Candace Owens' Court Battle Is Officially Over

"I got some people calling in let me see what they talking about. But I want to give Candace Owens to shout out. For winning that court case against fraudulent fake black Republican candidate Kimberly klacik. Kimberly klacik sued Candace Owens for $20 million because Candace Owens exposed to her regarding her FEC reports. And I said, exposed her meaning she just asked the questions, why are you spending this distance and as a politician because according to your FEC reports, this seems suspicious. Instead of coming back and saying, hey, let me explain these things. Let's have a conversation. Let me explain them or whatever. You don't have to have a conversation. She made up all these lies said Candace Owens made up stuff about her and she sued her for $20 million. But ladies and gentlemen, as of recently, I think it was yesterday came out that Kimberly klacik lost the lawsuit. It was a frivolous lawsuit. And she knew she was wrong. And she ended up sitting with Candace and having to pay her a $115,000. But, you know, her cowardice, corny, wack, drug using self isn't going to come out and apologize, she's not going to be an honest woman because she was on social media talking big trash. I remember swatching it. Talking about, oh, I beat Ken, it's ha ha. Let's see you in court. All this other stuff and now she lost and she quiet.

"Um, remember being at a luncheon with former has a Cadillac brand at the end of 2019. Just before things What all sideways, Uh, Steve Carlisle and he said, you know, this is this is the end of the ice age for Cadillac. And so the lyric is their first TV. It's built on GMOs New Alte, um, platform, so it's going to use the same type of same batteries that are going to be in the Hummer Evey, uh, which is actually, uh, supposed to start production. 1st 1st vehicles off the line next month in October. Um And I guess if you're going to drive a Hummer, at least you could drive it without guilt. If you drive the Hummer evey, right, exactly. Well, you know, I mean, when the thing weighs £9000 I don't know how guilt free it's really going to be. Uh, you know, Fortunately, you know, it's the Hummer is really going to be a niche vehicle because you know it's going to be $115,000. You know, it's not going to sell in huge numbers. I would be surprised if even when they launched the lower cost versions get down as low as I think about $85,000 if they saw more than 10,000 year, But the lyric is really a more mainstream vehicle for Cadillac. It's right in the heart of where the luxury market is today in in mid sized upper mid size crossovers, it's a It's a two row five seat crossover somewhere in size to the AR actually, slightly bigger than the Cadillac XT five that they have today. Um and I got to spend three hours on this past Wednesday morning at the GM Tech Center. With members of the team that have been developing the lyric. Um And so this vehicle is scheduled for production in February. Uh, it's going to have a 300 mile at least a 300 mile range, they say. And, uh, it, uh, the launch edition that comes out in the spring, the first the first version of it. Um, is going to be rear wheel drive 340 horsepower Electric motor, But I learned some really interesting details about this vehicle. As we went through that you spent some time in the design studio and I spent some time with the engineering team. And, uh, Uh, one of the things with with an electric car. Uh, because you want to. You want to be able to maximize the amount of regenerative braking you can do You want to recover as much energy as you can whenever the vehicle is slowing down. Uh And so, um, you know, one of things you don't want on TV. It's especially important on TV. It's important on any vehicle, but especially TV is you want to minimize aerodynamic drag? Uh and Because the more arrow drag you have, you know, then when you lift off the accelerator, the air is slowing you down instead of, um being able to use your regenerative braking to recover that energy and put it back in the battery, so it's not just to make the battery more efficient. But it's also to give you better region That makes sense. Yeah, Yeah. Yeah. So, um, one of the neat details Several years ago, GM built a new wind tunnel Gems had a full size wind tunnel since the 19 eighties. But they rebuilt their wind tunnel and they now have what's known as a Rolling road Wind tunnel. And this is an idea that actually started in Formula One back in the eighties. Um, when they came to the realization that, um the the way air flows over a vehicle can actually change quite a bit. If the wheels are turning versus if the wheels are static, So if you just take a car and stick it in a wind tunnel, and it's nothing is moving except the error around it. The results you're going to get are going to be quite different than if the wheels are rolling the way they would be when you're moving down the road. Oh, Uh, you know, so Formula One teams have had, like one quarter one third scale rolling road wind tunnels for for many years. Is it a treadmill? But this essentially yes, It's like a giant treadmill that the car sits on. So they roll it in there, put on the treadmill, and it moves to have a moving ground plane and move and the wheels are rotating and that changes the way the error interacts around the wheels. And one of the neat details that they learned when they were developing. The lyric is if you look at your tires on your car, you will find that like around the edge near the edge, where it goes from the side wall to the tread. There's usually a ridge that's molded in there. And there's various other aspects of the sidewall that when the tires rotating, actually creates a surprising amount of drag And so what GM did was they worked with their, um, with their tyre suppliers to rework how the tires are molded to eliminate or minimize those ridges along the side wall. And that was able to get them. Um what? Roughly, Um, they say that they refer to his 10 counts of aerodynamic drag. So the drag coefficient of a vehicle is, uh, on a typical modern vehicle might be anywhere between 100.25 point 35. Um And you know, 10 counts would be 10 1 Thousands of that. So it might be like going from 10.272 Point, 26, which is a significant difference for you know something that, um once you figure out how to do, it doesn't actually cost you more. Uh, so and that makes it on TV. That makes a real difference. Another detail. What they did is on the rear hatch on the rear glass. Um, you know, most crossovers, SUVs and so on. You'll find there's a windshield wiper back there to keep it clean. Well, one of you know that adds weight, and it also adds drag when the air is flowing over that, So what they have on the lyric is the spoiler at the top of the tailgate. That has a flow through spoiler, so they've designed it in a way. So when the vehicles moving the airflow through there is basically sweeping everything off that rear glass. And so they claim they won't need a windshield wiper. So that reduces the drag man cost interesting..

"The time that they could walk around. Put the microchip that's so crazy dude s so you can't you can't shut assembly down when you still have. This money production will voters the pain you've got to get everything built that needs because I was pretty down in the year ago, right way of four years ago four years ago, so every four years you'll see a rolling change. So what they do is They've got to get that product built. And assembled. Get all that stuff moved out of the way and started ready for 2022 days. I don't even know how they can play in something four years away. Well, you know, it's all r and D. And then once you build something Once you design something, then you gotta go out and get all the vendors. And you got you don't realize, you know, I was talking to a buddy of mine about the Honda Accord. If you bought every piece of that car and put together 100 court costs 100 $15,000. If you bought every piece by yourself and did it in your girl, got a mechanic and put that thing together. You're looking at $115,000. This was years ago. I have no idea what it is now. But that's the reason why you haven't assembly line and binding multiple, You know, Million's right. And so you know, they've got to get all that product cleared out and used up and done and I mean they have it down to the finite plus All the parts for these vehicles that have to go out. The body shops and then the dealerships and everything. So it's not just assembly. But all these suppliers with parts you have toe maintain and continue to build and supply for when there's car wrecks and accident, motor replacements. S O. There's not just the assembly for the cars, but then you also have to forecast for body shopping service. I mean, it's just It's a incredible design machine. The whole lot of products like a lot of stress involved in that. Well, you know so much of this is you know, automated AI and Over the history. That kind of figured out they've gotta dance. Just like owning a restaurant. You know how to forecast how many steaks to bind baked potatoes, and, um, I could actually use one of those right now. Yeah, I couldn't agree. I don't want to hear that. We were just at Lucas, but I wasn't hungry. Right then. Best. Babs. Lulu's I don't know and offered you a biscuit in a sausage. You wouldn't take it. I know you're hungry. "Prospectus, if available on always get both professional financial planning. Investment and tax advice. Opinions on today's show or my opinions Only as I said, should never be considered by cellar hold recommendations just for information. Purposes, Okay? Markets touched index highs on Thursday, but then they backed off. On Friday Dow Jones industrial average for the week now Closed down 168 points. The Standard and Poor's index toe closed up one point for the week, and NASDAQ closed down. 54 10 Year Treasury yield closed At 1.62. Percent. We're talking about preferred stocks. What is a preferred stock? Well for you, though, it may not Now I want to go through the basics of preferred stock is an issuance from a corporation. Name preferred. Hence the name means that this stock has dividend payment preference over the common stock. What does that mean? That means that you receive 100% of your preferred dividend before you receive a penny in common stock dividends, so the company has regular common stock and preferred stock. All the preferred shareholders have to be paid their dividends first, before they can even consider selling ascending. Ah, penny for dividends on the calmest on now, that makes it easy to evaluate. In a way the safety of a preferred stock because if their dividend on the company's common stock is without question, then you know that preferred stock. It's fine. Simple is that now Preferred Stocks act more like bonds than individual equity stocks. They do not have voting rights but generally pay much higher yields much higher interest rates. Here's the new issue stocks we've done recently recently. We did one From aluminum, financial preferred stock yielding 7.8757 and 78%. We've also done in last few months. Franchise group. It's 7.5. One track at 9.5. That was a nice one. Babcock and Wilcox 8 9/8 Zone my preferred at eight and 58 so as you can see, we could substantially higher rates. Then the current bond market can offer. You were in a lot of dividend common stock tonight for you. And as they said in the opening of the program, the 10 year Treasury yielding 1.6 look of the yield shouldn't get so This is important for a number of different type of investors. Investor number one Someone who needs a little extra income coming out of their investment portfolio to help fill out their monthly or quarterly retirement budget. Biggest searching for yield. The bank is paying you less than one This may be a way maybe a way to take part of your money. And moving into Southern is giving a little bit of a higher yield. Remember? Preferred stocks or not without risk, But they do trade on the major exchanges so you could buy and sell them with a phone call on a minute's notice. Your money's not locked up anyway, and most preferred stocks pay dividends Quarterly like regular comments section Every three months. You'll get a dividend check now. As a new issue. It's a little bit of a process. It's worth it because you get to stocks with no additional charge of commission. You get them on a net basis, usually not always but usually preferred stocks were issued on a new issue basis. $25 a share $25 a share, and that's all you paid at No additional charge Murphy over that. So you get $25 share net plus a yield. Now I'm notified of preferred stock and complication is we don't have a lot of time to ask. To be fair. They fill these orders on a first come first serve basis, so we've gotta act pretty quickly, So I'll get an indication of a preferred stock and I'll do some research and get my firm to help me. And if it's something we want to participate in, I have to put in was called in. Indication of interest. Very fancy way of saying we put your name in mind for preferred stock. Usually how much money you want to invest 115,000. Whatever the number is, we put that in and the order to then filled on a first come First share of basis. I'll also get a range of yield. So they'll say, X Y Z company is issuing a new preferred stock. You know the price of $25 a share. Was gonna pay us between 7.5 and seven and three quarter percent how he's lowball you to make the clients happy because they expect around 7.5%. If we get a higher yield will be happy and we'll take it. But consider 7.5% now and account must be open so you can make that investment And we must have the money in pretty quickly because there's two days sentiment on stocks. That's the complication. Gotta act pretty quickly, and it's very frustrating for me as your adviser because I'd like people to take your time. You said my church think about their situation. I don't like to rush people making investments. But with these sometimes you're in a little bit of a rush to make sure you get to stock. The benefit of that is you get it on the neck basis with no additional charge of commissions. S so if that's not worth it don't do to do with you. But many people really like this, and I just said we've been working when the last few months with yields of high is 9.5%. And I think the last one was about 7.5 so Going forward.
