Jack Chitter. Ellie is joining us for for the whole next hour. Mr. Tudor. Ellie, How are you? I'm great, Jeff. Especially on I do recognize that song. Very well. We've had a lot of fun with that. But listen, it's great to be with you guys. Thank you for the opportunity. Um, now would did you pick the song before you picked Diane Allen, and she was just the only Diane that made sense. Or how did Jeff I understand You can't help yourself and asking that question, But no. Diane came first. The song came second, and I couldn't be happier that Diane accepted. I mean, she is, as I've often said, if there was a Mount Rushmore New Jersey legislators, she be on it and she's been great. And the news have heard being the lieutenant governor has been well received up and down the state. There you go. All right, We're gonna be talking about a lot of things this hour. Obviously, we're going to try to keep it pretty casual. But if anybody wants to jump in here with us, this is not quite like the town hall. It's not that rigid. Or and it's certainly not gonna be like the the debates, but our phone number is 1 802 831. Oh, 1.5. If you have a question for Republican candidate Jack Viterelli, who, of course. Thinks he can do better than Phil Murphy. And I want to ask you about something. Well, first of all. Before the question. We were going to do all this a week ago Thursday, and obviously, the more we learned as Thursday, dragged on a week ago, the train, the more tragic everything got, and it just it would not have seemed right and Hardly slept. You got very little sleep, and we were the lucky ones. But, yeah, you were stuck in this mess on 78, Like so many other thousands.

That's what Okay, I'm sorry. That's what it was. You lost it, but not like right. You lost it in a different way, so I still have it. Yeah, I just gotta hold. It just got a hole cut in. It is that is that that's still the ring that you wear. Oh, no kidding, right where they cut it To this day, all the way back from the nineties. Whoa! Alrighty. See, I'm not such a ring loser. I'm them by botched that story. No, I remember the like. Once you said they cut it. I thought like it was ruined that somehow nobody just bent back into shape. Yeah. All right. Who's got a story? Bill and Howell? You're in New Jersey one at 1.5. Hi, guys. All right. Well, my wife gave me a beautiful watch front of ER, Serie Two days later at work. I'm in the bathroom. Take off the watch to wash my hands. And I leave it there. Uh, not two minutes. Go by. I run into the bathroom. It's gone. Of course. So I go through the office. I asked everybody that they find watch Nobody The last person I asked house me. He knows a couple of vendors walking around. Ask them maybe they founded Has I'm going to ask them and they say, you know what if they found it? They kept it. I'm not gonna ask them. I'm going to do something else. I walked up to the vent. I said, Excuse me. Do you know what time it is? The guy pulls out my watch out of his pocket. It's still apply. Oh, my God. You are a genius. And what did you do? I said, Where did you get that? Watch? He doesn't say anything. I grab it out of his hands. And the other guy says to me. You're not going to tell on him. Saw you? I said I should have you both fired But I got my watch back. I'm happy. Goodbye. Wow. The presence of mind What sleep? He pulled to watch out and he pulled my watch out of his pocket. God, you're smart, though. Yeah, well, I was desperate. Yeah, I had to think of something. Did you ever tell your wife you lost it? Did she ever find out? No, but P s a couple of years later, my house gets robbed. They take the watch Think And I think there's then the storm rob my house. Uh, yeah. This was personal for him. Bill. Thanks for your call. I don't know. Why do I love that story so much? Because he outsmarted him. I mean, he really did, though. I don't know how many people would really have thought that through. Just just see if they pull it out because honestly, You're thinking maybe, but you're probably thinking, Nah, that's not going to work. And then it works. That's beautiful. One time a long time ago, when I was in radio and a younger man, I was doing a baseball game. And I went to the press box sat down my stuff and I guess I went to the bathroom or something. When I came back, my ball strike indicator was missing. There's like three other people in the press box. I said, Did anybody take a ball strike indicator that was there? And this kid like 18 year old stands up all sheepish, positive. This parking said Yeah, I did. Whoever says Yeah, I did when you when you steal something, but he did. He gave it back. Yeah. What? What do you do? I mean, like, what can you do? At least he gave it back Did I was just over shocked who owns up to it after they steal something from you Right now, there's like no response for that scenario. Dominic in Glassboro. You're on New Jersey one at 1.5. All right, so My coach. Your fiance has my mother in law's 10th anniversary wedding rings that we're going to use for her wedding ring in her possession. Mhm. It is. December 24th 2020, and we're going over the mother in law's house. So my fiance wants to handle back over the ring to the mother in law and put in the security deposit because it's worth Quite a bit of money. Okay, so in the process We go over to mighty key to pick up the mother in law's car. Laura gets out of the car goes into her mother in law's house, our mother in law's card. Then goes to the mother. Lock up. Now we get to the modern World House we get. There are starts going through a purse, the rings and a little couch. Ground colour and it's gone. She can't find it anywhere. So now the mother in law, myself and Laura are looking everywhere. We ripped the house apart. We ripped the car apart. I was gonna say ripped the car apart, but still nothing. No, nothing left breath colours, her support Nothing. So Laura in a pack goes into my truck, 2018 Silverado. And goes back to my turkey. See, maybe she dropped it on the getting in and out of the car somehow. But on the way for her going there, she didn't have her phone. So on the way of her going there, we find the race. Thank God we find the ring in the dining room. Couches. Brown carpet was brown so we had no way to really see. Uh, finally found it in the carpet was right there, right by your purse, right where we left the war of ourself. Shouldn't look there first, but we definitely Yeah, but we're trying to get in contact with Laura and then bar doesn't.

They're going to discuss her employment at believe it it's tonight's meeting. Do you think she should have been suspended? Should she be in trouble? 1 802 831 on 1.5. And let's talk to Nick in Howell. You're in New Jersey 11.5. How you doing? Is everything all right near you? I gotta agree with America. I think it's a little bit ridiculous. Have these kids wearing masks all day. I mean, even have him and after school programs playing basketball, running back and flush with the mask on, it's unhealthy. But, you know, I agree with us. What about her now wearing a mask? You know what? I'm a first respondent and the only time I warm masses when I was giving on him. You know, I wish you the best. I mean, just the hard. I don't think she should lose her job. All right. Okay. Thanks for your call. Let's talk to Michael in Morristown, you're under jersey 11.5. Hey there. I disagree. I mean, I agree with the nurse, Uh, what she's doing? I don't think that she should after people should be forcing these Children. But when Maxie there I have a Child Who's 17. Months right now, so just shy of two years and one of the first questions I asked his day care providers. What is you make kids wear masks and New Jersey currently doesn't mandate if the daycare centers but if they did Will never send my child to any institution, competent human beings and amassed, um To teach them. This is normal. They don't understand it, and they're not terribly affected it as affected at all by this so That's my what about the nurse herself, refusing to wear one? Um, um, two sided on because I also work in an industry and transportation where I deal with the public and I have to wear one. I absolutely can't stand it, but I do it because I want to keep my job. So I mean, I think that's a personal decision she has to make and how far she's willing to fight it. If I was a parent of a child at school, I would be very vocal about supporting her at the school board meetings and whatnot. But That she's a grown person, and unfortunately these air the government mandates that we have and I wish you all the best There. There. There, there her employer's mandate. I mean, those are the rules of her workplace. Yeah. So it's Ah, I guess I don't agree with its own biased. So, uh And you support her claiming that that this that that kid wearing a mask is child abuse? Would say borderline sounded. Was that think it's very damaging for the development, especially the younger they are, She says. It's 100% child abuse. You use the word borderline. Michael. Thanks for your call. Something wanted something I never slept, though. I stayed the night in one all alone in a place that is said to be haunted. That's what that was in Asbury Park, but I never did sleep. I wasn't even trying to sleep like I wanted to stay awake in case something that they allege happens there all the time actually happened. I want to sleep through it. So now yeah, my stories suck. Do better than me then 1 802 831 of 1.5. Jack and your leap to your own, New Jersey one on 1.5. Big bang. How're you doing? Jackie? Listen, So I did some civil war reenacting and the 1 50. Gettysburg was quite a trip. It was a four day event. And we did union impression We did Cole tell And there was everything there were. There were ants. It was raining. We had the Confederates coming up. It was two days of nonstop firing of our guns. And it was a pretty intense event. Um, I don't know if if people are into that, or you know if When did you Well? Did you sleep during the battle? Yeah. I mean, you're up for Labor's a four day event You had marched in and you were exhausted some point and we took turns. And it's online. You could look it up Copes 1 50 Gettysburg. But the thing that got me the most was the constant firing of the guns. I mean, it was like a day and a half two days of constant firing the guns and you just got so used to the smoke and the sound that it was It was pretty intense. It's an event. I'll never forget that's for sure. I have visited Gettysburg. But I never saw a reenactment there and kind of always wanted to, maybe not rising to the bucket list level. But it would be very cool to see one of these. Yeah, well, there's like there's like 5000 of us in this one particular in the bars. Wow. Just like a couple of 100 guys. I mean, You got to go online to take a look at the 1 50 cults Gettysburg and even on the video. The firing just just doesn't add. It just does not end it was quiet. One of the most interesting places I ever slept, and I never want to be covered with ants like that again. And, you know, not taking a shower and there's wagon magazines, food. Well, you're really selling it, Jack. You had me at maggots. Jack. Thanks for your call. Rose Marie from Mountain Side You're on New Jersey one on 1.5. Hi. I love you guys. Thank you. Listen to your show every day. Um, I slipped and Woodbridge Center mall when I was a kid in the girl Scouts. Now wait. What? Okay with the girl Scouts like it was like an overnight plan thing. Correct? Yes. Why the mall? What were they? What were they doing? You know there was a lot of girls Scout troops there and they had some entertainment for us. There were a couple bands and they played games and That whole thing. It was a lot of fun. Um and I also slept in a lighthouse. Um Whoa. What island? In the lighthouse. Yeah. Oh, a lighthouse. I thought you said the White house. Oh, I'm sorry I was I was about to start asking about like the Lincoln bedroom. You got awfully excited about the White House. I'm sorry. I heard it wrong. Okay, A lighthouse, A lighthouse in Canada, Prince Edward Island. That's not until was it cramped? No, because it was a wooden lighthouse. So it was kind of squared off in the bottom was bigger. So it wasn't it didn't look is narrow and say, Maybe Barney get light, So it's kind of wide and they had a couple of rooms in there, So Yeah, I was going to say it was like an actual bed that you have right? Yes. Just like a lighthouse keeper would sleep in. Yeah, right. Right. It was an actual bedroom. But I would like to sleep inducing. That would be fun. Okay, Well, if you make it to the White house, you got to call back one day. Rosemary. Thanks for your call. She's just aiming for Lucy. I know you don't believe in that stuff. Have you ever read how many people swear? That they have seen things in the Lincoln Bedroom. I know you don't believe it. I don't. But is it just like the power of suggestion? I mean, people who are not flakes. I mean, like Dignitaries have slept there. I'm gonna guess he give you that. Those are mutually exclusive. Yeah. No, You're right. You're right. Yeah. Just strange stories come from that the Rondell from Toms River. You're on New Jersey One a 1.5. Stay. What's up? D and D I got doing alright Rhonda Rhonda. All right. I got a funny 14 years ago. You stick out in seaside heights of me and my buddies back in the day and one night just hanging out having a bunch of drinks, party and whatnot. I lost my ride home coming back over the bridge. So I kind of just hung out, Chief that all night wandered around to the front came up Those round like 6:45:07 a.m. sum was just starting to come up. And, uh, breakfast spot. It opened up, so I got some breakfast and coffee, and I'm just walking the boardwalk. Right? And I sit down that this nice bench just enjoy the view of the sunrise. And you know, the beach is nice and empty. It's quiet. It's not a soul out there. So I sit down on this bench for about five minutes. She's watching the sun come up and I lay down. Close my eyes. Next thing you know, I open my eyes and I just opened my eyes and I'm surrounded by people. And there's these kids hanging out next to me on the bench just sitting there just hanging out like you exist and the beaches was filled with umbrellas, people. What time was it? What's the look? Wake up and I look around. I'm like, Wow, I really just fell asleep on the boardwalk. And the crazy part about it was that not one person came up to me Bother me, not a police officer. Anything of that nature and how you were homeless. It was. Yeah, exactly right. For the first time he was checked my pockets to make sure nothing was taken from me while I was sleeping. But, yeah, I just thought that was how long were you out? What time of day was it by them? Obviously. Sorry. I must have been out for a good couple hours. It was around 70 and when I would tell us where it was coming up. And it was probably like two o'clock in the afternoon to Whoa, You made it. You stayed up all night. And then once the sun's up, you couldn't get Oh, man, great, but the most crazy part about it. Like I said, you know, it was just quiet and peaceful. So I close my eyes and enjoy that summarized. Like I said, I opened my eyes up, dude, and I'm just surrounded by a beach full of people, and I was really confused for a split moment. Tries to Siegel's didn't attack you. "Place. What's the point? And I see like in hills hillside public schools. They're going to remain remote throughout the rest of the academic school year. Uh, Don't problem with that. And I'm thinking at this point, you know, like if it were the school that they was Roosevelt School where they went all their lives, and they have roots And I'd say you know what? Go back. See your friends enjoy. This is you know, they have hardly been there. Uh, I'm asking like 1 802 831 on 1.5. Are you given the opportunity? Are you sending your kids back to school? If they've been home all year, or is it easier to just keep him home? Babe, got the home Learning down. You know, they got the virtual learning down. They started eight o'clock in the morning, they roll out of bed. And they, you know, take care of yourselves. You'll wash whatever they go when they do their work begin, unlike as opposed to getting up like two hours earlier. And having to go freeze waiting there for a bus and then go. It seems like a lot of work. For Three hours a day. A couple of kids in the class and lots of plexiglass. Uh, It's not gonna be the school experience. Of going to class hanging out with your friends going a longe, you know, messing around outside, making those long lasting lifelong friendships. Hopefully, that comes next year when they go to high school. You know, when we'll be over with all this, God willing, and they'll be able to get as the rest of us normal lives back. Often. L Is it really worth it? And even virtual all year and now in January, Okay, you want to go back for two days week? 1, 802, 31 or 1.5. How do you feel? I mean, what are you doing? Are you are your kids in school or at a school? And How's it working out for you? If they're in school, is it you know is Are you comfortable with it? Are they comfortable with it? Then they like it or they rather be home. And if their home at this point what is the point? Of going to school. Is it going to be more confusing? To do it that way. Especially when you got to get up early in the morning to go in and then come home and take other stuff Virtually, you know, I had said the very beginning. What's the point of even opening the school's just leave them closed? Everybody got mad at that. But the idea being that what was the point of opening schools only to close them? And then what happened? He opens in schools and end of closing them. And until we get this whole thing under control With Calvin. We're not really you know, getting over. What the hell did though? But is it really worth it right now? Theo put your kids back in school. Now again, if it's if it's something like high school where they're going to be there for the next four years, maybe I think differently. But the idea of a school that they've hardly been in it all. Now go back for a few months. And then finish. I don't. I think they'd be better off staying home. Just doing it virtually How do you feel about it? 1 802 831 on 1.5. John is in Parliament on New Jersey. One on 1.5. Hey, John. Hey, you don't good. What do you think? So Have my kids in Catholic school, right? Also ones in, uh First grade, and I have pre k right and they've been in school since the beginning on September. I'm also ups driver. I've been out here since the beginning. And, uh, they should just go and open up the schools. I mean, there is there times where somebody would test positive It would test positive and then they would quarantine everyone for two weeks and then go back into schools. But isn't it like, just break things up? I mean, at this point Get what you're saying. But they've been there all through it. But if your kids were not, and they would do in virtual and now all of a sudden, let's say Here we go. This is gonna be their last year. To put him in for two out. Yo, two days a week, three hours a day, Uh, with social distancing and wearing the mask and the whole thing Is it really worth it? Would you do it? Yeah. To go into like to have him in school. Yeah. Yeah, of course. What these kids they because kids, they need to see people. They need to see the parents. They need to see the grand pants, but they see that relation, but they're not going to see that in school. Whoa! My kids have, though they see the grand parents and their parents and school. Oh, well, I'm saying they see their teachers that she the other kids that go outside. They still have recess. They just have their master on. See, this wouldn't be like that. This would be one class to the other class to the other class Few kids in each class and then you go home. Well, that's because that's what they want. They want to set control. That's what they want. What would you do that under those circumstances? You would still do that. All right? Yes. Right. Thanks for the call to New Jersey. One on 1.5. I'm putting you down for Yes, I'm serious. I mean, I just can't see the point of, you know, they haven't been in there all year. And now you.

Jeff that we never got to talk about. And how the governor wants tickets with fines for underage marijuana before he'll sign the weed, bill. Yeah, it's like, then I can't even fathom it. Yeah, Murphy. So those builders still sit on Murphy's death is marijuana building. We've been trying to pass for a billion years, and he says he won't sign you won't sign it unless they change the language so that there's fines for $250 for those under 21 caught with an ounce of marijuana. Five or less and announce and 500 possession of more than announce. Uh, this is so stupid. Like, who do you think? Smoking weed except teenagers? I mean, come on. So you gonna tell you what? I'm gonna go find the kids. I mean, for a number one. You're not finding the kid. You're finding their parents number two. What about college kids? So you're telling me some kid in college smoking a joint? You get fined $200 for smoking it. Murphy, is it moron? I you know, I've you know, I've been given this guy the benefit of doubt for everything Long period. This is the thing that is sending me over the edge. Lock me down for three months. The only person they're hurting. There's the parents. And you and all you know, not to mention not to mention this just gives cops reason to, like, Be like looking to break up kids looking to hassle kids, which is the whole point, especially kids in minority sections of the state, which is the corn Murphy. The whole purpose of the law in the first place was so that you know, it's gonna be social justice. Which is ridiculous, like exactly like alcohol, and if there's going to be underage, just stop it already. Just stop already. That's what I was talking about in the article.
