Listen: Lake Forest, Michelle Esteban And Puget Sound discussed on News, Traffic and Weather
"Night to stay indoors hold snowing in some out there about six weeks of good night's to stay indoors at this point. It's been so cold since February the team continues here for March in tonight more excitement, I guess we've seen a little bit more of that snow and hail piling up in particular in the north NS from lake forest park from our own Michelle Esteban. She said that sound of the hail hitting the deck was so loud and went on for so long that it was amazing to see it continuing to pile up there. A look at the radar picture. We'll see where it continues to snow. Remember, the blue matching up with snowfall, and that continues both at the ocean beaches around forks and also in the interior we've had this big swath of snow from persistent convergence zone hanging out in the north sound. You can see some of that. Even over the north end downtown Seattle. Around magnolia and over the marina there that batch of snow continues over lake forest park and back toward Maltby Kingston and back towards STAN would we've seen the snow continuing to pile up there tonight to to the tune of about an inch or two on top of what we had this morning, and then into the interiors of mission Skagit counties, granite falls and back toward so endearing tin and all the way up into Lyman in Ferndale the snow continuing tonight as well. So bottom line, most of the snow overnight tonight. We'll hang out in the north into Puget Sound, especially around home ish county could see a few more inches in some of those locations before the snow really winds down just in time for the morning commute that early drive is going to be a slippery one. And it will eventually dry out here. In fact, by this time tomorrow, we should be completely dry, which will be a nice change in the short term year over Dan Seattle. It's pretty dry right around the metro area aside from those lingering snow showers right around magnolia. And Queen Anne thirty eight degrees. So another chilly March evening, and even colour colder outside of the city. Limits were down to thirty already in Tacoma opera twenties closer to the org. State line in Longview, and about thirty two in port Angeles. So anything that's still wet or white out. There tonight has the potential to freeze up again for the early morning commute. Good news is we are going to dry out just in time for the weekend this area of low pressure, which has been bothering us for the last couple of days finally starts to push over Montana higher pressure building in football, Saturday and Sunday. So that's wonderful timing. It will give us both brighter conditions and also a nice warm temperatures by the time we hit the weekend finally closing in on fifty degrees, which is at least closer to where we're supposed to be for this time of year. But again overnight tonight, some lingering scattered showers possible just about anywhere. But most likely hanging out in the convergence center around Everett muckilteo, still some slippery morning commuting. But shouldn't be nearly as widespread of an issue as it was for this morning's commute temperatures back into the low to mid forties tomorrow. And again, we should be about fifty to fifty three degrees for this time of year. So still below average but trying for drying more in the way of sunbreaks as we head into the afternoon for Bellevue and for Bremerton back into the low forty s tomorrow remnant, I'm with the center. Breaking out over Vancouver island later in the afternoon. Also, looking mainly sunny by the time, we hit late Friday, Iran. Seabrook and ocean shores eastern, Washington, some lingering, scattered rain and snow showers in the morning could see a little bit of that freezing rain, which has been so problematic around the acme Bally's well up over the cascades, a big pass travel day on Friday should be improving up. There is the snow showers wind down and the skiing's looking great just in time for the weekend to we'll talk more about the weekend forecast and the next disturbance on deck to."
