. So he's either doing this performance in front of the other exiles or he's transported to jerusalem to do it there in front of the future exiles regardless which set of exiles. It's in front of their response is nonchalant when they're unmoved by this. God has ezekiel ads. Him emotion to it to show them the kind of fear and trembling the future. Exiles will be going through but they seem to be calloused by years of false prophecies and even as yet unfulfilled true prophecies so god lets them know that this is going to happen soon by god shot was just a little blip in ten nineteen or the glory. The lord is leaving the temple with the chair of them. This wrecked me. I choked up every time. I tried to write the section. The verse says that god and the chair of stood at the entrance of the eastgate of the house of the lord. The word stood in this passage implies that god lingered there at the threshold before leaving through the eastern gate. It's almost like that. Final lookback feeling the grief over what's been lost the pain over the way. His people have broken his heart the loss of the land. He promised them and the blessings he gave them. But all is not lost because then the presence of god heads east toward babylon god follows his people into the land of their exile pursuing them still even in exile. He's our sanctuary even in exile ease where the joyous one of the things we see in scripture from genesis to revelation is the theme of idolatry. And how it distracts our heart from engaging with god at a deeper level idolatry doesn't just prefer to statues ezekiel fourteen tells us we can take idols into our hearts. So we built out a pdf with more info on how to identify idolatry in your own heart and would love to share that with you if you want to get this pdf or free. Sen. Cotton Says It's Shameful Biden Doesn't Take an Aggressive Stance in Kabul

"The Taliban is the enemy. The Taliban is animated. Remember the Taliban is a ragtag gang of a bunch of illiterate goat herds. Uh yes, they have support throughout the country in various segments of the population. But they could not for a moment stand up to the troops that we have inside the Kabul airport or more troops that we could flow into that airport. So it is shameful that Joe Biden and his secretary of state Saying that the Taliban and control of Kabul and we have to negotiate with the amount of reality. All we have to say is the United States is now in control of Kabul and anyone who interferes the evacuation of an American citizen will be killed on site. Uh huh. He's not going to do that. Is he, senator? Of course, he's not going to do that. I mean, this is an example of Joe Biden and his prickly stubbornness and pride fullness. He thinks that he's been right about Afghanistan for 12 years at a minimum, and everyone to include President Obama should have listened him. He's going to show everyone and know what they're saying, Mark. They're saying that no Americans are stranded and we're going to get out. Every American who wants to get out ridiculous. I'm afraid that that's their way to justify rolling up. Operations later this week, so you can get all the troops out by August 31st and then anyone who's stuck. Well, I guess they didn't want to get out because Joe Biden so incompetently executed his decision to withdraw our troops from Afghanistan.

"If you're looking for a path to success with a good life it probably made you despair but if you're looking for god what did you say about him today. My guide shot was in eight twelve which also felt like a perfect summary for the whole book. It says though a sinner does evil a hundred times and prolongs his life yet. I know that it will be well with those who fear god because they fear before him. This first points out that there's no formula for a long happy life. Living righteously doesn't mean you'll live longer than those who aren't walking with god the only thing we can do is delight in god and obey him and trust him with the outcome and that in itself is what it looks like for things to go well regardless what actually happens. Isn't that what you're really after anyway. A heart at peace. And haven't you seen time and again how the thing you want doesn't actually achieve that for you. And how striving after it actually produces the opposite of heart at peace the preacher has had and parties and concerts and concubines and money in amounts you and i will never be able to touch and he says none of it brings the kind of peace and joy comes from humbly walking with god. The preacher knows. He's where the joy is. Can i talk to you about the bible. I know i do that every day. The Obamacare Decision by SCOTUS Shows They Are Cowards

"The obamacare decision by the Supreme Court today is expected. And I'll tell you why not, for reasons so called legal analysts have to say. Because once these unconstitutional laws take hold They're almost impossible to undo. So the Supreme Court by 5 to 4 with Justice Roberts, the chief justice, flipping Wasn't 12 years ago. Turning into a tax case. He wrote The, uh, really the the law into, uh And for two forever Ville. And so no challenge will ever upset it. And Justice. Alito's dissent was brilliant. Gorsuch joined with him. We got all this head counting going on on T V. You know what? But they don't get at any of the substance, of course. This was a tax case. That's what the Supreme Court turned it into. And then when the tax issue Was repealed on the individual mandate by Congress. Suddenly, it's not a tax case anymore. Suddenly it's a standing case. So the Supreme Court turned itself three times. Now on this law, Obamacare into a pretzel. And those lawyers who really are not constitutional lawyers, but maybe their former federal prosecutors or former defense lawyers. Maybe I don't know. Former bankruptcy laws or whatever this is how they use their green eyeshades. And so that's that's not what's going on here. These justices are demonstrating over and over and over again. What a bunch of cowards there. Comey Cavanaugh really, so far disasters. Hopefully, that will change over

"The mouth of a fool brings ruined near whoever utters. Slander is a fool. When words are many transgression is not lacking but whoever restrains his lips is prudent the tongue of the righteous is choice silver the lips of the righteous feed many. The mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom but the perverse tongue will be cut off the lips of the righteous. No one is acceptable but the mouth of the wicked. What is perverse. And that's just in chapter ten. I also want to point out again that this is wisdom literature. It's not promises or prophecies or law and it all has to be weighed by its context and measured by the rest of scripture. Or we'll be led to believe something that scripture isn't actually saying to us for example ten fifteen says a rich man's wealth is a strong city. The poverty of the poor is there ruin but over and over again. We've seen that. God has rendered wealth meaningless and the he has lifted up the poor even in eleven twenty eight today. He says whoever trusts in his riches will so what is solomon trying to say here. Is he contradicting himself. Based on the context of ten fifteen. It seems like the message. He's trying to send their has more to do with work ethic than wealth. Laziness is frowned upon and poverty. Shouldn't be romanticized. Because so many problems are adjacent to it. While hard work and poverty aren't always at odds the proverbs speak general truths. There are always exceptions to the rule. Some people are born on third so to speak so even though they may work hard they can advance further than someone who was born in the dugout. for instance other proverbs requires to be new. Wants to the way we interpret them and show us the attention to detail. The balance that wisdom brings for instance ten eighteen says the one who conceals hatred has lying lips and who utters slander is a fool. This isn't contradictory either. It's telling us what to say and what not to say. We shouldn't lie about our feelings but we shouldn't gossip about the person either. Chapter eleven puts a lot of the connections between humility and wisdom and righteousness and wisdom humility and righteousness are so closely linked because the humble person will realize that they don't have all the answers and the wise thing to do is to walk in god's ways not their own even though submitting to someone else namely god doesn't sound like freedom it truly is otherwise like verse six says we live in bondage to our sins it says the treacherous are taken captive by their lust. I would rather be a bond servant god than my sins any day. This chapter also emphasizes the way the righteous or not only blessed themselves also serve as a blessing to those around them verse. Twenty five says it this way the one who waters will himself be watered and i grew up in the south where they say it. This way you can't pour it out without getting little on you no matter how you say it. It's clear that god loves for his people to be generous chapter. Twelve dives back into our speech. Here's an excerpt for solomon keeps driving the point home juxtaposing. The wise against the foolish based on their words and reactions. The way of a fool is right in his own. Is that a wise man. Listens to advice. The vexation of a fool is known at once but the prudent ignores an insult. Whoever speaks the truth gives honest evidence but a false witness utters deceit. There is one whose rash words are like sword thrusts the tongue of the wise brings healing truthful lips endure forever but a lying tongue is but for a moment essentially we can boil it down to this. The wise man might keep his mouth shut even if he has something awesome to say. The fool blabber endlessly and it usually results in errors lies and wounds as someone who talks for a living. This is really important council for me to pay attention to. What was your god shot. Today i noticed two sections that explicitly tell us god loves and hates which i'm always on the lookout for eleven twenty says those of crooked heart are an abomination to the lord. But those of blameless ways are his delight and twelve twenty two says lying lips are an abomination to the lord but those who act faithfully his delight so we see that god hates crooked heart and lying lips and the word crooked here is most often translated her verse which usually means behaving in a way. That is belligerent or unreasonable. It's rebelling against god standards as are the lying lips and we see that god loves those of blameless ways and those who act faithfully so what if you see yourself in both. Haven't we all lied and rebelled. So does god love or hate us. Aren't we all a bit like the israelites. Who worship him. Then turn away and come back and turn away again. The good news is that christ. Death not only covers the sins of our moments of rebellion. But even the selfish moments behind our so-called good actions sometimes i quote unquote act faithfully. Because i want to feel like a good christian. Not because i love god and his death covers even the broken parts of me. That taint my so-called good deeds because he has covered my sins he can delight in me as his righteous daughter and because he delights in me. I can delight in him. He's where the joy is. You guys are the very best at spreading about tv. Our thanks to you. So many people never would have read through the bible at join us and are loving it. That's listening during if that's what someone's trying to go out there and do saying don't do it because if it is encouraging you to get out and travel getting out there to take notice of media is than. It's fantastic we're guilty of that too of falling into that trap the mentality of just creating for the sake of creating Should be a message like behind like you know you should be. Kind of what you came to. What i took from that person like stick to your message you have to share to to the world. I think it's like the idea of that price in what i believe. Or what i heart. "This is john and you are listening to words of jenn episode number sixty eight. This one is titled letter to my twelve year. Old self pay jen. It's me future gen. Yes that sounds impossible. You're going to have to trust me even though you don't trust anyone right now. I know you really want to quit your ballet class when you were a little kid. It was fun somewhere along the way. It got exhausting and stressful. You got your first pair of toes shoes when you were nine which was way too young and your feet never stopped hurting. Our parents get angry. Every time you outgrow your toes shoes leotards or tights. But they won't let you quit ballet over and over our parents tell us the same old story you were born disabled and the doctors didn't think he would ever walk. It is frustrating that they cannot see that. You walk and dance without difficulty. One of the worst things about ballet is the leotards. Your body is growing curves and it's totally embarrassing. It doesn't help. that dad. Keeps calling you fat or that. Your ballet teacher said you would never have a dancer's body hang in there a little longer. I promise you won't be forced to take ballet forever. There's another problem though. The girls at school have started painting their nails and wearing lip gloss. They check their hair and little mirrors worried about how it looks. Some of them. Have crushes on boys. You think these girls are being dumb. It is as though they are trying to out girl each other. You wear hand me downs from your cousins. A mix of boys clothes and girls close. It is the first time that you think that maybe you're not really a girl. The boys at school whom you grew up with since kindergarten are the same as they always were. No one has said it out loud but you get the feeling that they see you as one of the guys. This feels comfortable but you realize you're not really a boy either. You're going to take a long time to figure out what you are burnell. The word tomboy seems to almost fit. I promise you there will be language for what you are that becomes normalized in the future. It might be hard for you to understand that right now. Just know there are others like you who are also neither girl nor boy. This piece of writing was inspired. By an article posted on auto straddle titled happy birthday to us. "Everyone kevin crews here with a very special podcast. In fact this episode we will be cross posting on both delete x leadership show and the extreme productivity podcast. Today my guest. And i will be talking about secrets to productivity which is just another way to say how to make your goals and dreams come true. We're gonna talk about how you can finally write that book. You always wanted to write but just don't have time and if your student middle school high school college how can you even get your homework done in less time. But these productivity secrets are universal. Doesn't matter what your goal is. What your dream is. They're going to help you to actually make it happen in. Twenty twenty one. Now we're going to be chatting about things like your most important task. The magic of fourteen forty maximizing your focused attention and more and who is my special guest on productivity today. I'm lucky to have with me twelve year old. Cnn cnn. welcome to the show. Hi and i should also say. Cnn we invited your mom to hang out with us. Hello heather thanks for joining. Hello so cnn you sent me an email out of the blue right like how many months ago. Two three months ago months ago okay now. I don't get a lot of reader emails. But i might get ten or twenty emails a day and i've been writing about twenty years now so i got to save that the probably hundred thousand emails. I've gotten from readers <hes>. I always read them. I don't always reply to them. I try to reply to a lot but yours really stood out to me. You had a very special email. Which is why. I invited you on the show to to talk about it and i guess for our listeners. I'm hoping that you will actually. I've got a copy here. I'm going to share it on the screen that you'll read this email so they know kind of just how how we met if you will go ahead and read the email that you sent me a couple couple of months ago. My name is john. I'm in eighth grade. Twelve years old enema writer. About a month ago. I was interested in improving my words per hour. I wanted to write a book. But i was procrastinating so much snapchat instagram and taking buzzfeed quizzes seem more appealing. So i began to look for ways to become more productive. Eventually i stumbled upon your podcast. And when i listened to it changed my life your tips about productivity was <hes>. Implemented immediately nine. Oh myung but that doesn't mean. I'm not busy with homework. Music family in sports. I was so busy exhausted. I know time to do anything. Including writing. Which is my mit. Every day i love message about the number fourteen forty so i print out the sign put in my room at the start of november. I took the challenge of twitter. Seemed impossible only a few months ago. I decided to write seventy five thousand words in the month of november. This programs knows nanna raimondo. I'm in the young writers programme. So far i've written forty six thousand two hundred and thirty eight words. This month i can now hit twenty five hundred words in our forbes around nine hundred and i've implemented a morning routine with trees up in our to just write. My homework gets done a lot. Faster much to my mom's relief and my entire day scheduled on google calendar. So thank you for your amazing podcast. Books and tipped on productivity. They've helped me out on my journey to becoming an author wonderful so first of all. Give us an update. How did november go. How many words did you end up writing in november total. I wrote eight thousand seven hundred twenty eight words now. You know that contest you only have to write fifty thousand words so you practically did have lice right pretty much. So with nanaimo you can set any goal you want so if you were looking to aim lower could do ten thousand words or a hundred thousand words. But i set my goal at seventy five thousand seventy five thousand and as a writer and a lot of friends who are writers. I've known of a nanno raimondo. Though i have to pause to say it it's twister but for the listeners. Who aren't familiar with. It tells more about that program. Do you remember what that stands for. Nanno raimondo yeah. It stands for national novel writing month so in that month every day you have to hit a goal of one thousand six hundred sixty seven words. Approximately and it has to be a new novel. You wrote you just started that month and you can have anything from prior amongst for it to count. It's entirely free as well. So that's nice. It's a great program and in fact for people who want to learn more about it <hes>. Nanno ramo dot org. It's actually a nonprofit that gets people toronto. How did you hear about the program. So back in july probably july or august. I was looking for just some writing contests. Because i was kind of interested in writing a book and i kind of stumbled across this in. It looks very interesting. But i noticed that the date for the contest was november and then around october. I guess i had my idea for my nanno novel and then i just signed up for it. Then

"In helping miami. Pd capture the shenandoah rapist. In two thousand four in a former. Fbi agent. Bob whitening have been working without pay on tapes case for almost two years. The investigators say that they uncovered evidence that a sixteen year. Old named carruthers at the time lived on the first floor of the building when the crime took place an aspiring rapper. Who went by the hand or goes by the handle. Little will carruthers met through mutual friends sometime in two thousand four and according to a swarm statement that he gave in two thousand and five somedays. I would see him walking to school. But i never said anything to him until the started coming around where i live. It has been shown that on the day of the robbery. Lionel tate had sent a text message to carruthers. That stated. you still want to bust that lick after school question. Mark now in his statement. Crowder's explained that bus. That look is slang for robbery in the tate was referring to stealing from an unidentified. Hollywood florida teenager who was known to carry a large sum of cash but never happened. That was all talk. Carruthers told police others claimed he was on the sidewalk outside the apartment building when the pizza guy showed up and lionel tate was at the top of the staircase and he was witness to the robbery occurring now another young man who was twelve years old at the time and lived in the apartment where the robbery took place initially told police that he saw lionel tate. Rob the pizza guy later years later after speaking to the private investigators. He recanted his story. And during a deposition he claimed the tate wasn't even there when the pizza guy entered the apartment. He says carruthers was standing by the front door with a gun tucked under his waistband. And he says. I saw him out. And that's when i ran to my mom's room and that's where i heard a scream indicating that was the pizza guy. Screaming asked by taste. Defense attorney why. He didn't identify carruthers from the building. He said because i was scared and he said he was going to kill me now. There was another story that was brought up by a mr edwards who is a convicted felon who called the defense team from jail edwards claims. He was in the apartment also the night of the robbery and he saw carruthers wearing the maroon shorts. That tate was identified as being wearing during the robbery and one of the things that he was identified with by now recovered evidence by the way when they did find the shorts that were identified by the victim as being the ones worn by the shooter or the robber the shorts did have lionel tate. Dna autumn and not anybody else's now the private detectives say that. Mr edwards really has nothing to gain by his eye lamenting the other man. Mister carruthers the investigators stated we are not law enforcement. So it's not like we can offer him anything. There was absolutely no benefit for him to come forward with this information the information about possible other. Dna information about possible other witnesses. The information about the recanted statement of the little boy this is all provided to state prosecutor's office and they have really not issued at the time any statement of the findings but the broward county sheriff's office who investigated both the original murder of the six year old and the salt in robbery. The pizza guy did make a public statement. Broward county sheriff's spokesman. Elliot cohen dismissed the private investigators charges saying i'd expect nothing less from two people who are working for the person they are trying to exonerate. The court record is very extensive and pretty clear about what happened. The last appeal for lionel tate was in two thousand and eight. Now how did it turn out for him. You might ask well. The new information didn't go very far at least ways. It didn't go very far with the cork. According to the state of florida tate will not be eligible for release from department of corrections prisons. There in florida till may of twenty thirty. He's got ten more years. I guess maybe that shows there might be a limit to the number of times. You can cry foul in say there was a problem apparently might be the limit. But i'm sure with nothing else better to mr. Tate will continue to work on getting out of prison and that is his right. He should take advantage of any rights that he has now. That's our shade of blue story for this saturday. I hope you've found it interesting. Mr lionel tate is still locked up feud like more information on him. You can do some web searching and come up with further information but the latest as of this date is that his. He's not going to get out of prison until twenty thirty. Thanks for listening. everyone. I appreciate the contacts. I'm getting through my website and the follow ups with individuals that have been giving me some very good creative criticism. "Hi sober souls. It's Lynn from Georgia and I'm really excited for today's episode because. I'm about to turn ten years summer. By the time you'll be listening to this. It will be July twenty seven. Which is my sober bursary? It is the day that I entered Hazelton Betty Ford in center city Minnesota, screaming. Yeah literally screaming for help. <hes> I was intoxicated so sometimes. I actually tell folks like I'm going to tell you that. My actual date of not being intoxicated was probably closer to the twenty eight, but I went in pretty early on the twenty seven. So it's just easier for me to remember. However I did spend <hes> twenty four hours in detox, which was super. Fun For those of you who have been? been through detox, it was my third detox and <hes>. Yeah, that one stuck for those of you. Who May Not Know My story? I attempted to get sober like so many of us long before. I actually attained sobriety, so I say that I have been in recovery. 'cause, that's what I fully believe as opposed to one hundred percent sober for two years prior to actually finding sobriety. And they'll talk a little bit more about that once I. Get into what I'm going to share with. And that is my lessons from ten years of Sobriety in twelve years in recovery I've worked really hard to kind of home down to ten lessons. Only because it's fun to do it that way, <hes> Ten and ten you know, but there are so many more than ten lessons. Many of which I often talk about here on the PODCAST, so getting back to my story I was really bad off before I went into -ment and by bad off. I mean yeah, in the two years prior I had seven months of sobriety or I guess I would actually call it. Since I was still taking prescription drugs and counter drugs, not as prescribed, but leading up to my final days as an active drinker, I experienced loss, and what we often call in the Biz a precipitating event, which set my final days of drinking into high gear for approximately the final three months for me, and that event was my father died I was estranged from my father at the time. I actually felt like while he was dying, he was somewhat haunting me. And I would go between him haunting me about actually coming to see him before he died, my parents were living in Arizona at the time, and also just the culmination of his mental illness, which was lifelong for me in how that manifested in my waking and sleeping hours as negative self talk, and also I really did feel like he was in my consciousness. So hopefully that is okay for some of you out there indefinitely I know it's okay for those of us like myself. Who are into the Woohoo? So in any case he did pass away and for the next several weeks I was off and on drinking, and then well into the month of June where I had. Had really relapsed. If you will in a hard core way I just gave up, and I just started drinking twenty four seven, I would have days where I would push myself to recover, which meant for me sitting on my sofa until the nausea went away until I had stopped throwing up, and I would push myself into overdrive an exercise I would try and exercise and Excise the alcohol out of me, and it was so painful, and then of course after a day or so of doing this, I would talk myself into drinking again as if I could have some modicum of control, these were the days that I would wake up after only buying one bottle it was. At the time, which was so horrific to me that that's what I was buying, but that's what I was buying and I would go four blocks drive for blocks to the gas station to get it every morning. There were mornings that I was up at you. Know seven, because, of course you don't sleep well and rain for eight o'clock living in Wisconsin at the time for the store to open, so I could get my drug. It was excruciating. I was of course in a deep depression I wasn't thinking straight. I was isolating and there was literally nothing. Nothing, that anyone could do I at one point scheduled. What I know now is my second or third intervention. Call my family to come. Help me somehow, and they did not have any idea what to do. They were not well-versed in addiction at all. All they knew to do is to take me to the hospital. Where they gave me comfort drugs including Atta van and sent me home with Clemson

"Just come out and give me the buggies piece of crap. You know life take time this game could be awesome so get this thing this thing. Nail down a resident evil three. That's a remake as well. That's coming out. In April to to my knowledge there's been no delays on that as ow so either still shooting for an April release date dying light to probably not a super well-known game game dying light. One was fun. We we played it. We got it for Black Friday. It's an interesting it's as Ambi- you know his on the game and it's very interesting like you know you got during the day Azzam don't move you can go do whatever you want this design actual like day night cycle built into the game You can find things you can build different weapons on based on what you find in the environment and stuff like that. So there's a lot of cool mechanics and it was A. It was a lot of fun to play. I don't know what the initial release date was slated for this us but this has also been delayed as well and they haven't given a An expected date with delays. So all he said was has been delayed schick again. We're trying to trying to give you the best product possible Blah Blah Blah so. I think it's interesting. So so those are some games. Look out for so. That's cool I and and you know as we get closer. These games will probably have or more more talks more episodes based on the majority of the episode based on those games. But but I look at this list and I see all the delays and I one thing that comes to mind right off. The Bat is has the gaming industry finally gotten message. Judge that message being we as gamers are sick and tired. A Games being released that are barely above Beta eight. A status like anthem is a perfect example anthem. Maybe is the yeah like a office thing exactly like have they finally gotten gotten the message that we are sick of spending sixty dollars for basic and then obviously in a lot of these games. Have you know collector's editions. Bow and a lot of people. Buy that stuff you you know. Sixty to one hundred one hundred fifty dollars for a game to get an unfinished piece of shit like have they finally heard what we've had to tell them and these delays or driven by the fact that they're looking at Shit if we released this it's going to be half done and we're GONNA get their fucking ass chewed like I think so. I think there's there's they're hearing the outcry all right. Let's let's get this thing right. Let's release it not have just not release it and then we'll fix from there. Just give it time. Give us the finished product. People will wait. It'll be I mean people complain about the wait for it but once they get hands on it if it's Polish imperfect than all the complaint will stop stop where exactly now it gets released and sure they have in their hands but it's not perfect Polish so then the shit storm planes continues on and on and on and on and on and on and on on so if you finish it perfect then then all playing will stop. Yeah exactly I mean you look. At two games released. You'll get anthem so obviously so the two games that I'm going to talk about. Are there different games. Genre wise But you have anthem released total trash fire like like just. It was half done. A lot of people would say it was probably half done. When it was released there was virtually no content tended to go here this defend grinding missions and it just it just wasn't in a in a finished state what you'd consider it a Finnish state? Then you get a game like John Order you know. I don't think there were any delay or wizard delay. I don't think they're delays in the development. They did what we need to do. They did their development proper. They gave enough time. They released a game that was finished. And polished from the GECKO and look at it. went off like gangbusters. Busters was one of the best games of the year critically acclaimed you know. A lot of people loved it And Yeah you granted. They're two different types of games aims but the fact that matter is one released dot finished and it got a ton of backlash one released finished. I mean Gra- granted. It was a good game. You Soviet release finished but it was a shitty game it would be a different subject but you know it released finished and it was a good game and the fact that it was finished helped it also be better or you know if it was if it was a good game but it was. It wasn't finished and it. That's that's the worst if it's a good game and it's like seventy five percent John you're like fucking really what does shit like. Why couldn't you just waited? You know push back the release like six months and giving me a one hundred percent of the game right out right out of the gate so I definitely think a lot of these. East delays stemmed from that fact that I think finally the industry and these big studios are starting to hear consumers in listen a bid and say we'll faulk like every game. That's a release this year. that it hasn't been completely honest Don's Khanna gotten there the shooting out of it. I think we should definitely give a buffer time to make sure the game is completely finished so I mean I hope so like I feel like a game you get enough complain Eh. Voice will be heard and I think ask people the second point to it. Yeah and the second point to just based on this list that we've gotten a lot of these are single player Games. I I think I think pushback and that's the other point. That's another kind of point that I wanted to bring up his. You hit it right on the head like single player like EA has disillusioned the gaming world into thinking that people only want online games. You know it can be. It can have a story but as long. It's a story like an emo. You have to play with friends like people want people want online capabilities in every facet of their game. But you look at this list and you're like like yes. Some of these games are going to have online capabilities for sure like Halo for for sure is going to have a match. You know online matchmaking. But it's going to have a story it's going to have a main player story in ladies. Other Games are solely single player games and again referencing phone order. One hundred percent single player no online awesome awesome game there it has been so few really well put together single player games out there that tell a good story and tell it effectively that these few games that have come out recently people like praising them like the Messiah because they're like Oh my God they're so good but in all reality we've had so sh- such shitty single player games for so long. That ones Sir are a breath of fresh air to the past. Couple of games played over the year. That I just like can't find myself I can't peel away from God of war and John both one hundred ten percent single player. That's all you can do and they are just frigging phenomenal. So the single game right. It's awesome you. Don't don't try a half asphalt I think anthem the problem with anthem Kayak companies. They want to give you a single player game. That can be played with friends. And I I don't think they could really balance that too well so kind of choice to do single player or multiplayer. That's always been my my concern with with games like the division and stuff like that is is multiplayer aspects to it and I think that's great but it makes certain areas almost impossible unless you do lost our punked can be straight up like GPA style where Gt ad. It's completely owned like story. You can do and then you can boot up an online client go online and do stuff. I want yeah online. The single player to be separate entities. Guess 'cause the shingle place Saipan's looks like it can be amazing. Yeah and based on how you know because if I figured if the single player in the military we're going to go hand in hand and you could basically run you're running through kind of an online world at all times the whole game. The game is a whole you you have to be delicious until the finish so you can kind of take hope in that saying like Oh yeah because if you have a single players get delayed aid and or if a single player in the Out Two different times and one thing that they're kind of in two different realms but of the same game yeah so oh yeah. So That's interesting. I mean so yeah those two points jumped out at me the minute I I kind of put together this list and I saw I saw the delays and all this stuff so those things were kind of like boom right there so I think that's I think that's interesting. I think both of those things are good for gamers in the long run. So here's hoping that that's the case. So all right well see I wanNA wrap this bitch up. Give away from work on. Yeah all right well. Aw thank you everyone for listening. We really appreciate it again. We're on episode number twelve. It's.

"For content because now they're gonNA save for money purposes because you will buy them yet released this for another thirty dollars from every single person who bought the game and you give to earn more book Mon and then that. Hey here's another thing for another three dollars more so pokemon. So yeah they all see. They wanted to for cash people. They you want to hang off having everyone for cash which Also I think it was February the releasing that Pokemon home application where you can deposit your Pok Mon into the server thing across like all your games. Yeah so it's like A. I think he got paid for monthly though to have it. But yeah you have you. You buy this thing called book one home and you can just send pokemon from all your. Tim gives you have into this home. And if said POK MON can be brought to Komo said game you can then take out of home into working. We want to have so. I play Pokemon son Pope from there into home and then that poem. That can come out of your home into sword. You can do that. And it's on into and take it out to where they can go. Yeah that's interesting. Yeah so I mean that's definitely coming out. All cash grabs sure. Oh yeah so. That's coming down on top of that. Keep adding more pokemon and adding them into another cool feature. That we've talked about is you can get all the new POK MON that are coming from the Tundra and of armor will actually a cabin had the DLC so say the DC but you have friends who has extra like here. I'll give you one this new pokemon without having had the area which is very nice. You've been really Dick moved to acquire like we have these new. Yeah these new but you. You can't get it until you give us money so it's very. It's very a blizzard route. I'm glad to see that they're not doing that. Yeah it's nice that they're giving me a chance like hey if you can't afford it but you got some friends who also catch your whatnot. Yeah you can have my extra pokemon but you just miss out on the adventure park because they are adding. Like gyms gyms are rivals or something like that too so there's constant areas. Yeah this story is just an an island or an area with and that's it. There's their stories certain things to do. So yeah I think it's interesting and you know I like I said my heart of hearts. I think they're going to basically do the new game method method. You know every couple of years but then I think they're also going to implement this. DLC for every new game that they make so that you can get more out of your game because that's that's always that is a big problem as as an adult playing pokemon That's there's a lot of problems with being an adult playbook the big problem game-wise is deputy a beat it and it's not a whole lot to do and games. Yeah there's not a whole lot to do from there You know you could go back through and start a new game. Choose choose different starters shoes all different. You know catch different pokemon but it's really the same thing over and over again at that point I mean how they they made Pok Mon soul silvern vern heart gold something ever and that is to full regions like you beat the re a new read. That's not honoree. You beat the region that was in the original silver or original gold and then you can then travel back to the region from red blue glued yellow and go through all those gyms again. It's just a bump all the levels up obviously because they to way expected to be and I love that because I you know I was so sick sick of like Pok Mon Games on the actual game boys and stuff like that that I was playing them on Roms on the computer. You get an emulator and you get roms and there was one At one rom was a hack around. I can't remember what it was called But it basically had every poke him on that was ever available available up to that point. That was on the game boy. Advance like any game that came out on game. Boy Advance Generation. I think Had All those Pok Mon and it had like three regions like you had to basically go through and beat each region go the next one do you know the all the GM's the final four and it was tough. And I don't think I was like even close close to beating it when I kinda stopped playing because there's just like it was a lot to do and that's an interesting concept. I definitely feel like it's something they baby should explore next game. That comes out on the switch. It's it's something they'd done already so they know how to do. They can just implemented onto a causal okay and that just gives people much more content. There's more playability it keeps people satiated for longer like they have pokemon content to do for longer So they're not what basically I feel like all the negative press from a lot of these games come about after people beat the game and they're just playing it over and over again and they basically nothing's new to them so they have you know all the new shine and gleam and like the things that are of interest to find out about the game gone. So you're just sitting there finding all the flaws ause and so the longer they can keep people immersed in new shiny things the longer it will take before everyone rips the flaws. Either that or or implement a little bit of Pok Mon go action where the actual gyms in the game are legit owned and defended by other players thous using too. So you have to know train because obviously the trainers Jimmy there are going to continue trading their pokemon so you have to really grind get yours to be powerful enough then even if you do beat them Dan you to keep yourself on your toes to be strong enough to be able to come challenge you. Hello Fun actually. Own Your own code. Hey you know gave me. I was a kid which what you should do as though have you. Have you go through eight games against a version because it'll be people who will complain. I can't actually beat the gyms weighing so have you play the game. Everyone's you can beat. It said that but then once the game's over then then you have access to all right. Do you want to switch this feature on where all eight gyms yet to reduce them but they're owned by legit people and then content just just guarding your gym. Or what Yep so more games. So that's POK Mon.. You know twenty twenty. It's GonNa be a good year for POK MON as well With the expansions smother games you know. We kind of had a list of notable games to be on look out for and twenty twenty and this is not again by all means an exhaustive list. This is just some games that not take our interests and so they're in their big in general they have. There's a lot of buzz around them a whole so. There's the final fantasy seven remake. I know a lot of people have been looking out for that. People are super excited for that. Initially it was set to come out in March of this year so and less than two months months but it was recently just announced that it was delayed to eat just a month so it's delayed to April tenth of twenty twenty so final fantasy seven remake April tenth twenty twenty one month not a big deal Last of US part to this is probably one of the bigger. If not the biggest games that people looking out for this year that comes out in a of two thousand twenty updated delay time right because this got delayed. Also this this. This is the to my knowledge. That's the updated state has now got delayed till pressure. Yeah to cyberpunk twenty seventy seven again. Another big AH release that a lot of people are looking forward to see project read the Yes CD project. Read the people that brought you the witcher games. They're fantastic. I would say they're fantastic. Hasek studio they really do right by their by their gamers by their patrons That was set to come out. In April April Sixteenth of two thousand twenty. This has been delayed five months to September seventeenth of two thousand twenty. So that's a big. That's a big big gap. But I've even heard word that that is the single player they still are trying to implement multi-player into this sort of you know I would assume similar to how GTA maybe doing enter or whatever but either way they're they're planning to implement multi-player facets of into this game and that night that September seventeenth release date doesn't include the multiplayer. multi-player would still be delayed. Even further from that initial release. Date is from the things that I've read so That kinda sucks. But I'm I WANNA to get my hands on just the game. The single play a whole acid single players for two anyway so I mean because time on multiple guests. Yeah and so so. There's a few things I want to finish this. Listen and a half. Ah Points Halo Infinite. So there's no hard launch date for this but it isn't twenty twenty. Everyone in their mother can probably Holy -SSUME that it's going to be released in the holiday season when the new xbox release. That's probably the guests. That's probably going what's going to happen. They're going to release issue. Saint's this day. Yeah the same day that the new xbox released new council here here's our here's our state council new halo this. Yeah Marvel's avengers. This is a big game. A lot of people have been hyping this up. It looks good. We got a lot of Beta testing Footage they stores there's law streamers When the Beta it was the Beta Now this was like four months ago maybe A lot of people were playing this onto which for the for the Beta Ada. This has also been delayed kind of a kind of a big hit. It was going to come out in May of two thousand twenty but this again got delayed to September Fourth of twenty twenty so another five month delay September pop request. September's look good for for games honestly but the big thing with Marvel's with and they don't i. I didn't read any specific site. You know all these companies. When they say they're released they say they always say the same shit like? Oh we're delaying so that we can provide the best gaming experience to our customers Yada audio. CD project read in Sira Punk. I honestly believe that you know I I assume that they. It's a big city. I I know they WANNA pack a plot into the game so I think they're just trying to make everything run efficiently and smoothly and look as good as they can have things to do throughout the world. I believe that Ah from avengers you know. Honestly I think they're probably GONNA do some character resigns because a lot of people didn't like the look of like thor a couple other characters but also the voice acting voice acting not a lot of people were too keen on the voice actors. Either so there may be some character redesigns and there may be some some voiceover work being changed With a man James I get to actual people like the I know. No no no no not at all. I think I just think that the people in part of that is part of the problem. I think a lot of people are too tied in. Yeah to Marvel's credit. They killed it in the casting for the for the movies. Now now everyone exactly people can't separate You know th or from Chris has worth like you. You say you're like yeah. It is Chris Hemsworth. Dory's Chris Chris. Hemsworth is thor and so I think that is part of the problem but I do think outside of that. I do even think that the voice actors were a little lackluster. From what I've seen are and what I had watched with the avengers game so I don't know we'll see what happens down. Like old bit redesigned throats. He took his fucking mother's dare plates off. The ice chest. Looks like he needs he needs. Yeah I'm down for. I think maybe some character redesigns are in order. Also I mean they. They had there's public outcry to get sonic changed in that movie happen. So Yeah I'm pretty sure there's plenty of L. crowded change. They can intervention game. I think that's what majority is. Still a probably is go back and redesign good chunk of those characters made. It's possible that with Sarah Funke just said Yeah. I think they're definitely they want to make this game. Just plus Clawson run like Yeah Kabbah. So I'm crush Reggie Times. Yeah I I'll wait longer to have again. They'll run smoothly and they've.

"Off to branch pause his paw G- A drug rug cranking nineties there. That's that's got to be a drug right keep cranking ninety day man. Also the funny thing is it on that whole train of thought of the older generation not knowing what the Lingo new-generation and when all this current streamers you know our parents that link I'll be like normal and and who knows what the new link is going to be like so like you're GonNa have have like T. being a parent and like thirty years said pogs to his kid and then his kids going to be saying some fucking random who knows you know saying to hit back and and TV Steve. WHO's GonNa be like one going? Like what the hell does that mean where he's just Yeah it's it's just funny to think about push to bunch of emotes that's how my God that's exactly. Yeah Yeah so we we. We laughed hieroglyphics to spoken and written word. Drifting back towards hieroglyphics. Exactly this is a capital. Follow by a park shampooer designate. Before I know fucking history repeats itself man. So we're just it's it's a vicious cycle but yeah so the thing is kind of interesting and me all to keep an eye on is it depends how much money spent on the two like. IS HE GONNA build like A. How many stations is he going to build like? Where's the warehouse GonNa be like? How many people is he going to be able to house at one time is going to be like a camp where they can stay overnight or over the summer like you know? It's an interesting. There's a lot of things that have yet to be filled in a lot of blanks. And that's you know I. I think both of our opinions are the same that like. Hey We Kinda WanNa see what these banks are. Because that's a really important factor on what's going to the success of the plan is going to be you know. Oh I'll I'll keep an ear to the ground for whenever he comes out with with his plans. But until then I'm kind of question marks all around. But let's see what you can do. Yeah for sure. So chipping away from streamers and the personalities Back more towards games really cool released information. You know it was announced last week I think it was pokemon sword and shield getting a big expansions them one in June two thousand twenty. That's called the Isle of Armor and the other one has a hard date yet but it set for fall of twenty twenty and it's called Crown Crown of Tundra So that's pretty cool. Cool thirty bucks gets you both. You can preorder that now. It's deal to a great deal for based on the media. Yeah based on what I've been reading over. Two hundred. Existing listing pokemon being brought in in the crown of Tundra. There's a ton of legendary that are being added like older legendary. He's so to new to new areas is whole night. I even think I read somewhere that to be some new POKEMON Specific to those areas too. So you'll get some existing pokemon in that two hundred so I think it's over two hundred existing and then there's GonNa be a handful maybe of new POK Mon.. Who is it like conflict our version of so I don't know actually so Lisa Goulard slow? Poke which yeah catch right now. I think he got added in in Pokemon game. Now because I I'm still new and playing the game I went to a station because someone said hey go to the stations and so and so so I did and some lady talk my how she's going to the Isle of armor something you have an update in their talks and then a slow. Poke rolls out that you can catch. And it's called like a Google are slow. Poke which I think is to them. It's clone coat new by not shortage so that might specific specific one from what I was reading said new. You know. So I think you're going to parse out that that new yet so you knew it'd be cool but if it's just like a region-specific specific then you know that is what it is too but I mean those are still cool to like the region. Uh the GAL or specific wheezing coughing like those are different Those are Kinda cool so yeah so I think I think this is interesting. Because when sword and shield I was announced and we Kinda we talked about it a little bit on on the podcast and we had mentioned like with it coming to national console. Are they going to release you games every two years or however long. It's been or they just going to basically expand off the the base of Sword Shield and just keep giving. DLC's because they could go either way really I was talking about this with one one of my coworkers. Actually that plays sword and shield. And you know we were kind of throwing around ideas like yeah you can do games. They'll be just continuations. Ktar news stories new stories. Or whatever the you know. It'll be the same model that they've been using up until this point so they'll do games new starters new regions potentially early Yada Yada Yada or you know they use sort of shield is just kind of the backbone and they built around it and kind of each new. DLC He is essentially like it's its own new game and you know same realm. Yeah but they give new regions and you know we were talking and we're like well how do you how do you counteract Iraq like you have your massive your star Pokemon. They're all level or you have your team. And they're all hundred how'd you. How'd you manage that when bringing your or character to a new region to basically start a new quote unquote game and he actually brought something up? which I thought was kind of interesting chester? If you're listening to this at all this is one hundred percent year idea But he said you know with the game with the with the regions that they have set up and they basically institute like some sort of MM immigration or or import like hang up like. Oh you're coming into a new region until we until we clear your poke him on. We have to. We have to keep them basically like it's sort of like how you do with invasive species now in the real world like you can't just bring any animal you want to any country in to some extent they have to go through immigration and earn immigration but Whatever it's called Import Export Yada Yada Yada? So it'd be kind of cool if if they did something like that like you go to a new region like the gala regions. What they're in now and they're like okay? Cool like the next regions the whatever region like travel there the plane to start your next ventures roll off with with you. Get there get there. They're like hey we have to take your broker scam you know. Make sure that they're not bringing in anything. It gets a little more. I think it stays a little bit away from the kid. The kid aspect to poke him on the kid friendly they can they can make kid wise. Yeah and then and basically you have to choose your own new you choose a new starter. You do the new starter. You go gyms but as you beat gyms you unlock the ability to get your old pokemon backs Axa League through the fifth. Jim You get like three out of your five or take certain level Aurea Jiming get level twenties. Yeah let me super fucking high by then so yeah but I just think that's kind of an interesting idea that they're probably going to go the new game every couple of years years is because they make more money doing it that way and I I was also thinking like this would be a cool way to go to because then they could keep everything everything in one system they could update it. You know just does over the air via the Internet Yada Yada Yada all that stuff. I just thought that was cool. You know we got talking and I was like. That's a really cool idea. I don't you know in my heart hearts. I don't think they're going to do that now. I mean definitely be cool. Yeah I like the game. They have now now. I'd like them. Keep building on in these. Two new expansion packs are definitely building on it. I didn't know they're gonNA drop so fast and for it to be so big honey there he it looks large All extra on they're bringing in and then you make the game harder to. They need to have some sort of way the game more challenging a choose a difficulty goatee setting like that to like one setting changes so oh yes so so pokemon trainers would act how I would act like if I die and you don't throw go on like that or it's just is they're using lear. Tail Wall Yeah. I was just going to say that like like I never in so I don't AH competitively battle battle generally against any human opponents and so I think you know if you were to do battles titles against a human opponent online battle system like I'm of the mindset that those types of status moving you know the status affecting moves moves are probably more important when fighting other humans. Because you know you're thinking through the the chattel a lot differently but yeah as far as a you know now as me being me playing against the computer. I never keep any of those all attacks if I can't use damage I'm not keeping it and so I think that's a good point for are for the computer to like. Yeah you fight. So many people where they're just like tail whip tail whip tail whip and then tackle and you're like why what it's about your computer your computer. Yeah exactly so there are some things I think. They need to do to make the game a little bit or difficult And and there's a lot of complaints about the wild area. I was just some giant open area with not a whole lot to do in. The graphics aren't all that great so there's a lot of things that they probably are going to want to stakes extended game. You know different types. pokemon round area for finally in the Torch Variety Pokemon was really nice. I can see how it's nothing it's just a play catch POK mon but yeah this is a good place to I think like this was kind of the expansion. Pack was foreseeable because when when the game I came into play. Because it's not every single game like I mean. Obviously 'cause they probably want to save you've everyone for.

"Always they always bag on him and slashes. Tim's ask them like how do you get to click on this button. And then you're GonNa Click Click on this button. And then you've got to click over here to this button and and Tim's always just like are you kidding me like what the hell you gotTa make their live streaming easier easier fine. I don't understand how you can't go to youtube page there. There'd be a buddy alive there. Yeah like yeah yeah. Oh He's live. Let's go now. That to me makes no sense how that's not our implemented. I mean we we. That's like that would be the easiest way to do. But honestly just typing encouraged a D.. Sasha alive is not that hard either It just people people want to click. You know. That's the biggest thing because like all these big streamers all these big youtubers have their our own unique. Url for their Youtube Channel. So really all you gotta do is add the slash live too. So that's not really that hard. It is sort of an inconvenience than I can understand. I mean in from a practical standpoint dishes stupid that they don't have like a live tab or like you know you're on their homepage and what it says all their videos you can be like video playlist Blah Blah and then there's just a a red live thing that's only there when there live you click. That brings him right to the two for the people to I guess for the streamers to be to be discovered. Say you find a channel that you love their contact. Oh these videos are amazing this that and you might have noted the stream if the uh-huh yeah they'd have live button thing they can clearly. Hey we see you watch these things by the way this person streams live right now. Oh cool I'm GONNA go check it out and whom this person who enjoys videos can become a member of Washington shrimps like it right now if you just watch videos. There's nothing to direct them to their lives. So it's kind of a missed opportunity for sent dreamer who has a lot of us. Maybe get some. It's always sure I think it's something they're we're working on. I would have. I would something they're working on. I believe because when I was on H.. Encourages podcast. I think he mentioned something something to that. Effect like. Yeah we're working on it like it's we realize this is before courage jumped think and They just came up in conversation in general and pushes like yeah. We're working on. You know we really want to. He's I understand that the setups not ideal deal. Yeah we want to work it out. We WanNa make it. So it's more streamlined. And Yada Yada Yada so I would imagine that. Someone's working on it or a team of people are working on it. I Youtube Hoop so rest assured that something of that nature is probably coming musical. It makes sense on penalty streamers Iga better-paying Bishop money to get developers. Just good. Yeah Yeah not just the best streaming website you could possibly Fi- you know they're gonNa have you spending money on that stuff. Yeah Oh yeah so. Yeah so radio you to. It's interesting from multiple standpoints first. Big Big female streamer to jump second one hundred thieves member jump so there's things that look out on both sides of that situation another kind of interesting thing. streamer related related so apparently T- fu buying a warehouse to build space to be able to coach and train. New Streamers which I think's pretty funny Um I don't really know what did you mean by train streamers like I don't know 'cause streaming and interesting trimmings and interesting talent. It's a lot like stand up. Comedian like you be clean. You can't teach allied. Yeah you can't really teach the personality you can teach the the business behind. What Yeah Ooh and and you can teach how to play games better And you can teach like how to have a good setup or like a good you know overlay a good a good like screen presentation but you can't really teach the personality to be someone that's going to attract other people watch you know what I mean hundred degree. It's like let's say like Doc. I love dogs setup. All the green screens are hilarious. But if you take me place him he's amazing setup like shore. You're in an area with great overlays rates up there so that but you can only teach. You can't really teach so much the personality so I'd be sitting okay. Let's go to the gym. Oh Doc Copper is eight you can only teach them you can teach them all these good always there so that but that only gets you so far still comes down big time personality this to that having that stage presence one could say so. Yeah it's one hundred. She's going to like I think it's just going to divulge into his money. Training people be buried gamers but when he left phase. I don't know if his Hamer's brothers said it but I feel like if someone said he wanted to make his own or which I don't know if it was was it teeth who senate or his nose Tif who says that he wanted he wouldn't mind doing something like making making his own org. It's just going to like kind of star as Hayes for streamers and there's GonNa solve slowly just kinda almost landslide is not bad thing but it's just going to all slowly alter into him making I teach people how to be better gamers in it just going into a possible. New Org is is how I which which isn't bad either like like going into the way I look at something like a you know the way I would look at a business decision like that as you know the it shouldn't be built in a sense that like well if we can't teach people how to stream we can always easily pivot into teaching people how to game. Can you should go into your business decision having everything clearly outlined and saying well. This is what we're GONNA do can't be done one and if it can't be done why the fuck are we doing it so yell for all the things we've mentioned. I don't think you can really teach someone how to be a streamer because even even the things I mentioned like the more technical the more hard hard pressed technical things like the things that you can actually teach someone how to do like even a lot of that stuff's built on personality. DOC has all those different screens. Greens because that's his personalities personality as a sort of a secret agent archer billionaire type of person. That's that's the that's the persona that he projects projects and so that's why all those different screens are built the way that they are. That's why he has all those different transitions and all those different scenes like I mentioned already. You know whereas you you don't have all the different things because that's not really your personality so you're GonNa have a different setup so teaching someone how to do the Photoshop to build you know Photoshop for the illustrator the element whatever program you use to build your overlays and stuff like that is one thing. But that's at that point. That's just a graphic design. Agree more or less you know and thi foods not a graphic artist graphic graphics artists or anything like that so like. That's a whole do you know. Because it's it's a matter of you know teaching someone how to use the programs to build it and then they've got to use their personality and how they come across on stream to build an overlay that fits their personality. And so you can't really teach that Kinda Shit so so this whole idea is really stupid in a couple ways because one it's could be an initial initial gye waste of money because you're going to teach people stream and and then They don't they find out that you can't really do that. And they're like okay well. We'll pivot into teaching kids. Play Games better and all releases playing fortnight. Better you know in my I mind. I know he's a good game or in general but you know how how you play four nights now you play Pudgy and that's not how you play blackout so those are three and it's not how you play apex. See those are four battle royale us. You know. You're all within the same battle royale genre which you play those games all very differently so teaching. You can't just that's another thing. Teaching mm video games as from genre basis even within the Genre Games change how. You're gonNA approach things so there's a lot of moving parts with that the idea. That could go wrong fast. And it's an interesting. I'd like to see some form of onnell layout or like it's one thing but hey I'm going to do this now. I want him to come all right. I'm going to this and this is how we're GONNA go about it. I'm just curious to see what he's a business plan like every other buck in person the world needs to happen before they start a business yeah market research like I want to teach me obese streamers and this is how we'll do we'll. Yeah so that like I'll just when that comes out with if it comes that's interesting to see to read about like. How can I like your idea hiring about doing this? 'cause teaching someone to do this I it's it's it's tough but it should. It's very strange thing to teach on who you're going to who you're going to get to teach him like yeah in hymns and they're doing exactly accuracy everyone not everyone's going to build a stream or B B. Same onscreen person that he is you know and other people who or different personalities than him. Yes but half the time if if he's trying to get other people that are big personalities than really what we should be hiring as other big streamers. Because if you're not a big streaming for yourself how are you going to teach people to be extremely seriously like I'm your teacher streamed at twenty people get out of here. Yeah exactly so it's So there's a lot of interesting pieces that need to fall into place and you said about having a plan like I would like to see or hear or watch his business business plan in some way shape or form. Because I think it's funny because how he he had mentioned your own than the whole face kind of happened. He had mentioned he was maybe interested in starting his own. ORC Work is data also came out and said that his dad wanted to do something just like what. They're what this is right now but bring people from Korea like women like female streamers from Korea. two states and like give them a place to stream or like give them the facilities to stream and teach them how to stream better because the the population the is viewership is so much higher in China and Korea that there's so much room to capitalize on putting out a good streamer aamer out in that market because there's just so much untapped. Talent like untapped viewers females. While why do you think because every fucking knows advanced. Female Streamers are much easier grapefruit dad to say. Yeah because they're all on family surfer Bros.. Yeah I read that somewhere. Am I always always serious like his dad's. Actually that was one hundred. I mean from what I read. Yeah so who knows. I mean this whole idea of you. Know this whole idea of him wanting to buy a warehouse space could transition into that like we're GONNA teach female Asian streamers how to screen better. It's like this could get real creepy really fast us. Yeah it's a lot of metoo happening in that and frigging house raid on. God I know. Yeah the go-to Bro Swedish. Teaching screamers looking man. What the COPS? What the fuck? It doesn't mean you have drugs. Do you have any drugs here. KNOB.

"Welcome back ladies and gentlemen to another episode of the Wke podcast episode number twelve coming at you the second episode of the New Year. How the hell are you? How's your year? You're going so far. Ours is great with US always. My Name's Josh. My Trusty Co host is Matt Ak Technique. Hey doing they're always plugging. We are added again. Almost the end of January dropping the second episode of the year so far. Ruc's being great We've had a lot of lot of good stuff happening. There's been a lot of interesting things happening gaming wise to which is pretty cool Some also some some disheartening things but I think the positive take on some of the some of the bad things in my mind which will talk about a little bit in the episode. So we're we're just GONNA jump right into it first things first solutions courage also so I would say yeah. Coke is right up there these two these two are kind of like they're big. They're big names so it's like the first huge you judge female domino first Schumer has fallen and she's going to join her fellow hundred thieves mate courage Red Youtube. Which I think is pretty interesting? If you ask me it is interesting and you know. Yeah she I would say she's the first big female female streamer to make a jump like he walks for sure are not not nearly on the level. That pokey your vow gray is on. I think pokey still God falcone by you know just in the she's got some outside. Decide things like Vaccari just streams for the most part obviously one hundred three hundred thousand which is arguably probably the biggest sports organization on on the planet right now. So there's that in that kind of gives her big spoke. He's got a lot of outside things. She's got her own clothing line and Yada Yada so she's got. I think has got a lot more inner portfolio compared to Ray. But it's still a huge jump and taking a little bit longer than I think. Either of US thought it would for like a big female streamer to make a jump. So that's kind of interesting. I figured it would happen. Would have happened sooner. Nephew like signing streamers contracts in general has slowed down a little bit it has been leaked to like wasn't I think some reporter or someone posted a article about it and kind of yeah. I didn't look into one hundred percent. I appreciate her someone to some information. They put a thing out saying it was going to happen and she just like instantly dropped opt her announcement video she prepared like yeah. I am going to do this so he kind of pushed her announcement along instead of like letting this guy clout and recognition for his article. He she just kind of destroyed him but he's like. Yeah well he's my video so everyone just walks that now instead. Yeah that's interesting because I didn't happen to see anything about that. All I saw was her. You know everyone's doing these announcement. Things like huge announcement coming tomorrow at twelve. PM Pacific Time so all. I really saw was her doing that. Announcement thing you know. And I figured there's a lot of streamers that are doing that for like their clothing launches or like you know new partnerships with stuff like that so I figured maybe because honestly I didn't. It's always always today was never really on my radar for for a jump. Yeah so not that. She's not like big enough to warrant a platform. I'm coming after her and giving her a lot of money just for some reason I just. She's she's so like she's so nice and like you know. Just just the the nicest person that whenever I've watched her stream that I just I just didn't think she would have the business savvy to that she's little streaming so she just chugs along instictive. I guess kind of looking for. Yeah but at the same time. She's got a she's got a team behind her. And obviously hundred thesis there too so so that you know from I'm from my perspective. That was sort of a naive way to look at things but Yeah it's interesting so I saw. I saw the announcement and then obviously that next day and I thought it was funny and kind of like a sidetrack. Die Something on twitter. I can't remember who is from but it was just kind of like joking. On the fact that these streamers spend spend like tons of money to make their announcement videos they're like they're like quality like you know movie level like trailers dealers are like what you'd consider. Yeah exactly which I think is kind of funny because it is true like they've put a lot of she put a lot of money. I wanted imagine imagine. She put a lot of money or someone put a lot of money to that that trailer that announcement video because it was really good. Quality was an interest video for sure. I think it's interesting that she's as the second member of hundred thieves to move the only reason I say that is because you know whether or not anyone listening is familiar with the fact but nate shot is actually really really good. Friends with Wiz Ryan wiz quizzes. Online name Ryan Ryan something. I forget his last name but he is the head of Youtube gaming so there is some interesting listing connections there. I feel like because of the fact that two people to members of of these have jumped to YouTube. I'm not saying that every members going to but I would sort of lean more now on the fact that may be more are going to jump shot himself my couple you know like cease this. Elevate Ella all these contracts and going out to single streamers single personality people so like what's the to me like what's the next logical step from going from signing single streamers and accept that is to sign organizations to stream deal so I you say not everyone going to go to youtube. I mean yeah. I highly doubt it's going to happen in for an entire Org force thing all their employees essentially to go stream on this one platform. But I mean it's definitely a possibility. You go from next step you you go from. Signing single streamers entire org to hey your squad or streaming exclusively on our platform day. Let's do this so I won't be surprised if it happened but like you said it's definitely it's definitely a interesting though. Get Young two hundred people. To high level hundred. `This members are the highest of the con- yeah creators for leaving leaving twitch in both going to the same platform I mean obviously obviously they talk they all talk of courage to her ear nature got into her ear there in the OSCE they live together so on name conversation going stuff. Don't thought I thought they all moved into new hundred now so they moved one hundred got a new content creation house house Valkyrie. boobed out to the sunny and hot actually moved out to so jack is in the new the house right now I think yeah I think it's just courage Unless they unless they've got Other content creators adnew people well nonetheless they did live together. I'm sure they did. They weren't if you watch the video over. Yeah exactly and if you watch that his announcement video he again she says it's a little like Super Inaki innocuous line and she might have already known back then that she was making the jump but she said well. If Jack's leaving I'm leaving too so funny everyone's like coming back through the house. Like Oh my God. She told us way back then. So I thought Douse these deals. Do I feel like I mean because like the deals can get done before then but then they wait for their contract with their current so obviously she was probably on contract. Maybe until now and then all right. I've I had this deal done for months on end and now you can finally do it. 'cause my deal twitches done so they could have had it all figured out back then so little circling back to your your comment about the organic side. I mean I think it's possible because right now what's happening is the streamers getting signed by the platform platforms paying streamer. What could happen? Is the platform sons. Your gives your a ton of money the them the order. Just take that money and gives it to the streamer. Mr So you know it's just however it's just at that point it's just. How is the money changing hands? And but and then that makes that that makes your decision of what or to go to also have some way to because yeah because you have to decide what platform stream on now. I do think that it's probably unlikely that that's going to shift to something like that. Because if you have someone who is a massive streamer on twitch they decide they want to jump to an org and and then they have to go to YouTube. Because that's the orchestra exclusion YouTube. You're losing all that follows that streamer becomes you know not that stream comes not as valuable as that's tour. She says that's where I'm hesitant to say. The next big thing is shying or obviously streamers are GonNa want to stream to where they can get I guess the most the numbers or this or that. So that's one hangup is if a streamers huge on twitch and they won't scientist or but this can only on youtube it's like well. I don't really want to do that by won't be. There's Org so to me. That's that's the one big hold up. Stop for Org from yeah. It's been signed by Ben Platforms and you can see like what's happened with. Engine Shroud with their jump. The mixer their numbers have gone down and so when you are a streamer and you build your community on one platform signing with a new organization. You know that's a huge boost because that organization has a lot of loyal followers but at the same time. Is that enough to make up for what you're losing by having to jump platforms so it's it's it's an interesting thought and it might happen in the future But I mean I would agree with you. It's somewhat hesitant to kind of really back. That idea just is because you would be you know the organ assign a streamer for X.. Amount of dollars but then the minute they make them jump to a different platform they instantly lose. That's a losing deal for the ORG because that that streamers not going to have the biggest following that that that streamer did before they made the jump so so yeah I can see something. I guess long lines of not forcing like all your people in your orchestra on a single platform. But you can just feel like we are a hundred. Three's we are affiliated societas supported by Youtube Gaming. I it can be sponsored by Youtube. Gaming could sponsor that sponsored you can kind of sponsor or but not to make all your member exclusivity acidity contracts. Yeah I can see kind of starting at all yeah. It's kind of interesting so it's kind of cool to see how twenty twenty plays out hundred thieves as a whole because I mean If more people more people jumped in I mean it's just it's Nice it's nice to mix up the streaming world because We talked we've talked about a bunch of times especially whenever a big streamer jumps. We always say competitions good. It's good for twitch to get some competition it's good for you. You know mixture to get some some Some big streamers as good for you too because you tubes already got so much going forward as far as just the video of flogging all you know what youtube known for but then building their streaming side of the house is really important for them and they're going to funny to throw around to Youtube number second is which was Kinda surprised by those mixer wasn't second but all these contracts coming on youtube actually second go yeah right and they get the money to throw around. They got all that Google money to throw. Yeah so yeah I mean like you said to me like if I was the bigger streamer honestly I think I would probably make up to youtube just because obviously every streamer has a youtube channel that they the highlights. There's that too so to me. It kind of makes sense to have everything could sell want air. You got streaming here and you've got your videos your Youtube Channel News here so to me. I think you know going you to Kinda makes sense or bigger people. Yeah I think it does too I think they need to streamline some things like defined live. It's very difficult. Like you can go to their their youtube page but it doesn't always show it like right at the top. Always try look for like courage team or something done pop. NCI See I was going off your goddamn seeing different buttons to get there. It's the type it in top. It's like Youtube. Dot Com courage g slash live..
