Hacienda HealthCare still under investigation after nurse charged with sexual assault


When it came to thirty six year old licensed, practical nurse, Nathan Sutherland, it took a court order to get that DNA from him. The scientists in the Phoenix police crime crime laboratory determined the sample obtained from Sutherland matched the baby. The twenty nine year old victim has been in a vegetative state for roughly a decade Sutherland worked the night shift at hacienda healthcare and was the woman's caregiver around the time. The rape took place Sutherland was arrested and booked on one count of sexual assault and one count of vulnerable adult abuse. At his pale hearing Wednesday, the state asked for five hundred thousand dollars bail based on the seriousness of the crime Sutherland's attorney, David Greg argued the bail request was excessive and among other things. He's a longtime Phoenix residents employed with no prior criminal history family here, including younger ones.
