I'll try and no trying to one up that one now. Badger badger badger. And i'm this week a little bit of good news. I think this is from coming from fox. News forty-one-year-old. Josie rock was taking photos over three months three month. Old son asher. When she went back to review the photo she noticed that one ashes is was going white which humiliates suspected was cancer for testing Her fears were confirmed and was discovered that her that Asher had a very very rare form of cancer known as great a retinal blasted. The good news is the excuse me. I'm sorry gray by the my grade. D ipod gray d retinal. Bless oma the good news is it was caught early. Asher managed to undergo successful treatment. According to tomas olsson director of the solid tumor program in the athletic kendra cancer center children's healthcare atlanta said that five times fast. Goodness something something as simple as taking a photo of an infant and being aware of what was happening in the photo is what what compass yep so and and it's one of those things like a photo can tell you a lot so so pay attention. You know the the color that shows up in is in photos can oftentimes telecom two things. I think i read somewhere that that there's even like there's something that happens. The is in in certain photos. If you're dehydrated or something like your eyes tell lots of stories though so. Pay attention to them in photos. Yup that's the moral of this story. Bright while the moral the story is don't buy a hundred thousand dollars for tv but well there's that too as you might have to deal with cancer. "Is that as far as you know. Because we break down the tech news but also dissect it as well you know even irregardless. I mean i'm i mean because i think they're saying there's things that i may agree on some things that you may agree on end or disagree on but you know and i think that i mean i've been doing this podcast. Wellbeing bye-bye came on you know months ago but this podcast in for three years. And i'm still learning on on certain things and what avenue to go to but majority is that it's basically it's affecting people like f. I live starting consumers. This affecting like things from one end to the other. And it's all about. There's no really. There's really no right or wrong with things with it worth with with things. But i'm just second guess what's going to happen next and and that is something because nothing. Nothing is set. There's there's no rules it's all about feeling we feel this one's offensive. Well why does matter. Bright right exactly because there's a particular comedian that i watch a ton except for this month because he takes july off but i watch him an absolute ton and you know he gets these these strikes from youtube and twitter about jokes or commentary but and the reason that's given is blank which both companies say as part of their policy to always give feedback and they ever do because they don't have a reason is a we feel. That's the problem right. So i'm i'm just curious that we're just curious if you're if you're watching live we're listening later or watching later definitely let us know what you feel about about this or this or this topic. I'm sleep last night by and if you're a content creator. Is this the thing you feel comfortable. You know giving facebook. Watch a try instagram. Tv try. I'll tell you i tried For six months. Texas Democrat Lawmakers Look Ridiculous Fleeing the State

"Just watching. I had Fox on here in the background and I'm watching this story about these epic losers from Texas. These Democrat lawmakers, Jim, You and Mike are out there in Texas on the Great Fighting Almighty w B. A P in Dallas, one of our up one of the great stations that carries the show. We love you. But what a bunch of losers! So in case you missed this story, I mean dip wads of the highest order these Texas state lawmakers to avoid a quorum. They fled the state because they don't like free and fair elections. They want to basically vote for people to be able to cheat in elections is Democrats love cheating? So in order to keep the cheating going, they fled this day. Not only flee the same, they're dumb enough to take these dopey something they got these they're taking on the play like one day. These are the big face Diaper brigade to they love the face diapers in the mass. They like the deuce. They want to rock the Deuce, the Triple Mass. Sometimes they're on the plane. Private jets, by the way. No masks at all, which listen great. Good for you. I don't believe in the face Diaper either, but it's just weird. How the Democrats tell you to put your face diaper on. And yet when they flee the state in a private jet that I'm guessing Based on some experiences a local private airport near me, and I know the guy. Well, I'm guessing for that many people on that plane multiple plea. It was probably a couple $100,000 to fly them to Washington, D. C. To get these cowardly chumps out of Texas and enter up on Capitol Hill, Not in Texas, where they're supposed to be doing, you know, Texas type stuff. And they're singing when they're singing is really quite terrible.

Rogers was the last person to vote in Texas last Super Tuesday. Now he's making news for different reason. The Texas attorney general arrested Rogers on charges of illegal voting because he was on probation. He's being held on $100,000 Bond. Texas State representative Joe Moody in El Paso Democrats said. There's a problem with that bail. He didn't commit a crime of violence here. Unknowingly voted. There is bias in our system. There is a desperate racial impact, mostly for black men. "If you're putting on offers you will definitely get deals. What is the greatest lesson. You've learned great lesson. i learned. Make sure that you you're understanding what you're jumping in. Don't do what i did. Don't just like swing the hammer and just hope for the best. I wanted to goal in. And i was like f- like i'm going to do it. Al beard on his goals. But that didn't work out so well so definitely definitely like just realize what you wanna do and make sure that you are are ready. And and don't don't do that job at all. I think the reason. Why successful is that. You believe you can do anything right. You have unlimited ability right. You got unlimited confidence which is a great asset. You just don't have to tackle the world on step one. Basically get there in seven eight nine ten steps exactly right Samuel wants to know what is the best room now salesforce two years ago. I would've said polio. By not so much anymore. Salesforce we partic- g we are. We're all transitioning. I think everyone's transitioning over to salesforce. Now they're like show you sell stores like all the copay doing my god now that i've seen it i'm like i can't even look at polio. Like we're still working on. It annoys me like stephanie's we can't predict what's going on and it's like now with salesforce. They can't submit like they can't click out of a lead unless tabs are like clicked on. And i love that because acquisitions always forgets to notat or tag. The damn account sonali just can't get off the page until they do it and i love that So the next question is favorite most interesting failure. I'm guessing probably philly. I flip in philly but is there anything else know. Surprisingly that's my best best lesson. It was my big it was. It was the hardest thing i've ever went through but it taught me a lot Taught me that. If i put my mind into anything i can do like also taught me like to believe in faith like i really went through like some heavy stuff and i prayed a lot That we were going to overcome it and and we did. You did and we did. Yeah so again. We said multiple times. But it's not all rainbows and unicorns. Now it's not But as can be a lot of suffering but it's worth it it's worth it. It's worth it yeah. Is there a book if you have more than any other. you know. When i got sent this list of questions. I was like damn. I haven't i haven't given a gift to. I haven't given a book so i haven't given a book. I would say i give a book called Twelve hours twelve weeks which helps a kid sleep. Gets you get your child to in a sleeping pattern so that you can work and do more. So that's probably the only book. I it's great. Yeah ideal there's a lot of moms in the industry. That i i d say it again. It's twelve hours by twelve weeks. Twelve hours by twelve weeks and book deals. It's a mom book. But i will probably add to this And maybe it's not a good year for husbands to do it but if you're dealing with a wife who can't sleep. This is a good book for a husband not to give to the wife because that can sometimes get you in. Trouble does..

Super new york ninety nine percent of the time. Your your son is with like a babysitter I don't want that. And i want my son to have time with new york. Well new york thing like like we were just grow up to like you. Have to work and hustle. If you're not doing now like what are you doing. You're lazy. It's either you're hustling hustling hundred percent or you're lazy or you're bump So it's like. Start working at day complete all of this. I didn't know the way it wasn't a york. Yeah it's very. It's a very hustle hustle and bustle type of city. Hustle bustle they nervously. But may i had no idea that you're being judged. Well it's not really you judge yourself got yourself. It's everyone everyone's out grinding like you're grinding so it's like if you're not doing it then yeah you're a bum What is your biggest trouble right now. So i told you earlier we came back from. Cg december twenty twenty and conversation with fellow conversation with a few people there like you. You know we need. I need to focus on a few different things so right now. We've kind of been transitioning our company from like only having like people overseas to building out having more americanized people so like the people that are touching my data. My homeowners like i want them to be more experienced developer high-calibre so hiring really good people but not having to have twenty people on staff like really one or two really good. People in departments can go a long way So building out our soap's making sure our on boarding process as dialed in so like there's thirty days until into the on boarding process like we've set the expectations. You're clear of what the expectations are. There's no gray area and like this is what we expect like. No joke So we just kind of been switching things around. We brought in acts credit but doing credit repair offer. That's more.

We have one hundred eighty three thousand leads. You cannot tell me that. There's no data if you haven't said made it one hundred eighty three thousand leads keep dialing. We had Let's see was twenty. Nineteen beginning of nineteen Myself jesse broil and jerry dallas. We bought the list for the entire county. Yes i got forty to fifty thousand records. Skip traced trades at all. That one's well. That was the way to get the lowest price possible. I gotta bulk it. We balked at. I think we split twenty thousand for everything or it's not bad. "It's going to really really change the narrative of anyone's business if you're doing education if you're if you're taking what others are doing an appliance applying it to your business like don't try to figure it out like i did or definitely do however april do. Don't do that so please. Don't all right so you mentioned that you don't have to scale which is something that we all struggle with because we all start like man you know. There's gotta be a way where i don't have to run that rat race and you think man you know if i could just get out of the nine to five and he gets his business and your scale scale get like something happens where like africa just got some more free time and you get in and you sacrifice all your time all anything you enjoy. Go crazy in the business so what about. Cg has said told you don't have to scale not cg itself but it's just i want with for my my my vision clear what you want. I got clarity on what i want. I have a son who's my life. it's my world. I enjoy little things in the morning. That i can do like for example like you know when we were trying to scale in two thousand twenty. We were doing amazing. But i was working more than two five like i won't point. I'm like i'd rather be in a nine to five five o'clock comes you just check out and you don't even check emails to worry about to worry about it. The weekend comes is like take a real vacation. "She felt comfortable with us with the team that we had and she went ahead with the sale. That was twenty two thousand dollars alphabet. Run up. I will never forget that house because it was very eerie going inside that house when she mentioned like dr. Pass away in this room that you're standing in an area before she said that if a very and then we had to go back because that's board the house in the night and no one wanted to go inside the house. I know when she was actually murdered in that house her boyfriend. And we've looked those houses. We flipped them and actually sold. And that was the funniest. It's not funny but one of my bars was ready to buy it. He was like. Do you know this the murder house. I'm not buying this house. No one's gonna wanna buy live here once. They know what happened in his home but actually sold like the end buyer flipped at and it was really nice. We flipped the house sometime ago. And like in arizona. You're actually not required to disclose you're not required to disclose a crime or anything like that or waiting like died but for me was like i'm going to sell this as i'm putting my name on this like i'm gonna tell them like hey you know and Okay let's take five thousand the price like okay. That's all it's gonna take then fi as long as you guys know but like it was like a murder suicide like the guy. He killed his girlfriend to dogs and then he killed himself while her story was actually on. Id tv ide- He was he tortured her for days and then set on fire. Oh my goodness yes. So that's very eerie a- all right so you also that one and so twenty nineteen smooth sailing. Twenty nineteen we. I remember wearing a lot of debt. So twenty nineteen. I took on. That's another thing like what i've learned. I took on a partnership that i probably would have never taken If it wasn't based like what we were going through. And i just kind of wanted help and i needed operational help so it was going well like we had a really good. We had an in house team. There was a few people working in the office. Everything was going really good. We're getting a lot of deals. But it was like our margins..

"I couldn't sleep unless i was like taking xanax. Or something like that to like medicate like it was bad. So don't trust contractors. Don't start big start big. What else If you are going to do do it virtually just make sure you have the proper people on the ground to manage it like not the contractor not contractors person. Who's on his team like. Completely different person partial person impartial. Person has nothing to do with it. That's going to pop up. Also don't ever let the contractor know when you're going to pop up like just pop up but don't say hey. I'm going to be there on monday morning. So they're always going to be there. Yeah so that's just that or just all. You're going to be there when you're not exactly. Yeah okay so all in all. I deal how much that total to fifty. Forty grand. One hundred and seventy-five what investors for the for the rehab doe. that was. that was what we took from. Investors for rehab. I draw And then like cost and then you also lost money on rentals. Yes how'd you do that So philly very block by block well back then so you can have a street with really nice houses and then around the corner. It's not so nice they will if your house is on that bad street. They don't care about the cops that are around the corner. No that's the way. It is street by street street by street so i went with them in salary. Like it's kind of like new york again. I was not properly educated. So i went with them entirely. It's going to sell like why not. It's a great property like we and it was also a home with a good job on. It was a rental that did not look like what it looked now looked after we were done. i mean. We shifted staircases and everything because the staircases were like right smack when you open the door. So i want the staircases on the right. So we've completely did a full gut job and then it wasn't selling at the price that we wanted it to sell so that was a deal that those were both rentals. Were to deals that we sold. And i actually had to come. We had to come with money to the table. Just get out of the loan and just walk away with it because we were also self managing those rentals and that's another thing two of them stealing them. It's so the we have both of them. The same way y was less got the other one was full. All right first three deals just not you mean you. You were swinging for the fences. I wanted to do whatever was going to get me to into real estate. I was going to take to the top. That was just my model. Like you're you're you're swinging for grand slams. You're not you're doing singles and you did three times right out of the gate and that's how you got six hundred thousand. Yeah insane amount of debt and how much period that was probably a span of a year and a half. So i just wanna just kinda like recap for..

"And i'm in the hospital. I'm unable to leave my room so at that point is just everything was happening. Took a toll on us and we did the number one thing you don't do you trust your contractors. Hey we're everything's going fine. Okay we're we're not gonna go today. That was him. I'm not go today. You guys have it okay. We'll find believing them that things were happening later. Did we find out. That wasn't the case what was happening The job was not getting done. They were doing other jobs whether we're supposed to be doing our job Had one guy had a few people pop up. They weren't even though they were say that they were there And then we pressed contractor like what's going on and he's saying he had issues with his wife he was having all these personal issues. The next thing you know he just disappears off the face of the earth with eighty thousand dollars that we had plus materials. That were already bought. That went down the drain because we never got materials. They were in his. They were in his warehouse and then we had subcontractors paint them eighty k. bio materials. Be there bought them or did he said he had them turns out. I'm really think he did. And then on top of that are subcontractors having gotten paid and he just vanishes oh okay. So you're paying him because we buying stuff. Because we paying the subs and now you might have been biased up. But it wasn't for you. It wasn't for me. And then he was not paying the subs correct gotcha. and then. He went dark dark dark so then to anything happened indefinite. Now that flip went to nothing that flip pretty good it. They got it. It's got it so and then he stopped work. You've been better off. If they didn't start it i would have better off. I would've never bought the whatever thing especially that big of a deal so it went nowhere and gus what we had raise money for that because we we had a really really good relationship with people that you know we. We have friends with family so we raised money for that and regardless of the fact we still had to pay the money out like we still had to pair people. We still had to make it work because you know it doesn't really matter our relationships ashen. I mean more than anything else so he got to the point where it was like. We're gonna pay you guys..

"There wasn't really much information. So i i'm going to say twenty thirteen's at twenty twenty thirteen. Two thousand fourteen was around the time where i started doing research i was still dabbling in real estate as a roadster and then i was doing side jobs Waitressing i would do pick up things here and there just to make ends meet but i was doing heavy research on. How can i get into real estate. What other forms can i get it. And how can i get involved. That doesn't doesn't mean me being a realtor only so it's kinda of started right okay. So you started doing the research and what did you. What did you figure out. So i knew that new york was unattainable for me to start i just at that point. I thought new york was not. It was a monster on its own. It was something that i couldn't do. I felt i was kind of giving myself like top like it's impossible or now knowing what i know now. Nothing's impossible in my in my eyes. Like if i want something. I can achieve it but back then. I was like new. York is not it. So i started looking at markets outside of new york that i can still commute to travel to and i came across pennsylvania because a lot of people in new york It's very expensive. So i opt to move out of the city and commute into into the city for it happens all the time If you're on the train and you work you live uptown. You're probably on the train for an hour and fifteen minutes if there's no like train situation going on which is always all the time. But if you're commuting from pennsylvania it's pretty much the same so people choose to move out of the city. They have homes. They have yards and then they commute into the city daily. They'll leave at six thirty or seven o'clock and there in the office nine someone. Who's an early bird. That's not something that can't be done so we started scouting..

So i've always liked having money having my own stuff in high school. I started interning. And i went into fashion. I thought that's what i wanted in my life. I wanted to be in fashion. Corporate world. new york life quickly realized that wasn't for me but being in fashion i was around l. After work events and i would come across a lot of people that worked in corporate. And all the time i would come across people that were in sales or in real estate sales and they were doing pretty well for themselves and i quickly realized that. That's what i wanted to do. So i quit my job and became a real estate agent in new york. So realtor brelzer. The realtor jumped into the Yes i did. She said you're fourteen. No that was my fourteen. That was in. When i was fourteen so this is out of high school. My young twenty twenty twenty one years old you started in fashion. Mashing us you explore that world wasn't for you and then in your early twenties you're going to the after our seeing and seeing that everyone that was a realtor was in real estate or in sales was just good for themselves. They weren't in that nine to five kind of like mentality which look like. They're doing good for themselves exactly so it was like i. I saw a shiny object. And they're doing good but did you find out whether they were actually doing good. So a a realtor. New york is very hard like it's not an easy industry I wasn't doing sales. I was doing rentals which was good for us. But that's i mean that's a good business as leasing agent in new york. It's a great business. I might not my best sweet spots. Were owner appease which was owner pays so owner was paying my fee. I was all on board so do one. Two deals in new york and i was charging one month fee. So runs are usually thirty. Five forty five fifty five hundred a month for like one bedroom to barons apartments downtown. So i was happy with that one. One or two deals was lanzi. Nine to ten thousand dollars a month..

Thank God I don't care if he gets trampled, of course, then the little girl's father this but Police said the 25 year old man wanted to take a photo with the American bull elephant. Ah, being held $100,000 bail. What do you do with somebody? That makes a decision like that? Well, this is a difficult moral ground for me if he had been childless, I always root for the animal in this scenario of the gorilla to tear him limb from limb the tiger to eat him the elephant to stomp him into the ground just because I don't want his genes in the gene pool.
