Grandson of Iditarod co-founder wins Alaska sled dog race
"6 dogs will Ryan reddington and his sled across the iditarod finish line in no molasses. This was the 40 year old 16th try. We failed, of course, a few times you know, but we kept our head up high and in stuck with the dream. Reddington, who was in new pia, becomes the 6th Alaska native musher to win the world's most famous dog sled race. It means everything to burnout. And yeah, it's been a goal of my sense of very small child. The nearly 1000 mile race started March 5th in willow for nearly 33 mushers, who traveled over two mountain ranges, the frozen Yukon river, and on the Bering sea ice. I'm Julie Walker.

Caller: 'Autistic' Is Not a Way to Describe Donald Trump
"Actually just pick up my daughter who has autism, so I was running a little bit hot with respect to the use of that language. And I want to send too much time on it, but I'm reflected as well. I thought it was a kind of an outlier with respect to an adjective. That's not just a daughter. I don't think she's anything like Donald Trump. No, that's what I thought. I thought exactly what you thought. And that is, I think, even more offensive. In my estimation, I just don't get it. Right. And one other point I wanted to ask you about is you mentioned that and I voted for Donald Trump twice, I kind of moved away from his camp, but when you say he's not a rhino, do you think the Republicans are in any way, shape, or form, kind of responsible for this bloated budget problem that we currently have. I'm just curious because it seems like the elephant in the room that no one wants to talk about. A 1000% Andrew, and this goes back multiple administrations. I would go back to George W. Bush, and they would they spent money like they were drunk Democrats. And nobody wants to address us. And I'll tell you something else at Andrew, we talk about the investigations into Biden and Hillary and Obama. They've been investigating for 5 years the Republicans have 5 years, and we've got nothing out of that. Absolutely nothing.

Robyn Pfaffman: Rioters Detained at Atlanta Police Training Site
"Antifa down there, going to war with the police and nobody's talking about it on the national stage. Yeah, it's really it's a scary situation, basically I'll sum it up in about 30 seconds for you. There is a parcel of land. Acres and acres right on the edge of Atlanta between Fulton and da cab county. And they are putting up a 90 million that's 9 zero million police and fire training academy. Wouldn't you think that after everything we've been through with George Floyd, BLM, all sorts of cases that have gone on that you would want your police firefighters EMS first responders trained at a new facility, one would think, right? Except that you have this very organized funded by whoever flying people in from out of state. You had people here from Utah, Colorado, Massachusetts, Maine, and then you had two foreign dudes, one from France and one from Canada. How did they get here? Last I looked, those tickets are over a $1000 one way or round trip to Atlanta, Georgia. It's not cheap to fly anymore. And here they are. All these outside agitators with the exception of one guy from the southern poverty law center that left wing institution. He was arrested and now luckily they're facing a domestic terrorism charges, so at least they're not going to be getting out in a revolving door. These people actually have to hire attorneys for setting it on fire. They set some equipment on fire. They set a police car on fire. They were throwing bricks sticks, rocks, shooting off firecrackers at the police. They deserve what they get.

Airlines Are an Exception to a Puritanical Free Market Principle...
"Airlines are an exception to a puritanical free market principle that deregulation always will lead to something better. Now, it's interesting because Ted Kennedy in the 70s or 80s was actually one of the big advocates for airline deregulation and we were told that that would actually lower costs and improve the quality of flying and that's not true. What do you mean, it didn't actually end up happening. You asked anybody over the age of 50 in America. Anybody over the age of 50 in America asked them was flying better in the 1980s or is it better today? And they will all say, oh, it was way better in the 1980s. Way better. Pan Am, they give you full meals. Everybody dressed wonderfully. Everybody respected it, you know, respected flying. Now airline regulation deregulation did make things way cheaper, but is that really still technically true? Have you seen what a round trip ticket from Los Angeles, the Chicago is it's a $1000 minimum on certain weekends.

Lilly plans to slash some insulin prices, expand cost cap
"Eli Lilly says it plans to cut prices for some insolence, starting in January, the federal government started capping the cost of insulin through Medicare at $35 a month. President Biden mentioned it during the State of the Union address. Let's finish the job this time. Let's cap the cost of insulin for everybody at $35. Lily says it will cut the list price for its most commonly prescribed insulin humalog and for another insulin humulin by 70% in the fourth quarter starting in October. This could mean relief for people with diabetes who face annual cost of more than a $1000 for insulin they need in order to live. Lily says it will immediately cap monthly out of pocket costs at $35 for people who are not covered by Medicare. President Biden says Eli Lilly is heeding his call and others should follow. The Godlessness in Our Society Puts Women in a Weird Position
"Let me just say this. I think that the godliness godlessness of our society put women in a weird position that was created to destroy our country and destroy the household and not advance. Let me give you an example. There's a concept of advancement that seems advancement seems like advancement to some, but when you look at it in reality, it's not advancement at all. If I were to go and give you a $1000, you would feel like that you become a richer person, you have more money. But if I don't give you that with the tools necessary or the education necessary to spend at a effectively, I'm not really helping you. I'm hurting you. And I believe that concept can happen with this whole movement of feminism. And empowering women quote, unquote, to be equal to men, not to be reached women's full potential in the country, but to be equal to men and my opinion was a thought from the enemy to hurt women not help women. Why do you say that mister Tatum? They didn't care about you as a woman when they were pushing feminism and pushing what they call women's rights. They were worried about the best interests of the government. Why do you say that, mister Tatum? Because if you weren't working, you weren't paying taxes. But they want to force you on a job so you can leave the home, destroy the family, go work on a job so they can get double the tax.

How Big Pharma Covertly Worked With Platforms to Censor Critics
"Lee fang has a thread on Twitter, but he also has a longer article which I have now in front of me from the intercept. And what is this describing? It's describing a concerted and somewhat covert effort by big pharma by companies like Pfizer, like Moderna, to censor content on social media platforms that hurts their profits. I mean, this is almost shocking to say, because they're not censoring misinformation as we'll learn in a minute, their censoring legitimate debate, their censoring information, and by the way, they are allowing misstatements and falsehoods by their own industry representatives to go unchecked unexamined on an uncensored those lies are in fact still up on social media right now. The story is a kind of a familiar one. So what we have here is you've got the pharmaceutical industry, and the pharmaceutical industry wants to work with these social media platforms, but they realize it might look kind of bad if they did this openly and blatantly. And so their lobbying group, they have a lobbying group and they operate through the lobbying group, the lobbying group is called bio bio. And what is bio do? Bio works with a kind of another operation that is a nonprofit called the public goods project. So look at how this is all camouflaged. The lobbying group is giving money in this case it turns out 1 million 275 $1000 to this nonprofit, and the nonprofit communicates then with meta Facebook with YouTube, it communicates with Twitter. So Twitter thinks oh we're dealing with this well, meaning nonprofits are trying to censor misinformation, they don't realize what we're getting here is what the industry wants.

I think it's probably within ten to 15 swing voters. Is that about right? Yeah, I think that's right. And so there are quite a few members we continue to work on them and call them quite a few. I had a great conversation this morning with one member who said, you know, had been previously committed to Rana, who said, I like what I heard. I'm going to keep an open mind and we should talk more in Dana point. You mentioned Dana point, we have these meetings that are at these lavish $1000. Yeah. Yeah, I know that's going to end if I'm the chair of the RNC. I think one of our last meeting where we elected Rana two years ago was at Amelia island and, you know, it was a sort of a leftover booking that somehow we couldn't cancel, but we blew $3 million on that meeting, which is ridiculous, and we need better negotiations on these things so that we don't get stuck with contracts. We can't get out of. So, you know, yeah, I mean, I think we should be focusing on raising money from donors and that not blowing it on ourselves, but actually using it to win elections. And there was the joke back in the day that, you know, Republicans would wear the red cloth, the cloth coat, the sturdy cloth coat, and be economical and hard nosed about it. I don't know how high this number is going to go. You know, people are trying to get me to set another goal. I'm not going to set a goal. I'm going to let God direct and lead whatever this final number should be, but right now it's 8596 kids. I mean, if we get to 10,000 kids, that's a quarter of a $1 million, that'll be off the charts. California Reparations Task Force Begins Deliberations
"On Wednesday of this week, the first meeting of California's slavery reparations task force met in Oakland, California. During the hearing, a man stood up a 35 year old entrepreneur. First, black, professional triathlete. A guy named max fennell max fennell stood up before the hearing in Oakland, California, and demanded $600,000 from California taxpayers, 600 $1000. Deliberations are beginning in California. On how to quantify financial compensation for black Californians to receive billions of dollars, I guess, in slavery reparations. I am sitting here in absolute, I feel like I'm going to slip into madness. I'm reading here from the daily mail. Max fennell said that every person should get $350,000 in compensation to close the racial wealth gap. Boy, that would do it. I mean, that would 350,000. Yeah, that would close the racial wealth gap and black owned business owners should get 250,000, which would help them flourish. And he said, it's a debt that's owed, we worked for free, we're not asking you, we're telling you.

How the RNC Is Blowing YOUR Money
"USA is nowhere near the size of the RNC. We are a fraction. We do raise a serious amount if you count turning point USA turning point action, we have over a 165,000 grassroots donors, very blessed. So I know a little bit about this space about what it's like to allocate expenditures. 40% of all the money spent by the Republican National Committee was spent on fundraising. 40%. So if you give a dollar to the RNC, if you give a dollar to the GOP, 40 cents on the dollar is going to go spend to is being spent to raise more money. And so the RNC's responses, well, the RNC has raised record amounts of money. Well, they've raised record amounts of money because they're spending all your money in raising more money. It's that they spend money on new solicitations, buying new lists, and that's part of their response. But if anyone in the audience, please email me freedom at Charlie Kirk dot com. What is the argument? For spending $700,000 on floral arrangements. Somebody said, well, Charlie, it's for donors that passed away. Okay, that's not the best spent. I'll be honest, that's not the best money spent by the RNC. At $700,000, got to be spent on data that could be spent on critical infrastructure in the states. That's not the best money spent. I'm not saying you shouldn't honor a person that passes away, but $700,000 on flowers. Okay, so you might say, well, what is what are the Democrats spend? The Democrat National Committee only spent a $1000 on flowers. So this is just the election cycle. The RNC spent $321,000 on flowers and the Democrats spent $1000 on flowers.

"The runs lower aren't long enough right now and the pullbacks are a little bit deep. It's not too bad in the two hour, but it's not exciting to get involved. I'm just trading anything that's really, really flawless at the moment with less capital than I normally would have. So I'm being very cautious and taking my time. XRP today is down 1.2% at 35.9 cents after being up 1%. Yesterday, coming back to retest or very close, 37 cents, which was a support level yesterday. Not much to speak of as far as trading opportunities go right now and XRP. Another one in the market where it's just still a little bit shaky. Without good trend. Doge was down 3% yesterday. It's up 1.7% today. It's 7.5 cents. Again, not a good market. Really, the cyclicity is not there. The trend is not great. I want to see more. On the cardano, which set new lows in the bear market of 2022 yesterday, the lowest 29 cents currently trading at 13 and a half cents up .44%. It closed down 2.4% yesterday. Matic closed down 1.33%. It's up 1.14% today. At 80 cents on the nose. It's got a decent looking trend. It's just a bit yeah, it's probably more like the 8 hour or something if it's going to set up. It's going to have to put some more time and working in before I get excited there. On the dart it's down .1 of the percent today at $5 and 17 cents. Yesterday having sold off further to a further 2%, setting fresh lows in this bear market, the low yesterday coming in at $5 and 13 cents. Solana Graham lower yesterday is well down 3.84% four hour training is actually not looking too bad. It's just a bit of a shame that we get you get a candle that's down 4.3% and then we'll next to it up 3.4%. Then we go back down again 2%. So it's not really giving that flow that I like to see in the market. It's sitting down 1.8% right now at $11 and 54 cents. It's going to be interesting to see what happens with Solana here. It has studied the ship after the Alameda and FTX debacle. Of course, both firms being very closely associated associated and invested in Solana. It may end up being if it does stick around that solano might end up being one of the better buys long-term if that technology is to survive. I'd so far it's holding its ground. It's not gone to zero, still got liquidity. So another one there in our top ten to consider if you are looking to get some exposure, of course it has come off since the 5th of November, we were up around $36 since then, we have fallen about 70%, so a humongous decline. It's down another 1.9% today, 1154, as I said, and she but you know, today, up .2 of a percent yesterday down a whopping 4%, another one with a trend isn't looking all that great. But further downside could change all of this. Further downside could open this up for some fantastic opportunities. And that's what I'm going to be watching out for. Guys, have a fantastic day. I look forward to speaking to you again tomorrow at some stage. And I keep your eye on Twitter for what we've got going on.

And that's going to be with the buddy of mine. Coach K, who has been pretty much on the money as far as similar to what we do is saying, look, good times, be taking profits. Here's where I think the market can get to, and we both have a fairly similar sort of, I guess, agreement as far as, yeah, the highs and the lows, really. We've been pretty much on the money. We've just got to work out the lows now and also we're going to be covering the sort of things that we want to see exchanges bring to give us that safety, that security and that transparency, as I've been saying a few times on the podcast lately, it's not just about the reserves. It's about the debt. It's about seeing their balance sheet and making sure they are ordered properly ordered, not just, hey, here's what we've got, we need to see proof of that and like I said yesterday, coinbase has been audited by Deloitte. It's not showing however the TVL and the clean TVL. So we've got to see a little bit more action there. Anyway, going forward, back into our markets, Ethereum yesterday sold off 3% very much the same as Bitcoin. I have been keeping an eye on this trend on the two hour and the four hour. Again, though, it's really not satisfying what I'm after at this stage. Yes, we do have a bit of a downtrend on the two and the one, but it's not stretching its legs. It's not giving that simplicity that I really like. It's still looking a little bit nervous. It's down .4% today at 1100. And it does really want to look at the daily out of a very, it really feels as though we can go lower here. If you recall back on the 18th of June, we hit a low of 877 before them moving back up to a high in that round of 2030, so a lot of a lot of really strong momentum with the theory and from that low. I believe that we will see 1000 Ethereum yet again and potentially much more subbing sub sub 1000 to take out those lows on the 18th of 8 77. It's just the way the charts playing out. It's just the way of the weekly trend is playing out and it's the way the market seems to be headed at the moment. 1100 down .4 of a percent on Ethereum. Binance yesterday had a bit of a sell off, nearly 4% down. It actually pushed through a fairly strong level of support, like it's a region of support about $260. Binance did fall through that level and it is now trading at two 56 and 15 cents. That support is not insignificant. And now that we've broken that, maybe we'll see some further downside on binance that being said it is up 1% today at two 56 and 19 cents. Another one there that does have a trend.

I'm still looking at fitty, if I fit phi, if I TFR, USD T, a little bit of a level forming around, just above the three set Mark, but there's not been a great deal of action. I've got to be honest. There's not been a great deal of action that's really sort of captured my attention. A little bit of a little bit of everything out there today so far. Of course, yesterday, look, we did see the market come off. The problem that I found when it came to actual trading opportunities was, well, the lack of them. The lack of charting opportunities was, yeah, that was the one. But more importantly, we just haven't got simplicity. Yes, we saw the market come off. But what we've been seeing is kind of just a quick move. And the move down was a lot was lovely on many of the pairs. The problem was, is the pull back that it then subsequently came to create. The pullback was sharp in many cases and deep in many cases as well. And whilst Bitcoin, I'm looking at the two hour chart now. There is a lower high, there is a lower low, it's pulled back in, sort of rejected just shy of 16,000 with the high coming in at 15 9 67. There could have been an opportunity to short up in there. How do I have a smaller candle? A small bearish candle that follows a crypto cradle strategy, but it didn't get that. Did not get that at all. It wasn't something that played out the way I was hopeful for it to do so. And that ended up being the case for many across the board. What I am looking at at the moment, however, is some of those flat levels that I spoke of before. I did find the number of those. Anyway, yesterday's cycle on the daily time frame. For Bitcoin, well, it did close down. It was down about 3% if I'm correct. Let's have a look 3% down on Bitcoin. And it did in fact set new lows for the 2022 bear market there as well. We did hit a low of $15,440. A far cry from where we were this time last year. As a matter of fact, for nostalgia, 21st of November, that must have been around the high, I think. November, let's have a look. I'll tell you in November 21. Which was yesterday that closed at 58,680 and it was the beginning of Bitcoin starting to come off its top that top being up around 69,185, so it has fallen a long way. We all know that. We all know that as I keep on saying, as I keep continually saying, Bitcoin has done nothing wrong. It continues to do what Bitcoin does. And for that, I am grateful because there's no, you can't really hate on Bitcoin. It's the centralized exchanges that have been the things that have caused the problems for the most part. And yeah, we sold you on. So yes, yesterday down 3% today, it's up .2 of a percent at 15,700 and 88. Yesterday we had a really good chat about FTX and all the bits and pieces in exchanges and what we're looking for.

And you know the set was like a modern day, glassy version of the dating dating game right down to the hippie flowers. Great. The first contestant was Hannah Brown from the bachelorette. Yeah, the thing that that the thing that upset me the most Okay, this ought to be good. The thing that upset me the most because I have Vintage fondness for the game. I loved that show. I was so fun Contestant number one. I loved it that And what do you do when you pick your bachelor? You meet him. You meet them. They come out and then the announcer says you're going on a tonight three day all expense trip to Catalina Island. That was the one I remember just thinking. All the time. That would be all the time or you're going on a helicopter ride and having lunch at Santa Monica's shutters? Yes, yes, yes, yes, something local and Elliot 15 seconds of Ha ha waving at the camera, and there was no payoff. There is no date. We don't hear there is no date. They're guessing Blake lively and you know, real celebrity names. She's a Jones. I mean, they're guessing they're not celebrities they bought the contestants bought into celebrity. Part of that's right. So here's Michael Bolton singing his clue song for the Bachelor's on celebrity dating game. So they can maybe get an idea who is the celebrity? Can you tell us how. How does actually the resistant happened for wrinkle. Marson see you can have these this expression of vancomycin resistance gene clusters so most commonly referred to his van. Abe there are other types as well It changes those amino acids cross links form so that l. d. aloe can become d ala d lack this prevents vancomycin from binding. It doesn't prevent pdp's for making cross links and there's also a vre variant that uses the elodie syrian so. There's not just one way this happens. There's a couple of ways and it ends up causing infection that is bad news for the remaining treatment. Options are primarily. iv and you know may not be well tolerated in all patients. So unlike what we saw with altered binding affinity with penzone by protein. This is an all or nothing thing you know. you can't give more vancomycin to overcome. Vre is not going to work right right. Exactly and it's it's definitely something we need to be aware of because this is actually something that was shared with staph aureus in can potentially lead to that vancomycin resistant staff oriented. So that's why that. E l d lack may sound familiar to so you mentioned that. Basically the options. What are some of the common ivy options. And why might we pick one or over the other certain circumstances pros and cons. There's a couple options that are idee as you mentioned so it depends on the site of the infection in depends on those adverse effects that may occur from those those drugs so the first one that comes to mind worth discussing would be adapted mason or cuban that works by disrupting the cell membrane in inserts. It's pathetic tale into that cell membrane informs in ion channel and it's our only very drug that's bacteria titles so that can put it maybe closer to first place in terms of what you would try for an ivy option when when patients have a very infection so of course the next question is is it common. That vre can also be dapper mice resistant. Is that a thing or not. It's something that can occur but it's extremely uncommon at least for now requires multiple stepwise mutations. So it's not just one gene cluster. That can turn it on like we may see with finkel ason and dr anderson. You kind of mentioned that it forms these ion channels. They're essentially like holes into you know making holes into the bacterial cell wall does. Does that have an implication as do its side effect in human cells to. Yeah that's a great question. It's gonna poking holes so it can poke holes in our muscle cells to And that can lead to wrap dough mile assists. We really need to monitor the pk in these patients. At least weekly or maybe even more frequently if they have other risk factors present to make sure that that's not adverse effect that's occurring in one kind of goofy but really interesting topic about my since how to dose it right. So it is a way base dose. We're not going to get into which way to pick and things like that but even the number itself in terms of how many milligrams per kilogram do need to fight. Vre dr anderson. What what is the magic number here. Yes so this is a tricky topic. it's fda approved for four milligrams per kilogram per day for skin and soft tissue infections..
