How the Left Covers for Criminals

"These policies that sound cute to mindless non critically thinking people are getting people hurt, you don't need to broadcast to the entire state of Washington that we would no longer pursue if you're driving over a 100 mph. That can be a police intern. You know, we never put it out as a memo when I was on the Tucson police department. But we didn't pursue people for certain crimes in the city limits. If you're outside city limits, man, your butt is ours. But in the city limits, if you haven't committed an act of violence against another person, meaning a felony, crime gets another person that was violent if it was just property damage that was felonious, then we wouldn't chase you. But the criminals didn't know that. They thought we were chasing any day of the week all the time. But when they get woken, they start doing this fake transparency stuff, they get people killed. If a person knew that the police officer would pursue them, they probably wouldn't be driving a 110 mph, 111 mph. And if the police can't pursue them, they'll be able to stop and pit maneuver them and prevent them from killing people.

"Two children dead after Democrat back law prohibits police from pursuing suspects driving a hundred, a 111 miles per hour, Washington sheriff sounds the alarm on the Democrat backed law that Barr's police officers from certain vehicular chases after two children were tragically killed by a suspect driving more than a 100 mph. Now, let me just read the quote here. It says, I've been doing this. I'm going on 27 years. I have never seen anything like this in my day and age. He told and I believe this is sheriff, had told the person from the news. He says, I like to think in western Washington state. We did a pretty good job prior to this legislation of managing our police pursuits, but when the politicians and Olympia got involved and changed the way we do business, it's just not working out.

"But how do we find that balance? And I think that's where I'm hitting here with the show. Is I want to have a balance between awareness and a balance between empowering you. And so you're going to start to see that being reflected in the content that is coming up. All right? I've got some wonderful people that are coming up all different kinds of walks of life and experiences and stuff like that, right? But the other thing, the third thing here, and it's kind of like a part of the empowerment side of things, kind of straddles both lines. Is I really want us to start having conversations about solutions. What solutions do we see? And I can tell you that we need to start putting aside a lot of these. Opposing views. Let's put it that way. Right? Because if anything over the last couple of years, what we've seen is divide and conquer, which is the oldest war strategy in the book, divide and conquer. And how many people are sitting in different camps, right? How many people have disowned family members have got divorced have broken up? Their relationships have been disowned by their children. What a tragedy. The idea of left versus right of Democrats or Republicans or liberals or whatever, these are old antiquated ideas. These polar opposites, we just need to forget about these things to be quite Frank. Because what we're faced with here is we are faced with multiple events and situations that are all steamrolling forward at the same time. And the consequences are going to be quite real for us unless we are prepared. And so that's another thing. I want to, and I've started doing this over the last 8 months or so. Is I would encourage you to consume some of this information and the craziness that's going on in the world. And respond out of a place of preparedness, respond from a place of contemplation and without fear without anxiety. Because as soon as we can let go of the fear, let go of that anxiety, we start thinking rationally, we remain present, and we can make better decisions. But more than that, we can make these decisions from a place of preparedness, and we can actually feel good about these things. And I can tell you from my own personal experience, I've been diagnosed.

"Attention, our energy, our focus is split, we're never really focusing fully on one thing. And this brings me to something I mentioned earlier in this recording. I've sat with over the last while. What is my position here? What is my role? What have I been doing? Over the last couple of years, and I can tell you what my intentions, my intentions of pure, my intentions have been to help people make sense of certain things. To push back and to fire up that activist streak that I have in me to stand up for justice to stand up for what is right. That has been my intention. But something that I don't think I realized was I didn't realize that perhaps some of the information that I'm releasing has made people very fearful. Has made people full of anxiety. You know, a friend of mine said something to me and I said, oh, I'm going to change up the content for the podcast. I feel like a change. I feel like something fresh. And you know what she said to me, she said, oh, to put out more positive stuff? And that kind of took me aback a little bit. I was like, wow, are you saying that I put out negative stuff? And that was interesting, and it opened up an interesting conversation, because it's one thing, you know, when we create awareness, I think, and I said this before on the show, it's very important for us, you know, we're not running away. There's nowhere to run to with this. All right? You know, I don't expats that have fled the country that are sitting in Mexico, drinking pina coladas. And they don't care ultimately about what goes on anywhere else, so long as I'm okay, that's really what matters and let me tell you, there is no escape for anyone here. And what we're doing, what we really need to be doing is we need to be having honest conversations about what's going on, I think that there's an incredible amount isn't a great opportunity here for us to be doing a lot of inner work, and that's really what I've been focused on myself over the last while is really working on my inner development on my spirituality. Because there's no running away. So, but coming back to what I was talking about. I've had to wonder to myself, have I been instilling more fear and more anxiety into people with some of the information that I've been sharing. And if I have, if that's you and you're listening to this, I will say, I'm deeply sorry..

"Information on getting emotionally and mentally invested in all of this and then hitting the pavement or shouting this from the rooftops, with no outcome. This is another core component here. There's no outcome. Right? I can't control what's happening out there in the world. Neither can you. I can't control what happens in Russia or the Ukraine. My social media posts are not going to do it, make any difference. Yes, I can add my voice. Yes, I can lend my concerns. Yes, I can tell people how I feel. Absolutely. But here's the thing. Is what I've noticed and this has happened to me. I've done this. Is we put this content out there, we put this awareness out there and we keep doing it. But a lot of times we're coming from fear, a place of fear, we're coming from a place of anger, and we're desperately hoping that these types of actions and the things that we're doing and the things that we're sharing are going to make this major cataclysmic difference where we have the spontaneous awakening of humanity. And I'm just not so sure that it does that. And I don't have an answer for you here. I'm just sharing my thoughts. The other way that we can cope with all of this is we can bury our heads in the sand. And we can just pretend like we don't know it, right? I can go back to sleep. And what's interesting is, I've kind of done a little bit of that. But I've done it intentionally. And I'm still tapped into a lot of different groups and information streams and stuff like that where I'm getting this information, but I've made a conscious effort to not stay glued to this information. One, and two, I've really made a conscious effort to not be attached to the outcome of this information. Which is a real fundamental teaching of Buddhism. Okay, so we can be passionate. We can be interested. We can do our part,.

"Start paying attention to this is we are being bombarded with narrative warfare on multiple different vectors. Okay? Just to give you some examples, right? So of course, now we have the Russia Ukraine war. And that's still going on. We saw the Will Smith incident right at the Oscars. I mean, that actually occupied a week or two weeks of air time, believe it or not, which was crazy. We've seen other things. So now COVID's kind of made its way back in. We've got the 6th wave, Joe Biden, Justin Trudeau, some of these leaders talking about food shortages, right? So that's on there. Of course, climate change ever present, right? So climate change is there. And the point of all of this is to essentially instill more fear into us, but ultimately make us more confused. And when people are confused, we are essentially powerless, because we're confused. We don't know what to believe. We don't know what decisions to make. We don't know what things are in our best interests. And ultimately, ultimately, it leaves us very, very scrambled and really not sure what to believe. And I think that's where we're at right now. So I think that when just gauging the temperature out there, I think most people are kind of done with the COVID conversation. Right, most people just regular people, if you ask, most people on the street, they're just done. They don't want to talk about COVID anymore. And I'm not certainly not going to spend any amount of time here talking about this right now because I'll get to what I'm getting to in a minute. But the point being is that off to two years, people have seen what's happened, they've watched things go down in real time, and what we where we're at right now is we are in the slow period, right? So if you take a look at what's going on in some countries in the world, particularly here in Canada, and the U.S., we are now in the 6th wave of COVID. And omicron. And what's interesting is when you start paying attention to it all, we moved from vaccines are going to stop the pandemic..

Or maybe even isaac does but certainly abraham but he gets a lot more attention in genesis like does joseph come up a lot more in the bible and just missing it. Because i don't feel like he's a mega character for the rest of the storyline. Tae do you want to answer. Kyle's question now. Yeah he's he's my favorite type of christ in all of scripture. Yup yup. I mean it. Just take the of how the story just takes. Its time and it leaves no opportunity to connect behind and so i don't disagree with that that it feels like his name should come out more doesn't it doesn't come up as much for the rest of. Certainly abraham and moses those are outsized figures but like. We don't hear a lot of references. At least that. I can remember. And i have a genuine question. I don't know if you guys know the answer this. Since i know how much prep we all put in. Before we do these episodes this will be off the top of our heads but Do you think significance to the fact that There are two key figures in the gospels related to the life of jesus your name joseph his father joseph and joseph of arimathea. Just talk about well. Certainly in the jewish tradition naming your children. But that's but why those characters specifically do you think are linked In in in our mind are meant to be linked in our minds to this joseph or are they a bible brain can't get there what was do either joseph's dad's name Jesus's dad joseph Let me look talk amongst yourselves. Hasn't come immediately. it's mind but that would that. Would i think be if he knew he was. But while you guys are looking for that if we're talking about topologies specifically as it relates to joseph. I mean so we'll see what's incredible is. We haven't really gotten to this text yet and we'll get into the rest of this episode of next but like he's having these dreams of power in ruling and he's going to be the one who rules over his brothers and his pathway of getting there is not the way that you would think of him getting there right. He's he's sorry gentle she's ready. I have to tell you. I have never noticed this before. You know what joseph father's name is jacob. It's jacob i think that's that's that's that's crazy that's nuts carries in joseph stats off. What i'm saying well and and i don't. I don't think it occurred to me either until this moment that we're talking about it. Where the the joseph. Joseph jesus's father is there at the moment of his birth joseph. The era of mathea. Is there burial. You basically have a man name. Man named joseph ushering him into the world and a man named joseph. Ushering him out of the land of the living in his kiss. Me goosebumps broadcast this nine in his path to rulership is much like joseph's path to rulers right like they take a really similar course he's kind of like is still through in like this. You can't see him right now. Like unable how guns any words is hanging down. This is going to be superfund seriously. I think this is my favorite story in all of the bible. And that's saying how much are we getting into it into in this story like. Should we start about basically shook. I love how our audience is like why they've really got a plan here. Like nobody knows whether stopping the episode. No no no no no this basically. We're just getting to the cell of joseph into slavery now. Okay so we're we're almost there so when you think about genesis as a whole The book of genesis begins with the murder of a brother and it ends with a brother who is almost murdered but rather than Coming back with vengeance to kill his brothers. He extends freedom to them very whether they sold into slavery their slow down slow down. We're getting to the end but but but but one of my favorite Kind of crystal g passages is philippians chapter two this is much like joseph's sewri the one who has promised to reign and rule rather than grasping for it. He relinquishes it it has this path of descent so you have Joseph sold into slavery enduring unbelievable hardship in rising to rulership in a way that you would never expect way that he does rule over his father and mother and his brothers and he's the kind of ruler whose eventually going to extend grace and forgiveness them which to your point. Jen is this crystal. Aji typology here joseph story. There's even i know. I know we're getting into this later. There's a lot to think about. He has some clothing patterns. Oh we're gonna talk about we'll wait. We'll wait but there's a lyle kyle still thinking about this josephson honestly. I'm kind of tearing up like the bible is so wonderful. This is this is when people are like. I don't know if it's a thing. And i'm like the more you're in it the more you find how. It's not just the disconnected. It is seamlessly and and in so many layers Connected that i'm like this is this can't be a coincidence. And there's a couple of take from that. I i mean the human authors are literary moses is doing beautiful literary artwork The right word here to tie these stories together to give us and frame us a perspective. What god is doing redemptive history but also this is clearly inspired biblical text by the holy spirit that the holy spirit is not just tying things together through one human author moses in the five books the pentateuch but he's using matthew and luke mark john paul to tie things together in a way that perhaps there are always aware of but also maybe perhaps in ways that they weren't aware of because there's a beauty of what they were writing that perhaps they weren't conscious of join.

"Putting jacob putting this to death. Yeah well. I mean it's It does say buried. I think in other translations actually. And i think that the way we the the sort of the clue that we can find the tech contextual clue to find out whether it's one or the other thing is that were were hitting a series of funerals in the next chapters and so this is the first funeral that we see and it is a burial of the idols. But it's a little bit of a record scratch moment when out of the blue and verse two he says put away the foreign gods that are among you because it's kind of like wait. What 'cause like we knew that rachel had some in her saddle bag but now we find out. Apparently there were quite a number of saddlebags that were filled with these household. Gods and jacob is making the connection that their idolatry is a factor in the way that they are not thriving at this current time So he's gone back to the place that he is supposed to go to And he's trying to turn to right What he should. But there's this great irony of god's people worshipping idols in the promised land so he holds a funeral and he holds a funeral funeral under a tree. A terrible three which would have been a place of idol worship so basically bury them in the place where they would have been worshipped so it says they journeyed from there and a terror from god fell upon the cities that were around them so they do not pursue the sons of jacob so god gives them like his grace and in in in prayer circle. Talk a hedge of protection right to protect him. I always tell people if they had your protection. I'm like can we think of something a little bit stronger than a hedge thorny hedge also kind of like a mini exodus story to if you're if you're leaving the land of exile in order to enter the promised land in god destroys or terrifies your enemies behind you allowing you safe passage and topple the foreign gods. Exactly yeah that's good it's good. Jacob comes the bethel in the land of canaan he builds an altar because god revealed himself to him when he fled from his brother. It says that deborah rebecca's nurse died. She was buried there under an oak and it says then god appear to jacob when it came from patent ram and blessed him. And what do we hear again. We hear basically a rear titillation of the same promise. We have heard again and again and again he gets a promise that god is going to be with him. as president. He gets a promise. He's going to be a great people. he gets a promise. That god's going to give him this place that he's in this land and all of that so that they would exercise god's purposes that they would be fruitful and multiply they would rule and cultivating and subdue. So we hear all of this again and it says that he when god had went up from him in the place where it spoken. Jacob pours out a drink offering on it. And jacob called the name of the place where got it spoke with him bethel so this is a worship moment divide encounter between jacobson god and a place where they have encountered each other before and even after all that jacob has done god is still telling him. I'm gonna go with you You're going be my people. I'm giving you this place and all of that to reflect me in the world. That shouldn't alarm us that we have already seen him. Renamed and now. We're seeing this happen again. Like what are we supposed to take from that for. Just a understanding. Did he lose his salvation. Like what is this. How do we make that fit the narrative. Most i i mean i could be wrong. But most commentators said this is just a reiteration of the name that he's already been given that in previous instances where he's being called jacob again. It's something his name is changed. It's just that they're calling him. Jacob beginning here is a remembrance. Her reiteration Obviously if i can find exactly who said that but you guys pontificate for minute to well. We haven't heard god call jacob's something other than israel we Now an emphatic. You know what. That's a good point because in chapter thirty four god is even in chapter thirty four like completely drops out of the narrative for sure and said then we see him enter back into the narrative in genesis. Thirty five. and there's this renaming thing so maybe a good way to. I don't know if this is like a this could be reading too much into it because maybe it is. Just that god was calling. Jacob israel and israel was who he was going to bring it was going to bring israel through jacob and subsequently jacob is israel or the father figure had or had a head of house or whatever of israel. But maybe what's happening here. Is that Jakup behavior in the life of the world had not yet conformed to the name and purpose. The eminem relation of like you are not supposed to be the jakup who sat passively by with dina You're you're supposed to be israel. And this is what you're supposed to do. You're supposed to be fruitful. And multiply and be a company of nations and a ruler. And all of these other things. This great figurehead. Like abraham and isaac right. This is your lineage. it is just a rearticulating. A reminder to jacob of you're not living into your covenants blessings. And i think that i it's it's like. Jt was saying it's all of these allegations we've seen to abraham of the covenant into isaac. It's like the these constant reminders of hey. Don't forget who you are where you're going in wire here. Even though you're gonna do dumb things like send your wife into you know pharaoh's harem or Into a harem. Or all these kooky things that we see. Abraham isaac and jacob doing that would seem to disqualify them or or or make them not the one on him. God has said his favor and god keeps reminding them no. It's still you and this is still the plan. I think it's pretty sweet picture of how he deals with us. Actually if we're looking at the Verse where it talks about. Gosh where was verse five when they set out a tariff from god came over them in the cities around them. And they number c jacobsen's if we see that maybe as a mini exodus story. Not people in exile coming back through the promised land. God stops deliver them from their enemies and other entering into this promised land. This is where he should have been. We should have not had the story and check him. We should should not have been there worshipping false idols and connects. You could see this as y- was going to say more like a birth narrative again. You have gods people being being identified. It's not clear there's no water here about trying to make something out of it. That's not there but you have you have it being reiterated the land that promised you you're becoming the people in the person that i've called you to be. You are not jacob your israel. I wonder if that has something to do with it. Their it happening. Here's here's how longman says he says the narrator again informs us about jacob's name change change was actually instituted in genesis. Thirty two and we're likely to understand this as a reiteration of that moment rather than a second time however perhaps it's repeated here because now jacob has fully moved into the land that god has given them. So there's there's there's probably some kind of connection to he's in bethel. This is the land that god has given to abraham isaac and israel. And that's that's going to inherit the land with his sons schedule so moving from here. It's as they journey from bethel when they were still some distance from effort rachel went into labor and she had hard labor and labor was at its heart as the midwife said to her do not fear for you have another son and as her soul was Partying she called his name minone but his father called him. Benjamin social died. She was buried on the way to effort. That has bethlehem jacobson a pillow over. Her team is a pillar of rachel's tomb. Which is there to this day. Israel journeyed on pitched his tent on the tower of eater. And so from here. We hear about the sons of jacob. we hear about the sons of lia by way of jacob and the sun's zilkha by way of jacob who was leah servant. We hear about the sense of rachel the sons of bill And there are a.

"And a lotta times. I feel that you know if i have something where someone's not performing or a fight with a partner like it's going to happen right. Relationships wasn't for relationships. Kind of life would be easy. It'd be boring but it'd be easy but for for me. It's so hard to swallow that pride of going. I know this person's wrong. I know they're being an idiot. I know they're not performing. You're showing up and for me. If they act out on me like this happened to me not too long ago with someone that i really care about a and they kind of push blame back on me because they were not performing. And that's so hard. Because i just want to be like are you kidding. Here's all the evidence bra right. Like how do i do that. Man how do i mature. How do i grow up a little bit To go okay. I do want to be effective. And i don't care about being right. How do i grow up. I understand is only two reasons ever have conflict argument or dispute with anybody i of. Which is. I'm more right than you prove to you that you're not right. All my data specifics. Knowledge examples in the second is more important than you at anytime. We're doing one of those things being more important than being more right. What are we ultimately doing. We're diminishing the other person and of course when moment we diminished somebody else. They're going to try to the ego and emma's gonna rise up just as our ego will rise up until what happens. We have an escalation of the conflict. Right you ever said something to your wife. She says you know hate us. I like the way you're talking to me. And then you demand you you tell her that you don't have that tone of voice in that you're not talking to her the way she thinks an she estimates. Then you ask laid back in there you are. That almost happened this morning. I just ran out of time where i couldn't initiate the. Hey that's That happens but recognized right. This is this is key to recognize that m. i having to prove i'm more right or am i having to prove my i'm more important than the other person or do i really want to be expected isn't is there another thing that i can do. I'm just saying and then a guy asks them off camera. He says he's like how did he do it. Like who was this. And he's like i. I'm not going to answer more questions. I don't know nothing. Also listen he is a ridiculous comedian cannot take anything that guy says the took all absolutely he always talks about really random things but i just thought it was funny because he got so serious all of a sudden he's like and he said it felt really good. That's what he does though. If you don't know what the is a comedian that's like his own absolutely cannibalism thing. I just feel like something's it's all being taken out of context. I think he's one hundred percent legitimately a cannibal and you should not get within six feet of. I will not get custody because of the pandemic could be madman. He probably could. And then in the batman movie can bite people do. Do you think it's because after the lone ranger his life was destroyed. Why was that. I never. I mean i've seen the movie but not like paying full attention. I didn't think it was terrible. Was i don't remember. I just set up in you. Know ms tanto. Yeah that wouldn't happen anymore. No i mean. I dunno johnny. Depp can can pull off thing. He played a pirate. Nobody cares about that. Why doesn't anybody stand up and say because it's not unusual. Group could be pirates right now. It is there were pirate like pirate is an occupation but everybody says somali pirates again in those are just the hockey pirates from somalia. I don't know. I think there needs to be a little bit more like it's not like there's two racial groups in somalia somali pirates in somali non buyer. Listen i think there needs to be a little bit more support for the pirate. The pirate community. I agree i can. I can go with that. you know. Pirates martin as bad as people think back in the day. They're like robin hood. They were the good guys they were like steal from the rich give to the united states. Government like contacted them to go sink. British ships really does that good pirates. Were like very forward thinking at the time. You think so. I know so. How do you know. Because i've read up on them. I've read up about pirates. St kinney site anything. Yeah they weren't. They weren't bad they weren't bad weren't dumb well. No they couldn't have been sailing. It was really hard thing to do. "And it's I am a hundred percent a cannibal. I want to eat you. That's scary to admit. I've never admitted admitted that before. But i want to eat you. What he wants the eat human flesh. the maybe. that's not what he meant. Maybe well it gets worse and then it says hammered backed out of a movie after this stuff came out and then now his ex girlfriend that just broke up with them two months ago. courtney vitkovici Says it added fuel to the allegations regarding the cannibalism fetish. And it says he said to me he wants to break my ribs and barbecue and eat it. But that'd be that's strange. It's strange but that doesn't mean he's being serious and then it says he says i want to take a bite out of you. If i had a little cut on my hand he would suck on the cut and lick it. That's i mean that's weird. It's all very weird but also could be like misinterpreted. It could be without the say if you take. There's a lot of things if you take out of context right. They seem crazy. Sure i mean that seems crazy about trying to defend them. Devil's advocate here. I'm not trying to say that. He is a cannibal. I'm just saying this story stuck out to me. Because how often do you hear about this about capitalism. I mean the only time you hear about cannibalism as as it relates to the silence of the lamb or the donner party. Yeah yeah and that's so. But when i saw army armie hammer has a cannibalistic fetish. I was like. I gotta read this. I guess what are we. Tmz now Yeah well that one. I needed to talk about. Because that's messed up. I don't think that's a thing. What if he is though. What if he's into eating people. I mean there must have. I thought about eating people know it's ever even cross my mind me. I haven't i. Just i find it very odd but i guess there are people that are in the evening. People like jeffrey dahmer. Do he. eight people right. he did. Yeah i just don't feel like you could get tricky noces from that but why it's a weird thing. Obviously it is a weird thing. I don't know why there's so much food around. I just don't feel like to eat a person. But i don't know i mean i don't feel like you really need to murder people either. I mean sometimes people need murder. And i mean he thinks so. There's a funny thing. I've talked about it a couple times this week. Actually but The comedian theo von. He had this. He was reading like questions from the internet on barstool sports. This was like last year some time but one of the questions was It said the question was. Do you think something is more prevalent in the united states. And he's like oh he's like probably murder for sure and he's like i once knew a guy he's like. Now listen. this isn't coming from me. And i don't agree with us. He's like but i once knew a guy told me he murdered someone before he's like.

Ninety five percent correct data ninety five percent and it says so one reviewer said Part loving image to tv history part off kilter mystery. Wanda vision is a wonderfully weird and striking strikingly bold step into a small screen for the eu and a perfect showcase for elizabeth olsen and paul brittany. I like elizabeth olsen. So do i a lot much better than our sisters. seems like. she's much more level headed. No she's not related to mary. Kate nationally. They are her sister's. Stop talking that is not true. It's okay it's one hundred percent. Sure is that true. She is the younger sister. Is elizabeth no way of the olsen twins. Yes that's crazy to me that you didn't know that no i didn't and she is. She's a younger sister and she somehow looks older. Yeah but they are frail and the here. So i don't know i don't like to talk about people's looks but they look weird. Yeah they do. They just went a different road. I think it was from the child. Stardom that affected them. The people some of the most successful people in hollywood they are because of their clothing line and make up and all this bullshit plus. They owned like all those movies they made. Yes see like pearl. They they were producers at like eight years old. That's wild but i feel like it gets to view. I wonder how child stars have issues. I wonder how often. I don't think they have issues. They've never displayed any issues. They've been drugging drugs. One of them was well. One of them mary. Kay only need one. Jared twin so they always can rotate. That's true. mary. Kissel had real big problem with drugs. I wonder how many times they day they say. How rude how rude. I bet you. "Wasn't like one hundred dollars. It was like right. Twenty bucks or fifteen twenty bucks. Does it right on a blank screen. Or i'm right in the air i know but on your tv you'd have to have like an app up or something. No idea assuming you download an app and bring that up or maybe you stick into your tv after you're done thumb stick or something because they gotta guess while you're drying. Yeah i don't know. I don't know how it works. Maybe there's dongle gotta be always dongle and it's always getting lost. I won't listen back in time to the creation of the word dongle see how they did the of that guy. Why why did they name it. That i it makes no sense. It's just a bunch of a bunch of people sitting around the room like let's we got this little thing that plugs into something. What do we need to call it. And somebody's just like dongle just needs to be dongle. Let's make it so mildly suggestive. It really is kind of seem like it's something a little shady right talking about a dongle So here's the definition of it. Because i just looked it up a small device able to be connected to and used with a computer especially to allow access to wireless broadband or use of protected software. I mean they knew when they named it it was tongue in cheek right because let. Let's just use it in other context context. Look over there gyms dongle out. I mean they knew that right the head of absolutely they knew that i mean. That's all i think about having your dog love every time somebody says it. I think about it being out. I don't know why but it says it was created in the nineteen eighties. Let's run computers. Were getting rolling. Yeah yeah somebody is just laugh and now they're like i called it a dog with a off think it's ridiculous but for him. You know i bet you was french. You think he was french. Yeah had to have been you think. A lot of the early tech stuff happened with french people. Nope i just think there was a french guy that said the were dongle one time. And they're like. Oh that's sexy. Sounds sexy cause a french guy said it so then the us stolen like they do a lot of things guys like a..

"Hey hey were old right there. We're here hello world period. Hello world hello world. I don't know if i do. It's like the old Like in the early days of computer programming is like when they just started a computer. Coding like html and that kind of stuff yes. That's i don't know why but they would always right. hello world. they did in the code or like like they write code so the text would be hello world like when you open the screen to the computer would know it's just like It's like if you are writing a new piece of html code. The first thing was like hello world and there as like a text placeholder. Oh i don't know why. Why do you even know that. Because i'm a bit of a coder. A bit of a coder doing some coating this week. Actually on some website stuff. So no kidding. Yeah hello world. Program generally is a computer program that outputs are displays the message. "Think you nailed it. Do i think he did. Yeah and then. I mean also don't really enjoy being forced into an evolution that that just feels bad. That's that's that's the last thing. I'll say You know. I do like like the vent. Wasn't that great on all on a c. Like i had to have the incense to do anything. I understand like. That's what the event was about but at the same time it's just like just didn't feel like an event did anything going on to be fair though typically when they do a special research story or something like that even like limited research day years isn't much you know like substance to it. It's task driven. So i get a lot of people felt that way But for me. I mean getting that pose which i absolutely love. I've been rocking the power pose since the day poses came out. And this is the first time i've to change poses dowm using the mr mind post. I just think it's absolutely hilarious to see your avatar kind of like sweep into the screen you know from the side with jazz hands out like i just think it's so cool So for me it was worth it But you know it's we hear your opinions. Let us know what you thought of the mr mom event. Did you take part. What prevented you from. Not taking part if you didn't It's definitely a great topic and checkout lured up because we go in depth With the community on on community feelings and all that good stuff but it's definitely a great topic but added we all were also in the holiday events. So i know like you're saying you're hunting hunting deli bread pretty heavy but haven't had much luck. I apologize for you. I'm sorry are you haven't gotten your shiny. It's it's okay. I just feel like i. I've gone pretty hard in like this morning. I got the shiny statler in like that was cool and all but yesterday christmas exclusively caught deadly bird and i went so hard. You should've went hard today. Today was the day for delivered. I did go hard today and yesterday. Yeah i've had. I've had incense going like this entire event. How's your. I bought several l. looking well it's definitely low right now because i've been spending it on my hundred percent deli bird. That's my best buddy. Okay okay so you are. You are leveling one up forty. Yes nice nice. Yeah let me. That makes sense used a lot of the transferring to get xl candy. That's not a good value. No it's not but at the same time to one at the same time it's like i'm here already. I just want to get it done. Yeah yeah interesting interesting. But yeah a lot going on and pokemon go hopefully have better luck with delhi bird than adam has. I haven't had the luck either. But i haven't been going to to To heavy you know just me on twitter like listen i got you. I got four of them. And i'm like how tea cr d for well dude. He's the person that tagged you is like. He's got like six hundred thousand catches and you know he's heavy duty. There's a hardcore player there. A hardcore player. But all right. Well let's move onto the players cup and this is gonna this is gonna encompass vga anti-siege e and i'll talk about the first We saw like there. It's been going on for weeks. Pok mon dot com has been Sharing links for their twitter. I mean sharing links for their twitch. And there's been plenty of stuff going on there Us favourite wolfe glick who is also a contributor on pokemon dot com took first place and took advantage of the newly released pok mon being that he brought glaring foreign multipurpose and rapid strike style or few along with drag poll incentive roar in colossal and really boom. Wow david of to come second place with his reggie and single strike style. I if lineup Jean paul loop has luzia of peru to third place with very informed landers and glaring for multis and the is definitely seen some increased depth as of late with a significant diversity coming from the competitors because of the stuff that we're able to find in the crown tundra and the arm of armor. This is exciting. Every everyone in the top three brought something that was from that deal see so i think that was really cool and it was cool to see wolf. Glick bringing the glaring foreign wolters and rapid str- strike style issue To take first place it was really cool. Some of the batches were very very exciting. The streams were up on twitch. I believe other gonna be clipping that stuff out and putting it up on their youtube channel soon to make sure you check it out. Yeah they should be already up there. Yeah and and players cup. Three was already announced So that's worth talking about Playbook pokemon isn't giving too much time between players cup to employers cup three of its players going to be starting the beginning january and run through april. So it's coming very soon and the xs returning to the lineup for for for number three. Yeah i do know that the You should have your tickets for t c. g by the twenty sixth of january. Because that's i believe when they start for for for the teacher julia the actual match. I believe so. Yeah it's going to be in the same way that players come to a lot of similarities. Like what the keys and stuff exactly. Yeah every player. That logs in from october to january twenty fifth i think has has the ability to as your pokemon trainer club account trainer club linked to your tc geo you've got tickets nice. You've got tickets. Which is why. Don't you run us through some of the stuff. I kind skipped ahead here now. It's okay and it's like it's cool because there's a lot of new players picking this game up. There's a lot like i've just seen a lot like influx of trainers and it's awesome. There's a lot of tc geo codes floating around. Now it's been it's been gaining popularity in steam. And you know it's reflected when you go to the stores and you see like cleared out shelves. I mean it's been one literally. Nothing i mean i will say i will say christmas eve in like the last ten fifteen minutes. That walmart was open. I walked in. I forget what we're getting christmas sweater. Something walked in the card. Section was empty. Walk all the way to the back. And they had a stack of blast always g xboxes nice that special promo full light thing and they had a stack of crimson invasion bleak trainer boxes oh and as a quo and what's infront one. Loan champions path with the chargers are knows where i'm gonna take away just like grabbed him like walking around the like. I don't know if i'd like need this. But i'm just gonna hold on. It's christmas.

"What's going on token on trainers welcome to episode one hundred and eleven of gotta watch them all. The podcast bringing together trainers from every corner of pok mon phantom before watching along with an episode. Poke him on the series. Starting all the way back in episode one. But today we're gonna be watching episode one hundred and eleven. The ten situation got watch. Ause part of the book amount professor network. Today is saturday december. Twenty six two thousand twenty. I'm your host. Ken pescatore joined by my co host. Adam tuttle adam. Mary belated christmas. How are you man. what's up. Hey happy deli birds season. It's deliberate his daily bird season. This episode is actually just. It's one one one one a lot of one's one hundred one did you. Have you gotten your bird fixed. And poke among i have not have you. I have not gotten a shiny. I have not gotten a hundred percent. I did have to trades. That were lucky. That's it i have yet to. And even those are not a not that great and no shadow deli bird. This time no shadow deli bird. And i've legitimately done hundreds of the gift five friends gifts like it. It's it's kind of bonkers. Ask a ninety eight percent but all right. Well we'll get there. We'll touch on it when we get to put him on go but on today's show Pokemon go actually had an event last. Weekend centered around glaring. And mister mind that. I wanted to talk about because the community is up in arms and we discussed it on this week's lured up. Are you talking about the grows optics. I'm talking about all of it. Man the pose part. I love so much The players cup too wrapped up. And we're going to review the results. We'll take a closer look at orbital v. max there's lists that put him on dot com put together. There's also an orbital box out in stores and then we'll do our rewatch of pokemon series episode one eleven the tent situation. But let let's start with polka mongo. It there's you know we we. We have seasons running. We've got the holiday event running. We've got a lot of stuff going on in the game. It's been busy and it's been great but last weekend we had a seven ninety nine. Paid event ticketed. Event centered around glaring. Mr mime that was a bit lacklustre on paper. It didn't have much to do. You weren't getting legendary pokemon in the end you get. You're getting glaring. Mr mom and they put a seven ninety nine price tag on it This is similar events that we've seen in the past with regine genesis. Those were obviously legendary pokemon So for many in the community this kind of like felt different. Because mr mind doesn't have the same star power as say like agenda set. But also the biggie in my opinion was niantic. Did it make clear as to win mr mime. The glaring mister mind would become available for those. That didn't buy the ticket. And it's also important to note that this event was announced shortly after the poco mongo tour cancel event which is an eleven ninety nine ticketed events so the announced the cancer tour event and say. Hey this'll events coming up in february it's eleven ninety nine but in the meantime here's a seven thousand nine event that's happening next weekend in the community. Just kinda got up in arms saying what's all these paid events didn't feel good seem like the value was there For many now some in the community are were not taking into consideration the extras that come. With the event it came with incense battle passes lures coffins super incubator star pieces a bunch of stuff. But so for me. I was saying to everyone macau commodity comes with all these items. This great worth it but what. I've learned over the past week or so. Is that if people aren't into using these items and aren't purchasing these items anyway. They don't see the value in those items because they don't want them so it kinda have the community torn in the middle because the event itself was a little lackluster. Now for me. I enjoyed the event. I was done with it in an hour. I'm glad i got all those extras because those are things that i would typically pay for but like adam was alluding to in the beginning. It comes with this mr my impose which has kind of become this like like a statement in the community. Like when you see someone with the mind pos or you see a glare. Mr mr rhyme and a gym. It's like it. Just it sets the triggers community a bit. So at what are you. What are your thoughts on. Not just the the event so talk about your feelings on the event but the seven ninety nine price tag. How do you feel about that stuff. So as far as the event goes the items. I'm not one to normally by a puffins. I'm not to buy ultra balls. You know. I'm not one to buy battle passes. You know i i would rather buy a remote read pass then because it allows again. It's there's just like a lot of versus diversity that could use that with. I could get invited to a raid. I could invite others to raids. Especially if like you're on the move like if like obviously not driving being a passenger in the seat but like if i see a raid and i want to send people invites or if i just wanna do that raid moving. You know like 'cause. I'm not doing anything i'm sitting and i noticed this on christmas. It's like there's a raid. I want to do it. But i'm in the passenger seat and i can't do it right right and it was like cool. I have all these battle passes. What am i gonna do with them. Can't use them. Yeah but that's that's kind of very specific like you're saying that it at some point. You're not going to have an opportunity to use a standard battle. listen. I've been storing them. I keep getting more all these events that scab be one raid weekend one big raid weekend and you could use all of them if you do ten raids of one day. I mean it's like it's i will tell you obviously pass before. I used to a battle pass. We'll of course got to use the free one. I mean that's the the the ideal thing the ideal situation for me is that in the least doing seven raids a week. Because i'm using my free one every day like that's what i want to do. I mean i typically with with remote raids and everything in the mix. Now i'll probably do about twenty raids week or something like that if there's array day that might stack ten or fifteen more onto one one day but you know there's a lot of opinions here a lot of feelings that you know. The community is a little bit up in arms and the tag what. It's just not you think it's too much it just wasn't there for me. I i mean from from the event. And i understand quarantine i understand. We're in the pandemic and all that stuff. But i i understand all the stuff but reggie gibbs. When that event happened that was amazing. Like like that felt like being at go fast because the community came together and understand. The community can't come together like in certain ways. But there's gotta be a way to get your community together and it's like okay. What better way than communities via discord or anything like that like give us some remote read passes that we can. We can play with and be interactive with each other. Even though we're far apart that would have been more were. That's that's actually a gr- because what made the regius events so awesome was the fact that people were traveling impacts the do the reggie raids and finding hunt down a reg jason hunt down. Reggie rock and hunt down steel. You know that was cool by saying like hey would have been cool if they threw some remote passes in the event and then required raids as part of the event. That would have been cool. I didn't even think of that. Because then at least the community would be getting together even if it is remotely than just the tasks that were in the event like catch fifteen psychic. Poke him on. There was no joy in that there was no challenge in exactly he'd just waited for the pokemon and come to you remote rating would have been at least like saying okay. Let's get organized and let's do this together and then you could have had a group of trainers that could have completed the event together as a group Met adam i think you nailed it. Yeah i think like all the talks we've had about this. I think that would have been an awesome way to have a virtual event that still felt community.
