Thai Sharks, Repeat
Hi I'm calling your host of the good news podcast and I'm neil the host. The good news podcast is your source for Good News Fun Stories Auditory Delight and Sonic Joy. We're bringing all of this goodness do you from the cards against humanity studios in Chicago. Today's good news is all about an animal. That people may be love less than pooches. We're talking about sharks. Baby Sharks are spookiest heck but they're a very important part of an ecosystem. It's interesting that you call him. Spooky Spooky why spooky because of the debt is I think the debt is and it feels like they're always a hiding from you even when you can see when I still feel like it's in a closet waiting Chop me. Dang they feel like an apex Predator like a lion in the seren getty shorts me the lion king moment so that we all think about them as being great loving fathers. You know that what you're saying actually a really good point anyway. Today's good news comes from Thailand. Thailand is a beautiful place and one of its most famous. Beaches is getting back to nature. This beach was made famous by a movie. Very appropriately named the beach. After the movie it became a major tourist destination was fully flooded with people all the time. The Thai government made the bold decision that for the protection of the natural environment. They needed to close the beach. Initially it was just going to be for four months but they can. Now see that. It's GonNa take more time to rebound so it's closed for the foreseeable future. That's a bummer for us. But it's great for a very specific breed of shark the black tip reef shark to be exact de Sharks. Only thrive in very specific circumstances. Like this bay. The Thai people have given the bay back to the sharks only seems right. Are there other places you want to return to the wild? I really like looking at post apocalyptic imagery I I really like seeing the Eiffel Tower like covered in vines with deer grazing underneath it. You know like like cities after people. I feel like that was on discovery. Yeah yes so I wanNA see particularly the Eiffel Tower with trees growing out of it. Because I think that would be quite pretty. What about you choline I came to mind was Machu Pichu cool. I think right now I haven't been. I Really WanNa go if anybody wants to go hit me up. I think right now. It is very close to how it's supposed to be intended but because of the amount of traffic and the amount of people that come to visit every year. I'm sure there's some very clear paths but it's just go jungle. Let's go jungle cirque jungle and then that and then I want to see it like that. And it's not that would be its natural form. Well I mean that's a whole discussion right as is a natural form without any of the structures like if I want the Eiffel Tower return to nature. Does that mean the tower itself is gone? And it's just a patch of grass would the Machu Pichu space just just grass. Or You WANNA see. Yeah the tumbled. Down Rock structures. I WANNA see Monte peachy there with all the overgrown Moss I wanNA see a bunch. Thanks for listening. Do you have good news loss or maybe you WanNa tell us a joke or idea.
