"From my understanding took 15 minutes to respond. Which for a couple $100 was probably been enough time to prevent the perp from entering the building and for a couple of $1000 for instance, why it definitely would have. Talking about laminated glass. Four or $500 more for opening. I've been in the business 30 years with a hammer and a pair of glass gloves that take me 5 to ten minutes to get into. Wow. So that which could be the difference between life and death. They could give the police time to show up. Specification for hurricane glass that would have been a maybe 2000 for opening more. Right. And it's 9 sixteenths impact. Well, I mean, I mean, there's no doubt FD and I appreciate your perspective and it sounds like you know your stuff. Our schools are soft targets. "Now is Riley gaines. A former professional and professional former college athlete and swimmer who had a compete against Thomas, the man who is a cheater and she should have probably won the national championship if it wasn't for the man. Riley, welcome to the program last time you were here. We made a lot of headlines. And so welcome back. Well, thank you so much for having me on again, Charlie. Of course. All right, I'm gonna play this piece of tape for our audience. This is an ESPN little biopic, if you will. Celebrating women's history month by showing a man. Thomas, play cut 18. In 2022, swimmer Leah Thomas became the first transgender athlete to win an NCAA Division I championship by winning the 500 freestyle. The Texas native competed for three seasons on the men's swim team at the University of Pennsylvania. She began her transition after her sophomore season. She said she holds her persistence, serves a larger purpose. People will say, oh, she just transitioned, so she would have an advantage. They could win. I transitioned to be happy. Why are the women at ESPN putting up with this? I don't know, Riley, your thoughts. I have no idea why the women are putting up with this. I don't understand. It's like they don't see the irony of celebrating a man during women's history month. How are these women okay within? It begs the question, where are the feminists? Where are the women? Where is the group who wore the pink hats? Who wanted to empower women real women? I can't even answer that. I will say though that I just admire states shield who's an ESPN reporter. She does SportsCenter, I believe. And she stood up to this and she said this is wild. This is wrong. She recognizes the differences between men and women, men and women, and why it's unfair and harmful for women to have men and women sports and in our locker rooms.

'Bitcoin NFTs' Put Blockchain Purists on the Defensive

"One of the pieces of news that's been going on this week is that there's some drama in crypto Twitter about Bitcoin NFTs. So I did not know that Bitcoin NFTs were a thing. Apparently they're not super, they're kind of a thing. So it comes down to this project called ordinals, which was launched by a Casey rod armor. And the TLDR is that there are these NFTs on Bitcoin that basically they are being so you have a satoshi, which is the smallest unit possible on Bitcoin that you can transfer. So you take this one satoshi, and this one satoshi, when you transfer it, it has some metadata that you shove into the witness that is like, okay, here's what the NFT is. Here's what it does. Here's the color, the size or whatever metadata you put with the NFT. And so all this stuff is not sort of depending on how you qualify the witness, which the witnesses can now be larger in Bitcoin thanks to taproot. They don't necessarily have to be persistent on chain, but a lot of people do persist these witnesses. So that's where this NFT metadata is going. And it is making people in Bitcoin land mad. They are mad that there are some people who are shoving this NFT data into Bitcoin witnesses because it's quote unquote clogging up the chain. So now these ordinals in absolute terms are not super popular in a ton of volume right now. I think going through these Bitcoin NFTs, but there's a lot of argument about it. They have a dancing baby one. These are beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Wow. What are you guys thoughts on the ordinals drama and Bitcoin people getting mad about NFTs? I just don't understand why any Bitcoin supporter would be mad that people are using the Bitcoin blockchain. I think one of the most layers thing is actually, so there's a meme about hitting the witness size limit, which is like a round four megs, and we actually just did it an hour ago before this recording. So Wednesday, February 1st, around 5 between 5 and 6 p.m., like in the last hour ish. Was the first block. And it costs one BTC. It was basically nothing for filling the whole block. So don't like big blocks, they're just kind of, they're just kind of mad people about everything. It's like the Luke junior, the Adam bock, et cetera, cabal.

The Ongoing Harassment of J6 Defendants With Brandon Straka

"Think the larger point you're trying to make here is that number one, you've got information out there that has become detached from the actual facts of the case as they were weaned out. And yet number two, this is a kind of second conviction and what I mean by that is they're now trying to ruin you in your normal everyday activities as you try to go on with your life. Yeah, it's collateral punishment for what is supposed to be a misdemeanor case and to your point that you made during my introduction. I would argue that I paid dearly for this class B misdemeanor charge. Now, I have no prior criminal record. This is my only conviction on my record. And for this class B misdemeanor charge, I spent two and a half days in jail, three months on house arrest. This is my sentence. Three months of house arrest, three years of federal probation, 60 hours of community service. I was given the maximum fine of $5000. I was ordered to pay $500 restitution to the capitol, although it was acknowledged that I didn't engage in any destruction or vandalism to the capitol. And I was also given court ordered mental health services as part of my sentence. Now, I'm going to be on federal probation until the year 2025. On my class B misdemeanor charge. But I have served every aspect of my sentence I paid my fines. I've paid my restitution. I did my house arrest. I spent my time in jail. The only thing that remains at this point is the remainder of my probation. And I have no reason to believe that I will be committing any more crimes or violate my probation. So for all intents and purposes, I have served a very harsh sentence for this misdemeanor charge,

"I wouldn't say it's all been a dream what I would tell you is that I believe where I am today I am the epitome of the American Dream What I mean by that is that what I've said on many occasions in the past mark when I've been on TV is that when you look at superstars the Lebrons Jacoby's got arrested so Michael Jordan's shack and Derek G and all of these stars They're not the American Dream They're American fantasies Becoming reality Omni American Dream because I didn't have those gifts I wasn't that spectacular I just put my head down and worked my tail off scratched and clawed and worked my way into being in the position that I'm in the day where I live a relatively simple life I've been blessed and fortunate enough to be able to provide for my family to have a beautiful home to have loved ones in an inner circle to be gainfully employed to me that's the American Dream I think that one of the things that we look at in this world today is that some of the reasons why we have so much salacious nonsense so much stupidity and along with various other words that you could come up with a hell of a lot better than me is that you have people chasing the fantasy and willing to exhaust every means and every measure to get it as opposed to being able to be willing rather to put in the work You look at reality television Hey let's make it happen Let me do this show or whatever They paid the some guy from Jersey Shore or whatever the situation He once got paid $500 $5 million I'm sorry And my nephew you know God bless them with would come to me and with a proposal So he could sit up there and make $5 million too And I was like what happened to getting education What happened to put your head down to putting in the work and not trying to look for a quick fix That's why I consider myself the American Dream

'Flash' actor Ezra Miller gets fine, probation after home break-in

"Actor Ezra Miller, who stars in the upcoming film the flash, has been sentenced in Vermont, entering a guilty plea to a misdemeanor that helped him avoid jail time. Justice League star Ezra Miller has been sentenced to a year of probation, a $500 fine and court fees, and continuing mental health treatment. How do you keep? Guilty. Miller pled guilty to unlawful trespassing in a plea deal with prosecutors in connection to a break in the theft of liquor bottles from a neighbor in Vermont's home last May. It's appropriate sentence and it is an interest of justice. In a courtroom in Bennington, Vermont, superior court judge Carrie Anne MacDonald Katie, told Miller two charges including a felony burglary count had been dropped, but could be refiled, if they failed to abide by details of the probation. All the conditions really are about mental health. Alexander Burke is a deputy state's attorney. Ensuring the compliance with the conditions, which we protect the victim, but it also allows the defendant to continue their employment. The Worst of Bitcoin Mining in 2022

"We're starting appropriately with a piece called the worst of Bitcoin mining in 2022, which was written by Zach vol and published on the compass mining blog. Zack writes, even the most casual observer knows that crypto had a bad year. The reason for the industry's tumult could fill an entire article of their own. But the Bitcoin mining sector had a particularly rough year, and this article is dedicated to cataloging all of the bad things that miners suffered. From bankruptcies and resignations to de listings and lawsuits, Bitcoin miners saw it all. So here's a recap of the worst events from Bitcoin mining in 2022. Bankruptcies. Bitcoin mining companies that filed for bankruptcy or were significantly affected by counterparties filing for bankruptcy was a common theme in 2022. Compute north filed for bankruptcy in September 22. According to filings, the company owed as much as $500 million to at least 200 creditors. In February 7 months before bankruptcy, the company raised $385 million. Core scientific, the largest publicly traded Bitcoin mining company, also filed for bankruptcy a few days before Christmas. The company warned a potential bankruptcy in October 2022 as its stock price plummeted. Core plans to continue mining through its bankruptcy proceedings. Celsius, a prominent crypto lending platform also saw its sizable mining unit go bankrupt just months after the team announced its plans to go public. Celsius told bankruptcy court that continuing to mine was key to its restructuring plans. But the mining unit burned $40 million during the first two weeks of bankruptcy. BlockFi was another prominent crypto lending service that maintained a sizable mining unit and has filed for bankruptcy. To date, no reports have indicated that BlockFi is mining assets which are hosted by blockstream have been interrupted or taken offline. Marathon is another high profile publicly traded Bitcoin mining company, but they have not filed for bankruptcy. They're on this list because of their exposure to bankrupt firms, however, to illustrate the mild contagion of mining bankruptcies.

This Is How the House Actually Works

"You how, let me just tell you reality of how the house works. Kevin, for the last decade, has been House majority leader. That's not true. He was whipped before he was in leadership. And by doing that, you raise a lot of money and you travel the country. So the way the process works is the House leadership raises a bunch of money and they dish out that money to support candidates in critical races and a lot of candidates struggle to raise the amount of money that is necessary to win. And so then they rely on leadership to come in and to support them. I don't love that system, but it's a reality that system. And so it's not even a matter of what does McCarthy have over them. He's developed relationships with them for years. And has been supporting them. And by supporting them, he develops friendships and relationships in an expectation that they're going to support Kevin in leadership if he is to be speaker if he's tried to become Speaker of the House. Lauren boebert voted for Kevin of Oklahoma. I don't even know what that means. So maybe Kevin stitt, the governor of Oklahoma? It's not Kevin McCarthy. I think she's trying to troll people. I do that. Who knows? And Lauren's going to join us in a second. So essentially, the way it works, again, I'm not a fan or support of it, but it's the way that the house is structured is that you need to raise every cycle anywhere between 250 to $300 million to just be competitive. Pelosi raised about four to $500 million. It's a lot of money. And so then you dish out that money and just you distribute that money and districts via super PACS, direct contributions, leadership packs, all sorts of different ways. And so there is a fear that if you do not have someone in leadership who's going to be able to raise that money, I don't buy into that fear, whoever is in leadership, they'll be able to go through and raise the necessary money to be able to do this. And to be able to get towards victory. But a lot of these people are not going to vote for anybody but Kevin because Kevin helped them when they were early in their career.

"Our people today so afraid of crime and I'm saying this completely nonjudgmentally. Are they so afraid of crime? Do they read about people? Doing terrible things to people and think, well, that's the question, what did they think? If the man was hell bent on crime, with no police around, he just could have knocked on the door, they opened it, or just broken in. It's a tough one. But there is something lost when you read about this. The criminals offer you $500 to sleep on your floor. I also found a touching that a man in tears approached him to apologize. But of course, had he been taken in by one of the ten. Up to 20 people would have died.

Buffalo Man Turned Away by Ten Households

"So there's a man who named J wythe Wii or whiffy. Wi THEY, a mechanic from the town of Cheektowaga. And he ventured out, I'm reading from CNN. Ventured out to help a trapped friend, but instead got caught in the snow himself. Over the course of the night he would be turned away by several people he begged for help, eventually committing a final act of desperation to save himself and more than 20 others from the brutal storm. He began the night at 6 p.m. when he got a call from a friend who would become stuck in the quickly mounting snow. He said I'm the only person he knew who would come over so I figured I would go get him. With the said. Wifey or witty drove toward the friend? Weaving between abandoned vehicles and littered the road that littered the road, suddenly he saw a young man named Mike walking and sneakers and wrapped in a light jacket. He told Mike to hop in the truck to escape the cold. As he drove past no drift several feet tall, his truck became stuck twice the first time he was able to shovel his way out, but the second time felt hopeless. I'm trying to dig myself out but the snow was coming down just as fast as I'm shoveling, he said, with his clothes soaking wet and only a quarter of a tank of fuel left, wifey started to grow concerned. Leaving Mike in the truckee began knocking on the doors of houses lining the street to see if anyone would give them shelter. Wifey said he went to ten households. I want to I want to dwell on this for a moment. Wife he said he went to ten households, offering each $500 to spend the night on their floor. All of them turned him down.

President Donald Trump Urges Republicans to Reject Omnibus Bill

"Biden and the radical Democrats are trying to ram through this monstrosity in the dark of night when no one is even had a chance to read its over 4000 pages crammed with left wing disasters. Washington betrayals and special interests sellouts all designed to keep the corruption going without lifting a single finger to solve the problems that matter to hardworking families and Americans. The bill provides $1.9 billion for so called border management to process illegal aliens and release them into our country, but it incredibly prohibits those funds from ever being used for border security. To prevent illegal aliens from coming in in the first place. And most importantly, we're giving $500 million to other countries for border security and for the building of walls. Can you believe this? But we're not allowed to use any money for border security or the building of walls. This bill will make the border worse. It will make crime worse. It will make the economy worse. It will make inflation worse. It will make every single one of Joe Biden's total catastrophes even more ruinous and damaging to our country. Our country is going to hell because of what they've done in the last two years. Passing a spending bill now before Republicans take control of Congress on January 3rd, which squander our best chance to hold Biden fully accountable and force him to secure the border in the new year. Mitch McConnell, who is an absolute disaster, by the way, must not be allowed to waste this golden opportunity.

And so if you could erect a billboard, every poker player's got to drive past on the way to the casino. What does shoes billboard say? Mine would probably say something like play like an M boss, you know, play, just play like Garrett. Make that crazy hero call if your gut is telling you to call and always go for the bluff. Yeah, just play. Just go for it. Basically. I like this good, crazy way. I think that's like the best poker style that you can have like the loose passive type as if players just you can have a much higher win rate by playing this good maniac style. What would somebody who's listening right now be surprised to learn that you're horrible at? Probably logistics. "I mean, there are coaches in the village, but yeah, I think there's just a need for there's definitely a demand for private coaching. So I don't mind filling in that demand and stepping in and helping others. Yeah, and before you started private coaching and earnest, we've, you know, I've coached you on coaching, right? You've watched coaching replays of past sessions. You've given out a ton of free coaching sessions that people just getting reps in. Which I think is quite important. It shows like dedication on your end for improving communication skills, being able to transfer information, being able to help identify leaks and work with people on a human level, which I think is quite important as it relates to just coaching and communicating with human beings. What would you say is your favorite part of private coaching in your experience thus far? My favorite part is that poker might seem very complicated to like a beginner or a lower level player. But in reality, it's actually quite simple. And yeah, I mean, this is what's his name Patrick Howard quote, but just, you know, providing simplicity on the other side of complexity and just like breaking down the game and just giving people very easy actionable is really satisfying. Just getting rid of that confusion and the overthinking and simplifying people's games is really satisfying. What are your current goals as it relates to your poker journey? You know, I think when we had that consult, I already talked about them and you've already achieved most of them. So what are you looking forward to in the year 2022? It's a good question. I don't really know what my goals are. I mean, obviously I want to become the best poker player I can be and eventually move up to one K I mean, yeah, that should be a no problem. Probably in the next few months or so. But I will just continue badgering you every day until you do inevitably move up. It's fun beating 500 and ten to 13 big blinds or whatever. But it is true that when rate at one K is probably much higher. Or like the dollar amount win rate is.

I think it kind of like all the stars aligned, right? I went pro and then you were looking for people to help with the wolf's program or just building strategies using MDA. You were, I'm not going to say struggling, but kind of like breaking even at 500, right? When we fired up private coaching. Yeah, it's pretty interesting. When I was playing 200 and I was playing.

"You began to think about poker in that way or why poker just like you naturally trended to tended to think about things that way? I mean it's pretty simple it's an a side flop so like it's good for my range so I just like bet the flop with everything and then yeah just whenever the second card or third card pairs, it's usually better for my opponents range. Because I'm not supposed to be betting those types of hands like the second pair of third pair hands that you just did. And your opponent bet the third pair on the river too, but that's another story for another day. I knew that the 7 was good for his rage, so he was trying to rub it, I think. Yeah. No, I mean, it's like a very good thought. And something that I think that folks early in their poker journey probably don't really think about kind of right off the bat, so that was why I was interesting to me that you thought about things in that way sort of early on. Yeah, I want to finish completing this entire weekend because it was a pretty big learning experience for me. So I had like two pretty big wedding days, so I went on Friday night and Saturday night. And I think I won like 800 bucks each night. So pretty big winning days. And Saturday night, I went out and celebrated stayed out all night and Sunday morning. I woke up pretty hungover. Pretty tired, you know, was probably up until like three or 4 a.m. just like, you know, partying and doing dumb shit. And so Sunday morning I went back to go play poker in my hungover state and I proceeded to lose almost everything that I had won that entire weekend. So I think I was not like 1600 and I think I lost like $1520 because I remember going home and being up like 80 bucks for the weekend. And I remember going home and telling my roommates my.

Hey sarah We're up against. I wanna get to one email tonight. I and i promise you everybody else. Who email them. We'll get to your your questions coming up next week but the one i do want to ask you is is actually a little bit. Time-sensitive here craig. And boston writes dear bulky and feral now that wayne goldman has crowded the backfield and san francisco even more is most are still the draft target or is this a situation to fade completely. Thanks guys. that is craig in boston and just to let know is as far as most of it goes. Who is the number one running back being drafted in san francisco. He is going out running back. Twenty eight at six twelve over the last five days. Right behind chase edmonds. He's a little bit ahead of leonard fournette and aj dylan fair. What do you make of this win. Gaughman signing is is is he just simply Ah backup there. Is he gonna steal third down work in your opinion You know most of it was never really to me a big third down back anyway. With with kyle shanahan. He always seems to mix everybody else on his roster and jeff wilson and having coleman previously I just how do you view this thing should. Is this something that we should significantly be knocking most or downer boards or not. Oh absolutely not. Wangling is a very good football player. He's backup running back. It gives special teams play and will contribute to this Forty matter football clubs. He's a great football and non i. It's it's it's no different it. It's no doesn't move the needle in any direction for fantasy football now. Moster is a strange player to look at. You got a guy here this pushing thirty years old. But it's very very limited In mileage he is not yet. I think probably bulky. He's less than five hundred carries for his career. But you can follow the money you know. My friend in boston create. You can follow the money when dollars for running backs are very very difficult to come within the league right now Most assigned eight point seven million. Three years go back to the play offs. Boggy against your green bay packers twenty. Remind me two hundred and twenty yards four touchdowns. It's like he's still running. Four thousand one game balki..

You weren't going to draft a quarterback in the nfl in the first round you would never seen him again but look at what's happening now. Is sam darnold other quarterbacks search first round guys can be in and out within two or three years. I you've got to use these opportunities to get to know the players and the best way that you can't and I when you picture mack jones or any of these other young guys go into The forty niners. You realizing that any of them that they pick. They're still going to have the most challenged quarterback in that division. But the team is very very good so you need a player not to make mistakes. You need a player that can go through the the I've been watching some baseball here. Balk at this stolman Attention span there. The roads twenty you watch and follow. I'm watching the cardinals and the reds and attack dotting the It's a situation where This player is probably the most likely to succeed in the in the forty niners too quickly as the quickest and about back you know the nfl is is to two maybe three degrees of separation. Everybody knows everybody so you should really look a lot into that situation. And then take much from that. I think it's matt jones. It could be another quarterback whichever one it is You're gonna go over the tight leash In that offense in san francisco we want to Not 'cause appoint the dizzle any longer. "Feast or famine type running back which makes it plausible that he would go in the first two dozen backs You know somewhere around the twenties in best ball format In redraft format and even in the best ball format. You're going to to be more frustrated than your rewarded If you look at the season last year how many times do you rush for one hundred yards zero. How many times do you carry the ball. Twenty times zero. He he checked out a four games week. Eight through eleven. When you really need a very good ball player on your fantasy team. I caught three. Td passes in the first two weeks of the season which gave you some reason to hope. And then he did very little in the receiving game the rest of the way Which added to the mountain of sadness of the twenty twenty year from chris carson n. So certainly seems to me that this is the heaviest heavy smokescreens If the niners truly are not interested in trae lance But maybe they are still thinking about him right now as well. Where do you fall in on the niners number three overall pick i mean to me. It suggests that it's going to be lance joe mack jones or just field. Who do you think right now. The niners taking. Which i'm excited about being a packer fan. I you know. Sure he touches the ball you can get to the end zone Every time we talked you said so. He's an exciting toy for rogers to have on offense. Five point yards a carry career average aaron jones to that's been pretty impressive. We'll see if he can keep that up going forward josh. You've been extremely gracious with your time. Tonight certainly appreciated Before we let you go feral is gonna ask you one final question sure. It has important question that feral demands. Sad 'cause i wanna know One or two players that you want to acquire in downstate leagues right now preferably through the draft. Because that's how i'll the aquarium and then Is there someone that you're just looking to get away from somebody. That obviously would be quite a pick in redraft but somebody for dynasty that you just don't really care for yeah let's see Players that i'm trying to target right now and i've already got A few shares of him. Michael pitman i think he is going to be really nice. with having went there Having some other weapons good running hopefully having the lead you know. I just think pitman's gonna be a nice fixture At wide receiver for india plus. He's super young. Twenty three and sticking with wide receivers. I i love key higgins I think people are high on them. But i don't think they realized what is ceiling's going to be and i would think he is really gonna show it next year. A lot of love for ceedee lamb and justin jefferson and rightly. This has been great. And how you've talked about moving from players you wheel and deal during free agency during trading hats. How how does the shakeout at first. How does it you know shit. I ignore this and just use my player. Knowledge to symbol my best team or or should i Should i fall. Victim to some of these trade offers from these outstanding fantasy vets of of of dynasty. Lower your well. I would think they you know. And all the trade offers they have your best interests at heart. So i'm sure they're all in your favor so i wouldn't worry about that at all but one of the things i learned to When i got him. Is i league for dynasties you start to get used to the guys you get to get to know chat especially during the draft and you find out a little bit more. I mean the the guys that i'm with are just great but you learn a lot about them The players that they're like were there from The things that they tend to to do. And what they like and trays and what they don't so it takes a little bit. And i would say a year or so and then you have a pretty good feel but i'd trade all the time. There's not an off season for my teams i literally. There's there's no way anyone puts more trade offers out than i do in my leagues. I'm constantly looking for something Based on what other teams need What i can get in usually. I'm thinking about two or three moves down if i get this player then. I'm pretty sure this team's gonna want them and i can move 'em for player acts so it it..

"She'll be sitting out the number two he could be poaching those goal line russia's and he's gonna be getting fair share of passing attempts to so i think it does kinda knocked down the andrea swift A little bit. But i mean swift is only twenty two as well so he's got a lot of years in front of them and we'll see how williams holds up too but it's a great football signing Not the greatest for value. Is i think for swift. But williams is still going to be williams the same same type of fantasy output. I would think Let's talk about chip over to the wide receiver position. Corey davis was a guy who broke up very late in his career. Josh guy that Many dynasty players sorta giving up for nothing Putting a lot of leagues and this is the guy was picking the top five of the nfl draft. He broke out last year as ryan tannehill in tennessee. Now he will be going to the new york jets presumably as their number one. Receiver had denzel. Men's we'll see if if jet signs Another receiver that that could be their number one there and smith schuster. That's going to happen but What we know right now is davis. Is there what does that do for his dynasty stock. In your opinion as jet stand right now. Well i think it's a good fit right now. even with sam darnold and expecting them probably to pivots and once draft day comes around then darnold away so it's going to depend they bring in. And of course you mentioned eric. If juju comes over there That's obviously gonna take away and things like that. But i only thing corey davis and denzel is a really fine one to Punch they gotta figure out what they want to do with if they're gonna go with her in that tight end But crowder's there he's got a non-guaranteed ten million dollar contracts so he's a pretty easy cut to to clear some space I think they just picked up a A wide receiver. Three typing last like thirty minutes right before i started listening to you guys. I saw something but it was minimal but it made me think that's crowder. Might be on his way out so davis I think it's a pretty good one two punch right there because davis didn't have that much confidence seem like he got it back a little bit. He's gonna get some tougher corners on 'em 'cause he does knows. Aj brown to take some of that attention away from them. But you know. I would definitely hold onto them or if you can buy them. Cheap I think he's a decent by cheap option. Because if you get the right quarterback in there. I think he can be putting up seventy seventy five catches thousand yards. You know six to eight touchdowns maybe so a good wide receiver. Three four type Type but i cringed a little bit baulky when i saw. Corey davis When i saw corey davis go to the jets but i i've warmed up a little bit of warmed up a little bit too if you I don't. I don't know it's weird because i've i've put my corey davis story on the show. I owned him in one dynasty league and got him as a quasi throw into a trade and when it came down to kentucky kfc dynasty lead And when it came down to it I he just like..

I got those kamara While he was at at as high points and took a little chance and got barkley plus you know extra so those are the types of things. I looked for so no. I mean out of all the running backs. He's as good of a bat. I think is is as the other so good. Okay well now ever get up work around the draft i can. I can keep that as part of my consideration. We the question from the chat room the smartest neurobiologist. I know over at cornell. Hudson reeve wants to know about the late. Signing the raiders. Made today kenyan drake from the cardinals is now going to be a las vegas raiders. So josh question for you. I guess for we'll we can talk about it from twenty twenty one aspect As well as what. It's going to be like going forward there. What does this do josh. Jacobs how do you see the backfield shaking out and as a second part to that question. chase edmonds is going to be the guy near zona or are they gonna add somebody in the draft. Yeah with josh jacobs. I actually have them on all through my teams. That was one of the things i did in. The offseason did not see them adding Devante booker but i didn't see them getting rid of their whole offensive line. Pretty much too. So there's been a lot of shake this free agency. And i keep checking it like every fifteen twenty minutes because something else comes out But yeah there's some question marks. I think about jacob's He had a limited Catching role We know he can catch but now with booker in their booker is a little bit older. He's twenty eight out there. But they're not booker during yeah So you know. I i think it does take some of the upside also jacobs. He was probably a back end. Rb one and now. I think that puts them. You know. Probably middle of rb to land so we'll have to see how that takes out In that backfield. I just before we get to the next part. I just. i'm just looking at this right now. this and again i'm doing f. Pc best ball redraft Adp here on this. This is not start up adp or anything like that since it since the signing just happened. It's not going to be very reliable. But josh jacobs was going two three. Turn as running. Back fifteen kenyan. Drake obviously was going later than that When you look at his eighty p As far as where it was at again before he signed with With the raiders. This afternoon we'll see how the squashes out over the next few days but he was running back twenty nine at seven eleven and chase edmonds As long as we're talking about the cardinals chase edmonds was actually going much later than that. Is i try to find him here. running back thirty two at the eighth ten. He was not going that much later. Then kenyan drake but he certainly has the command of the backfield. They're going forward. "You know because know you think about the the the you know. It's one of these things like okay. I'll use the tampa bay buccaneers as an example and granted. Now this is going to be perfect. But everybody's talking about the buccaneers. All they won the super bowl last searle. They're bringing everybody back this year. They're they're gonna make a run ended again. Well yes sometimes. I can work with sometimes i. It's not about bringing the players that helped you twenty twenty back for twenty twenty one. It's about finding the players on other teams on other squads. That are going to help you. And twenty twenty one. It's not necessarily just because somebody had great twenty twenty doesn't necessarily mean that they have a really good chance of having a great twenty twenty one and i think that sometimes the danger we have dynasty owners especially if we're coming off a first place You know finish a runner up finish. We just assume we're this close or or you know we could. We could run it back with the squad. That's not always the case. It's all about for seeing the future. And josh certainly. You've done a good job with that by winning these five dynasties titles here in the last three years Let's talk a little bit about some player analysis here Marvin jones signed with the jacksonville. Jaguars and free agency so now he heads to this team. That will presumptively. Have trevor lawrence at quarterback there. Obviously we'll discuss should was picked their high last year Usually chart. I know you own him. And some of your dynasty leagues. What does this do for charge fantasy value knowing that marvin jones a field flipper and a guy who caught a lot of downs in cincinnati and detroit. What does this do for you. Having charge on your rosters. Well yeah it got charged on a two out of my three teams. And he's he's been a little bit slow to to develop. I was kinda hoping for a little bit quicker progression with him. But i think the marvin jones signing helps them A nice veteran receiver in there. you've got like you said this in there and hopefully i mean right now. Dj's a hold for me 'cause. I'm really hoping they're going to take lawrence. And then you know lawrence goes in there. I think that could be a a really nice Connection right there. So it's going to determine if jacksonville somehow screws up the draft and does get lawrence and we're stuck with minhsiu or if they pick up someone else and free agency. That's not really worth much. Then i might look on moving moving on with them but freight now it's a hold. How much How much the redraft you play. Well that's what i used to just all do Even back three decades ago. When i used to go with got invited into my brothers league and we used to do that and so i did thirty years that or you know good twenty five years of that and it was always last with that frustration at the end of the year or something quirky. What happened at the end and not get knocked out. Because i built his teams so nicely by the end of the year. And then add start all over again so i i'm not exactly sure. How jumped in a dynasty. But once they went in there and like this is exactly what i'm looking for so And now it's just perfect so yeah Redraft is great..

Sharks wrote a world and rob for tonight's fantasy flash off in our nation's capital barrel. Adam schefter tweeted this out that which washington has signed. Curtis samuel used to be with carolina to a three year thirty four and a half million dollar contract. It's nearly twenty. Five million dollars guaranteed. This is something that was rumored For a while and it seems like washington continues to poach a ton of players off carolina. Now curtis samuel Just primarily been a slot. Receiver obviously gets a lot a yards after the catch. But you got to believe that this is gonna take some coverage pressure austerity mclaren. Who didn't have a whole lot of health last year either from the quarterback position or from the receiver opposite from him. These guys were actually teammates at the ohio state university. Where samuel and maclaurin and now they're going to get to compete against together on the washington football team scott turner's the new offensive coordinator there. He's he's shown pretty good The last few years. And you gotta believe with Fits magic as a quarterback. They're willing to take chances down the field willing to pump the ball into tight spots. This is good news for maclaurin. This is good news for samuel. So you look at how this is going to affect the samuel stein and let's stay away from fitzpatrick for the moment feral but do you like maclaurin. more now. that samuel's on the team. Each year fifteen to twenty additional catches over the previous year. This past year over seventy rushed for two hundred yards in the any good sample size. Forty carries Yeah i really like what's going to happen here. I think that You can elevate all of the redskin players based on what's happening there. You've got riverboat run. You've got this magic This will make a different Running back out of Jd mckissic He won't get eighty balls again in this scenario highly unlikely but even mckissic We'll have a more yards and better opportunities. Do things with the ball. this is. this is a fascinating edition and yet go with what you know. Curtis samuel rewarding very well in this contract. You he's going to a place where he's desired loved. And we'll see that on the field. I just discern. I'm gonna draft where he went in the eleventh round. And that's a silo for the splitter. Real yeah no that's real good value To for samuel there no question Keeping it on the receiver tip here We have a one guy. Going from. Essentially the mid west out west and that is aj green but longtime cincinnati bengals now in arizona cardinal. Say one year eight million dollar deal. Aj green turns thirty three years old..

Adam schefter samuel maclaurin Curtis samuel curtis samuel one year samuel stein arizona eleventh round scott turner last year fifteen washington two hundred yards fitzpatrick tonight Five million dollars three year third round thirty three years old

This is the thing. This is the lesson. Everybody needs to learn when a thing of yours breaks You are not the first person this has happened to know for sure into you. So you go to YouTube and you type in your little problem and somebody's They're fixing it for you, like I used to have a problem with my minivan door. There was something with the mechanics of it where it would like shut and then open back up again. You know what I did? What? You know what I did? What did you do it? I don't want it. I'll tell you what I did. Okay. I searched my exact model and make of car and door issue And sure Enough, they showed me how to fix it. Yeah, And can I just make up wider recommendation of the Internet? In general in general, It's a It's a wealth of in from because a ZMA Jas you think you are, you know a singular Entity on Planet Earth. I guarantee you every thought you've had in your head has already been had By the Internet. And there is an answer for every question you've ever had. And it's just delightful when you're like. Oh, gosh, here, I sat thinking that this Was going to take a lot more time and effort on my part to figure out and you realize, like just today I woke up to our refrigerator making a lizard running. I'm still catching it. No, thank you. So there were like letters on the touch pad that we're showing up like in your code, and I was like, I have no idea what that is. Guess what Go to the Internet people, but we'll be there is your answer so true, Holly, Who else do we have on the line? Genevieve's with us. Hello? Genevieve. Genevieve. What have you learned how to do on YouTube? I replaced a toilet. See, I'm telling you that episode of the Golden Girls. It wasn't successful. It was amazing. I save so much money. I YouTube I looked it up, maybe five or six different videos on YouTube. And then I went with my husband and bought a toilet. That was the water saving tall, energy efficient, clean Chris toilet. What the wax wings wax rings that go with it. And did it And it's been working fine for six months. It looks great. It was easy. So like nothing's happening, like you flush the toilet in the kitchen sink owes me anything. No, it was so easy. Oh, my God, I save hundreds of dollars for you. I love this. Thank you, Genevieve for your call. I also love like you do have to watch. You were right, Bradley, You gotta watch more than one video. But there is this, like, very empowering moment that happens when you've watched enough of them. And you figured out like the steps and you got all the little tricks that they tell you that you go. All right. I think I'm ready. Think I'm ready to fly solo into her point? You do save money. What can I tell you? That's how I learned to bake sour dough bread. I'm not surprised, seriously mean YouTube. I read a lot and they're a lot of people online whose craft I followed, But to me, I am a visual learner. I need to see people like reading is it takes me longer to digest. The knowledge than if I watched somebody right? Do the thing right? And it's good. You know that about yourself in YouTube is like perfect for people who are visual learners. Holly, Who else do we have on the line? Shelby's on the line. Shelby Hello. What have you learned how to do on YouTube? Hi. I got no good afternoon. Good afternoon. How are you guys? I love listening to you Make my afternoon every single day. Thank you. YouTube video on how to compliment your favorite radio show hosts, you know, Honestly, I do not have the patience for any of it. I get so frustrated. I'm not technical or mechanical or anything, however. My husband has looked absolutely everything anyone could ever need to know how to Diogo. Um and he has become like a self sufficient contractor. I loved it so much money, electrical plumbing. All of it, And I love it. That's so great. Shall be thank you so much. And tell your husband thank you for his love of YouTube. Thanks for listening. I'm serious. So we got this email from Taylor, who said I learned all about bi fold closet doors. Our big heavy mirror by full door's been broken almost four years fixed that, and that's like there's nothing like the satisfaction of having something in your home. That's just not working and Figuring out what the problem is from YouTube and then fixing it. It's so much easier than reading like a dumb manual. Something. A dumb manual? Yeah, Yeah. You know what I mean? Like I used to. That's like, Yeah, I know, but I used to get like when I was When I first my husband. I first bought our first house. Everybody gave us these, like, fix it yourself manuals. And so we have never gonna you That's true, But those I could not. I didn't have the patience. I was like similar to Shelby. But I just Didn't have the patience to read all of that stuff, but watching it on YouTube. I'm like I could do anything. We'll also can I just say that another reason I love YouTube. So much is that I don't have to call people and say, Can you explain to me how this works because I what I used to do. Have to call my dad, which is not a NOP shin any longer, But then I'd have to, like, sit on the phone and like have to go through that experience. He's listening now, so I apologize, but but it wasn't always the most efficient and then like he's not there, So you're not quite sure that you're doing it all the way Right? And now it's like it's perfect for the introverted all of us like I don't have to, like interact with humans. I can just watch other people to also, if you're like me, like you don't know all the words for certain things. Right. So ball joint. Yeah, when you call up and you're like, I don't know The thingamabob is like cracked or whatever. And they're like, OK. Is it like the game? Basket or, like the rotator girder belt, and you're like, I don't know. It's a flan thingamabob. Er, right, But when you watch it on YouTube, they tell you what it is. They tell you. What's right. You're like. Oh, okay. I mean, thank you, everybody for listening to this advertisement for you, too. When we come back on the Colleen and Bradley show our friend Paul Maguire Grimes, from.
