Our father put the same genetic material into our mother, okay. Isn't that crazy? That's how we all start from this like weird cat explosion of like ecstasy, and then people get like baptism. Oh, get like wrapped in pink. And it's all like dressed up fans, and that we have a podcast because of that little explosion. Well, I'll tell you who stopped listening. We're going to really get into it with mimes. We want to know how they get the most out of life really because as reestablished life is short. Yeah. And we want to ask bigger questions. Like, you know, what's your favorite emoji? Let's say and and speaking of emojis, do you believe in God stuff like that? But our guest today is Neil, Patrick Harris. Neil somebody that we've both known for a long time and always had fun with nails one of the most playful interesting curious people I've ever known, and we're going to be talking a little bit about the world's drag Neil and his husband David have a documentary coming out called wig, which is all about weak stock, which is a cultural movement that's been happening for many years in New York. And so I hope you guys enjoy my conversation with Neil, Patrick, Harris. I hang out with only a doorbell guys. Yeah. That's that's the one requirement. So warming here for you soon. But but you strike me as somebody who I I can't imagine a Christian. I often say this that it's a rare combination to be confident and not do she, you know, you have that you possess that you are known by every I mean, you're very recognizable. Recognizable face. How does that? Again. Not a good thing or a bad thing. I'm sure that came with its own frustrations. But what were the what were the what were the bonuses of that? And what were the la- then? Yeah. Yeah. I could get into clubs really in LA without any kind of fake ID or anything. And did you do that? I did. Yeah. Yeah. I would flirt with drew Barrymore's. Mom. Oh, really? You. Flirt him. Jade Jade, get into the club. Are you being serious super serious kidding? So you might get way more partying when I was nineteen and twenty then I and I had a fake ID, my friend, Chuck cut me a good fake ID over in downtown LA, fifty bucks. Very exciting didn't need it. Because I was on the TV show. I think it was like when Webster would come in my manual Lewis would be in the corner was like here's Neil Patrick Harris over and that side of what would let me in to think. I I didn't look like I was twenty one and tell us about thirty four right. Yeah. You were a young young looking kit. What was your fake ID name? No as my own name. Okay. It was Thunderball Harris. So weird MD pay white three names. Did you ever think about just Neil hair? Always another Neil Harris, otherwise in the Screen Actors Guild. Okay to you. Speaking of the drag circuit, drag queens, inappropriate words, still try Queen clean. Yeah. Queens, gray, queens. Great. I mean, I say, no. No, I drag for a living. But I think queens are do you remember that bar on? I and I called Waikiki walis home. Why you always a Tiki bar, right? Next door to that Curio key drag bar called lucky Chang's. Oh, cool. Lucky Chang's in the first time I ever said, I was natural out loud was at lucky Chang's. We would go get all liquid up you'd have zombie one of those drinks, they all the the flaming. And and then you go through the kitchen to lucky changs. And I I was doing a show. Ed the show. Ed nice. You didn't episode of and and we were all there and we hadn't been on the air yet. And the hostess for the show was Anita cocktail she was just surly and fierce, and I signed up, and I went up to sing. And she was. Yeah. Cute. Honey, what's your name? And I said, it's it's Justin she goes. And what do you do for a living? And I said well, and I looked at my cast mates. I was like I'm an actor. And she goes, so am I dear? I'm an actress what restaurant you work. Well, you know, I don't work at a restaurant Moore. I'm actually an actor just an actor. And she goes. Yeah. And where do you where else do you work? And I said, I got really nervous. And she said, you know, what I've a friend who refuses to say that he is he's an actor and the refuses to say what restaurant works, and I'm an actress and I worked here, and I'm proud of it, and you should be two toss me the microphone. It's a great introduction. Yeah. And I just did you crash chessy is a. Oh, it's been staring daggers. But okay, quick question. The speaking short questions. Yeah. DVD? What is your most commonly used emoji on your phone? Oh, probably the the rose emoji my mother, and I when we text each other always end with a double rows or multiple roses. It's just like our sort of thing. And also like the the eggplant and re water draw Trump said, and you get the cherries in front of that. And you get the whole pack or peach peach ending on or this. If you this is not a short, maybe. But if you could give twenty year old speaking of that guy back in that room who is like trying to figure it out with his male friends. If you could give him advice now twenty year old Neil about anything. But like, really solid advice. You sit him down for like, thirty seconds. What would you say? Oh, wow.
