COVID Death Toll Reaches 500,0000 Mark
"The COVID toll exceeded 500 million this week, dead around the world. 500 million dead. Now it is changed into a variant that is less killing. So that China will not have the same death rate that we did in the U.S. with the first coronavirus iteration and then with the subsequent iterations that Delta omicron is not killing that many more people, but we felt the brunt of it. And I'm increasingly coming to the conclusion there is nothing that anyone could have done. Short of what they do in China, which we will not do in the United States. And their economy is not going to recover for a decade because of this. And at some point, you do what you did until we figured it out. We got the vaccine done. We rushed the vaccine out, and then you go back to

"But that's where my collection came from was things that I wouldn't be able to shift because they were damaged. And the supplier wouldn't take them back. They wouldn't refund. I'd have to destroy them. That was one. So I had like my little pony at order for a customer. And the wing was broken. And I'm like, right, well, it's fuck well I can do with this. I can't sell it. So the supplier, I contacted them like, right, we can refund you for this, but you have to smash it with a hammer. What? And like, and they're like, yeah, you need to, you're not sending it back. You need to destroy it. And you need to show us proof. And I'm like, okay. Everybody got time for that. But I did it. A smashed it. Set pictures, had the money back. And I was like, what a fucking weird setup? Like. Sending you a picture of it. With the wing or you wouldn't be able to fix that. If you glued it, it would be obvious. Because of the way it was broken as well. I like what madness is this. So obviously the name, again, it just got too much. I was getting nagged by the supplier because I hadn't put orders in. Or if I had they couldn't fulfill certain things, like Comic-Con. Comic-Con 2014 was a brilliant time of year for me. I must have brought in a couple thousand on that for all the Comic-Con exclusives. And that was brilliant. Comic-Con 2015, not so much. Because the amount of damage items I received because they changed to the so they used to use. DHL. And I didn't know this, but later down the line DHL was then taken under the umbrella of UK mail, who are absolute cunts. But I don't know if this was around the time. I think the used TNT for this one. And I must have had about 7 E phone calls. And I seem to remember 42. Because that's like the meaning of life, isn't it? 42 of them damaged. But because they're exclusive, so you can't get any more. And so I had to cancel and refund. So many people and they were so fucked off. Because they were like, I could have fucking bought this from this place and blah blah blah and it's also and I can't get it, whatever. And that was the turning point where I was like, I can't do that. I'm doing this all on my own. And I'm trying to like, I spent my days off. After 12 hours shifts, days off for fill in orders and taking them to the post office and have an issue with the post office because I've got so many I've got to do. I used their dropping goal service. So basically fill in the manifest and all that. But you couldn't top up the drop and go corridor online. So you had to stand in the queue to do it. And I didn't have fucking time for that. So then it's like, oh, we haven't sent these because you didn't have enough funds in your car. And I was like, oh, for fucks. So half of them haven't fucking gone when I said they've gone. It's a fucking joke. Yeah, I was just like, I've had enough. And so then obviously I just, I go back to a normal life. I'm working, obviously, my kids. Gaming in my free time. And then it was probably, I don't know what day it was. I could probably tell on my YouTube, because one of my, one of my videos on YouTube, I'll try and find it now real quick, actually. Yeah, so my most popular, so it was a trivia murder party. It's had over 4000 views, and it still gets some. I don't know how it people are still finding it, 'cause that should probably be buried, but then again. That went up on the 31st of October 2019. And then I think on the 1st of November, I tried a Twitch stream. Around about, yeah, I think it was around about that. Maybe before November. But within a day or two of it happening. That one happened. To compare. And YouTube was the one that we got more people involved, 'cause obviously it's easier, I think, with YouTube because most people have a Google account. Most people are on YouTube, whereas Twitch is a bit more sort of niche and in comparison for stuff like this. And then I did a Twitch stream. Sorry, I did a YouTube stream of epex. Because that was what I was playing at the time. And. I was all right. And I tried Twitch. And for that, I got more like, I only had maybe three or four people, but this is my first ever Twitch stream. And I thought I went really well. And that was a decided in fact, on me being a Twitch streamer. So officially, I started on the 3rd of November. So I was like, right, we're not going to use YouTube. I'm going to use Twitch. And that was that. And of course, the name, pretty much came to me. I wasn't forward thinking. Literally, there wasn't not much thought that went into it at all. I just figured I'm gaming. I'm not very good. I'll be dying a lot. 'cause I had thought maybe the retrying Scotsman. But then I thought, I think maybe character count was a factor, but also I thought now I've already I've already got the thing like my website was to try and Scots to end up call it UK, which I'd kept going anyway. So I was like, fuck it. That's the name. And that's how it's always been and I think unless something major happens in my life, that's pretty much how it's going to stay. Yeah, that's basically see, this is why they should have been in the preview. Issue zero, the origin story of the trying Scotsman..

"That hit me hard. And I didn't allow myself to grieve there. My brother and sister, they were embedded. And I was a strong one, the youngest of the three, and I am the strong one for them. And I don't think I've still grieved. I mean, I feel better. And this is the thing, and this is the advice I always give people when they've lost a relative, especially a really close one, is that it never gets easier, ever. I don't care what you said. Does not get easier. What happens is you get better with dealing with it. Her birthday and my birthday fuck me up because her birthday is the day after main. And so coming up to my birthday is just a constant reminder. And then obviously my youngest daughter's birthday is a constant reminder. But I have gotten better with managing it like normally on my mom's birthday, I would normally stay away from the Internet. I would go dark and yeah, I would just kind of silently exist. And then a couple of years ago I decided to turn that on its head. And I was like, do you know what? You can't keep doing the same thing and expect a different result. I can't keep doing that and expect to feel better. And so I just carried on as normal. And it got to the point where I knew the date was there. It's not like I'd forgotten, but I was so well distracted that it didn't get me down. And it seems to have worked, I've probably just fucking jinxed myself, but Mother's Day is gone and it's a little while tour by birthday. But yeah, so that happened and then I gave up the business because I couldn't corp doing a full-time job. Obviously three kids, and then having selfish cunts, because this is one of the podcast episodes I did. I was driving to Scotland for my mom's funeral. And just before I'd had a bit of a spot with this customer, because they were fucking me about an I said, look, I've got you, but I can't post it until I come back from Scotland because I've got my mom's funeral. That's all I said. I didn't play on it. I just mentioned, I've got my mom's funeral. Because I felt like it's a good justification. It's not just me so now I can't get to the post office and some bullshit excuse. And they had a goal and they wanted a refund. So I gave them the refund. And then I re listed the item. It was, oh, God. It was a shark from sharknado. And a realist on Facebook. And they were like, are you fucking serious? We wanted that. I'm like, but you nagged me for a refund. I gave you your money. I can't remember all the nights because it was obviously during a bad time. But basically they were shady with me because I was caught in my mom's funeral. They gave me a bad review on somewhere. One of the Facebook funko pop collectible pages. And I just feel that I was like, hang on a minute. No, give the full story because what they did was the air in some of the conversation that we'd had via email. And I was like, no, here's the full email. Because they were trying to paint themselves in a better light than me. They were trying to make it look like they were asking an innocent question. And I was, I was kind of giving them a bit more of too much detail based on what they asked kind of thing. And then everybody sided with me, and so I relisted it. I said, look, these people are fucked me off. Who wants it? Because I need to sell it. And that was that. But yeah, there was a run of me talking about that issue. Which again, I'll listen through and if it's not too cringe on my chuck it up as an extra upload. But yeah, I just had people like people that I know for a fact rely on that they hadn't received that they were damaged. Like the amount of bubble wrap I put on stuff, there's no way they could be damaged unless you fucking did it yourself. And yeah, I just said I'd had enough of people chance the way the business worked for me. I didn't put that much cash in. So I started it off as by M 6 Harley Quinn phone calls. I bought a pack of 6 from the supplier. Turned a profit, and then I bought two boxes of another funko pop, which I think was just like a regular Batman. So at 12 Batman that I sold, I took the profits from that and I bought four and then it just went from there to there. And then the only way I could get the business to work because I found a new supplier, but they were they were bringing in from Germany. And in order to do that, I had to have a minimum order of 250 pounds. So it was pre listed. People put their orders and I then put the order to the supplier. I get the items in and then I ship them out. So they're like pre orders. So I didn't have the buy in power of forbidden planet and fucking pop in a box and stuff like that. And it wasn't a brilliant model, but I figured the more money I get behind because basically any money that went into it and came out of it. Went back into it. Kind of like how I do my Twitch. Any Twitch money I put back into Twitch, whether it's buying games. To stream or obviously the green screen, the microphone expands for overlays and stuff like that, that's what that money is for. That's what bought my PS5 was money that I earned on Twitch. And yeah, so I did that, but then you got people that were getting really impatient and obviously they'd maybe found it in stock somewhere else in the council and on me and then I've got items that are no good. And then I get damaged. And there are no fucking good to a collector, like even if it's minor box damage because they will fucking turn. The boxes need to be pristine. That's basically what catered for my funko collection was the boxes are two beaten up. To sell, and that's why I was out of box collect. I mean, I was enemies because space..

"Episode one, which should really be the preview because this is the introduction to me. I realize the preview should have been me just kind of talking a little bit about me. And giving you an idea because not everybody's going to know who I am. Don't worry, you haven't missed the bus. I am an Albany. But yeah, I figured the preview one should probably the content and that should have or could have been enough to kind of be a regular episode, if you will, but never mind. We don't do things in the right origin with me. I do make things more complicated than they should be. And my brain is slightly fucked. So with that being said, we'll just dive in. My name's Craig. I'm 37. I'm 37 I'm going to class. Oh, my God. 37. My girlfriend's up 37 dicks. In a row? I'm a father of three kids. Three doors. 1310 on 7. And yeah, I work full time. I do 12 hour shifts, so obviously the streaming side of things takes a hit from that because I don't have a nice schedule. Because of the way my shifts are, I do 7 days orbit a 14 day period. Meaning, for example, this week, I was working Monday and Tuesday off where Thursday Friday, and then I'm in Saturday on Sunday. Next week, I'm off Monday, Tuesday, working Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday in Sunday. And just over the side, the 9th, so next Saturday. We're looking to do a core stream so they'll be drinking and shenanigans. What the dub Jack box and whatever else we fancy. So if you're free, be sure to join us and we normally start writing about 6 p.m. GMT or BST as it is now, I think. And we go till. We don't finish any earlier than 10 p.m., usually. But quite often we go till one, 2 o'clock, depending on how we feel energy wise and stuff like that. So yeah, it'd be good to see you. But yeah, back to me. So like I said, my name's Craig. And I've only been streaming for just under three years. I started properly streaming on the 3rd of November 2019. Just mere months before we were hit by what was later named COVID-19. So I guess the best way to start is by talking about the name. And it's a common thing that crops up with streamers, just like where did the name come from? I love my screen name. Because it suits me on so many levels. You know, you see some and there's like all these fucking numbers in there and shit and I didn't intentionally try to brand. Well, it kind of did. I'll go into detail in that. But you see some and there's like all this fucking how the fuck is someone gonna remember that, especially if you've got multiple numbers in a row, because they're 5 ones. And then if it pulls up a page not fine, you just like fuck that. Find someone else. So yeah, the try and Scotsman that name came about in 2014, 2015. I did record podcasts back then. They were shipped. But they were more aware of me journaling my depression. Like, just a way of me expressing my thoughts. And my teams I used to write poetry, some of them got published in what would you call them, and I'm solid. And I used to write a lot. I started lords of short stories and potential novel ideas that I never finished. I've got lords over the years that I've accumulated. Comic book scripts that I started, I don't know, I just, yeah, I find it very hard to go back to and I think that ties in with something else I'll mention in a bit. But yeah, the chemo point where I hit like this inability to write. I can write, but what I mean is kind of like writer's block, but more permanent. And I guess I kind of lost my imagination, it feels like I lost my muse. So yeah, it's fast forward a good few years. And yeah, I started recording podcasts. The first one I recorded with my eldest door. She was 5 at the time. And because I found these and I haven't listened through them all. I started listening. To the first one, and I kind of stopped because it was quite cute here than the way she was speaking, because obviously she sends so much different to those now. But yeah, so back then I didn't have a platform, I guess. I didn't have people that would be interested. It was just chucking out a podcast. For me, it was more just check it out. And see if anybody stumbles across it. Sadly, the wrong people seem to stumble across it. And I just got trolls. I think my issue was and this is something I've come to realize with Twitch. My issue was that I figured friends and family people that care about me and whatnot. They would want to listen. They would want to join in. They would want to watch. I don't mean that in a sexy way. Come on for fuck's sake. Oh my. But like they would want to shade in that, you know? And Twitch taught me that that's not the key. So that's an assumption that is just so far from the truth. I think out of all my Friends and family, maybe four, 5 people bothered with me on Twitch or bother with me on Twitch. I was in like pop in every now and again and see how well I figured it would be an increase because I live hundreds of miles away from my family. So I figured there would be that they haven't seen me in years. It's a good excuse to pop in. Even if it's just to see hello and how are you doing and stuff like that? And the same with work. Like I haven't seen people from work for over two years now. But no. And you know I do it because my face fake, I don't use Facebook. Like properly. Anymore. It's more my Instagram posts of me going live on Twitch. The automatically coursed to my Facebook. So they know where I'm at. They can come to me if they want, but they don't. But anyway, yeah. So obviously, I figured me talking about my depression and putting out as a podcast was a way of them being able to hear what I've got to see without the burden of being face to face with me and having to respond. And that's something that, again, ties in with why I love Twitch, so I kind of touched upon in the preview episode, but I think I got sidetracked because the confidence thing. The reason I can behave the way I can on calm. It's not because of my personality, I'm a completely different person, right?.

"I it's man. We didn't even talk about the i. Just that just made me while you're talking. I was thinking of like the quest where the tat the there these random people are beating the shit out of a politician and at and he's like a and then he's like a you save him and he's like i wanna take you out to for a meal and then it turns out. He wants to raise taxes and cure us mad at him so weird not only raising taxes. But he's you were developing his tax plan right right. Yeah the interactions. you have. it's like what do you think should be taxed carew and it's like your options are like everything or only the rich or just on mondays or something like that. It's like back obama's yeah so so every part of it is so fucking. God i don't i don't know i don't know what to say. I don't know how many different ways to say. This game is is weird and qualifies for the premise podcast. But also being on game pass man if you're looking for something to absorb a bunch of your time and i also think you can get a sense of what this game is and whether it's going to be for you matt i had there. I think you would probably agree within the first two to four hours. You kind of get into the game and are like okay. This is going to work for me or this is not going to click for me. Yeah yeah so. I i think if you have game pass and are curious. Try it out. 'cause i loved it that statement though you'll get a sense within the first two or four hours is not something you would say if a movie review castro you know like a tv show think what can episode tv like like no. You still have to commit half a day's work to know whether or not this is okay. You might like this right that's games..

"Iraq's and i. I love this game. I was shocked. I took it. This is i took this game to the beach out. I played it on my backbone. I could not stop playing this thing. I loved it. I'm gonna give it a ten. I fucking love jacuzzi and this stuff. I haven't done. I wanna go back in and do the other things. Yeah okay you gotta gotta do the cabaret club the real estate empire. Well those were our thoughts on the aca zero. But maybe we're wrong. Maybe we were wrong. We've got reviews that we've scrounged from the internet. And if we had a positive taken the game these will be negative reviews and we had a negative. Take on the game. These will be positive for viz. It's maybe we were wrong. I've got a review from metacritic or maybe his esteem store nine. Remember where i got this. Now she's a screen shot a random review. I sixty seven hours at review time. So i guess that's the steam store i'm giving this game thumbs-down specifically due to the catfight game. It's completely rigged. I used a script that would hit the iki at almost thirty times a second to test whether or not the effort is actually warded. Turns out even if you're fucking superman you can't win. Some of the draws from rock paper scissors. What a fucking joke. Yes so the the cat fight. This is another thing about the cat. Fight game then. I discovered and again add to go deep to get to get any intel on this because it's so obtuse the so if for instance rock verses rock that goes into a button mash mini game. It'll be like masher. Buttons mash the buttons. But the way that these the that the ai works is they will only mash back when you mash. So you're all your honestly probably better served you just leave it a chance and not even touch the controller but if you are going to touch the controller you like tap tap aid. You'd like once a second literally like once a second until it's towards the end and then tap as fast as you can and the a it won't be able to catch up with you. I found that to be a pretty reliable way to win those standoffs but again why would that be how it works. That doesn't make any sense at all. I've got one from the aforementioned patient. Gamers sub read it and i thought this was just like this was something that i that resonated with me. This is posted by by you perry win. I've discovered a major pitfall of being overly patient gamer on multiple platforms. So by and large gamer. I've had a pcs three library sitting my backlog for nearly decade figuring. Someday i'll get around to it in. My living situation are really have a good comfortable set for console gaming. You ipc so if your your time to knock some of these out well. I've run into a major snag. I've forgotten the late. Two thousands to to twenty times. This game came out. In two thousand fifteen was the era when game companies were obsessed with qt's quicktime events especially the x. button. I've been using xbox one controller for gaming on the xs and it's totally different spot than on the ps three controller. Do i muscle memory. Have been failing after cutie. The point where. I'm close to giving up on some of these games. I had the exact same thing happened to me in reverse. Which is that you know. I mostly play on playstation platforms or or switch. I mean xbox will use game pass on bbc or i used to have an xbox whatever. The old xbox was series. It wasn't series x one x one x. Yeah stupid when an xbox one i was i would use. I would play game pass games on that but like it's the know again being prompted with acts and having to relearn where x is is like a little bit of like a i again. Don't know a good way to do. This eventually came around to it. It just enough hours of gameplay to to immerse yourself with a controller. Layout but i i would literally have to be like okay before me to do this. X. y. a. b. That's where these things are position just to try to like blake drill it into my skull. I don't know if there's a there's there isn't a good solution for this from. I guess it's just play your multi-platform games on one platform and and deal with it. I mean you you could. You could make button placement universal on the playstation on. Like you just have a consortium of games and be like well it's always be then a and then it acts as always here and then you can choose your symbols or whatever the fuck you wanna put you know like. They can do that they could. Yeah get fucking get on the ball congress. What they're too busy investigating this january. Sixth thing trying to your mother. I have another review here. time this is a four. This prison reviewed it in nineteen. I think the name here is coup now canal canal. I dunno. I got zero in this month's humble bumble bundle humble. Bundle one of my nick wider. I was really looking forward to playing this game since. I've been eyeing it on steam for a while honestly. I'm glad i never pulled the trigger on this title when i first saw it on steam. The store page gave me the idea that it would be kind of like grand theft auto only with the at kusa and it's not really the case at all for me. Yuccas zero feels like a visual novel with sparse moments in between where you can walk around given fights that sort of thing but the game never feels deep enough or interactive enough to be able to really capture my attention that much if feels like grand theft auto superlight. The city map isn't all that big things have access to are few and far between there are very few times that you are really given the chance to actually make any sort of decisions and when you do it never feels like it has any sort of impact another aspect that i found fairly annoying. Is that this game is rated m for mature for blood. Intense violence sexual content strong language use of alcohol. It's pretty ironic. That yakuza zero managed to get an m rating and actually failed to deliver on almost any of these aspects. If you're going to be an m. rated game you should own it. Yuck zero actually goes out of its way to constantly avoid showing any sort of graphic violence. The blood shown in the game is fairly tame by almost all standards. The intense violence is pg thirteen at best use of alcohol. Some dudes drinking beers and as far as sexual content goes if you consider lingerie that literally covers everything then. You are curl clutching prude. Sure they say the f. word but so does everyone at my job. All my god. I i this guy folks. This is just a regular young gazette..

"A game. I think about when i'm not playing it for better or worse but i just i feel like it's it's kind of a madman's masterpiece and i always respect things like that. I'm gonna give this a nine point one. I really loved my time with it. I am gonna keep playing it. In fact i want to be playing it now. It's so it's just so fun and the stuff that annoys me about. It is also stuff that i find compelling what do you think well my positive thing about a game with lots of positive. Things is a thing we haven't even talked about. Which is the disco mini game. Where you dance with a partner at a club and why like this mini game is that i'm a human being who cannot dance but it breaks down the concept of dancing in a way that makes sense to me like. Oh yes this is essentially. What dancing is you have to be specific poses at specific times in the music and the more complicated. Your approach to those poses is the better. You are as a dancer. So it'll be like there's a grid of what kind of looks like a disco floor as your ui. And there's a slowly fading triangle button in the top corner of the grid. And if you take a complicated route with the deep head up to that corner and then press the button you are making a more complicated dance. Move on the dance floor itself. And i was like this is i mean somebody. Somebody got free beers after this like somebody was like what if like this and everybody was like. That's awesome when you're training training a hostess at hugh up to go dance and be like a better dancer than her. If you fail that task which. I did twice she. She knew go back to the club and she is so destroy. She's so she's she's like wow. I didn't expect to be a better dancer than you. And he's a yeah i. I'm sorry i don't know what's going on. She's like you suck at dancing. Nothing then you get zero loved it. I do feel like my frustrations with the game. Were more numerous than knicks. And so i'm not willing to give it a nine even though it is. It's a better game than room in the night sky which i gave a ten to put also like i didn't. Here's here's what causes demerits in a score for me. It's anytime i'm angry while playing video. Him not frustrated. Not like not like. Oh this is a hard boss to fight. Or oh man i like. I can't figure out like. I'm not good enough at racing this car but win a game just flat out is making me angry because it is something. I can't change about the game or do better than i feel like. It knocks it down a score. So i'm going in an eight point nine still a very good score eighty nine there you go. I love that. There's so many there's so many things. I wanna shout out things. We didn't even touch like there's like so many talking about this game over an hour away stuff. We haven't so many funny side characters like mr libido. We haven't talked about who is a wreck man. He's yeah walking erection and he's just wearing a diaper. He's basically a nude man in a diaper. He's very funny There's mr shakedown. Who is a giant man. Who if he sees you he will beat you up and take of your money and you can also rob him when he's asleep. He's a great character but aside from that one of my favorite sequences in the game. Because i finished the story overall story right. And there's a part in in mogae moas story in chapter eleven where you have to go with the detective and you have to go underground. Unlike underwater basically to this underwater prison like called the bed of sticks. And it's or all these criminals it murderers who are too dangerous for the streets in too dangerous for above ground. Prisons are sent so they can fight and kill each other and it is so fucking this to me makes this game. It takes it from just grand theft. Auto thing to a grand theft auto slash like metal gear slash kingdom hearts sort of tyrod or were some of. It's pretty straightforward. But then you have something as wild as this. And he. I i loved i. The idea of bed of sticks is so interesting to me that. I'm like i'm shocked. This is a movie. I was so like this idea rocks. I love this and so there is that. And then there Oh one screen shot that. I wanted to shout out the final thing that module says because i said i loved module the final thing mogae ma says before you start to sequence before you're when you're at the point of no return the bed of sticks is where you fight the joker right. Yeah there's a joke chucky. There's a human size chatty. Okay this what modulus says right before you hit the point of no return. This is probably my last day on earth gonna make sure i go out with nothing left undone. So that's giving you an option you can go back outside and finished any sort of side things before you finish the game but the sentence this is probably my last day on. Earth is such a funny definitive.

"Also i don't know knowledge about like japanese mafia hierarchy or any of this works or if this game is at all accurate but the rules of yakuza. Life are insane insane. Not and i'm not talking about like hey help help this fucking dog get into a fireman's outfit or whatever the fuck. I'm not talking about that shit. I'm talking about like okay. The premise of the game is that because because q beat up a dude in the empty lot and that dude was later murdered so so. He's being framed for the murder because of that he needs to take responsibility for the murder. Which means that he and his boss are going to be killed like get such an insane set of respect rules or like who takes responsibility for what that every time. There'd be like a dramatic turn. I'd be like really that's right. That's going to be okay. Yeah okay. I guess i guess if i got shot it would be my fault in the because like somebody be like. Don't you understand what this does to us. Yeah that'd be like yes i understand. It's you know that you mentioned the drama is really really good and like super compelling was super sucked in by pulled us i pull esteem review that i think is like as well as this game is like watching the godfather with occasional episodes of the simpsons in between scenes by marist on this team store and i think that maybe a show that kind of is that is the sopranos which has some really super funny like goofy stuff and characters. And it's never silly as this as this game is but then also just like just absolutely crushes dramatic arcs so yeah it's i don't know it's a it's a fascinating fascinating experience to play. I just i. i really didn't know what to expect going in. I'd heard so many be. I know some so. Many people are super into this series. And i'd always been interested in it. It's kind of game i like. I'm i'm just so it's so gripping and frustrating and maddening but also like just so fun to all of these things at once. Yeah it's this there what there are ten the if you're ranking score wise there are ten experiences in your sousa and there are also like threes and it's it and they are. They are absolutely those things too. It's like this is. This is off the charts awesome. What i'm doing right now is off the charts awesome and there are also times like i cannot fucking stand this and there is nothing redeemable about this moment and they're cobbled together in this game with at did like they just with no regard for one another like you can have the coolest fucking moment right before you have one of the worst moments. It's a real it's like it's like being. It's like taking a shower where somebody keeps changing the temperature of the water. I i.

"I looked up guides and the guides the steam discussions of the catfights are like. I don't know but i think this works like no one has any certainty as how the systems that are in this game actually work with each other. The ui is so like oftentimes the is like aggressively cluttered and it doesn't make sense. What so what An item means not. But i did figure out the catfights. I did figure out how to make money on the cat fights and it is like so for instance Each there's rock paper scissors and that that is like the wrestling moved. They are going to throw. And you ideally want account with the you know the other rock. It's literally rock paper scissors. And they have like a one to five star rating in each of those the one five star rating. I would think. I think anyone would think is like their strength or their ability at that. It's not that at all. It's the probability that they will use that move. So the reason that jennifer who is like the highest rated fighter is so difficult is not because she is more powerful because she ha- she is almost equally probable to use all three. So the idea. The way you win it is that you pick someone who's got low odds and take them up against someone who has like for instance five stars and rock to stars and scissors and one star in paper and you just go with paper every single time. Because they're most likely to use rock and you just hold it works out. It's so but like there's no way that you could infer that from the interface. But still i was like going to the real estate and then what what. While my real estate empire is not the way the wall cool down on what i can collect again is is going on. I go over the cat. Catfight i'd wager. Thirty million on a catfight. I triple my money. Just got a big cycle. Even though. I'm like this sucks. This is poorly designed how and also we. I'm so sorry but when like you touched on the misogyny in this game it is also just so unbelievably horny. It so oranje. Yeah yeah you. There is a in order to take over a certain business in a district in your cabaret club. Area that will help. Send fans to your cabaret club so that you can so that you can beat the other cabaret clubs in this like hostess off you have to watch real live action like marill not not softcore pornography but like girls in bikinis lag- licking balloons or a reich there but in between two pillows or like which its ion if i also don't i can't i. I'm familiar with the existence of these videos. Because i've been alive in like anime and video game culture for years but like what. This is the first time ever watched one. And i was like wait. Why wouldn't you just watch pornography. Wouldn't you go that extra step. I y by the sports illustrated swimsuit issue when you can buy hustler. But there's a market for it. I think there's people who are like maybe like i'm that's too much for me but i'll you know i don't know i agree to mary's bizarre. It might be cultural to like might. Just be like a halo. It's just sort of like more culturally acceptable then like pornography. 'cause like the i. I hadn't seen any of that before the one that i did see. I those vibe that sort of government was hey this isn't pornography but like you can kind of imagine if it was right right like of like. See what we're trying to do you get it well and this is the thing that game is not subtle about it. No you are. You're going to a there's like an erotic video you know like like just basically like a little room that you could go to in either of the maps and you go up to this You pay a clerk you go into your own booth and then you are watching like a vhs of this you know again this real like jv star in this and and you're watching this on a crt and then the way this etta sequence always ends is a close up of your character moaning and then a shot of a box of tissues. So the implication is very clear. There's another one like that. There's a there's a character who lukianov either of you did. Lucas sub story. But luca is a woman who is a hostess at the arcade at one of the one of the six arcade. And she like go through this whole question moisture's like hey if you beat my high score i'm gonna give you the right of your life and he's like the right of my life. This is cure you and the camera zooms in on his crotch and then zooms in on her krajina we yeah. We've got it we understood. It's like shaking. You like do you. We don't allow subtext here. There's so many sub stories that i mean. I think there's thirty for each character right. Yes it's then there's more than there's maybe like forty five is a lot. It's an enormous amount of of side. Quests that you go on and some of those questioned and like you get like an object or like something a piece of armor or a special sword or or whatever but as you progress through this game or at least for me because we were trying to hit this deadline i started hate. I resented when people wanted to talk to me. Because i was like oh my god do just fuck and tell me. Hey go beat up. My dad. And i'll be fine fucking do like. I don't need a year like well one time. My dad and i were good friends and we went out on a boat together and we had a good drink and then cut to mogae matt. And he's like oh and then he cut back to the guy and he's like but that was before my dad lost his job and you're clicking through each line dialogue and it tastes so fucking long like some of that was frustrating and. I don't know if that's because i was trying to compress this experience into a month's time and this game should be played over like six months or if that was just something that would have naturally ended up frustrating me on a regular style playthrough. Yeah i think. I think it's the latter because the way that it's structured is that characters will just you will just be walking down the street and then one of these cut scenes will begin like it's not like there's a character with a question mark over there had no be like. Oh i want to go talk to this person's like oh there's clearly a quest here. Let's see what's going on. I can ignore this of. I like the quest will just initiate and you can choose to do it now or do it later. Although early in the game it's not clear if you decline something that will be available for you later on so you're just like.

"What do you call him. Ufo catchers yes yeah the claw machines which are which are. I got pretty good at i. I'll i'll say but the and then some of these things have quest involved and others are just of there. For funsies like there is just the array of things available. There was a point in this game where it's just like here. You can fish. And i was just like a fucking coarse fishing in this god damn game. There's just absolutely everything you could imagine. You could do interactive piece of software. And so there's that but the main game play is combat based like the main thing is. You're either cure you. Who is one of the dual protected. Heather mentioned who is who is a very buff. Bruiser type a brawler of a dude. The strong silent type and then there's also a jima who is a much more of a kind of a spike spiegel from cowboy bebop like a slithery sort of. He uses evasion more encounters more but but like so much of it is just beating the shit out of an endless array of thugs of various sorts. I did not play team humor that way at all. I was like oh. This guy's got a baseball bat. I'm going to unlock everything for the baseball bat. Also it was deep into the game. Where i'd until i discovered that the weapons that you equip can be used in combat. I thought they were just changing your stats. And then i was like it's crazy to me that i can buy all these weapons and not actually use them and nowhere. In any tutorial that i experienced what was it like. Press down on the d pad and you can use the sword that you have equipped c. Because as. that's interesting to me. And i was saying to this saying seen this before we started recording. I think what's going to be interesting about this. Episode in this game is particularly. I think we all played it in a different way. Because i didn't by a single weapon one time in in this game at all. I didn't do any of that. How you finish the main story. Which i have not done yet. I'm thirty six hours. Deep in this game. I still haven't finished the mainstream. I wanted to circle back to. Also we were talking about the time commitment of this particular game and like yes how long to be the how long to beat suggests like it's like thirty plus hours somewhere between thirty and forty hours we started. I wanna make it perfectly clear. I think we started playing this game a month ago. Like we like we were like. Let's play that as our next game. And that'll be one that we do for a while. He had banked up a couple. And we'll just play that over until we record again and now we're recording it. I think maybe three to four weeks later. Yes spent. I've spent six to eight hours on the cabaret club many game on. Its own right because i am. There's so much to go for it. Neck was going to say we should. We should talk about that because it's so so the two. The two protagonists got cure. You've got medina. And they are. They really kind of parallel each other. In that they are both exiled from the accusa. For various reasons one gets exiled within the narrative. He leaves the accusations because he's framed for murder that carry the other is has been exiled already as the narrative begins and the job he has been given is to manage this cabaret which is a thing that i am not as familiar with heather. I think you have maybe ben to one of these. But it's like a hostess club where there are women who are basically there to just a company patrons so like you're you're you're you're there you pay money for drinks and then women come and sit with you and just make conversation with you and one of the two protagonists manages one of these organizations that to the organizations ultimately so i haven't been to a hostess club but i have been to. I mean it doesn't exist anymore. I think it was called queen dolchai or something like that in near akihabara and it was a cafe where they serve drinks and maybe a little food and the hostesses were women dressed as men who were giving a boyfriend experienced to women who didn't want to be to feel threatened by actual men so like the what are they call hostess and butler clubs or something like that like. I think that the guy wants if you're like an insecure woman would go and these dudes would be maybe a little intimidating to. You hadn't talked to a lot of guys. But what like we. for instance. Wait what are you. Are you the one the club saying i'm talking. Yeah no that's not. what would what's wrong. I think. I think that would be a really great introductory experience to a man for a woman would be nick wider on that. He's like he's like a low tier right lane. T- yeah yeah i. Yeah so. I went and you you get a drink in. My japanese wasn't good enough to have full blown conversations with these women dressed as men who were supposed to be boyfriend. But i did watch a woman come in with a gift for her boyfriend and they unwrap the gift and it was a sweater and it felt like i witnessing like a high school you know like a like a su- behind behind the track and field high school moment of birthday and the host went back into the bag and then came back out in the sweater and the girl blushed and ran away. that's amazing. Yeah so cabaret clubs are like a place you go at. We're hostess club. Is i guess please. You go where a woman sits down with you and talks to you and you pay a ton of money. It's like what do you call it. Escort services right. But there's there's not necessarily a tacit understanding that there's going to be any sort of sexual contact. It's just like we're just hanging out. It's literally paying someone for their company as my understanding. Isn't there like a documentary about this called. Like the great happiness space or something. Let me hold on. Let me look at happy space. Yeah the great happiness space and that's specifically about the japanese side of this except the great happiness space tale.

"Before we do that before we descend into what we call gaming hells first time to briefly touch on a game. We're enjoying or something that's happening in. Our gaming lives by first spending seventy seconds in gaming heaven. Matt say win go for. I just wanna say playstation nation. I still got your back. But when i saw that. The xbox was on sale at walmart. Knowing that i'm part of a video game podcast. okay. I gotta get an xbox so i'm joining up on the x. Box brigade what are you guys. Call it the boys. The boys the x. boys. I had to Rebe reactivated my xbox live account. And i haven't used it since the xbox three sixty so right now. The profile pictures at giant high-resolution circle with tiny tiny postage-stamp like screen shot from my at my like avatar on xbox three sixty like rightly you know. It's like looking at photographs from two thousand to yes. They're very very small and of course. I looked up my favorite game on xbox three sixty settlers of catan and boy. Oh boy. Was i bummed out that It is no longer available times But hey you get xbox game pass library which is extensive. And which includes this week's game. Yucca zero wow are just that's it. We're just going right for you. You have other. Here's something else to discuss. Nothing to talk. I i've done nothing. I think one of the things that people don't understand about this podcast. Or maybe i've said it before is The workload for this show can sometimes be omnipresent in your life And for episodes like this where we don't have a guest part of it is who the fucker you gonna ask. Hey can you drop one hundred and twenty hours in order game. You may not enjoy so that you can talk about it for seventy minutes with us. That's that's a big ask yes And then sometimes just you know. I'm scared of people. So there are people. I know i'm afraid to ask them. Hey do you and do the show. But i kept thinking about that for this for this episode. I'm like this is a big fucking game. It's a huge goddamn game and we can't who look it's not a fucking movie podcast right. This is the thing we need to rethink our format. And well. that's a discussion. We can have off pod. But i will say that we part of what we're trying to do is like okay. Let's have some we discuss. Like how do we make this more achievable for us where we can give these games. The sort of comprehensive attention that they demand but also like have other things that we can do with our lives and so you know one of those things is picking shorter games with the other thing is like okay. Hey here's a game that we wanted to play anyway and for me. This has been a game. That's kind of been in orbiting in my back log for a long time. I believe that's the case with you. Youtube have the right. You suggested this originally yeah. I enough people on twitter have been like you should play cousy next. You should play cousy next. And i was like which yakuza should i play. I and they were like yakuza zero. And i was like okay. So you coups zero. His action adventure game developed and published by sega which was originally released for the playstation. Three in two thousand fifteen in japan. It's most recent release was system. I've never heard of the amazon luna the amazon luna in june of two thousand twenty one. That's that's amazon's stadia. Yeah oh they're cloud service okay. So this is a an open world game that takes place in japan from december. Nine hundred ninety eight to january nineteen eighty-nine in commodore ocho and so tim berry which are sort of recreation. Mythologised is fictional versions of kabuki-cho and dotan bori in tokyo and asaka. So the first you play as an up and coming pair of yakuza or ex yakuza in the game. And that's i mean it's gte like could you say that it's a gte. Yeah it's it's you know it's an open world game. You can kind of pay the main narrative as much or as little attention as you like a but there are there is an endless array of things to do in this kind of sandbox. And i would say that it is kind of you know as as approach as opposed to because it's a huge game it is a massive game like the amount of content. That's in this game. Don't be deceived by how long to beat old saying that you can finish this game in thirty hours. You can't if you mainline it. But i think if you're actually experiencing what this game as over what this world has to offer you're going to spend a little bit more time in that and but it's it's like huge scope but it's not huge in scale. It's like a very like both cities that you inhabit are pretty small maps. They're like the size of an rpg town. They're just jam packed with content. And quests which is I think sort of an accurate game version of what. It's like to be wandering around in tokyo especially rice neighborhoods like the kabuki-cho is like a it's dense as fuck like i've been in tokyo i don't know seven or eight times now. Maybe more than that. And i've spent significant time there and there are times where you're like. Oh i'm gonna go check out this bar in this in this district and you'll go to a neighborhood and it's not it's like okay. What floor is the bar on. It's not like any. Maybe you're like. Is this bar on the sixteenth floor of this building with fifty bars in it. It's it's a really dense experience and the addresses are fucking crazy. So it's i don't know. I i was i had a lot of nostalgia feelings playing this game a lot of like i went to an area. The first thing. I did in the game is i went to an area where i've drank before went to a bar in that. Stylized version of the area ordered the drink that i usually drink when i'm at that bar and just sat there and i was like this is a lot this is. I'm having a weird feeling right. It's i am as someone who has never crossed an ocean. I am not well traveled. I will say that this is like oh. It's like a fun vacation to this fictional japan because it does feel very jam-packed and very alive and it's also things like it's just the streets are pretty narrow. The alleys actually feel like alleys. Everything feels pretty compact. When you walk into a bar it feels like oh. They're space for one person to sort of walk. Everything is really really compact but so there's endless things to do in terms of. Yeah you can. You can eat drink at so many restaurants. You can go to an arcade and play actual sega games. They've just got out an outrun cabinet. There and you can play outrun for his to your heart's content. There's like batting cages. There's one space harrier fantasies zone. It's i mean you can go to a fucking arcade and spend all day on the crane machines the skill the..

"This is the fundamental premise of. Cartesian dwarfism namely that the mind the world or mind and matter are of two distinct and separate essences, and because of this, they therefore exhibit different features, qualities and characteristics. Now, the card being a religious man and all went onto directly equate his formulation of the human mind with Christian notion of a human soul in terms of how this kind of union between mind and matter would actually work the French philosopher offered. US An image of the human body as an Automaton like machine, which is animated or brought to life by the human soul through the pioneer. Glenn a bit how a crane operator can operate and move the crane. It's levers, handles and cranks. Now, I should mention here that the pioneer gland, a small pinecone structure that is positioned more or less than the center of the brain of most vertebrates included his not. Only paramount to Cartesian Buddhism but has also become in recent decades an increasingly popular area of research among academics and scientists who are interested in studying the Inter relationship between sleep wakefulness dreams, and endogenous psychedelics. You see in humans the gland is involved in the production of two primary perception modulating hormones namely, Serotonin and Melatonin Moreover, Jews this year the pine cone shaped organ has been found to be involved in the synthesis. Or indigenous production of EMT, a highly psychoactive drug in the brain of rats a finding which opens up the possibility that the MT may also be produced in the Human High Neil Gland. In any case, they car living in the seventeenth century was obviously not aware of the hormonal role that the pineal gland may or may not play in the neuro modulation of human perception instead the reason why he selected this. Specific Oregon as the most likely candidate to house the human soul is because one the pinal glands, the only cerebral structure that is not replicated elsewhere in the human brain everything else in the brain literally has a double and because to the pinal glands location named the deep within the center of our brain just happens to also be where consciousness or the human mind is naturally perceived to be situated. So the fact. That the pioneer gland is a single unitary structure similar to the Christian theological notion of the human soul, and because we instinctively perceive our consciousness or our mind to also be situated near. Pinal, glance physical location namely behind our foreheads and in between our years was sufficient evidence to convince the French philosopher said the Pine Cone Shaped Oregon is the most probable place where such thing is the human soul would most? Likely be physically located. Indeed this is the essence of Cartesian Dulas him an immaterial soul that is housed or caged inside the pinal gland from cradle to grave in which by virtue of being conceptualized as distinct from matter or as distinct from the rest of physical reality is posited as being able to exist even in the complete absence or dissolution of the physical body in retrospect what this model achieve this to essentially. Shield, the theological notion of a human soul from the proverbial clutches of the Proto Scientific Worldview that had just started metastasized in western culture around the end of the seventeenth century you see by positing that the human mind and the human body are made of two different essences Cartesian dualistic effectively rendered the subject of the human soul immune to proto scientific methods of research and discourse and as a result of this. Any type of study that concerned itself with the human mind was to be relegated to theologians whereas any type of studied that concerned itself with the human body or arrest of physical reality was to remain within the domain of science or Proto Science. This is what I call. The Cards Gentlemen Agreement namely an implicit agreement that allowed the church to coexist alongside the emerging mechanical materialistic Proto scientific world view of the seventeen. Now, this approach undoubtably worked given that the cards gentlemen agreement remained by enlarge in place for well over three hundred years. In fact, both scientists and academics alike continue to view the subject of human consciousness as a taboo area of research until relatively recently be that as it may around the middle of the twentieth century something happened something changed specifically a number of scientific discoveries made during this. Period started to challenge the underlying assumption of Cartesian dualist. Namely, the notion that the human mind is somehow eggs essentially different from the human body or the rest of physical reality chief among these new discoveries was the finding that such rather basic psychiatric drugs as antipsychotic medication can radically change, alter and restructured human mind and human perception in general if mind and matter were indeed as different from each. Other as Cartesian dual ISM claimed than this should not at all possible. In fact, if Cartesian deism was correct, then what you would expect to find that consciousness would fly right through matter a bit like ghosts pass through walls in animated cartoons rather than being susceptible to the influence of basic psychiatric medication Gilbert rile summarized the predicament of Cartesian dualist in his book, the concept of mind which. was published in nineteen, forty nine by stating that the idea that a human mind somehow from a human body or indeed different from the rest of physical reality amounts to nothing else. Then quote the Dogma of the ghost in the machine and of quote now, I should note here that this is the first time to my knowledge at least at the phrase, the ghosts in the machine is used. In Western literature moreover, the phrase is used by royal is obviously derogatory nature and was intended to poke fun at the idea that humans are somehow composed of such two fundamentally different essences an immaterial mind namely, a ghost and they physical body namely a machine which can inexplicably interact with each other rather than pass right through one another yet in spite of the many limitations of Cartesian dualist. The philosophy nevertheless remained attractive in the following decades trying to figure out why Cartesian dualist refused to go away in spite of the many empirical findings that contradicted its underlying premise namely that the human mind is fundamentally different from the rest.

"It's really not that complicated. and Oh starting to write the outline for my book You Know I. M I own franchise franchise is starting to come along The book outline is done and now I'm looking for a coach to help me get through the rating of it. 'cause I can write actually a really good writer but I am lacking the ambition or something to actually get this will. There's also a side problem I was gonNA say. Get this down paper rate will. Let's so old school. I just dated myself so hard right there but my laptop is something up my laptop top in. I pulled it out the other day it would charge up in. I don't know if there's a hard drive issue or if somebody actually stole the hard drive out of it during some period of time because I haven't checked on it in a really long time So I'm hoping it's simply a battery but you know I think I owe myself a new laptop to write my book. Not Scott's old laptop I think he's just all bad juju right there you know thick. I need to earn earn. My Straits is in you know. Put my big girl panties on. Put some money out for my future in this book which needs to be written. You know the podcast ask is basically the preview of the prelude to the book. 'CAUSE IT'S GONNA go so much deeper not that this hasn't gone even even it will still go deep but Yeah I think I need to treat myself to a new laptop for this new section on my life that starting in Also I wanNA kinda upgrade the podcast in. I need a laptop so I can you know do more legs. Zoom stuff or You know like facebook live or not you know not that but you know what I mean for the podcast in so I can also maybe start to get this on youtube maybe but I need a new laptop. That's definite number one thing. I can still start the book by hand. It's not impossible possible to do. It is old school. I am old school in a way. So it's not unheard of to do it that way. But once it starts rolling having transcribe everything that's written down is going to be a freaking nightmare so Yeah I think I'm GonNa wait until Black Friday. Try so hard to save money next month so I can get a laptop for like you know. Cheap doesn't have to be top of the rails. Mac Volker would. That's how much I know about them. Is that such as a Mac book is sounds like it sounds ridiculous so I really don't think there is one but y'all know what on-site I'm saying if you don't just laugh 'cause that was silly So that's kind of a real quick check in I WanNa thank you all again for listening and Getting me to this mark which when I first started seemed impossible to reach seemed absolutely impossible to reach a thousand listens and now I'm there I know the next thousand is GonNa go. Quick in five thousand is going to be the next milestone in. We'll see right. I mean I will eventually hit it because I'm not giving up on the podcast anytime soon. I really did you feel there's a need for it so Again I want to say thank you one thousand. Thank you guys really. So this is Don Shrewd and this is my podcast dancing with bipolar. Hit a thousand. "Hi this is Don Serene and this is my podcast dancing with bipolar well to me. It almost seems mandatory that I need to do is show when I hit milestones and this is one of the biggest milestones to me as far as I'm concerned in the podcasting world because it actually makes me legit so thanks to you and you and you and nine hundred and ninety seven others like you. I hit a thousand young you so excited. I woke up the small. Actually I didn't sleep at all last night. I had terrible stomach ache so I will. Oh I didn't wake up. I she when I finally checked my phone and I knew it was coming close. I was with like within twenty six or something like that in turn my phone and went to anchor and there was this big one K.. Rate there is like Oh my God I did it. It's it's just it's just too hard to explain. But it's like it's so What does the word I'm looking for it like I said it makes me legit? It's just it's so showing me that I'm doing the right thing. I'm on the right path off. I might not get everything as soon as I think I should get it. You know I- Legitimately felt like I should have thousands at ten episodes in when I still had no clue what I'm doing will I mean I still kinda really don't have any clue as to what I'm doing but I must be getting better at it because us the numbers have been going up obviously at two thousand. But I'm just talking when a show comes up the numbers on hidden you know tens immediately which which anchor shows me when I hit Tanu when I hit twenty five and after that for some reason it stopped calculating so I have to keep looking back on the older shows now to see which ones are at got a hundred and there's a few that are close to hit not hundred mark in one of them. I got love that had hit one hundred quit a while ago and now it's at like one thirty so I just really I'm excited by this Is just a way of you all saying that you accept me in that you accept the show that I am helping people that there is something bigger coming out of the show than me just jabber not. y'All for ah you know fifteen to twenty minutes or having some bomb guests on that. I hope you all get something out of those interviews that I do too in a scene that I am here. I don't have a guest in haven't actually checked in a really long time Just about me you know. Maybe it's time to give you guys a little bit of what is actually going going on in my life. Not a whole lot kind of ally but not really early on the podcast takes a lot of time. I'm not joking the prep work and the Getting Ready for interviews and the podcast itself off of all the tech stuff that can go wrong will go wrong and does go wrong almost every time I do an interview. So annoying The P. We are is constant. I am constantly pushing the show always on twitter facebook on. Read it anywhere that I can My podcast into I'm doing it and it seems so unnatural for me when I first started doing it like this isn't what my my style is. I don't push it. I just kind of let people discover it but I soon discovered that in this podcast land. If you're not hype in your Shit Nobody's hype in your Shit for you So I have become the master of PR for my show That too. I'm sure had a lot to do you with me hitting this milestone today but It's it's no joke. If you're thinking of starting your own podcast really be ready for all the outside work. It's not all just hitting record in talking. There is so much more to it than that anyway. And then there's also the accountability of what I'm talking about in Mr Mia call. Are you GonNa Call Bullshit on me. Am I basically just talking about my ass. Shit you know. Or Am I legitimately we telling you how it is in. You know how I see or how my guests see it you know or how it really is. You know 'cause In the land of bipolar as we know delusion is a friend of mine and accountability is huge to me. 'cause I don't WanNa lead anybody wrong I don't want anybody coming back on the show and saying that you know you didn't tell this truthfully so therefore this this and that happened in. That would be devastating to me. You Know Oh and you know this might be a good time also to you know. Tell you all again. I'm not a doctor. I don't pretend to be a doctor. I'm not a therapist. I am a person. I am not has mental health issues and I'm talking straight out of my experiences with it in my guests talking straight out of their experiences. This is with it or their child's experience with it in how they fell or Experts experience with it in the numbers that they have to back up. You know what what they're talking about so I just want to be really clear on that I by no way shape or form Dr I am you know no. I'm not a professional. Well I might be professional at some things but I'm definitely not professional in the In the field the mental health field as a professional accept a patient okay so what else is happening I've not worked on my other business in months and I'm starting to really get the rich to create something again in not I pull back from the podcast not at all but find a way to better utilize my time and Step back to some of my creation. Because I think I'm being being a little bit stifled I knew that starting this was going to be tough and I knew that I was going to have to treat it like my baby which it is well other than my dog dark. Who who is my big baby? this is my baby. This is me and I am putting myself out there to be. Judged ridiculed hopefully laughed with in not at so much But you know I don't know I'm hoping I'm hoping that I'm helping you you know I really m. I'm hoping that people aren't just listening to for the comic effect. 'cause I get that it's there okay it was unintentional will is still unintentional but I get that it's there and it just shows as part of my character that you know. I often find humor as a hedge to sadness. Sadness or disappointment or fear You know in a comes through in. It's been part of my whole life so when I'm telling stories stories and I laugh I'm kind of laughing at it from the time that it happened. Not laughing at myself now of Over that I've grown up. You know I've taken some Taking some they're taking a lot of therapy I've taken some recent classes to learn how to build up my confidence in not let my ego scare me from doing things And not let my ego. Tell me that I'm an idiot for thinking that I can do things because my ego is a big fat liar in Balthasar and he has no fucking clue what he's talking about. But you know I would while we we listened to him and just blindly go along with what Baltasar was telling me in. You know I don't anymore you know starts he starts talking up in my head and stuff and I just shut him straight down now. 'cause I'm leading my life now it's mine you know in no alter ego is going to tell me that I'm worthless and can't do this this when obviously I hit a thousand so I can't do it. I'm getting. I'm getting because they didn't get any sleep last night too. You know okay all fall. I shouldn't have had greasy as pizza in the water. You know lesson learned probably not but I'd like to say is the lesson learned but yeah This this is not. This is not a new thing with me What else is going on? So let's go into the triangle. I am deciding to make the triangle a straight line honestly I'm cutting one of them. How Scott I'm going to take a serious with this other guy. We've had the talk so to speak. And we both admit were idiots in assholes and that the way we were acting before we took our two-month breath break up which was devastating to me. I'M NOT GONNA lie. Broke my heart to lose a friend To lose a friend first and then to lose everything else that went along with having him in my life it was just devastating and I broke down I to to tell him that you know I was sorry that I claimed responsibility for what happened. Because you know I threw threw under the bus in a way you know Scott would call i. I would come running and be with him in. I would get a text from Scott. I wouldn't even think twice about it and be on my way the door which was so unfair. You know even though he knew about Scott still so unfair and last time I did that. And I'm looking I looked back at him and I could just see that had just fucking absolutely crushed his heart. I knew cared about me I didn't know how a much I wanted to think I knew how much but it was awful. What I did? It was uncalled for and it was totally rude in Selfish you know really selfish. You know Scott doesn't have a phone that's working right now. I couldn't get a hold of the man if if my life depended on it but here I am. You know throwing someone that I love. All right I just said it to start to cry throwing someone I love. Lake Away And he's too important to do that so I choose him I think he chooses me. I'm pretty sure chooses me. You know We're going to have another big talk soon to see if we're ready to go like facebook public That's my plan. Anyway you know I don't want to just go ahead. He has to approve it anyway. So he's going to be be aware of the fact that I wanna do this but Seek maybe we should talk about it first before we do it and make sure that were both down. We're both on the same a page that you know. We're we're in it to win it here. You Know Anna. He's my writer die. You know he is..
