"With your your drawl and and in the incidentally tournament and i appreciate you taken the time out to japan on the podcast load out thank them what now it's welcome mac mcmahon the head coach over murray state met thinks for taking the time out and japan on the podcast hey evan thanks so much for having me on i appreciate it now last saturday you were knocked off belmont to win over the tournament would have what's the last week been like for you as you do you guys sit back and kinda wait to see who you play but a lot of part i'm just so happy and proud parreira guy a really been a joy to coach this year and they've worked extremely hard i was just so proud of their performance saturday night we were down five i would about fifteen minutes to play and went on a thirty four to ten run to lock up the tournament championship to go with a regular season championship so i'll we're and we're just trying to find a balance this past week of really enjoying it celebrating the accomplishments uh but also uh still getting into jam and working extremely hard trying to get better uh so that we can go out here and competing she a's next week with such a long layoff until you play what what's kind of the message to your team been over the past week in just a ready and prepared sure we spent a lot of time going over how we wanted to approach it and we basically just coming back from christmas break completed a 10week stretch of obesity play nine weeks of the regular season plus the tournament and we just looked at this is weak eleven uh we we had a normal week a practice uh played a gain uh intersquad scrimmage today uh saturday uh and then we'll be off sunday uh and then just have a normal week of preparation headed into the ncaa now you're sitting at twenty six in size coach and for the average college basketball fan the maybe just flippant on the tv now and and has and watched you guys this season wh what will they see when they watch murray state basketball well we've been really fortunate we have some elite high level players i as a team we've been very balanced this season.

"Yes i say what are the the skills and qualities of a great product miniature and skills i don't give as much credence to skills because they're they're learnable their teachable qualities are earned learnable as well i believe but the softer qualities we have to dig deeper and sometimes go through a lot more personal stuff to overcome the first one enlist as confidence trade big guys nino has product managers we don't have a lot of power but we sure do of a lot of responsibility to get different folks rowing in our direction as years thesis proved sometimes those folks don't wanna come with us they don't agree with our decisions absolutely and i find i've seen some more junior product managers suffer from overconfidence a little early on sahaf's a pitfall to because it it's possible that when might think that they know everything after exiting the general assembly program by you freely to right as it is a good testament to their quality of the general assembly program and bad testament to us as human beings rican puff ourselves up so radically and so i've got this right my favorite stories from students come so we teach a teacher one week out of the course which is hyper compacted an accelerated and then a 10week version of the course and i always say to people who were may be considering doing one or the other the one week as a great format if you're already working as a project manager and you wanna sir jam as much knowledge as he can into a tight a time line and then go back to the office monday in and start assimilating but if you don't have to do that there's no merit in rushing through all of the content because actually the time is where the beautiful discoveries happen and so in we do the idea is you you come in and class 1 and we talk about how to look for ideas rate in the form of a sort of problem observation and by the end your presenting kind of a holistic go to market plan for a product that you've validated that you've research that that you've understood and final project starts day one but.
