"One 75, reflecting a more base case valuation in this uncertain environment as some demand headwinds start to creep into the Cupertino growth story. He wraps the note saying Apple remains our favorite tech name and we maintain our outperform rating. One more month of this until we hear something from Apple, the Cupertino company updated its investor relations page on Wednesday saying when the next earnings report and associated call will be. Earnings for the much troubled December quarter will drop via press release on Thursday, the 2nd of February, Groundhog Day if you can believe it, the numbers will hit after the bell four 30 eastern one 30 Pacific. Folks get 30 minutes to snack on those, then comes the call. Apple execs will join Apple watching financial analysts at 5 p.m. eastern 2 p.m. Pacific for color questions and fingers crossed, answers, you can listen to that as it happens on Apple site, the company will make it available as a podcast soon after, and of course we will go over the big points right here on the 3rd of February, which I believe is groundhog boxing day. Apple has been hit with an €8 million fine in France, 9 to 5 max as the Cupertino company has been penalized the equivalent of $8.5 million over the way it used to serve personalized ads in iOS. In a statement posted Wednesday, the country's national commission on informatics and liberty said it had found that under the old version 14 6 of the iPhone operating system, when a user went to the App Store, identifiers for several purposes, including purposes of customizing advertising ads, displayed on the App Store, were by default automatically read on the terminal without collecting consent. The country settled on the penalty amount of €8 million based on the number of people affected, as well as the amount apple makes on ads. While the $8.5 million may seem like chump change for the Cupertino company, it is not an amount apple is interested in paying. Apple issued a statement saying we are disappointed with the decision given the commission has previously recognized that how we serve search ads in the App Store prioritizes user privacy and we will appeal. One Apple store in France is going dark for a bit apparently. Apple cider cites a report from Mac generation saying apple confluence and Lyon will close mid month to be refreshed. The store is still sports the classic look, aluminum walls and the old wooden tables, according to the piece. Details of the remodel are known according to apple cider, but apple will likely update this 1200 m² store to be more in line with its other mall based stores, stop will apparently be moved to other stores in the city during renovations. Nothing official on this from Apple, though Mac generations as staff has been notified, they've also reportedly been told to warn customers of the closing when handling repairs. Apple insiders has the apple confluence store is expected to close for at least two months, starting on the 15th of January. More news in a moment, but first a word from today's sponsor, notion. "Find another movie, but this one's not going to get made. Hey, we're going to take a quick break. Welcome back to the thought of a nice show. I'm from shooting with a different coriander over from instinct magazine dot com. Hey Corey, let's get to the pose. Last year, we talked about Britney Spears, who does not want to pay her mommy's 660,000 legal bills. Should Brittany pay. 95% said no. Absolutely. And I want to know about the 5% that said, yes. Yeah, what's wrong with that? Absolutely. Not a furious about this leave Britney alone. Don't forget to vote on today's poll. Go to our Twitter page at naughty nice rob. Our Facebook page is naughty gossip and be sure to check back on Monday to hear your results. And now it's time for our nice of the day. Yes, well, and more Brittany news. So Britney Spears says that drew and Kate Hudson are two of the most beautiful people she's ever seen. She's referring to Drew Barrymore and Kate has it, of course, so she says, I've met thousands of celebrities in the business, but I have to say, the two people where I literally went speechless were Kate Hudson and Drew Barrymore spears wrote. So she says they are by far the two most beautiful people I've ever seen in my life, like shocking. She recalled having an awkward first encounter with Hudson. She said, I had to open my stupid mouth with Kate, so I ran away immediately and withdrew, I just went mute spears said. So it's kind of funny, you know, I've had that too. Again, the Sandra thing, being in her circle, all these other bigger celebrities and one night, I was in front of Liza Minnelli and Charles as and James Taylor and sting and I was like, you know, couldn't speak, I couldn't speak to any of them. But it's too much. I like that feeling though, because we see a lot of celebrities we know some of them. Yeah. I miss the days of getting stars struck I used to love when I was a little boy. God, the thought of Madonna and Michael Jackson. Oh, I couldn't even imagine meeting anybody like that. The most beautiful celebrities I've ever seen I've ever been with I've ever met in person is Jennifer Lopez. And I've never had without her makeup on her. Without her makeup, she's even better. Looking like Jennifer Lopez, it's just, it's godly. Her skin. Her skin is just so loneliness and just the way she walks..

"So Emma heming will as she revealed her husband's aphasia diagnosis publicly last week, and she shared new video and new photo of the actor on her Instagram story. So in the clip, Bruce is seen walking near a serene river. And Emma also posted a picture with Bruce, which was taken by their ten year old daughter Mabel, so the couple they've been married 13 years. They also share a 7 year old daughter. Evelyn as well. Yeah. For people who don't know aphasia is a cognitive disorder. And Bruce has been dealing with this for a while, and it affects a person's ability to speak and to comprehend and understand others. So it's bad enough that this would happen just on your day to today life, but if it's your livelihood as an actor as a performer, you can only imagine how devastating that must be because can not communicate just awful. I had a friend who suffered this after they had a stroke and I'm pleased to report they actually bounced back not a 100%, but they did make significant improvements. So I guess the family I hope the family are working really hard with him. It's lovely to see him, man. Yeah. After this diagnosis, I think we all were curious, maybe even nosy. We wanted to see him at a picture of him looking great and smiling and with his family out with nature all around him. It made me happy. I'm really sending this entire family and Bruce. Just the best. Hey, before we get a break, JoJo Siwa, I love her. I didn't really know very much about her. But she's everywhere. She's so much fun. She's loud. I would almost say obnoxious, but I mean that in the nicest possible way. It's a lot. It's a lot. It's full on. It's like Liza Minnelli. It's full of. It's never 80%. It's a thousand all the time. Well, she's no longer starring in Will Smith's new film, but but it has nothing to do with the slap. He's saying, so she was going to take part in the movie. It's a big break for her. He was producing it now she's dropped out of the movie, so everyone's like, what happened? I'm being told she actually dropped at months ago. And it has nothing to do with the slap. She dropped out before then the project was put on hold. I think what people don't realize is even superstars like Will Smith. It's very difficult to get anything made. The fact anything is in a theater. A movie theater, a legit theater on TV, it's a miracle. Most projects do not get made. They really don't. I don't, you know, I have to pinch myself about this, Corey, because we work in this business, and yet I'm still surprised how difficult it is to get anything done..

"I sort of like his music more than Kanye's I personally consider him a bigger star. What's interesting about this though and it brings up a big conversation for all of us when you find out somebody in your office somebody in your company is earning more money than you. Right. What are you doing about it? What do you do about it? I have been in a position where I found out somebody doing the same job as me was earning more money and it made me really angry and I demanded to get the same amount of money I did it was the biggest mistake I made because then suddenly I was earning way too much money and I had to give up my weekends and I had to work it later. I would rather earn a little less and my weekends like it's interesting. People our age Corey were always about the money and how much you earned soda gave you your worth at a job. Younger people now, they want other stuff. They don't just want money. They want weekends off. They want to work from home, and I've adapted it and to be honest, Cory now. I know what I need to earn to live the life I want to live. Not the life of Madonna or Beyoncé. I don't live like that, but the life that I like, enough money to take my friends out for a drink at bottle, you know. If I've got enough money with that and enough money for a pair of shoes and that every week, but every couple of months that I can, I don't need as much money as what I thought I did when I was younger. And so I actually sort of enjoy early in the middle. No, I'm like the girl from Willy Wonka. I'm like, I want the world. I want the Ho well. Yeah, I need a big paycheck. But in this case, I think in this case, what's interesting though is you have to ask is the job of headlining worth 8.5 million or was it 8.5 million offered to Kanye based on who Kanye was? So to your point, it's just two different ways of looking at this scenario. Yeah, yeah. It's complicated, isn't it? Because Mika brzezinski, I love her. Good morning. Joe. She tells everybody to know their worth. And I love that message. I think though you have to have a really honest conversation with yourself because to be honest, Corey, I'm not worth that, but there's a lot that's a lot of people that can do what I do. I'm not that exceptional. I do a good enough job, but I'm not right Seacrest. I'm not undercover. So I fight it. I do differently. I say you're very good. But it's a conversation that you have to be really honest with yourself about. I've met people who think they are worth a $1 million, a $1 million, and I don't want to rain on their pay and say, well, actually, I can get somebody else to do it for 80,000 a year. And so you have to really be honest with you. Can you play this game? And are you willing to walk away? What is the point? It's much more complicated than it first seems. You're only gonna take home 60. It just doesn't make any sense. Right? So I would suggest that I am not too harsh and note. I am not too brutal on 41 case in IRAs because for 70 to 80% of Americans out there It's a failed experiment. It didn't work. It didn't get people to where they need to be. And the people are not happy and those people are fighting us. They're fighting us here at last out there coming in. They're having an A ha moment an epiphany moment like I had this weekend, the two day seminar. People come in and they go. It's amazing. They come up to me and say Man. I heard you on the radio. It sounded good. It made some sense. But I just couldn't wrap my arms around it. It just I couldn't get it. And now I get it. Some people get it in the first half of the first day. Some people get it in the last half of the last day. But when it finally strikes you in the light bulb goes on and you realize you are going to be able to retire. With a great lifestyle. Between two and seven years from now. And you've got to be really, really a bad situation. It takes seven years. But, hey, I'm just trying to be open ended about this thing and say, Hey, let's be let's be fair. Some people can retire immediately. In fact, one guy had brought two bodies this weekend. He was telling the story. It was to laugh he goes, You know, Two years ago, my wife and I was sitting there and I told her there's no way I could ever retire just won't happen. Because my hobbies too expensive and we don't have enough money ain't gonna happen. He was sitting there now. Two years later, and he was retiring in 274 days. And The conversation came up and he goes, You know, Once I finally got that epiphany like you always talk about that light bulb came on and I figured out how I was going to do it. I could see the map necessary to get there. Said. I can't I couldn't believe it took me so long to make it happen. I said, how long did take you to make it happen? So it's been a year he goes whole year. I thought I could do it much quicker, and I laughed and I said, Look, you've been working for 40 years. 40 years to save up the money that you couldn't even dream of retiring on And within one year You're now looking at retirement and actually is going to be about two in totality by the time, he said. He's got another 274 days, so Two years. Come on, man. Come on people out there. How many of you want to do something in your life? And I'm not even talking about what you're thinking. I don't even know why you guys other than the people that already 50 are worried about retiring by 60. If you're out there, you're 20. You're 30 years of age. I had a guy on the radio year yesterday, Who's 30 years old and retired making 100 grand a year. Had another guy on a couple weeks ago. 26 years old. It already owns his own to own businesses making over $100,000 here and retired, not you know why he's not retired because he never had a job in his life. He started right out of high school. It has never had a job in his life. He now owns two businesses. And over the last 2.5 years, he's made himself his family. His partners $8.5 Million.

"Stay. If it's the right price. You keep him. Keep a guy like that. He knows the system. He knows the game. He knows how it's played safety Shaun Williams, There's another guy that you look at him and say, Okay, if there's somebody better out there, grab him, if not Bring him back these air the decisions. The teams have to make tough ones sometimes easy one other times. Alex Erickson. We talked about Mike Daniels. Sure love to see him come back. Absolutely love to see him Come back love to see him come back and healthy and play alongside DJ reader. I think that would be terrific Carl Lawson. Kara Lawson is going to be a big big decision for this team to make. Carl Lawson was injured early in his career. He came back from a really significant knee injury and he performed. He's a good edge rusher. Not great. What good that he had decent numbers this year. If you looked at Coral Lawson, one would think that an opposing defensive coordinator would look at him and say, That's somebody we gotta worry about. Carl Lawson's market value right now. This is according to Sports track $8.5 million for 2021. Probably on a four year deal. 35 a half million dollars that's where you get into Eyes. It's something that I want to pursue or do I let the market set the price for the player and not do a preemptive signing. The Bangles have a lot of decisions to make. The biggest, of course, were along the offensive line. They need a right tackle. They need a guard that could play either the right or the left side doesn't matter. They need a guard. They have a huge question mark its center. Because Trey Hopkins is coming off a a very devastating knee injury and significant surgery. The left tackle first round draft pick a couple of years ago, played well last year, not outstandingly well, but played well. The entire offensive line has to be rebuilt wisely. They've brought back an offensive line coach who should have never been let go in the first place, and now perhaps we'll get to see exactly what he could do to try and develop somebody else that looks like he's walking down the road to with them. And that would be Billy Price. I need to go out and they need to buy free agents. We've say this every year in the off season. We preach this every year in the off season. Teams get better through the draft and through good free agent signings. Maybe players that only have a year or two left in the tank. But players that can come in and lift the existing players you have over the top. And get you where you have to go to Before you can get players you draft, ready up and running and willing to contribute. That's what free agency does. Joe Thelonious sitting out there. Now he's a well coveted guard. He may not even leave the New England Patriots. But if the New England Patriots are ready to let him go and not make it home for the Bangles should pounce on him. It will cost them a ton of money. There are a couple of tackles that they could look at in this off season in this free agency period that are plugging guys at right tackle. They need to be competitive. One thing every NFL team needs to compete. Is a franchise quarterback on a rookie contract. It is the golden rod for any NFL team, and that's what they have in Joe Burrow. Why did Kansas City excel with Patrick Mahomes? He was a rookie contract. And he was someone who was a franchise quarterback. You have that here in Borough. We know that they didn't protect them well enough last year, we know they didn't have the talent along the offensive line last year. We know that it was a miscalculation last year's to what they had on the offensive line. I don't think they can afford to make the same mistake again. I don't think they'll make the same mistake again. But it will cost money. But in the NFL Well, you don't have guaranteed contracts when you can play a free agent game that you're not saddled with for three or four or five years down the road, but somebody right now that could come in and help you. It's the easiest sport of the four major sports to turn around in an off season. This team isn't going to get better Super Bowl contending better, Maybe not even playoff contending better in this offseason. There's a lot of work that has to be done. There's been a lot of atrophy. There's been a lot of money spent on players that frankly shouldn't have been here is long as they have But it could it could happen, it could be done. Let's see how wisely they play the game. There's a lot of smoke out there. There won't be any fire until about three weeks from now when he could start legally signing players. When that happens, Watch the Bangles. If they're in the fray in the first couple of days, you know, they mean business if they sit back, and they bottom feed. They try to see what's left after all of the great things or picked before them. Well, then, you know, maybe Maybe it's going to be another long haul next year. Joe Burrow on a rookie contract. Not that he's going anywhere after that contract, But after that contract, he is going to cost them an inordinately Maura amount of money more than what they're paying now. Now is the time for them to act watching that game last week. It's not that hard to fathom. The Buccaneers were absolutely in a wilderness before Tom Brady arrived. Tom Brady is not coming here. A Tom Brady player probably isn't coming here. What you can get enough really good players to come here to take what you got. And make it work. It's on them. Coming up on 9 19. We've got a lot to get to today on the show, and we're going to talk about best case and worst case scenario for the Bangles in this offseason. Gonna talk some baseball too. I don't know if you heard this, but In the last week, the major league baseball suits decided several things about this upcoming season one Is that there will be no Universal D h and that hurts the Reds. It really hurts the Reds. They have a have a glut of outfield talent. And the wonder as to what to do with Nixon. Zell continues. If you look at the Reds this year, they're starting outfield should be Winker. Akiyama cost ya Nos. And maybe on an off day you slide in somebody like sends l somebody like Akino to give somebody a day off. But that should be your starting outfield. What do you do with sends? L That's a guy that you groomed as an outfielder came up. Is it in view of groomed is an outfielder. I've heard a lot of people friends. Other people in this business, say, Well, look, making plays shortstop. He can't play shortstop. They tried that before why they groomed him for the outfield. So I'm kind of surprised that sends Ellis still on this team. He may not be come opening day. They may indeed try to trade him because there is no universal th this year. There's also seven inning double headers. This year. The major league Baseball is lashed onto something here that I know infuriates a lot of traditionalists, seven inning double headers. I gotta tell you Was not a big fan of this before it was implemented, But after watching it, it makes sense. Look, we live in a society right now, where were tugged in so many different directions We have families to attend to. Some of us are trying to find his much work is possible. Some people you may know them. It may be you working three jobs, three part time jobs just to make up for a full time job you might have lost a year ago. You don't have the ability to sit either in a stand or in front of the television set to watch 29 inning games. It just doesn't work. So baseball has decided that this is a good way. To address scheduling issues and move the game along. It also We'll save a lot of wear and tear on pictures, arms. I like that and teams with good bullpens. Solid bullpens are going to benefit from this the most And they're also going to start again playing to the crowd that really doesn't have the attention or the time or the money to spend on baseball as it was, in its traditional sense, They're going to start again extra innings with a runner on second base..

Anthony Davis finalizing five-year, $190 million max deal with Lakers, agent says
"Or Chris? Paul. What kind of money in contract negotiations? Did Mr Clutch sports full in this league on LeBron and then a D and back to back days? What is he charged for? That One quarter, then 2% 3% no more than three right. I do have a friend. That's an agent and I'm doing this off in time. My head, but I think They get generally between what four and 10% depending on the sport. It depends the more you make, the less the percentages so I I paid agents 10% most of my life, but I don't make that much. But a guy like LeBron James when he's your buddy. Yeah. You know, I I would think probably 3% would be The going rate, uh, for that, but I mean, he did monster contracts back to back. On. It's the relationship with LeBron. I mean, they grew up together, and he's the guy who's got trained my green as well. And they all orchestrated the The Anthony Davis, You know, transaction to hold out from New Orleans and put on the T shirt that that's all folks and, you know, just kind of tanked on there all year and Even though they were a playoff team, and you made the point that They? They both got massive contracts. I mean, LeBron, a two year $85 million extension. Could. It could have gotten more I think and then Anthony Davis, a five year 1 90 he can get out of here is an early termination doesn't have to go to the fifth year. So I don't know. You know, the the roll back and in the B R. I Is going to affect most people, but I don't know if it'll affect them. There is a very top end. But I think they probably could have squeezed a little more juice out of it. To be honest with you, but they all signed back to back so We're looking at the Lakers being the dominant team in the NBA for at least the next three years and more. It's interesting that actually A D committed to a year beyond LeBron. So I mean, LeBron is you gotta play more than just this

LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers agree to two-year, $85 million contract extension
"And i mentioned lebron james. Lebron james continues to just print money. His agent said today. Lebron has signed a contract extension with the lakers. Two years eighty five million dollars. Two years eighty-five million dollars if they cloned and cloned you one hundred times we would make eighty five million dollars over two years so this is. This is the math on this. Between now and the end of the twenty two twenty three season which is where this contract extension takes into the end of the twenty two twenty three season. Lebron james will earn over one hundred and twenty five million dollars. That's one hundred twenty five million over and above what he's made so far in the nba's in his nba career three hundred and ten million dollars so at the end of the twenty two twenty three season just on basketball alone not on endorsements not on anything else except bouncing the ball in the nba for eighty games a year at the end of the twenty two twenty three season lebron james made in his career four hundred and thirty five million dollars let that sink in just for a second
